Diabetics at TGI Friday

If you're a diabetic, then you must be extra careful while dining at TGI Friday. Try the salad menu at TGI Friday to keep your sugar and sodium intake in check. Soups are great to keep you full and satisfied without munching on the unhealthy greased meat-based dishes on TGI Friday menu.

Foods to Avoid at TGI Friday for Diabetics:

Sugar and sodium intake are crucial if you have diabetes. While the salads are the best option for you at TGI Friday, it is recommended to avoid the Pecan-Crusted Chicken Salad containing over 1000 calories and 1,650mg sodium. Also, skip Warm Pretzels with Craft Beer-Cheese dipping sauce as it contains more than 3000mg sodium. It is wise to skip the dessert for diabetics, especially the Brownie Obsession topped with Vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and pecans.

Great place to go after work and enjoy some food where their kitchen is open late. Service is good.

Worst service ever. Can't tell if it was bad service or just a bad server. Our server only came one time to check up on us. My water was EMPTY and she walks away to sit at the booth behind us with her coworkers to talk. Um hello? You're on the clock AND you're not doing your job. Also, your guest are sitting right in front of you while you're slacking off! Worst worst server ever.

We had s sweet waitress that was very patient with us... Very clean and a great atmosphere. The steaks were very delicious and the mashed potatoes were yummy. Bonus was the Instagram sign the girls held up for my son to take a pic in... All around a good time!

Had a mediocre meal that we payed too much for. The fish ended up giving me a stomach ache but the steak was okay at best. What really made me write this review was the waitress. She was really casual with us, talking to us like we're homies but I dismissed it as friendliness. When an older, dare I say a more affluent looking couple sat next to us, we were forgotten. Didn't refill my sangria, got our asked for ranch dip 20 mins after our appetizer and when we were done with our meal, all we got was "Damn! U guys killed it!" And our check. What about desert?! I can't help but feel like we were dismissed because the waitress didn't think we would tip good. They have way too many people at work just hanging around which would explain the laziness.

Food is the same for tgif everywhere but this location is packed. The great thing about this place is that there is always tons of parking. I love the bar area. Tons of tvs. You can get Confused but you also will not miss any of the action. This is right off the rosemead exit off the 10 fwy so easy to access.

Came here on weeknight just before Christmas and I was actually surprised they still had Happy Hour (after 9 PM)! As a french fry addict, I love their fries! I probably increased my saturated fat/ blood pressure that night with its fattening/ sodium goodness. I had their Long Island, which was pretty weak (it was practically a $6 ice tea! Haha), but service was extremely friendly. Would definitely come back again. They also have miniature kiosks at each table which allows you to pay your bill and split it without have to wait to get the attention of your waiter/waitress!

This is my local Happy Hour spot. Cannot beat all day Sunday happy hour and weekday happy hour until 7 pm. My service here has always been great. My last two servers were awesome, Regina and Laura! I joined the TGI membership thing and I always get bogo entrees. This deal is awesome! Steak and Rib dinners and sides for around $20 bucks!!! - Jack Daniels Ribeye & Lobster - $24.58 - Ribeye is good and tender. Lobster was a bit over cooked but cannot expect the best from a non seafood restaurant. Great deal with the BOGO. - Jack Daniels Rib & Shrimp - $22.95 - Full rack of ribs and shrimps on a skewer. Ribs are really good when you use the JD sauce. You get 5 shrimps with this plate. Decently seasoned, tasted good. - Happy Hour Beers - $3.50 for 32oz tap beers. I get coors and PBR usually. - Happy Hour Apps - 1/2 off apps - I usually get the, Spinach Flatbread $4.15 and Grilled Chicken Wings, dry with scorching sauce on the side $5. Flatbread is really good with the scorching sauce and the wings are always good when I get them. Great deals! Good food. I do not know why the restaurant has such a low review. Will be back soon!

TGI Friday is hidden at Rosemead shopping center. I went there for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't busy at all. There are lots of booths and tables with chairs. The background music aka hip hop or rap was annoying. The waitress is nice and good on refills. My French dip sandwich is tasty with soft bun and small in portion. The fries are crispy and seasoned pepper and sea salt. They also have half price appetizers and cheap prices on drinks for a Saturday. Plenty of parking to park your car.

Being my first time here, I didn't know how things will be after walking through those sets of doors. As the doors opened, the sound of loud music greeted us. The hostess quickly assisted us. She walked us towards the Bar area, asked us if we would like to be seated here. We declined due to very loud music & the crowds that were there cheering on their teams on TV. She took us to the dinning area, seated us at a booth. Our server Melissa introduced herself. We told her the this is our first time here so she quickly showed us the specials on the menu plus she also told us that Sunday is All Day Happy Hour. She took the time to explain the different entrées, appetizers, & prices. We ordered the Mozzarella Sticks for the Appetizer, for the entree: 2 for $20 plus an upgrade fee of $5 for the Flatiron Steak with loaded baked potato & Onion rings. The second entree: $3 upgrade for the Petite Sirloin, mixed Veggies, & loaded baked potato. Both our steaks were ordered Med...The steaks came out to Med Well. Melissa took our steaks back & had new ones fired up right away. The loaded baked potatoes were dressed in green onions not chives & no bacon. She did however brought us extra butter & sour cream. My mixed veggies were fresh not frozen, Al dente but lacked seasonings so I added butter, S&P. The onion rings were soggy. The steaks came but it appeared the grill person rushed because the steaks came out burnt on the outside & med rare on the inside. Every bite was bitter & then the raw tasting on the inside. The dessert was a Vanilla Bean Cheesecake. Not bad. You can see the Vanilla seeds. The crust was moist given to it was a Graham Cracker crust. Melissa was quick to refill our drinks. She did state that TGIF does not specialize in steaks so there it is & I know that this is not a steak house so no expectations there. Overall, food is mediocre but service was better than the food. Leaving this place sort of made me feel that I had just left a club more than a Restaurant.

To be honest I am really a harsh critic when it comes to food and drinks and honestly I drive from downtown LA every week just to come to this Friday's I've at least done it 15 times in a row! The food I order is excellent and it's from the bar and it's the bones less buffalo wings, crispy potato skins and mozzarella sticks with an electric lemonade extra cherries! This is the best Friday's in all of California and I've been to several! They deliver every single time with their food quality and their drinks if you go ask for Martin as he is our fav bartender. Hope he stays there forever! Hats off to the Rosemead Friday's for being the reason I can't lose these last 10lbs I need shake lol

Come for Happy Hour. The staff here are very nice and welcoming. From the moment we enter to the time we leave. Our drinks never hit 50% and the manager also walks by to make sure everythings up to par. Such a great place to hangout. It feels like your at home with a bunch of friends and ur neighbors are bringing you food. Music, food, drinks, excitement inside TGI.

This place is the bomb!!!!! Service at the bar is great! Martin the bar tender always makes great drinks, his electric lemonade is the bizzzzzz!!! The rest of the staff always makes sure we are taken care of and the buffalo boneless wings, potato skins and mozzarella sticks are just incredibly fresh all the time! Make sure you go there and it's super cheap during happy hr!

