An Independent Associate if mine and myself stopped here after attending the dmv down the street. This place is very competently managed who has restaurant experience elsewhere. By the way he explained that the Mimi's and other stores on the other side if Beach Blvd were closed because they were purchased to make room got Condos. There was no wait at 10 in the morning and I ordered the free birthday Grand Slam with coffee, and you can pick which four items you want. Our friendly and quick waiter Giovanni took our order with wit and aplomb. Ana Bell brought our meals right on time, both hot and quick. Melting butter on the pancakes, everything hot and tasty. A great start for a birthday anniversary. Well recommended, and we will return.

My friends and I usually go to Denny's whenever we want to grab a quick bite or it is late and all the nearby restaurants are close (basically our last resort). Oh, we also come to Denny's on our birthdays, free Grand Slam on the house. The food at this location are average, however, the service was slow. My friends and I ordered around 10:30 P.M. and we did not get our food until 11:00. One of my friends got a chocolate shake because he was not hungry, so by the time he finished his chocolate shake, the food still has not come out yet. After the waiter dropped off our food, we noticed that he forgot our juices. I looked around for him, but he disappeared. 10 minutes later, I finally spotted him and it was so hard to get his attention. The whole time we were there, the waiter never once come back to our table and ask us if we needed anything. Don't get me wrong, the waiter was not rude or anything, it was just that they did not hire enough workers so two waiters has to cover the whole restaurant.

This place was very packed, but not surprising considering it was a Saturday night. Since it was just two of us, we were seated relatively quickly. Our server was quick to bring us our drinks. We ordered our food about an hour after seating down, and quickly came the food. The food tasted pretty good, and above average compared to most other Denny's that I've frequented. The patrons here were a mix of different vibes, but I didn't see ghetto people here. It was mostly friends and families going out for dinner, and no late night druggies hanging around the building. LA locations, please take note, don't let Orange County outdo us in this arena.

Service can be a hit or miss depending when you go. I've been coming here more often because they have a lot of healthier food options since my boyfriend is into fitness and all that. I usually get the sirloin steak with corn and whole grain rice and my boyfriend gets the same thing but with fries and a side of toast with no butter. Very good prices for the portions you get. They added new food choices on their menu too, but I haven't had the chance to try them yet. There are other fitness friendly food that I haven't tried yet since I keep getting the sirloin steak, but I will definitely try it out next time!

This place doesn't get enough credit. I'm sure everyone who writes bad reviews has never worked in a restaurant before. Anyway, my family and I went there this last Friday at about 10-11pm and they were pretty steady. (I feel every time I'm there they're short staffed but that's not the servers faults). Our servers name was Enrique and the managers name was also Enrique both were very efficient and kind. As soon as we entered we were attended with great attitudes. We waited to be sat for only 1-2 minutes. As soon as we sat down the manager took our drink orders. We received our drinks promptly and just a short time after the server came to take our orders. He accommodated my parents by speaking Spanish to them. Despite the number of tables that clearly outnumbered the employees. We were still checked on several times and all of our food was delicious and hot. I can only hope that the management team can read this review and give credit where credit is due.

I came in around 920pm to order some to go dinner. Didn't get my orders until 10pm. I think this will be my last time here at this location. You guys need to hire more people.

Free birthday breakfast, no clubs to join....no bs...totally free and Awesome! Clean location, always full il local police. Can't beat the Grand Slam. Seasonal Red Velvet shake is also very good.

My family and I used to come here a lot when we first moved to our apartment but the service has gotten so bad we would rather drive to fountain valley to get better service. Most of the employees are nice but there isn't enough people working and they almost never return to our table to check on us once they drop off our food, we never get refills on our drinks unless we call them and that's after waiting a while. I hope the owner reads these reviews and does something about it because he's losing a lot of costumers.

Located in the same plaza as the Walmart Neighborhood Market and Del Taco. Not a hard place to find and there's plenty of parking. Walked in and was seated pretty quickly. What we got: Coffee ($2.10): regular coffee with a side of creamer. Sugars are already on the table so flavor it to your liking! It was just a regular cup of coffee! Build Your Own Slam ($6.60): I got it with 2 pancakes, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and 2 slices of bacon. Pancakes were nice and fluffy. Hash browns were a little too soft, it would have been much nicer if it was just a little bit more crunchy. Scrambled eggs were well...scrambled eggs and they give you a lot so I didn't even get to finish it. One of the bacon was too chewy and the other one was super crispy... Lumberjack Slam ($10): comes with 2 pancakes, ham, eggs, hash browns, 2 sausages, 2 slices of bacon, and toast. Ham was a little too dry so we didn't even finish that... Service: I thought it was lacking. It took a little while to take our order, but it didn't take that long for our food to come out. But our waitress didn't even ask if we needed anything else! She just dropped off the food, smiled and left. I like to put cholula on my hash browns...but no one was around for me to ask them for it. No one came by again during our meal either. We had to flag down the waitress for the check while she was helping another table. Take the check and walk it up to the front to pay!

