First let me say I have very high standards for food as I have eaten in some of the best burger spots in the USA. My three stars a solely based upon the food and not the staff or management. As chili's is a chain restaurant, I have to consider the bigger picture here. I am a bit more supportive of local mom and pop places since the quality and care seem to take precedence over making a quick buck. This particular location I am growing more fond of each time I visit. On a positive note, really nice locals, come here every weekend. make friends. 2 for 1 beers all day every day. The food. Pretty hit or miss. I will say the burgers have come a long way. Very tasty and feels like they are using decent ingredients. Their table side guac is very fresh and made right. Then there are the thing that are not so good, their salsa is terrible. The chicken is uber processed and has no texture as well as fake grill marks. That queso skillet is basically dog food. There are some good fresh ingredients and some that are almost inedible.

Service wasn't good. We were left with no refills. They got 3 out of 4 of our orders wrong. Rewards kiosk didn't work. Kinda all around icky. But they do get some stars because the food did taste good.

I always love this location because it is close to the highway and they give dinner and a movie deals. The service and food are good.

Cant go wrong with the 2 for 20 deal. Was seated immediately. Our drinks came out fast and never went empty. My food came out great as I ordered it.

Ok, so this is a chain restaurant which is pretty self explanatory. The food is pretty sub par but it's decently priced for what you get. The reason for the 5 stars is the service. Every server I've had here is always friendly and attentive, and I love that every time I'm there a manager has always stopped by the table to see how our meal and service is. Melissa and Michelle are great managers and always making sure everyone's visit is comfortable and enjoyable. It's hard to find good service anymore but they're doing it right here.

First off, our server Leslie was awesome! She took great care of us. It was really nice for a Sunday afternoon and wasn't too crowded. We didn't have to wait to be seated Only complaint is it felt rushed to the bill.

I love Chili's but last week when I went there for dinner I was very disappointed to see the new menu that didn't include the grilled chicken Caesar salad! That's the only reason I went there! I asked the waitress, just to make SURE, she said they no longer have the dressing! Really?!? So your taking the salad off the menu because you no longer want to make the dressing? I didn't end up ordering anything and went somewhere else. PLEASE stop changing the menu!! Sincerely, very disappointed ex customer

Had their lunch fajitas and they were yummy! Smaller serving but same great taste for $8. (Includes a side salad) Our waitress was super! She did an exceptional job and our glasses were always filled! Restaurant was clean and modern looking. Sad that this location no longer serves sweet potato fries though! They need to bring them back!

Well, I was pretty much destined to visit this Chili's as my boyfriend's truck broke down on the freeway which happened to be right next to a Chili's. All we had to do was hop the fence and he could down his sorrows in a couple of margaritas for $6.49. What a deal! Kelly, our bartender, was so sweet and empathetic to our plight. My boyfriend's brother got 2 pints for $10. Not a bad deal either. Also, the chips and queso were quite tasty, too. We'll all be back again thanks to the great customer service, awesome drink specials and yummy food. Chili's really did its best to help us forget that we almost died on the freeway. Almost.

Location, Location, Location . . . That is the main reason to go to this Chili's. I used to like Chili's a lot more than I do now. Too many disappointing meals over the years cured me of that. However, I keep coming back to this particular Chili's. Why? Because it is right across the parking lot from the Continental Theater. If you are meeting up with folks before a movie, looking to grab a drink afterwards, etc, it is ever so convenient just to go here. Once you do, however, be prepared for some turbulence. Since it is right next to the theater, and one of the few restaurants of this type in this area, and also visible from I-25, it is always busy. Indeed, the wait to get a table here seems to be longer than at many much finer dining establishments. The bar is open seating . . . which is basically a free for all. Prepare for disappointment as your group of four looks around and sees eight different four-top tables being used by one or two people. On the plus side, the beer here is always cold, the margaritas are rather potent, and although the food is Chili's standard, it tends to be fairly well prepared and come out quickly.

Waited for 20 minutes at the bar without service. Maybe 10 other patrons at the bar. The host was the only employee to say a single word to us and smile.