Went for lunch with the family and I was happy with the service and food. I don't think I have ever left a chain TGI unsatisfied. We pretty much know what we are getting with no surprises. This restaurant is located closer to the freeway, so head that direction so you don;t get lost in the huge parking lot of businesses.

Ok where do i get started so i went with my coworkers and we just had the worst experience here our waitress was the worst she was telling us that we had rules and monitored everything we did and was like "no you cant do this or that" and it took about 30min per drink so we finally went to the bar and got our drinks on the snap of a finger so why would it take her 30 min any who oh ya and she never even got is our place settings and moving on so anyway she cleared our plates when we were talking and we were not even finished so i complained and did not want to pay it was ridiculous i should not pay for half the food i ordered and she had informed the bartenders not to serve us because we were sitting at tables i swear it felt like i was eating with prison guards ministering our every move so we all split the bill and should have only paid $19 each ...everyone but me did get charged that but not me i have the receipt that says $19 but my bank statements say $78 i had to drive back and complain that i wanted a full refund their service was the worst i hate that i went through that and had to go back and waist gas to get my money back and i still have not yet got refunded so that's my last time there

I've been to this Fridays before but last night was for the books. I went with a friend of mine at around 12 AM for a beer and some food. The waiter seemed rushed and annoyed when answering any questions I had. I ordered appetizers, beers, and a plate for my friend and I to share. I emphasized the fact that I wanted the Jack Daniel's Chicken and Shrimp because I wanted shrimp. I was told there was no appetizers that had fried shrimp, which is why I ordered that dish. Again, emphasizing my wanting shrimp. The manager, I don't know his name, comes out with our entree.. no shrimp, just chicken. I said,"Oh I ordered the Jack Daniel's chicken and shrimp." He answers me, "take one of the chicken breasts off the plate, i'll take the plate and add the shrimp. it's only supposed to come with one chicken breast." um.. what? Who does that? I'm supposed to hold a chicken breast on the fork while you get what I actually ordered? Very poor customer service. I wasn't happy with the fact that I was freezing the entire time either. I know it was late, but they weren't packed which means I should have had better attention. If the kitchen can't handle orders that late, don't serve food. Not coming back to this Fridays.

It was too much Cheese each bite where it got cold fast and ended up getting very chewy. =[ Sliders - Dry =[ Skip Spinach Dip - Yummy Spicy Beef Queso - Too much bean ratio, kinda tasted like throw up. =[ Overall - Ehh, most of the appetizers were hit & miss. nothing was consistent. ehhhh

Havn't been to TGIF in a long time. We stop going to TGIF long time ago cause of the price and small portion of food. Saw a CM that they were doing a $12 endless appetizer. We went to give a try. Seems like this location does not do the $12 promo. WTH?! The CM said they offer the $12 promo everyday. We end up ordering regular plate. Our both plates were TOO SALTY. It seemed like the cook just battered the meat with salt or something. It was just too much. Gonna be avoiding TGI.

For me, TGI Friday's was always a hit or a miss. The food today was pretty mediocre, in all honesty... overly salty, but our service was impeccable. My brother walked in, anticipating to get their special AYCE $10 appetizer deal, but after looking through the menu I contemplated on just getting a sandwich, but opted out. Kinda regretted it, but oh well. Stephany was our waitress, and she was very friendly with us, by greeting us with the warmest smile, and always very sincere whenever she talked to us. I decided to get the Boneless Buffalo Wings in Tennessee BBQ sauce as my first round, and my brother ordered the Loaded Potato Skins appetizers. At the time, we didn't know what we wanted, but Stephany gave us a bunch of recommendations of what were more popular amongst guests, and any specials going on at the time. She was more than just patient with us, but was understanding since we didn't know what to choose. Some notes: AYCE Appetizers - $10/person. About 5-6 options to choose from. Parmesan Steak Fries - $3.99 The food did take some time to come out to us, which didn't make any sense, but no biggie. Right when Stephany brought us out our appetizers, she had immediately asked if we wanted to place another order since they did take a while to come out. And we thought it was great, because we thought we would have to wait forever again for round two. I chose the Garlic Parmesan as my next order, and my brother continued onto round two of his Loaded Potato Skins. The Tennessee BBQ sauce on the boneless wings were delicious! I am usually pretty picky about sauces, since I tend to like it a bit more savory, than tangy and sweet... but these were great. Seasoning was perfect, and the chicken was actually pretty moist for our first round. The coating of the boneless wing was super thick as you can expect, but not as heavy as Buffalo Wild Wings. Thankfully, the thick coating didn't allow for a salty taste. It also came with a side of celery. The Loaded Potato Skins are supposed to be one of the more popular appetizers at TGI Friday's, and these were our first time having them, but they were so greasy and overly crispy. The cheese tasted like imitation, like the cheese from a ritz cheese cracker... but even that's tastier. The bacon was okay, I didn't think ti was anything special. And it was served with a scallion sour cream sauce. I've heard good things about this, but felt like it fell short of execution. We didn't care much for them. The Garlic Parmesan Boneless Wings came out next, as well as the other round of Loaded Potato Skins. The style that TGI Friday's was similar to Wingstop's, The coating on these wings seemed a bit thicker, and the chicken came out dry. It was basically sitting in a wash of butter, and no parmesan.. boo. I definitely wouldn't order that again. Earlier during our first round, I had asked if I could switch out the celery for some carrots, and Stephany brought me a mound of baby carrots... score! Lastly, came out the Classic Buffalo Boneless Wings. I like buffalo wings, but maybe it was because we were already full, that we couldn't really eat them anymore. I felt like te sauce was a bit too tangy though. Also, our Parmesan Steak Fries came out last, since we did order it mid-way into our meal. Again, it seems like TGIF likes to drown their food in butter, since that's pretty much what it was. I paid $3.99 for steak fries... and it came out with 5 potato wedges sitting in butter, topped with some parmesan. For $3.99, I expected better. Even if the food wasn't great, the service here was excellent. The host in the front was a younger male, and he was nice enough to open the doors for us, even if we haven't even came into the restaurant yet. I didn't catch his name, but he was very friendly with us, and even opened the door for us as we left. Stephany was great throughout our meal. She checked up on us a few times, refilling our drinks, and providing us with extra napkins without asking. For our food here, I would honestly give it 1-2 stars. But with our wonderful waitress, she is the reason I bumped up my star count. If it weren't for the service, I would've only given 1. Stephany, you were awesome!

Can someone please explain to me why there are 3 hostesses chatting and ignoring guests. Or why the restaurant has about 85% of tables empty and there's a 20 minutes wait. Or why there's also 3 waiters standing in one of the dining rooms just talking. I don't understand. I'm pretty sure I don't need my college degree to tell me that restaurants make money when patrons are actually DINING and being helped. Instead of having a full lobby but empty tables. But maybe this is some new business concept I didn't learn since I didn't get my masters like so many of my friends.

