A friend and I went to Ju Ju Thai on a Friday night and found it empty save for two middle aged gentlemen. I have no idea why, though, since the place was absolutely fantastic. The decor was nice, a little sparse, and the restaurant was clean. Red napkins folded into fans and set upright on plates adorned every table. I worried the prices might be a bit much, but they turned out to be no worse than you might find at a neighborhood Chinese restaurant, for example. For thirty dollars we got two Thai teas, a soda, a bowl of pho, a plate of drunken noodles, and a plate of fried bananas and coconut ice cream. And it was all amazing, too. The staff was very attentive and wonderfully friendly, on top of everything else. One word of advice if you like spicy food: when they say "fire" they really mean it. I'm used to asking for food extra spicy at restaurants and having it end up only a little hot. That isn't the case here; the drunken noodles I ordered were so hot I almost couldn't take it. If you're going spicy, get a Thai tea. It cooled my mouth down almost immediately.

Ju Ju Thai has some of the best thai food in the valley. Favorites include their Panang Duck, Basil Chicken, and Drunkin Noodles. All are very flavorful. Not only is their food top notch, but their service goes above and beyond. I placed a phone order and when I arrived here was some confusion with my order (probably due to my poor cell reception when calling in the order). Not only did Ju Ju make it right, they didn't charge for the more expensive order and gave me an extra dish for free!!!. I was already a fan of Ju Ju, but their excellent service will keep me coming back when craving Thai in the valley. Sometimes the portion sizes can be on the smaller side is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

My second visit to Ju Ju Thai for lunch. When we entered, the restaurant was empty. The unquestionable highlight of my meal was the calamari appetizer. At first I thought they were breaded chunks, but upon closer inspection the calamari came as rather large rings. They tasted out of this world! It was definitely some of the best calamari I have ever eaten. The sauce was also tasty, but the calamari was so good it really didn't need any. I had the Singapore noodles lunch. It was good, but not nearly as good as the calamari was. A word of warning: if you have a very low tolerance for spicy food, be wary of Ju Ju Thai. I ordered the noodles mild and they still had a little kick to it. My major complaint was that the egg roll which came with my noodles was horrible. It was mushy and didn't taste right, I only took two bites. I just hope I don't have any other reaction to it. It seemed like the egg roll went directly from the freezer to the fryer before it had the opportunity to defrost. Finally, I have two minor gripes: the lunch-size portion was just not enough food for me. And despite the fact that we were the only people in the restaurant, it took a really long time for our food to arrive.

The food was good. Portion was good. Price is good. I ordered to go but right when I walked in I was greeted. They offered me water even though I wasn't even dining in, which I appreciated a lot. The restaurant looks real clean and I like the environment a lot

The food was delicious and the service was excellent! Judy (the owner) was so personable and came out several times to check on us. A must try for foodies that want something different in Turlock!

Fellow Yelpers... thanks for the suggestion. I needed a location last week that I could pick up food from and bring to one of my clients. More than half the office had never tried Thai food, and Juju Thai Cuisine's food was a hit. Among the faves, the Ju Ju Wings, the Drunken Noodles, the Yellow Curry Chicken, and the Som Tum. I got a chance to get a taste of everything, and I concur with their comments, but would say that the Pad Thai, The Param Gai (Chicken/Peanut Sauce over spinach) was delicious also... So much so, that I'm going to bring it for a lunch tomorrow. I'm usually not the biggest fan of picking up food from downtown locations because the parking is not the most convenient. So, so busy... But the owner informed me there is a parking location right across the street. The owner and the server, are so kind and accommodating, and I truly if we were closer, this would be a regular hangout. Loved the food :)

Great service and very reasonably priced. Pad Thai chicken is a signature dish and is very tasty.

My hubby took me here last night for my birthday, and it was amazing. The staff and owner were over-the-top friendly and helpful. The food was amazingly fresh, attractive and delicious. Since it was my birthday, they brought me a complimentary dish of coconut ice cream, with warm banana mini egg rolls drizzled with honey. Will definitely return again and again.