Decent. The food was passable, the management was friendly and my waiter initially was friendly. He didn't come back to my table after I ordered and got my food/drink but I also didn't need him aside from the check at the end. So it was a wash. But, if I did need him, it would have been annoying to try and hunt him down. I've been here a couple times and mostly it's always been so-so; the wait staff is very hit and miss.

Dennys is type of a restaurant that I always leave as the last resort. The quality of the food at Denny's is typically below average. Customer service is normally a little above average and because of that I am giving this danny is 3 stars instead of 1 star.

  • Amber E.

They had nothing here! Every time we asked for something they would come back saying they didn't have it. The staff was also focused on some other situation outside instead of focusing on their customers. Very dissatisfied. Never coming here again.

No ice coffee, no pickles, no Dr. Pepper, no dressing for salads, bread on my burger fell apart instantly. And to top it all off waiters and manager were distracted with something going on outside that our food were under heat lamps for quite awhile. Overall bad customer service. Very disappointed.

    (1)
  • Cassandra G.

Came in with friends and they had nothing we wanted. No coffee, ran out of certain toppings for burgers and didn't have dr. Pepper. The servers where more concerned with something going on outside then giving us our food that was sitting there under the heat lamps. The manager didn't have control of what was going on and didn't get the servers to attend to the customers. Very unhappy with this location!

Worst service I've ever received at a Denny's. Food was good but the service was really bad. My husband my kids and I went to have breakfast this morning and like I said before food was good but the waiter seems to be a little off first; she brought out food and forgot my sons fries, I asked her for fries she brought them 10 minutes after; ( she never went back to our table if we needed anything maybe once just to get the dirty dishes , second; I asked for water and a box 20 minutes pass by and nothing I asked again " water please" and she reply with " sure" like I haven't asked for water before , she brought the water and I asked her, again, for the box to go and she reply " oh would like a box to go?" When I have already asked her twice . Well 10 minutes passed and nothing no box I asked my son to ask someone for a box since we had leave, my son went ahead and ask for a box while a went to pay, when I was finish paying at the register I realize my son was still standing waiting for the dam box and nothing, I went to see what was going on and my son after he asked one the lady's for a box he was being completely ignore I got really upset left the food behind and left. Horrible service. Never again to this Dennis.

Ever since they opened a new club down the street I've been in here so many times. Me and my party peeps roll in here around 2am on Saturdays and we are HUNGRY after a night of dancing and misbehaving! The service is slow...the food is always decent enough...but we always have fun as we wrap up our night of festivities. We always have to ask for more drinks and more condiments...and mostly it's not the waiters fault...I just roll with some very annoying people. On a side note if you're looking to have a kiss with that someone special you just met at the club and you don't want all your friends and his friends to be looking...go behind the Denny's towards the dumpster and you will find a nice strip of grass where you can exchange your goodbyes. As long as you don't mind the smell of the dumpster (which passes quickly enough) it's really a romantic spot...or so I've been told =)

So our party of three came in on a Saturday night and we ca had to seat ourselves because no one was available to help us. There were 5 tables that weren't cleaned and we waited 15mins before we were even handed a menu. Long story short, we didn't even bother to stay.

Agreed with some of the bad reviews on here. Perhaps all. Can really relate to Courtney N's review. Very horrible service. Even the manager seems as if she is very slow and ignorant. My brother, cousins, etc. even told me this place had bad service after I told them my experience tonight. I ordered some breakfast for my girlfriend and I. Got home, ate the food, then started to eat the pancakes, didn't see any syrup, jelly, or the cream butter they were supposed to give us. called them back, told them they had forgotten to give those things, came back and they didn't even have it prepared. Notice the time, it was about 11:30PM on a Sunday night. After calling in like that, they should have known to have it ready due to the fact that they had forgotten something. Come to find out, they didn't even have it ready by the time I got there. Had to wait about 3 minutes for the manager to put the syrup in the cups and she even forgot the jelly. Had to ask for that AGAIN and had to wait while she walked back and got it. This is the MANAGER as well. But this doesn't only apply to her. She is the one who didn't have it prepared when she should have. Some Latino short stubby looking guy prepared my food when it was handed to me, he was the one who forgot the syrup, jelly, etc. how can you forget such things? As I mentioned the time earlier, it wasn't even packed. It was dead actually. So how do you mess up an order. My brother also told me how he went there before and got food with his friends and they forgot to put sausages in one of his friends order. Horrible service. Employees here have the brain of a goldfish. Very unorganized and unskilled. Manager should be fired by boss and some of the workers. Even the chef, as I mentioned how they were missing sausages in an order. My brother and his friends had 2 identical meals ordered and one didn't have sausages. What the hell is that? Some bull I say. Do not eat here, or if you do, do not tip. These guys don't do their job well. Ridiculously pathetic. Such horrible service. I do not recommend you to eat at this place.

