If I could give this place 'zero stars', believe me, I would. I'll do one star, and that's for my cup of coffee because it's good. My boys were so looking forward to having Duncan Donuts (since we don't have one in Northern CA), we went thru the convenient drive-thru, ordered a cup of coffee for me, and donuts for them. As we returned to our hotel, I opened the bag and discovered we are short one donut that I paid for! Not that it's that big of a deal, but I feel ripped off. This was a treat for the boys( we never do donuts) and we were short changed. I searched for the store phone #and really had to do some searching. Spoke to a 'Chris' that answered the phone and explained the situation, she was nice and offered to 'make it right'. This store is pretty far from our hotel and I made a special trip just for the boys. Unfortunately, we won't be back. I see on the receipt that they separated one donut out as a separate entry, as they have a medium coffee/donut special to give me the discount but...they just forgot to put it in the bag. As a side note- the donuts we ordered looked way over cooked, not light and fluffy like I remember as a kid. Boys didn't particularly like them. Oh well. I'm not going to waste my time doing the survey on the receipt, or maybe I should!?

Seriously disappointing! First, the donuts have shrunk over the past month or so it seems- they are about 1/2 the size. Second, the ones my husband and son brought home this morning were absolutely stale. Hard as a rock, nasty and disgusting. Not even worth a second thought, people! Go to Safeway where you can breeze in and out (YES you do have to park and walk!) and even grab a Starbuck's or Jamba Juice while you're at it.

The drive-thru is super convenient for a cup of coffee without getting out of your car. The staff is pleasant but undertrained. Their coffee is consistent with other Dunkin's but the food isn't great by any standard. Last time I bought a bagel it was barely toasted and sloppily constructed. Your best bet: stick to coffee in the drive-thru and go to Moe's (a block away) for food!

This gets 1 star because you can't select 0. I've had bagels that were lighter than the lead weights we got there. The donuts at King Soopers are fantastic compared to the gloop served here. On the good news side, you may not gain any weight eating these donuts. You have to spend so much time chewing to get it to a point where you can swallow it that the effort may burn up more calories than you get from the donut. My wife, who loves donuts, was devastated after we went and they were so bad.

I was pretty stoked (when moving back to Colorado from the east coast) to find out that Dunkin's had finally arrived in the Mile High City. I frequented Dunkin's almost every other day in Maryland for my standard cup of Iced Coffee and not ONCE did I have a problem. I don't know what's wrong with the management at this location, but no one has their $@&T together. Let me preface that I never spout profanities in my reviews as I try to be fair, but never have I seen so many people aggravated by the simple act of ordering coffee. The managers have no clue how to handle the registers, so of course, neither do the employees. Over the past week, I've had to deal with the following: 1. The girl running the drive through charged me $14.57 for one medium iced coffee. Took it off of my DD's account, couldn't figure out how to put the difference back, and gave me cash. When I finally counted the money, she had only given me $7 back. My medium ice coffee cost me $7.57 that day. 2. A friend and I had coupons for 2 free donuts (survey coupons), a medium drink (DD App), and a turbo espresso shot (DD App). The woman at the register needed manager approval for the survey coupons so she called a manager over. The manager was taking an order from drive through and trying to handle our transaction at the same time. She ended up ADDING things to our order (a turbo shot) and charging me for one of the free donuts. They tried to make it better by doing another transaction for one donut, but I still walked away paying more than I should have. 3. Stood at the counter for 8 minutes waiting for my iced coffee. Finally asked someone if it was on the way and the employees started arguing and yelling at each other about who was responsible for missing my order. 4. While waiting (longer than usual) for my coffee, a man became agitated because they had made his order wrong, then forgotten that he had asked them to redo his coffee. He'd been waiting for 12 minutes and finally asked for a refund. The lady at the register couldn't figure out how to do a refund to his account and he ended up storming out. This place has some serious work to do. You'll notice that they ALWAYS have a "hiring now" sign. Probably because they can't retain any employees. Avoid it if you value your time.

Was excited to try this place. They have a drive thru and the breakfast menu looks good-there's some kind of egg mcmuffin and hash brown thing available. But I should have checked my bag after they handed it to me before driving off because I received a HALF EATEN crunched up donut. So the employees are munching on donuts while serving people food, and I assume I received this half eaten employee donut... Ick. Waste of money and feeling totally grossed out. Will try another day in the morning so hopefully things are fresh.

Pretty simple review here. The coffee was great, I had a dark roast black and it was smooth and the perfect temp. The donuts however are no lamars....by a long shot. I can't speak to their sandwiches but the donuts are only alright...surprising coming from a donut shop. If you do get something I'd get the apple fritter, the glazed have a weird taste in my opinion.