My first visit was pleasant. Excellent customer service and the food was delicious. My kids are picky eaters when it comes to ethnic dishes, yet they manage to clean out their plates. My only complaint would be the portion size it was a little small than what we have experienced. Either way we enjoyed the ambience and flavors.

So glad to have a Thai restaurant in Turlock. The service can be very slow at times and having a tiny kitchen and one main cook can make dishes to take much longer than normal. The lunch special are the best deals since the portions are not big. They do get their Masaman curry right though! I am a fan! As long as you order to go or have patience to wait, give a try! Since it saves me a trip to Modesto and their Massaman curry is on the spot, they will have my business.

I can't get enough of this place. They've got it all. Spicy, tasty, noodles, soup, curries...name it, it's good.

Love this restaurant. Been here 3 times now and its delicious every time. Service is great too, very friendly and helpful. They have 4 levels of spicy and the dishes have so much flavor.

Favorite Thai place in Stanislaus County!!! The owner is kind, welcoming, and very involved. She makes sure everyone is satisfied... which I appreciate in a time where many things get passed by. Then there's the fantastic food. It's incredibly authentic and tasty. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu!!! Favorites are the Pineapple Fried Rice and the Yellow Curry and the Pad Kee Mao!!! On the flip side, the interiors could use some jazzing up, like more art on the walls or maybe some creative details. I think the space is still evolving. Bottom line, you're missing out if you haven't come here yet!

Oh what cruel fate is this??? Before I discovered Ju Ju Thai Cuisine I was going about my life under the happy assumption that Chong's Cuisine was the best and only Thai option in Turlock. Well, that was before Ju Ju Thai Cuisine came along and screwed my life up with it's mouthwatering orgasmic food! Let me tell you people, I am a FAN of Thai food and I have had it all over in many different states. Ju Ju Thai Cuisine ranks in the Top 3 of my all time favorite Thai restaurants. The way I initially judge a Thai place is by their Pad Thai. If you cannot get this dish right, you are not a successful Thai restaurant. Ju Ju's Pad Thai was amazing! The perfect amount of savory and spicy! It all got better from there. Tom Yum, Shanghai Noodles, Pineapple Fried Rice, etc... not one dish lacked flavor. None of them disappointed in the slightest! I am a fan. Be warned Ju Ju Thai Cuisine, you'll be seeing more of this Yelper!

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Have been there five times and not only is the food some of the best I have had but the service is stellar as well. The price of the food is under priced if you ask me for what you get. This is Turlock's hidden gem and should be checked out.

The Good. Having lunch with my girlfriend. The food is very tasty and flavorful. I got Pad Prim Khing hot and it was hot in flavor. Melissa got the basil chicken and it was delish also. The water was a refreshing lemon water. Nice touch. The Bad. We went for lunch and they were good lunch portions but I can be a piggy and always want a little extra to take home. The Ugly. Nothing but good here.

This place is very clean, wonderful service, and the food was delicious! It's family style kind of eating but the portions are good enough to pass around, making sure everyone gets some. The food is full of flavor and so good! Of all the food I've tried here, I can't say one bad thing. It was all delicious! You can't go wrong with the pad Thai. The basil fried rice and red curry is also good! (Pineapple fried rice is great if you prefer a more westernized, less spicy version of rice.) Their beef is the best I've eaten because it's so tender and flavorful (coming from a chicken person). Overall, you can't go wrong with anything you order here! :)

You know your Thai dish is good when you are sweating while eating it! This place is great place to get your spicy fix and the service is phenomenal. When I ask for spicy that is exactly what they give me.

  • Eddie D.

OMG! There yellow Curry is off the hook! I got the lunch special and their servings are great Great! I order it fire style "extra spicy" and the flavor was out of this world! The service is very good in my opinion and was able to receive my meal in a good timely manner. Highly recommend this place!

Wow this place has amazing food! The set up is nice, the service was great, and the food was delicious! The hot wings were one of the best I've had. It was sweet with the right amount of spice. The Ju Ju house fried rice was the best! I wish we had this place down south. I'll definitely come back on my next visit to Turlock.

The padthai is amazing. If you can, try it spicy. Great service and food. The owner is really nice and make it a point to make sure everything is how it's suppose to be.