The service isn't all that good, & even though the ratio for staff to patrons leans more towards staff, we've been waiting for our food for a good twenty minutes. Other people have had their orders taken & were served before us, even though they came after. Once we did get our food, two skillets, we were upset. One skillet's cheese wasn't melted & mine was cold. I literally could put my hand on top - my hand was warmer! Worse yet, when got our food "re-heated", my was still cold, messy, & somehow watery... What the hell...? The other skillet was sub par, below average, in other words, not worth a cent! After I sent my dissapointing skillet & received a re-made one, it hot, but lacking in flavor & was missing some of what I had ordered. To top it off, we asked for coffee refills & were given A.1. Steak Sauce! Um... really?! I hate this Denny's.

Great service, great food. Ordered the Grand Slam with chocolate chip pancakes. Our waitress Ana Bell was so spunky and cute! Very attentive considering how many tables she had. Had to wait a little while for our food but she was right there with extra napkins, refills and a great friendly smile.

I am so disgusted with this place. First of all, the dinner here sucks. It's pretty much disgusting. Second of all, the breakfast which is their main thing is mediocre at best. My family and I go here despite all its previous issues. But after today we're officially done. I ordered their seafood something from the (2, 4, 6, 8) menu. It came with a fish stick, and it was supposed to be 4 battered shrimp but they gave the the frozen ones, that were tiny so they compensated by giving me 6. For sides I chose mashed potatoes and corn. The corn was white and bland. And the gravy they put on my mashed potatoes was so gross when I poked at it with my knife it popped back up at me. It was a gelatin like gravy. NASTY. It took almost everything I had not to barf then and there. The one star which I have to give is probably because the manager apologized to me, and offered to give us a discount.

Lots of parking, lots of room inside and it is not hard to find at all. I come here often and the service is good and the food is just as good. On occasion it does take a little bit longer to come out but is understandable when the restaurant is busy. They bring you the check and you pay in the front.

Denny's at 2 am on a Saturday is a BAD IDEA. We stood around for 20 minutes waiting to be seated even though there were FIVE tables available! We finally got seated after telling the cashier that there's plenty of open tables and we're next on the list (four tables still open as I'm writing this btw). It still took another 15 minutes to just take our order. Drunk ratchet parties leaving the club means it's kind of rowdy at this hour. A party that came after us sat themselves even though there was a long list and the manager did nothing about it. They're seriously understaffed..

I've had semi-good and semi-bad experiences here, but the last time was so bad that I will NEVER go back. I asked if a specific dish had bacon in it and the unenthusiastic waitress said that they add the bacon after, so she could make it with no bacon for me. When the food came it clearly had bacon bits mixed in. I could taste it, I could smell it and I could SEE it! I politely told her, "I believe this has bacon in it." She says, "No." ...ooookay. So I say, "It does...I can see it right there." She says, "Well, I didn't add any. " No apology, no offer to bring a new one, just short, argumentative answers. Either A: There is already bacon mixed in as an ingredient and you are unaware of what is in the food you are serving at the restaurant where you work... Or B: somebody, maybe not you, but somebody added bacon because IT'S IN MY FOOD. Either way, you SUCK at your job and I will not be back. No tip for you.

We come here for breakfast often. The food is good. I am not sure of the server's name, but she has the best service, we end up getting her every time. She is very attentive and friendly. The wait has not been to bad when we go.

The service sucks, plain and simple. At 7 a.m. on a weekday morning, it was very slow, and still - the only 2 times I saw my waitress was when she took our order and when she gave us the check. Someone else brought the OJ and food....and NOBODY checked on us even once during the entire time in between. As she was handing us the check, I asked for more OJ (since my glass had been empty for 10 minutes). She pulled the check back, brought the OJ, and added another $2.70 charge to the check. Oh, and restaurant had NO bacon - 7 a.m. and no bacon to start the day. Lots of people were pissed. The 2 stars given are for the food tasting pretty decent. But don't waste your time here. You overpay for poor service.

Extra slow service even when this place is not busy. At other Denny's they ask for at least something to drink or water early on. Here there is no such thing. I went here 2 times in a month and same experience both the times. I think other Dennys restaurants are lot lot better than this one.