Just came with a group of 13 people, and service is extremely slow. It took over an hour for 2 or 3 of our group members to get appetizers. Drinks took 15 or 20 minutes to come. Its ridiculous. One of our group members ordered a salad which shpuld not have takened that long. I talked to a waitor then the manager, and the reason was because it was busy and they tried accomadating to us and refilling our drinks as quickly as possible . This is a tuesday night and it was not that full. This will be our first and last time coming here. Ive seen places at full capacities do better. When the food came other group members were not satisfied. I came right when my friends ordered but seeing that it took so long I did not want to order anything but a drink. Two stars is for not charging gratuity.

My boyfriend& I are regulars at this TGI FRIDAYS. It's always a hit. Never a miss. The bar area is where we always decide to dine. The wait sometimes is stupid but never for us. The food is always good& the service tops it all off.

I've only been here twice. Ordered the same thing: Chipotle Yucatan Chicken Salad. I really like this salad. But I've also never got to fully enjoy it because I don't really eat dairy. I've specifically stated no cheese and no cream both times I ordered this salad. I made sure to repeat it multiple times the second time I went. Of course, I still received the salad with cheese AND cream both times. I never like to complain when it's things I can fix, so I scraped out as much cheese and cream (eating around it too) as I could. I didn't get a full meal because the cheese pieces were too small to dig out. The iced tea and drinks were good though.

Overall I really like Fridays but this one in particular isn't really that great to be honest. So needless to say I was very disappointed. The quality of the food (how well it was cooked and how good it tasted) was not worth what we paid for it, AT ALL.

Restaurant is large and was able to easily accomodate our party of 14. The service is average, the typical chain restaurant staff of "overworked, understaffed, hurry up and leave me alone" experience. Funny how we have been numbed to be accustomed and accept such in our dining experience nowadays. The food? I was already not expecting anything exemplary or anything more than something tepid....I was not disappointed. But hey they threw in for free 3 scoops of ice cream with some topping and a rousing Happy Birthday TGIF rendition singing by the overworked understaffed hurry up and leave me alone wait staffs.

It's good to have a TGIF so close to El Monte, I used to drive out to Covina...there is plenty of parking and it's conveniently next to the 10 freeway. This particular location is fairly new so it is very clean and modern. The staff has always been courteous and well attending...there is a good amount of TVs to watch the games wether you sit at the bar or at a table. Not a bad place to meet up with friends on a Friday for food and drinks.

I ate lunch at TGI Friday's in Rosemead, CA on 10/13/2014 (Columbus Day). I've eaten here several times before. This time I had a Philly Burger with fries ($11.79) and a Raspberry Tea ($2.99). My server, Laura, did a fine job. Plus, I took photos. What was new to me was their Ziosk machines which are at each table. They advertise menu items (no surprise), play video games for a price (no surprise) and also allow you to pay your bill right at your table (surprise). Oreo Madness was something you eat and not a video game --- but maybe it should be.

So what am I going to do when someone gives me a giftcard to a chain joint like this? Honestly I will grudgingly use it. All the while I hate myself for using it and eating their garbage here. Yeah I said garbaaaaaj... Almost everything that the munchkin and I got was bleh from the service to the food to the watered down adult beverage (only one since the munchkin was with me). So yeah the one great saving grace were the pretzel sticks appetizer with cheese sauce. Those things rocked after they finally arrived after the rest of our grub. =\ Pro Tip: Its next to the freeway at the Rosemead Plaza (Target shopping center) However we were there for happy hour appetizer deals and sat at the high tables near the bar to get the deals. Well, the rest of the grub was ehhh if that. We had sliders, teriyaki beef skewers, fries, non slushie slushies (well the munchkins =\) ... The skewers were a bit tough and the sauce wasn't like most teriyaki sauces I have had, a bit thick and very sweet. The slider was very average at best. The fries were standard average fries. The non slushie slushie simply melted before the munchkin could drink hardly any of it. It didn't retain its slushieness for more than about 5-10 minutes and it wasn't even a hot day! I got an electric lemonade and couldn't even tell it wasn't a virgin drink... it was supposed to have a drop or two of vodka in it per the menu. Then there was the service. Our waiter was busy talking to the waitresses running around in the restaurant more than pay attention to any of the tables that were in his section. We had to flag other staff down to find our waiter for us 3 times. =\ Overall it was a very disappointing trip. We loved the pretzels so much that those prevented the trip from being a complete one star bust.

This has been my regular Sunday Football place. There are MANY TVs and they have ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR. Half off appetizers, Cheap Beers. What else do you need. Service is always on point. I REALLY Wish they had the Volume for the Niners Game instead of the TOP40 music....but I understand why they cant. Too many other games going on. This will be my Sunday spot until I can find a Niner Bar close to my house.

Waiters/waitresses are always rude, and have ugly attitudes. Ive been here 3 times since this place has first opened, only because I've had friends who have invited me to come with them here, and I have had bad service every single time. The appetizers made my stomach hurt last time I came. Better off going to the T.G.I.F is west covina.

Sunday happy hour half price appetizers! I wouldn't say their good is amazingly good but I love coming here at happy hours.

Worst service ever, we had to sit and wait for a very long time for our food. I would understand if the restaurant was full of guest and busy but it was very empty. We order two very expensive appetizers and didn't even get small plates to eat, plus the food was very cold and super greasy. We order two desserts and the cake was old and dry. I paid $108 for the worst service ever. I would give you ZERO stars if I could

3 stars because the good food saved this from being 2 stars. Food alone would have been 4 stars. Still missing Sean... our favorite server. Whitney was good, although she seemed in a rush; asked about dessert when we were only 2/3 through dinner. She was in such a hurry to clear our plates while we were still finishing our dinner that I asked if there was a shortage of dishware in the kitchen. Also had to ask twice for napkins and had to ask for the wetnaps as well. Really? We had RIBS!

I like coming here for Happy Hour. HH on weekends which is a plus! Its a cool spot for having a few drinks on a hot day and to chill with friends. The burgers here are mediocre..if you're craving a burger, I would suggest you go to The Habit which is across the plaza for much better tasting burgers and price. The shrimp cocktail here is a joke! Literally like 6 teeny tiny shrimps hung around the cocktail glass with that disgusting cocktail sauce. What a waste of money! And not to mention the dessert- red velvet cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It tasted uncooked and looked super moist, the ice cream was melted to the point where I knew it had been sitting in the kitchen for awhile before it got to me. I finished the ice cream but only had two bites of the cake. Overall, good HH and bad food. Happy Hour: Mon-Sat 3pm-7pm & 10pm-close All day Sunday

Saddest looking Togo appetizer. I can't believe they would give this out. Looks like someone ate it before giving it to me. More like leftovers.

Food consistency is a hit or miss. Each time I come here, I order the sirloin medium rare and it comes out different each time. There are times when the meat quality isn't up to par. It wasn't that busy for them to rush out the food and end up not being cooked to previous experiences. However, each time I came here (usually Thursday nights) our server/bartender Damien (the one with the dreads) has given us AWESOME service. He's made my experience here a good one despite the food. Some days, I feel this place gets a 4 and today's experience is a 3.