This place is pretty okay and nice for Turlock. Though it is a Thai restaurant, there are Vietnamese dishes (including pho) and Japenese food (including sushi). However, walk in and the restaurant screams Thai with the name in its title and the Buddhist shrines. Look around and you will see a majority of the people eating Thai dishes and the occasional pho...at least during the 1.5 hours I was there. I would call this a Thai Fusion Restaurant. We ordered Tom yum chicken soup that was so-so. We barely touched it. Perhaps it was something that we needed an acquired taste for. We also ordered Pad See Ew and an entree I can't remember the name of. It contained meat over vegetables. One thing to note is that they do not serve rice as service with the meal. They charge extra. For their prices, the rice should be included as it is at every other Thai or most Asian restaurants. If they lowered their price and or increased portion, I could see charging for rice. Though I still wouldn't agree. The food was okay. I eat in SoCal and SF, so it really is difficult to compare. I'd give this place 2.5 stars.

Wow dinner was so yummy. We tried a couple of things and it was all great. The orange chicken was so lite and delicious. Pad thai noodles is def on the list to have again along with basil fried rice. Be sure to try the thai iced tea. Can't wait to go back.

  • Cheeks L.

Meh. The beef broth in the Pho lacked depth and flavor. Plus, it wasn't accompanied with the "standard" sides to put in it. The size was also lacking. For the same price, I can get an outstanding large Pho with all the trimmings. Plus, the Thai iced coffee tasted like cough medicine. I had to pour it out. I will however try them again for their green curry and see if I let this 2 star experience stand.

I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing; great portions, I usually take half of my meal home which becomes delicious leftovers. The staff is attentive and nice. The prices are low. The location is awesome because it's downtown. I love the feel of the place although it is dark in the restaurant. Overall it is one of my favorite places to dine in Turlock.

A hidden Thai gem in Turlock! I have nothing but good things to say about this place! My S.O. and I saw it's great, but few reviews on Yelp & decided to go here in between classes. This is the only Thai place in Turlock with good reviews. We happened to go there on their Grand Opening Day! We didn't get anything special or extra because it was their Grand Opening but that didn't really matter. We arrived at lunch time so we ordered off the lunch menu. My S.O. ordered the Thai Iced Coffee and lunch sized Chicken Pad Se Ew. It came with an egg roll on the side. The Pad Se Ew was so flavorful & delicious! It did not have that old oil smell like some restaurants do. The noodles, chicken, and veggies all tasted very fresh! The size portion of the lunch menu items was quite big. Easily enough for two to three people to split. I ordered the Yellow Chicken Curry with steamed rice. This also came with one egg roll. The curry was very well flavored. It was bursting with flavor! The potatoes were well cooked to a point where they weren't too mushy but weren't hard either. The chicken was cooked through very well and tasted fresh. The lunch portion of curry and rice was also pretty well sized. It was good enough for one hungry person or two semi-hungry people. There were two ladies working there. One took orders and one brought the food out. The time we went there, about 4-5 tables were occupied. Since we only had about 40 mins until we had to get back to school, we were kind of in a hurry but not too much. It did take the waitress some time to come & take our order. However, the food came out in a timely manner & was pipping hot :) Will I go here again? Heck yes!! Will I recommend it to others? Without a doubt! When you're a student at CSU Stanislaus and come here from out of town, you kind of have to depend on eating out if you have classes here all day. Although it's a little far from the campus, I know I will be making the extra drive to come here at least once every week or two weeks. Good Thai food is something Turlock lacked and now it doesn't because Ju Ju Thai Cuisine is now open :)

My husband and I went here for lunch right after they opened. We like to support downtown businesses. We didn't know what to expect, not having any other Thai restaurants in Turlock. We were pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent, all of the sauces were expertly crafted. Portions were generous. Both of our dishes were flavorful & fresh. We will definitely be making this place one of our mainstays. The ambiance was a bit sparse, but I imagine it will be developed as the place grows into its own. We are excited to have more diverse offerings in our hometown.

