Just came in here had a great experience first off at the end of the night they had a lot of extra pizza and they said they just throw it out at the end of the night so they really hooked us up and told us we can have as much pizza as we want! Amazing customer service to, staff is young but very helpful

We hosted my son's 12th birthday party here yesterday. We purchased a party package which included 7 Ultimate and 10 Incredible cards. It was a bit pricey, but it was totally worth it. The party hosts were great and very personable. The selection of food was great and the taste was pretty good for a pizza buffet. They have a wide selection of games and rides. I really enjoyed playing Wheel of Fortune and Deal or No Deal, although these were very popular and I always had to wait. Overall, the kids had a great time and the experience was worth the few hundred dollar price tag. I only give 4 stars however because the check in process took a little longer than expected and the girl working at the prize counter wasn't very friendly. She also stopped during our transaction to chat with a co-worker. I would definitely recommend this place though and we will be returning in the near future.

Took my son there on a Tuesday night for his birthday. Not very crowded, which we liked. The first few rides and games we attempted to play was broken. However, when you scanned your card, it took credit out. Not seeing any attendants around, my husband had to run all the way to the front desk only to be told there are attendants on the floor that he will notify to meet us back in games. I can't even count how many times we had to hunt down an attendant for a refund of credits or get them to fix the rides. And you had to wait your turn because they were giving other customers their refunds and fixing other rides first. It was an annoying waiting game and put everyone in a bad mood. I can't even imagine how it must be on a weekend night. The only positive thing about that night was that the attendants were helpful and courteous once it was your turn. However, they did look frustrated and overworked with all the running around they had to do. If they games and rides aren't functioning properly, there's no point in going to this place. Never again.

If you're looking for a more affordable, CLEANER, well maintained with employees that actually enjoy their job, and less ghetto Chuck E Cheese then this place is for you and your kids. I LOVE that food is included with your admission! Kid friendly options like pizza and pasta too! The different rooms for dining are so cool too! We stayed in the room where they show Disney Jr. Definitely kept my toddler occupied while eating. They also have a toddler friendly area in the game section where your little one can run around and play on some dinosaurs and a slide. Perfect for toddlers who can't quite grasp the aspect of video games yet lol I wish they had a Johns Incredible Pizza a little closer to the Bay Area but this location has definitely won for us. We will def be back!!

Great place for all kids birthday parties. Separate bars for all you can eat bars for pizza, salad, desserts or pasta. Lots of drinks & games & rides for the kids. Good safe fun!!!! We got packages for all the kids & they had a blast with food, games, rides, arcade... It's clean & staff are friendly.

I really like the concept of this place. It's a buffet with pizza, salad, pastas, and dessert, and with admission for that you get access to their arcade and little ride area. Great for parties for kids. You can either reserve an area for a party, or if you're just casually going, there's a few different themed rooms to choose from where you can eat. The food is either a hit or a miss cause sometimes the pizza comes right out the oven, or they let it sit till it's cold. The games are fun but from my experience, sometimes a lot of them aren't working. This place has potential but I'm giving it three stars only because they can improve on their food, cleanliness overall, and customer service.

I came here for a Birthday Party for my Nephew. We were in one of the Private Rooms towards the back where the games were. It is a pretty good size room which fit almost about 20-25 people. It is pretty fun spending time with family here especially with kids involved. We came here on a Sunday and it was not very busy which is great! No lines to games and rides. It seems like all the kids really enjoyed their day at John's Incredible Pizza. I would say the only complaint I have is that they need to really lower their ticket pricing for their Prizes. Even with a total of 1000 tickets, that may seem like a lot but really that 1000 tickets probably can only get you like a notebook or some pencils. On another note, Unlimited Pizza, Salad and Dessert is always a really good reason for me to return again and again.

Way better then Chuck e Cheese. I love the many different theme rooms. But wish. It had the same kind of door security as chuck e cheese. Food was good but thought there would be a better section of food.... I mean whats a pizza place with out hot wings....lol over all good 2st experience.

Visited and had a birthday party here yesterday! So much fun! Kids had a blast, and I think the adults had just as much fun. The party host did an amazing job and was very accommodating to our needs. My only complaint was that the buffet was so-so, but there was barely any food out. I wanna say 50% of the buffet was absolutely empty. They were also SUPER understaffed which was very apparent. Other than those things, we had a BLAST!

This place is called John's Incredible Pizza because how incredibly horrible their food is. This is a place meant for kids but unfortunately parents must bring their kids and endure the terrible food. They don't do anything well, their pizza is awful, so is their pasta, and even their salad sucks. I've never seen salad dressing that was so watery in my entire life. When I was there their Icee machine wasn't even working. I've read some reviews that claim this place has great pizza. These people are crazy or have never had pizza from any other place. Trust me, if you're looking for good pizza or food in general, don't come here. You never see the manager walking around checking up on service because he's afraid of getting jumped. This place is all about the games, even then the games suck. These games are not like the old days, they're ticket driven, not fun driven. Oh well, you've been warned.

This place is like Chuck E Cheeze on Meth. John's Incredible Pizza Disaster! Some of the patrons looked like they were just released from Folsom State prison and on parole. The buffet was horrible! All I wanted was just a few slices of pepperoni pizza, but the only selection available were "Spicy Peanut-Butter Pizza" and Vegetarian. Every other pizza was completely gone. Overall, this place is dirty and I couldn't even find one clean table to sit with my wife and child. As far as the games go, every other game was broken and out of service. No signs would be posted to warn us, so the games just took away my credits. Also, I had a feeling that the AC was turned off? I swear I was sweating like a sweat shop worker from Bangladesh.

Keep in mind this is after our first and only visit so far. What's incredible about this place? They have Redd's on tap, that's what!! OK, not just that. But, I was sold when I heard that, so off we went with our 20mo' old. It was super packed, but the eating rooms weren't too bad (I guess everyone was off playing in the arcade - something I'm not about to attempt with a baby in tow). Despite the chaotic unorganized mess that was the buffet, we had an awesome, quiet dinner as our small little family. My boyfriend would probably have me dock a star for the young busser kid who showed up right after we served ourselves, introduced himself to us as our 'server,' and proceeded to tell us that if it got too busy, then he would have to ask us to move to another table, or leave. Not sure why, but I'm assuming the poor min-wage earning kid was trained to say that to everyone Buuut.... You can imagine how that set with the BF, having just paid $40 to feed his family lol, that the second we sat down we were forewarned we might be told to leave. Anyway, after that we had a fabulous time, we brought a tablet for our son to watch something more age-appropriate while we ate and drank our drinks. Definitely worth the experience ... if you can avoid the staff! Lol, just (mostly) kidding!

I'm extremely disappointed with today's experience. We enjoy spoiling the kids every blue moon with junk food, games, and sugar highs and we choose to go to establishments like this one because they have foods other than pizza. I give this place one star because not only was the pizza incredibly horrible, the salad bar was disgusting. Wilted lettuce and sad looking excuses for vegetables. I know for a fact we didn't meet or exceed 35 dollars in food. To top it off, I felt like we were in a sauna, ALL OF THE AIR CONDITIONERS WERE BROKEN. FML, it's August, and there's kids running around. Come on management, pull it together. This place used to be so much fun. This may have been our last time coming here.

I've read mixed reviews on this place and honestly it's all down to your experience here. For parents thinking about bringing kids here--I'd say go for it. I brought my 25 year old Navy boyfriend here because we both share a common amusement of arcade games and what not. It's fun to be a child sometimes. And guess what? We both enjoyed it. I think you just have to plan accordingly. Weekends are going to be busier than week days obviously and holiday season/ school breaks mean more people are going to be thinking of coming here. Come in before 3 and it's cheaper. Yes food can run short, but we didn't really have an issue with that and it's all you can eat. Let the kids run around and then bring them back for food. You have time! The food will regenerate and then the kids can eat again! You're not paying anymore than what you paid at the register so don't get too worried, just wait it out, let the kids burn out or eat dessert first. I definitely did notice parents waiting around for specific pizzas. We went on a week day on a Tuesday early afternoon, maybe like noon? And we actually still stood in line surprisingly. But we had a lot of fun. We like claw machines and just the competition of trying to win. The place was definitely not at max capacity and the bus boys were definitely going around because we got up to get a second plate of food--only gone maybe a minute and our table had already been cleaned. I know different people have different experiences and depending on how many kids you're with or the group you're with it may be a different situation, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves--and we walked out with a prize from the claw machine. Give it a chance. Guaranteed most kids will enjoy the whole experience. Plus you're also very close to Roseville Galleria if you need to do some shopping!

I have been here on several occasions for my friend's and family's kid's birthday parties. It was buffet style and included various pizzas, salad bar, pastas, soup, and dessert. I thought the food was pretty bland but I didn't expect too much. There was also a wine and beer bar where you can purchase separately from the buffet. There were many different rides and games which were great for kids of all ages. I took my niece and nephew around and they had a great time.

  • Anna J.

food: food was ok, no one was rude, the staff was nice, inexpensive. arcade: arcade games were the best, there was hardly any broken machines, some of the games took a long time but no mistakes rides: the rides were da BOMB, the staff took a long time, but it's ok.the rides were open but the tornado ride was closed, still ok, the roller coaster was fun, "the mini drop zone" my son calls it, was fun too. service: the service was also Da BOMB, cheaper than we expected to be, guy was nice. however those who complains... go to chuck e cheese cause this place knows it's service.

I went here a few weeks ago with my family. I will never go back, over priced subpar buffet. A large portion of their games were broken. Had a terrible time. Save your money and headache, and go to chuckee cheese, or Dave and busters. This place sucks.

We came for our daughters birthday today on a Monday. Although school is out, it was busier than expected. Having said that, the staff should be more prepared. In which they were definitely understaffed. The buffet was half empty. Food was tasty and good though. When it came time to eat dessert, there was nothing but mini donuts and one ice cream machine open. Everything else was totally wiped out, and not a staff person stationed there to continually replenish it. We come across a nice staffer, who looked totally overspent, but was nice enough to do his best to restock with a good attitude. Game time!!!! Fun as always! Although we were bummed that a lot of the big ticket winner games were out of order. Overall, we always have a good time here though. As long as the kids have a good time, that's all that matters in the end.

Hi-ya! This place is a mad house. Since the last time I was here...they introduced some actual protein--chicken! But getting this legendary chicken is a serious task of fighting hungry mobs of kids and parents in a completely unorganized buffet style environment. Anyway it's still an expensive place to eat; considering what you get and the amount of work/waiting you have to deal with to get it, BUT if you have kids then they will say it's worth it. The employees look fatigued and probably don't eat the food they serve, BUT I am not trying to bash the place. They make a great environment available for kids and they have different themed rooms that are pretty cool. If the place had better food I might have given it 4 stars.

  • Rob M.

Took my son there this morning. The first thing I notice was you have to buy your drink separate from the buffet. Ok, that makes no sense. Second thing I noticed was nobody ever checked my tag to prove I paid for the buffet. I probably could have joined all the others who just walked in and ate for free. The food was decent for what it was and once all the Buffalo got their plates full there was still plenty of pizza and desserts to go around. Seriously people, it is all you can eat not all you can pile on your plate. Surprisingly the salad bar was deserted. Haha. The staff was cool and constantly cleaning machines and such which pleased me. The bathrooms were clean. My main gripe and the reason for 3 stars was a lot of the games weren't working and not one of them had a sign or power turned off. Sure, you hunt down an employee and get a refund on credits but the way they have it set up sucks. They have to take your card to the machine that jipped you and run their refund card through it. All in all it was a good experience. I'll return there again but please, if management is reading this.....either put an "out of order" sign on broken games or turn them off.

For what this is, this is as good as it gets. Let's get the definition of what John's Incredible is, then, out of the way, shall we? John's Incredible is a pizza buffet, with an expensive arcade, where you can win tickets, with which you can buy anything a kid may want at a 500% mark-up, more or less, depending on how much you, the adult, would like to interfere in the gaming process. Are you willing to push the mole down with your hands? Are you willing to "accidentally" run into the elvis machine and dislodge some of the coins? Are you willing to pay a ten-year-old to do any of the above and split the difference with him? Of course you aren't. That's because you have a lot of class. Class is expensive, thus the 500% mark-up. Now for the finer points. 1. The dinosaur machine. I freaking love the dinosaur machine. LOVE IT. I could do this for 5 consecutive hours. Ask any of my family members. My daughter is very proud of my dinosaur-grabbing ability. In fact, I am so good at this now that I just give the babies the dinosaurs as they walk up to the machine, and I have even once been banned from the machine by the management. I did not take offense or get hurt feelings. I am really good at cleaning this place out of dinosaurs. Wish they'd put some twenty dollar bills up in there. I've developed such a level of sophistication with this machine that I scored 9 dinosaurs once with three tries. See pictures. Time to update my resume, y'all. 2. Ice cream cone on the way out. 3. Zoey has the unique ability to score multiple jackpots in a row. The management has noticed this also. They have got nothing. I don't know how she does it, no matter how many times anyone asks. Really, I have no idea. See pictures. 4. Getting Sunny on any ride. That is just plain silly fun. 5. Nice employees. There are a couple bad apples but everyone is usually kind to me. Mediocre points: 1. The food. I have had better frozen pizza. They charge a dollar extra for gluten-free pizza. I have tried both. Not impressed. 2. The crowd. Go in the early afternoon. This is much more fun without 12 brats screaming behind you to hurry up. Once again, this is a great situation to have Sunny in, she doesn't care if you are 8 or 80. You are going to wait until she is done. At some distance. For some reason she is able to nonverbally keep the kids at least three yards away. 3. Broke kids. Broke kids ask you for tokens. I just give them the tokens. Jesus. I am Mother Theresa. I hope God is watching me at John's Incredible. I think. Not-so-fine points: 1. Parking. The parking and parking lot are dumb. People, do not leave soiled diapers in the parking lot. 2. Flu. You will get the flu here if you don't get a flu shot. 3. Ticket inflation. But honestly, this is way better than the midway at Circus Circus or Chuck E. Cheese. Much cleaner and they always give the benefit of the doubt when the machine malfunctions. They are much more generous here, but you're going to pay for that. I hope you feel more confident now knowing what to expect from John's Incredible. My review did not intend to replicate Sunny's, LOLLL. We are sisters, I guess that happens.

Great food. Too many kids not being watched by their lazy parents who can't seem to pull there heads out of their...phones and pay attention to what really mattetsrs. Rides are fun. Staff tries. New chicken is pretty good but Noth worth the wait. Rather have a potato and a salad. Kids enjoy it and love that they can make rootbeer floats lol

Alright... here we go. I arrived tonight with my family just before a huge crowd, awesome! My husband and daughter had one of those coupons where you pay for an adult and a child's entry was free. Awesome again! We also got the!$19.99 deal which is 100 credits plus a ride. I decided to pay separately and use my Groupon. That deal gave me a $5 play card loaded with 2 rides. We decided we wanted to eat first. There was a salad bar, pasta, soup, pizza choices galore, desserts, and more than I could list. They've got unique flavored pizza's like pizza with peanut butter (actually pretty good), nacho, Alfredo... their pizza has a good flavor for being buffet pizza. The only issue I had was with the salad bar. The lettuce was wet. I think that's so gross. After we ate, we headed to the games. There are so many! Perfect for kids spending lots of ca$h! As we are gathering tickets galore, I noticed a handful of games not working. That was a little disappointing for my daughter. So how about the worst part? I started to realized I was getting RIPPED OFF. I was at the wheel of fortune game and it costs 5 credits. (Each credit will run you $.25 each unless you get a one of their deals.) After I left the wheel of fortune game, the next game showed me how many credits I had left. That damn wheel of fortune game took double the credits! 10 CREDITS!?!? That's technically $2.50 I spent playing that game! From one game that was only supposed to take 5 credits. I quickly found a game attendant and she refunded me 5 credits and explained that maybe I didn't realize I swiped it again (ha, ok), but just to be more careful. She also said she would check out the game. She was very pleasant, by the way. As time went on, I started wondering, how many kids aren't paying attention? Such a rip off if that happened all the time. We went around playing other games that weren't out of order, my daughter did pretty good in racking up those tickets. Just as my husband played game that put us over 1,600 tickets (we cheered), I played a game where you spin the wheel... AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW... THE GAME WAS GIVING ME 20 TICKETS HITTING 1,600 AGAIN. SO NOW WE ARE BEING RIPPED OFF WITH TICKETS? HOW LONG HAS THAT BEEN GOING ON? I decided not to male a big deal over 20 tickets, but would mention it to the prize counter or whoever. Definitely stay paying attention to both my tickets and credits. The 2 rides we rode; bumper cars and another one that spins around, was fun. After hitting our goal for tickets, we decided to go back to the wheel of fortune game, almost an hour later, because it is fun, and taking an extra 5 credits could have some how been my fault. Nope. This machine was never checked. It was STILL TAKING 10 CREDITS PER PLAY! EVERYONE PLAYING THAT GAME WAS GETTING RIPPED OFF! HOW DOES IT MAKE YOU FEEL, KNOWING WE ARE BEING DOOPED? I work hard for my money and being double charged pisses me off for not just me, but anyone else there playing that game was getting ripped off. My mistake is that I only talked to kids working there. They just kept saying ok, they'll get it checked... I was told an hour before it would be checked! How many other games are stealing or credits? How many games are stealing our tickets? Start paying attention, guys. THIS PLACE IS RIPPING YOU OFF! WATCH YOUR CREDIT SPENDING AND WATCH YOUR TICKETS!

John's is slipping. To their credit, they are trying very hard to maintain, but slipping. Ok let's get the 'take-away' over with first. The beers are the same price in smaller mugs. Big fat boo. I wonder what loser ruined that for the rest of us responsible imbibers. The buffet was skimpy. They are not overly fast about getting those vats of delicious hot food going out either. I was asked on several occasions if they could bring more out for me. So they are attentive. The front desk staff didn't explain the packages very well. I had to pry a little. And we used to be regulars so we knew what to expect. I feel sorry for someone who doesn't really know what's up. The check in machines were broken. The place a little messier, a little dirtier. The buffet a little skimpier. Many machines were broken or out of order. It's sad to see what I figure is the double dip recession in our rear-view mirror taking it's chunk out of the place. But managing a zoo this large cannot be easy. The shine is just not there. The food still decent. The games still fun, the staff very nice. But for the prices the glow is off this rose. Sorry John's. We'll try again next year.

Take a look at the pic and tell me if I'm wrong or not... After my kids finally decided on a prize I was told the slinky was not 1,175 it was 1,400... The very rude worker didn't understand that it definitely looks like the slinky is 1,175 and did NOTHING about it or act sorry. I was very upset about this and will think again before bringing my kids back or recommending this place. (There were several other things that happened that I was not ok with but this was just the icing on the cake!

First time, only time. Disappointments: Not one employee smiled. Games were broken and took your $. Food is bad, not stocked. Ice cream machine broken, meant long line in a small corner for the 1 machine. Waited in line for an hour for prizes, 1 employee working. My children said "thank you" after the rides, zero acknowledgment. All in all, Chuck E Cheese is better and stamps your kids hands with a number. Johns Not-So-Incredibles is a ClusterF.

All you can eat buffet! What can you not love about this place? All kinds of different types of pizza and bunch of rides and games to play after. This place is in between Chuck n Cheese and Dave & Buster! They also have different seating sections. Example; the looney tunes for the kids, the sport bar for the adults, the cabin fever, etc. To top it off they also sell beers! Lol We had my daughter's 3rd bday here! It's been almost 3 yrs. They do have a great bday deal and for extra you can also add play cards too. I'm not quite sure about how the packages are now. So if you are planning a kid's bday party, come check this place out. Since it's football season, they also have special going on. The prices are a little cheaper. I believe it's only on Monday tho. Lunch is always cheaper then dinner by about $1.50 or $2. Make sure you keep your receipt tho if you are planning to come back and eat. And if you are only drinking water like myself, make sure you let the cashier know or they'll charge you extra for the drink. Come before 4pm because it become quite busy. And be on the look out for their Groupon deal. It comes around every now and then. For $12, you get the all you can eat buffet, drink and a play card.

