Worst Dunkin Donuts I have ever been to!!! Waited at least 20 minutes for 2 breakfast sandwiches with lots of attitude from the assistant manager who happened to be making the sandwiches just throwing it together is a disorderly manner. I found pieces of bone in my sandwich and couldn't even eat it. Couldn't complain to anyone b/c the manager was unapproachable!! Very disappointed and won't be going back.

While vacationing in Maine, I visited Dunkin Donuts daily for a fresh pumpkin latte and a pumpkin donut. Now that it's fall again, I tried the Broadway location hoping for a repeat experience. Not! Tasteless donut and coffee was bitter. Disappointed. I won't be back.

I grew up eating at DD... as the saying goes, you don't know what you got until it's gone. When I could have these is when I really learned how flipping good they are. I'm happy they are back and they still taste the best! I'd eat here every day if only I could!

Maybe it's because I'm from New England but this dunkin is terrible. I'm not sure how it takes 10 minutes to make a cup of coffee. Or why they have a person asking if anyone would like any donuts today, seems like the easiest thing to prep and doesn't need a dedicated individual. How about you have that person operate the open register or serve coffee. Odds are if I'm just ordering a coffee I want it fast, dunkin appeal isn't great coffee, it's that it's quick. Without that it's a joke, like this one.

Late Night craving? Go somewhere else. Tuesday morning at 2:00am, headed home from dropping off friends, need two dozen donuts for the office in the morning. Pull up to the shop, only car in the lot, lobby is fully lit, doors are locked. The guy inside saw me, but didn't bother to wave me around. Didn't see any signage (like a neon sign!) indicating that service was drive-thru only. Got in my car, drove up to the menu board, was told that the only donuts they have at that time are "mixed dozens." Really? That doesn't work for me. Drove around to leave and there are two guys in the store. What are they afraid of that other stores on Broadway aren't? Drove to another donut shop on South Broadway, walked in, cases were full of freshly made donuts. Told the guy my tale and he gave me six extra donuts on top of the two dozen for work. Dunkin' does what is convenient for the store, not the customer. Too bad.

Update: This place has really turned itself around. The new guy Jeff is doing a great job with getting things in order over there. Our last experience was really nice and he even sent us home with a dozen FREE doughnuts due to the fact that it was late and they would have throw them out anyway. Great job Jeff and crew!

I had the oddest experience at this location. My family went to this DD at 6:30pm. No one was in line. We wanted a dozen donuts. We perused over the menu. Meanwhile the young man behind the counter got a box to fill. We could tell our cashier was not pleased with our slow pace. He placed the open box against his face to completely shield his face from us as he whispered something to his coworkers over his headset. This was unsanitary, yet we let it pass because he was young and maybe not trained properly. Then he did it again, placing his mouth inside the open box, to conceal words from our view. Whether he was whispering about us or other customers it was rude. Once our order was complete we sat in the lobby and ate a few of our donuts. I tried my wife's hot white chocolate raspberry latte. I decided to order one myself. That is when the kid behind the counter asked if I wanted cream with that. I had enough with the idiocy and alerted managers who were sitting in the lobby. They apologized and gave me coupons. They were understanding and offered to give me my drink free. Then I was given a latte on ice, and I mentioned that I wanted it hot. So the group lead on duty quickly whipped up a hot concoction. I took my latte outside to my car and prepared to leave, until I tasted the latte and it was merely milk with a splash of regular coffee, completely different than what my wife ordered. I went back into the store, as my wife and kid waited in the car. The managers had left, leaving the ruthless kids running the show. They told me that I needed to tell them exactly what I wanted, and I explained that I did. It was entered into their POS system. I became heated and pointed to the seasonal drink sign, and showed her what I wanted. They began talking about how I should not be so angry, and I needed to leave or they would call the police. The original cashier who put his face in our box even chimed in calmly that he would call the police with a smirk. Another customer walked in and thought I was being beligerent, and he told me I need to leave. This was getting out of control fast. I explained myself to the other customer and he recognized that he was not present to see why I was heated, but he still stated that I should order quicker next time. Just because I mentioned that my family was ordering slowly I am an outcast at Dunkin' apparently. The other customer said he always has his orders ready. I asked what if I'm new? There was no one else in line anyway. Then another customer walked in as the staff was telling me to never come back. He heard them, asked what happened, and I explained that the person behind the counter basically slobbered in our box when he held it against his face. He was repulsed by them telling me to never come back, and he left also. I'm glad someone understood. This is why I am eating out less. I will tell this story to everyone! My wife is a baker, and makes amazing wedding cakes, she also knows coffee and knows that they used coffee and not espresso in my drink. This is how they will treat you if you're not on top of your game, or a family ordering slow. This repulsed my wife and I'm speechless.

I'll start this review by noting that I'm from NJ, where there are nearly as many DDs as there are people. For the 5 years I have lived in Colorado, I have been praying for them to reopen a store in the Denver/Boulder area. I. LOVE. DUNKIN. DONUTS. I'm the asshole at Newark airport waiting for my flight back to Colorado, begging the Dunkin Donuts employees to give me all the available munchkins and fill my two 32 oz Nalgene bottles with blueberry iced coffee. Yeah, I know they don't exactly use the finest ingredients. Yeah, I know their coffee is watered down. But I love them regardless, so you can imagine my elation when I heard that DD would be opening just a few blocks from my place in Denver. I'm trying to embrace the fact that they are finally here. Honestly. But I've seen more selection and better service at the Dunkin Donuts in a NJ bus terminal. I realize they opened recently, but I really hope they get it together soon. I've gone probably about 20 times already (I told you I loved them...), each time waiting for them to show some semblance of having their shit together. They move slower than any other Dunkin Donuts I've ever been to and yet so far I think they've gotten my order correct twice. I get that it's a new place, I get that it's often packed (possibly because they're so slow?). But really. When I ask for an everything bagel toasted with butter, don't give me a bitchy attitude and say "Um, yeah, we ALWAYS toast our bagels" (by the way, in what world?), then proceed to hand me an UNTOASTED bagel. Also, this is a minor point, but one time I brought a reusable cup with me and there was no line (!!!), so I asked them if they could give it a quick rinse out before refilling it. The girl looked at me and told me that it was a health code violation to rinse out my cup, and that I should go rinse it out in the bathroom. I can't speak to the specific health codes they must follow, so I don't really know if she was correct.... but I cannot fathom how cleaning my cup out in a public bathroom is really any less of a health violation than someone rinsing it out in the dish sink like most coffee shops will do. Anyway, I had to give them an extra star just for being the first ones back in Denver, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Could you wait in line for a while? Yes. This location does need to work on their organization as when I was there I was confused by the order of things. Pay or give donuts order first? While I was there was a large mix up with drink orders. After losing track of orders they then had to take peoples receipts to make the drinks. This resulted in a large back up. To be fair the place was slammed. The line for the drive- thru was out to the road and the line for the inside wrapped out the door. Why the 4 star rating? Because when I got my order everything was tasty and just the way I remembered it. DD I have missed you these last four years!

