Staff was great. My mom uses a walker and they were very helpful getting her to the table. Too bad the other customers weren't. One women refused to move out of the isle and said something rude to us; not the IHOP's fault, just a very disconserting experience. Food was ok, I did not expect fine dining so we were satisfied. I will think twice about taking mom there again on a weekend.

THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE RAZED AND QUICKLY! DIRTY, FILTHY, PUTRID -and this IHOP location has been closing a lot lately for so-called "remodeling" which never occurs and they leave a sign on the door and then reopen the next morning. So I am sure they are spraying for roaches at this hellhole and from what Peter W. says - looks like the roaches are winning at this IHOP! So, anyway to my awful experience 2 nights ago at Le IHOP at 52nd and Wadsworth in Arvada. Went about 9 PM with a friend and ordered crepes and hot tea and she had pancakes and coffee. So, that can't be too difficult of an order to accomodate right? WRONG. What is interesting is that the server - Juan did not mess up the order completely. He just let the pancakes sit under the heatlamp for an eternity. Juan also apparently has been instructed to NOT allow hot tea drinkers to have more than a 1/3 pot of hot water. The first pot he brought did not even give me a full cup of hot tea, so then I had to track him down again and please ask for more hot water. I assumed he would just bring me a full pot this time as IHOP has always done at this location since 1994. NOOOOOOOOOOO. So, I dig in and the Nutella crepes are very good and the hash browns are crisp and made just right. My friends pancakes were cold because Juan was goofin off in the kitchen. However, by the time I got to my last crepe I wanted some more tea - because at this point even with the waitor bringing 2 mainly empty pots of hot water I still could only make a cup and a half of tea. I did not want to inflame the ever hostile Juan again so I decided to ask the nice blonde waitress who knows what she is doing (she's waited on me before and is always a professional and knows what the hell she is doing!) if I could please have a full pot of hot water so I could enjoy a full cup of tea. So, I thought things were ALL good until Juan came back absolutely infuriated with a pot of water - and you guessed it - not even a third of the way full!!!! OK, easy solution to this server with the bundyesque temper - all you have to do is bring a full pot of hot water the first time and that's it! It is merely tea. You act like you have never served a cup of hot tea in your life and your scary temper is not acceptable. Also, maybe you should spend some time retraining with the smart, professional pretty blond waitress who works there - because she always knows what she is doing and has been there way longer than you. Also, if you are going to be employed waiting tables than you are going to have to anticipate on coming back to the table once in awhile to top off drinks, see if everything tastes ok, etc. Then I would not even have to bother the other server who IS doing her job correctly and having to do your job as well. And to IHOP itself - are you guys having a water shortage there in Arvada - is there some reason I have to beg, plead and nearly do handstands to get 2 full cups of tea? Then you have to beg, plead and do even more handstands to get the receipt at the end of the meal so you can pay the bill. I did do your survey from the information that was given on the end of the bill via 1-800 number. Very useless to me though because I never ever plan on eating at your horrible, disgusting, dirty, water rationing so-called restraunt again. Your corporate office can save their free short stack of pancakes for answering the survery. And why is it you tell the consumer "leave their phone #" if they would like corporate to return their call regarding their dining experience because no one calls you back anyway. IHOP could care less about this particular location anymore - and I am shocked they even have a 1 1/2 star rating on YELP. Look at all these reviews IHOP - you have food poisoned some on here, subjected others to filthy cockroaches and all with a horrible, rotten attitude everytime. You have just lost yet another customer IHOP - good goin. PS - One more VERY crucial point - DO NOT use the ketchup containers at this particular IHOP. I was in there a couple of months ago and this awful, old man LICKED yes LICKED the excess ketchup off of the top of the ketchup bottle then clicked the plastic cap back down! Of course I notified a waitress that it might be a good idea to discreetly throw out this now contaminated bottle of ketchup which she did. However, she informed me that this man eats there everynight. Are you fellow Yelpers gettin my drift? The crazy ketcup licker dines there everynight - so most likley he has licked them all at some point. So I inform the manager that this could be a serious health code violation and get this - he tells me "We will take off all of the ketchup bottle lids after we close and boil them all then replace them." Yeah right IHOP - yeah right liars. What a dive.

