I am so sad. I ordered Massinos. The first time it was pretty good and I would rather support local than a chain so I ordered tonight. It was a major disappointment. I had a coupon that came in the mail for $5 off. The woman taking order said I could only use that online yet it was a physical coupon. Finally they just gave me 20percent off which was a$4.60 discount, not the $5 I had a coupon for. I was told 35 min for delivery; it took one hour and 35 min. The pizza hardly had any taste and the ingredients were not correct. Also I asked for alfredo sauce in my stromboli and I received a sauce that was not alfredo, not even close and it tasted foul. We did eat most of the pizza because we were starving and waited double time for our food. When I called to ask for a refund, credit or discount due to these mistakes the woman said I had to give her back the food. What? They made a few huge mistakes and I needed to give food back? I told her this wasnt acceptable and her response was that she would call the owner and he would call me right away to take care of this. The owner didnt call. I am so appalled by the mediocre food and poor customer service. If it had been rectified appropriately I would give them another chance, however I wasnt treated with respect and did not receive an acceptable outcome. Instead of making me a loyal customer, they have lost one. *** note to owner.. It would be professional and courteous of you to contact me as was promised and make this right***

Great NY style pizza, excellent strombolis and tasty calzones. So far their hot subs are my least favorite thing on the menu, not because they were bad, just not my style. I think their pizza is some of the best in the area- whether you pick it up, or deliver the service is always fast and friendly.

I just moved here from New Hampshire and right near our apartment is this delicious place! I ordered a veggie pizza and it was wonderful!! They weren't skimpy with the ingredients at all. The staff were friendly, they let us know it would be a few more minutes on my husbands pizza. I will most definitely go back. :)

Not New York style at all! Someone coming from New York, I'm disappointed. We ordered a special for $15 which was supposed to include a medium and a large pizza. We got a small and medium and no one offered us any compensation! We even heard them talking in the back saying "Why are these pizzas so small!" Their pizza and food is good, but customer service can use some work!

Excellent food and fast service - this time I ordered for delivery and enjoyed. I had the shrimp scampi pizza and an order of cannolis. They are not the cheapest pizza place but they are worth it. Plus they are a locally owned establishment and I prefer to keep my money local.

Food is pretty good. Owners could use an attitude adjustment though. We got their philly cheese steak a while ago. Meat was fresh and sandwich was good. The lady taking our order wasn't very friendly or helpful. Have not returned since.

First time ordering from Massinos, we were quoted 45 minutes-60 minutes. Our order arrived an 1 hour and 15 minutes later. The pizza was cold, it had good flavor but we were not impressed with the crust or the amount of cheese. The wings we ordered were very overcooked, rubbery even. I would not recommend them. The calzone we ordered didn't arrive, we received a calzone with just mushroom and LOTS of garlic sauce. It looked beautiful until I cut into and realized none of our toppings made it into the calzone. I wish our food had arrived correctly, on time and warm. To their credit when I called Massino's and explained what we received they did offer to send a new calzone. We just had no intention of eating dinner at 10 pm so I declined. The calzone really did look good so I might give them another try. I'll update the review if I do.

I came in at lunch time today, before they got busy and ordered 2 slices of pepperoni. The woman who took my order was confused, obviously. 20 minutes later, she brought me a sad, cold, single slice of cheese. It looked disgusting, so I got my money back and left. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE

It's decent pizza at a decent price. 18" deluxe for $20 seems decent for me. Yeah its thin crust but that's OK with me. I'm not a pizza snob at all but to me it taste just fine. Is always done quick which I like as I live less than a half mile away.

Lunch time on a Friday, the place is empty. Thought maybe I just lucked out and beat the lunch crowd. If I had checked yelp ahead of time, I would have known the reason - the place is just not very good. Washed my hands before eating. The bathroom door was almost impossible to open. No hot water - freezing cold. Paper towel dispenser was broken - couldn't get paper towels out. Exited with cold, wet hands. Ordered a lunch special - what looked on the sign to be a slice of pepperoni pizza and a beautiful Greek salad for about $6. Lady at the counter (who apparently hadn't quite mastered English yet) said house salad or Caesar salad were my choices, no Greek. Ordered Caesar. When it came, the lettuce was about 60% shades of yellow and 40% green. Had to smother with dressing to mask the taste. About 100 tiny croutons dumped on top - difficult to stab with a fork. Took about 20 minutes to scoop them all up.Good amount of parmesan cheese though. Pizza came a few minutes later. Was just ok - about 2 steps up from a Tombstone. Nothing worth even crossing the street for. Bottom line: you're probably better off trying to scrounge up something next door at Walgreens than overspending for gross salad and just-ok pizza at Massino's.

First impression is everything, and my first impression was a nope. Maybe they should have better customer service. The guy when we walked in and said hi to us then walked away. Did he bother getting someone to come up front? No. Then when a guy on his break came out, he had to wave someone down from the back, the other guy came up up about half before calling a girl up front and walked back. The girl was nice, and friendly. They also should list the size with the number size, like 16" is an Xlarge instead of having customers guessing. Can't run a pizza business if you aren't willing to treat your customers right. Willing to give my business over chain stores but not so if it keeps it this way. OMG we sat here for 10 min and a guy comes up and asked us what we ordered, we told him and he goes "ill get that ready for you." Are you freaking kidding me!!?! Do you not have the capacity to multitask ?? Is there a reason that I should have to wait half an hour when you are dead ? I could've went home ordered somewhere else and had it delivered before they even got my pizza cooked. I will NOT be here again. Poorly run and doesn't have the ability to work with or with out pressure. This was ridiculous and please do not go here unless you have time to waste. All night long that is. Get your stuff together massinos. Pizza was decent, but not worth the service that was received.