Oh dear god... Dunkin Donuts is here. And it took a few days, but I was finally able to stop by and get some Munchkins and coffee. No idea why, but free coffee (??) tonight so I walked outta there with a sack of deliciousness and a cup of joe for $3! Price aside, everything was just as I remember from back East... so so good. No more late night trips after the bar to the taco / pizza place... I'm getting post-drunkin Dunkin. ;)

  • Cordy M.

The only reason I'm not giving one star is because I love the donuts. The service from the lay taking my order was great but the people who mage my coffee were rude. I wasnt the only person in line that had ordered coffee so when they called out, I thought it could be for someone before me. Then they stated to talk to one another about how it may have been made iced instead of warm... I spoke up and said that I had ordered one iced... The said literally "Then that's what we were calling out and you should listen for it if you ordered it"! RUDE! Now, this was my first time EVER at a DD so I thought that the lady getting my dozen donuts together, that I was still choosing BTW, would have them bring it to me? How do I chose donuts and listen for my coffee at the same time? Don't know if I'll be back.

As an east coaster, I've always had the standard love affair with dunkin, but my visit today changed that. I ordered a Texas toast grilled cheese and I got a texas toast egg and bacon. I'm a vegetarian so I made sure to say grilled cheese several times. We couldn't turn around so this was really frustrating. My roommate ordered a hazelnut iced coffee and there wasn't hazelnut in it. He also got a chicken biscuit and only had a few bites because it tasted like plastic. I know it's fast food, but it'd be good for it not to taste like defrosted plastic. Plus, we got hash browns and the portion size was nothing. All in all, a very disappointing trip, especially since I was really excited to have dunkin because I haven't been home in almost a year. Guess I'm only sticking to New England dunkins.

It's Dunkin Donuts. Come on. Like 90% of the other reviewers on here I am also an east coaster. I almost died when I found out DD was FINALLY coming back to Denver. The Springs is just too far to drive. We had three over 10 years ago and they all went away! It was insanity. Winchells, Krispy Kreme, Lamar... None can compare. And yes Dunkin is 100% in an East Coasters blood. Nothing tastes as good. You have to be East Coast to understand the obsession. And if we can bring you to our side, only awesomeness can come from it. Finally got to visit the first DD site today. Loved it. It was nostalgic. These people are damn busy. We spoke to one of the employees and they were saying they hadn't stopped working since they opened. I feel sorry for the employees but I'm hoping the money is pouring in! There wasn't a long line when I got there. We were lucky. But it wasn't dead by any means. I about peed myself when I saw that this location is 24 hours. Best news ever. I'm not sure I remember DD locations in Boston being 24 hours. But it made my day. Employees are great. They look like they are getting a hang of the madness. And they will probably not be drowning 24/7 once the other locations start cropping up. Regardless, I'm damn excited. Bringing Dunkin back! I want to watch the competition squirm. It gives me pleasure. And joy. Haha.

I'm originally from the East Coast, and they have these everywhere like 7-Eleven pretty much on every corner but out here it's a new thing so I think they need to get the machine Oil, The employees are very very nice but I think they need to communicate a little bit better for the big rush, I think in a few months it will turn out to be great but for now only three stars but I will be back

I am an East Coast transplant from Massachusetts and the first thing I always do when I go home is hit a Dunkin Donuts for a coffee. So I was pumped when this opened! The first time I came here, which is located off of Broadway it was smooth sailing inside - snagged a caramel iced coffee and a box of K-cups and off I went. Service was prompt and friendly. Fast forward to Friday of the same week; it was a complete 360 unfortunately. First, it was 6:45 am and there was already a line inside. People were VERY antsy and irritated and some were walking out without anything. There was 1 register open, a crammed drive through, 1 person on donuts and another re-stocking. Then there was a Manager on coffee and the rest of the staff was making sandwiches, etc. I initially was going to get a Box O'Joe and 25 Munchkins. No such luck. They were sold out of Munchkins and I figured the box of coffee would take too long, so 4 coffees it was. A man in front of me was quite heated and got into a verbal argument with one of the workers because, god forbid, they were out of Cruellers. I was patient and most of the people were - however a lot of people were giving the staff lip and complaining. Yes, they may have been understaffed but they all kept their cool and were friendly and still smiling. It is fun to go in there and start conversations with others to find out that some are also from back East and share the same love for DD. I will absolutely come back here but give the popularity to die down. Thanks DD for bringing me a piece of home!

I'm from Massachusetts, so I was elated when I heard there was a DD opening in Denver. I waited a couple weeks after opening, so the lines wouldn't drive me crazy. The organization in this place is appalling. One person is asking me about my donuts while another is asking me about my drink, interrupting each other with their questions. Huge surprise - they got my donuts and my drink wrong. So when I told the girl handing me my drink that it was supposed to be with milk, and not black, you would think that she could figure out that all she had to do was pour some milk in. Nope. I had to ask her to pour some milk in just so she would stop staring at me as if I asked her the square root of 4761. Once I finally got my drink and donut, the taste was just as I remembered from back home, but the dryness made me wonder how fresh it really was. I really hope Dunkin sticks around in the area, but now I'm starting to wonder if this is the reason that others have failed. It doesn't really compare to the fast-paced, accurate customer service of the east coast stores. Pick it up, guys, and I am sure you will do well.

After waiting 45 minutes they still managed to screw up my order. They only got one donut right out of 3. Also they gave me really sloppy ugly donuts.. that had frosting all over the bag....... / east coast does it better, don't waste your time

Love my dunkin donuts haven't had them since I moved from CT. So I was totally stoked and went overboard ordering coffee, doughnuts and a breakfast sandwich. Yum! And the best part was that the lady at the register was so rude!!! They must have transferred her from the east coast to open the store! Lol I'm going again today even tho it's 9 miles away!

I was not a fan of DD after my 1st experience in New Mexico. However my man is a diehard DD fan so we went to the newest DD. This trip was our 3rd since the 2 previous times the line was crazy. My man wanted a special type of donut and they were out. The manager was so gracious and gave my man some donuts while he waited to see if there were any being baked. I got 2 Bavarian cream donuts AND they were amazing. They ended up not having his donut but they were so patient and helpful, so it was a win in the end. I am in interested in some of their breakfast sandwiches but kinda creeped out about tuna salad or roast beef from a place that's all about donuts. I can say that their donuts were way better than New Mexico and I'm a fan!

OK SOOOOOOOO let's start with the fact that I adore Dunkin very much I really do so I was really excited when they opened this one. BUT the lines have been so so so long we waited what seemed like FOREVER to go by...taunting me as I would drive by for days "some day the lines will be shorter" I try to comfort myself...it fails. Finally the line one day was not so long... The drive threw kinda blows because you have ot know what kinda donut you want without seeing what they have so that sucked, the bad news is it's a guessing game if you don't go in. The even worse news is - they are out of what we want. FRICK! Alright well we picked something else out. We sat and sat and sat waiting for whatever the jerk in front of us ordered (turns out it was some kind of iced coffee, really how long can that take?!) Our donuts were good and the coffee was good but the wait...not sure it was worth it. Hopefully they get it together.