This place is alright. Games are hella expensive. once you enter you HAVE to pay admission for the buffet; which kinda sucks if your FULL and you just want to play in the arcade. Alot of rides, has a bowling alley, and has a casino-arcade-esque feel to it. Rides and games are overpriced.. I would save money by going to Golfland across the street =X

I tried in earnest to have a bad time here. For starters, I brought a book with me. I wore a maxi dress with well-heeled vegan clogs (both of which I eventually had to change due to a subsequent, unfortunate event later that evening). I complained at length in the line to get in, and accompanied my complaints with some gratuitous eye rolling. But eventually, I did have lots 'o' fun. The worst part of this experience is the line to get in--it is way too long, and when the weather's cold, it's unpleasant. They should install heat lamps outside. They passed out breadsticks while we waited, but I don't see how carbo-loading adequately ameliorates the pain of waiting. Cocktails would work better. It took about 20-30 minutes to get through that line. Not fun. We sat down in a sports themed room (I think--all the dining areas had different themes). I was surprised that football was on because it was a Saturday night--there was a lot of yelling at televisions. Tom Brady. Ho hum. My sister and her daughter took off immediately to play games. I wanted to enjoy a beer first (they have Fat Tire and Blue Moon on tap--not too shabby considering Chuck E. Cheese only has Bud or Bud Light. When in Rome.) After I left for a minute to change into sweats, I had a lot more fun. I won hella dinosaurs from the claw game. I murdered that frog game (see pics), even after they told me they were closed and I would have to stop playing. My sister made me ride a few rides, which I honestly would not do again or recommend. My niece had such a good time, my sister brought her back the next day. I think I'm the only one who had anything to eat. An "all you can eat buffet" is what it is, but I will say that it wasn't the worst. Also, cake. My sister thought it was expensive ($9.99/adults, $4.99/kids), but I didn't think so. I guess my perception of "expensive" is skewed by living in the SF Bay Area-- home of the $11 side salad. Also, I don't think we necessarily had to purchase the buffet--not sure why we did that. Can you just go in and play games? In sum, if you have young kids, this is a pretty good time. No dresses.

The food was not fresh, especially at the salad bar. The green onions looked like they were chopped up over a week ago. A lot of the other items looked old. The noodles at the pasta bar were dry and old looking. I was nervous eating food that looked like this. Also, one of the ice cream machines was not working. The other was coming out really slow for the chocolate. The vanilla didn't work at all. Disappointing. The floor by the broken ice cream machine was all wet with melted ice cream. I almost slipped, and there was no caution sign. To top it off, 3 of the 4 people in our party had diarrhea a couple hours after we left there. I know it was because of the food there. My own fault for eating it when it looked so bad. Food like this should not be served!

Used to come out here with my family every other week for some games and to eat at the buffet. Years have went by and I'm not sure that this place is living up to what it can. We let them know about salad dressing being out and we were told 20 minutes for the new batch, 45 minutes later it still wasn't out. Other food areas were dried up and not stocked up at all, and there isn't a single smile on an employees face. Only reason this has two stars is the respect I still have for this place.

Fun for kids. The buffet is akin to what might come from a jr. high cafeteria, perfectly edible, but gourmet it's not. Don't go in with high expectations and you won't be disappointed. Went soon after opening on a Sunday so it wasn't too busy. I liked that there were different themed seating areas. On our second trip to the buffet after playing games, we found a much quieter room that had music videos playing. The one thing that I disliked is that there were several games that were not working properly. Either they would not start up after swiping your card or they would not spit out the tickets that you won. We managed to find an attendant to refund one of the defective games. The other three times, we weren't able to find one nearby. What I don't like about the whole situation is that it wasn't just one game that did it. At least least four different games basically cheated my friend's niece out of credits or tickets. tsk tsk, think of how many unattended children basically get ripped off because of this.

Went there for my oldest son birthday a f weeks ago and The manger was a big asshole and there was hardly any food at evern though They had a lot of people coming in and also had horrible service and customer care at all and I have taken my kids there in the past and it was never as bad as it was the other day

Read the worst review and multiply it! Went on Saturday night and was a zoo. Not enough food or employees. Place was a mess. Dirty dishes on empty tables. Buffet entries either not filled or dried out. No ice in soda dispensers icee machine and ice cream out of order. Employees walking around and eating Manager walking around and doing nothing about this. Just imagine a sitcoms about a buffet. Place is a joke!! My kids seem to enjoy it though. And I guess that's all that matters

So I've only been to this place twice and one thing that is consistent is that they never have enough food selections ready and the dining hall area could be cleaned a little better. For this 2nd visit, upon walking in, the front counter was very busy with kids and their parents. There were three check in attendants that made the process fast. For four of us (2 kids under the age of 8 and 2 adults), 4 drinks with a $14.99 fun card with 75 tickets it cost us $58. After paying we went to find a table. There was a table that was cleared however it had stains on it and the seats had food. We found an employee who promptly cleaned the table upon our request. When going to get food at the buffet I was disgusted by the food on the floor and how the employees kept walking by as if it wasn't there. I mean I went and sat down twice after taking my kids to get food and came back to the buffet area and saw the same three pieces of squished, stepped on and flattened pizza each time. How they couldn't see it or didn't pick it up is beyond me. Also there were kids who kept going to get food and grabbing with their hands while unattended. Just grabbing food and running around. Probably having an employee man the food area would help resolve this. The pizza selections were few (possibly because of the pizza on the floor?) and the pasta was almost non-existent. I was limited to making the best salad I could at the salad bar as they were stock piled high in salad. After eating, going to the play area was the best part. The rides are all mostly 8-10 tickets apiece so after two rides each I found myself reloading our fun card. The games were pretty low at about 2-5 tickets a game. We won a lot and then cashed out the tickets for some cheap prizes at the prize bar. Overall the experience was ok. Though celebrating my daughters 6th birthday and paying over $70 bucks (after the purchase of the second fun card) I wish it had been a little cleaner and the employees were more attentive with how they run the place.

This place is an incredible disaster. We came in on a Saturday afternoon going to each themed room looking for a place to sit and every open table is dirty with dishes. We bussed our own table to sit down as the bus boy watched us. They couldn't keep up with the demand of food. I went to the pizza counter and not a single pizza was out. They have roughly 15 pizza spots for pizza with out a single pizza. Most of the other food bars were out of food. They ran out of plates. I had to wait for a plate for 10min. The arcade is in dismal shape. Id say about 1/4 of the machines are out of order. Then most of the machines we played on were out of tickets so we didn't get any winnings. This establishment is a disaster. Don't bother with this place.

The worst experience here. Too bad too. My daughter wanted to have a great time. Many games were not working, rides not working, no attendants, food wasn't even warm. Only thing fresh was the mini donuts. The management staff needs to evaluate their store and make some serious changes.

Good for a buffet. I didn't stay to play games but it looked fun in there. We were with a party of 17 and everyone had a good time and ate way too much food.

We came on a very busy Saturday! Friends recommended this place as they said it's a great place to spend a Saturday afternoon with children. Unfortunately, I didn't check yelp reviews and our friends didn't know that you have to pay for buffet in order to get in! We were already full as we had a late lunch and just headed over for our kids to have some fun. That's why I can't say too much about the quality of food but there seemed to be a great selection of appetizer, entree and dessert and I have seen employees cleaning up after the children's and adults (who are too lazy to put things away). When I handed a cup after I was done to one of the poor girl who was cleaning the tables, she was shocked that I actually handed it to her. She smiled and said "Thank You" Tells you a lot about the attitude of ppl. who come here with their children! Anyways, we also got the game card for 24.95$ that included 4 rides. They have a roller coaster, froggie ride (that goes up and down), and a spinning ride. It's fun that they are all indoors and the wait wasn't too bad. They also have a good selection on arcade games but be aware as some children have no manner and will just snap the seat away from you as their parents don't always pay attention to what their kids are up to. They also have a toddler play area but it is also used by older children who will push the little ones to go down the slide! If you live close by and you'd like to spend a day indoor away from the heat than it might be great to come by. But definitely nothing special to come here on a regular basis or if you don't live close!

So we went on a Sunday to celebrate our son's 1 st birthday. There was a lot of people however we found tables fast (there was 14 of us) The pizza was good and well stocked, salad bar was a good size lots of choices, and the desserts were good! The games were fun and we all had a good time!! We are going back for sure! Next time on a week day for lunch!

I came back with my husband to celebrate my nieces birthday and I was braced for the worst. It turns out that they are keeping the place cleaner and some of the games were actually fun for me (the football and basketball one). I'm 27 and didn't expect they would have a fun arcade game for older people. I still wish they had a kid check and it was pretty noisy, but not so bad that I really wanted to to leave. I'll go again in about 5 years.

I have been here a couple of times, today being one of those times. Both times it was for a birthday party. This place gets crazy, way crazier than Chucky Cheese and they have no kid check (major down point). We have never had a problem finding a nice place to eat, but we are always in the 'Toon Room' where they have a constant stream of cartoons playing on a number of TVs across the walls to keep the kids entertained while the adults finish eating the pizza and various other foods that are available. Speaking of food it is better than some pizza buffets that I have been to. They have a nice salad bar and the breadsticks are decent. I wouldn't eat the pasta, from what I tasted it was over cooked but I did like to dip the breadstick in their version of a pesto sauce. The salad bar is nice with a good variety of veggies to chose from. They also had a nice potato bar the potatoes were a little over cooked too. For the pizza they had a ton of different varieties ranging from a Cheese to Peanut Butter Pizza. It wasn't bad but, it also wasn't the best pizza by far. They have a dessert section as well but as we had cake every time I have gone I have never ventured over to that section. They do have beer there as well however it will cost you an arm and a leg for a mug of beer. What I like are the rides. Last year when we came I wasn't able to go on any (pregnant), so I was able to take my daughter on a few this last time. I had fun on the twister ride, she really liked the kiddo roller coaster that they have. The games are pretty much a rip off but they usually are at places like this. My suggestion is that if you are coming here on a weekend, come when they open 10am. Have an early lunch and then hit the games and rides (sometimes they aren't running first thing). That way you can get out of there before it gets insane around 1pm. People are rude here, no one is looking out for anyone other than themselves. I can not tell you how many times people ran right into me (I was slinging a baby too). So get out of there before the place gets insane. I don't think it would be a bad place to go to in the middle of the week, and the cost of the buffet is cheaper then too.

The only time I've been, we ended up spending close to $80 in games for tickets, just for the ticket machine to eat 3/4 of them. When we walked over to get some help with the machine, someone else that was behind us magically cashed out our receipt and took em' all from my kid. With no way to know who it was, and my son crying at the counter, the manager was called over to give us 100 tickets in return. This place is a rip-off in so many ways, I don't even know where to start. They're damned lucky I love my kid like I do, because I may have ended up on the news had they not have finally given in to our complaints and pleas about their faulty machine. The food was okay, but many of the pizzas that they were cooking weren't marked properly (BBQ Chicken pizza under the Macaroni and Cheese pizza's designated area, etc.)... good thing my kid doesn't have any food allergies, right? The 'bar' is a joke. I have no problem being asked for my ID, but when the kid asking me for it is rude and doesn't look a day over 18 himself, it only adds to the overall frustration. John, your Incredible Pizza Company needs some quality control and a few classes on customer service. It really sucked to have to explain to my son that we would probably never return to that place, and even he understood. He couldn't seem to grasp why the manager 'was so mean to him about the tickets'. I couldn't either.

QBQs... Question behind the Questions. Meaning, WTF is going on? Reading here, average review is 4+ meaning many people love industrial pizza, cafeteria starches, salads, deserts and drinks. I should know better but like everyone else here gave into my daughter who has not the experiences to qualify her as knowing right from wrong. Yes, I said it... this place is just wrong. I should have balked when we waited in line to pay $$$ for this experience. Our wait in line approached 15 full minutes while one and half teenagers worked the cash register... Nice to see BTW the manager, and 2 other semi-adults discussing something of virtue 50 ft away oblivious to the fact that by the time I reached the entry point there were 30+ people in 4 rows and lines. You know the saying... "you get what you pay for..." That best describes the food. I believe I paid about $10 for my dinner... Its a gravy boat less then hometown buffet... the only difference is the seniors gorging at 4:30pm at hometown are replaced by two and half kids wigged out on sugar. if you are on any type of responsible eating plan? calories, Atkins, carb, forget it... your only sensible choices are salad and maybe a dairy less baked potato. But in fairness I was not expecting high quality food. I love the yuppies tasting wine at the "bar" hanging onto their pre economy meltdown pride. I wonder if they noticed in their drinking that they are at a glorified chucky cheese??? Then the fun really began. $30 spent on games for the kids. 5 minutes into the fun my youngest daughter was on the frog jumper machine smiling so much that for one brief second I was enjoying myself. Then after the ride, the (less then) attendant lifted the safety bar without effort or notice to the fact that my daughters legs and feet were 10 inches or more off the ground. She fell straight off and landed directly on her knees. Scream, Crying and the attendant went straight to his walkie talkie without any effort to help. My daughter is screaming and I have to open the gate myself to get access... the attendant is in the corner calling for help! 2-3 minutes the manager comes over... "can I get you some ice?" Yes! then he says " Do you need to fill out a report" code for are you going to sue? After checking to see that my daughter could in fact run... and the tears stopped after 5 min we politely said NO... I don't go there... at least not today! The great experience ended 20 min later when my daughters tried to cash in her game "tickets" for the dollar store prizes. We had 265 tickets and my daughters wanted the purple notepads for 150 each or 300 total. The brain on the other side of the counter said NO... Are you kidding me? My kid falls and screams, the manager first words are do you want to sue me and then NO for a little piece of crap toy... Ya... that is what we call a quality business.... NOT.

I don't know how to describe this place other than a big kid's Chuck E. Cheese. One thing I must say is that this is where I tried peanut butter flavored pizza. Yes people. It does exist and it doesn't taste all that bad. The buffet offers salad, pastas, pizza, and a variety of other things. Although the desserts offered here are nothing out of the ordinary, it is still really good. I personally wouldn't come here just to eat, there would have to be an occassion such as a child's birthday party (the reason for this first time visit).

3.5 stars "I want go to John's IncredibPizza" I've been hearing this from my son for a week now. It was his birthday last Wednesday, so after his morning in preschool... we picked him up and took him there for a surprise. It was certainly a hit! He liked Chuck E Cheese, but this place makes Chuck E Cheese look like a rundown shack. Being the first time we'd been there - I'm very glad we went in the middle of the day on a Wednesday. There was NO ONE there. Great for me! Perhaps a little more boring for my son... but he seemed to have a great time anyway. I can only imagine this place on a Saturday... my nerves will be shot. (And I'm sure I won't have to imagine for long....) Bit of warning... you are not going to have an inexpensive outing here. In order to enter, you have to purchase the buffet. There is no going in to play games only. Once you are in you have full access to the buffet, so everyone is charged for it. It's $11.00 for each adult ($9.50 for buffet + they charge you a separate $1.50 for beverages = unlimited soda, coffee, tea) and $6.00 for children b/n 2 - 6 years ($4.50 for buffet + they charge you a separate $1.50 for beverages = unlimited soda, coffee, tea). But wait! You're not done there. Do you want to play games? OK. So, you can purchase our fun cards. The best deal is the 115 credits + 2 rides for $24.99. Most games require 2-4 credits, and most rides are 8 credits. The food was decent. Salad bar, several types of pasta (fair), baked potato bar, soup, dessert bar, and of course... the pizza. Several types of pizza - plus you can request they make one to order. OK - so if you're keeping track... For our small family of two adults and one four year old - we are up to $53.00. That is a pretty penny paid for a toy football that I saw at the dollar store!! But you go in knowing that you aren't there to get prizes for cheap... you are there for FUN! We had a great time. My son had a ton of fun! I KNOW we will be back. Probably sooner rather than later. I would recommend purchasing the VIP Club card for $5. You gain 5% in 'Pizza bucks' for all purchases. So, when it costs you more than $50 just to get in the door... you've made up half the cost already. One other drawback here (and this is where Chuck E Cheese beats John's I.P.) is that they do not have a 'child verification' system. At Chuck E Cheese each parent and child gets stamped with a matching infrared number stamp, and each child is checked vs the adult as they are leaving. I didn't see anything like this at John's. Last note - this place looks very clean and well maintained.

Don't usually care for buffet style restaurants but was pleasantly surprised at how good their salad bar is :-). Pizza and some of the pastas were okay. I enjoyed going on the indoor roller coaster with my daughters, that was awesome. They also had a great variety of cool and fun games for the whole family. Prices were affordable too. Would go again in the future ;-)

This place is las vegas for the 8-14 year old set and their youthful parents. Buffet is decent, the salad bar was good. I only had a complaint that the beets looked too anemic. The bbq chicken pizza was nice, like CPK but all you can eat. I also really loved the little donuts, they are the best dessert ever! They fry the batter in front of you at the dessert buffet and you get them slightly crispy, still hot inside, and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Yeah, that was 4 stars right there. Bad news for parents with kids they are scared to lose: IJ is in seriously in need of a kidnapping control sector. There are tons of people standing about to help in case you lose your kid, but we were miserable trying to find the 13 year olds who kept wandering off, and I kept thinking about how easy it would be to swipe a toddler and walk out the doors with them screaming. Who would stop someone with a kid like that? I'm sure the whole worst case scenario/creepiness factor to the opportunity thing is what makes me wary, as I'm not one of those people who routinely assumes my kid will be swiped. Anyway, that was the only thing that made me nervous. I liked the relative calm of the toddler section, the potties are clean, there are rides (my tiny girl can go on the train roller coaster if accompanied by an adult, but parents be aware: your hip will be bruised afterwards) All in all, a fun experience, lots of lights and sounds and ticket rewards. Very similar to chuck e cheese, santa cruz boardwalk, circus circus, and the pizza/salad/dessert buffet system that seems to be pretty ubiquitous. Price is very good, and we still have over 68 credits on our "incredible John's" easy pass card. Fine for an every other month outing when it's too hot outside, or for a rainy day.

I've been there a handful of times, and I've seen them at their busiest and their not-so-busiest. Except for the fact that it gets insanely busy during the weekends, the great quality of their food and the excellent customer service never changes. Their food is above average. I mean, it's not the absolute best pizza out there, but for an all-you-can-eat it's not that bad. They also have the craziest concoctions of toppings, like peanuts. Their salad bar always looks fresh, and their pasta bar has a ton of choices. And don't get me started on their fresh donuts, because that's an automatic 5 stars. Their facility is definitely geared towards the Chuck E. Cheese type as opposed to the Dave & Buster's crowd. You see a lot more kids running around than you would at D&B. What I like about their arcade area is that it's very clean. And no wonder; it's because they don't allow food or drinks in the arcade area.

i was impressed. been a chuck e cheeser for years, but my son was turning 13 and asked to go here. he and the other teenage boys that we took all had a good time and there were plenty of things to do. it kept everyone entertained (even me). priceier than the cheese since games are cost multiple tokens (in the form of a card that you scan) food is buffet and is stocked often. it's not good food unless you are a junk food, tv dinner eater, but it'll do in a pinch. lots of drink options.

My husband and I went here because of a Living Social deal. The food was what you'd expect from a buffet. Not great, but okay. It reminded me of Chuck E Cheese's if Chuck E. Cheese's had a buffet. The rides seemed like fun and the games were pretty generous with how many tickets you could win. The only thing I have to say though is that I wouldn't go hear if not for the Living Social deal. The amount we would have had to pay is not worth it. I think we paid $24 and it would have normal been somewhere in the $50s range. If you ask me, that's pretty steep for food that's only okay and so few credits for the games. Also, if you are older, I'd stick with Dave and Busters. This place is definitely setup more for kids.

This is way better than Chucky Cheese!!! Better food and games. They have spicy peanut butter pizza. Its different!!! Its buffet style with different types of pizza, salad, mac&cheese, burgers, and soup. They also have different types of dessert: cookies, brownies, soft serve ice cream, and chocolate cake. Unlimited soda. All the pizzas that I taste was pretty good except the peanut butter was really different. The peanut butter was really thick and chewy. The chicken ranch and garlic pesto pizza was really tasty... They have rides, bowling, laser tag and mini roller coaster and more. My son is two yrs old and he is very shy. So, he wanted me to go with him. I told him that I couldn't fit and the baby will get hurt. But I could tell he was having fun. He loves bright lights and balloons. He love it. I wish I wasn't pregnant. I wish I was like kid so I could have play with him more. It was so much fun. When my son gets older, I will give him a bday party here... If its still open.

My niece wanted to go here for her 3rd birthday. She had a blast, and so did I! The pizza isn't the best pizza that I've ever had, but they do have a lot of varieties to choose from. The salad bar is really nice and it has a lot of items to choose from. The only thing that I would add to the menu is buffalo wings. :D

Wish they had one the Bay Area! All-you-can-eat food with plenty of seating. Everybody's given 2 hours to eat, which is perfect because you're not waiting forever for a table. They have a toddler area with a mini gym/slide, even ticket rides for toddlers and older kids - get this, the rides are indoors. This place totally beats Chuck E Cheese and the Jungle. I think I had more fun than my kids?! Oh yeah, tons of parking. It's in an automall plaza - ha! Oh yeah, be prepared for the mile long line ....

This was my first time at John's Incredible Pizza and the food was OK. The place was lots of fun for my kids and they really enjoyed the rides and games. Service was good but the only bad thing is they kick you out of the room once you are finished with your food so the tables would be available for other guests even though it wasn't busy. Another thing was, after I slipped on spilled macaroni and almost fell, they didn't apologized for not cleaning up the mess and didn't thank me for letting them know about the mess to prevent other guests from slipping and falling. This place is lots of fun to go to but just be really careful.