Best fresh spring rolls I've had...love em. Peanut sauce so good. We had the yellow curry and the tom kha gai. All were very good. Service was perfect. Place is very clean and tidy including the restrooms. Prices were good. Will be back and will recommend. Come on Turlock give them their beer and wine license! So happy to have Thai in Turlock along with all of our great downtown choices.

Love the great service and nice atmosphere. I've tried a lot of Thai restaurants and grew up with Thai food all my life, so I must say this one is definitely one of the top to must try. I enjoyed the shrimp rolls and spring rolls for the appetizers. I also had the pad see eww which is the big pan stir fry noodles with such delicious favors. Also, I must say if you ask for spicy you get spicy, which I appreciate it. Thai chilies are no joke but if you love to kick it up a notch, ask and you'll receive! I will definitely be going back.

BEST food!!! Everything was sooo good, I cant wait to eat there again. Their Thai Tea was one of the best I've had! They had the nicest girls working and they all had great service!

Location: at the west end of Main Street of Turlock, part of downtown (old town). Setting: simple with lower ceiling so the noise level was high. Food: traditional Thai. Appetizer sampler has much smaller size than expected. Entrées have many choices but an additional $2 would be added for seafood or shrimp. All dishes have almost the same sauce, and relatively small quantities for the price. Parking: on the street and free.

Delish , delish .... It was my family's first time trying Thai food and o must say not only was it great , but everything was explained to us very well and the service was great! Def must try if in the area.

FINALLY, FINALLY A GREAT THAI RESTAURANT IN TURLOCK!!! This place has been open for about 2 wks. I love Thai -my favorite Thai dishes are 'pad see ew with chicken' and 'pad prik king with beef'... it's hard to find a place that can make them well. I've gone to other Thai places all over California and it's hard to find the real deal. I usually drive to Merced to Thai Cuisine restaurant near G st./16th...no other place has come close UNTIL NOW! The serving size was great for the price ($7.95/plate). Great service - the owner came out to talk to us to get feedback on food, prices, and service. The food was awesome - I suggest the pad prik king with white rice for those who like spicy food - its not too spicy, but has a good savory heat. Other customers were raving as well... This would be a good date night place for dinner and then drinks across the street at Dust Bowl Brewery!

My friend and I were so excited that a Thai restaurant opened! Ordered the papaya salad lao style and it was horrible. It had a sesame oil taste to it which may had been due to the chilis being toasted with rice powder to spice up the laab. The papaya shreds looked transparent as if it had been sitting out for awhile. The taste itself was not great. We couldn't taste the padet, which is fermented crab. It was just bland. We had to add in the shrimp paste and crab paste to it at home. As for the restaurant itself, it was empty when we went in at 6:28pm. All the workers just stared at us as if we were strangers entering the store until we got closer to the register, which was across the restaurant. Workers seemed nice but I will give them the benefit of the doubt since they did just open. The portion we received for $7.48 was so small! I will admit, I rather drive 30 minutes to Merced to get $5 worth of papaya salad which is also a larger portion than what I had receieved. May try other dishes, but c'mon papaya salad is one of Thailand's main dishes. If they can't get this slightly right, I am skeptical of trying their other dishes. Padthai for 9.95?! Pho for 6.95 but only sliced beef; no other meats like meatball, tendon, or flank. And their springrolls are $5.95 for 2?! That's a little overpriced for a place that doesn't seem so fancy. Look forward to yelp #2 when we try out other dishes.

We came for lunch and service was friendly and fast. I had the yellow curry with chicken and the flavors were on point. The only suggestion I have is more potato and carrots were needed in the curry. I had literally one potato and an over abundance of onions. In any event, the rice was perfect and the Thai ice tea was great. Prices were reasonable too. We'll be back.

First time trying this place.( I'm sitting here now writing this review , while waiting for my fried banana & coconut ice cream. So far - I'm excited that I finally found a great Thai food place out here! It's so good (so far lol) and I must say , I ordered 10 different things off the menu & every plating was awesome. Service is great, friendly and attentive. Now I just got done having my deep friend banana & coconut ice cream & I'm even more in love. (Tip- switch out vanilla for coconut ice cream) on a last note-?after eating all this food , you don't feel weighted down & heavy:) and can walk down Main Street & take a look at all the cute stores to shop at.