Been here a few times because it's on the way to work, but the lines in the drive thru during rush hour move way too slow. I read this place is owned by a retired race car driver. He needs to get his pit crew in order, speed is the number one complaint I've read. Have to agree, the donuts here aren't better than supermarkets. I can run in, grab a couple and be gone. That's my plan for Friday, Dunkin' is okay. P.S. Sad to read their late night situation sounds like a loser. With winter coming up, it would be nice to have a cafe where I could sit with friends after a show or bar. There's another 24-hour donut house just south of I-25 on Broadway where the seating area is open and warm and the donuts are just as good.

It's a nice home in place the hash browns are awesome! Coffee is great I just wish they had more coffee creamer flavors half nd half is so old school I need vanilla or mocha!! Donuts are average.. Donuts are cold they should be warm not the weather temperature.

I LOVE Dunkin Donuts but I'll never ever buy the ham and cheese sandwich ever again. They need a lesson on fresh rolls as is their donuts. Then I call to let them know about their stale roll and the phone number is a fax number. Get it together Dunkin Donuts. I used to Love the place.

If you are a New Yorker, the opening of a Dunkin Donuts in Denver at long last is like a little slice of heaven landing in our laps. In comparison to NY locations, it is sparkling clean and friendly, and there are no panhandlers asking for your spare change outside. It tastes just the same, and the coffee is reliably light (milk with a splash of coffee). Now, for those of you who are Krispy Kreme southerners, who like your donuts sugary and dense, you won't have the same nostalgic feelings. These DD donuts are lighter, like their coffee. Service is great, location is pretty central and in a hip spot. Winchell's is just down the street too...Let the donut wars commence!

  • Colleen M.

Love love love my dunkies! Moved here from Boston and this just opened up next to my office! Couldn't be happier!!!! I will say that I have gotten a few stale donuts here, which being east coast I'm not used to happening. Other than that it's business as usual!!

  • Linda K.

I have made the trip here twice and both times have been disappointed - they did not have very many donuts in the case and the ones they do have out aren't labeled so you don't know what they are without having to ask. The answer they give is "Oh, we have more in the back." So you ask for something that isn't in the case to see if they have it in the back and are greeted with a blank stare. There is no reason why the case shouldn't be fully stocked and labeled correctly at all times. The first time we went, we got Bavarian cream filled (from the back) only to get home and find out they had no actual filling in them. I know they just opened, but seriously, it shouldn't be this hard to get donuts! Things would move a lot more quickly if they would just stay organized!

I called to place an order and they asked me to hold on. I waited for 7 minutes listening to the background noise of the store. I hung up to call back and the line is busy. It has been busy for over an hour now. In addition the phone number listed on this yelp listing is the fax number!!! Really?

Being a native New Yorker, Dunkin Donuts was a staple coffee and donuts shop. We headed over to Dunkin Donuts the day after opening day and the line was still very long! The coffee and donuts were as authentic as I remember them being. I look forward to seeing more of them around town.

This place is new and has a huge following so it gets a pass on the long wait (20 minutes for half dozen donuts). The staff seems to be getting a system down as the line moved steadily. I must say the donuts were very standard, grocery store quality, nothing to write home about or wait in line for. Coffee was good.

  • Cortney W.

As an east coast native and Denver transplant I have been counting down the opening for a year. This morning when I got there the large crowd was in great spirits. The staff was passing out munchkins to all who were waiting. I brought in donuts and munchkins to my Coloradan co-workers and they are all hooked. Each agreed it was the best donut they ever had. Thank you Dunkin for opening.

I'll always love you DD, but I really just want my order to be right one time I go through through the drive thru. I don't think veggie cream cheese is that complicate can order. I will keep going back because I waited so long for you, DD, but maybe this could be a more successful relationship moving forward?

This place is always a disappointment regarding the drive-thru. I ordered for my sick wife a croissant breakfast sandwich received the most bland if bagels. Their is no quality in any of the food Dunkin Donuts makes or serves as their was a brown hair in her sandwich as well. A side of hash browns consists a couple of little rounds apparently. Crap! The manager was sarcastic regarding my complaints. Thanks Katherine. Monkeys could manage to complete an order better than the persons hired to run this circus.

Thank you Dunks for finally opening a location in Denver! Makes this Boston native a happy person. Cheap & delicious (yes, they can go together) coffee & donuts. People working behind the counter is friendly, ample parking, and good variety. For some mysterious reason, there's always one or two cops at this place.

    (5)
  • Bob B.

Tasty coffee and good donuts. I just wish they always had a large variety when I went. Large French vanilla regular cream and sugar not much is better than that. If your from New England have patience with them they are still getting used to how people order.

    (5)
  • Nam V.

Their coffee with cream and sugar is one of my favs. This location is efficient if you're only coming for donuts and coffee. As for anything else like a sandwich or simply pulling a plain croissant off the shelf and handing it over.....you can wait 10 min just for that...after reminding an employee they forgot it. Months have gone by since opening and there is much to be improved.

Hi There, I like many am a relocated Massachusetts person living in Colorado. I have grown up with this company and over the last 4 years..the only thing that sustained my yearning for DD, was weekend trips to Colorado Springs to grab a tasty (best) cup of joe from any of the 3 locations that have been there for the last 50 years. Yes, they celebrated year 50 in Colorado Springs this year. I went to opening day and that was an adventure, but an east coast reunion for sure. Each time I have been back the lines have got more and more smooth. I do feel bad, for any folks that have gotten miscued orders (again they are new to it, and not a well oiled East Coast Machine), but Mine has been perfect every time, and I believe I have been there about 8 or 9 times since open. I will end by saying that more stores are on the way (28 more over the next 5 years). I know that Boulder has a coming soon, there will be one by Smoky Hill High School (old Armando's) in Aurora, and Lakewood & Thornton as well, have coming soon sign's poppin up. I am hoping for one on the 16th street mall...hopefully someday... Thank you kindly, Jarrod

Waaaaah! I want D.Donuts but the line is constantly tooooo looong!! We went three different times today thinking the crowds would subside. There were at least 100 people in line each time. Makes me wonder - just what kind of powder are they sprinkling on those donuts???

So great that DD has finally opened in Denver!! It's just the first week so it's a little nutso. But the staff is kind and the owners have been there 24/7 (almost!) and it's going great!! Welcome to Denver!!

I'm visiting from NJ where we have a DD every mile or so, so it's funny to see people go bananas over this place. Rightfully so since DD rocks! Thy are doing a great job considering the volume they are dealing with! They got my order wrong but fixed it without charging me the correct (and more expensive price). Kudos!

There is a reason why Dunkin in the king. Dunkin is the best thing to happen to Denver since the Blue Bear. Their coffee is umm okay but I don't go here for the coffee, I go to Starbucks for coffee. I come here for DONUTS!!!!!!!!! Love it!!!! Can I get some Muchkins? YEAH!!!!

  • Jay A.

