Best Pad Thai I've ever had. I ordered it 4 stars and holy cow, I was sniveling and my eyes were watering within the first few bites. Very spicy, delicious, authentic food. Our server was super entertaining, he is destined for theater. Quick, friendly service. He joked around with us a lot, especially about pronunciation of the dishes. The restaurant is small but they did a great job with the layout. Good use of space without feeling claustrophobic. We sat in chairs but some of the other customers had benches with pillows to sit on. A little pricey, but we didn't leave feeling jipped. We paid for the good atmosphere and positive energy as well as the food.

Great food. Best drunken noodles I've had, out of six different states! Very nice employees. Just do it, eat here.

This little spot is so good that I wish I was a local! I'm from the NYC area and I can't remember the last time I had Thai this good. The service was great and super friendly. Like the rest of the area, the prices are a little high, but 1) worth it (SO YUMMY!) and 2) still within reason considering portion sizes. Definitely hit this place up! It was a really great alternative to the grills and burger places in the area.

We had to stop at the Goodyear for a new set of tires for our travel trailer and this restaurant was right across the street. We blew a tire (again) so were told it would take 1.5 hours. We arrived at Thai Cortez at 2:25 pm having no idea it closed at 2:30. The waiter was so nice and took our order and we were so glad he did! We ordered salad rolls for an appetizer and devoured them (really late lunch and we were starving!). We then had 3 different types of lunch menu items and everyone really liked what they had. If we lived in this area, this would definitely be one of our regular places to eat!

This Thai restaurant has only been open for a couple of months but the food is great. My family just got back from Thailand earlier in the year and the food here reminded us of our trip. The customer service was great and the place was clean and well kept. We had the "drunken noodles" that was recommended by the server. It is thin rice noodles with vegetables mixed in a spicy Thai sauce. It wasn't greasy and it had lots of flavor. You can get it any spicy level you want. The other dish we had, but I forgot the name, was a fried fish fillet topped with sweet that chili sauce. This was my favorite dish. It was rolled pieces of cod, deep fried over a bed of stir fried vegetables and topped with a sweet, tangy red Thai sauce. I'll definitely order this dish again. In fact I'll come back here the next time I'm passing through Cortez. Next time I'll take some picture. I would definitely recommend people try out this new restaurant in town. There's only about 15 tables here, so take out is always an option!

Husband and I stopped in while on a road trip. Wish we had this place in our town. Food was best of the trip so far.

We were coming back from Archese national park, we were very hungry. We found this restaurant on yelp with 5 stars. We went there and it was excellent. Food was good , manager was given us so much attention. Service was nice, good ambience. If you want to try good Thai food in such a small city, you can prefer this one.

On a roadtrip and found this little gem. It's such an awesome find out here for a small town area. Food was well seasoned, service was like being back home in the south. In short, the food tastes just like my thai friend mama's cooking.

Amazing! I live in Los Angeles and eat Thai all the time - this is THE BEST Thai food I have had! The "Drunken Noodles" were awesome as was my dads curry. Cortez? Who knew!

Awesome lunch specials! Pad Thai & yellow curry were really good & fresh. Owners are actually from Thailand.

One of the waiter was very nice and friendly but the lady waitress was a bit rough. She may be the owner. She didn't even give us napkins, I had to ask for them. I felt like she didn't want to waste her cloth napkins on us and instead wanted to give us just paper napkins. We also wanted straws and she would only give us one straw at a time. After getting the impression that she was be stingy over straws, we just gave up. We never got any refills on our drinks. They do greet you when you walk in though.

Started the night off with fresh veggie Thai roll. Beautiful presentation (see photo) it was amazing! The Thai peanut sauce was great & plenty of sauce! We then shared a tofu green curry & pad see euw. Both were fantastic! Even our rice, served in the shape of a heart, was tasty! Had the Thai coffee & jasmine tea for drinks. They have applied for a license to serve adult beverages. A definitely great place to finish a beautiful day at the Mesa Verde!

The food was delicious and well priced and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My sister ordered food and requested it too spicy, so the restaurant brought her a new plate free of charge.

Fabulous fresh and beautiful. Service isn't speedy but the food is worth the wait. If you like Thai food and fresh vegetables, then just go ahead and eat here. You won't regret it!

Excellent food, truly great Thai cuisine in a small town. I have been twice, having drunken noodles once and green curry the other time. Both were outstanding. The service can be a bit slow, but the food is well worth the wait. No liquor/beer/wine license.