I love pancakes and Ihop's ones are not bad... but this restaurant in Arvada is just plain dirty.

I had the steak and eggs; the steak tasted a little not-so-great. I spent the next two weeks with the worst food poisoning I've ever had in my life, sleeping on the bathroom floor and praying for death. I couldn't even keep down water for a few days. It was really, really, really bad. Don't eat here. Seriously, don't. Maybe the other locations, but this one gets the lifetime ban. I'm tempted to go over there right now and burn it to the ground.

Uh..... so I'm the only person who hasn't seen a cockroach nor had bad food here. However, I did use the ketchup and now I'm totally grossed out! LOL We eat here every once in a while with my in-laws-to-be for breakfast. Always busy and the seating is usually slow. Service is ok, my food is ok and I've never had problems otherwise. I wouldn't say the food is the greatest, but after a morning run I end up eating it all anyhow. Ewww, gross, yuck. I think I will suggest another IHOP for us to eat at next time. Bugs on the wall are geerrrossss!

I have been coming here for years. For the last couple of years the service has been spotty at best. But the last six months has made me question why I even bother. Today was the last time I will ever waste my money at this restaurant. The manager was being rude to the waitresses and had an attitude with the customers. The waitresses and the front hostess filter that attitude to the customers. Our waitress was rude and confrontational. I can't say how the food was because we got up and left. I was not going to pay to be treated like I was an inconvenience.

My most recent visit here was when the place was being remodeled. While that will help the decor, they need to take out some of the staff along with the construction debris and start over because they are slow and surly. Food wise it's an IHOP, you pretty much know what your going to get. But this location served me a luke warm chicken fajita omelet that made me wonder if the kitchen staff had hit the bong a little too hard the night before and weren't paying attention to their duties that morning. 2 Stars. Stay on I-70 and find somewhere else to eat until this place gets truly rehabbed...and that includes replacing the staff and not just the walls.

We had a great breakfast here the other day. It was standard...ihop...what you might expect...I guess? It was a decent breakfast that I enjoyed. It was inexpensive. The food came timely. Our server was very busy and very attentive. Based on the previous reviews I might have expected to eat gross looking food with hair in it...but that simply was not the case when I ate there.

Food and service is always fantastic! I love coming here past 8 and the waiters and waitresses are all in a good mood and the food is always delicious!

Other than the fact that a large glass of orange juice here costs the same as a whole gallon at the grocery store, when we went there it seemed like an owner/manager was watching over everything. He was very obviously getting in the hostess' way and the overall vibe in there made it feel like nobody was happy he was around. Our server was kind and efficient. No problems there. The food tasted fine going in, but both of us got pretty sick for the rest of the day. I had even made a comment while we were there (I had walked to the bathroom and peeked in the kitchen on accident, where food was piled up sitting and waiting and it seemed like a hot mess) that I hope we didn't get ill from the breakfast. Murphy's law, I guess, that we did. I'm not sure what is going on here, but it seems like it's not a problem with the staff, but more an interference of corporate/management. I just hate seeing that. We'll travel a little further and go to a hole-in-the-wall local place next time.

Ok, so I usually avoid most chains, but a delicious breakfast at IHOP is always a nostalgic meal for me. This was no exception. Those delicious pancakes, eggs, and hashbrowns-- that aren't fancy but just darn good. I usually get the special, whatever over-the-top pancake variation they have at the time, with two over medium eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon. This delightful combination never fails to evoke some really great childhood memories for me. This location in particular was great. Our server was awesome, and the manager was very present and working hard to keep his restaurant clean and pleasant on a busy Saturday morning.