Okay, please understand, I love Dunkin' Donuts. I have loved the Dunks since I was a kid, so having to write this review was tough for me. The experience as a whole wasn't too bad, but unfortunately the Downtown Denver Location does not have many redeeming qualities. First thing is first let's talk about the Pro's of the restaurant. The coffee is always spot on, but make sure to buy the regular coffee, not the new flavors. The chocolate doughnut is disgusting and if you use it in your coffee pot at home, good luck getting that stench out of your coffee pot. It kind of smells like generic chocolate and gross. The staff during the day seem to really care about you. One day I ordered a Box O' Joe, which is a box of coffee that serves about 12. When the Dunkin' associates was filling up the box of coffee the pot ran out, so he decided to make a new pot for me and fill the rest of the box to the top. The manager stopped the associate and said, "You can't mix coffee like that, because you will ruin the mixture and the coffee will taste wrong", I like the fact that they cared enough to give me a superior product even though it would have been easier to just mix the coffee. Unfortunately, Dunkin' is in high demand in the mornings so the real good doughnuts like crullers and Boston Cremes are sold out, but on the upside you can call in advance and order the doughnuts you want, so just call about 2-3 hours ahead, and they will more than likely get the doughnuts you want. The price is pretty cheap compared to their competitors such as Lamar's and Voodoo Doughnut, but the fact that the doughnuts are flash-frozen you shouldn't pay more than 5.99 for a dozen. I mean Safeway makes their doughnuts on site every morning and they only charge 5.99 (as of 2013). Dunkin' still charges 7.99 as of my last purchase of a dozen (as of Oct 2013) Even though there are some pros, the cons list is much longer. First, the parking lot is terrible. There are two different entrances, one from a side street and one from the main road Broadway, making it difficult to know who has the right of way. The drive through usually gets that bottle neck action because you have one set of cars coming off Broadway and one set of cars coming from the side street, so everyone is fighting to get in line. Fortunately there is one alternative to the drive through, which is parking in the lot; here is the problem, if you try to park you are still contending with the traffic from the drive through while trying to find a space and avoiding the homeless pedestrians or the random customers that are walking in between cars in the parking lot. The parking lot is always a death trap, for example, one time I drove in at 2:30 in the morning through the Drive-thru, I placed my order of coffee and doughnuts and when I pulled around the bend to go up to the window I noticed a truck had lost control and crashed sideways in to the Dunkin' drive through, which in turn blocked me and other pedestrians from going forward. There was no one in the truck and unfortunately I had to back out of the drive through and go back around through the narrow drive to get out. Lucky for me there was no one behind me. I called inside explained what happened and asked if they could bring my food out to me, they said no. I then asked if I can go in to the doughnut shop and they said no. So with MacGuyver-like procession, I backed in the wrong way of the drive through to the drive through window to get my doughnuts and coffee. I was complimented for my intuitive thinking and the Dunkin associates started suggesting to other patrons to follow my lead and drive in backwards, the only problem with this logic is what happens when there is more than one patron, who will coordinate all the vehicles? Next con is the Dog-Nuts, (that's just a nickname I have for them), are not made fresh and you never know which ones they will have ready, so again call in advance if you want a certain doughnut. Next con, the staff at night are rude and don't care about your business. They just want your money, and if you have a problem with anything the response of the staff is usually, "go somewhere else." I would like to remind the associates of Dunkin' that they were in Denver when I was kid in the 80's and Lamar's and Winchell's beat them out of the state. So please, don't think that you are so irreplaceable. If you want a Dog-Nut, from Dunks just go to the one by the airport. If you live in Aurora, Its just as quick as going to the one in downtown Denver, plus it's quick and you will usually get the doughnut you want. I gave this Dunks 2 stars because the Coffee is awesome, but you can make it at home, cheaper. Plus, they still use Styrofoam, if McDonald's doesn't use it, neither should you. I really think nostalgia is what makes people give the 5 stars. My wife did say the bagel sandwiches were good, but they are nothing that spectacular. In summary, get the coffee and buy your doughnut elsewhere

First off, this review isn't changing the fact that I'm still going to frequent Dunkin. Like so many others, I'm a New Englander, and it'll always be worth it to have a slice of home. None of my orders have been incorrect, and the people are always courteous, so those aren't my gripe. However, I do have to say the focus this store has on its donuts is slightly backwards. I worked at a Dunkin for 2 years in high school before I got into my current profession, and I have to say that the reason the company thrives is its coffee. My food items should not be coming out before my coffee, so this process should definitely be improved. Otherwise the inside decor is cute, and it seems like business is less busy and more steady now.

I go to the drive-thru and order a grilled cheese with bacon. I pull up to the window and wait for 5 minutes. A goofy looking woman opens the window and asks if I'm waiting for something. I want to say - No. I just enjoy sitting here. Instead, I just nod. Grilled cheese? she asks. I nod. She closes the window and eventually comes back and hands me a bag. Grilled cheese? she asks. As if she's still not sure. I nod. I drive away and look in the bag. There is a grilled cheese with no bacon. In fact, there's barely any cheese. Just the thinnest afterthought layer. These people are idiots.

Had my first Dunkin Donut in Colorado Springs in 1973. (Where else do you go during college at 2 am on a Saturday night after...) Been waiting years for the store to return to Denver. My wife flies often to Milwaukee and Chicago on business and brings back two chocolate glazed donuts to feed my habit (& I hit the stores in Colo Springs 1 or 2 times a year), so I know what they should taste like. Visited the new store in central Denver for the first time today. Was planning on getting a half-dozen, mostly chocolate glazed. But they looked funny, so I bought just two. Smart move. Just ate one and it was awful. Way too fluffy. Did not have the density or texture of a true Dunkin Donut chocolate glazed; worse than a supermarket imitation. After all these years of waiting, big letdown!

Yay! Dunkin Donuts in Denver! I went and got a coffee, and it was made East Coast style, loaded with cream and sugar... not kind of sweet, spoon stand up straight kind of sweet. Yum! I'm still looking for a gluten free doughnut from them.

Just to be clear - I LOVE Dunkin Donuts. My boyfriend is from Boston and we have routinely made the drive to Colorado Springs for some donuts and an iced coffee, so i was stoked that the store opened in Denver and was there on opening day. That being said, this location is terrible. It has now been a couple weeks and I have been there probably six times, and the service and quality of the food has actually gotten worse. The drive through is painfully slow even when there is no line and i have yet to get to the window and have them remember what i ordered. It usually takes so long that my iced coffee is already mostly melted by the time i get it, and half the time the donuts are stale beyond belief. I really hope they open a new location soon and actually train their employees this time, because right now it just sucks that this is the only location.

I went in about 635 am. Waited online for 20 minutes. Only one register was open yet the line was out the door (people tired of waiting and left and wish I had as well) I placed my order and they're out of French crullers. I request a refund and asked why only one register was open. I'd asked this question before this visit and was told it wasn't a peak time and a second register would be open at 7. Today I was told there is a staffing shortage (both times it was Michael the shift leader saying this). The cashier tells Michael and his first question is "Did I pay". Then he asks how and my credit card was sitting right on the counter. He proceeds to fling the refund receipt at me and then puts his hand up to his face palm facing out essentially telling me to talk to the hand. Rude and unprofessional. If this is the display of leadership and professionalism Dunkin Donuts is putting forth then one star ratings will be common. I am from the east coast and have never encountered this at any location I've entered back there. I called the corporate office in addition to filing a review on their website.

I'm done with this location. There shouldn't be more kinks to be worked out. Open over a year? Have your stuff together. I ordered the smoked sausage breakfast sandwich (which is still on the menu above the line), paid, and waited... & waited... all while hearing "that was a f-#k up order" repeated over & over by an employee that was dressed in see through leggings (I could not only see her thong but make out the color) before I was finally told they no longer carry the item I ordered. I was given a refund, however the situation should not have happened. I'm over it.