Standard Denny's although I have seen better Denny's Love their grilled Lemon pepper Tilapia and the sides I have mix experiences here -sometimes the service was slow, sometimes it was fast, food served was wrong so it could be a hit or miss I guess here. Now you can have healthier meal options for breakfast, lunch, dinner but who thinks about health in Denny's(lol), value menus from $2 to $8 Have seen Homeless people wandering around the late evenings...this neighborhood is sketchy after dark..usual scene of lineup of cops cars in front of Morada Inn & the chevron Gas station Join the Rewards program by just sign-up with your email in the web, they send some coupons to your emails which you can show your server in your phone and they can scan it to redeem it!

This place is gross & disgusting. First of all.. suuuper sketchy area. We were coming from Laguna Beach into Anaheim and were starving. It was this dirty shopping center with homeless people roaming about. The crowd inside wasn't much better. I was staring at my car the whole time from inside the restaurant, making sure no one was coming near it!! The floor inside this place was so sticky. It made an awful sound when we walked with our shoes! My shoes had Denny's stick on them for hours, and I couldn't get it off! The restrooms smelled really bad and were so dirty! The server was pleasant, but sloooow. No one came to our table for 15 minutes. The food tasted so fake. I got some prime rib sandwich with "swiss" cheese. The cheese tasted and looked like processed white American. The prime rib tasted like something you'd get out of a can.. slimy, fatty, and no flavor. The chiabatta bread was quite good though, as were their french fries. No fault to Denny's, but the crowd inside was really disgusting. The man at the bar next to us had long greasy hair that he was swooshing everywhere. The kid at the table in front of us was getting himself with french fries, then pulling the soggy french fries out of his throat (spit dripping) and eating them. I could hardly eat my meal just watching the people around me. This is not a classy establishment (it's Denny's! Lol)

Service is bad. Came here on a Wednesday around lunch time and service was very slow. The bathroom is terrible! Smelled really bad and was very dirty. Water all over the floor next to the sink, floors were over all gross. Food took a very long time to come out even though there were hardly any people in the restaurant. The table next to us got their food about 15 mins before and were seated well after us. Not heading back there anytime soon.

Overall experience is OK.. Came here when it's empty and when it's packed. Obviously depending on how many customers, the customer service they give will be good or bad. Today, overall service was ok.. Even though it had a couple other people our server was kind and kept our glasses full. Will be visiting again.

Worst service I've had in a while, it was 4 am and hardly anyone was in the restaurant . Despite this, the server rarely came and checked on us to see if we needed anything . Little to no customer service . This Dennys needs work.

Service at Dennys on Beach is atrocious! The staff got the order wrong TWICE and actually tried to "recycle" the patty and mushrooms from the old one!! Not only that, the patty that did end up in the burger was hella dry!! Worst dennys ever get a different girrl to answer the phone and take an order and a chef who can cook and not blame rhe customer for the waitressed mistake

I would give it no stars if I could..service here is horrible..they are often understaffed and the managers do nothing but argue with you and make excuses when you try to discuss the bad service you have experienced. This happened again tonight. I Walked in..Was seated Rather quickly...But That Is About ALL The Service I Received While I Sat There Ignored FOR 15 minutes. There was 3 servers..1 manager..5 tables with customers..all of which who had their food and were already eating... 10 min after I seated..two more parties come...one man had his drink and food order taken ..I waited another 5 minutes before someone finally came over and asked if I had been helped...I told him no. He apologized and asked if he could take my order. I was so pissed at this point I wasn't even going to eat their food. I got up to leave the store..but asked to speak to the manager first...she came out..I asked if she recalled seating me 15 minutes ago. That is when she started to argue and make excuses. She said I hadn't been there 15 minutes..and when I asked why another customer was helped before me when I was here 10 min before him.. she had the nerve to tell me he was seated immediately after me. I told her she was lying... I said. You have 3 servers 5 tables with customers besides me yet no one had the time to take me order let alone acknowledge me. She tells me that my server was working on a to go order....I then tell her that is when another server should have stepped in to help him or hell even better you the mgr should have helped because that is what a GOOD mgr does...a restaurant staff should be a team and help each other if they are slow and see another staff member struggling or over worked. I told her that it wasn't my servers fault because I saw he took a huge to go order that that the other swrvers who were passing their time rolling silverware in napkins could have easily taken my order but a good server would know that...as well as a good mgr would have instructed another server to help me...she said well I can take your order now and put it in right away... I told her "why would I want to eat here after you just stood there an lied to me and made excuses as a bad mgr does. I don't have any confidence in this restaurant because the manager is so poor..poor employees reflect a poor mgr... I turned and walked out. I've been coming here for 25 yrs..and the service has become so poor that I won't return..

Terrible service, waiter comes by 3-4 times because she forgot what we ordered. They get our drinks wrong and my friend had to wait until everyone had already finished eating to receive his pancakes. Food was decent, but that is to be expected. 2 stars is already too generous of a rating for such subpar service.