This is definitely one of my regular dinner spots in Turlock. The food is good and affordable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There's nothing really bad to say, except that sometimes they're too busy.

The food here is so fresh and delicious . We had so many great things I don't know where to start. The following was excellent, Basil Fried Rice with Shrimp, Beef Pho Pineapple fried rice. Chicken chow main. It is more of an Asian fusion type place . Hands down BEST Asian food around the Turlock area. The flavor in every dish was amazing I can't believe this place is in Turlock. Oh and the service was FANTASTIC!

  • Carlos L.

Well I really would like a Thai restaurant to succeed in Turlock being there's little or none. That being said, here goes. Decor was nice. Food is really overpriced considering the small portions. Egg rolls were cold in the middle. I ordered the Po-Tak soup which is supposed to be a spicy seafood soup with a hint of lemongrass. It had so much mushrooms and so little seafood that the mushrooms overpowered the soup. Then I had a noodle dish made but for some reason they brought a cold noodle dish served on a bed of lettuce. Was expecting a piping hot noodle dish like most Thai restaurants but ok.. chalk this one up to a misunderstanding, I hope. Anyway, I hope you succeed. I'm willing to give you a second chance. Lower your prices, increase your portions, and don't get creative with the dishes. Stick to authentic Thai. Eat a little Thai in SF or LA if you need to and see what makes a successful Thai restaurant.

  • Stephanie J.

This Thai restaurant has huge potential. I look forward to going back and am hoping to be able to add a couple of stars to my review after I do. Awesome: The food tastes amazing. I ordered three dishes: Basil Chicken, Drunken Noodles, and Panang Curry Duck. All three were fantastic - perfectly cooked, authentic, and absolutely delicious. Not so awesome: The portions are really small. I ordered take-out for dinner, paid $40 for the three dishes, and was shocked when I got home. I expected standard Thai dinner portions - and I eat Thai every chance I get and anywhere I can. These were maybe half the size of standard portions, not even a lunch portion. The only exception were the drunken noodles - that was a standard portion size, but was about three times the size of the Basil and Panang dishes. In sum: if the food hadn't been so delicious and at dinner prices, I wouldn't be complaining about portion sizes. But the fact is, for two people the three dishes just weren't filling. And when food tastes that good, you definitely want it to fill you up! With an increase in portion sizes, this place could become my go-to spot for Thai food as it could very well be the best in the area.

I ate here the other day and FINALLY an AUTHENTIC Thai restaurant! I brought my friend that was worried her favorite Thai dish, larb beef, would be an upset since it's hard to find restaurants that make it correctly but she was super satisfied with everything too! I ordered red curry XXX spicy, chicken satay and pho for my daughter. The pho was so perfect she didn't want to add any additional ingredients as were accustomed to. My entree and appetizer was exceptional! My red curry was spicy, just how I like it. Most places won't even put as much spice in my order even when I ask them to make it SUPERRRR spicy. I'm not too sure what the other reviews are talking about as far as portions and prices. This place isn't a fast food restaurant. It's a sit down restaurant and prices are comparable to any other Thai restaurants I have been to. Portions are comparable as well. Not sure if people expect it to be like a Chinese restaurant where you order a combo meal for $6. Definitely not the same kind of restaurant, if that what your expectations are then Panda Express is what you want? The owner and server was so pleasant and attentive to everyone in the restaurant. I've recommended this place to many people already. One of my coworkers brought her entire family for dinner and she returned later that evening for more dessert because she said "it's that good!" Definitely a MUST TRY!

My boyfriend and I showed up on a Friday night about 20 minutes before closing and we were seated right away with all the politeness in the world. We weren't rushed or made to feel like we should and we enjoyed some of the best Thai food in the area. They are a new restaurant and it was a bit evident when ordering our food because the waitress didn't have all the menu items memorized to their respective numbers and we had to point them out to her but that is forgivable for the time being especially considering the quality of the food. In addition, they cooked my boyfriend's dish to the level of spiciness he desired which was spot on. They have a great menu with more to come such as a sushi menu labeled,"coming soon!" I know I'll be back soon! I'm excited to see how Ju Ju develops their business and menu. I recommend to anyone who enjoyed quality Thai food with great service.