Chili's is one of our go to "to go" places. The food is consistently good and they always get our order together really fast. Plus, I can order online. Their menu offers up something for pretty much everyone. They have joined a lot of other restaurants in offering more variety in sides other than just fries. My daughter can get mac & cheese with a side of mandarin oranges and that makes everyone happy. You can get slaw or a salad with most things too. Chili's has made a real attempt to offer legitimate low calorie options that actually taste good. For example, they have a steak served with steamed broccoli that comes in at 372 calories. Holy Cow! I can eat that and not worry about having a few of the chips and salsa my husband ordered. They have a chicken sandwich and a chicken wrap that both clock in around 600 calories and all of these menu items actually taste good. If you aren't counting calories there are plenty of tasty options. I think their burgers are darn tasty for a chain and they've added things recently like tacos and sliders that are all pretty good. Back a few years ago Chilis was just like all the other "bunch of crap on the wall" chains like Friday's, Applebee's, and Bennigan's - total crap. But while the others are still pretty much total crap (and I think Bennigan's is Benni-gone) Chili's has stepped it up and actually offers food I'm willing to eat *and* pay for.

I've had mixed experiences here, but the overall trend is good. Reliable food and appetizers...this is one of our go-to spots. Anytime we've had a complaint or issue, it's been corrected right away. One time, our food took forever to be delivered, and the waitress had already asked the manager to comp our appetizer for us before we even knew about it. Another time, one chicken strip was pretty nasty, so the waiter had a completely new plate brought out. We'll definitely continue to be regulars here.

Ordered to go and they did not include yr dressing for my salad. I had to drive another 20 min round trip because they didn't do there job. Once I finally got to my salad, it was the smallest I've ever seen from chili's, and the lettuce wasn't fully clean, had a dirt taste. I get the quesadilla explosion salad every time I eat here and I have NEVER been disappointed except at this restaurant. My boyfriend's asked for a burger medium, but it was very well done. Overall not a good experience and I will not return. I will still eat at chili's but will stick to the one on Colorado Blvd.

We love this place for a family night out so mom doesn't have to cook. There's something for everyone and yeah, the food is pretty standard fare but for a chain restaurant, this is one of the better ones. They always have deals if you're a member of the email program which sometimes saves us 40% off our bill. Wait staff has been good as well. We keep coming back because they haven't disappoint! The kids also give it four thumbs up (2 per kid). :)

I always avoided the Chili's chain - Fat Bastard wanting his baby back, baby back ribs was just disgusting. So that was 10 years ago and I started dating a fan of Chili's 4 years and I have to give it up to the fine folks at my favorite Chili's. Joyce is our favorite server, she is a Red Rocks concert fan like and always has a friendly smile on her face. They do cook up and send out an affordable and delicious menu of items. Tonight I had the salmon - with light seasoning - and it was delicious. Even though it is frozen - most items they serve do come in frozen including desserts - it really hit the spot. I am also a fan of the Baby Back, Baby Back ribs! So I am still with the girl that introduced me to Chili's, at least she has good taste in food.

yeah you can't beat the 2 for 20$ deal which is pretty good and you get your bang for the buck. For some reason its been getting more busy but I guess the deal is too good to pass up. Its your standard Chili's so if you haven't been to Chilis before well sucks to be you

I've been going to Chili's since the 70s (when it was at Tamarac Square in southeast Denver). Now I go for the kids. We used to go every day after high school to used to get the BEST (and possibly only) veggie tacos in town-- $1 a piece. (Add a basket of the great skin-on fries they USED to have, and that added $2 more of babysitting money.) Now they have nothing vegetarian except for salads without meat. Yip. They WILL make a $8 veggie taco plate but you have to specify the very limited options of veggies each time or you get...who knows what. Note to a very successful Chili's: Add a few vegetarian items (that aren't just on your low-cal/low cholesterol menu) and I can guarantee you'll see a spike in business. And P.S. How about better quality control? We've had lettuce that looks and smells like my granddad's old lace hanky...

I've always enjoyed Chili's but this specific location is amazing! I went to this location for the first time tonight with my mom who is allergic to many things. Upon arriving we were greeted and sat immediately,we had our drinks in front of us fast and when we were ready to order, our server noted my moms main allergy (tomatoes) and was willing to make sure that what we ordered did not contain her allergen. Unfortunately, the appetizer we wanted (spicy corn guacamole) contained tomatoes, however the Manager himself, Tracey H. came out to ask more about her allergies and he himself prepared a guacamole that she could enjoy and IT WAS AMAZING! I was blown away at the attentive service and understanding we recieved. The meal was great ( I got the Santa Cruz steak) and we enjoyed the rest of the time we were there! We will definitely be returning to this location again...and again...and again!

you know what for a chili's this was one of the nicer ones i've been to. i don;t tend to have great success with these kind of places but this one went well. a group of friends and i went in at the end of the dinner rush but we were still seated fast. we had a super friendly waiter and are food was cooked to order and came out hot and fast. over all if im in the mood for some chain food then i might just be coming back soon.

