This pizza is legit! Late night delivery, online ordering, and they delivered in their specified timeframe. Next time we travel ti Denver for work again, we're ordering from these guys!

$5 carry-out 12-inch pizza and only two blocks from me. Yes, all day long. Plus it's been a quick check out and ready every time. I've called ahead and ordered the veggie for pick up and it was great. Nice folks too. I probably wouldn't count on delivery timeframe based on the reviews here.

I just finished my third episode of diarrhea the morning after eating this pizza. I'm not joking. My booty is in PAIN. I'm trying to figure out if it was so poorly proofed dough or the crappy house-made Alfredo sauce that did it in. At the end of the day, they didn't force feed me the pizza or tell me what condiments to put on the pizza so hey, it could very well be just one of those two aforementioned things and I, personally May have just had an iffy build. Regardless, I will only be returning if I want to do a total body purge using their food to clean out my system. Hot dang guys that was unacceptable! What a brown streak you're starting to have with the customers approval!

Big Daddy's is the kind of place that I would never order from before 11pm. Before 11pm, I would probably rate this place at 2 stars. But, when it's 2am and the munchies rear their ugly head, this place is absolutely A-OK. Also, $5 for a carry out pizza is pretty rad. You pretty much get what you pay for. But as others have noted, it's probably a step up from Little Caesars (and open later!).

I didn't eat here, but one of my student's did; who just so state wrestling championship, and ha had to wait over an hour for his food-starving. It's pizza folks-come on! Never again! And you can't list your prices. Geeze

I've ordered delivery twice now and both times it took over an hour. The second time I called to see where it was an hour and 20 minutes after. They didn't get my order yet, I used my pizza.com and I talked to a manager and he gave it to me for free which was very nice. When it all got here I tipped the driver a good amount, but they forgot to put the wings I ordered. They kinda suck. Need new management.

Ordered our pizza at 1:24, expected time of delivery 2:50-3:00 ..wtf.. Anyways, it got there past 3. Any delivery place will cut you a deal if they're that late right? Called managment, talked to Jose. Total ass. Wouldn't cut us any sort of deal for this sad looking, plain cheese pizza that took nearly 2 hours to arrive. Screw this place, seriously.

Place is absolutely disgusting, pizza is always cold and never has enough cheese, and the employees seem to be straight out of prison. Would give -5 stars if I could.

Biggy garlic bread is the bomb, was very impressed with the size! I ordered around 1am and my order arrived by 1:40 which is fast for pizza (used to work for fat sullys and it can take a while, everyone else needs to chill about time mmk, go work for a pizza place.) I was so hungry and slightly drunk and fully satisfied by Big Daddy's. Also the gentleman who delivered our pizza was very nice! (Kudo's to Big Daddy's to delivering to my house, considering like, NOTHING else does.)

  • Ashley J.

The pizza had no sauce what-so-ever. It tasted like Chuck-E-Cheese pizza but worse. We also got wings and they were mainly bbq fat on a bone. Could not even eat them because of the fat being the majority. The bbq sauce was good though... That's about it. I wouldn't order here again. If you like cheese over sauce on pizza then it's OK. My boyfriend prefers cheese and he said it was "not bad" so I gave them an extra star for his opinion. Not a fan.

Jose was amazing!! They were overbooked for Halloween and he was extremely accommodating regardless. Very professional and he made sure we were taken care of. Amazing pizza and exceptional service. Order from big daddy's pizza; you won't be disappointed!

barely decent if it arrives within an hour, it usually doesn't. don't waste your time, there are better places. don't bother complaining about an hour and forty five minute delivery time ON A THURSDAY

There were a few weeks in a row recently where we didn't have kitchen appliances - three weeks in fact. That also coincided with me traveling for work and leaving my husband to his own dinner devices. That also coincided with the opening of Big Daddy's Pizza just a few blocks from our house in the old Papa John's. Good? Bad? Well, kind of in between I'd say. Not only did my husband take advantage of the Monday $3.99 carry-out pepperoni pizza deal (all three Mondays in a row), but he went quite a few other days of the week too in that three-week span...so many days, in fact, that they recognized him. I think they must have felt sorry for him too because one day they gave him a bunch of free pizzas. The worst thing was that we didn't even have a microwave to heat the leftovers up. He threw out more than a few old, cold slices. But I digress, about the pizza - it's not terrible. It's tasty and hits the spot and actually reheats well if you have the means to do so (as in, I can bring leftovers to work for a few days and not be grossed out). For $3.99, I've had far worse meals in my belly. I wish they had other options for that deal though because I like mushroom pizzas and the one time I tried to finangle an order of those, we ended up paying over $20 for two pizzas which made no sense to me. So, if you go on a Monday, just stick with their specials (cheese or pepperoni). It's been awhile since the Big Daddy's guys have seen us, so it's amost time for us to show our shameful faces again. It's a convenient, close by option and I love pizza so I suppose I should get used to the servers snarking on us a little. They have wings and sandwiches too.