For my first time here, I went with my boyfriend for the ayce appetizers. I highly recommend the spinach dip and the buffalo wings, that way you'd get your fair share for the price. Whenever we wanted to refill our orders or our drinks our waiter was who knows where. Had to wait almost ten minutes before we saw him again. At the end of the night, we paid the bill with about 20% of the bill left. Since service wasn't so great, we waited. Waited and waited. Finally about 15 minutes later our waiter comes back and actually asked "oh did you want your change?" Like, are you kidding me? Even if you believed you did great serving us, its still common sense to give us our change back. Second time we came here, we wanted to give it another chance so we decided to invite another couple for a double date. Food was good. Waitress was a helluva lot better than the waiter we had the first time. Always checked up on our table. Refilled our drinks. There were only two problems I really had with this night. First was when I was walking to the restroom, another waitress was running like a madwoman to the kitchen and bumped into me and didn't apologize. Its common decency to do so but I just let it slide. Second was that service was quite slow, especially for a night that didn't have many customers. So, to summarize, two stars for food. Half star for service.

Love love LOVE their new endless appetizers for $12. Its a great way to try all of them without spending too much. Also the place is very nice and all the waiters are really friendly.

If i could give zero stars i would, last night ate this for dinner & i have severe food poisoning!..never again!

  • Jo-an S.

Awesome service! Adriana was on point with everything. The food came out pretty fast, even considering how busy it was. 2 stars, only because my bf and I got food poisoning. It was probably the shredded cheese in the quesadilla. The cheese wasn't melted all the way, so it possibly could've been stored out of temp.

  • Claudia S.

The food is disgusting because it tastes so cheap and processed. My friend ordered grilled chicken Nachos and the chicken was so overcooked and dry the chunks stuck together like glue. I ordered a Mango Berry Margarita and it tasted more like a smoothie than a cocktail. I couldn't made that slush myself. Our server wad very nice and patient with us though.

  • Kristyn G.

The staff here is ridiculous. Why make us wait 10 minutes when there are more than a dozen empty tables. There's no shortage of staff either. The podium doesn't fit three people. Have the 2 wingmen work some tables instead of talking. Their excuse for our table taking so long was stupid. "We are getting your table ready" Please it's not that hard to put a pre-wrapped knife and fork on the table in front of each chair. I see that every table around us is completely ready. Their staff is unprofessional overall The food was whatever. Nothing special.

    (1)
  • Wendy T.

We went there and waiting for an hour. Their hostesses keep telling us table will be ready soon. People we came in same time already finished and left. We end up eating somewhere else. Their service is horrible, will never go back again

  • Elizabeth C.

It took awhile to get our drink order. Our mozzarella stick app took about 20 minutes to come to our table. It was only about 5 minutes our main dishes came. Our waiter was ok; nothing special or over the top about him. Will I go back? Only if I have a gift card to use.

Sitting at the bar area watching them make drinks kinda grossed me out. They do not wash their hands.. Service was eh okay the host didn't seem like she liked her job. She wasn't friendly or anything also didn't have a smile on her face. Very unwelcoming. But our waiter was nice. I like going here only during their happy hr time ..50% off their appetizer starting at 3pm to .. I forgot what time it ends . But good deal

I have been to this TGIF's twice since it first opened late last year '12. The food here is decent both times that I was here. The first time we sat in the bar area for Happy Hour so we could watch the Lakers game while we chow down our food. For Happy Hour, the specials is only served in the bar area. The prices are not that expensive... so we ordered sliders, beef nachos, onion rings, buffalo wings, beer, and an Ultimate Electric Lemonade which was a lemon margarita with that fancy name. The food came out after about 15 minutes which was a decent time. Everything was cooked nicely, and well presented. The food was full of flavor, and my favorite was the buffalo wings... simply because of the spicy kick it has in it. The sliders were tiny but delicious with the meat cooked at medium well. The nachos and onion rings were just there to snack on, so it doesn't really matter. The Ultimate Electric Lemonade was well mixed. It's not that strong in terms of the alcohol content, and you could really taste the tangy lemon flavor with it's glass rim dipped in sugar. I think I drank a couple of those lemonades because it was so good. So the first time, I was happy and pleasantly surprised. The second time I went was totally a different story. The waiters and waitresses was still very friendly. The hostess on the other hand wanted to seat us on a table in the bar facing nothing but a dark corner. I didn't think she was too bright or posses enough common sense to do that because there was plenty of tables around the windows, and a few other empty tables around the bar. I was with my parents who are older, and I am sure they won't want to sit in the bar! Especially when it was a beautiful day. I refused that table so she finally sat us in a more desirable location. Yes, everybody working there was very friendly and courteous to the customers. Our waiter was probably still new. I figured just by looking at him that he's still learning his position. So I excused him for not being able to perform perfectly... especially when his cell phone went on. But he was very respectful to my parents and he tried to be professional too. We started off with drinks. Two raspberry iced teas and a coca cola. No problem, he brought it over to us instantly. He took our orders, and great... we could eat soon. Guess what? our food did not arrive at our table until 45 minutes later. The restaurant was well staffed, it was no longer that busy since the rush ended, but no food?!? The other people who sat down after us was already eating. I was so irritated because of what happened. I asked the waiter, and another waiter who wasn't the one serving us to check. They finally brought out my order of Spinach Florentine... which is flat bread with cheese and spinach dip on top. It was good though! We waited again for another 10 minutes and the food finally came out. An order of chicken pasta, an order of spaghetti, and my Jack Daniels Burger. I must say the food was still very good! My burger was flavorful cooked medium, and JD sauce was served on the side. The pasta dishes was also delicious. The spaghetti sauce and white cream sauce went well with the pasta. I think I will order that the next time I go. Anyhow, going back to the 45 minutes wait. I was not happy. I had to reschedule another appointment I had later the afternoon because of our long wait. It was funny how the manager came out... per my request since the waiter asked if I wanted to talk to her. Each of the waiters couldn't really explain why the food took so long. The only said the cook in the back go sick and left without telling anybody. So of course the manager had to say the same thing to keep the story consistent. For me... I could careless what happens in the back kitchen, or who's (the employee) dysfunctional. It is an internal problem that needs to be fixed quickly. More importantly it happened on a Saturday. I could just imagine the 45 minutes wait during a lunch hour on a weekday. How can anybody explain the matter about being late going back to the office? So please TGIF... take care of your internal problems. This is not a good way to sustain your business even though it's so nicely remodeled inside. Sure anybody could make up any excuse about the food part. Oh yeah, we ended up getting a free lunch from the manager. But I felt bad for the waiter who really tried to serve us. So at least I still left a tip! A weak 3 stars now because of my experience of their bad hair day. But I will be back again... and hopefully it will be a better experience. Especially if it is a business meeting lunch.

Saw the recent commercial of the Endless Appetizers which is very tempting. So I came with friends but was told it's for a person only and there is NO SHARING! WTH!? Watch your misleading commercial again!!!!! Don't you see how many hands were grabbing the appetizer from the same plate??? Felt cheated, very shady business practice.