Sad to say, this is not your east coast quality DD of old. Or even of now, as I do revisit my old standards in MA and CT every other year or so. And to make it clear, I am only here for the donuts. If you are into the coffee and sandwiches that's just something else they developed over more recent decades to compete with other chains and nationally. And you might like it just fine. This store started off with bang with east coast corporate oversight and then had a year full of huge ups and downs. Right now, it is OK, if you pick and choose carefully. Also, the corporate recipes have changed a bit over the years and the raised glazed is just too different now for my taste. But my favs have always been filled donuts, especially with powdered sugar coating. I need to go early in the morning or they are often hard and stale, they dry out fast in our climate. Eastern humidity is good for just this one thing, I think. Also, they make very few or none at all of my fav flavors during the week. So weekend mornings are my best bet. The staff here has varied wildly in capabilities but my last few visits were OK. The recent staff have been more mature, so maybe they grew up eating donuts. I have met staff here who had never had a donut before working here and admitted to having never heard of DD. They were shown a movie in training about the history and tradition and were amazed to meet me, someone who had actually eaten the old standards way back east and way back when! Oh well.

So excited DUNKINS has finally arrived in Boulder. Super friendly staff from corporate was at the door to greet us, free coffee/hot cocoa as we walked through,& bumpin tunes by a local radio station. As the store is new they are working to get their app up and running (def download it - lots of great coupons and deals). everything else is moving smoothly. Do not fear they appear to have plenty of donuts for opening day. Bike rack right up front and parking doesn't look to bad either. Happy Day!

All is well at Dunkin' Donuts -- 2nd day open. Employees work well together as a team, and customer service is excellent. Because I do my best not to eat much sugar and fat, I did not try any donuts. i know....what can I possibly review? Well, I'm sitting here right now at the new Boulder Dunkin' Donuts, sipping my free medium iced coffee, which is excellent. I'm also using the wifi, which is flawless. Lots of electrical outlets and cozy little spots to sit and play on the computer. Yay! They are open until 11pm so it's a perfect late-ish spot for me to have a nice little snack and use the wifi. By the way there is a food menu here too. Egg sandwiches, tuna and chicken salad sandwiches, sandwiches on bagels, or bread, or croissants....all breads homemade here. So the tuna salad sandwich on a croissant was quite decent. it was around 3 bucks which is not too pricey. People are buying dozens and dozens of Dunkin' Donuts here, though....and looking very happy about this place being here. Apparently this was a good business idea--and I did always wonder why Dunkin' Donuts closed up over on Folsom where it used to be for years and years... So...welcome to Boulder, Dunkin' Donuts!!

I just went to this Dunkin' Donuts within the past hour. There is not a lot of seating area & several of the ceiling tiles showed bad water damage. Since the inside area is so cramped, it doesn't take much of a line before you're standing next to people's tables. As far as the donuts, this place probably has the least variety of donuts I've ever seen. Grocery stores carry more of a variety than this store does. I had an apple fritter & it was not good. The donut was dry & all they did was put something like apple pie filling into the middle of the top of it. The apples were not baked/fried in the dough like they should have been.

First time coming here. Place looks nice and clean. Food was pretty good. Ordered a bagel with egg, bacon and cheese. Also good. Service needs to improve a little more. More friendly and welcoming. We were over charged an extra for who knows what!?

Everything that could go wrong did. I am very familiar with Dunkin' Donuts, having grown up with them in another region of the country. I'm guessing that upper management did not import staff from seasoned Dunkin' Donuts based on my bad experience at the Boulder location. I went through the drive-thru and the person taking my order, who was the manager on duty, was distracted and could not understand my order. I was as clear and concise, and repeated my order several times because he kept getting it wrong. And this was just the donut order. I then repeated my coffee order several times because he kept reading it back to me incorrectly. He also kept taking breaks in the conversation which I assumed were to attend to the activity inside. When I got to the drive-thru window my order was completely wrong. I ordered two doughnuts not three and was charged for three. Luckily I looked in the bag after seeing how high the total was on the receipt. The manager argued with me saying that I did not tell him the correct order when I explicitly knew that I did because I repeated it so many times to him in order to ensure clarity. They then refunded my money for the one doughnut and I heard the counter girl asking him if we should keep the extra donut in the bag as a courtesy and he disagreed and pulled it out, I assume to sell to another customer. I really did not desire the extra doughnut but since they messed up why not throw in the extra donut? But that is neither here nor there and really not a gripe of mine, just an observation of pretty poor customer service. They then handed me my coffee. I said to the clerk that I wanted to make sure that they made what I ordered before driving away so I took a sip. And wouldn't you know it, they messed up AGAIN by making the wrong drink for me. I asked for, and paid for a more "gourmet-ish" beverage and they handed me the most basic of drinks. Despite it clearly showing the drink that I ordered and paid for clearly on the receipt. Correcting this took a good five minutes to the chagrin of not only myself, but the six other cars waiting behind me. During this time I had a third clerk come to the drive-thru window telling me that he would fix the coffee for me by adding sugar to it. Sugar in what was supposed to be flavored syrup latte? It needed to be remade with the flavored syrup I paid for, not by adding sugar to an espresso. He had no idea how to make a latte. So after at least a good 10 to 15 minutes of idling at the drive-thru window, my order was finally completed, I was handed my proper drink, and was able to get on with my day. They did not offer a discount, they did not offer a refund, the clerk simply said "sorry". This place is a train wreck and they really should have THOROUGHLY trained their staff before opening. Shameful. And disappointing.