I am a big breakfast fan but there are several things I did not like about this location. There were barely any other customers when I stopped in to eat but yet it took forever to receive our food. When eating my pancakes, I was literally down to my last two bites when I looked down and there was a long hair underneath the serving. I just about barfed up the entire meal I had eaten and I have not went back to this location since. Super gross!!!!!

I've eaten here many times. I don't recall the restaurant being dirty, including the restrooms. The food is usually consistently the same and cooked right. A majority of the serving staff are friendly and efficient. You do get the random newbie or person who just doesn't care. My husband enjoys coming here, so we will come back if I can't persuade him to go somewhere else first.

I came here recently and ordered the French Toast Cinnestack. Now, some people question why they are fat...not me. It's tasty entrees like this that made me the lovable fat guy that I am. I struggled to finish everything but I did it. The place was packed and there was a wait. If you are going on Sunday try not to hit it during the church rush. If you have eaten at an IHOP they are pretty standard all across the US. You know what you are going to get. Plus, it's better than Denny's.

Place was tidy and my visit was late, after 9pm on a weekday. Needed pancakes... badly. They were strictly average, but saying that, I mean average for a chain restaurant. That means no real maple syrup, and I can make much better ones at home, had I the time and energy to do so. I like pancakes as a dessert food, so I got the chocolate chip variety. When I was done, I was sad that this was the best they could do, given the name of the restaurant. I've visited other IHOPs around the country, and to me, they are all pretty much the same - slightly disappointing. The server was fine, the order was brought correctly and timely for me and my companion, the cost was reasonable. The 2 star review (not three for average) is because of the food quality, nothing else. The rest of the experience was "acceptable". Thank goodness for Yelp, which I re-discovered after this dining blah. Now I know where to find the good stuff :)

I don't know if their pancakes are any good here but their meals are terrible. I ordered spaghetti and it tasted like cardboard shavings with tomato juice on it. Their service was equally poor, they kept forgetting things and the horriblemeal that I was about to have took them forever to make. I sat by other people and they were equally given the same treatment.

DON'T GO! Okay, now that I've said that let me tell you why. Walked in with the family and a friend for an evening dinner of pancakes and whatnot. Wait staff was excellent - friendly, attentive, there when you needed her and gone when you didn't. Food was okay, nothing special. But, and as Pee Wee says, "Everyone has a big but." this but is a Kong sized but, or maybe even bigger - Queen Latifah kind of but. As we were finishing our meal the Mrs. elbows me, and with large, horrified eyes surreptitiously points to the wall across the aisle. There, scooting in all its arthropodic glory was a cockroach. There, I said it - cockroach. I said it then too, but my wife elbowed and shushed me. Now I've lived in this gorgeous state forty-some years, and I have never until this evening seen a cockroach in Colorado. Florida: the size of chihuahuas yes (I'm of the opinion that you shouldn't hear insects when they walk). Texas: hell yes pardner. California: no prob yes. New York: waddya think! Mexico: La Cucaracha? Si! Japan: Gokiburi hai!. In a sauna in Detroit as they came streaming out of the woodwork and I'm screaming-like-a-third-grade-girl in a Kafkaesque nightmare yes. Now I can add, thanks to IHOP, Colorado. Now, in defense of IHOP, their food was no worse than other sit-down-and-cram-your-face restaurants that my 15 year old son and his friends prefer (tonight was his choice, not mine.). The service was really quite good, and on the surface, it looked clean. It could be that the wall crawler (really, scooter. They are surprisingly fast!) had just arrived that day from a shipment from a supplier and was checking out his/her new environs when it scooted past my view. So I don't know and I want to give them the benefit of doubt, because I'm hopelessly naive that way. I will call the manager tomorrow though. And the Health Department. Anyway, now I'm formicating (The sensation of insects crawling on you. Rhymes with fornicating but really pretty much different.) and that's not a feeling you want to leave a restaurant with.