Anything my kids love.. I love!!! I think this place is awesome! It is not a place you go for the food, although it is not horrible. You go here for the entertainment, and all around experience. It is a mini amusement park indoors!!! The experience starts as you enter the building... which is huge! You are greeted by very friendly staff who are helpful and quick. You get to choose between the 5 dining rooms with different themes. Once you have chosen a place to eat you help yourself to the buffet of salad, pizza, pasta and desserts and drinks... all you can eat and drink!! After you have finished eating no need to wait for the check... you have already paid when you came through the door. The kids are so anxious and excited by this point you are now free to play.... they were done eating long ago... Beyond the dinning rooms and buffet is your mini amusement park... video games, ticket games (games you play and get tickets from) and rides; train ride, bumper cars, a spin ride, and a frog drop... in addition there is mini bowling and a baby play area for the younger kids you brought along. The kids have a blast and get completely worn out! Once you have played all your games you make your way over to the ticket counter machine and pick out your prizes to take home! That is the best part too! You don't just have to leave a fun place like that empty handed... after all the fun you get to have the kids pick out a toy they won and take home!!! I think this make it easy to say good buy to all the fun for the night.. no kicking and screaming... We have been here twice now and will definitely make or way back soon! The one draw back for me is the extremely loud music. I have small kids under three and it is hard to communicate and get their attention!

This place is interesting... ah the wonders past the San Francisco Bay. For $12 you get all you can eat pizza, salad, pasta, and desserts albeit its not the greatest selection of foods, but hey, it matches the price. A couple of theme rooms to sit and eat your food. There's an arcade and I believe there's a carnival in the back hahaha... it's for small children. But wow! Oh the mini donuts. Wait for them. Get em fresh, literally when they finished cooking them and dusting them with powdered sugar. They are GOOD!

We ended up at John's to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Being new to this whole birthday thing (she's our adopted child), we only had our childhood birthday experiences to rely on. After doing several online searches, John's Incredible Pizza came up. It ended up being a great choice as it offered something for everyone: food for the parents who attended, plus games and rides for the kids. We started out with out meal, which worked well. We also had a small pizza snack before leaving, hey once you are in, as long as you keep your receipt, you can go back to the tables (see below). And from here, I can offer a few tips to make your visit a great one: *Arrival: If you are going on a weekend, try to arrive early (before noon). Peak arrival for crowds seemed to be between noon and 2 PM (lines out the door with people waiting to get in). Early arrival lets you enjoy the pizza and salad bar without having to wait long amounts of time to get to the food. Also, you have the chance to get pizza straight out of the oven. *Pay once, eat as much as you like. Like I said, we ate, did rides, played games, then ate a bit more. Save your receipt that shows how many you have paid for (ours was a purple paper) and when you go back for a second snack, just put it back out on your table. Very helpful since you can't take food or drinks out on to the game floor. *Our personal picks: Alfredo pizza (very creamy sauce, lots of gooey cheese), Spicy Peanut Pizza (yes, it sounds weird, but it was quite tasty), and the BBQ Chicken Pizza. *Seating: If you want a quieter meal, stay out of the "kiddie" themed rooms. I know, most people are bringing young children (under 10) but if the adults prefer to have a bit of conversation in a quieter setting, choose another room. We picked the "Fusion" room (Roseville location) and ended up being in there with only one other family. The girls loved it because even though they are pre-tweens, they still know all the musical artists that were playing on the video monitors and thought it was "cool". Also, it was closer to the food, which meant the girls could come and go without an adult having to accompany them. *Rides: As the crowds build, the lines for the rides get longer. My advice? Start with the rides and then move on to the games. This results in less frustration on the part of the kids, especially little ones, who don't have the patient to wait in longer lines. Before standing in line, though, check to see if there is a height requirement. One of our daughter's friends was one inch too short to go on a ride (the spinning ride) and was bitterly disappointed. *Games: We went on a Sunday afternoon and although we had eaten and then done rides, we still had an easy time with the games. Though the crowd behind us was finishing their food and filtering in to the game room while we were still there, we didn't get to a point where we had to wait in long lines to play the games. There is ample staff roaming around, so any malfunctions are fixed quickly and credits issued. My only complaint? There was only one person on the prize counter register and the line of people waiting to reload game cards was 10 people long. This was handled fairly quickly, with a second register opening up within 5 minutes. *Prizes: In my opinion, the machines are fairly bountiful in the tickets you can win. After playing for two hours, my daughter (with the help of myself and my husband) had won nearly 900 tickets. She was able to bypass the smaller items for a really nice stuffed dog (610 tickets) and still has credits for the next trip to add to whatever she wins on that trip. *Kid's Cards: Credits are purchased on a "John's Fun Card" and swiped through many machines for play. On certain machines, you'll swipe your card through a token machine to get tokens for play. These cards can be reloaded (at the registers and online) and credits do not expire. Same for the prize tickets. Once you have fed your tickets into the ticket machine, your earned tickets are swiped onto your Fun Card. Tickets that are not spent on your shopping spree will remain on the card for next time. *John's Club Card: For a mere $5.00 (believe me, once you buy meals and game cards for kids and adults, $5.00 looks like nothing), you get a Club Card that earns you 5% back on all purchases at John's Incredible Pizza. Simply get it swiped before every purchase (dining counter, ticket counter). Register at the store kiosk and scan it on every visit for some type of coupon (I received a "Buy one bumper ride, get one free"). Plus they will e-mail coupons (I've already received a buy an adult meal/get a free ride coupon for our next visit).

We have only been here for birthday parties. It is like an indoor carnival. The game area is way too loud, and not very clean. Their mascot is looking pretty rough around the edges. The employees are nice in a creepy, carnie-like way. My children love it but as a parent, it leaves a lot to be desired. My husband refuses to go back.

I can't believe that the stuff they serve actually passes as food. Definitely not a place to come to in the evenings, any day of the week-so loud and crazy you can't think! Its entertaining and great if you have kids, but not really for adults. I'd rather go to Dave & Buster's.

This place is like a Dave 'n Busters for kids. My bf's 4 year-old niece and 2-year old nephew had their joint birthday party here today. The place was enormous with plenty of places to sit in the four themed rooms. They also have a few private party rooms. The tables were immaculate and the clean-up service was attentive. When you walk in, the first section you'll see is the buffet. It's apparent why you have to pay to get into this place. The buffet isn't sectioned off and there aren't any wristbands or hand stamps to check. Anyone could walk up and take food. Fresh Choice and Hometown Buffet make you pay "cover fees." Why not John's? As of today, the buffet costs $8.99 for adults on weekends and nights, $1.50 for unlimited soda. The food is mediocre to adults because it's catered to kids' tastes, and to kids, the food is absolutely amazing. The salad bar, pasta bar, soup bar, pizza bar, and dessert bar had lots of variety. The pizza bar even had spicy peanut butter pizza and macaroni pizza. Weird, yes, but if you're a kid, they're probably the perfect fusions. You have to try the miniature donuts and cinnamon rolls. They're heavenly. The games are a little expensive, but even the low-end the prizes are pretty good and attainable. If I had kids, I would definitely bring them here. My bf's nephews and nieces had so much fun, they were like little kangaroos all over the place.

This place is just too big and too out of control. Don't go for the food, cause you will be disapointed. If you don't have kids, don't go period. The only way I'll go back is if my lovely children drag me kicking and screaming....

John's is what it is...A lot of people, a lot of people and a lot of flashing lights. The only thing that could be considered really great of the bunch is the flashing lights. My 3 and 6 year old girls had a wonderful time playing games and going on rides.....rides you say how could there be rides. Well this place is huge. It is about the size of a football field inside. About 1/2 is rides about 1/4 food and 1/4 seating. Pros: Lots of food choices, Salads, potatoes, pasta, soup, dessert and Pizza (about 12 different types.) Some of the seating was secluded enough to be almost quiet. Games and rides for toddlers to teenagers. Cons: No kid check. (Chuckies makes you check in and out) Food is just so-so. Not cheap. Will I go again. Well I have 2 young children so I think I am doomed to go again.

I like this place, I don't know if it's the niffty themed rooms or the carnival like feeling in the game and ride area. Could also be the peanut butter pizza, or the Alfredo pizza, or even the Macaroni and cheese pizza, who knows. My 21 month old daughter loves the smaller kids area where she goes down the slide over and over and over and over again. The only thing I don't like is that this place is a zoo on the weekends and the staff, even though they try their hardest, does get over run with kneecap neanderthals looking for their mommies who have decided to stay in the Fusion Room instead of watching their kids. One another high note: you play with cards that have credits on them so your pants don't fall down with all the coinage and you have the choice of having the prize tickets credited to the card or you can have the machines spit out the tickets like a drunk frat on Sunday morning instead.

Great place to take the kids as an alternative to the giant Petri-dish that is ChuckE's. It's a lot cleaner than that place and has better games for them. The only problem is that you can drop a TON of money on those games if you're not careful. I had my two with me for a friends' childs' birthday party and I was amazed that I dropped about $50 just for the game tokens! The food is what you would expect from an AYCE buffet. The pizza comes in a variety of concoctions, even a PB&J version for the kids (yeeeach!). The salad bar is adequate, but this is a very bad place for anyone on a carb-restricted diet. Better to avoid altogether. One observation: People! - you can make multiple trips because it's a buffet! You don't have to pile your plate up like Mt.Vesuvius!! Let's have a little class, shall we?

If you are looking for fine dining, stay away from this place. The food is average(cheeseburger pizza was pretty good though) but that is not the reason to come here. This place is awsome for kids as it is a secure place that they can eat, run around, and be kids. This place is for kids and more than served its purpose. My son spilt his water on the floor and the workers cleaned it up without hesitation as it probably happens all the time. The video game selection was kinda geared towards tickets but my 2 year old just loved looking at the lights and loved the noise. I would definitely recommend taking kids here and will definitley go back again.

They have a variety of pizza's and pasta's and love their garlic bread and a great salad bar and most of all my granddaughters love this place. We've celebrated their birthdays here a couple of times or we just come here to let our girls have fun. Great place for family fun and eating.

A buddy of mine, who has 3 boys under 9 was on the night shift with the kids, and he invited me along to this place I have never even heard of. I don't have kids of my own, so this review is from an adult perspective. I was impressed. Their obvious attempt to be nothing like Scandia or Chuck E. Cheese was impressive. The buffet is nice, but I only had one kind of pizza, and I have to admit, I laughed when I first saw it. Pizza with Cheese and Macaroni on it. I certainly did a double take when it came out. I nearly ate an entire pizza of that myself. Man it was tasty. The desserts were great and their little donut making machine made me regret my last Christmas list. Had I known these machines existed, my holiday season would have been a little different. Their indoor spinning ride was actually a lot of fun. I liked this place. It's like a gaming casino for kids, and it still costs the parents about the same.

  • A Z.

The food is pretty good for this type of place, and my kids loved the gaming area, etc. The only problem is that the music volume is WAY TOO LOUD, we had to leave early because it was hurting our ears to be in there. I just spoke to management, and they said they keep it at a set level. But, I would have to ask for them to adjust it next time I come in, and they would assess if that was possible.

    (4)

Way too expensive for what it is. You'd be better off food wise and entertainment wise if you fed the kids a happy meal and bought them $20 in tolkens at scandia.

I held my son's 5th birthday party here. I have to say it is 10x better then Chuck E. Cheese. I reserved a room and our birthday host greeted us all in the special birthday entrence and escorted us to our private room. The room was decorated with balloons and a big sign that had my son's name on it. The host explained how things would go. He brought two pizzas and two pitchers of drinks for the children while the adults were free to go to the buffet. We all ate and the host, played musical chair, hot potato and one other game. They even provided small prizes such as a hot wheel car etc. Then some bear came in and took pictures with the kids, we cut the cake, opened presents and then the loaded pre paid cards were given out. The host bagged all the gifts and took the extra cake to hold for us until we were ready to leave. I did not have to do a thing. I repeat...not a thing. The best part is I bought cards for all the adults in our party and I think they had as much fun as the kids. I also have a toddler and they have a special gated play place just for him. He and I had fun going down the slide, and running around the joint. I invited 18 people, got them the best card and it was 250 dollars. It was the best money spent to make my son feel happy on his bday, but best of all everyone had a great time. The food was really good too for a buffet. I loved it here

A little piece of my own personal hell. This is a casino for kids. Actually if I am ever to go back I might sneak my own free drinks in just to make it through the day. This is where we are training the next generation to gorge themselves on carbs then to put their money into machines that flash lights and make noise. Not exactly the crowd you expect when you are in Roseville either. I went to my nieces 6th birthday party here - I'm sure she thought it was awesome. She must have because this is her second year having a birthday there. I, on the other hand, thought the size of the room they shove all the people into and then expect everyone to eat and kids to run around was ridiculous. The employee who hosted our party didn't seem to do a very good job - never made an announcement that pizza was coming or that we should go eat or anything - just sort of left us hanging. I think we would have been better off just taking over a corner of one of the themed eating rooms where everyone else eats. Maybe I just don't get it and everyone else loves it?

"Look at all the minivans!" is what you hear from the backseat when you're in for a rockin Saturday night. Life lesson: do your yelp research before you buy your groupons. It turns out that John's is not like Dave & Busters. I did not know this, but whatever! Okay, down to business. The salad bar is impressive and well stocked. The pizza and everything else are...okay. The misleading groupon included a fun card for games. The games are a good time, but seriously rigged! For shame! I have a new theory that arcades are just a training ground for casinos. If you're in it for the tickets, head straight to the Elvis coin drop game. That thing gives major payout. This is a fun time if you're looking for a change from your bar/restaurant/movie routine. After burning through $30 worth of game credit, we left with a glow in the dark inflatable ball, a plastic flying frisbee thing, and three awesome deputy sheriff badges. There is a bar, and if I remember right, I think it was just beer and wine. Hmmm idea: bumper car drinking game!

Parents have to buy the buffet to enter. The food is gross and the serving area is dirty, as I would expect from a place like this. I would rather not be forced to pay for crappy food that I won't eat. The line to enter was out the door and they only had one cashier working which made getting literally a 1-hour ordeal. Big fun with 3-year-old boys! Bottom line, not worth the money or time. My son enjoys Chuck E Cheese's just as well.

We won't be having another birthday party at this place. Before the party date arrived I was questioning how well it would go over, which is never a good sign. The place was confusing to us and our party guests. I brought in a large basket filled with the goody bags and other items. The employee handed out the bags to the kids and that was the last I saw of the basket. I called the very next morning hoping to get my items back, but no one can seem to get me an answer as to where my things are. Call me old-fashioned, but I think good customer service is very important, this place ranks very low in that area. Therefore, I have to give this place only one star. The kids had a great time but I can't see myself ever going back.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! It's like Chuck-E-Cheese, but way better food and more high tech! I love their buffet food and it's pretty cheap. They have a lot of different types of pizza you won't see anywhere else, but I don't usually get much of their pizza. I usually get the game card for $25 and share with my boyfriend, and it lasts us for a few hours. They have a few rides, and their games are amazingly fun. There's usually a short wait, but the line goes pretty quick.

We've been here a couple of times with our family. It's a great place for group parties. We don't have a place like this in San Jose. The closest thing is probably Dave and Busters (without the bar area). I really like the atmosphere because it's family-friendly. There's different rooms like the toons room (where kids can watch cartoons), sports room, etc. Then there's games and rides for the kids. The food is pretty interesting. You can order some special type of pizza like a macaroni pizza, hamburger pizza, and even a PEANUT kind. I prefer the pesto kind. Customer service was decent when I've been there. We will definitely come back.

Much better than the giant rat place. The food is good and the games are much more varied.

This place was fun. I was with my little nieces and nephew in the kiddie play area and I don't understand why are there 8-10 years old kids in there playing rough. On top of that they acted like the inside was a jungle gym giving little kids like around 2-4 ideas of climbing up and swinging like the older kids. This place is full of high school kids on Friday with teenage moms there who don't know how to look after their kids. overall this place is really fun to go as long as you don't mind the loud and annoying kids. For young adult it would be fine. but little kids its not as great. The food is food but long wait for pizza, salad, and their tasty doughnuts. Those are so yummy.

    (3)
  • Amanda J.

um, more mediocre than incredible. the food is not good but the kids liked the rides and games. We had to stand in line forever to pay at the entrance as they only had one cashier for the packed line.

The food is terrible. Worse than Chuck E Cheese. Baked potatoes were hours old and/or overcooked. Pasta was hours old and/or overcooked. Pizza very greasy & sparsely topped. Staff are mostly teens/early 20s - friendly. The place is dirty. Even the benches out front are dirty. My child enjoyed the games & rides, but their credits are overpriced. Will not go back.

I Took my 5year here on Sunday, and had a great time. This makes Chuck e-cheese look like Walmart. The Food buffett includes salad, pizza, pasta, and dessert which is not bad at all. And there are a few different themed rooms to choose to dine in. We paid about 50.00 for 2 adults and 1 child. Which included a few hours of credits to play on all the games. Because we went on a weekend it was very busy; if you can I would suggest going during the week when it is less crowded. It was also as clean as I one can imagine with non-stop germ filled children running around touching everything. We will be going back.

All kids love this place. If you're just there to eat, than it's pretty affordable, but once you hit the arcade, that's where they rob you blind! We usually wind up spending $100. in credits!! Great place for a birthday party. My kids had their last one here. Decent price for what you get and the great thing is you can move from the party rooms to any of the open seating and stay all day, which is what we did!! For one low price, I was able to provide lunch, entertainment and dinner for all the guests, some of whom traveled from the Bay Area! Love the mac'n'cheese pizza, peanut butter pizza and the donuts when they're making them fresh. Sometimes when it's really crowded, they don't replenish food as quickly as you would like, run out of things--cups, sugar, certain pizzas, mac'n'chesse....and tables aren't bussed.

OK this one is for the kids. There is a roller coaster in here. C'mon thats gotta impress a little. Lot's to do and decent food. Much better than Chuckee Cheese. 5 times more expensive though.

Nice place, crazy on weekends though! Every time we go there just isn't enough help at the front to get people in the door. The staff is friendly but there just aren't enough of them. I would go more if it didn't take 20 minutes of standing in line with little ones to just get in the door.

I got a two for one coupon in the mail to alert me to this new Roseville Restaurant. A pizza buffet, you say? With games for the kidlet to play? You know I had to check it out. So we went tonight, a Thursday night, since the schoolyard rumor mill had informed me that there is a line out the door on weekends. When I walked in, my initial impression was "Holy Crap, this place is HUGE". There was a considerable line for a Thursday night, but they had 4 cashiers working, so it went fast. The cashier was friendly, and actually took off the cost of my buffet, rather than my sons cheaper buffet. Probably a screw up on his part, but it worked for me. An adult buffet (with soda) costs 9.99. Kids ages 7-12 are 5.98. You can buy your "fun card" at the same time, which you swipe to play arcade games. The buffet included separate areas for a salad bar, pizza, pasta, and desserts. All of the food was mediocre. The best things I tried were the bow-tie pasta in creamy pesto sauce and the garlic tomato pizza. The worst was the gnocchi. My son pronounced the buffet "a kid paradise", since most of the food was of the kid friendly variety. They have 4 different dining areas that you can take your food into. They all have themes, like sports, cartoons, futuristic, or log cabin. We chose the cabin because it was the quietest area. After we ate, we went to the arcade area. I always find those places obnoxious, but the noise level was not as bad as Chuck E. Cheese or Sunsplash. Besides your typical arcade games, they have 4 or 5 actual rides. I might have gone on one of the spinny rides, had I not just consumed an ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet. The games spit out tickets so your kid can cash them in for cheap prizes. So in summary, I would go here again, especially on a rainy day. Kids ages 4-10 will definitely enjoy this place. Speaking of which, my kid decided he was too old for Chuck E Cheese when he was 7, but John's was still OK, no giant Rats or anything un-cool like that.

Neat idea but... the games were expensive. Also, the food was slightly better than ChuckECheez. The pizza was ok and so was the salad. The pasta, however was bland but cooked well--not soggy. The only thing special was the fresh cooked doughnuts at the bar... That was cool!

This place is a wannabe Chuck-E-Cheese except their pizza is a notch higher in quality (but then again, Chuck was never the five-star gourmet was he?) . The video games are quite pricey and there are a lot of scamps running around and slamming into grownups' legs. One pecuilar aspect is that they offer microbrews in enormous mugs depsite that it's a family place.

My review is for my private birthday party experience at John's. We reserved 2 adjoining rooms initially, leaving a deposit of $50 for each room. Then we had many cancellations, and had to downsize to 1 room. Forfeitting $50 deposit for the first room because we were within the 72 hour limit. Our party had been downsized to 8 people, but you must pay for 12 minimum. No problem. We arrived 15 minutes early and were assigned 2 hostesses for our room. We moved to the room where they bring you 2 pitchers of soda and either a pepperoni or cheese pizza. The also show you the time guidelines for the activities in your room, and give you your tokens, etc. There is a small TV in the room, and they played Spongebob for the birthday kid. The only complaint I really had was that the 2 hostesses assigned to the room just stood there and watched everybody eat and carry on. Awkward. They were polite and friendly, but unnecessary basically. We never asked them to leave, but maybe we should have. I guess for some parties they are probably busy. It was a definite damper at our party. They can also entertain kids with games for tickets, but in our case it was a hostess asking questions about toys for 5 minutes to win a few tickets. John's is a buffet-style restaurant. Do-it-yourself. Even with hostesses, you still get your own food. You just have a couple strangers watching you eat standing right next to you.. Otherwise great. John's-skip the hostesses and maybe offer that as an option. Keep the parties do-it-yourself.