Haven't been to a Fridays for ages! Cause It wasn't that great for a long while, but with the new and improved Menu and sauces I'm a fan once again! This particular Fridays is great, cause it's off to a corner, so plenty of parking. Staff and manager are all so friendly I know especially cause I was here back to back for 3 plus days (due to figure out company party menu). JD sause sampler is DELICIOUS!!! Who would have known JD can make such a good sauce?! the rib is tender, the chicken got a crunch to it. YUM Happy hour got great selection of drinks and appetizer for an AWESOME price. Entrees I've tried: Dragon fire salmon (4/5) Surprisingly good! Not dry and the tangy Kung Pao sauce wasn't too overwhelming. My friend had the Parmesan steak fries, very very yummy. Not crispy cause they are quite large in pieces, but very flavorful, I think it's both cheese and butter:P Petite Sirloin(2/5) A bit on the dry size, but it's not a steak house so didn't expect it to be great anyways. I had mine entree with sweet potato fries which are delicious and their chef's veggie selection, is not good at all. Yuck. Wedge Salad (3/5) interesting concept. But it's very hard to eat. I ended up chopping everything up so it tasted just like another salad. Not bad but I would go with normal salad next time. JD Burger (4/5) all the JD selection are generally delicious cause the sauce is pretty addicting. Burger is average, but the sauce made it awesome. seasoned fries are average as well. Chicken Brachutta Pasta (3/5) Not bad. The pasta sauce was yummy, but Im guessing they made a big batch and server it whenever someone orders it. Cause the pasta was luke warm. Chicken is dry like i expected, but really wish the pasta was hot. Food as in entree are average. But Food as in appetizer/ happy hour small bites, they are delicious and price make them even better. The good rating is based on the overall experience, including food, atmosphere, and service.

Definitely don't recommend this place to any due the fact of piss poor service. It's fucking freezing in there and you can't here what the person next to you is saying because the music is so incredibly loud. I love Fridays but this one is the worst Friday's that I have ever been to. Plus it's super packed(I don't know why lol) even the manager was rude and didn't give a crap what you said. Good luck to anyone who goes here! You'll need it! XD place is shit.

Cooks can't get it it right ? Really. Great server is one thing but I waited for 20 minutes for fries and got sliders both times with onions. Didn't ask for onions !!! Twice !! Still waiting for my chicken pasta. Been over 20 minutes easy. Maybe a new store or new cook or a bad day either way. I build these restaurants TGIF. and I come back to eat here and I expect good times. So sad kitchen can't get it right and which makes servers look BAD . !! Not fair to server ..... Thanks kevin.

Doesn't even deserve a star! Went in on Father's Day at 9:40 and wasn't even a busy night and it took 25 minutes to get a drink and 45 minutes to order! And we never even saw our server at all, everything was brought out to us by the manager and everyone in our table had no drinks for 15 minutes and manager came again to get us more drinks supposedly and never came back with our drinks, we were in there for an hour and 30 minutes and never saw our server and never received our food. Worst experience ever

Went for a quick lunch with my family. Our waiter Ricardo was really nice but couldn't get our order correct! We just ordered appetizers and it took such a long time to get them. Our order was very simple but they kept messing it up. It took over 5 tries to finally get our order correct. The most annoying part is we had to explain over and over what was wrong with our order. But still couldn't get it right after the first time explaining! This was so disappointing! I had asked for our check and that also took a long time to get it. I had to ask a second time for our check to finally get it. Never again will I go to this location.

*** Review is only for Happy Hour Specials *** Great local bar and friendly bartenders. Half off appetizers, $4 well drinks, cheap beer, and a dangerous $1.50 basket of fries (which we usually end up getting two). The Ultimate Electric Lemonade, Ultimate Long Island Iced Tea, and Ultimate Margarita were ultimately really sweet. Not recommended unless you have a sweet tooth.

Came here on a Friday night for happy hour. There was a Laker game that night so of course, this location was packed. The 45 minute wait didn't seem too bad though since there were plenty of televisions to watch while waiting for my table and with the overtime and whatnot, my friends wanted to stay and finish watching the game anyway instead of searching for a less crowded place to eat. Less than 45 minutes later, I got a text to let me know the table was ready and was led to a booth right in front of the tv. Yay! Happy hour (after 10pm til closing) gives you the opportunity to get 50% off appetizers (smaller portioned but it's half the price so that's expected), $5 and under drinks ranging from margaritas to beer, and of course the rest of the menu is still available. The service was good and for the amount of drinks and food we had, the number on the bill looked like a miracle lol. Happy hour guys - it's worth the wait!

    (4)
  • Elizabeth B.

The food is exactly what you would expect from a TGIFriday restaurant. The rating comes from slow service. We found out later that we could have ordered from the device on the table but it was hidden behind some menus so we couldn't see it. This isn't normally a place I would go and would only go back if someone I am with is already going there.

I had never been to TGIF but my dad had been wanting to try it ever since his friend told him that it was his favorite place. We went on a Friday night one day and the wait was too long for us so we ate at another restaurant. We went again on a Wednesday around 4 pm and it was not busy at all. We got seated right away. It was five of us and we usually get a booth. However the host told us that in order to get the happy hour appetizers and drinks we had to sit around the bar. We ended up sitting on a regular high table which was a bit of an inconvenience for my parents. I don't see why you can't get happy hour appetizers when you sit on the regular tables?! But whatever. Our server was really friendly which was a plus. He brought us our drinks fast and came by several times to make sure they were always full. Our food came out pretty fast as well, I'm sure it's because it was not busy. I got the Cajun shrimp pasta, it was delicious except for the shrimp, such a disappointment. The pasta itself was good, it also had pieces of chicken which was also good. The shrimp had a weird taste to it. My sister and dad got ribs and oh my they were DELICIOUS!! I will probably get that next time. My mom got a different pasta and she wasn't a big fan of it, I did not try it. My other sister got a burger and she said it was alright. I also got the spinach flat bread and it was perfect!!! I definitely recommend it! Overall the service was great and the food was good.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Came in and sat at the bar area. No service at all until the hostess gave us a menu. She said our server would be right with us. As tgif regular at the west covina one I was very disappointed by this location. Sat and waited for 45 minutes and still no service. All waiters were just looking the other way. I don't know if it was cause I was asian or what but seriously "looking the other way" everytime I stared them down. After waiting and waiting I gave up and just walked out. This location sucks ass. I rather take my money else where. Sorry tgif Rosemead location you lost me as a customer.

Well just as you would expect. This is one of those commercialized locations. You either are going to enjoy your food because it is mass produced or you are going to hate your food because it is mass produced. I either case...when you come to a joint like this, you know what to expect so don't be surprised.

I love coming here for happy hour. It's a good place to catch up with an old friend and the environment is not too loud. During happy hour, their appetizers are half off and their cocktails are $5. I always go for the blended mangoberry margarita and it never fails. It never comes too watery and the sweetness is on point. I always order a basket of fries to go with it. If I am in the mood for some food, I opt for the flat bread (especially the spinach one). They are super savory and delicious! The electric lemonade is also good if you want to go for a less fruity drink. I will definitely be coming back for more!