The place does the job when its late and you're drunk and on drugs but its basically an over priced Little Caesar's...

  • Sara G.

I have just survived three overnight parties in four weeks (damn clustered birthdays) and don't think I could have gotten through without Big Daddy's Pizza. While the food isn't "gourmet," the pizza is decent, as are the wings and riblets. My family is happy when I bring it home and I'm happy because it's cheap, good and I don't have to cook. I always pick up so I can get the cheap price. It's a great alternative to the big name pizza delivery places. Try it!

The Monday Night Special: 12" for $4.31 on Colfax. /perverted Colfax joke. YOU CAN CALM DOWN NOW. It happened to be one of those nights that, despite perfectly fine leftovers in the fridge and tons of vegetables that still need to be cooked -- I just. wasn't. feeling it. And I'd been thinking about pizza all day so I said "to hell with it", and set out to get some 'za. I picked Big Daddy's because they run a special on Mondays (from 11a-10p): $3.99 for a carry-out cheese or pepperoni pizza. The reviews for the Wadsworth location aren't so hot, but fellow Yelper Kate G. said the pizza from the Colfax store wasn't terrible when they tried it -- so I figured I would go for it. At worst, I'd be out less than $5, and crappy pizza would be my punishment for not staying in and eating the food that's already there. There is no place to sit down inside the store. BD's is strictly carry-out and delivery. They have a full menu including varying sizes of pizza (all the way up to 26" holy hell) and toppings and topping combinations. They also sell breadsticks, cinnamon sticks, wings, and sodas. For me personally, if I'm going to get a pizza from a place that sells 'em for $3.99, then I'm only getting the $3.99 pizza. The people working were nice and efficient enough. I was on my way with pizza in hand in less than three minutes. Now for the important part: the pizza itself. I can't say it's all that good, but it wasn't all that bad, either. It was a $4.31 pizza. A little thinner crust than Little Caesar's, but seemingly way more cheese. Or maybe equal. I don't really know but cheese fans won't be disappointed. Honestly, this is the kind of pizza you eat when you're a.) throwing a party and need food on the cheap b.) feeding a bunch of grungy teenagers c.) wasted or d.) desperate/lazy. Maybe a combination of all of the above. Choose your own pizza-seeking adventure here, folks! Would I visit again? Yes. I think I need to let my arteries recover from the grease and salt first, but I'll be back. I would even go as far to say that I would pay the regular price of $5+tax for this pie!

Ordered for delivery, middle of the afternoon. Delivery driver was nice, but it took nearly 1 1/2 hours to get here. Large Dinner Salad - Pretty bad. Charged for dressing (wtf?) and added cheese. Bag lettuce, diced veggies. Not worth it. - 1.5/5 Garlic Cheese Bread - Pretty expensive for what it was, but it was pretty decent. Wish they'd cut it different, though. - 3.5/5 Pizza - Chose 5 toppings, all meat, double pepperoni. The lack of toppings was incredible. Papa Johns puts more on theirs, which is saying something. Tasted OK, but pretty disappointing. - 2/5 Cinnabread - Excellent. By far the best part of the whole order. It was like eating a slightly undercooked cinnamon roll with cream cheese icing, and was cheap for a large portion. - 5/5 Overall, nothing that great. Maybe I'll stop in for their cheap $3.99 deal sometime, but won't order from them again....unless I want 3 orders of cinnabread.

Rolled the dice on late night delivery. The pizza was actually.. well, lets say it met expectations. I have to deduct points since the extra toppings I paid for online were not on the pizza. But I came here to talk about the wings. Just. Don't . Really bad. Like, eww. Fatty, under-cooked, inedible -- after I took one regrettable bite the rest went in the trash. I seriously doubt they were even cooked to a safe temperature, for real. I mean, I'm actually from Buffalo and have my ideas of what a good chicken wing is, but these wings were not at a level where they could be discussed at that level. Delivery was fast and friendly.

    (2)
  • Hunter L.

Nothing special about Big Daddy's. Cheap dough, cheap sauce, cheap cheese. Not that great. But if you're drunk and need food late night this is the place to go if you want pizza because it's the only one open. That's all.

  • Jer M.

I love their GIANT pizzas for $35 delivered - you can't beat it. Also, they once messed up our order and when I called, the manager was very professional and they quickly delivered the pizza we _actually_ ordered, without complaint. It's not gourmet pizza but it's good quality and delivered professionally (kudos to their drivers - must be the best ones in the business)

The first time I ever had big daddy's pizza. I'm not too happy with my order it took an hour and 15 minutes for the guy to bring me my pizza and Time it got here it was cold. It just taste like a cheap pizza not worth $18. They also did a horrible job putting the toppings on... I'll take my business elsewhere

    (1)
  • A L.