Kudos to the management for maintaining a clean place and having a lot of available donuts every time I went here. It was such a good thing that you have ready my favorite donuts before I went here. It was really a big satisfying feeling when you saw that those massive tasty burgers are available. They also have this different flavors of sweet munchkins that would really make you feel like eating a lot more when you had one. Great as usual but they have this bad service which pulls them down. They definitely need to do something about it before they started losing customers.

Bummed that I have to leave one star for this place. I have NEVER had such an awful experience at any food establishment in my life... Or taken the time to write a bad review... But there's a first for everything. Staff was obviously in no rush to get food out to its drive thru patrons, as we were stuck in line for 13 minutes. If I had thought that it was simply a matter of the employees dealing with a difficult customer ahead that was holding things up, that would be one thing. But when we finally got to the window no one greeted us, and we sat for an additional 4 minutes staring at two workers just having a casual conversation. What's worse, the manager was walking around in an absolute daze as though he had no idea what to do, let alone put bagel sandwiches into a bag. Killin' it, guy. To add insult to injury they dumped hash browns all over the food into the bag, didn't cook the sausage on one of the sandwiches, and gave us really really watered down coffee. I wish this was a joke people, but it looks like I'll be dining on bottom-of-the bag hash browns for breakfast and buying coffee elsewhere.

2 stars just for the name. But this branch is horrible. Drive through line is INSANE and after waiting for 15 min you can't drive away bc u get stuck in the line bc they have the exit blocked off. The order takers don't know the menu at all (jelly donut stuck?? Took 5 min to explain) and are just incompetent!!! I was at the point where I ordered n the guy was an idiot and I would've driven away if they didn't block you into the drive thru lane. I can't believe I'm leaving this review lol of donuts but that's legit how bad my experience was. Btw after all of that, stale donuts

Came to pick up doughnuts for work, and ordered 2 25-piece orders of Munchkins- one chocolate, and one regular, and a bacon wake-up wrap. Got to the window, and was handed one box of Munchkins and no wake-up wrap (and the amount on the digital screen was wrong, but I didn't ask to speak to the manager, as it was the early morning rush, and I didn't want to hold up the line). I ordered, paid for, and waited for my wake-up wrap, and was told repeatedly that both orders of Munchkins were in the one box. Not wanting to be rude to the girl at the window, I didn't open and check right in front of her. Of course, there was only one order of Munchkins when I arrived to work. Over the course of the next two days, I tried to call this Dunkin location 10+ times with no answer any of the times. I also filed a complaint on my receipt's survey, and heard back from Dunkin' corporate that they would forward on my complaint to the manager of this location, but I have heard nothing. (this incident occurred nearly two weeks ago now) Obviously, the $4.99 is not that huge of a deal, and I can live without it. If it hadn't been for the employee at the counter so adamantly telling me that there were, in fact, two orders, I wouldn't be as upset. In addition, if I had been able to get a hold of the manager through the phone, OR if I had heard back from him/her regarding my complaint, I wouldn't be posting this on Yelp. However, I feel that others need to know to avoid this location, and I want the manager to see this review and know that I haven't forgotten about the crappy customer service I received, and that I will never be visiting this location again.

The first time we tried to go here it was late at night and they were out of nearly all the donuts. The next time we went there we were able to get donuts but we took a couple bites and spit them out because they tasted like plastic!!!! Seriously, these things are NASTY......

Drove out of my way for a coffee this morning. Needed it! Ordered a hot black coffee, and further clarified no cream or sugar. I finally got to my office, across town to discover they gave me both cream and sugar. I still need coffee. Fail

The cashier was upset when I asked him to change gloves before he put his hand in my bag... Wasn't surprising when he asked why? It's a shame we waited so long for Dunkin Donuts to come back to Denver to see the lack of training a people in the store. Lord knows you always ask of that guy about the donuts and trust me this fat guy says this place is a pigsty.

  • Allie R.

Dunkin.. I hope you can get your s**t together. There are 20 people waiting in line and you only have one frazzled cashier? I felt bad for the girl, she was obviously trying to do the best she could. Both times I've been in, I haven't gotten the sandwich I ordered. And last time the manager was making it. One pro: coffee was good both times. I hope in a couple months this can be as good as one of the east coast dunkin donuts. If you stop by in the next few weeks don't expect much.

On my first visit, I went inside hoping it would be faster than waiting in the drive thru line. I was painfully mistaken. I think the employees were working very hard and it was more so the fault of the customers that were taking an exceptionally long time deciding what they wanted. They were full on sampling different coffee flavors and EVERYTHING. I guess that's what happens when neighborhood were previously barren to D&Ds. The very next day, however, I gave the drive thru a shot and at 10am on a Saturday they were already out of the French Vanilla Swirl (cue my heartache). That seemed a bit odd, that they would run out of something that they are advertising on TV and had a sign on the counter the day before when I was in the store asking their customers to try. You would think they would make every effort to ensure they were well stocked up for this hot new item. Nevertheless, I ordered the hazelnut swirl instead which they said they still had - ok - no problem. Upon receiving it I noticed it was very dark in color, looking like a regular iced coffee. Aha! Because it was a regular iced coffee. Since I noticed right away the clerk quickly and kindly added the swirl syrup and I was on my way. Everyone is very nice and it seems to just be a new branch working all of the kinks out. I am from the east coast and LOVE me some Dunkin, so let's support them and hope they get their act together soon.

One of the worst Dunkin Donuts I've ever been to - the franchise owner and company should be ashamed. 10 minutes in the drive thru (barely any customers inside) and they STILL got my order wrong. I also called the store to express my disgust with the service to the manager. They don't answer the phone, how nice.

I shop here everyday and the drive thru is constantly terrible. they make you wait over 10 minutes to be served. other than that the quality is pretty fair. I miss east coast dunkin.

I drive past this Dunkin daily and have never gone in, the Smoky Hill one is my main donut source. However, I needed a sugar infusion for one of my project teams and decided to stop off on the way into work. Since it is off 4th between Broadway and Lincoln it is busy, but relatively easy to get in and out. I went in at 7:15a one morning and easily parked and walked right up to the counter. They had tons of section and got me in and out. No complaints. The only thing negative I would note it sort of silly, but many of them were really sloppily frosted and didn't present well. While they tasted fine, they looked like a 5 year old frosted them. Oh well, all good otherwise!

I guess since I am not an "east coaster" I don't get the hype. Stale donuts are nothing to brag about. King Soopers has better donuts than this place. Coffee is good. Drive-thru takes forever but I guess that is a Dunkin' Donuts trademark too. All the new locations I've tried in Denver and Aurora have been a bust. Only decent experiences I have had is in the Springs near Fort Carson and the one on Pena and E-470. Havana and Tower locations are the worst offenders.