I came here for an office dinner so we had a pretty big group. They were more than accommodating although they made us wait for at least half the party to arrive before seating us. While waiting, we had happy hour drinks and food at the bar which they kindly moved to our table once we sat down. The HH appetizers are good and worth the visit, but the TGIF's menu is uninspiring. I really couldn't decide on what to eat-- there are a lot of options and combos which made it a bit confusing. I ended up getting a steak & ribs plate with a size of tomato & mozzarella salad and sweet potato fries. I asked for the steak medium rare, and I kid you not... it came out well done!! I'm not the type to send back my food because god knows what people do to food sent back to the kitchen -_- .... I ate it anyways because it at least tasted okay.... it's that darn Jack Daniel's sauce. Sickingly sweet sauce that tricks your tastebuds into liking everything! A few people in our group ordered lobster tails and the server came back to inform us they were out of lobster tails. As a chain restaurant, I think it's pretty bad to be out of something listed on your menu. Definitely room for improvement in terms of service too. You can tell the servers are new because there were a lot of "i'm not sure, let me find out for you" responses and our waitress kept mistaking me for the person sitting next to me and tried to make conversation by asking me a weird question about our ethnicitiy. I'll let it slide.. girl's new to the job and I hope she gets better with experience.

Got there and the host was no where to be found waited 8min then she finally came but instead of paying any attention to me and my husband she tends to another couple and they so kindly told her that we were there first and she still tries to tend to them and they said it once more And then she goes oh! Then she insisted we sit at the bar SMH... Then we ordered Cherly temple and Roy Rodger's last time I recalled they came with cherries and so I had to ask, witch was rediculous but what ever and me and my husband always share an order of the endless app cuz we easy about two to three plates and that's it bit they raised the price and said we couldn't do that is OK I'm not coming back I'm sticking to the one in Downey or south gate whatever one that is its way better than this place

The Service here is great and fast! The $12 unlimited appetizer deal is terrific! You do have to pay the $12 per person without sharing, but that's understandable. The BBQ ribs and Pot Stickers are very delicious and filling. Also, the bar dining area is great for groups with upbeat music. I highly recommend this TGIF location.

I recommend their Jack Daniel burger and their craft beer burger. Can't go wrong with their spicy buffalo wings, sesame chicken and ahi tuna crisps. For dessert their Tennessee whiskey cake and brownie with ice cream is to die for. Their cocktails and margaritas are also really good. Lastly, their service is definitely something to write home about. I've only good things to say about this place

Friendly staff and awesome bartender and drinks. Disappointed with the appetizer trio we got. The potatoe skins were dry because they were over cooked, the wings and mozzarella sticks were good but the menu said it was enough for three people and it wasn't...

Haven't been to TGIF in awhile. Their food has never impressed me, just so so. I didn't go tonight, but my girlfriend did and I asked for a burger to go. The burger was bland and the meat patty must've cooked while it was frozen. I regret eating it! It's almost 3am and my stomach is still aching from it. Trying to vomit it out... Never going to eat anything from there again.

  • Christine D.

I only go here for happy hour once in awhile which is around 10pm I believe. Happy hour is pretty cheap for most of the appetizers except the platter. This is a good place to hang out with friends and have a drink/snack. The parmesan garlic wings and the spinach dip are my favorite. It gets pretty packed at around 10:30ish so if you wanna come for happy hour, come around 9:50 to get a seat and hang out till 10 to order.

Took my boyfriend to get some late night dinner. 2 hostess in front were doing some kind of chatting, and after like 20 seconds, one of them greeted us and was like "how many?" And follow with "oh, 2, duh *giggles* they are like right there" but while walking like 3 steps, she turned her head back and continued talking to her another hostess, and I was like Hmmmm. A bit annoy lol The waitress were pretty nice. Though take her quite sometime to come back and check on us. I ordered steak with rare ( I know I'm an animal! Jk" but a bit disappointed that it comes out more like a medium-well done, but I didn't say anything. We also got the Salted Caramel Cake, soo good! Was nice overall, might come back.

Service is always great here, Happy hr at 9pm, appetizers Nd drinks half off. I rly liked their sampler plate and alcohol is always on point. The last server we had was very attentive, and customized our needs with food as well as drinks. Also reminded us about happy hour, so we wouldn't have to pay full price (:

  • Helene G.

The worst service! Server said they had to close our tab out or they had to work overtime. It was our choice. right in the middle of happy hour. Who does that? We were never offered water and when requested from a passing waitress the water tastes like toilet water. Terrible

  • Kimi T.

The food wasn't really good. I ordered steak and lobster wasn't very good. The waiter keeps trying to upscale asked if we wanted more and more. Very uncomfortable: So I had to go to the restroom and I guy in the front "where's the restroom"? The guy in front said "it's outside". There's no fucking excuse to talking to a customer like that. Later on he came over again and says "oh this table, oh and adds about (our waitress) she's my girlfriend" playfully. That's not okay, I'm never coming here again. I advise you to go get at Red Robin or Outback it's worth your money not TGI Fridays. Unsatified.

Made a reservation for a group of us, they even sent me a couple of text messages to confirm. The group showed up and they seemed to he surprised when I said we had a reservation. They tried to find a corner for us and put tables together. Food was not bad, but not the best neither.

I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE NEGATIVE MILLION STARS. HOPE THEY SHUT DOWN FOR NOT HAVING APPROPRIATE HEALTH AND SAFETY HABITS. Worst pace ever. I seriously have never encountered restaurant food so nasty and cold. Guess what my dumbass did? I ate it. I went on a lunch date with my boyfriend and we both felt disgusted by our goods but we still ate it anyway. In the middle of the night, I found myself throwing up gunks of the food I had eaten. Called my boyfriend to find out he was on the same boat. I'm still throwing up every fucking hour. Had to miss work and so did my boyfriend. Fuck this place. Cook your things right and wash your damn hands. Food positioning, really? I hope no one ever comes here again! Worst experience ever.

Good place to come to for lunch and some drinks. Costumer service could be better, but the food is good and nice clean place. Definitely recommend this location.

Called at 6pm to make a reservation for 3 at 7pm. The young lady on the phone said it wasn't necessary because they were "dead". When we showed up to the restaurant at 6:50pm it was crowed with several people in the reception area waiting to be seated. When we asked how long of a wait it would be for 3 people we were told 25-30 minutes.

Good service the waitress let us order from the Happy Hour menu at the table versus the bar. The Happy Hour menu is very limited/weak. They charged us for our friends birthday ice cream. WTF!

Server Ruben (?) was very good. (Friday night) Bar is very loud, and seats near bar are very loud. If come back ask for seating around outside edge. Food is pretty salty in general. BBQ ribs is good, better than steak. I should Get a full rack next time. Fries are good. Salad is normal. Oreo cookie madness is OK, nothing special.

My husband and I eat here at least once a week. We love the feel and the attitude of the servers. What I also like is that most of them recognize us from previous visits :). Servers here are attentive, management is always nice and welcoming. No matter what, we always end up here :). For many good reasons.

Quenching my thirst with a few spirits! #longbeachicedtea This is a fairly new establishment and super conveniently located off the 10 freeway. There are not many restaurants in the area, so having a restaurant/bar at this location is a PLUS!

