We drove by this place several times. Finally went by on a Saturday night. The place was packed, short wait. Place is not fancy, appeared to be mostly locals. The food was excellent. The service was great. It was so busy the owner waited on us. She is a sweetheart. Her husband is the chef. All the food that was brought from the kitchen and passed by us looked delicious. The pizza....next time that's what I'm ordering

We have been eating here for about ten years. Tonight we had the Eggplant Parmesan and the Chicken Parmesan. Both were delicious. Service was great and fast with the new wireless ordering by the server which means your order is in the kitchen as soon as it is punched in the pad. You can have table CC checkout if you are in a hurry also. Again the food was excellent, and service was outstanding. The owner stopped by to see how we liked our meal. Always nice with the owner checks as you know they care about their customers.

This restaurant is a life saver for my family when we take long road trips because it stays open late in the summer and has so many options! Lotsa Pasta has a huge menu which is legit and the quality of the food is pretty good. I ordered a pasta dish with sausage and marinara sauce and it was tasty, but it was also floating in a pool of oil. Seriously, there was so much oil I was a bit concerned and had to shake the pasta to reduce the amount of oil I was consuming. It sure tasted good though, and the portion was reasonable. My mom had the baked chicken which was tasty, but the side of green beans was unimpressive and the baked potato only came with butter. Thankfully our waitress brought some other condiments such as sour cream and onions which helped. Service was a bit sparse at times which forced me to ask a different server for our check since I wasn't sure when I was going to see our waitress again. Overall though Lotsa Pasta is a decent place to get your grub on, but don't expect anything fancy.

Impressive menu that includes Japanese soba noodles as well as standard Italian-American fare. There's even miso! Good coverage for vegetarians. A not bad beer and wine selection, too, but since I was night-driving I opted for coffee. The coffee was meh - burnt tasting though they said it was a fresh pot. Friendly and attentive service and good food though. Was grateful to stumble on this place and I'd look for it again if I'm traveling around here.

My boyfriend and I were staying Cortez for a couple of months because he works on the road. We drove by this place several times and finally decided to try it before we left Cortez. We got seated immediately and ordered our drinks. Our waitress also got seated a 9 top after we ordered our drinks. She came to the table and said she would put our order in before she put their big order in. My boyfriend and I waited 2 hours (2 HOURS) for our food. Our waitress forgot to put in our order before the 9 top. What got me is that she could of admitted she forgot. Instead we were just sitting there starving! No mananger came to our table and our server never apologized. Worst service I've ever had in my life. We left the restaurant after waiting 2 plus hours without getting our food. We just walked out. Come to find out that the Lotsa Pasta called the police because we walked out and now my boyfriend has a warrant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will not be returning and this was the worst service ever! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

When the gang said we'd be having pasta, I was dreading it. After all, not every pasta joint has an array of gluten-free options. But Lotsa Pasta offers rice noodles for the celiac/gluten-intolerant folks in your world, so if you're rolling through the area and want to have pasta, don't feel like you're letting them down. I ended up getting a steak, not pasta, so I can't speak to the pasta. But I will say the service was excellent for our party of 14 and everyone seemed to enjoy their meals.

Great pasta and pizza place. Good food and excellent value. Not pretentious, friendly staff and efficient service. Really enjoyed the lasagna and supreme pizza. Good little garden salad bar, tasty all around.

Great place and great food! Our server was always on it. Try the chicken parm sandwich, it was prepared perfectly. Get the fries!

Choices are limited in Cortez, but this is pretty decent family Italian place, with other American menu choices as well.

I normally love this place, I've been coming since I was a child. But today we got the worst service ever. The waitress put in our order and we had to wait an hour. The waitress said something went wrong with the new system. I don't believe it was the waitresses fault, yet the owner yelled at her and the waitress had tears in her eyes. I was bugged the owner got after her. She was trying to get our order, what were you doing to help the situation? Nothing. Also when I asked for some type of compensation for sitting for an hour for our food she got a really rude attitude. Then it was an extra 20 minutes to remake the food, so that's almost and hour and a half for food.