I wanted #200 to be special, and to me this is very special!!! I have had Dunkin Donuts literally all over the world Scranton, Berlin, Seoul, Manila, and Rome now they are once again in my back yard. Opening day, after just seeing a great show downtown we decided to just go for it. Well, it was more my decision since I was driving. Sitting in line...soooo happy I am about to have my most favorite donut ever. Oh Chocolate Glazed. ..How I have longed to have you closer. Now you are here...Welcome Back to Denver. Your drive in is open 24 hours as it should be!!! You are big and brightly light with plenty of parking. Unfortunately, you were closed inside (lobby 5AM to 11PM) but we could still peek in while we waited patiently to get to the "order here" speaker. We were sad to find you only really had glazed donuts, but a bright spot was your Muchkins were in ample supply!!! If I can't have a chocolate glazed, at least I can have a Chocolate Glazed munchkin! We also sampled the Pumpkin Munchkin. Just as good and lite. The staff was as accommodating as they could be opening day. Free coupon for Latté, a messed up order or two isn't that big of a deal. I am sure they weren't expecting a line around the block both inside and out for 16 hours straight. It's good to have you close.. But far enough away that you are still a special treat. I'll see you again soon! Oh yeah, they also have a decent selection of sandwiches, coffee drinks and other beverages. They sell Coffee by the bag and some Dunkin Donuts schwag as well. I go for the donut I love.... everything else is just icing. It's time to make the Donuts! This has been running through my head all day and takes me back to my childhood..... Dunkin Donuts... you can't buy them in a grocery store Dunkin Donuts...you can't get em in a bakeryyyy Dunkin Donuts.. They're not for sale in a resturantttt You gotta get em at Dunkin Donuts... It's worth the trip!

"Friend don't let friends drink Starbucks" Denver welcomes your amazingness! Wonderful, mouthwatering rings of dough that will surely just end up going straight to my love handles. But isn't a donut worth every bite? This new place was in amazing condition base on just the shear volume that was patiently waiting for their turn to step up order heaven in a box. That warm fresh dough was just what the doctor ordered. Plus I could justify ordering an extra one because my dog loves donuts as well. No side of guilt please! What is a donut without a cup of black coffee? Just a donut, hold the coffee right? I remember my father taking me to the doughnut shop when I was a kid and there was always some older man sitting at the bar eating his donut and drinking black coffee, most likely smoking a cigarette as well. This place does lack a bar there you can be served at but those days have passed with our current pace of life. If you are having a bad day or just in the mood I would recommend a donut. I have never seen a person crying while eating a donut. Enjoy!

This place is absolutely awful. I'm thinking it probably is all of Dunkin, but can't confirm that for sure. The coffee is terrible, the donuts are so bad they are essentially inedible. I would not recommend going to Dunkin for anything. Try Lamar's, Voodoo, Daylight, and/or the Donut Maker for a good donut in Denver. Nearly anywhere else has better coffee so no need to list competitors.

This review is strictly for the donuts. I hit the drive thru at 10am on sunday and got through in about 2 minutes with a friendly greeting, one star awarded for service. That was the only positive. The only reason Dunkin must be surviving here is the legion of east coast transplants that don't know what a fresh donut tastes like. I paid $9 for a variety dozen of dry, crumbly, tastelss crap that tasted 3 days old. I don't know how far the dunkin factory is, but to not have fresh donuts on a weekend morning is unaccepable. Safeway and King Soopers sell FRESH donuts for $6 a dozen or $3 for day old, and the fresh ones are definately better than what I was served. Lamars and Waltons may be a couple bucks more, but at least they are good.

I like their new sugar cookie ans snicker doodle lattes. Vanilla creme and chocolate creme the best. But ok this visit the cashier did not ring up my order correctly. I asked for latte hot got it cold. Asked for 4 donuts only got 2. They did nothing to really rectify. Or say just keep the other 2 donuts. Usually service is great

Meh. It's Dunkin' Doughnuts. Hit or miss whether the doughnuts are fresh or not. Some variety, sometimes not depending on the time you go in (The supply in the evening can be scarce). They do have adorable heart shaped doughnuts on Valentine's Day, which earns the second star for my review.

If this location wasn't so convenient, I wouldn't have given it a second, third, fourth, or fifth chance. I want to have hope that this franchise would improve over time but since opening, I have experienced some of the worst customer service in my existence. From the long wait in the drive thru or inside, to the constant incorrect orders, this Dunkin Donuts makes for a less than desirable experience. When the employees who represent this company are overly rude to their customers since day 1, it makes it extremely hard to possess any sort of optimism that this can improve. Seriously guys, get it together.

Don't cha just love knowing your "fresh" donuts are sitting outside? Edit: as someone else mentioned, these are premade donuts that they just pop in the oven and reheat. I used to work at Kings as a bakery clerk back then and they did this as well, except there were new donuts every morning. Yu may as well get your donuts at a grocery for a cheaper price, knowing that it was "freshly" taken out of the freezer that morning. Youd never know for DD's since they are a 24 hr place.

Just stopped here and what an experience - poor guy ahead of me couldn't get them to sub sausage for bacon. - took 10 mins for the guy to figure out how to order it and I asked for a dozen with only a couple of frosted (and explained with frosting on top) he tried to give me a box of almost all the same donuts. I noticed when leaving the guy making the errors was the shift leader! Take the extra time and go to Krispy Kreme or Voodoo donuts! This dunkin is a mess! Oh! And I ended up with half the donuts being frosted!!!!!

Another east coaster chiming in... My husband and I went at 11:40pm on a Friday night. Only the drive-thru was open and it was about 8 cars deep (the line snaking into the parking lot). I thought the people in front of us were being obnoxious and ordering one hundred thousand donuts, but it turns out the girl working the intercom was just incompetent. We pulled up, ordered 25 assorted munchkins and a raised donut with chocolate glaze and she asked my husband 3 times to repeat the order. She was also talking to her coworkers with her headset still on, so we couldn't tell if she was talking to us or not. Our order probably took 3 minutes to confirm which is a long time when you're in a drive-thru. She gave an apology and said, "We're slammed and there's only two of us working". I felt a little bad for being annoyed. Then we pulled up to the window and I CLEARLY saw six employees through the window. Don't make excuses when I can SEE how many people are working! Anyway, the donuts were DELICIOUS. The glazed are my favorite, followed by the chocolate. I thought the pumpkin munchkins were too sweet and cakey. It was nice to get a taste of home (even though I've been a Coloradan for over a decade). BTW, they don't have their donut flavors listed on their drive-thru menu, so just order what you want, and hope that they have it.

