This place is great from dry goods, though limited in selection, ice cream, great burritos and tacos and everything else. But, the main reason you go there is the amazing pastries. I won't tell you what I like because I don't want you to buy them... However, you might find out if you buy a few of everything that looks good. And it's all pretty darn good. Killer prices too! In a great neighborhood!

More recently, they've had some uninspired, and at times rude help at the counter; one young lady in particular. Don't let her stop you from enjoying the great food and the great owners they have here though - or hopefully they'll have moved her on by the time you stop back in!

It was like being in San Felipe, Mexico amidst urban Denver. There is something to be said about authentic. It is more than a bakery; Emmanuel's is a miniature store with products straight from Mexico, a bakery, and a restaurant. The plates are large, the prices are great and the flavors are amazing! My motto, when in doubt, have the carnitas tacos!!! Mmm mmm mmm...

Best authentic tacos I've had in Denver. None of the hoopla with ground up meat or chicken, sloppy cheese and lettuce. You get a to-go plate of 4 tacos. Double corn tortillas for each taco, diced up asada (or pollo, barbacoa and a few others), a container of green salsa, and a container of diced up onions and cilantro to put on top. It's nothing fancey, but they're incredible. I'll be back often.