I came here for my brother's birthday dinner with my family. Considering the large party (8 of us in total) we made reservations. This was the worst dining experience Ive ever had. They brought out our food and 5 of 6 steaks that were ordered (med/well) were literally raw, there was blood soaked in my mashed potatoes from the meat! After sending a majority of them back, they still came back extremely rare and also they brought the wrong steak. I personally sent mine back 3 times and by the 4th time when it came back and was still wrong (even after the manager stepped in) I just canceled my order. I am not a difficult customer but I was appalled by the service and attitude of the management staff at this particular tgifridays. They did make attempts to fix our constant issues, which I appreciate, but the fact was they just didn't. They made relentless mistakes and the waitress even brought us the order from another table at one point. I will not be back. It was very frustrating and disappointing.

The food is good, I'll give it that. Rating the place on the taste alone. However, be prepared to spend at least $25 per person. If you buy an entire meal for less than that, don't expect to be full when finished eating.

The first time I went to a T.G.I. Friday's was years ago, five or so, and it was to the one in West Covina. Seeing this place recently opened and having a bunch of coupons, we decided to try this location. On a Saturday night, parking was hassle free and the wait was approximately 25 minutes. We didn't want to wait so we decided to sit in the bar area, which included not only the actual bar counter, but also the high-top tables and stools surrounding the bar. While we mulled over the menu, I heard someone greet us, "Hey girls!" and I quickly replied "hi" thinking it was our server. Looking up, it dawned on me this wasn't our server, as this person was a large middle-aged man, wearing a green athletic v-neck. The three of us -- my mom, sister, and I -- stared at him in silence as he creepily smiled at us, then told my sister that she shouldn't be wearing earbuds and listening to music as she's in the company of friends. We continued to stare in silence. He smiled again and made his way back to his table, right next to us. His family (?), a woman and a little boy, didn't notice a thing. It was so weird. Over the course of our meal, he would stare at my sister and smile at her. Before he and his family left, he came over to tell my mom what beautiful daughters she had. SO WEIRD. Now that I'm done ranting, I can start on the food. T.G.I.F.'s menu is quite extensive, and we decided to get two mains and a dessert to share. Salmon Langostino ($18.99) yelp.com/biz_photos/t-g-… This tasty dish consisted of Norwegian salmon filet fire-grilled and topped with a sauté of langostino lobster and cremini mushrooms in a zesty roasted Alfredo sauce. We went with broccoli and baked potato as our sides. The baked potato was very large, which my mom enjoyed tremendously. Lobster Tails ($24.99) yelp.com/biz_photos/t-g-… Two 4 oz. lobsters seemed like a really awesome deal but they were tiiiiiny. My mom had the steamed one and said it wasn't fresh and didn't like the random seasoning they put on it. However, mine was grilled, fresh, and tasty. Freshness and quality wasn't consistent, so I'm not sure if I'd ever order this again. For our sides, we chose another baked potato and tomato mozzarella salad, which was very fresh and appetizing. Ultimate Strawberry Shortcake ($5.99) yelp.com/biz_photos/t-g-… Okay. So one of my favorite desserts is the Strawberry Shortcake from Dairy Queen, but they stopped making it at the location nearest me. It's been a couple of years and every so often, I get huge cravings for it, only to be met with sadness and disappointment that I can't get it anymore. Seeing this particular dessert on T.G.I.F's menu was such a beautiful moment for me because it's almost the exact same thing as DQ: pound cake, vanilla ice cream, and strawberry syrup. It was also huuuuge, served in a giant cocktail glass, and consisted of 3-4 ice cream scoops -- perfect to share among 3 girls. With our 25% off coupon, the total came to $41, including tax. The food is a bit tastier than standard American chain fare but a bit overpriced. I'd only come again if I had another coupon or during happy hour. Or if I'm ever craving that wonderful strawberry shortcake dessert again!

I've been to TGI Friday's over the years, but never had such a cool, friendly, and professional server as Victoria. My buddies and I went here yesterday for late lunch and they enjoyed Happy Hour. I'm not drinking alcohol nor soda this year, so I went along for the food. Victoria was on the ball and literally knew when to show up with refills and everything. I had the feeling she was an executive who wanted to do something fun outside of the corporate rat race. She was very well-spoken and knew how to relate to us from the start. We appreciated her tolerance of our loud and silly behavior, as I bet that could be trying at times. She was calm and never seemed to have to run too fast to catch up with things. She had everything under control and that was impressive. We will be back again, I am sure.

AVOID ALL TGI FRIDAYS! Appetizers taste like they were microwaved, service was slow, and they had the call to say that Samuel Adams beer doesn't count as a domestic beer. The experience would have been salvaged if my group was closer to the TVs to watch the game, then at least I could distract myself from how bad the experience was.

Service was really really good. Its my birthday Tuesday and he made me feel like a big deal! Lol. Food was ok. Every time I come i order the steak with lobster. Lobster always sucks. Like sucks sucks. :( Steak is like whatever. Drinks are always on point. Ask for Ricardo, hes the best!!

What can you expect from a chain? Not the most mind blowing experience. Food was typical. Drinks were just meh which prob explains why I don't come here unless it's convenient. Took 10 mins for the waitress tl bring back our cc which to me is not cool since it was dead and lord knows what could be happening with our cards in her possession. Shit like that still happens.

Long story short - average review for lack of apology, bad explanation/excuses/service, bad tasting boneless buffalo wings - would've been a 0-1 star review but I'm giving 3 because I've had some good times at this and other TGIF locations. Came to this place with my sisters tonight. We ordered 2 orders of bone-in buffalo wings, 1 order of potato skins, 1 margarita, 1 long island iced tea to start off. The server came back 5 mins later and said that they RAN OUT of bone-in buffalo wings tonight and asked if we wanted something else instead so we opted for the boneless version. RIGHT after he took our entree order, a different guy came over with bone-in buffalo wings and potato skins but only dropped off buffalo wings. We didn't touch it since we were told that they ran out of it and that it must belong to someone else's. The guy came back and said, "oh, you guys didn't order this huh? took it and put down the potato skin. So I asked, "So you guys still have bone-in buffalo wings?" and he said "yes", "but our server said you guys ran out of it?", he didn't reply and looked around. Our server ran up to him and said something to him and they went back to the kitchen. 5 minutes later the manager came out and said, "the bone-in wings just came out of the oven" "I thought you guys ran out of it?" "yes, they just came out of the oven" so I said, "Ok". Our server didn't come back AT ALL until we were ready for the check. So I confronted him: - "so you guys have the bone-in wings now?" and he said, - "yes, do you want to place an order now =} ?" - "why did you tell me that you guys ran out of the bone-in wings?" - "Well my manager already explained" - "We would've waited if you explained" - "We didn't have it at the time...I could get you some right now for free if you want" - "No thank you." We still tipped 18% against my wishes. Overall the whole situation put me in a bad mood--The boneless wings tasted worse than chicken nuggets; I felt like we were lied to; We didn't get an apology;Their explanation or excuses are bad so it makes you feel worse. We came for a good night out, not for your offer of free food!! I go to TGIF somewhat regularly but tonight totally ruined my day...me suggesting and bringing my sisters here hoping for a good night out but they end up seeing me upset. I was told to let it go and not to write a review and not to mention the server's name...well we left the place within 30-40 mins or so, I can spare some time to rant.