I'm calling you out for your LIE Tiffany! And that hostess/manager who wears the same shiny, sequined clothing all the time for condoning your staffs' horrible attitude. Tiffany decided to sit another party ahead of us. We knew that we came before that party because they arrived five minutes after we did and didn't sign their name in right away. When confronted, Tiffany snapped back at us saying that that party came in and was on the list first. I call BS! When she left, my friend checked the list and sure enough, they weren't ahead of us. LiAR! At this point, we probably should have left. What aggrevated me even more was how the manager just stood there and didn't even apologize. She just told us that "it's okay because there are many seats open." Well, if there were many seats open, why are you making us wait?! And sure enough, there were several empty tables! Our server did not come right away. She got our drink orders and came back right away. Downhill from that. We waited and waited for her to come back for our food order but she was no where to be seen. Should've just left right? So she finally takes our order and our wait for her to take our order was actually longer than the actual wait for the food to come out. Who actually times these kind of things? I do! I was ready to get on the phone with their customer service at this point! The food was the only saving grace. I actually liked my skillet so there, you've earned your one star Denny's! I wiill not hesitate to drive far when my friend gets his next Denny's craving. It takes much to piss off my hubby but I didn't even have to tell him not to tip, he just did it by himself.

Standard Denny's. Never expect much. But I'm writing this just to ask the management to please curtail the use if calling me "boss". At the table. First off, it's inappropriate. The ONLy thing you ever call a male guest beside his actual name is SIR, even at a Denny's. This is true Universally. One kid calls me that and I'm ready to punch him in the face for equating me to a Denny's manager. Now a second guy is doing it. Stop it. Seriously. I will never work for Denny's under any circumstances, and I will never hire you because you worked at one, so you can stop calling me boss now since it is impossible.

Probably my favorite Denny's cause I literally live next door. The customer service here always seems to be superb. The servers are friendly and attentive. Always checking up on us and just making sure we're enjoying our food. Overall, Denny's is just like any other Denny's, foodwise, I mean. I always go for their pancake puppies for dessert and cheese quesadillas because they're cheap and tasty. On busy days, the service is a bit lacking, but the servers are still polite and attentive. I guess I'm just a huge fan of customer service, so I love this location!

Meh, it's Denny's...you usually know not to expect much from this place but usually you don't care because it's a good place to go after a night out. One thing about this particular location is consistent though, they cannot cook a good breakfast; I could almost get better eggs at McDonald's which isn't saying much. Burgers and sandwiches are alright, but otherwise, there's nothing special about this place

The only reason why I am giving this place one star is because we were seated right away. Food came out fast but it wasn't hot. Service was terrible. Waitress didn't let us finish ordering and kept in interrupting us while we ordered. She brought out the check as soon as we received our food. What if we wanted to order more? The waitress sounded like she's really hated her job and was just rude and we were extremely nice to her the whole time. Never coming back to this Denny's.

Everything was great, service, food everything.. Until I found a hair in my mom's fruit bowl. I informed the manager and asked for a new one. They didn't really seem to care to much that there was hairy food leaving their kitchen. Grossed out...

I give it no stars ... Service was horrible, dishes were dirty the water cups looked nasty the silver wear had food stains on it and their water tasted like hose water and the employees were eating in front of customers ... I would not come back ever !! Don't come you will regret it

Bad service at night! Manager itself has an attitute problem on the phone! If I wasn't that hungry last night, I would cancel my order. Her name was Clarisse or something. Even the guy at the cashier apologized when we picked up our order & said their manager is new but still not enough reason to yell at a hungry customer on the phone asking what choices we have for the sides. Just because youre the manager doesnt mean you can treat customers like that. Poor customer service & very disappointing.

They have build your own burger right now which includes, beef or turkey, or chicken or veggie. Pretty great variety of toppings. And very affordable p.s. our server Paco was amazing after 1am and he was the only server- very fast and friendly.

Just terrible. Came in to order food with some friends, waiter comes out and I order the ultimate skillet, I notice that he's not writing a single thing down but hey there are some really great waiters that remember from the top of their dome. Wrong, everything came out wrong everything that I asked to be off the plate was on it and stuff I wanted were kept off. I tell another waiter and I complain (because someone should say it) that the other waiter should be writing stuff down if he doesn't remember the orders in his head, he rudely tells me that I shouldn't talk to him like that and tells me that I'm welcome to leave? And hey, an invitation to leave a restaurant with horrible service? Yessir, and he stares at me the whole time I'm leaving, not a polite friendly stare I might add. I forgot the waiters name, but definitely going to swing by in the future to get his name.

I feel like when in doubt.. I end up at this place. To me, it's a lot better than Norm's but I mean it's nothing special! Not like waffle house.. MMMM! Anyways I go here probably once a week with my cousin when we're feeling lazy. I like that they have breakfast, lunch, and dinner food 24/7. cause I'm weird and I like breakfast at night and dinner in the morning.. haha. Their customer service is so lame. As in they're slow and don't give a crap! Oh well. the food is decent enough for me to keep returning!