Went to John's Last Night for first time, and it was nothing less than a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was looking for a family activity (indoor due to the weather) My two children are both teenagers so I wanted something more than a chuckie Cheese. The food buffet price was very reasonable! and I bought 2 fun cards with the max ($24.99) which came to about $100 . We spent three hours , and the kids only spent an additional $10 each so the night was in my view awesome and reasonable. The choices of pizza were interesting, I enjoyed the cheeseburger one. The pasta was a little bland, but for me it was nice to have a choice of something more than pizza. They could add some more to the dessert bar, but I'm just being picky. I purchased the VIP card for $5 and when I registered I got a coupon for a free adult Buffet for next time so it already paid for itself. I would strongly recommend this place if you want a variety of more than games. You can Bowl, ride a ride, play a game, and there are a few different themed rooms you can choose to eat in which was amazing! we are definitely fans!

Ha, Ha! So my husband and I have affectionately named this place, "John's Incredible Nightmare". And what a nightmare it is. My first time there was to drop my son off for a birthday party. Guess what? We couldn't get in!! There was a line so long, only one girl checking each name in a notebook and we were fenced in the room. I expected bouncers or something. So we climbed over the fence and walked right in. What a joke. When I came to pick my kids up it was such a madhouse, with so many rooms (not an open floor plan at all) that I couldn't find them for awhile. After I finally did and headed toward the door, I noticed that NO ONE checked the kids (for a hand-stamp or something, like at Chuck E. Cheese's) to see if they were mine. Talk about a parent's worst nightmare and a kidnapper's dream. We tried it one more time as a family on a weeknight and it was the same madhouse. I told the boys to spend all their tickets because we are never going back.

My husband and I went the other night with a good friend of ours and his 3 boys. While the kids had a blast, it was just ok to the adults. The food was ok. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either (mostly bland, with the exception of the bread sticks which were yummy). There were far less arcade games than we thought. Other than the rides, there was mostly the ticket games and the number of tickets needed for prizes were way, way, way more than say SunSplash, Scandia and Chuck E Cheese so the kids didn't get much even though we spend over $100. The one thing better than the other places though were the fact that there was rides (the kids loved the mini roller coaster and bumper cars), but then again, SunSplash has go carts, golf and laser tag. Although, it was mostly coin/moneyless so you could have all your credits on a card and all your tickets on the card which is much easier to save for another visit. On a final note, the place was really dirty. I know we were there late in the evening, but if it was a Wednesday night, and if was being properly cleaned (I know this because I use to work for a commercial janitorial company), it wouldn't be as bad as it was. The corners and edges of the carpets were discolored from the dust and dirt build up, the restroom wall and partitions had major spots and smears of dirt and grease, the toilets had a ring in them, and the grout lines were totally discolored to name a few issues. Overall the experience was great if you have kids, but unless you're a young at heart (very young at heart) adult, it might be kinda of pricey and boring.

This place is tons of fun, but a little bit hard to take kids to. The kids always have a blast, but I wish there were times that you could take them WITHOUT having to purchase a buffet meal. I don't feed my children pizza ofter, and it is too high priced to just eat the salad bar. If I could go for games only we would visit much more ofter, but with the meal having to be includes, we are limited to very few visits.

Many, many of the games were out of order, and one of the rides was not working. The place is mobbed, so you have to watch your kids like a hawk. It's not like Chuck E. Cheese...there are no wrist bands, and there seem to be a lot of trashy adults, there without children, stuffing their faces with all you can eat pizza prior to heading off to the bowling alley.

Oh, lord. How did you allow me to end up here. I have no children, but I do have a four year old nephew visiting for the weekend. In fact he's taking a nap in the next room right now. We had to go to JIP. We've heard so much about it. About the food. There was hardly any pizza out. Maybe 10 slices available for the 30 people hovering around looking for grub. My wife loved the salad bar. I ate some mac and cheese and a plate of cottage cheese from the salad bar. ( yes, I got my weekly allotment of dairy today.) Once we ate, It was time for games. I really liked the pre-loaded game card. Really easy for me to play games non stop without realizing how much money I just blew. The nephew seemed to have a great time. He was so worn out he passed out in the car on the way back. Not a bad place for a one time stop. I don't envy you parents that have to do this every weekend. After 1 hour in the game room, I felt like I was wondering around a Vegas casino. Lights' flashing, bells ringing, and uncontrollable urge to drink. That is one good thing about this place. There is a room full of t.v.'s with sports on and they serve beer.

Wow! Where to start! I knew that arriving at a kid's pizza/entertainment place was a risk at 5 p.m. on a saturday but there was a group going and I had never been. So my wife and I go......wait in line for about 25 mins, not to mention we cut the line with our group or our wait would've been at least double that! But ok we would've waited for a table anywhere on a saturday so we deal. Price for two people for dinner is about $22, not too bad, and then we get some game credits so we're looking at about $40, still not bad. So we sit down, get our food and at first everyone was like oh cool they have macaroni & cheese pizza, and hamburger pizza, and spicy peanut butter pizza? Thats great! Well at least it seemed interesting at first but the food/desserts were all two thumbs down and had my wife praying to the porceline god in no time! We ate and figured whatever what do you expect? We play some games, and there wasnt a lot to choose from and everything was just really overcrowded. Then our friends want us to go on the spinning (fair type) ride.....I think to myself "self you just ate tons of pizza, is it really that smart to spin around in circles like your gonna play pin the tail on the donkey? but oh well we do.......5 mins later my wife knows shes gonna barf and after the smell of the (unkept, dirty) womans bathroom she does and even i almost do as well from the distance it smelt horrific. So we go back to the table and the time comes for everyone to leave and our other friends went on the fair like ride, so right at the entrance he barfed as well and then again. The worker comes over with a broom and sweeps up the barf and throws down a caution sign......no he did not mop the floor he simply got the chunks and moved on! Then a man walked by the sign and slipped, and yes you guessed it right he slipped in barf and landed in it thinking it was soda, too embarassed he just got up and walked away. While some other people started throwing up behind us as well. So im guessing there is a lot of throwing up going there with people stuffing themselves with pizza and then spinning around in circles, especially cause the worker seemed unphased by it. So we left and when we left i can assure you we left for good. Service was horrible, food was NOT GOOD, and place was just way too overcrowded. I am literally going to always associate this place with throw-up. So save your money and throw up for something worthwhile.

$6.99 adult lunch $5.99 older kid $4.49 toddler $1.50x2 drinks $24.99 xnumber of credits + 2 rides $47.15 total So we made it at 3 PM, so I got the adult lunch price, otherwise I think I would have paid $9.99. I think $50 is a lot, so we ate when we got there. I let the kids play till all their credits were gone, then we ate before we left. The kids like the playing parts of course. My kids are five years apart. In age, but they both found games/things to do. The food isn't great, but it's food and since you have to pay to eat to get in, you might as well eat. My favorite item has to be the donuts. I tried the pizzas, and pastas, and soft serve, but the donut is the best. (This is our 2nd visit here. We came here last year and I remember enjoying the donuts then.) It was a good way for the kids to kill 2 hrs of play time.

We came here on a weekday around lunch time. The price was reasonable ($15.00 for two adults and the baby ate free) and it was a fun way to keep a toddler busy for a couple hours. We didn't feel the need to buy any cards/points/credits because our baby is too young to know the difference. I can see how this place would be pricy for older kids, or at dinner time. The food was pretty decent, but the breadsticks were amazing! The dessert was not much, I took one bite of the "cheesecake" and had to throw the rest out (tasted like a mouth full of sour cream, with no sweetness or firmness whatsoever). Overall a fun and tasty experience, and the staff is super-friendly, which makes us want to return.

My boyfriend and I found this place while searching for the mall. It still creeps me out because I remember when this place was a Sam's Club. Well, we went in, paid ALOT for just so-so pizza, salad, pasta. I think the place itself is a nice concept but they really need to up the quality of their food. They have separate dining areas which is pretty cool. We ended up sitting down at the sports bar themed room and enjoyed our mediocre meal. I didn't finish my food because I was too hyped up to go and play at the arcade. (: Wow.. our money did NOT go far. We rode the bumper cars and the twirly whirl. Played a few rounds of arcade games and realized that we were out of money. John's is very clean and a great place to go if you have kids or you have nothing else to do (and have money to burn).

PROS: Bigger Than Chuck E - Cheese. The Buffet concept makes it more simple. Plenty of parking. Salads, Desserts, Ice cream cone machines, slurpees, automatic coffee machines, right off the main freeway 80. lots of Room to walk around- Not like the small Mouse that everyone experienced Chucke e Cheese, Themed Rooms are awesome. Flat screen tvs. CONS: I dont why they Keep the Crushed Red Peppers and Parmesan Cheese for pizzas Next to the Automatic Coffee Machine..I dont know why the play machines take the Fun Card & some dont take it? Kids get pretty confused.

This was our first time at John's Incr. The place was very clean. The food was good. I loved the salad bar. And the price is great. For under $10.00 (adults), you get all-you-can eat pizza, salad, pasta and drinks! Yes, I would definitely return here. BTW, I would have given it a five star, but some of the pasta's were dried.

Taking some kids here for some fun and food, never been here, and hearing they serve beer I was a little excited to see what this place is all about. This place is a complete disappointment. First, the food is god awful. The pizzas are mostly bread and cheese. They skimp on the toppings (I'm talking about 2 pieces of chicken on a chicken pizza). Not everything was put out. There were many empty trays where pizzas should've been. The pastas, salad, soup, and everything else was pretty much crap as well. But as long as the kids liked it I don't care. I didn't even get any beer because their selection sucked and it was overpriced. $6.75 for a glass. Then it was to the games. To top off my disappointments about 1/4 or 1/3 of the games were out of order. The water didn't shoot straight in the game where you shoot the water in the clown's mouth to pop a balloon (or move something). The kids weren't very good at these ticketed games so I had to play a few of them and gain a decent amount of tickets so they can go home with a souvenir. Avoid this place if possible. Take your kids to CHuck E CHeese, dave n busters (even better) or to the park. The kids had fun but I was left feeling like we could've done much better.

Been here almost every year! My sister likes throwing her kids bday here! I wouldn't. It's expensive, especially if you have hella guests. She ended up spending like $600+. The buffet is cool. I like the rice pilaf and the fried donuts. Pizza was ok wasn't the best. $10 for all u can eat is not bad though. Great place for adult and kids. They have this dragon rollercoaster ride that is for kids but adults can ride too with a younger kid. I got on it with one of my nieces and that ride was scary and fast. It gave me a whiplash!!

I prefer John's to D&B. With some guilt, I stuff my face out at the buffet. They're known for their crazy pizza toppings, but my favorite is the vegetarian. As usual, the pasta dishes are undersalted and overcooked, but I like to play it up with my desserts and mix everything together. The prices for the games are much more reasonable than D&B's.

I went here for my 6 yo nephews birthday. We had our own private room, which was cool, but we could hear the other party beside us (kinda noisy). The pizza buffet was actually good...There was not that much selection for dessert, but I was waiting for the fried donuts...and everytime I went back up ...it was all gone! The staff were very friendly and nice. I never had anyone who worked at a buffet ask me if I was finding everything ok or start a conversation with me. :-) The games were ok, the kids enjoyed it and that's all that matters! I would definitely take my kid to this place if I had one! :-)

Don't hate on John's! It is what it is- a place for kids to play and go nuts. Lots of different games, themed rooms aimed at kids and adults, salad bar, pizza, desserts, sodas, coffee drinks, wine, beer. The salad bar is big and fresh, especially considering it is not the main attraction. There is a wide variety of pizzas- 10 or more- despite what another reviewer stated, and if you don't like those, you can order a custom pizza with the order form provided. My son ordered one today with mac n cheese, pepperoni, sausage and olives. It was a yummy train wreck. :) Homemade donuts are not to be missed. For rides, this location has bumper cars, the "Twister", a small kiddie roller coaster, Frog Hopper, and a small play area for preschool age kids. There are 3 ways you can save yourself some money on your next trip: 1. Sign up for John's emails to receive coupons and deals. The one we used today was $15 for a kid's buffet and drink and a $15 game card. Plus the adults earned an extra 10 game credits each with buffet purchase. 2. Buy a John's VIP card (or multiple cards) for $5 each. You will earn back 5% of what you spend, get a free buffet in the month of your birthday, and once per visit you can play a game to win a prize (free buffet, ride ticket, etc) 3. Only buy buffets and game cards using John's gift cards that you can purchase at Costco. You can get $100 value for $80, or sometimes $50 when there is a special sale event. That is a 20-50% savings right there. Will you drop a load of money here? Yes. Will you have a great time? Absolutely.

John's has gone downhill FAST! When it first opened the food was great. The pizzas were tasty, the salads were fresh and the beers were decent (size and price). Over the last year or so it has not been up to par. The pizzas are not covered in toppings and pretty skimpy overall. Further, they are not a good as before. Plus, their variety is limited. Yes, I know you can order any pizza that you can imagine; however, it takes a long time to finally get the pizza out. The salads (depending on what day you go) are generally fresh, there have been occasions where it seemed a little on the soggy side. The price for beer has increased and the mugs have decreased in size! Nuff said. The price for the buffet has also increased (dinner used to be $8.99, now it's $9.99) and that is not including a drink. Yeah, yeah it's only a dollar, but add that to a group and it adds up. Same thing for the kids price, and if you have a lot of kids it will really add up. I do like what they have done with the game room. Awesome, they have more up-to-date games and have something for all ages. Some of the games are still broken and management has yet to either put a sign indicating the machine is going to take your token or fix it. I want the old prices! I want the former beer sizes! I want the quality pizza!

What?! "we no longer split points across separate cards" . . says the employee that almost got the stupid smacked off his face. The only thing I was looking forward to . . . as my reward for putting up with this place was the Donut machine - and it was out of order. They really need to install a padded room for the adults.

It has been almost 2 weeks since the incident at John's Incredible Pizza and I only feel more frustration and disappointment. I can not even seem to get a response or call back from upper management. I want the security footage so I can show the world how ridiculous this man acted and how unacceptable the ordeal really was. I have heard of unbelievable things like this happening but never thought it would happen like this to me or my 2 young children. Not cool.

I wish they made another one closer to the EG area.. This place is much better than chuck e cheese.. It is more expensive and the food slightly tastes better. I like how they have an all you can eat but wished for a bit more variety. But it's a cheap price for what you get so it is reasonable. It seems like a great place for groups and birthday parties. They have actual rides there: bumper cars, spinning ride that makes you wanna puke, and a few more. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The service was awesome. They greet you occasionally and make sure the food and games were okay. We're definitely thinking of coming back here for birthday parties.

Fun for the bigger kids!! The rides and games. My teens love here!! I like the seating areas, the food isn't A1 but it's all you can eat!! They also have a wine and beer bar !! Pretty neat, my husband likes the sports entertainment dining area so he can watch the sports on the many television screens in that eating area!!

Don't do it! Expensive for what you get out of it which is not much! First time here went for. Birthday and it was ghetto full of guys with pants down bellow there ass and these are the dads! And moms with no teeth in there head probably hitting the crack pipe to much! The staff overall were nice but seem to be more along the high school age didn't seem like anyone was in charge! The food overall was not good pizza sucked! They never had any cups to get a soda the icy machine wasn't working, there never seemed to have enough food made! The desert station had nothing one of the ice cream machines broken no cookies I would not recommend maybe because I have been to casino buffets where they actually are always stocked and pretty good food but if you want food and games I would recommend Dave and busters granted it's more for adults but a lot classier and better food

I was expecting worse based on the reviews, but I would definetly rank it higher than the chuck e cheese in the arden area. The pizza wasn't bad and the deserts, icees, soft serve ice cream, fried chicken made the buffet price worth it. The games were fun, I wish the toddler area had more games and was caged off so they can't run off. The gym toddler area is caged off though. Will definitely be back.

Ok lets start out with the fact that your entire party had better be with you, because you cannot pay for your entire party all at once. We had our daughters birthday party at home, but my sister from out of town was not able to attend. So a couple weeks later my sister decided to make a surprise visit to us. We decided on the fly that we were going to go to Johns incredible pizza and have a little family party there for her. I also invited a couple of my friends who were not able to make the birthday party either. All in all there were 5 adults and 4 kids. We get there all at separate times with in just a few minutes of each other. My husband and I we're waiting in line for 15 minutes, and then my sister called me while we're in line, to let me know that she was there. And I said okay well just wait outside, and we will pay for you upfront, then we'll get you in. So we get up to the front, and we let the cashier know what we're doing. But low and behold, for some ridiculous reason we cannot pay for our party if they are not there with us. So we had to go outside, get my sister, and wait for my other friends to show up, get back in line, and then pay for everybody all at once. So with our 3 year old and our 2 year old we were in the John's incredible pizza line for a total of probably 40 minutes. Now let's move on to the service. It was actually quite good if you could find somebody that would stop and give you the time of day. The nice thing is is they put my daughters birthday cake in the refrigerator. The bad part was, having to walk around for 10 to 15 minutes looking for somebody to get it out. I stopped an employee walking by the room that we were sitting in. I asked him where we could get our cake, he told me to go to the lady who was serving alcohol at the bar. So I go to her and I wait in line for at least five minutes, while she's conversing and laughing with the people in front of me. When I finally get up to her she tells me oh I'm sorry I can't leave my post you're going to have to go ask somebody up front, because I don't have a radio on. So I go up front. And as I'm getting dirty looks from all the other poor patrons who have been waiting in line, I get the attention of one of the cashiers. They told me oh you're supposed to ask the person who's cleaning the tables in your room. So they try to call the person who is cleaning the tables in our room. And then tells me, well he probably doesn't have a radio on because he's not answering me, but if you go back to the room he'll be there in the dish washing room. So I go back and I look. Low and behold he's not there, I look around the room he is nowhere to be found. So I hop on over two rooms over, and I find one of the dishwashers in that room, and I said listen all I want is my daughters cake out of the refrigerator. You're the 4th person I've come to. Can you please help me get it? His name was Africa and he was very sweet and kind and he went and got it for me. Now let's move on to how ridiculously unorganized and packed it was. We regrettably and mistakenly went on a saturday around 4 p.m. It was RIDICULOUSLY packed. None of the employees really k And the only reason I recognized this question a few times from other patrons is because I asked it myself. Why are you guys still letting people in when there's nowhere for anybody to sit? There were people standing along the walls eating. They have a family of 12 at a table for six but had a family of six at a table for 12. And when asked why they did it that way, they said Oh because there was nowhere else for them to sit. Why can't they just be like a lot of other restaurants who keep count of the patrons coming in versus how many chairs and tables they have for people. Like places like Applebee's or Chili's, on their super super busy nights, if your family 44 but there are no tables available for 4 people you have to wait until one comes available. Easy solution right? Well not for these guys here, they all ran around like chickens with their heads cut off. Now let's move on to the game room. As I said before I have a2 year old daughter. And really the only thing for her to do there pretty much, was play in the playroom for little toddlers and babies. There is a maximum height sign out in the front of the play area. But did that stop all these crazy, out of control 8 and 10 year old kids, who clearly are over the maximum height from getting in there and romping around not considering where they were running and jumping? No. Nobody was there nobody even cared. Or how about a lot of their games or rides were not working! The entire experience was ridiculous, unpleasant and when I left I had such high anxiety. Oh and the food was ok. I didn't like how it was presented or how anybody can just touch it or put it back. It was quite gross. A lot of the dishes still had some food on them, good luck finding a cup. It was just absolutely horrible. I can safely say that we will never go back.

Easily the best children's play place I've ever been to. I went on a Monday afternoon which may have helped, but it was very clean and well kept. Games and rides weren't old and outdated compared to Chuck E. Cheese and the food was surprisingly tasty. Not to mention the staff was extremely helpful, especially Damien. Looking for a fun kid's day? Go here!

I'm here right now and this place sucks. The sports room smells like urine and they won't allow you purchase the credit package and put it on multiple cards. We spent 78.90 and my husband and I are sitting at the table waiting for the girls to finish playing games so we can go. I'm scared to eat the food due to the urine smell in the room. Who knows what's in the food. Should've went to Dave and Busters.

What a FUN place for kids AND adults!!! Arcades are up to date and high tech! The rides are fun, especially the bumper cars!!! Nice variety at the buffet!!! An employee there Damein is great! He walked around and made sure everyone was having a great time and thanked everyone for coming into John's Incredible Pizza! He definitely stands out from the rest of the crew and definitely deserves the recognition. He helped make this day extra fun for us! Thanks Damein!