You would think they were giving out free donuts everyday. It is always so packed! I'm an east coast chick at heart so I am definitely a Dunkin fan. We did have a donut mix up when I visited the drive-thru once but I'm willing to overlook it for my DD Perks rewards. ha! I love the fact that there is a drive-thru. :)

The joy of having a donut place by your house is mitigated when they never have the donut flavor you want. I keep going back in the hopes that there might be a CHOCOLATE ICED DONUT. Negative. 6 visits. This isn't a rare flavor, people. I went this morning. 8:30 am on a Saturday. Chocolate iced in stock! I bought a dozen assorted with a couple of chocolate. Got home. No chocolate iced in the box. The level of ineptitude is mind boggling. I just realized I'm ranting about donuts. Lol

I'm only giving this place 1 star because I had to. This Dunkin is between my house and work, so I was super excited when this place opened. I moved here from Chicago, and Dunkin is a must in the AM. Where do I even start. Service is the worst. I go through the drive through, and I started to notice that I was sitting in line forever. I started to time my wait. No joke, 5 to 10 minutes sitting in a drive through. What can they possibly be doing? It's frozen dough they have to bake and then brew coffee. So, I thought I would still give it a chance and walk inside after sitting in the drive through for 2 weeks straight for over 5 minutes. I walked in to a shit show. I tried to order a dozen donuts for staff at work, and the girl told me that she's currently putting donuts into a box for another customer and that it would be a while for me to get 12 donuts. Great job selling your products.... I grabbed a coffee and left. Yesterday was the last time I'll ever go to this location. Like an idiot, I went through the drive through. I ordered one coffee and took it to work. I drank the whole thing in about 20 minutes, and started to get a really bad caffeine headache. You know, the kind you get when you DON"T have caffeine? The person working the drive through gave me decaf. I'm assuming based on the typical shit storm that goes on behind the counter, that they ran out of regular, and tried to pass a decaf on me. Never again. Save time and your sanity and go across the street to Einsteins. That place is fast!

While I may be a Walton's Donuts devotee, I am over the moon that Dunkin Donuts is back in Denver! Gone are the days where I'd make the trek down to the Springs for a fix. (No joke, I've done that a few times.) I visited our newest DD during the first few weeks of its opening, and amazingly, it wasn't that painful. Sure, it was busy, but the wait wasn't too bad and the staff were top notch and patient. I'd imagine that the craziness has died down a smidgen now that DD has been open for a couple of months. While I can no longer drink coffee, I have sampled the icy fruit drinks and some teas here and both have been delicious. And of course, the donuts are still finger lickin' tasty! Just writing this review makes me want some donuts. I guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend!

Moving to Denver from NYC, one thing I was missing is DD...I am glad that they improved their supply chain issues which can allow more DD store to open in CO. Love the Boston cream, Egg-n-cheese croissant and the best is the hashbrowns...The staff has been good so far and the cleanliness has been good too...

CUSTOMER BEWARE: Disgusting, unkept bathroom with dried urine all over the toilette, urine all over the floors, looks neglected for the entire day at a minimum. A reflection of the hygeine of that of the staff, and for that reason I recommend that no one ever buy and consume donuts from this facility. If a health inspector were to make a surprise appearance, this place would most certainly be shut down.

As a former East Coaster, I grew up on Dunkin Donuts. Obviously, I was elated when I heard the news that there would be one and a half dozen new DD stores in the Denver metro area by the end of 2014. This location is on a convenient corner of Broadway. I first visited around 2:00 p.m. on a Monday and there only a few people waiting in line as well as a few cars at the drive thru. The shelves were well stocked so I had lots of choices for my half dozen. Mr. P. later reported that the sour cream donut he ate was "as stale as could be" but we agreed that the other five were fresh and delicious. I even managed to save two for breakfast the following morning. Maybe the amount of chocolate glaze has decreased over the years but, otherwise, the donuts are just as yummy as I remember them. Are there better donuts out there? Of course! But there's just something about a Dunkin Donut that makes me happy. I'm so glad they've come to town!

Finally - after 10 years, denver gets a dunkin donuts back in town! Woot! I did the unthinkable - i went on opening day. I went after dinner (it also happened to be our anniversary - talk about romantic - smirk) figuring that the crowds would have subsided. The line still snaked inside the store and to the door - it was out the door when we left. Kudos to the staff for keeping the line moving - from what i can tell the entire day - great job. Donuts were as i remembered - or well remembered from my most recent visit to one - back in the day there was more glaze, but the sweetness is just fine now! It's probably best that it is south of downtown, so its harder to get to. Glad they have returned to denver!! yeah!!

Every Friday I get donuts for work. Usually I go to the LaMar's near my house. However, 80% of our employees are from the East Coast, so yesterday they insisted I go to DD. And so I hopped in line at 7:20 am. The line, while long and out the door, went quickly. I was up at the counter ordering 2 dozen by 7:35, and was out the door after receiving my coffee at 7:40. They had a full selection though the quantity of each was small. Since I'm not a DD fan I just asked the girl to give me a good mix. Kudos to the staff for keeping everything running smoothly with smiles on their faces. So how were the donuts? Well, I had 1/2 Pumpkin Cake Donut. It was fresh, soft and it was tasty. Although I couldn't detect the pumpkin, it just tasted like an orange colored spice cake. I could take it or leave it. The rest of my office raved about them, but again they are all from the east coast. My coffee was good, but not as good as I remember. Will I return? Not for personal consumption. I honestly think we have better donut options here in Denver. I personally like LaMar's and hands down, Walton's is the best. But my coworkers are fans so once the lines die down, I may get our Friday donuts from there once in a while.

20 minutes for two dozen donuts. Second in line, when I ordered I was immediatly met with "its going to be a while, I'm the only person up front" -At the time there was one person behind me, then 2, 3- 4 etc. I watched as everyone got food, donuts coffee etc, and when I was asked by another employee what I was waiting for, donuts, the cashier immediatly responded with, "Im the only one up here...." as she handed a gentleman 2 dozen donuts. Really? The donuts are great, the coffee is great, but it has to be the absolute worst service in the area. It's premaid donuts in a box, they are right behind you, this shouldn't take TWENTY minutes.

Definitely it is worth the wait. Glad Dunkin Donuts is back in Denver. The Wait in the DT line wasnt bad. It was expected they couldnt keep up with the demand on the first day and only had glazed donuts unless you wanted to wait for others to finish being baked. Which I some how think the Cars behind you wouldnt like that so much. Chocolate Donut holes are so worth the wait at 11pm in their chocolatey fresh goodness. You can definitely tell its a new store and new staff. Let it die down so they can work out the bugs and the ordering system. Its great that its close to downtown. And the sandwiches I seen on the menu look Oh So Tasty.

Starbucks wins again! Walked out of Dunkin' again this morning. Line to the door and one register. When are they going to get that not everyone wants something to eat and just want a cup of joe?

I'm not a donut purist or anything, nor have I sworn my undying allegiance to one particular brand. I guess I'm an independent in the donut political spectrum. This location is the shiny new first Dunkin in Denver since dinosaurs ruled the earth. It's very nice, very clean. The staff is always super friendly. Go get some munchkins.

Worst Dunkin Donuts ever!!! After a year in operation, they still don't have their shit together! If you're looking for DD's most popular donuts, Bavarian creme, Boston creme, and plain glazed, they're probably out of them, and they won't make more (even though it's a 24 hour store). How could such a well established chain have a store that's so badly run?! I'm from the east coast, so I've been to many DDs. I've never encountered one like this! No wonder it was totally empty inside! Such a disappointment!!!

Sunday afternoon, walked right in and orderd two donuts and walked out. Place was busy but no waiting at this time. 24 hour drive thru. Friendly staff, shelves were fully loaded. Give four star for this donuts joint. We missed you DD for last 20? some years. Now I don't have to be a weirdo taking pics of DD when im at the East coast. Who remembers one near GWHS or one near Havana/Exposition?

This was actually my second time to this Dunkin Donuts. The first time I was there was for the grand opening. It was crazy busy so I left. I visited on a Thursday morning at 6:45am and the line was still long. The people that took my order were really kind and quick. The problem is that they were out of the first three items I ordered! The iced coffee that I ordered was not very icy and didn't have enough sweetner. I will return but I will wait til it calms down a little.