Not good. All the sauces tasted jarred and everything was overtly sweet. I get that thai food is supposed to "hit" all the flavor points, but if they put this much sugar in traditional thai food, they'd have a an obesity epidemic on their hands! The Pad Thai was a disaster! I swear the sauce had jiff peanut butter with honey as a main ingredient. I don't think I've had worse Thai food as yet. Try any other place. You'll be glad you did.

We received a very warm welcome. We enjoyed a light cup of hot tea and spring rolls. These rolls are much different from Chinese Spring rolls. They are very refreshing. Sandie had a bowl of soup & I had a noodle dish with vegetables, chicken, & shrimp. Our waitress & the lady owner were very intent on pleasing.

Food is good and I really want to like the place, but the portions are too small for the price and it doesn't have a clean feel. Definitely better places for Thai.

Can I say, "hella good". I was in the neighborhood and decided to check this spot out. The place is very nice and clean. Service was good. Last is the food; I had the honey salmon, basil stir fry, and basil fried rice. They were all very good. Will absolutely return next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Best service!!! Bomb food but a bit pricey for the proportions! Pho was pretty good, and the thai tea was bomb.com ! would come back because the customer service is top notch!

Sorry, but here's another place that over decorates and underserves! We came in after 1, plenty of tables. They took over 20 minutes to bring out 2 lunch-menu items. There was plenty of room on the plate for another meal. Flavors were fine, but I'm used to getting a lot more at an oriental restaurant. The price would have good if the servings were normal. Luckily there's another Thai restaurant in town that gives you a good meal for your money.

Came here for lunch and was underwhelmed. First there was no one available to seat you or even a sign that said to seat yourself. Eventually someone came to seat us but seemed as though he wasn't sure where to place us...awkward... As I start perusing the menu it seems to have a selection I'm accustomed to at my favorite Thai restaurant in Merced. However the portions are soooooo small! Apparently everything during lunch are "lunch portions". I eat healthy regularly but don't push portion control on me lol. Our waitress was soooo nervous she was shaking taking our order. She brought out the wrong dish and then we waited a very long time for our food. The food was flavorful, but I felt that the small portions made it seem like a tasting menu. It was rather ridiculous. We did get compensated with a 10% discount for the inconveniences we experienced. This place is new so I expect the wait staff to improve. I was told by our waitress that a side of rice is only available during dinner time. Um ok... I'll give it one more shot for dinner in a month or so. However if you're looking for authentic Thai food in the Merced area there's nothing better than New Thai Cuisine. Maybe the staff here should check it out for some pointers.

Pretty flavorful but like others have said the portions are rather small. It is the first time I have had Thai food and had none to take home. Clean environment and the wait staff was friendly and prompt. The coconut ice cream and fried bananas were heavenly.

My boyfriend and I came here over a year ago. The place looks very nice. Felt sophisticated, but quaint. We met up with another couple at the restaurant. The food was tasty, BUT, the reasons for my review were because my food came 25 mins after everyone else's at the table. And our waitress was very rudel. The manager was apologetic, which I appreciated, but the service was not spectacular or welcoming. Next time I'll make sure to get the food to go!

  • Shaun G.

Manager is extremely friendly. If you ask her about the large painting, she'll provide the best explanation. And the service is spot on. Plenty of space for small group. I recommend The drunken noodle because it is intoxicatingly delicious. The proportions are plentiful... Now if they were closer to my house.

I've been looking for a good Thai restaurant in Turlock and I've come across one of my favorites in the valley. Ju Ju Thai Cuisine was great. Came here on my lunch break from Stan State and I was really impressed. The restaurant was clean, the food was flavorful, and the service was excellent. I'll definitely be back again.