Seriously disgusting. The pizza had the texture and flavor of frozen pizza. It was awful.

Do not order from here! I ordered delivery for 10 wings, 1 salad with Italian dressing, soda, and cheesy bread. The wings were dropped on the floor and never made it to me, they gave me ranch dressing instead of Italian and they did not give me any napkins or silverware. when I called to complain they said "uh, what do you want us to do?" ARE YOU SERIOUS? Save your money and effort and go somewhere else.

Not New York style pizza. This pizza is made on screens not on the brick oven with corn meal. It won't have that lightly stiff bottom that you would expect from brick oven pizza. It's doughy. Save your time and money and just get a DiGiorno pie at the supermarket. Its the same thing IMO.

The first time we ordered from here, the food was good and we were excited that we found a new place. The second time, things went downhill fast. Our order arrived - over $100 - and one of our entrees was missing. We called back right away and the lady on the phone said that she would send two pieces of cheesecake with the entree as an apology. The entree arrived without the cheesecake. We sent an email expressing our disappointment. The next evening, when we arrived home, we had a message on our answering machine as well as cheesecake that had been delivered when we weren't here. Not exactly what we had in mind, but I would have given them credit for trying. So, I guess we hadn't learned our lesson and we tried it again. This time the delivery guy says about our sandwich, "the bread got a little crunchy, but it is still fine." Well, if crunchy is defined as BURNED TO A CRISP, then he was right. The bread was black on both ends and the entire sandwich tasted like charcoal. I CANNOT believe that someone looked at that sandwich and still decided to deliver it to a customer. Three strikes and they're out.

I was told by a teenager that this was the best pizza! Well let me tell u, she doesn't know what good pizza is. This place was ok looking from outside and inside, but the pizza was boring, flavorless, and sitting under a heat lamp for idk how many hours. To top it off, our slices were a plain cheese pizza reheated and topped with cold pepperoni and veggies. The one star goes to the cashier who didn't know the answers to any of our questions, but he was trying. Never going back to this place!

Very nice people working here. I got a chicken sandwich. Not to much to it but it was warm and tasty. Good lunch.

Don't listen to the negative reviews. Screw THAT! This won't be some structurally correct review, it's more of a rant with PRAISE. So look (lol), the very first day I walked into this establishment after Abo's was NO more, my nose was greeted by something weird. What is that again? Oh yeah, I remember now, it was DELICIOUSNESS! You know, like the smokey smell of BBQ when you walk into one of those joints, but THIS my friends was ITALIAN GOODNESS. So I walk up to the counter and discuss how this was different than Abo's, blah blah, and proceeded to order what would soon become olfactory orgasmic response. To explain, we (my fiancee and I), ordered some calzones because Old Chicago is too expensive and I don't get that "umami" feel from my tastebuds when I eat it. I mean, seriously, it's Colorado but a transient state such as ours might hold some weight sometimes, RIGHT? Absolutely correct! The calzones were perfect and the aroma when opening the take-out bag was enough to make my stomach yell, "feed me Seymour!". My name is Jimmy, by the way, but that is of no relevance to my experience. My sometimes picky fiancee of partly New York roots, praised the food AND my choice in the establishment and gave the big 10-4 (all is clear)! My opinion was the same, although I feel that ricotta cheese is a tasteless, tinier chunked form of cottage cheese...but that was immediately debunked by the explosion of flavor in my mouth. Your mom's cooking SUCKS compared to Massino's and NO IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZABLE RESTAURANT (not including real nice restaurant style establishments), CAN HOLD A FLAME to this place! And as far as the customer service goes, if I was ordering from a huge chain, I'd expect really nicey type dialogue, but Massino's is SO LEGIT, they can be middle-ground in my opinion. Be real with yourself and eat here! Pause for a minute for ONE complaint. The white sauce was, EH. Don't like it at all. If you want ROBUST, go with the regular sauce...although, it would kick MAJOR ass if it had a little more of something I can't quite explain. That said, everything I've eaten BUT that white sauce was killer. 5 stars just because I believe in you.

Alright yelp fans, here is my review of this pizza place. The best word I could use is meh. we ordered food via delivery. The food was delivered rather quickly We received it in about 45 minutes to an hour. I ordered a large Hawaiian pizza, Chicken wings, meatballs And a chef salad. The pizza was cold and very undercooked. the dough with still kind of gooey. the chicken wings were cold and very bland. when you took one bite into the wings and got past the sauce you would taste no flavor. The meatballs were cold and bland and was drenched in a canned marinara sauce. the salad was tiny covered in cheese crumbles and the blue cheese I ordered had no blue cheese in it it just looked like mayonnaise and they forgot the rest of the ingredients. my wife and I like supporting local places but when they're this bad and for the price it wasn't worth it. I paid about $44 for everything and to be honest with you it just wasn't worth it bland food cold food and a pizza that kinda rivaled Little Caesars. if you read any of my other reviews you will notice that I don't like using the same words over and over again but the only words I can use to describe this place our bland, cold and meh. Ive read some people like this place so I say give it a shot but from my experience it's not very good.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