My experiences here were quite enjoyable. Both times I came here on a weekday early afternoon. Not very crowded at all, highly recommend visiting at these times. There are many different themed dining rooms which suit all ages. I enjoy the sport-themed one the best. Prices are fair for everything. The food: very various they offer salad, soup, potato, pizza, pasta, and dessert bars. Drinks have many choices (including beer and wine for grown-ups at an additional charge). The quality is okay but you cannot complain about it. The "fun world": many arcade games to choose from with fair charges of each credit. I especially enjoy the "twister" ride for it is the most appropriate for older children/adults. But at my dismay, it is a bit toned down. The other small rides are okay. Nothing too special. I do not recommend the bowling part. It is confusing and boring. I even won the "Deal or No Deal". But many games are often being worked on. I witnessed a child's birthday party here and the host seemed friendly and the children enjoying themselves, making me happy to recommend to my family and acquaintances. Overall, this is great for children and adults of all ages to enjoy and way better than "Chuck e Cheese" for everyone. Best. Day. Ever.

Great place for kids bday or any kids occasion. My whole family came here and when I say whole family, I mean the whole shabang and they accommodated us. They have a buffet style eatery and a couple of rides and plenty of games for the kiddos. Even for the adults! They take reservations for party's and you can bring your own decorations and cake. Games have tickets that come out and you exchange them for prizes.

Their buffet is great! I love all of their pizzas, my favorite is the macaroni and cheese pizza. They have a bunch of other items besides pizza too which is nice. There's plenty of seating and the arcade is nice. Good place for all ages but typically there's a ton of kids running around still.

Not seeing how the name incredible works here. Ill admit was a bit frustrated from taking forever at car dealership across the street. I came in about 5pm to I don't know 15 to 20 people in line with 1 cashier, you must pay to come in, Food was so so but its a buffet wasn't expecting 5 star dining. Now for the fun part, omfg so I spend $25 for a funcard that I have to share between 3 kids with nothing to tell me that I cant split it until I ask for separate cards. I go back to the arcade, this aint not chucky cheese folks games cost like 1 to 2 bucks each the rides are like 2 to 4 bucks each. Oh wait it gets better not only do I get to pay 50 bucks to enter the place for mediocre food I get to pay to go on rides and play games. Best of the best you have to wait for someone to come run the ride???????????????????? Imagine how long Six Flags would be in business if you had to go find someone everytime you wanted to go on a ride and spend more money to do so. Imagine going to the state fair paying to get in going to the midway to find like 3 people working all the rides and games so everytime you need help you have to wait..... and wait. If your so cheap as to not staff your rides, close them I mean really. then after my kids take an hour to spend the 25 dollar card, oh don't worry it would have went way faster had we not spent so much time waiting. We go to claim our tickets. Which again is waiting, now I cant totally blame this place for this line some kids were like rabbits jumping all over the place trying to decide what they want. But hey if you have more than like 2(ok really it was 3 but im trying to make a point) things may go faster. Now I say they had 3 people working, 4 rides and a place to claim your tickets with 3 people, hmmmmmmmmm. After my fun in what they call funworld I then notice the 2 people on the buffet getting absolutely tore apart with even more people coming in with now amounts to 2 cashiers and probably 30 people in line. When it comes to pizza, ill stick with a pizza place god knows their are plenty. For family fun ill stick with Scandia, golfland and six flags.

All you can eat buffet but you have to buy the drink separately? , it has 4 themed rooms where you can eat , has roller coasters inside it's pretty fun for all ages and even has a area for toddlers which was super great for my 1 year old I'd go there again with no regrets!

I came here for my niece's bday party, with reserved room, and was quite surprised, in a good way, about the place. The host was funny and tried really hard to entertain the kids. At first, it took her awhile to warm up to us, but after 5 minutes, she was on a roll. Good thing because in my head I was thinking it would be one awkward party for us and a stranger. By the end of the party I think she was tired from making balloon animals for 20+ ppl asking "can you make me a...?" "do you know how to make a...?" I actually prefer this place over Chuck-E-Cheese. The games/rides were funner imo and the place just seemed more lively. The buffet was average, but you can't really expect much for AYCE AND FREE FUN (playground). Too bad I'm not 10 anymore or else I think I would've enjoyed it a lot more.

This place is a waste of money and time. You have to wait for food for 15 min. It's like they make one pizza at a time. The games there oh man let me just say half the games there are out of order and it takes your points because the people that work there don't put up a sign that says "out of order". A worker by the name of TATIYANA has the worst customer service. All the adults there were complaining about how rude she is and I can see why. she will not look at you when she's talking to you. Speaks in a rude tone. She has such a bad attitude. What kind of manager hires someone like this and still works here? Never coming back to this trash place!

Compared to chuckie cheese, I would say this place is better. More games and roller coaster rides. Moreover, they have different rooms to accommodate both adults and kids. Like the buffet idea but the quality is like school cafeteria

So here is what I've learned about John's Incredible Pizza If your going for the buffet only, wait until Dinner time. We showed up there about 3 in the afternoon. Pizza selection was terrible and the pizza was old and cold. And there were only about 3 pizza's out with two pieces left on each of them. We decided to go play games first since the pizza selection was bad. This is where I give the best stars. I got the 25 dollar card because the menu says you get two rides. Then find out after I bought the card that the game credits can also be used towards the rides. If I had known that before, I would have bought a cheaper card. Anyways my kids and hubby had a blast on the games. The kids went on 5 rides and we still had plenty for the games. We were able to play games for about 2 hours on the Card. This was the best part about Johns incredible Pizza. After playing the games, around 5pm we went back into the dining room and the pizza selection was much much better. They had two pizza's of of about 6 different kinds of pizza, and they were hot. Great price for the rides and games, but if you want better tasting pizza, wait until dinner time.

This place is pretty fun. As a 24year old student, I was even able to find fun out of the games and food selection. As a pizza lover I wasn't disappointed. The pizza tasted pretty good and they had a wife variety. The highlight of the night was when I first got there. I was waiting in a decently long line when I saw a little girl in the middle of the lobby crying her eyes out. The cashier, Samantha, dropped everything she was doing, asked her current customers to wait patiently, and went over to the little girl and gave her a big hug. She then helped the child find her parent as someone else came out to ring us up. After watching that, I didn't care how much longer I had to wait in line. It was great customer service.

I LOVED IT!!!!!! I would definitely go back....my son had fun with the games they had priceses are just perfect for the amount of pizza we ate lol

Good Family Fun!! Everyone must pay for the Buffet, to enter the place!! Indoor rides. Bowling. Arcade games. Prizes. I like that they have game cards where it tracks credits and winning tickets. (Saves the mess of loose tickets to carry around) You just swipe the card and it deducts the credits. Genius!! We came around lunch time on a weekday. So it was not crowded. Which was great!!Prices are reasonable!!

I don't really enjoy places like this. It's noisy, its crowded, you can't tell what time of day it is once your inside. As far as kid's entertainment venues its a very popular place. However, not all the games work which is very annoying. You can easily lose a child in here which is very alarming to me. I'd give it a better rating if the food was better. Even if I just get a salad, I'm disappointed with the quality of food. This place isn't cheap. By the time you eat, buy tickets, and maybe play bumper cars or bowling you're out of pocket expense is pretty high. I much rather take my kids to the beach or go spend the day at a beautiful park. Once in awhile its okay to come, but its not really a satisfying experience with my kids.

What's incredible about this place is the amount of "out-of-order" games. On Thursday, 8/13, the following were not working: Horse play, Incredible express (yes, the roller coaster, big disappointment), Mad wave motion theatre (the virtual roller coaster - another favorite), Elvis live, Dunk n alien, Hollywood reels. The Spider man pinball had a broken flipper, Terminator salvation was missing a gun and one of the bumper cars was super slow - the latter three you only realize one you use them, so God knows how many other of the games we didn't play were also defect. The employees were very nice though and I got a refund for everything that didn't work properly, but I feel for the many kids who were there without a parent to go complain for them (like the kids who were there with a day camp). My kids still had a good time but for $60 for the three of us, it didn't feel like a good deal at all. Seeing the lack of attention for their game area I decided to stay clear of their grungy looking salad bar.

Filthy! This place has gone down hill big time. We go here on special occasions every couple of months. This will be our last. The buffet was empty. No pasta, no Mac and cheese no ranch, blu cheese and dessert buffet was empty. Workers just seemed to be standing around not really working or cleaning stuff. There was food on the floor. The ice cream area was covered in ice cream everywhere. Nasty!!! The game area wasn't overly crowed for a sun and yet we waited in line for 30 min to get our prizes. They had one employee working it! I have a 10 month old so we were in the infant area. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. My baby kept picking up things of the floor and trying to put them in her mouth. To me this should be one of the cleanest areas. Gross!!! Won't be back.

Food was not good there was a lot of it on the buffet hit the same stuff I ft like I could choose from pizza dough with little to no toppings or pasta noodles. With choice of some watered down sauce Salad bar was out of ranch was told had to come back in 15 min for ranch. As for the topping selection I would have hoped with this being the business concept that they have that they had someone there just so fill the topping. No onion tomato cheese or ranch dressing. Games were great except about 1/5 were out of order Rides 1/4 were broken Coffee machines were broken We got kicked out of our seats because they were too busy to allow us to stay in the room and wanted us to move to a party room. Would have been fine just when we first asked for a room they said no and now that they want us to move so they can let more people in.

Johns Incredible Pizza is basically Chuck E Cheese on steroids. There are bumper cars, a roller coaster, a twirly cup ride and tons of games for kids and adults. There is even a mini bowling alley! The best part of JIP is there smart approach you can track all of your game tokens and prize tokens on one card! No more plastic bags full of prze tickets to worry about. The prizes themselves are better as well. You can save up for things like xbox 360's, remote control cars etc ie prizes your kids will actually use for more than 20 minutes. So now we get to the food, JIP is revolutionary here as well. JIP is a AYCE pizza, salad bar, soup, pasta and deserts including very tasty home made donuts. For the adults there is a AYC drink beer option as well. Food quality is average but pretty enjoyable for a place designed for kids. There are even some special kid pizza's like Mac n Cheese pizza. Seating is spacious with 4 themed dining rooms including a sports room with televisions broadcasting the latest games for Dad :). You can also rent party rooms which come with your own party attendant who rums games for the kids and even create balloon animals. Overall we love this place and even though our kids are getting older it is still fun to stop in and Play Deal or NO Deal for prize tickets LOL. If JIP would just add some chicken wings to the menu this place would be a 5 star kids paradise.

We took our 2 year old son here for the first time this Sunday and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My husband and I have been here in the past so we knew better than to come on Saturday and knew around 11am was the slow time so we wouldn't be overwhelmed with crowds of people. The food was decent and if you want a certain kind of pizza just ask and they'll have it up for you in eight minutes. Our favorite part was the toddler play area, our son loved running around, climbing and crawling through the play equipment and going down (and up) the slide. It was nice to take him somewhere that he could play indoors on a rainy day

This place is INCREDIBLY awful, from every aspect pulling in to the parking lot to driving away. 1) the parking lot was jam-packed and from the moment I pulled in it was a hassle finding a spot. 1:50 on a Sunday. Cigarette butts ALL over the parking lot like they were fallen leaves. Which leads me to 2) the clientele this place attracts is obese chain smoking parentals. I passed several of them smoking with kids in tow, waddling to and from the front door. So gross. 3) the line was out the door and seeing how I have never been to this place before, I assumed this line with people holding gifts and with clear birthday boys & girls in the line, this was the line I was to get in. No obvious or other apparent markers told me otherwise. 4) once in said line, me and my child were literally caged in, sandwiched between awful cigarette smelling pushy bellies with 20 of their offspring. There was NO WAY OUT. We were forced to wind around this iron caged fencing that was holding us in. Had their been an emergency where there needed to be a quick evacuated, everyone in that line would be dead. 5) once I got to the cashier, I was told I was in the wrong line and should have gone to Party Central. I told her I didn't care, I'd just go ahead and buy my party package entry for two at her register. I already waited 15 minutes. Well, that's not an option. Which is a huge, ridiculous hassle on their part and I know she's lying about it anyway. Of course that computer screen will let you take my money. 6) we walk over to party central, give her our info (which idk why it's even needed, they have no bracelets or security checkpoint.... So why do you need my kids name??) I pay $25 for two party packages, which includes the all you can eat buffet (what other options does there even need to be?) And get directed to the reserved party room. 7) we fight our way to this room, which is 1 room of about 20 (way to feel like it's your special day) where there is a line up of pizzas already waiting with pitchers of Soda..... Why did I just pay for a Buffett?? So I ask the attendant where our credit/token card is for my 6 year old. Apparently for $25, that's not part of the party package. At this point I'm livid because I don't know what the hell I just bought and if I am standing there with a 6 year old, why wouldn't the goddamm cashier SAY something to the effect of "would you like to also purchase credits for your kid to play?" 8) considering this party was pre-booked and on file, I'm sure she probably also could have seen the note about food already being included and now there is no need for me to buy a Buffett option for two. But this place clearly does not pride itself in customer service. I'm certain the employee turn over rate is daily. 9) I walk around with my child to see game options (I bitched at the manager who just gave me a card for my kid, but really, what was my $25 for? I still don't know) and after swiping the card 20 different ways and at 3 different games, we found one that worked. Skeeball (3 of the 4 were out of order). 10) my daughter played a quick game of Skeeball, during which a line formed behind us and when we went to finish another older kid started pressing the buttons and effectively shut it down. It said we got 60 tickets but is never saw anything. One person told me it goes back on the card, but I'll never have anyway if knowing because we gave it away as we left. 11) there is NO security in the slightest. A little intimidating. At several points I had no idea where my kid was at. Granted, it might be hard to grAb a kid and run out the door without someone noticing, but it wouldn't be hard for a pedophile to sit there and masturbate in a booth or hangout in a toilet stall waiting to expose himself to a kid who walks in. At the same, there were so, SO many preschoolers and younger walking around looking lost, I bet a pedophile easily COULD take a hand and walk them away. This place is ideal for 12 year olds with alcoholic dads. 12) with a place like this it's inevitable to be cut off, run over and knocked down by ill-behaved pre teens, which is exactly what happened when I attempted a go at the Buffett. It's a war zone. 13) so, for $25 I had to bitch for a playing card, got a salad and then both of us ate the pizza that already came WITH the party. So, I paid $25 for a salad and a bunch of arcade games with no prizes. Worst $25 ever spent. 14) on the way out, AMR showed up to retrieve a patient for a trip to the hospital. I couldn't help but think that it's probably a daily occurrence... Obese chain smokers at a Buffett having CHF where kids run wild and probably suffer seizures from the overstimulation. Well done John! Truly INCREDIBLE.

We have come here for the past 3 years, each time it has gotten worse and worse. The crowd has changed, and not for the better. It used to be a nice, friendly place to hang out or have a birthday party. Now it's nothing but rude children, sloppy dressed adults, and messy conditions. Our trip today started with a long line where a very large over weight man was ahead of us, he looked as if he had just had surgery of some type ( large gashes on his arms which were half covered with gauze). Other people in line looked discussing. We found a table and cleaned it ourself. While getting food the workers were struggling to keep food coming and seemed more irritated than anything. (We were there around 2pm). Kids would grab pizza without using the spatula and push you out of the way.....with no manners. My 3 year old just stood and watched. My trip to the bathroom was another story, toilet paper all over the floor, blood from tampons on the garbage cans and grown boys in the women's room. While playing games adults would be playing the ticket games and not taking notice to lines that would form behind them....the adults playing were ever seen with children. My son was playing a sponge bob game and he won 4 tickets, some boy ran up and snatched my sons tickets. I had no idea where this child's parents were. Kids run around unsupervised and push others and are just rude. There was food on the floors. Ice-cream pouring over the machine. Dirty drink cups everywhere. Sad to say, they have lost our business.

I've been to this twice and it has always been a good time for my two year old. The buffet is nice and also the playground center if you want yr little kids to unwind. The only downside is I wish there was a sign at the playground center for kids to take off there shoes, my daughter has been too many indoor playgrounds and understands her shoes needs to be off. Other kids with their shoes on can step on another kids hand and get hurt, overall customer service is great and will most likely come back here. Ohh and the breadsticks are the bomb dot com

This place is what reminded me of why I hated buffets, the food is great, but the employees have no control of the people. First time here and possibly my last, people are rude, people are cutting, employees let their friends get in free. There was a guy getting a heart attack! Did anyone bother to get out of the way and clear? NO! There was people even shoulder bumping the paramedics! No one moved until and employee got mas and yelled to clear the way! What has this world come too.... Smh

Came here on a Monday with three teenage boys, 2 five year olds, a 1 year old and 7 adults; we had a blast! Everyone had so much to eat and the kids were just running around. We got a great deal online for the buffet it was $11.99 per person and 10 dollars more for unlimited rides and $10 in tokens. All in all we spent 170 plus tax. The food was decent and so was the staff. I hate buffets because of germs and they had hand sanitizer everywhere. The rides were pretty fun too!

Took my niece here on a Tuesday night. Thank goodness my sister brought the groupon for this deal. She only had to pay $5. Anyways we ate first food was okay I didn't care for it too much. Only thing I would say is that they leave the food out for so long it gets stale and burn so make sure if you want fresh food ask them. The drinks are my favorite ! They also have cappuccino by the Disney room so go try it !

My kids talked me into coming to this place three weeks in a row. I am at the point now where I am over it. I hate the fact that you have to buy their hideous overpriced buffet to get into this joint. I never thought I would find a pizza buffet worse than Ci Ci's pizza. At least you only have to pay 4.99 at Ci Ci's. At John's, the buffet for adults is a little under 10.00 not including a soft drink. Seriously, their pizza is nasty. Your best bet is to grab a slice or two of pizza that just came out of the oven. Otherwise -forget it. Their pasta / potato station is not any better, and don't get me started on the crappy dessert selection. Aside from the garbage food, the place is pretty cool. My four year old son really loves to play the Disney Cars racing game. You can race as your favorite characters and battle for the piston cup. Although each game costs between 2-3 credits, the amount of tickets you win is very generous compared to Chuck E Cheese. My son actually had enough tickets to get a prize that he actually liked. Unlike Chuck E Cheese, this place offers actual rides for kids, However, each ride is 8 credits, so your money can go fast. Bottom line, this place offers 5 star entertainment and 1 star food. I would bump up this rating if they allowed you to play games without purchasing a mandatory buffet. For a family of 5, we spent about 71.00 on our last outing. About 45.00 of that was for food worse than your kids school cafeteria. Hey -but if you sign up for their VIP card, you will receive a ton of useless emails and a free buffet on your birthday.

Don't go here.... the only good thing about this place is that the kids love it, they love the arcade and the free slushies. but avoid this place if you can. the workers hate their job, the booking process is ridiculously over complicated they won't let you reserve any seating unless you book a private room which is super expensive and they kick you out of them after like an hr and a half I would rather just go to chuck e cheese and be served pizza to my table.

This place is AWESOME!!! After being here I can't imagine going to Chuck E Cheese. This place has great pizza, themed rooms, and their arcade is more like Dave and Busters than Chuck E Cheese. And the prices are really reasonable! If you ever have the chance to go here, give it a try!

I came here with my boyfriend's family to celebrate a 7 year old's birthday. Overall, the experience was fun. I never heard of this place, so when I came here I was surprised to see it was like a Chuck E Cheese, but better. Honestly, it reminded me of Pizza Planet from Toy Story because of the logo. Anywho, the food is buffet style. The buffet area is very large and open, and it was pretty clean despite the fact that little kids kept leaving the Icee and ice cream machines on! I didn't try the pastas, but I did enjoy the salad bar. The pizzas were actually really disappointing. I expected the pizza to be incredible, and it was not. I also expected there to be more than 3 pizzas out on a Saturday evening at 7pm. What kind of pizza place doesn't have pizza?! The donuts were fresh, and they were really good. Since this was for a party, the party rooms were big and clean. The attendant we had was pretty nice. As for the games, I didn't expect to have that much fun! There's 3 different rides, bumper cars, and bowling. This alone was impressive, but of course there were plenty of other arcade games where you could win tickets and later redeem them for prizes. I went on the Twister, and the rollercoaster, and they were both pretty scary/thrilling. I'm 23, so I can't imagine how a child would feel. Overall, it's a good place for kids to have fun and eat pizza and ice cream. If you actually want some good pizza, this might not be the place for you.

I'm cross between giving this place 2 or 3 stars. Because I mean......The food is ALWAYS the most important part for me but their arcade was pretty cool. With that being said, since my friend paid for me I don't quite remember how much it costs for the buffet. But the food. How is it? It's hands down a terrible place for a foodie like me to eat here. But I had to go here for a frat thing. Why here? Only Allah knows. The food was terrible. Obviously. Buffet food isn't quite the best type of food. Mass produced food lacks quality. I mean, who the fuck serves spicy peanut butter pizza? They do. And it's disgusting. Also, their "vanilla" Ice cream is mothafuckin frozen Cool Whip. That's ratchet as fuck. Out of all their pizzas, I only liked one. I gotta say it was a waste of money going here cause I barely ate. Their pasta was bland and hard. Sauce was terrible. Cheddar veggie soup was like vomit in a cup. The thing I enjoyed most was the ICEE machine. I love ICEEs. Bread sticks weren't so bad. Ok. Their arcade is pretty big. I mean. Roller coaster rides for kids. Spinning ride that makes me wanna vomit after eating so much food. And buncha youths games. Mostly games for tickets. There are other games but none of them were cool enough for me. I did have fun with DDR, being Asian and all. I mean, it's a given. Also I spent a lot of time in the photobooth cause I my female friends all wanted to take pictures. One of the coolest games was the laser spy game. Gotta cross the laser field without touching them. I don't mean to brag but I played on level Hard and broke ZERO lasers. Cause this Asian is one bad ass. And.......Because I basically just crawled under the lasers the entire town. Not the coolest moves, but very strategic. They got bumper carts too. It's not a bad place to take your children. Except, I warned you about the food. Go here if you want to show your kids you can be a cool parents. Oh and please, teach your kids some fucking manners. I don't know how many times I had kids cut me right before my eyes on a game. I'd slap the shit out of them, but I'm not the violent type.