Fantastic Thai restaurant considering it's in Turlock. Their Drunken Noodles and Spring Rolls were both good, though the spring rolls were a bit too expensive for what they were. Serving sizes were on the small size, but the entree prices matched. Friendly service both times we've gone. The only major area for improvement I can see is in the wait times. I took some people from the office there at noon and it took almost the entire lunch hour for our orders to come out. Might just be because they're getting started and aren't prepared for a lunch rush yet, but it's critical that people on lunch can get in and out on time. Unfortunately this experience will mean I doubt I can convince anyone to go back during lunch.

I've never had Thai food before so I was a little unsure about this place. Based off a recommendation from a coworker I tried it out and I'm very glad I did. I had the pad Thai with beef and hot spices. It was probably in my top 10 dishes I've ever had. Absolutely amazing flavors and spices. Hints of peanut and lime sprinkled on top work well with the very spicy hot version of this dish. I will definitely be coming back here for the pad Thai alone. The pot stickers were average for an appetizer but the sweet dipping sauce made them delicious. Would give it more stars if I could. A+

So so so so good! I've always had to go to the bay area to find good Thai food, but JuJus is as good if not better than those places! The red curry is amazing!

I did not like this place at all and will not be going back. The server was nice but it took forever to get water, or for them to even take our order. We waited for about 15 minutes for them to even give us water and another 20 minutes to order then almost waited another 45 minutes just to get our food, which by the way we didnt because we walked out. It wasnt very busy it was pretty slow and people that were comming in after us got attention before we did. Not a good place at all.

Went here for dinner to try their pho and boy did we love it!!! Delicious, seriously delicious! My husband has tried all types of pho from tons of places and he loved it! We had the egg rolls for appetizer and it was the perfect portion. Then we had to try the basil fried rice... OMG the best rice I've ever had! Super fresh, delicious and good service! Give it a try, you will love the pho, rice and egg rolls for sure!!

We had their yellow and red curries with rice for lunch, which were fabulous! We ordered it at a medium heat, which was great, but will try the hot next time. Their Thai tea was so refreshing, service was friendly and prompt. You must try the mango/rice dessert! SO GOOD. We will be back for sure! Maybe even later this week...

By far my favorite Thai food in town. There egg roles are on point and you have to try their Singapore noodles. My friends and I love coming here and the staff are super nice. I like hoe they give you options for how spicy you want it. Come here and support local turlock businesses: )

Everything I get here tastes amazing. The pho has the best broth, and when you ask for your food fiery hot, that's what they give you. The pad Thai, tom yum soup and egg rolls are all great. I come here at least every other week for their pho.

Randomly I go to Turlock because I like the costco there better than modesto. After my long drive (10min) lol, I was hungry and being that Thai food is my favorite, I found Ju Ju Thai on my helper, Yelp. And it did me well, but also this seems to be the only Thai restaurant in town. It was a nice clean friendly atmosphere but more importantly the food, so much flavor and everything was the perfect portion. I had the basil eggplant stirfry, deep fried ribs, pineapple fried rice. Good flavor on all of it and perfect amount for two people. The owner was there and she was very attentive and sweet, she seemed very hands on, so you gotta appreciate that. I would suggest this place, I was there on a Monday and from what I heard they can get very busy on the weekends, when that downtown area gets packed.

Food was absolutely delicious!! We ordered the beef pad thai, chicken basil and thai iced tea, all which were wonderful. We also splurged and got the ice cream with fried banana. YUM!!!! I would definitely come back!

I'm happy that we are finally getting different types of food in Turlock! For a long time, it was nothing but Mexican and chain restaurants. This is a great little place and their food is both good and affordable. For people that are scared to try Thai food, they also serve Chinese food and sushi!

Great food! I've had some good Thai and this place is solid. The Basil Fried Rice and Green Curry were fantastic. The kitchen seemed a bit overwhelmed, but the staff was very courteous and did their best to make up for the delay. Definitely going back. Great addition to downtown Turlock!

For the prices they charge the food is good enough. Had pad Thai which wasn't the best. Lemon chicken which is like orange chicken which was tasty and flavorful. Also had the curry which was excellent. Try this place out.

I was excited to hear that Ju Ju serves pho but it was a little lack-luster. No fresh thai basil, fresh jalepenos or cilantro was served with it, which is my favorite part. It wasn't the best pho I've had but I will definately go back again since Turlock doesn't offer any other pho options. A few fresh herbs go a long way in my book....