When I was a kid, i used to think going to Chili's and ordering the skillet queso was a dream come true. I've updated my tastes since then and after a visit to Chili's last night for the first time in at least two years, Ihave to say that I'm not impressed. They really lack in vegetarian items, unless you count a side of fries and a side of corn a good option. This location is really hidden behind the Regal Cinema on Hampden, so it's pretty forgettable for me. The service we had last night was ok. We arrived at 10pm (they close at 11pm) and our server, Jill, seemed irritated the entire time we were there. She wasn't very friendly and just said the bare minimum to us. When she dropped off our check after we were finished with our meal, she literally just dropped it on the table and left. Then when we paid, she brought back the receipts, and walked away. not a word was uttered about "have a great night!" or "thanks coming in!" So, this was probably my last visit to Chili's. Or at least this location.

On last Saturday, we headed to this place for dinner. Chilies standard chain restaurant, had lot of wall frames inside the restaurant. The waitress welcomed very friendly. They have ample seating area and service was fine. Ordered Smoky Chipotle Chicken Fajitas...grilled chicken with onions and bell peppers. Cooked perfectly and crispy onion strings on the top added much taste and also Fajitas were soft. Reliable for what you pay.!!! Closer to southmoor station and regal movie theaters

  • Kane P.

I used to love Chili's, but now its just ok. The one thing they have going for them is their guacamole burger, purty dang good (good portion of food and fresh guac). Otherwise, I got takeout the other night and the fajitas were mediocre - tasted like it came out of a microwave. The chicken looked perfect, but was kind of bland and the onions were soggy. As a plus, the service is always great.

And here we are again, don't know why I held out hope. Went to lunch with a friend. Our waitress sucked. Amanda couldn't have made it anymore apparent how bad she didn't want to be at work, never brought drink refills and didn't even clear away dirty glasses until we asked her to. Then she shorted my change. I wait tables- for gods sake it's not that difficult. Won't be back.

I ordered potato skins to-go and they were shriveled, dry, and burnt. I have worked in restaurants for over 10 years and would be embarrassed to sell food like that. My husband ordered boneless buffalo wings and he said they reminded him of the frozen tyson ones. We generally enjoy Chilis but I will not be ordering from this store again. Its obvious they do not take pride in their establishment.

Friendly staff, very attentive and quick with getting the hot food out. Filled the cups before theft were half full. Clean tables and place settings in there place. Smells from the kitchen where aromatic and tasty! Thumbs up!

So we got to Chili's at 6 on a Friday. Folks got to eat, so I get that it was busy. What I don't get is that no one acknowledged the wait, our server didn't say hello, ask how we were, or even introduce herself. Let's call her Princess (she had a key card that said that.) Okay, so no pleasantries, but the weirdness didn't stop there. We started by mentioning the two coupons that we brought to our visit, and we got a little attitude when she described the "one coupon per table" rule that this Chili's has. At my local Chili's, I have used multiple coupons before, but how mad can I be over spilled guac? We got through ordering, but no one noticed that we didn't have napkins or silverware until we were well into our apps. Getting Princess' attention was pretty difficult. When we finally nabbed her, we finished ordering appetizers (she ran off after we ordered chips) and to request utensils, she returned with everything we wanted. She begun to distribute napkins and silverware--but decided to hold the napkins in her armpit. Gross. Admittedly, when the rush died down, her composure returned. I get it: restaurants get busy. It's the staff's responsibility to remain composed and focus on me and make me feel like it is not chaotic. Princess raced off nearly every time she was done interacting with us--often before we were done making requests. For example, she had to make three trips to get boxes. I'm not mad. I still dig Chili's. But Princess should really focus on how composed she is during dinner rush.

