Bad experience. .... bad customer service acted as though I got on his nerves as I ordered. It was 30 $ for two meals and for the taste, I'm very disappointed. I asked for ranch expected to be charhed he took my dollar gave me ranch them literally a min later someone else asked for ranch and he just gave it to him. Why was my ranch a dollar but someone else's free. Totally wack! Never goin back

The house special is the way to go. I typically don't like all that stuff on a sand which but he way he makes it is amazing. Highly recommend this location.

We LOVE this place!! The Phillys are amazing and the house special is the way to go! As my boyfriend puts it, 'it's the place to go for a MAN'S sandwich!' Customer service is excellent too... The owner is super nice!

Nothing too special but good for a cheesesteak fix. Had the mushroom cheesesteak. Was a little light on the cheese tho.

Amazing chicken philly! Definitely one of the best I've had. A great hole in the wall restaurant. Owner was there and extremely friendly. Highly recommended!

This was my first time here and I was craving a philly. Not a difficult task to make an edible philly. And that's exactly what this place has to offer. A mediocre sandwich for a premium price. If I am going to pay $8 for only a sandwich, i expect something more than mediocre. The reason for two stars is based on my experience and the lack of customer service that came with it. Appears the owner is washed up and has given up on why he originally started in the first place. Time to change things up or shut the doors. It satisfied my craving but I won't ever be back.

Never heard of lettuce on a Philly but that's ok I won't go back anyway... The bread is mushy and it just sucks, It's not a true Philly cheese sandwich anyway. So if you go and you want a real Philly you will be pissed...

Very regular. Yeah that's how I would explain the cheesteaks here. A little salt would kick the flavor up a bit, otherwise the food is ok I guess. I've been here a few times nothing noteworthy about the food, but the people are generally friendly. On a cold day I would suggest getting the food to go though, because I don't think the heater works to well in here.

Place is decent, nothing memorable but nothing bad either. I completely agree with the poster below that a little more salt would be nice. In response to Cheri's post below, I WISH there were more cheesesteak places in Aurora. The only places reasonably close to me in Chester's and South Philly's. I can go down to Hampden to Taste of Philly but if I need to go it's a little far. So is Pat's- my fav.

This place tastes amazing, and you can choose which topping you have in your philly just like any other place! Atmosphere- Small cute place, just like most Philly places I've ever seen. Everything was clean and inviting! Service- The employees were great and personable. Very friendly, and it was also quick. Food- Holy smokes my sandwich was amazing; just hearing and smelling it as it was cooked was almost torture because I couldn't wait to eat it! I CHOSE to get the philly with lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, and pickles; and I'm very happy that I did. Food was incredibly hot and I really liked that I could see the chef cooking it. Price- Perfect price point! 8 dollars for a sandwich that fed me twice and left me stuffed both times. Overall experience- This place is really great and I will most certainly make a habit of visiting. Hope you enjoy your visit as much as my husband and I did!

Food was amazing. There is limited seating but that is the only negative. Customer service was great too! I had the works cheesesteak, and it was phenomenal!

The house special steak sandwich is delicious. I highly recommend it. On another day, I ordered their supreme burger. There was nothing supreme about it. It was cooked charcoal black and I had to return it to get another one. It was okay. If you visit here, get their steak sandwiches. No other place compares. For hamburgers? It's okay but nothing to rave about. The fries are okay; standard string fries. Lots of people do come here for their steak sandwiches.

Guys could be a little more friendly, eff it...a LOT more friendly. While we ordered, the cook and cashier stood there with blank and apparently irritated looks on their faces as we figured out what we wanted. It took us maybe 2 minutes tops. Strike one. Secondly, there was no suggestions offered during our decision making process. Some people scoff at this as being, "you're an adult, figure it out" kinda thing, but it DOES build repore and establishes some form of trust for first-timers. Strike two. Well the sandwiches were as expected. They were tasty enough to calm the hunger, but not as good as a few other places I've been to: Taste of Philly, Pat's, and Abo's. But overall, as I've got to give credit, the sandwiches were tasty enough to compete taste-wise, but not rise above the competition. Overall, if the atmosphere was more inviting (including the staff), and the selection was just a bit more robust (since two formerly offered menu items were merely blacked out on the menu instead of being removed, thus not conjuring an, "I wonder what those were/why aren't they offered anymore" response), this place might be more on the map. Three stars...just for being more accessible in the Aurora area.