I had a great experience here and the service was very welcoming. The Ju Ju house salad was delicious. The basil fried rice is a twist of your regular fried rice which I definitely enjoy. I can't wait to go back!

Singapore Noodles! Basil Fried Rice! Mango w/sticky rice dessert! Super nice people! Great how they fixed up the old place into something modern and tasteful, not too cluttered. China Village was at this location a long, long time, let's hope JuJu is more permanent!

First time trying this palace and so far I have mixed feelings about it. I ordered basil fried rice with beef, red curry, and pad thai. The basil fried rice with beef was excellent. Well priced, portion and good taste. The red curry was good but the price I felt was too much for a small bowl of curry. They didn't even serve a small side of white rice for this dish that I felt necessary. Lastly the pad thai was really good, flavor portion, and price. The service was excellent and friendly. Overall the food was excellent, the service was great, but the price kinda pricey.

Really great Thai food away from the Bay. Its amazing they settled in the Central Valley, but we appreciate the gem they are. Staff is attentive and very friendly. The previous complaints about slow service have obviously been addressed, because we thought it was right on time.

A delight for Turlock. You know it's good when two local restaurant owners where also eating at JuJu's Girls night out. Had spring rolls. So fresh and sauce was amazing. Friends and I shared drunken Noodles with chicken To die for. We also had basil fried rice with shrimp. It's going to be out Thursday hang out. We want to be known as the JuJu girls. Service excellent. Made us feel at home for our first visit.

Went here with my girlfriend for lunch while we were visiting farmers market on a Friday. We stopped in and ordered the fried pot stickers and had the chicken curry (yellow) and rice. The pad Thai that I ordered hadn't come yet and it was the best of them all. I enjoyed what we ate and didn't think I could stomach the pad thai but when we tasted it, it was just the right amount of spice and flavor. They do not have their liquor license yet which is fine considering I would probably drink and add to my bill but the cost is reasonable.

I've never been impressed by the food here, and I refuse to go here again for any meeting or event. It's not authentic Thai food. It's the blandest, nastiest Thai-inspired food I've ever had. Authentic Thai food has bolder vibrant flavors: lemongrass, galangal, peanut, Thai basil, kaffir lime. And those flavors are balanced. Juju's replaces alot of those flavors with just flat out sugar sweetness. Some people enjoy that, I guess I'm just not one of them. I've been disappointed by every dish I've had here. The red shrimp curry was a dry, tasteless disaster. The pad thai was gross. All their noodle dishes taste the same. It tastes like they use the same jar sauce on everything. When I go out for Thai food, I want a place that has good quality Jasmine rice, vibrant red curry, and tasty Satay with real thai peanut sauce. JuJu just doesn't do that for me. Plus, I think it's way overpriced and lunch portions are ridiculously tiny.

I was recommended by a friend to try this place. Now I'm the one recommending to friends. Great place for lunch, food is hot, and served quickly. The food tastes amazing and the staff is super friendly. Family owned restaurant just following their dreams. I will come back for sure.

We're so glad Turlock now has a decent Thai restaurant. My wife & I shared the Pad Se Eew, spring rolls, & egg rolls. All very good! Not the VERY best I've had but I'd give about an 8 out of 10 and will definitely be back. It could have a little more flavor, but still very good. Service was very attentive & polite. Decor is a little bland but as to be expected for a new restaurant. All our surroundings seem to be very clean 1 special little note: The very back booth bench against the wall must've been commissioned by Dick Cheny as it's torturous nature is fit for terrorist interagtions.

The service was a little slow but all the servers were friendly and professional. The food was really good (way better than what you'll get at Chong's). So nice to have a decent Thai place in Turlock.

Thank god there is finally a Thai place in in turlock! Tried chongs and there pad thai was way to sweet and dry, not to mention they barely give you any chicken. Gave this place a shot and I am very impressed. The pad thai taste great and actually has chicken in it! I also got the red curry which was also very good as well. Friendly staff and a nice little sitting area to sit down and eat. Needless to say, Ju Ju has my business going forward!