I brought my grandson to his friend's birthday party. The birthday parents were not aware that parents can't stay without purchasing the buffet, and felt awful having to explain that to parents. I got the impression there were other unpleasant surprises for the parents. I was fully aware of the flaw in this venue for parties, but was very disappointed that after paying the $12. most of the items in the salad bar were empty and had to ask to have them refilled, then most of the pizza was gone and didn't seem to be refilled ever. If you want to have a party for a 5 or 6 year old I highly recommend Chuck E. Cheese instead. You WILL get the pizza you paid for and you're children's parents have to pay just to stay at the party. The food here is only slightly higher quality than Chuck E Cheese.

The arcade has a great variety of games I am always amazed when I come with the quality of the salad bar and variety of pizza. So much better family fun time than that other place! We used a host and party room for the first time. She truly took care of everything and it allowed us adults to enjoy the party and each other. I highly recommend it!

I decided to make the 50 minute drive to see what all the hype was about. And After checking out the website....My family and I were excited to finally go. It was a Sunday so I was happy to see that they stayed open until 930. We got there at 6 waited in a short line and was helped by a friendly cashier she informed us that we had to purchase the buffet in order to enter which was what we planned on doing we brought our appetites. Once in we found seats and I went to grab my kids food. And instantly was disappointed with the selection of pasta and pizza. Sauces were lukewarm and oily pizzas were under sauced and had very little topping. It looked like they were about to stop serving food so I asked and a young lady behind the counter replied In a questionable voice no cause we close at 930... I thought wow!.... I still grabbed a chosen few and brought them back to the table. I grabbed myself a salad at least the salad bar looked great. My husband had a little of everything. The food was under seasoned and pretty bland. After we couldn't eat anymore we made our way to the game floor to again be disappointed a lot of the game's were out of order and some of them needed to be shut off because they took points off our players cards to play and then would be missing something for us to play or wouldn't work at all. When this happened the first 2 times I looked for someone to help us. That was a joke couldn't really find any worker's and when I finally did she said she didn't know how to fix the game we were on and would be back with someone and NEVER came back. Little to say I won't be coming back anytime soon. After we left we ended up going to a drive through.

Being the Pizza Guy I can't believe it took me so long to check out this place. Overall this place is well above any Round Table I know of in terms of quantity for the buffet. The price is also right at only $7.50 for lunch. I was also pleasantly surprised by some of the arcade games they had (the new Batman and Transformers in particular.) I probably won't come back often because it is quite a travel for me when I have several other pizza buffets to choose from which are closer. Also, you have to really love kids to want to come here it's almost like a mini amusement park.

This is the worst place EVER!!!! I should have known better than to try some place new without consulting Yelp first. Common things that I've been reading is the lack of food and teenage workers who have no idea what they are doing. I went because I had a Groupon. Thank goodness that I didn't pay full price for such a crappy experience. The salad bar was empty, pretty much all of it. I managed to scrape up some bits of lettuce and a few other things and finally went to sit down, that's when I realized that I forgot to grab a fork. Well, I got up and looked everywhere and realized that there were no forks to be found. I talked to 3 other workers and they had no idea where the forks were. I wasn't the only one looking for a fork either. There was about 4 other people next to me waiting for one too. One of the workers suggested we look over by the desserts, which of course we did, other wise why were we standing there asking for one, then he brings us some spoons as if a fork and spoon are one and the same and can be interchanged. Finally, after waiting 20 minutes, and I'm not exaggerating, the forks come out. So then I go sit down and start eating. Then, I get thirsty and get up to get a drink and guess what? No cups! What the hell?!!! I flag someone down and then the circle starts all over again. I then go back to the salad bar to see if it has been restocked, it hasn't, so I tell the boy standing there that he's out of lettuce. He seemed surprised and goes to restock it. I give up on salad and head over to the pasta and potato bar. No pasta, everything's empty. I grab a baked potato and there's no butter, so I tell the girl that there is no butter so she immediately refills it. Really? I don't work there, I'm not your boss little girl, I shouldn't have to be telling you what needs to be done. After that, I head over to the pizza bar, empty, then the dessert bar, empty. At this point I just want to go home, but my little niece wants to play games and I already bought some and there's no refunds on games so she played $20 worth of games and got back .05¢ worth of prizes. There was 5 tickets leftover on her card after she picked out her little junkie toys and I asked the attendant to just donate it to the next kid, she asked if I didn't want to keep the card for next time and I flatly told her that we will never come back.

Love this place for birthdays...staff are eager and enthusiastic....they serve pizza to us however we can roam around the buffet...yummy pizza and pasta...a kids casino...downside a lot of the games need to be repaired...decent prices and so much fun fun fun...rides are great for little ones and adults as well...fun for all...they need to make one like this in the eastbay!!! This place is incredible!!!

Love this place and would choose it over others like it any day! Food is a buffet and they have a great pizza, pasta, salad and dessert selection. The decor is so fun, multiple seating rooms all with a different theme! Price is definitely good, especially since you can basically eat for hours. Games and rides are decently priced and fun! To top it off they have a slurpee machine!!! The staff is great too, very friendly and helpful.

So for something different I decided to try this place out. Not impressed. For it being noon you would think they would of been more prepared but alas that is asking to much. A pizza buffet with only 8 different pizzas up. Um about 400 customers, yeah that will work. So after dodging around people like I was in a war I got 2 pieces of pizza then decided to try their pasta. Got my noodles and topped them off with beef stroganoff. Well what was labeled beef stroganoff at keast. Tasted bad. Not sure if that was beef in there or burned stuff in lumps. Wow not even sloppy Joes in grade school was this bad. Their baked potato soup I give credit on recycling their baked potatoes from the night before but to bad they were burned and probably past their throw out time. For food not worth it. Little cesar's anytime.

I went to a birthday party last night at John's. ( 3/15/2014) The room ( Fusion Room ) was pleasant and accommodating. The soda fountain selection was amazing it not only had regular Coke but also the Diet variety. The ice was cold and refreshing. I ate the pizza last night at around 8:30 pm. I, as of 10:12 am the next morning, have pooped 5 times and my butt is now raw. I do not like this pizza place and although I knew better than to eat there last night will never, ever, EVER eat there again. Thanks hope this is helpful #bettergetthe4ply #seriouslyhurtstowalk

Big parking lot. Would be better if it wrapped around at least two sides of the building but one entrance side only. Entry fee is the buffet fee. Pizza and food is decent and there is many types of thinly cut pizzas for you to choose from. So you got a variety. There is games and arcades and also like 3 kids rides and bumper cars like a fair. Kids enjoyed the place. Win tickets to redeem prizes. Prizes suck though. Can at least add some candy prizes better then the junk prizes even the kids barely wanted. Expensive points too to get decent items. And oh every seating and eating area has big screen TVs playing sports. :)

Don't waste your time unless you want to eat. You can't play any games or anything without paying for their disgusting buffet. What a waste of time.

Utter disappointment. I went on Saturday and was there 5 minutes after opening. The greeters kept asking me questions a "regular" would know and I kept saying this is my first time here, walk me through the drill. After the 3rd utterance of this phrase I roll my eyes thinking 'can I go eat now or is there more to the stupid quiz already'? So there's a ticket checker just like Home Town Buffet, which is an utter waste of time, just something else to delay me getting to eat. So I go to the salad bar. First two plates are soiled and wet, third plate is clean. I get some salad. The toppings are standard. The only incredible thing is I am now 12 minutes in at this restaurant and there's salad dressing smeared on the counter and someone's dropped salad toppings in the cottage cheese. Nothing incredible here. I go to the pizza section and all the typical topping ones are there like Hawaiian, Pepperoni, Cheese, Pepperoni/mushroom, Pepperoni/Olive, and some nasty chicken with BBQ sauce one. My son likes the Nacho one but when you put the word INCREDIBLE in your name, you gotta live up to it and this is no better than Little Cesaer's, and trust me, that bar is easy to hurdle. If you want a pizza with less generic toppings you have to ask for it and then wait 8 minutes for it to cook. I was bold, I was going to try the garlic pesto, the Margherita, and the Peanut Butter. The garlic pesto was okay, the margherita was so skimpy on toppings they should have moved it to the cheese pizza section, and silly me waited 9 minutes instead of 8 minutes and some Jabba the Hut customer took the WHOLE peanut butter pizza. This is obviously not a classy establishment. I go to the pasta station and everything is bone dry, like it has been under a heat lamp too long. The place has been open a whopping 27 minutes and the noodles are hard because there is zilch sauce and the moisture has been sucked out of them. I put some marinara on the only noodles with moisture. I ask where is the Parmesan. The lady says we don't have that. I said I beg your pardon? She repeated we don't have that. This is a pasta and pizza joint and they don't have parmesan....still not incredible. A manager at my work told me how great it was and to try the mac n cheese, and definitely the peanut butter pizza. Two people, $25, and a disappointing start to a Saturday. I did find one INCREDIBLE thing about this visit, I was INCREDIBLY stupid for listening to a manager at my work.

Went there today for my sons 2nd birthday with family and two kids from our group got cussed out by a 40 year old child. Then his group of friends ganged up and threatened to punch someone, not sure if he wanted to punch the 15 year old or his father. The managers catered to the angry adults and refunded them. While half our group left earlier then they wanted bc they were afraid the group would be waiting for them in the parking lot. They were not offered a refund. When I asked another manager he told me he just arrived and would go ask, but he never came back. This was all bc the 11 and 15 yr old were playing the basketball game and one of the shots hit the rim and bounced off, hitting the guy in the face. It was an accident. If the guy had a problem with that game then he should have taken it to management instead of cussing at an 11 year old and scaring him. So much for a family friendly place.

Came here on a cold windy rainy day to let the boyfriends daughter run wild and get rid of some energy. The food is surprisingly pretty tasty! I especially like how there are separate dining rooms where the adults can eat &hang out while the kids make a bunch of noise else ware. Way better than Chuck E. Cheese where you're stuck in the middle of all the crazy loudness. I'd come back for sure.

Don't come on Saturday night after 6pm! Busy beyond belief, lines of people waiting for pizza, and not kid friendly language from the staff trying to keep up with the rush. I have been to Johns many times with the kids. I expected better even when they are busy.

    (3)
  • Donna F.

Their prices is good, their selection is great, the food is fresh & it's crazy busy! 100 credits on a Fun Card lasts quite some time. I still need to figure out when it's NOT busy so I'm not dodging people while holding my tray.

Come here on an empty stomach and you won't be sorry. I came here around 5PM and had to pay $9.49 for dinner. This is a place where you can't just come in to play the games. They require you to pay for the buffet when you enter. You can find pizza, pasta, salad, soup, and dessert here. The pizza here doesn't taste too bad, I would probably say it's better than Chuck E Cheese pizza. There are several different types of pizza available. One kind that stood out was a Spicy Peanut Butter Pizza. It didn't sound tasty or look appealing when I saw some peanut shells on top of the pizza haha. Just in case you don't like the types of pizza they have here, you'll be glad to know that you can request one with all the toppings your heart desires. I requested one with 8 toppings and it took only 7 minutes to make. I was pretty stuffed and couldn't try many desserts that were available. The only dessert that I tried was the fresh made mini donuts. Those things were so yummy. If I wasn't so full, I would have had them squeeze some strawberry syrup on top of the donuts so it could taste like a funnel cake. It's pretty cool how this place has a small roller coaster, bowling alley, bumper cars, and a Twister ride. Their arcade is a decent size for kids and I noticed that they have some games that you can find at D&B's. FYI, some of the machines don't give out tickets and automatically load the amount you win on your card. Also, keep an eye on your child at all times because they don't have a check in/check out program like Chuck E Cheese does. I saw many parents letting their little ones roam around without any supervision.

the pizzas pastas and salads are great..ill give you that...but when it comes to the games..most of them dont work or eat your "coins" up...you always have to call an attendant to give you the money back...for the price we pay I'd expect much more when it comes to the games...it is a children's place anyways so they should be able to play any game without an "out of order sign" in every other one...please fix that and you'll get a 5 stars from me..

We read the mixed reviews, but it was a chilly day during Spring Break so we gave it a try with a 6 and an 8 year old. It was not positive enough to consider again. First, we had to pay for food we did not plan to eat - we took the kids after lunch. Later, when we wanted drinks we had to pay separately for them! Many of the games didn't seem to be working. The kids would slide their card and nothing would happen - no indication that it was on or not or possibly out of order. There were no monitors or helpers on hand in the game area to help kids or to answer questions so there was a lot of disappointment and frustration from kids who are pretty game savvy. The rides were a better experience. Can't comment on the food since we paid for it but did not eat, however, many tables were not bussed and it was messy. It wasn't a good enough experience for the price, which was about $75, compared to numerous other activities we found for the vacation week.

Well for being our first time i am somewhat disappointed. The food was good, the selection is great but when it came to the games every other was out of order! I mean 1 out of 4 games of the same type worked! Oh Saturday night so it's busy and out of order games should be a no! Hopefully management does something about it

We are at JIPC at least once a month. This place is a mix of Chuck E Cheese and Dave and Busters. The buffet is very affordable and my kids adore this place. I like the fact that they have a salad bar, pasta/pizza, unlimited soda fountain, and a coffee and chocolate machine. They do serve alcohol for a separate charge but I don't really see a lot of people using this service which I'm kind of glad. My kids are too small for most of the rides and games, but they do like the mini roller coaster, mini carousel, rocket ride and the frog. They have a mini bowling alley and a separate enclosed playground for the little ones like the playground in the mall but a tad smaller. I usually feed the kids before they play and they also have a snack before we leave. We really get our money's worth on this place. It's fun, safe and affordable. 4 stars because sometimes it takes a while to have the food refilled, the pasta either under cooked or over cooked, and there were times where we can't find a place to sit because people reserve the tables but the whole time we were there the tables were not occupied. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Horrible customer service. Attended with a school group in one of the party rooms. I left my pizza on the table to take a group of kids to get their dessert. Came back to see my pizza, which I hadn't touched, had been thrown away. I know I could go back to get more but what a waste. Most of the games were not working.

I love this place! Their pizza is great and thrushes a ton of sides. For ten bucks you won't find a better buffet. I love the different themed rooms just an all around great experience for a great price

I will take this place over Chuck E. Cheese anyday of the week. Lots of rides and games, un-used game tokens dont expire. Food is good, with a variety of options and great salad bar. Nice and clean but I wish the entrance and exit was more protected, anyone could essentially take a child if they wanted to.

This use to be a great place to take your family when it first opened. The past 2 times that i have been to this location it has not been good, the place has been dirty, food all over the place, not enough food out, rude staff and a manager that does not seem to care. My family and i will not be coming back.

Came here today for the first time, and was really suprised because I was expecting John's to be more like a Chuck E Cheese. I walked in and it was a line which looked like a buffet line..lol since actually it was. In order to enter you must buy their buffet geez what if I didn't want to eat and just wanted to let my kids play in your establishment? Anywho my kids and I had a blast there are arcade games bumper cars, and a ride called the twister, they have bowling etc... We will be coming back again soon, this place made me feel like a kid again. I highly recommend John"s to families who are looking for good clean family fun.

I have grown completely and utterly bored with it this place. It's overly priced considering the quality of the food has diminished over the years. They charge a family of four nearly $60 just to walk through the door and do not include the fun pass in the purchase price so you have to pay an addition $30 if you want to hit up the arcade. So a hundred dollar day gets you lackluster entertainment, cardboard pizza, dry and tasteless salad with not so fun games... I'll pass! K.J.

Better than Chuckie Cheese.... hand down. Good food. Only downside... if you have someone with your party who is not going to eat... they have to pay for a buffet anyways....

I was surprised. This place should never be compared to Chuck E Please (give me a horrible disease). Never. It's bright and clean and offers many choices of food, dining rooms, and really fun games! And Rides! I'm a little picky about cleanliness and light if there are many children. There are no dark corners in the game area and I didn't reach for my antibacterial wipes one time. The buffet was awesome! Clean, fresh, and well stocked. I loved it! The kids loved it!

An employee named Edgar was very rude & he walked away before I was even finished. I then asked for corporate info and Ericka-employee checking receipts told him that I wanted it and he didn't come back for a while. Wait time 1:15. Rick Murphy-mgr came out an apologized. Gave us a free meal coupon. On 12/31/12 spoke with Michelle at location and she put me on hold for 15 min and had another mgr get on the phone instead of Rick. Said i couldnt use coupon after 7 pm tonight. Rick was rude and said after 3 months it should be ok. Called corporate and spoke with Carrle and told her the info and she said Otis Easter would call me back. So basically Rick gave me a coupon to use that I am actually unable to use. I don't live in sac, I only visit once or twice a year. Corporate never followed up. 2 stars because the kids had fun playing.

Don't go for the pizza/food as it is not a buffet worthy of the price. Pizza was doughy, and the food looks like it is left out until someone finishes the last bit before fresh food is replaced. The games are starting to get a bit worn down, but understandable given the high level of use they receive. Still, many need to be replaced or some serious maintenance needs to be done. The kids love the place however, so if you can take the above mentioned, then you will have a great time.

Las Vegas for kids. So the deal is, you pay to get in which includes a buffet and you can pay extra for all you can drink beverages. Then you can pay extra for a credit card type thingy that gives you "credits" for rides, games or fun photo booth things. Ride-wise, there is a small roller coaster, bumper cars, some contraption that raises you up and down, some other thing that makes you dizzy. I'm not a roller coaster fan, can you tell? There are games for all ages and you can either get your win tickets to print out (like Chuck E Cheese) or they put it on the card. Later, you redeem for prizes. The size of a Target, at John's Incredible Pizza you can choose from three - four different seating areas - all of them are dingy. There are four buffets: salad, pasta, pizza and dessert. The freshly-made donuts alone are the highlight of the dessert section. Addictive and coated in powdery sugar, you lose track of how many you eat and they keep bringing out more! Now don't get grossed out, but I tried the spicy peanut butter pizza on a dare and hey! It wasn't half bad. Kind of like if you spread satay sauce on a pepperoni pizza. Who knows, maybe it will become an option at Papa Murphys... I appreciate the Icee machine as a beverage option. Now if they only added vodka to the mix, it would REALLY be like Vegas. Four a family of three and 45 credits on a plastic card, it came to about $45 on a Friday evening. I'm in no hurry to rush back, but it is a great spot for overseas visitors to experience the shock and awe of American suburbia!

Was quite impressed after my visit. The food is a 2.5 star experience but the fun your kid will have is 5 star. Between the roller coaster, the bumper cars and the twister there are entertainment options galore. The food is ok. The pizza will fill you up and the pasta will make you think twice. The superstar is the fresh made donuts. Hot out of the fryer and dolloped with powdered sugar. They were worth the price alone. I liked that they had racer 5 ipa on tap and a hall of fame room that I was able to venture too and watch the football game.

Kids had a blast. The pizza was a twinge better than Chucky Cheese which is still pretty bad, but the salad bar was pretty good! The best thing was the service, everyone was so friendly, courteous, and helpful! Especially the little mexican lady behind the salad bar, she was a total sweetheart! The games were cool because one of them spit out like 1900 tickets for us, and we got a cool lava lamp to take home. The $25 deal on the credits was probably a little too much for 2 adults and 2 kids. We had to try hard to spend it all when we felt like leaving. Oh yeah, the little donuts they make were awesome. They have a machine that spits them out, and this nice lady would sprinkle powdered sugar on top. They tasted like little round versions of the chinese Yau Ja Gwei or Yau Tiw. Very oily and with just the right crunch! I'm going back for my own birthday!

I am giving two stars because I am factoring in the games and rides but the food doesn't even get one star. You have to buy the buffet to get in to the fun area. I was fine with that as I had hungry kids with me. With that said the food was horrible. Even the stuff that had just been put out was cold and all the pasta was crunchy. They were short staffed I was told when I confronted a manager but it was ridiculous. I waited twenty minutes for them to bring salad fixings out. I understand hot food has to be cooked but how do you run out of the cold stuff? Isn't that in a fridge chopped up and ready to go? I ended up buying two adult buffets, two kids buffets, and their $24.99 funcard deal so all told my night of disappointment on 12/30 cost me $ 54.95+tax. I was so unhappy with this place that I had heard good things about. Even sadder was that we went for our five year's old birthday and that just made it worse.