I haven't had dunkin for several years since it they don't have any in the bay area so I was excited when I saw this location. Got a boston crème and a coffee...so satisfied.

Coming from New England I know my Dunkins pretty well, and this one was unfortunately sub par. I was pretty psyched to hear a Dunkins opened up in Boulder. The coffee had waaay to much cream even when I asked for half cream, which I had to explain to them what that was, it's okay they're not up on the lingo yet. Got the my iced coffee an it was essentially white so sent it back and said I wanted not much cream, they made another one...still essentially white but I took it and tasted like it looked, nothing. Donuts were okay, just not as good as they are back east. Service was a snails pace compared to what I'm used to but I guess that's alright. Place looked pretty nice from the inside, plenty of places to sit. They should send some ol' New England folks over to get them running an efficient Dunkins!

Wow. Talk about some employees who are completely without guidance. There is no one present who knows at all what is going on here. Coffee is horribly stale. One guy just asked for his money back and left without anything because they simply could not understand what is going on or get him anything. I came in to get a cup of black coffee and a donut. First I waited at the counter for almost five minutes. No greeting, no sorry for the wait. All of the employees are arguing with each other and confused. It ended up taking 8 minutes to get a black coffee and donuts. I saw four people try to order and not one transaction went smoothly. The person after me asked to fill out a customer service survey after it took him around five minutes to order a "#4". The woman working the register actually said to him at one point,"who knew it could be such a f**cking ordeal to try to order donuts!" I am not sure I have ever seen a place so mismanaged. On the bright side there was plenty if entertainment to keep me occupied while I drank my cruddy coffee.

I grew up in the northeast ( and miss it) and was practically raised on Dunks. Therefore my heart breaks every time I go in - and because I'm stubborn, I've tried it 5 times now. It's always something - the last two times I've ordered and iced coffee, they have poured steaming hot coffee into the cup with a little ice. It's only this one too, both the Denver and DIA one are great. I long for when I can walk in and the lady behind the counter goes 'whaddaya wahnt dahhlin' and I can respond 'medium regulah iced' and they ll know what I mean, and it'll be great.

I know the East Coasters like their Dunkin Donuts, but seriously, this is not a good donut. They are largely flavorless, they aren't cheap and the coffee isn't all that much either. It was FREEZING cold in there, on a 70 degree May morning - We sat outside because it was warmer. Most of the chairs outside were broken too. We won't be back.

Coffee in drive thru sucks. Woman doesn't know difference between latte and coffee. When I got my iced mocha swirl it was coffee with chocolate I complained she poured it into a new cup with a splash of milk. I said it still wasn't right she said it was and to have a nice day. So thanks for this disgusting 4 buck cup of gross. It's in the trash and I'm going to drive up to Thornton which is the only DD that makes a mocha swirl CORRECT!

Come in at 11 AM on weekends and they are always out of bagels. You would think after a month of being open they could have figured this out. Growing up around Dunkin donuts for 10+ years, never have I had worse service even during a morning rush. I went for a wake up wrap and coffee since they were out of bagels. It took 10 minutes for my coffee to come out wrong and 15 minutes for my wrap. There were at most 10 people in line and 3 cars in the drive through. Back home there is always a line out the door, far less staff and I never wait more than five minutes for a CORRECT order. If I could give the staff and operation no stars I would.

I love donuts and my girlfriend loves coffee so when we saw this dunkin donuts was opening right near our work and home we were/are excited. I tried the chai their because I hate coffee flavor but it was no good. No chai flavor in it. I always get the munchkins as they are the perfect size for a bite. They usually only have 2 flavors of munchkins though but I got the jelly filled the other day and it was perfect. The glazed are good too. I'm still waiting for them to have blueberry cake munchkins but that's inevitable. My girlfriend likes the coffees and they are reasonably priced. The first couple days it was too crowded so we went to Starbucks and it was 6$ and not as strong or flavorful she said so we have been getting her coffee from dunkin and it's 2.50$ and she likes it so I guess that's an improvement. I get to save money and get a better product and it's a drive thru so I don't have to get out of the car.

I've gone four times now. I keep going because I want to use up my DD gift card I purchased. The first time I went I couldn't use it because the Internet was down. The 2nd time I went they made my order wrong, 3rd time the Internet was down again plus no hash browns with my combo. The last time I went I didn't buy anything because they had no eggs and didn't have the coffee my friend wanted.