I 'm surprised at all the bad reviews of this place! I'm a longtime customer of this location and the service has always been consistently A- OK for me and my family. We occasionally come to this Denny's for Saturday breakfasts and very rarely for dinner. Last night was a Denny's dinner experience for the first time in years. Breakfast fooods: pretty good, and a great value with the popular Grand Slam. Kids of course dig the pancakes and waffles, I usually get scrambles or an omelette. As a waffle connoisseur, my sweetie claims they're pretty decent much to my surprise. 4 stars for the breakfast menu. Dinner items: HUGE portion on the fish n chips, haddock worked well for this plate. On the other hand, the Chipotle chicken plate just OK, chicken portion kinda small. The rest of the items we've tried over the years are just OK by me, nothing really stands out one way or the other flavor wise. Desserts: standard 3 star stuff with apple pie, miikshakes, cheesecake, etc. Eh, it's alright. Parking is easy at this location. At the time of day we're usually there it's not very busy and we've never had to wait long, but then again, we're not late night kinda people. One complaint: the annoying TVs they've installed recently. IT's not so bad if they kept the sound off, but the one at the front is on constantly and it's LOUD. Do we really need to hear Denny's infomercial chatter while we're eating? Whatever happened to music? I may not be back anytime soon for that reason alone.

Do not go here. It took forever to get seated, forever to order, and even longer to get our food (around 30 minutes). We watched as the employees ignored the ringing telephones that we had to listen to over and over again. We also saw one of the employees that had been cleaning the restrooms, exit the restroom, clean some more around the restaurant, and then hand new customers menus wearing the same gloves the whole time. Talk about contamination! That's how people get e coli. We complained about everything but didn't get any sort of apology. It's not like Denny's is a fancy restaurant, but you have to have some standards in a restaurant.

My friend and I frequently visit this Dennys at all sorts of times! We often times order their value menu stuff or their grand slam meals. or their salads or just any entrees/soups! Prices are average...kind of like an IHOP/Norms. Food's not too bad either. My friend LOVES the shakes here, but there was a time when we ordered an oreo milkshake and they gave us a vanilla milk shake instead. They took it back and made an oreo milkshake, but we think they simply added oreos in it and mixed it b/c the milk shake came out remarkably watery--more than we've ever had before. Generally milkshakes at dennys are really thick and creamy...but this was just like drink--it got gross fast! I actually went to Dennys today and ordered their pecan chicken salad--it came with balsamic vinegarette and ranch--our server Elita(?) recommended that I mix the two together with a bit more ranch than bv...and it tasted GREAT! Great recommendation! Food at Dennys tend to taste really fatty...especially their zesty nachos drenched in oil! Their slamwich are also drenched in fat with a whopping 1300+ calorie count (not counting hashbrowns). +1 Star: Nice 24 hour American place +1 Star: Good food +1 Star: Decent prices -1 Star: Food quality changes at different times -1 Star: Occasionally grumpy workers

This Dennys is frequented by dirty, filthy hobos on a regular basis. Some of these homeless bags of bacteria are extremely nasty and probably full of staph and other diseases. These drug infested tweakers will stand just outside the building and " harass for cash ". Once they have got your money, they will sit at the bar area buying a cup of coffee and squat in the Dennys for hours. They also use the restroom as a shower and hide in there for hours also. My advise is if you eat here, wash youself well afterwards.

On the way home, stopped here for dinner. It had been years since I last stepped into a Denny's I wasn't too impressed with the place. The service was very horrible. The place wasn't busy, but it took forever for us to place our order, get our drinks, and finally our meal. Once the food came, it was what we had ordered, but not how we ordered it. Without wasting more time, we decided to make due. For the price, the food portions were very small. And it was greasy that I couldn't finish all of mine. Midway through eating, I just wanted to leave.

I love Denny's but this Denny's in particular is horrible. They found us a table quick but the table was missing place mats and utensils. The waitress asked us about what we wanted to drink and left. Our waitress seemed like she barely new English, she took our order from memory which we were un-sure about because we had 4 orders with special requests. 10 minutes after we order our food, we finally received our 4 cups of water. We came hungry and they kept us hungry for too long in my opinion. I've experienced long waits for fresh hot food but the food came out around room temperature. Soup was hot though, but it was only hot because they keep it in a hot pot. Food tasted like normal mostly, nacho chips seemed a little old. It wasn't as crunchy as a normal chip, there was some chewy-ness to it. We wanted extra nacho cheese and sour cream, it looked as if they just gave us 3x sour cream and less nacho cheese. Our waitress only gave us our food and drinks and never came back again, no water refills or check ups. I will never come to this location again.