Great fun for the kids and I thought the birthday package deal was fair and affordable. The VIP room for my nephew's birthday was a little small and the TV size in the room can be upgraded. Food area setup is good, but it was difficult to find an area to put your used plates/cups? The food itself can use a little upgrading but I am not complaing as I was starving by the time I got here. Arcade games are pretty much the same as D&B, Chucky Cheez, etc. They have indoor version of bumper cars and mini bowling. Biggest downfall would be the prize claim section. Lines were way too long and they should setup a prize store similar to D&B where you can actually shop around for the prizes you want instead of standing in a long line. I actually skipped claiming prizes and just held onto my tickets for next time. Food quality + long prize line = -2 stars

This pizza exceeded my expectations. I went to John's for my baby sister's birthday and was initially dreading coming here since the John's Incredible Pizza in Stockton was terrible. This is a good location to have kids' birthday parties because they have private rooms and the food is buffet style. They also have some fun games, although some weren't working properly. My cousins and I all won at the small claw game by the roller coaster. I think between the 11 of us, we won around 20 stuffed animals!

Very bad experience. This place advertises "gluten-free" pizza. However they place the gluten free pizza on the same baking screens and they do not prevent against cross-contamination. Thus, their "gluten-free" pizza is not gluten-free. This was a major issue for me because I have celiac disease. If you are looking for gluten-free pizza, do not trust this place.

We decided to take our 20 month old here for lunch on Friday as the prices are better and there isn't a two hour line, we paid around $7 each for the buffet, which is required for entry OH and they charge for drinks an addition $2 a person, and $15 for 65 tokens. So with tax for 2 adults and a baby at LUNCH time it came out to about $34 (that is some serious dough for a cheapskate like me) The food was alright and the salad bar looked really fresh and well stocked, the pizzas could have used a pinch more love and toppings. BUT the staff was AMAZING! that is what earned this place 4 stars in my book, every single staff member I encountered was extremely friendly and eager to help, i.e. I was struggling to hold my buffet plate and the baby so the salad bar attendant gladly explained to me that their highchairs had wheels so I could push the baby around while I filled my plate. I love her! The games are pretty cool to I love that they cattier to young children as well, they have a room with a plastic playground for them and it's locked so none of the babies can escape without mama bear. My favorite game was whack-a-mole because it relieved me of some aggression and also you get a million tickets, unlike a lot of the other games Overall great place I suggest going at least once, during lunch because the dinner prices are outrageous and you won't have to wait in line for an hour just to enter, just imagine the chaos going on inside that place after an hour wait!

What a great experience! I went on a Wednesday night so there were not too many people. First off, I noticed everyone working there was extremely friendly. You can eat pizza, play games, come back and eat, go play again, it's a lot of fun. You can ask to make them a pizza however you want it, thin crust, thick crust, red or white sauce, anything you want. Or you can choose any of the 10 different pizzas already at the buffet. Also, the place was very clean. They do a great job. I probably would not recommend going on a Friday or Saturday night if you don't like large crowds. Overall, I'll definitely go again!!

This is always one of my go-to places to eat when wrapping up a day of shopping! Buffet? Yes, pliz! Food: The food here is preeetty good, especially at a 6.99 price tag during lunch. Dinner prices jump up to 9.99 (I don't really consider it worth it, unless coming with a big group), in which both prices do not include a drink. However, they do have a golden peak iced tea machine!! Any place with a Golden Peak sweet tea machine gets at least an A, imo. Favorite things to try: chipotle pasta, pesto pasta, baked potato (with LOTS of sour cream, cheese, & chives), bbq chicken ranch pizza, alfredo pizza, and fresh mini donuts! They've also gotten an ICEE machine within the past month. Customer Service: Could be better. There is a system where diners can request a certain type of pizza, or make your own. The people who work back here are sometimes busy, and can brush off your request. I guess my BBQ chicken ranch (available upon request) will have to wait a little longer :( Atmosphere: It's the modern day chuck e. cheese, without germ infestation and sick children. It's a large building, with just enough room for groups of little kids to bump into you while you're carefully delivering your tray to your table :| hey kid, if i spill my soda/food on you, I'm telling your parents it was your fault. You should also sign up for the JIP newsletter, where they send you pretty good deals periodically (game credits, free buffets, etc.) In addition, joining the VIP club for a small fee is very beneficial if you're a frequent diner like myself. Every time you eat there, 5% of your purchase goes on your "rewards card" which can be redeemed for game credits, or buffet. (Just recently I redeemed 5.17 toward a buffet!) You also get to "spin" a computerized "wheel", where you can earn prizes like free buffets, sodas, game credits and memorbilia.

Went for a toddler's bday party today and this place was perfect for that; it's like Chuck E Cheese on crack! There were plenty of games & rides...even my 16 yr old had fun. Food was decent...salad bar was fresh and had a pretty good variety of toppings. Staff was helpful and friendly. Only complaints were that they seemed to be having some type of air conditioning issue in the Cartoon room because we were all baking in there and it would be nice if some of the employees would stop the kid's from running all over the place. Overall it lived up to pretty much what I expected.

Recently took my girls here (2 years old) and they loved it. Although they don't really play many games they were tall enough to ride the roller coaster and loved running around. I was able to watch football and we all were able to eat for an affordable price. There were multiple employees cleaning off tables, sweeping wiping down the buffet, on the floor to fixing machines and everyone was friendly. Excited to go back!!

When it comes to games, food buffet freshness and family dining experience - this is a champion over Chuck & cheese anyday. This place is huge, with several themed dining areas along with separate glass-enclosed party rooms overlooking gaming area. The buffet is great for pasta lovers mostly - emphasis on PASTA. No protein here folks - for all those carb-consious parents out there. No steaks/chicken fillets offered - just plain old American-Italian pizza/pasta selections. They do have a decent salad bar - fresher tasting than Chuck & cheese. You can select their Pasta creations or make your own. The pizza's are good too. They have mini donuts which taste just like funnel cakes. They got a beer bar for the parents, as well. If you become a VIP member, you're treated to some free perk each visit ranging from upgraded meal/drink to a free clothing item. Gaming area has an indoor mini-roller coaster and spinning spider wheel like a carnival. No ferris wheel but they do have a mini-bowling alley for the kids - that seem to be occupied most of the time. They have a small toddler soft zone though.

Simply put, it's a good place for kids and definitely tops off Chuck E. Cheese or any other child "dream come true for a day" place. The food isn't 5 star or even 4 stars... but it's decent and kids love it. They have a nice variety for salads and soups. They have a limited selection of bland pasta but the pizza really isn't all that bad. They cut it into super small slices so you don't go buffett crazy and you can taste more of the varieties. The Garlic Pesto Pizza and Buffalo Chicken were definitely the stars!!! They also have fresh fried donuts for the adults and kids. I also like the apple crisp with a side of vanilla soft serve ice cream yummmm. Their games here a bit on the expensive side but they even have bumper cars, mini roller coaster, and a twister ride. Pretty coooool. P.S. Some of the dining rooms have a weird stench and smell like feet. So try to find one that doesn't smell. The Hall of Fame room was our favorite and the adults could watch sports on the big screen there.

Another great birthday spot! The staff runs the whole show, you eat at the buffet, and then get play cards to go play. Indoor roller coasters, bumper cars, and games galore. What more can you ask for! For the dads that love sports there is a sports themed eating room and every birthday party room has a TV! It is a great investment!

Chuck E who?? This place is A-mazing! The food was really good. Pizza, pasta, salad bar, fruits, veggies, mac n cheese, capachinos, icee's, soda, BEER! Even a desert bar. Staff was friendly, place was clean, food was fresh. There are a ton of different rooms to eat in. The rides were even fun for us "big kids". However I do not recommend eating the nacho and jalapenio pizza right before getting on the twister. A few rides were not working which sucked but there was plenty of other stuff to do. This place beats Chuck E Cheese anyday! Way, way, way less ghetto too. The Mr and I are actually considering getting a sitter for the kids and hitting up this all you can eat buffet alone ;)

John's Incredible Pizza - where an adult can be a kid. I kept reading Yelp reviews and hearing about this place and I was psyched to go. I tried not to get my hopes up too much in fear of having them dashed upon the cruel rocks of reality, but I couldn't seem to reign in my daydreams. I grabbed a carload of friends and road tripped up the hill to John's. I say "road tripped" because anyone who lives in Midtown knows it takes some serious magic to get a grid-dweller to leave the grid, but alas, John beckoned and we went. It's like $9 to get in, which includes the all you can eat buffet. You purchase a little card and load it with credits if you want to play games. The credits are standard-priced, about the same as Scandia or any arcade. With buffet and a few games, one person will probably go through like $25-$30, about the same as eating at somewhere like Lyon's or Old Spaghetti Factory. If you keep the gaming to a minimum, it will obviously be less. We explored the various dining rooms and came upon the most exciting discovery yet - BEER! I had to drive, so I didn't partake, but it's nice that it's there for next time. Call me a true American, my idea of a good time is getting drunk, stuffing myself with food, and playing House of the Dead. Wrap a flag around me and you've got an American burrito. Back to the dining rooms, if there are a ton of screechy kids, you can find sanctuary in the forest-themed dining room. There isn't a TV so kids have no reason to want to be in there. The food was surprisingly good, considering that it's a cheap buffet aimed at kids. Their pasta and soups were just meh, not that great. Their salad bar was pleasingly fresh and well stocked. The pizza slices are super small so you can try a bunch of different kinds and they have a huge selection - even one with macaroni and cheese on it. They have a lot of veggie options and the employees seemed willing to make whatever you asked for - you could probably get them to make a vegan one. The pizzas are small so they're constantly being replaced with fresh ones. Another reason John's won my heart - BAKED POTATO BAR. I'm a sucker for baked potatoes and they have all the fixins ready to go. Yet another vegan option - you could get creative with some of the spaghetti sauces and salad bar toppings and make yourself a damn fine potato dinner. The desserts are just ok. They have soft serve and a couple pastry type things, but the mini-donut machine was rad. I'm always up for fresh mini-donuts. We were there for a couple hours. Pigged out, played some games, and waddled out of there full and smiling. Can't wait to get back and unleash my inner child again.

This is a great place for birthday parties for kids. I went to my friends sons 5th birthday and it was a lot of fun. It had a buffet plus pizza. It also had fun rides and a mini bowling alley for the kids plus a whole section of arcades. They had rides for kids to go on, including a ride adults could go on. It was a pretty cool place, would definitely recommend it for your kids parties and events for kids! :)

I like the buffet for variety, but it's overpriced for bday parties. Great games and rides, but they could make it more reasonable. They make everyone pay for the buffet, and not everyone will want to eat.

Went there on a Sunday evening trying to find an outting that would be fun for my 5 year old, my 16 year old niece, my husband and myself. I have to say I was very glad we went. They did a good job explaining how things work when you walk in to pay (yes, you pay when you enter so you're not pulling out $ throughout the time you are there). It cost about $75 for 3 adults + one 3-5 year old. That included all you can eat food, 1 fountain drink , one beer and a gaming card that had 2 free rides included. The food is all you can eat buffet with a surprisingly good salad bar with smaller amounts frequently re-stocked. They have soup, pasta, a dessert bar and of course pizza. I only ate the salad and seasoned vegetables so i can't comment on the pizza except for that my 5 year old did not complain. The staff was very friendly in every area we went (cashier, dining room, gaming area etc) I liked how they had 5 different themed dining rooms so we could choose which one siuted our mood the best. We ended up choosing the mountain lodge one which was quite quiet, calm and relaxing in comparison to the very loud and busy cartoon one. The gaming room was very nice. I don't remember seeing one game that was out of order. They had full size rides that adults can ride too. (well at least the bumper cars and the spinning ride) I was able to fit on the rollercoaster train one but barely. The bumper cars were the most fun bumper cars I thinks I've ever been on. Small space to drive, but very fun! I don't think I'll ever go back to the "mouse" place (unless under duress), but I'll galdly go back here. For the $ you can't really beat it for an entire evening out with the family.

Went on a weekday. Food was still awful for the price (it should really be cheaper on weekdays, there isn't as many food options and the food was worse than when I tried it before on a weekend), the floor was sticky and gross. Didn't leave the table for more than 5 mins with food on the table and my half drank overpriced beer was cleared. They have a 10-15 mins policy. When I complain they act as if I'm trying to scam them. Please if it wasn't damn near 6 bucks for a 20oz Coors Light, I wouldn't even of said anything about it.

So we just had my daughters birthday there. Hmmmmm where do I start? We were told to get there 20 mins earlier so we could decorate her room. We were there but they were not. They did not staff correctly???? We planned this months ago! Why we're not staffed so we waited and waited in fact we waited so long all of our guests showed up. So no time to set up the room we had to do it with a ton of kids swirling around. So that was fun. Then our party planner if that's what you want to call her shows up. She attempts to play some silly games with the kids but is obviously not excited to be hosting the party and the kids pick up on that. Then people eat some crappy buffet. She opens gifts and that's it. It was so unorganized I wish we didn't have a party planner we could have done it much better ourselves!!! We payed a good amount of money for this party I wished we had gone to chuckie cheese much better service!!! Won't be doing or recommending this place again!!!!

2 adult buffet dinner=$18.98, 2 kids 7-12 buffet=$11.98, 1 adult beverage=$1.79, 2 child beverage=$3.58, 1 Coors Light 16oz=$5.50, 2 Fun Cards=$29.98, 2 Fun Card fees=$.50. Plus tax the total was $75.34. That was for a family of four. The mac & cheese was decent but the pizzas had very little toppings or cheese. The food over all wasn't horrible but it wasn't good either, it was edible. We went on a Saturday night. If you value your sanity don't ever do that, it's a nightmare. It seemed that a quarter of the games were out of order, that was disappointing. The kids had fun, thats what is important. But for the money, you're better off going to Dave & Busters. You'll spend the same amount of money, but, get better food and games that actually work.

Well recently I was just there. My family and I were not impressed with the food at all it was all cold. Usually it is a hit or miss and today it was a miss. For your drinks they have two soda fountain and a ice machines with 4 flavors. They do have 5 rooms where you can sit and enjoy your food with the themes cartoon, sports, music, cabin, and vertical. They all have TV except cabin because its supposed to be a relaxing room. After your done eating you can go in the back and play a bunch of arcade games such as guitar hero, car racing, motorcycle racing, and much more. In the meantime if you go I hope you catch them on a good day.

Two stars only because the pizza was ok and the kids liked the slushies. They kept running out of it or didn't stock certain flavors because only half the spots ever had pizza even though it was a week night. Do not take kids under 6. Took my 5 yr old for his b day and he ended upcrying because you have to be 4 ft tall to ride most of the rides so he couldnt go on any. Happy b day kid...heres a hanky. And the manager didnt care. Im kind of anti my son crying on his birthday...so we wont be going back. $250 lesson learned.

After coming here, I will NEVER go back to ghetto Chuck E Cheese again!!! This place is wonderful for kids, their all you can eat buffet is great (I really like their Pizza!) and there are actually rides not just arcades for the kiddos! Did I mention they have an AWESOME kid's event for New Years, which we had a great time at! My 5 year old stayed up for the first time in his life, it was fun for the WHOLE family!

Negative- Disgusting pizza.. Positives- Delicious dessert bar and my son has a ball playing all the games. Win/Win- We get to pig out and have fun but we spend entirely too much here!

For a $7 buffet it wasn't too bad, but it wasn't too great either. The pizza was ok but they sliced it so thin that you'd need to get 3 slices to equal a regular slice of pizza anywhere else. The salad looked (and tasted) like grocery store lettuce and the toppings were all mixed together because people used the same spoon to scoop everything up. The deserts were either rock hard or too squishy and the Icees were all fluff and no flavor. I expected it to be loud and noisy because there were a lot of kids but the noise from all the games drowned them all out (which is surprising). I went on the large spinning ride in the center and unfortunately I got sick and was nauseous for most of the day. I don't think I'll be coming back any time soon.

Can we say Chuck-E Cheese in steroids! Aside from the regular machine games, they also have a mini bowling alley, bumper cars, a small roller coaster and two other rides. Each credit cost $0.25 and games usually require 3 to 6 credits. I like that the kids can get their own prepaid cards to play. You also have the option to keep track of the tickets on the card versus printing. To avoid kids from losing their cards, it'll be nice if John's Incredible Pizza can provide a wrist band of some sort. The five or so themed dining rooms are great. BUT, their buffet food was blaahhhh!!! Pizza needs more cheese and toppings; couldn't taste the sauce on any of the pasta; bread sticks were bland; soup is reasonable; ice cream is not creamy; mini doughnuts are probably the only thing I like.

This place was amazing. While passing through Roseville in or way to Tahoe, I wanted to get the kids out of the car at for a bit. I had seen the place before but didn't know what it all entailed. Walked t and I was instantly amazed. The different themed rooms were a great touch and orcourse my kids (ages 4 & 2) were excited to sit in the kids room, as it played different kid friendly TV shows and music videos. The buffet was ok but worth the excited my kids had playing the video games ( alot of age appropriate games) and the rides too. We went on a Thursday afternoon and this place wasn't very busy but I can see that it fills up fast, especially on the weekend. Very clean!!! This place is 10times better than chuck e cheese and the staff were very helpful. I will defiantly go back, and recommend this place.

This place is really fun. I went here with 3 of my friends one night to eat some good food and play some arcade games. When you go inside, you pay for your arcade card and are given a certain number of credits to use on the arcade games. The price also includes the food. The food here is sort of served in a buffet style, you go up and choose what you like and take it back to eat in one of their theme rooms. This makes eating a little more fun. The Alfredo pizza was delicious. The pastas they have are also pretty good. After we finished our dinner we all rushed back to the buffet line to grab one of their hot and fresh donuts! There's a variety of arcade games to try and it's impossible to get bored there. They also have a pretty decent prize counter. This is a great place to come to with your friends to have a good, fun night.

I am mixed on this place but if you have a toddler and live anywhere within a 30 mile radius, you WILL be invited here for a party. There is a separate party entrance. The parties are very standard - 1.5 hours which usually entails eating first (buffet and they bring a few fresh pizzas to the table), then some party games in the tiny cramped party room such as limbo or freeze dance (you couldn't pay me enough to work there), followed by going onto the floor for games. The food is marginal at best. Pizza is nothing to write home about. They do have a reasonable salad bar with some fresh vegetables. Nothing great and I will not come here voluntarily unless invited for another birthday party.

I come here whenever I get the chance. Their famous spicy peanut butter pizza? YES. Games? YES. Huge prizes, bowling, rides, and different themed rooms to suit your liking? YES. I love this place if you couldn't tell. I suggest going during the weekdays because the food has always tasted better to me at those days than the busy weekends.

I was very excited to find out that John's started serving Gluten Free pizza. And it was actually pretty good. But it was very disappointing when we had to pay extra. Even though my daughter and I pretty much can't eat anything but the salad. So you're asking us to pay extra even though we can't eat as much as the average person....we can't have the regular pizza, pasta, most of the desserts. So why charge us more?

When I first heard about this place and read a few reviews with people comparing it to Chuck e Cheese my expectations were not very high. Now, after dining there, I cannot wait to go back! The salad bar is loaded with great options, all look fresh. And the pizza was phenomenal. They have such a unique variety of pizzas. In every piece I tried the ingredients tasted fresh and flavorful. Even the crust was delicious. The other thing I appreciated about the pizza was that it was not too greasy. It really did taste and look gourmet. And the desserts! Homemade doughnuts, cookies, cake, cheesecake, and Cinnamon rolls. I sampled each one and still cannot decide which I liked best. They were all delicious. There is plenty of room to eat, actually several different themed rooms (for the kids). The price is decent for the amount of food options you have. You definitely want to go hungry to get your money's worth! The only drawback is (depending on which room you eat in) the distance between the buffet and dining tables can be a bit cumbersome when you are carrying a tray of food and then need to go back for a drink. After dinner we went into the game area to play some arcade games. I was surprised to see such a diverse array of games. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful when we had a problem with the air hockey table they came right over to fix it. Everything seemed to be well maintained.

My cousin and I went here thinking it was going to have an INCREDIBLE buffet of INCREDIBLE PIZZA. Um, no, for the money, we say NO NO NO. I am a pizza fiend, and it was slightly heartbreaking to not find anything worth going back to eat again. When we got to the counter (on a Monday night), it took us a while to figure out the best price options for the both of us (pricing options are kind of overwhelming if you've never been). We're both over 30, so we didn't need the mega games + pizza package. You're automatically charged for the $10 buffet just to get in. We both paid for the buffet and minimal games option. People who have mentioned in the reviews here how poor quality the pizza is are 100% correct. 1. Pizza slices are slivers. It takes 4 or 5 slices to equal 2 normal slices. 2. Everything is made from low quality processed ingredients. (3 notches down from Hometown Buffet quality). You know, you want to find something worth having 2nds of just to qualify your dinner as a meal. I think the salad was the only thing worth eating. Hands down one of the all time worst and disappointing buffets EVER. (How can you mess up PIZZA?!?). The pizza gods must have damned them. 3. Pizza options are limited and HARDLY have any meat on them (chopped up bits thrown on). If you want to put in a special request pizza, you have to wait 15 min after putting in your order with the guy behind the counter. We ordered an all meat pizza and were still unsatisfied with lack of toppings and quality. There is a bar to order beers there (it's like ordering alcohol at a Lyon's or Sizzler). Three or 4 different themed rooms to sit in. Game area is ok. If you have kids, maybe this is a place to go out of intrigue, but for the money and value I think you might score better at some other family fun center. I don't have kids, but if I did, I wouldn't want them to eat a whole meal of low grade food just to entertain them. If you're in Jr. High and haven't developed your palette for decent food and need a place to tear up for a while, you and your friends might like this place, but you may get more out of visiting a Round Table pizza. If you're an adult wanting to kill time with your friends, this is not the place. Not even for the food or pretend bar. Spend the extra time and money elsewhere... like Thunder Valley and the Feast Buffet.