I guess I'm either terminally stupid or the ultimate eternal optimist. Sweet tusk was talking to me and I thought to myself - well, you've only been once right after they opened surely they'll have things down by now. Wrong - took a good 10 minutes to get through the drive-thru and I was the only car there. I just wanted a couple of donuts for the love of Pete. And, they were stale as hell. The chocolate frosted raised tasted like the stuffing out of an old pillow. Fool me once shame on you . . . yadda yadda - I'll not be shamed again.

Wow, talk about the worst donuts I've ever had. Their Boston cream donut was ok, but the rest of their regular donuts were awful. It was so over processed, tasteless dough with a minimal amount if frosting.

Dunkin- Your coffee is great but your service sucks butt! Everytime I order a dark roast coffee, i'm always overcharged and have to correct someone at the window. Today I pulled in your drive-thru was excited because I was able to order immediately but then... I had to wait 10 minutes for 2 coffees. No customers in the parking lot and I get to the window and see 10 workers frantic like the place is jampacked busy. Gotta be kidding me. You guys make Starbucks look like miracle workers.

In short...I am from Connecticut and I grew up with Dunkin....it's a New England thing for sure. I find their doughnuts to be extremely delicious. Their coffee is equally delicious, and it is the only coffee that I drink at home. In Denver, I think that we're pretty lucky because there are lots of good doughnut places like Dunkin', Lamar's, and others. I will just allllllways choose Dunkin' because to me they're a part of home, and they're the best!!!!

I waited for this store to open up,when I get here they are out of Bavarian cream powdered donuts. I'm given a chocolate filled powdered donut,Less than a teaspoon of chocolate is in this donut...wow ...what a disappointment..I go to many in Seoul., NY, La..this store located off of 88th and wadsworth. Needs to improve I hope it does ...so very disappointed

I was super excited when DD opened in Denver, as I'd missed their coffee. I often stop by this one on the way to work. However, if there is more than one car in the drive-thru, I drive on by, as the wait times are quite long. It is common to sit at the intercom for a few minutes before they take your order. That said, there are only a couple DDs in the metro, so a wait is perhaps unavoidable. And it generally seems worth it at that first sip of coffee.

Ryan is amazing. I work for a local catering company here in Denver and i called with an emergency for an event i was working. I needed donuts on the FLY. He was able to get me 16 DOZEN donuts ready for me on 20 minutes. He is a rockstar and i will send anyone i can to this location. You saved us Ryan, THANK YOU! !!

The taste of my childhood is back! I remember going to DD back when I was a wee one and getting their chocolate frosted donut every single time. As I aged, my tastes changed going from donuts to coffee but I will still kick it with a donut every now and then. So I moved to Colorado and found out the closest one was in Colorado Springs and any time I would go there, would have to stop for their iced coconut coffee and possibly their egg white flatbread sandwich which is now my go to item there. Then my co-worker told me that the one on Broadway finally opened up last week and I couldn't contain myself--I needed some DD coffee! I made a rookie mistake and went there on a Saturday morning when everyone else and their mom had the same idea, it was chaos and I counted 28 people in front of me in line. They have a drive through lane and spacious parking space which is nice but they need to plan better on the inside since there is only one door and only one register open....on a Saturday morning......on opening weekend. Not sure who the manager is but this was ridiculous, I've seen dead DD's with two people working the register so not sure what the deal was. It would be awesome if they had a separate line for people like me who don't want donuts, just a coffee or a sandwich because it would make things go a lot smoothly in my opinion. Of course I got stuck behind Beavis and Butthead who I think had never heard of the idea of a donut and was asking about every single one ( I was about to go all psycho aka Will Ferrell in Kicking and Screaming). I finally got to the register, ordered and Alex aka the only guy working a register was friendly and keeping cool. 10 minutes later I got my sandwich. I will come back here once the DD hype has died down and I have some more time and patience but I hope they work out the logistics of this location.

For the record, I'm already a big fan of DD. I love the donuts, I really love the coffee, so there isn't much doubt that I would be thrilled to have one a few blocks from my office. From the moment they hung the "coming soon" sign I was counting the days, anxious for the grand opening. Also for the record, I wasn't silly enough to try to visit the first week. I think they'd been open a few weeks when we finally stopped by, late on a weeknight, only after seeing there were no huge lines. This should be an easy 5-star review, but like the others I have to say that the service is what is really missing. Even though there were plenty of employees and not many customers, service was slow and having them try to pre-fill a bunch of orders before you could even get to the counter was just crazy confusing. We only got a half dozen, it shouldn't have been this complicated. Still, I'll forgive them and keep coming back. The donuts and coffee will bring us back again, and hopefully over time those service issues work themselves out. A five star product minus one star for the lousy service = an overly generous 4 star review.

Want a blast from the East Coast, make your way down Broadway to the first Dunkin Donuts location I've seen in this fair city in, it is hard to believe, decades. If you are a Dunkin fan, you will get what you are used to when you stop in. Donuts, coffee, breakfast sandwiches. The usual. I myself am still a fan of the Krispe Kreme donuts, but if I need something without driving to Lone Tree or Northglen, this does the trick.

This is how you DON'T want your morning started. You lose your football pool at work, requiring you to have to buy two dozen donuts. So you go to Dunkin Donuts for two dozen freakin donuts and a large coffee, leave said Dunkin Donuts to be followed out by a weird, possibly homeless guy who proceeds to tell you he was trying to open the door for you since both your hands were full. (even though he didn't even start walking out until the doors had closed behind me) All the while, this kind gentleman is holding his junk and explains he has a hernia and this seems to help. Dude, it's 6:15 AM, and I'd rather not be talking to a dude in the cold who's holding his junk. I just want to leave like two minutes ago. Anyhoo, the donuts are solid, not the best you'll encounter but good. The coffee is solid as well. I still don't get all the fuss with their coffee, but...to each their own I guess? Service was quite good and quick, considering it was butt early, freezing cold and had a line in the drive through already.

I'm not an east coaster, but, as a coffee addict I know good coffee. LOVE the coffee here, and might be mildly obsessed. We make trips to Meininger often for art supplies for work, so, clearly, we have to stop across the street for coffee. My favorite is the toasted almond, but hazelnut and even just plain also hit the spot.

Fail

    (1)

    (1)
  • Allie R.

Enjoy!

  • Reed K.

  • Elena V.

Glad they have returned to denver!! yeah!!

  • Amy M.

Love love love my dunkies! Moved here from Boston and this just opened up next to my office! Couldn't be happier!!!! I will say that I have gotten a few stale donuts here, which being east coast I'm not used to happening. Other than that it's business as usual!!

  • Bob B.

Tasty coffee and good donuts. I just wish they always had a large variety when I went. Large French vanilla regular cream and sugar not much is better than that. If your from New England have patience with them they are still getting used to how people order.

Dunkin disappointment! My experiences here since they opened in September: Lukewarm coffee "Out of" (muffins, breakfast sandwiches) Donuts not fresh Long wait times East coast Dunkins get it, Colorado doesn't. Sad.

YEAH!!!!