For a chain, this place has been good for our family. Decent service. Varied menu. Take care of issues. I wouldn't suggest steaks: it's not a steakhouse. But super for so many things on menu. Been coming to this location for 14 years. Good experience.

I've been going to all the chili's location for a long time. The other night I came here and had a surprising experience. Other people that sat down after us were being served first. All I got was a soup and salad too. It took scout 45 minutes, which it never takes. So I don't know if this was an isolated incident or what ... I usually have good experiences consistently. Every now and then, it just depends on the waiter. I don't know why, but sometimes this is an iffy location compared to the others.

Met up with my buddy Sean last night to catch up over a few beers. Chili's is mid-way from my work and his so it's a good meeting place. Beers are fine. 2-fer draws for Happy Hour. We ordered wings and the queso on the HH menu. Overall I don't mind Chili's and think they do a good job of Americana eating fare. But here's my only question: Chili's, please tell me which panel of taste-testers looked at your queso - this brownish green mash of semi-curdled fake cheese and - what is that super-soft substance? is it hamburger, sausage or tofu ? - and said "hey, this looks pretty good?" It doesn't look good and it doesn't taste good, either. Isn't anybody giving Chili's feedback on this item? So skip this choice when you go and opt instead for the wings or burgers or something else. Our server, Mandy, was cool - she brought me an extra beer after the first draw was clearly not a Winter Ale. Extra beers, as we all know, always score points with me...

We went for the ribs and the margaritas and left satisfied! Really good margaritas! I had the sweet corn soup, it was thick and creamy and tasty but not hot, I like soup hot, that was my only complaint! The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The waitress told me that the mojito was made with a mix, so glad she told me that! The Margaritas was super..did I mention that? ;-) Ribs came stacked on my BF's plate, he didnt eat his corn on the cob or potato so gave it to me! Potato was hot and fluffy mashed. Corn was a little overdone but ok. We left stuffed and a little tipsy! Chilis doesnt have a whole lot for vegetarians, I did notice the clientele tended to be on the weighty side, this isnt diet/healthy food but hell its good!

Second time i been in here and this girl bartender has been rude and angry. Told us if we order food at this time it will be spit in. Such a trashy girl. On top she bragged about her life and how she is moving to California to be better then us. Tramp will learn her lesson soon

Hubby & I were staying down the road at the Embassy Suites & we arrived too early for check in. We were hungry & thirsty and asked the front desk for recommendations for a local close place. He suggested Chili's & we were there! We scored because it was buy one get one free beers in the bar. Woohoo! Nice frosty mugs. Hubby had the chicken Caesar salad. Little small in portion size. I had the turkey avocado club sandwich. Amazing! Served with a pile of delicious french fries. Friendly, efficient service. Would go back in a heart beat. :)

I really hate Chili's because every time I go I feel like I got overcharged for food that's mediocre at best. Today was no exception. I will say, Chili's does an excellent job of finding locations for their restaurants. This location happens to be a pretty good half-way point from where my boyfriend and I live and where his dad lives, one of it's few redeeming qualities. Had a very nice waitress, congrats, redeeming quality #2. We were seated in a decent amount of time considering how busy it was, but from there the good things fade. We were sat at a small table in a corner making the table space small and cramped. Menu is small and overpriced. Restaurant seems busy and understaffed even though there's no shortage of people standing around. Ordered a salad to come before the entree, food showed up before the salad so it was complimentary. I asked for no pickles on my cheeseburger and not only did I get pickles, I also got the side of pickles my boyfriend ordered. Nowhere in the description of the burger I ordered did it say it had mustard, if it had I would've asked that it be kept off (not that it would've made any difference). The replacement bun was another top bun and even after dowsing the burger in ketchup it was still dry with no flavor and fell apart soon thereafter. Between the fries I got and the onion rings my boyfriend got, there were a handful of each. For a crappy $10 burger I would've expected the fried side embargo to be forgiven, but apparently that was too much to expect. The cucumbers on the salad I got were brown and mushy, I would've rather not gotten the unappetizing would-be appetizer at all but I ordered it so that was my mistake. We were charged 99 cents for "table entertain" whatever that means, even though we never touched the stupid electronic thing that sits on the already cramped table. Seems chilis will do anything to get whatever ridiculous irrelevant charges they can. If they decide to go back after today I will not be in attendance, I can make something better at home and save my money for something enjoyable.