Nice; not thrilling, but nice. However, the kids really enjoyed themselves and that is the reason we went there in the first place. It's like a casino for young-un's! It's overloaded with loud machines, bright lights, various forms of entertainment, themed rooms, and a buffet. The food is ok and is mostly carbohydrates: Pizza, pasta, taters, etc. Their salad bar is pedestrian but seemed fresh. The dessert bar nicely appealed to my sweet tooth. (try the mini-doughnuts, they RAWK!!!) The place was clean and the staff were helpful. My advice is to buy the $100 gift certificates from Costco for $50 before you go, then blow your whole wad in one trip. We went so that the kids could have fun (they did), but I don't see us going there often.

For kids, huh? Sometimes, I think I enjoy myself more than the kids do. This is the carb-lover's paradise. Pizza, pasta, pastries, wow. In unlimited amounts, too. I release you, Inner Glutton, to wreak havoc on the piles of pasta (slurp), the pounds of pizza (chomp), and the mounds of mini-donuts (hot, hot, hot). For all the good people of the world, they do have a decent salad selection. They are lacking in the meat department, though. I wish they would offer at least one main meat selection. But their bread-sticks are so good, and they have soup. I'm OK with it, for now. You have to pay for the buffet to get in; drinks are extra. I guess that's fair. But it bums for people who don't like pizza or pasta (sorry, mayor). He makes do with lots of salad and gets his meat fix later. After we get the gluttony out of the way, we head to the back for some fun. There's a good mix of stuff to do for both young and old alike. They even have a small play area for toddlers. If you have young children and if YOU have sole control of the fun-card, you might be able to spend less than $25.00 on credits. It can get a little expensive, though, when each wants his or her own card. Eeek! Clark Howard, where are you when I need you? Get the VIP card if you plan to be a regular. It can save you some real dough.

A lot of offerrings and can keep the kids occupied for a quite a few hours! We came here for a birthday party. You can rent a room for the birthday party, but my friends chose to show up early and got a set of tables for the group. I think this was better than a room that had limited time. It's buffet food and the pizzas weren't bad. I like how they cut the pizza in smaller slizes so that you can try several kinds of pizza and so that the kids don't waste food in case they can't finish the pizza. They offerred salads, pastas, and desserts (didn't look so good). Drinks were included. I think you can pay extra for beers and wines. Our friend brought in their own cake, so that was cool. You pay for a card that allows you to go on rides, play the various games that they had there. The usual credits can be earned and cashed out for trinkets and toys. I bought a $25 card and it was enough to keep my daughter and I occupied for hours, including several rides. Rides: Frog up/down ride; mini merry go round, this big slide that goes around and you can spin your seats, bumper car, and a mini roller coaster that was out of service. They have a kiddie play area that doesn't cost any credits. They also have a mini bowling alley, which is pretty cool! Various air hockey tables. It's a good place for 1.5 yrs old and up. I recommend going when it's not during crowded hours or days. That could be a headache.

Me and my kids love this place. All you can eat salad bar, pizza, pasta, baked potatoes and desert! Rides, Games, Virtual Bowling and more. What can you ask for more. The food is better then any other children's place. You can request you very own custom pizza. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because their prizes are cheap and you pay a good amount of money for the credits for games. The credits is also kinda pricey too. !!! GREAT FAMILY OUTING PLACE !!!! We will always come back here unless their food quality changes which we are hoping they wont!

"Incredible John's" should change its name to "Inedible John's". Seriously. The food is NOT good. They should be ashamed of themselves for calling the crust with cheese, sauce and toppings on it, they serve, "pizza". Check E. Cheese pizza is bad, but compared to this stuff, it's gourmet. Even the salad bar at Chuck E. Cheese is better than the one here. (At least there you get real bacon bits.) The only thing worth eating here are the fresh donuts, which are awesome by the way, and the soft serve ice cream. So why did I give it 3 stars? Because if you have kids, they will have lots of fun playing games and getting on the rides. And the staff here is very friendly and for the most part they seem to like children and interact very well with them. (It does tend to get very busy on the weekends, so if you're not a fan of big crowds, Do Not Enter - Do Not Pass Go. So, if you're going there for that, and you have small children and it's too hot, too cold, or if it's rainy outside and your kids are going stir crazy, this is a good place to keep them busy. If not for that, I would give this place 1 star. (We never go here unless we're invited for parties with other families, or when friends suggest it when they visit from out of town.) So, go at your own risk, but don't say I didn't warn you.

TOO EXPENSIVE!!!! Family of 4 cost at least $75. Food ~ Terrible, really really really terrible. Beer & Wine ~ Saves the day. Games ~ Over priced and long waits. Tickets & Prizes ~ Really? I just spent that much money on a toy you can get at the dollar store and break over and over again. We only go if we are invited to a bday party of the kids get a certificate from school. I stay clear of this place.

This place has something for everyone: pizza, ice cream, rides and games for kids, salad, pasta and beer for adults, and single hoochie baby mamas showing way too much skin for a kiddy place for those lonely young dudes. No but seriously I had a blast. It was a very crowded Saturday afternoon and we were celebrating my nieces' birthdays. The buffet was about $12 per adult with a beverage. Buffet includes a salad bar, pastas, pizzas, baked potatoes, and soups. The desserts include ice cream with toppings, apple crisp, cheesecake, chocolate cake, and delicious mini donuts with powdered sugar. Those donuts are just like Trish's Mini Donuts from San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. Best believe I kept going back for more of those tiny suckers. There are different rooms to sit down and eat. Each room has tv's playing things according to the theme of the room. We sat in the Fusion room where they played all music videos. I really wanted to sit in the cartoon room where they were showing The Smurfs, but to my disappointment it was packed. Highly recommended for a family night out!

Super fun place for kids and adults. Its an all you can eat buffet with pizza, salad, soup, pasta and desserts. It's about $10 to get in and an extra $2 if you want all you can drink. I think they should just include it in the price. The pizza is awesome! They offer a variety of inventive pizzas including a mac an cheese pizza! They have a machine that makes fresh mini donuts which are amazing! You can also get beer, but have to pay separately. There are different themed rooms that you can eat in such as a beach room or log cabin. There is a TV playing in most of the rooms for the kids. You can rearrange the tables to accommodate for large groups. If you are worried about the space then you can always rent out a party room. There is a game section which is fun. There are even rides. The bumper cars were my favorite. You can play games and get tickets or put them onto a card which saves paper and can be used for future visits. They have some cool high ticket prizes for the return player such as a hello kitty monopoly or a nintendo DS. I'll definitely be stopping by next time I'm in town.

115 Credits + 2 Rides for only $24.99 STEAL. PERIOD. THATS: 8 Credits for the Roller Coaster (18 rides if you dedicate to the roller coaster). or 8 Games of Bowling. or 9 Rides on Their Spining in the Air Twister Ride. or 10 rides on the Bumper Cars. or 1-4 Credits for Games, so thats about 38 games (that you actually win)! Bring the family hungry, you have to pay for food to get in. The pizza & salad bar are relatively fresh. The pasta is alright. The desert bar is great. There are themed rooms. Technological, forest, toon, etc. Awesome awesome awesome. Chuck E Cheese, youre FIRED.

So much nicer than Chuck E Cheese. The kids always have fun here & the games & rides definitely make it an exciting place to take them once in a while. Price-wise I would say its not bad at all unless you have a lot of people in your party. Food - The salad bar was really well stocked with the normal array of fresh veggies, fruits & a lot of dressings including a raspberry vinegrette. The pizza bar, of course, had the Spicy Peanut Butter Pizza. Its ok to try it & say that you did but im not a fan of it. I wish their pizza's had more toppings, 2-3 small pieces of meat or veggie per slice really doesn't make a great tasting pizza. It just becomes cheese pizzas with a hint of toppings. They have an adequate pasta & baked potato bar with the sauces & toppings. In my opinion, the only thing worth eating at the dessert bar is the freshly made donuts with the soft serve ice cream on top of it. Fun place for the family once every couple months!

I found this place interesting. Def better the the big mouse, but not as good as other places. Pizza sucked, but the soup and salad bars were excellent. Good ice cream too. My kids had a blast playing games and riding the dif rides. I was pretty impressed at how nice both the employees and most of the customers were. My kids are little (3 & 5) and not once did an older kid run in front of them and take over a game. Everyone waited their turns. Completely UNLIKE the big mouse! If the pizza had been a little better I would give five stars.

This place is crazy! I have come here a couple times for my best friend's daughter's birthday. They have it organized really well, the rooms are reserved, you check in and say what party you are with, and they take you to the room. A designated person comes in and plays games with the kids, makes balloon animals, and basically gets them all riled up so they can release all the energy from pizza and cake on the rides and games. The buffet is okay, the quality of the food is about what you would expect from a Buffet. Definitely not The Kitchen status. There are many different kinds of pizza, salads, breads, and desserts. The games are the fun part. They load a card for you and you get points on the card. Each ride or game takes the card and deducts points. My favorite is the bumper cars. Who doesn't enjoy bumper cars? Also the random carnival ride in the middle is pretty fun, but I have found out that 5 year olds aren't really into it. All in all, this place is kind of a mad house with kids running around, but it's for kids, and they enjoy it, so it must be good, right? Food quality could be better, but all in all it's a good, fun place. They even have kind of an adult area so they can get away from the kids (it's where I find my friends hiding when I am all tuckered out from bumper cars and Skee-ball). They conduct business efficiently and I have never had any problem with service. And did I mention that kids love it?

Last week i went with my kids to have fun. It's best to go and eat the buffett before 3pm for the deal. The place is nice and clean, the only thing i don't like is: 1) how much points you need to get a prize 2) some games and or rides need so many credits to use Other then that, i still go to C.E.C cause it's closer to home too.

Huge dinning areas, wheel chair accessible, as big as your local Target store, thats right because it literally is that big inside. Separate party rooms for special ocassions. Pizza is actually really good for $10 per person you just cant beat it. Other similar places are not one bit close to being good as this place. Convenient ticket redemption kiosks make it much easier to claim your tickets before you head to the prize line. Soda fountains are always up and running. The employees keep up with the mess the little ones make, they are literally cleaning time after time. I noticed that they do care about the safety of the kids. In my visit a little kid slip and fell because he ran even tho a CAUTION WET FLOOR sign was up, the employee asked if he was ok and even tho the signs made it clear that it was wet floor the employee kept asking if he needed to be seen. This defenetly caught my attention and it is clear that they are here to not only do bussiness but to keep everyone safe. Restrooms cleaning was good. Always stocked and no issues. Lobby main entrance would be a little more better if they added benches to keep people sitting when they want to take a break rather then walking all the way back to a table. The place is more like 3 to 10 years of age. My daughter is only 18 months but she still had a blast...Worth the visit.

We were invited to a Bday party for a 5 year old, and we never even got in the door. They wanted $25 for me and my wife. We had no intention of touching any food or drink there, and we explained this to the manager. No dice. We were turned away from the birthday party. My daughter was upset, but not as upset as me. She will forget as time passes, but I will never, for any reason, enter this establishment again. Even if I am seeking refuge during a zombie apocalypse. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to my worst enemy. One star is too much, but I have to give one star, so I can tell you to NEVER PATRONIZE THIS CRAPPY RESTAURANT. Go to hell John's Incredible Pizza.

Meeting my sister, her family and my parents to celebrate am nephews birthday. Of course coordinating arrival times is difficult so we seem to be arriving at different times. I would like to pay for everyone but have been told that it is not possiable untill everyone has arrived. Insted of standing in the blistering sun or blocking the line I decided to attempt to ask the party line since they seem to let people in that are on a party list. Unfortunately they choose to only assist parties of 20 or more.

I asked my husband and kids to bring me here on Mother's Day. I figured the hubby could watch sports, the kdis could play, and I wouldn't have to wait 45 minutes for a table. It was perfect! I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. The salad bar had tons of options. There were also pasta and sauce options, a potato bar, a desert bar (with homemade desserts), and a large variety of pizzas to choose from. I highly recommend the spicy peanut butter pizza. All of their pizza was really tasty. They even had an ICEE machine, which my daughter was thrilled about. We will definitely come see them again!

The kids dig it. A lot. The food: Okay. Not great but not a total loss. Everything but the salad was super, super starchy. Bean soup, pasta, bread, pizza. All designed to fill you up fast so you don't eat your weight in food at their buffet. Pizza was pretty good. Nice big drink station with lots of choices. Play section: Skee ball, roller coaster, a whippy around vomit comet ride and bumper cars. Lots of arcade style games that expelled tickets at a pretty generous rate. Party: We had my eight year old's birthday party there. I think it cost me about 200.00 total for the party which included a whole bunch of credits and rides for 10 kids. We had our own party hostess who was awesome! She entertained the kids with games, balloon animals and etc. Made sure the kids all had food and kept the pitchers of sodas comin'. She even served the cake! It was the easiest birthday party I have ever hosted. My husband and I just ate dinner and watched all the kids have fun.

We brought our 5 year old daughter for lunch on her birthday. We all had a blast! The games and rides were alot of fun, the food was better than Chuck E. Cheese and we had enough tickets to pick a whole bag full of prizes. We got the $25 token/ride combo and were playing for three hours!

This place was good, not great. We went for a moms group party where you get to make your own pizza in the party room, get a tour of the joint, and some free ride credits. Taylor was our hostess, she was nice but seemed to be loosing her voice. Maybe give her a different job that day, while her voice recovers? Anyway, they let you make your own pizza but do not give you gloves or anything. The expected us and our kids (mostly 3 and 4 year olds) to just dig the pepporoni and cheese out of the bowl with our hands. Um, no? I asked for some gloves, no sorry, manager wont let us. I asked for some spoons, which was acceptable. The tour was fast, it looked like what you would expect a pizza place to look like. I more enjoyed reading the employee billboards and postings ($22 a check for health insurance, not bad). We got back to our party room and the pizza wasnt ready, and then Taylor tells us we have to be out in 20 minutes, eventhough for the rest of the day I didnt see anyone in that room. So we ate our home made pizza's, which were actually pretty good, and moved to the toon theater room. (They have theme rooms where you eat..Extreme sports, cartoons, country cabin, sports, and zen/music/asian bistro). The food was OK, not great, but actually better than you might expect for a pizza place. I suggest you watch to see what they just put out and eat that, the stuff that had clearly been sitting there sucked. The salad bar had the usual suspects. However, the crown jewel was the dessert stations fried donuts. Yummm, just like funnel cakes at the fair. Beer and Wine were pricey, $6.50 for a glass of chardonay. Glad I dont drink. The rides are pricey, and there really isnt much for smaller kids. The rides are fine, but small. They have a little bowling alley, and a kids play area that is like a McDonalds play land. Overall, I would much prefer this over Chucky Cheese, but I think Dave and Busters has this place beat hands down. Give it a try, just be ready for John to incredibly shrink your wallet.

OMG!! Really great place for kids & adults! The price for buffet is SSSOOO worth it! $10!!!! I was in pasta heaven. LOL They have everything I would eat. Salads, breads, pastas, pizzas, desserts, u name it! They even have a Slurpee machine! The arcade room has rides & a mini bowling alley. So cool. Also, I've never seen the most coolest bumper car area in my life. In that area its dark & has disco lights, so its really pretty! Also, the rooms are not reserved, its just sit anywhere. They have big flat screen tvs in each dining room. You can't bring alcohol in the arcade area & they don't have a pool area like at Dave in Buster's but I tell ya, I'd have to say this place goes up a notch, cuz while your there, you can eat, its not like your done from the restaurant area at D&B & that's it. At least at this place, you can take a break, go eat, go back to the arcade area & if you want a drink, there is a bar area you can purchase from.. I love it!!! Too bad there's none in the Bay Area!! Closest one is Roseville! *Sad face*

I like the party packages they have. An upgrade comparatively. Nice selection of pizza as well as other options to choose from. I would say you should at least try one party at Incredible John's!!!

I would give this pace zero stars if i could. Very disappointed with their customer service. I spoke to MICHELLE on the phone regarding a birthday party that I had booked and she was extremely RUDE. I was trying to get more details about a party and she cut me off mid sentence and asked me if I just wanted to cancel. Needless to say I cancelled!!!You just lost $$$$ from me because of your poor employee MICHELLE JIPC!!! For what you charge, customers should be treated better!!

On the way home from Reno we stopped off at John's Incredible Pizza to celebrate our twins' 4th birthday. This place is HUGE (and clean!) but I guess it would have to be cause they have 5 themed dining rooms, mini bowling alley with 6 lanes, toddler play area, bumper cars, drop zone, spinning ride, arcade games and little kiddie rides. They have an all you can eat pasta, salad and desert buffet. What we thought that was pretty cool is they have a machine that make fresh little donuts. The food in itself is ok. Service was great. The workers come by and ask how you're doing. They make balloon animals which is always a plus for kids :) The kids had a blast. I wish they had a location in the bay area. We'd take the kids. They also do birthday parties like all the kiddie places. John's Incredible Pizza is like a Chuck E Cheese but better.

Don't let all the complaining keep you away from an otherwise fun night. If you have kids and you want a good time out, this is a better place to go than most. I went there for my first time tonight with my 3 year old son and my wife. Dinner was surprisingly good, and yeah not worth the price, but We won't walk away sick or wishing we hadn't eaten it. And the games were a lot of fun too! My son rode his first roller coaster in there and loved it. So go experience it for yourself.

Al the pizza and dessert are okay. You get what you pay for. There's not that much games, but I guess it is pretty good for kids. The eating areas are pretty messy though. The service isn't that great either. They have their own parking lot so thats a good thing.

This place sent my plans for having kids of my own back somewhere between oh...five or ten years. Good example of uncontrolled chaos. This place was nuts! The capacity at the door read that they could fit about 2400 people and the seemed to be full. I went with my girlfriend and her brother and sister in law's two kids. (awesome kids, btw) As we pulled up to the place there was a line out the door. Her bro and I waited in line for about forty five minutes before being able to scour the place for a small table for all six of us to squeeze into. The food is set out boo-fay style and their schtick is having all kinds of weird pizza toppings like macaroni and cheese pizza, spicy peanut butter pizza, cheese burger pizza with mustard (bluh!) etc. (swear this place's menu was designed one late night by a group of hungry stoners) Pizza and such wasn't terrible, not exactly good, definitely not incredible. Nice thing is that they cut the slices small so if you're not into your selection just leave it and one of their staff will clear it away. I was ready to leave after the meal, but our whole reason for coming and waiting in line was so the kids could run loose in the arcade part. While waiting for this ride which was kind of like the tea cups at Disneyland, some kid puked when he got off so they shut the ride down for clean up. I wonder how many times a day the poor bastard that works that ride has to clean up that mess. "Hey guys, I have a great idea. Let's stuff the kids with pizza then get them reeeally dizzy." I have to say tho, we did eventually ride that one with the kids and it was pretty awesome. Anyhow, after an exhausting few hours at this place, I am so grateful for some of our more modern conveniences and advances in science, such as birth control.

My friends and I, who are either college students or college grads, have celebrated many birthdays at JIP. The buffet is pretty great and you even have the ability to custom make a pizza to your specifications. They also have a very interesting assortment of different pizzas in addition to the normal cheese, pepperoni and combination. The salad bar and pasta stations are pretty good as well. It's all that you'd expect out of a kiddie pizza buffet. This place isn't as expensive as people make it out to be. Expect to drop around $12 for the buffet and drinks, and about $10 more for games and entertainment. Personally I would recommend getting party packages which bundle your games and buffet. Dave and Busters would definitely be a better choice for the "older" population, but since none of these exist in the Sacramento area (until Spring 2010), JIP is the fun place to go.

I came here recently for a birthday party & it sure was INCREDIBLE! We didn't get to play the games but the food was delish! Buffet for about $10! They had all sorts of pizzas! Nacho pizza was my fave! They had peanut butter pizza! Really? Peanut butter!! Yum! Alfredo, mac & cheese! garlic pesto! I was in pizza heaven! The slices were tiny (because this is catered towards kids) but they were the perfect size for me so i could try every single pizza! Oh, they had tiny donuts too! Omg yum!! HOT & FRESH. My son's birthday party might just have to be at John's Incredible!!