Been here twice and that's one too many times. My friends and I are normally seated fairly quickly, however the servers would take forever to come back to the table for our order, even if the place isn't packed. Other dennys are kind enough to allow me to switch out unwanted items in my meal but this place was firm about making me eat the horrible... mushy... hashbrowns in their slams. The food takes so long to come out that my friends and I almost left before the plate hit the table. It makes me feel like I'm at a turtle bar whenever I'm here. I would definitely take the time and effort to move to another Dennys anywhere else as the service here is very much below average.

This is, by far THE WORST Dennys location me and my friends have ever been to! First of all, there were probably 4 people working; the "manager" (some romanian or russian tranny-looking woman), a creepy hispanic waiter dude, someone at the register, and someone in the back "cooking". Did you know they can screw up TOAST?! Yup. My friend ordered toast, only to see it hardly toasted at all. He at some of it reluctantly anyway. Another friend got a quesadilla. What do you know? They messed that up, too! I don't remember what they did wrong to it, but she said is was disgusting and she couldn't eat more than a few bites. My sister got an omelet, which was mediocre, and I got the ultimate skillet with no sausage, and the egg over medium. The other two in our group got burgers and didn't complain. My skillet wasn't sizzling. It wasn't even really hot at all. Here's the fun part; when we first arrived, we were asking the waiter guy about appetizers, and he said he suggests not ordering the queso dip with chips, because the way the chef prepares it is "not good". He laughed as though trying to relate to us. We were kinda disgusted, so we just got chips and salsa, chicken strips, and mozzerella cheese sticks. These were all just "ok". When my sister later asked the romanian lady if she can get some avocado for her omelet, the lady replied with "oh, our avocados are not fresh". wtf?! ew. The service was terrible. The man made off color remarks (I can't remember specifics, but he was being rude) and when my friend who ordered toast asked for more strawberry jelly, he didn't get any until after he decided he didn't want to eat anymore of their crappy food. We left a 26 cent tip on the table (leaving a small tip shows they did something wrong; if you don't leave a tip, they might think you just forgot). As we were walking up to pay at the register, we noticed a few coins sitting on a table where a man had been drinking coffee alone. I'm glad we weren't the only ones who hated the service. When we were paying, the cashier asked if everything was ok. My sister said "no, actually, not at all." the cashier asked if we wanted to talk to the manager (the romanian woman). lol no. This was like something out of a bad movie. Atleast I was in good company, which made the experience just that much more bearable...but the restaurant, staff, and food were awful. While everyone was paying their own way, I went to the restroom....it STUNK, was covered in toilet paper and seat covers, and was filthy. I'm glad they had a no-touch hand sanitizer thing on the way out the door! It was very much needed. Now can we get the health department out here to check on the kitchen? Yikes! That night, everyone ended up with a stomachache. It's a miracle I didn't throw up, but my sister did. If you want Denny's food ever, or for a late night meal with friends, I suggest finding a different location because this one is beyond horrendous! They shouldn't even still be around! Needless to say, we will NOT be back. Ever. The best Denny's I've been to is at State College and Katella in anaheim. Go there instead!

Hell Hath frozen over. FIRST of all the "husband" knows that second to IHOp, I abhor and will not step foot in a Denny's. But he also knows that when he takes me for a night on the town to Stanton , Ca--wherever the bleepin bleep that is, he's gonna get himself somethin over my hammy. He knew. He KNEW. That I was gonna be hungry after the elite event at Park Ave. That the choice was gonna be Denny's or Taco Bell. That I don't like parking next to seedy motels and that eventually that was going to get me to move it quicker into Denny's. And that all 35 other yelpers were gonna go the The -aforementioned -Bell. Enter the Rockstar Menu. The extremely nice waitress brought out some new menu donning Katy Perry, Hoobastank and the Plain White Tee's. What the hell was this? H: ooo get the "Hot and Cold"! Me: an a-what-uh? Turns out the Katy Perry "Hot and Cold" is a drink with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, hot cherries and cappuccino. I could've kissed a girl. Also got the Hooburrito. A wrap with chicken strips, fried onion crisps, BBQ sauce, and pepper jack. So what I lost a bet and reviewed a Denny's. Things could be worse. I could be staying at that Sahara Inn next door.

Horrible! The last time we were at this location was 4 years ago. And we actually left because we weren't seated. We arrived at about 9:30 pm. It was pretty full and NO ONE was at the counter. So we sat at the waiting booth for about 15 minutes. A couple also arrived at that time and we exchange a few words. Don't remember what but they were Hispanic and kinda friendly. By that time, a Denny's employee showed up and guess what happened. The two couple that just arrived were seated before we were. And we've been waiting for about 15 minutes. And those Nice Mexican Couple didn't say a word. Instead, they went ahead to be seated. We of course complained. We would have understood if all the 4+ seated tables were taken. But this wasn't the case. But instead of making a big deal out of it, we just took off. And NEVER went back. I've eaten at this particular Denny's about 4 times. Usually late at night with a few friends. The food is OK. It's basically Cafeteria food or Prison food is what one of the guys call it. The Denny's over in Long Beach has better service. Food is the same, but service is much better. How can that be? Long Beach is ghetto right? OC is suppose to be a bit better.