The crust is Papa John's crust. Thick, doughy, slightly sweet. Yeccch. The tomato sauce was okay & the cheese was plentiful. I stuck with veggie toppings, & they were all fresh & fine. But the crust was a deal-breaker. I have something pretty specific in mind for pizza crust & I will have to keep looking. I checked out this place because it was close to my house.

    (3)
  • Bran D.

It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't the best. I eat it if I were close to one and didn't want to go anywhere else. needed a little more sauce. try it you may like it

Well I ordered a pizza and some mozzarella sticks from here and they just never delivered it. I contacted the delivery company I ordered it from and the order was confirmed with Big Daddys...they just closed the restaurant and never delivered. How do these people stay in business?

The "coronary meat feast" pizza pushes this place up to 5 stars for me. An express order that's advertised as ready in 10 minutes, this pizza is an incredible deal for under $9. (This low price is for pick-up.) Loaded with meat, very flavorful, not greasy, good and plentiful cheese, tasty sauce, and chewy crust. Delicious. Big Daddy's pizza also tastes good cold. It's nice not to have to warm it up to have it taste good. We tried the garlic cheese bread, good but rather greasy. It's like a pizza without sauce, cut in a strange way. (I'd prefer it cut into smaller pieces instead of huge chunks.) Marinara sauce is included for dipping. The always-ready rib tips are pretty darn tasty for $5 per half pound. Nice to have this different item on the menu! Wings are also available, but we haven't tried them. I'm really glad we tried this place.

  • Terry L.

Cheap and hot and greasy on Colfax also applies to pizza. Their $5 Ready to Go one-topping pizzas are within walking distance and are beaconing me on just about every game day as an easy high calorie, decent quality meal. Dammit Jim! Thank you Big Daddy.

Soooo...the guys at Big Daddys Pizza were very nice...however not really capable of delivering. Not sure if it was the busy night or the systems in place to deliver on the orders. I did try to call back a 2nd and 3rd time after my pizza was over an hour late...correction after just receiving my pizza. 2 hours late. the delivery driver told me this was normal, AND they didn't get my order right....tiny pizza...wrong toppings..let me just say, AOL.

Pricing schedule is ridiculous, so a 12" pizza is 5 bucks but a 14" pizza is 15 bucks. How is this logical, and of course staff doesn't tell you any better even if you ask so you get to find this out once you get there.

So I never ever give bad reviews. But this was horrible. I online ordered since that is the world we live in. I live .3 miles away. Took and hour and pizza was not what I ordered and it was cold. I paid 20 dollars for a 12" cold pizza. There are so many better options around here. Now I know. Just thought I would warn everyone else. It's bad!!!!

Since I was in town I thought I would try this place out. Well I can't tell you how the food tasted since it never got here at all. I went through an app to order at around 1:24 am. At 2:45 no pizza so I called to see if I was going to get a pizza or if I should go to bed. Which is what I said to the girl, well, the girl was nice and said it was on it's way. I believed that meant that the pizza was in a car and someone was driving it over. At 3:42 no pizza arrived and they are closed. haha I'm not even mad about the pizza but to say it was on the way was crazy, they should have just said no you're not getting a pizza but to make me believe it was coming was something else. Luckily I didn't put in a credit card so no money was lost, just sleep. Way to make a first impression.

The pizza here isn't great, but what can you expect for $5? It's a step above Little Caesars at least. It's a smart move to offer delivery until the wee hours of the morning because just as a standard pizza place with regular hours this place would not stand up. It's a nice alternative to Taco Bell at 2:00 in the morning after a night of drinking, and you don't have to worry about driving anywhere.

It gets 3 stars for Denver pizza. It would get 1.5 in the mid-west or northeast. It's not bad, pretty cheap, and overall everyone I've interacted with over there is fairly nice. Nothing to go out of your way for but they do deliver late and have good carry out deals.

big daddys is what it is. very close to little ceasers. its cheap pizza so u get what u pay for. they are open very late (4 am) and deliver late, also they have the biggest pizza I've ever seen 26".

  • Patrick R.

You can't beat a $5 pizza, except during Monday Madness at Big Daddy's when the pizzas are only $4!! I prefer this place over Little Caesars for my cheap pizza cravings. The staff here has always been super friendly as well. They make the pizzas super cheesy, just how I like it.

    (5)

Ordered a pizza at 2a.m. after a night downtown, and it was like a slice of heaven. Took a bit for delivery, but worth the wait.

It gets 3 stars for Denver pizza. It would get 1.5 in the mid-west or northeast. It's not bad, pretty cheap, and overall everyone I've interacted with over there is fairly nice. Nothing to go out of your way for but they do deliver late and have good carry out deals.