This Denny's has been here forever and, like most Denny's, is never noticed. I have never had an urge to go into this place. However whenever we've traveled Denny's has always been a great place to go in for breakfast. There have been times when Denny's was the stop at the dinner hour - but a good time to eat breakfast fare. Such was the case last night. After a full day of activity with some friends we decided we'd like "breakfast" and came into this Denny's. Our server took our order (without writing it down) and we were promptly served before we knew it. You can't go too far wrong with breakfast food - eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes. Enjoyable. Good service. Good friends. A-OK!

Why can I not give this any stars? First off it took 10 minutes to even order. Once the waitress came over she very rudely asked us if we had our orders taken. We said no so she took our drink order then left and brought our drinks. About 20 minutes later she took our order for the food. I ordered one of their new skillets, a soup and some dessert and my friend got the slow cooked pot roast. I ate the soup and 15 minutes later his pot roast arrived. He finished almost all of it before my skillet came. After I ate which wasn't that good to begin with she came back and said you want any dessert. My friend said no just his dessert which she never brought. We waited 5 minutes for it to show up after she brought the check. After those 5 minutes she hastily came back to our table and rudely asked us if we needed anything else. I said no and told my friend to forget the dessert. Never again will I go to this Denny's again. This used to be my favorite one.

What he said... Dennys is dennys... This location is the closest Denny's to my house... my cousins from Sweden are in town visiting so i took them here to get a taste of "american food" haha... Anyways... i love the hashbrowns here... i like it really really crispy... the buffalo wings aren't that good... the nachos are ok... overall dennys is cheap for the amount of food you get! And NO there aren't any Dennys in Sweden, i asked haha

Denny's has most diner fare that you could want. They'll make you something hearty at any hour, day or night, and it's rarely too busy to get decent service if you're nice to the server. It's a reliable choice so I can't complain about that. The food itself is usually edging on average - nothing amazing but nothing too suspicious either. It usually works if there isn't much else around.

I usually only come here on sunday mornings because i happen to be around this location.I usually order frenchtoast for breakfast which is really good. The service here is good everybody is friendly. Denny's is Denny's is Denny's, and it feels really weird to even review a chain restaurant that is so consistent and dependable. Location to location, there's little variation to Denny's, but I find it much more edible than any fast-food restaurant or fake-food chain. My son and I ate breakfast here because he wanted pancakes. We were headed to an IHOP but came across this Denny's on the way -- and they have pancakes, too, so why not? He got the kid's plate that features scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, and sausage. He tried the sausage and didn't like it. He tried the bacon, didn't like it, spit it out into his hand, and put it on my plate. Thanks! I got the Denver scramble, which I recommend. There aren't a lot of eggs, but they're great. And they come with pancakes, hashbrowns, bacon, and sausage -- almost too much food, but I ate most of everything. Can't really go wrong with Denny's if you go for this kind of food. In a pinch -- and with kids -- it's a godsend.

this location SUCKS at service. the only reason why i keep coming back is that they have healthier options than norms/maes and is open late night. i came here on 2 occasions first time: i came with two friends and i was the only one that ordered so it shouldn't be too complicated when you're putting in my order. i ordered off the 2 4 6 8 menu and got the bacon chicken with two sides and a drink. i didn't see the server come out for a while and when my food came, my drink was missing . isn't it usually drink first then food? especially since you just push a button for it. i had to remind her that i had a lemonade and she comes back with a cup that didn't look like lemonade. it looked like water and it was exactly that. i had to ask her for my lemonade once again and she brought out another drink which she got right , after the second time of telling her. for my two sides, i got sauteed spinach and fiesta corn (corn with fresh salsa). i look at my plate and its just plain corn. i had to ask a different server for the salsa which he did bring . BTW , the manager was working there that night and a few servers. NOT ONCE did a server or the manager come up to me to check up. but it was okay cause i left without giving tip second occasion: i had a female server and my friends informed me that the server was an okay server. she took our order and memorized every single thing we ordered which really impressed me. after that , it just went downhill. there was some kind of balloon animal making table there which kept us entertained and pre-occupied. our food came out and we didn't see her again , i had to yell across the restaurant to get her attention when we finally needed something. when we finished, we met this super chill male worker and he was very apologetic for the service that we recieved. he said for us to ask for him next time and he'll take care of us. but that probably won't be for a while