Came here after work, tired and hungry. It was tuesday i think. They happened to have a karaoke night. Some people just had too much liquid courage to sing off tune. The music was too loud. I know this is a karaoke night but too loud is too loud. I could barely have any conversation. Me and my bf waited for 15 to 20 minutes to be seated as all the servers were busy waiting tables and no host. At last a waiter seated us. It was pretty stressful but funny at the same time to listen to most people sang badly at the bar area. The food came slow but they came out good. Just like what we ordered. I ordered the brownie ice cream with caramel sauce at the end. Wew good lord it was way too sweet. I think the server or someone just went crazy on the caramel sauce. I guess it was for the super sweet tooth people. It wasn't drizzled. It was drenched. 2 stars docked. One for the long wait to be seated, one for the too loud karaoke you can barely hear your own voice when you talk. I will not come here on tuesdays. Ever. Again.

I don't get what all the hype is about. When this place first opened everyone within my social sphere was like ERMMMAHHGERDDD TGIF YUSSSS (that's how their voices sound in my mind). So I went to finally try it and... flop. Happy hour is confined within this teeny bar space, which is always ALWAYS crowded. You can't sit all the other empty tables OUTSIDE of the tiny parameters of their bar, else your happy hour special is void. I'm not much of a beer person, and their selection of drinks (for happy hour) isn't that great. I ordered the buffalo wings appetizer because.. how can you go wrong with spicy buffalo wings? Yuck. It was more sour than spicy, and the chicken mostly just felt like fat. The ranch didn't even stick. Think Denny's buffalo wings - also yuck. I've given this place a second and third try, and it's just not for me. Lame. I'd much rather go to Cheers or Rabbit Hole. Or Gyu. Geez.

Only reason I'm giving 2 stars would be because I absolutely love their jack Daniels sauce. But besides that customer service was the worst ever! Waiter took over half hr to bring out my meal and I mean I would understand if it's super busy but that was not the case at 12am. not once did he come to our table we even had to call him over to hand us our bill which he absolutely took his very sweet time to cash out!!! Ughh was very frustrating & disappointing i didn't catch his name but was a Hispanic guy with glasses won't be coming here anytime soon

My review for this location..1 star shy of perfect. But only because one dish came out cold and oily. Staff/service, happy nice on point from the time you enter till you leave. Order was taken and food came out in less than 15 minutes. Servers were good with checking in on anything that we needed. Restaurant was clean, big layout to choose where youd like to sit. Good happy hour deals especially on sundays!! (Happy hour all day) Overall experience was good and will be back again to check out the late night bar scene.

I used to go to TGI Fridays every sunday after church when i was growing up. I hadn't been living in a city that had one in almost 10 years, so I was super excited that after moving to LA, I was able to talk my friend into driving 45 minutes with me to get it. When we arrived, we were seated, and ignored. After 20 minutes, i got up and complained to the host, and he found us our waitress. We recognized her as the woman who had walked past us and looked at us at least 6 times. She only had two other tables. It was not busy. She was just walking around bored. She took our order, and then took another 15 minutes to bring us our drinks, and didn't even take the menus. We were never given or offered refills, even though our drinks were empty for most of the meal. A different waitress ran our food out to us, and none of the sauces that we requested were present, and the fries were HARD as if they had been sitting out for about an hour. We complained about the fries, and she brought us new ones, and they were the same. I have had your fries a million times before. This is not how they are. They were gross. I asked if you had Au Jus sauce for my steak, and the waitress had no clue what it was, and then eventually brought me out some other sauce that was not even close to au jus and claimed that it was. I signed up for the rewards program to get a free appetizer, and finding her to get that was like pulling teeth. When we were finishing our meal, she came up to us, interrupted, and rushed us out, saying she needed to clock out, so we needed to pay now. I have been looking forward to this for years, and it was the worst service i have ever had in my life. I looked for the fridays website on google, and found a ton of other reviews for the same location that said the same thing. What's going on?! I hope that you can do something to make this better. Fridays used to hold a big space in my heart, and now I'm not sure I ever want to go back. I tried to submit this via the website, and kept getting an error message. It's disappointing that your site does not even function well enough to hear my complaint. ***UPDATE*** I originally posted this to facebook, and was told that I would get a call from a manager in 1 or 2 days, and no one even bothered to call me, and nothing was done to improve the situation.

You know service sucks when your sitting at a dirty table. Asked someone to clean it up and it took 5 mins for them to come around and clean it. Then waited another 20 mins to see if anyone would give us a menu. That was a fail so I just walked out furious. Did I mention that there was no hostess to greet us??? All happened in the bar area. I usually like going to this TGIF but lately there service sucks!

I paid them a visit last week, and I saw something different from what I saw in my last visits. It was Wednesday in near midnight when we entered here for a late dinner. The server was super nice and accurate :). The food was well-done and great. We enjoyed our dinner that night. It was really great to see TGIF good again. I kinda like this one, but they had a very terrible service before (food is either burned or mistaken). However, I hope they already changed for the better.

Yay, more excitement to the Rosemead Plaza -- especially with this edition. Parking here is extremely easy, no need to stress or fret. Food was alright-- nothing too spectacular nor was it the worse, just because I'm not a super fan of American food. However, there is always good deals here. Well, a lot -- like the 2 for $20 deal. Service was SPECTACULAR. This probably the reason for the five stars, (and extra tips when I was dinning). Our blonde latina waitress was extremely friendly, along with her helpful suggestions on what to get and what not to get. I absolutely loved her, and the rest of the friendly staff. Overall, this wasn't my cup of tea, based upon my personal preference. However, the service and staff here were wonderful. And if I have a friend who is ever in the mood for American food, I'd totally take them here. Or if I just want a nice alcoholic buzz, since I do live nearby ;). I'm sure I'll see more of TGI Friday's soon. Turn Ons: - GREAT SERVICE.

My boyfriend's parents really like coming here on special occasions. I almost always get the same thing; it's either the garlic shrimp skillet (3 stars) or the Jack Daniel's steak & two sides (4 stars). Their appetizers are great! The Jack Daniel's Sampler is mouthwatering. Upon my last visit, I had the mocktail. Least to say, it smells like a real cocktail and I was jumping around for 3 hours after all the Red Bull in that drink. The reason for the loss of 2 stars is the service. There are so many tables available yet there is always a long line to get a table. It takes a really long time for servers to take your order, bring your food, bring the check, and bring dessert. The servers aren't very attentive and after finishing my mocktail, my glass, along with other glasses around my table were not refilled for the rest of the night.

Just went there an hour ago, waited for half an hour for a table for 2. Finally got a table then telling us if you're coming for the happy hour, you have to be seating in the bar area, which is first come first serve. So it's my fault that I didn't tell them I'm here for the happy hour. That's fine. Taking us to a table in the bar area that having been clean yet and promising it will be cleaned soon, but in fact the guest at that table just went to the restroom and came back... We had to go back to the lobby and wait for another seats again. When we arrived, we're happy and having fun before, but it's all been ruined and still hungry. We left of course and not planning to go back anymore. We have been there every month for years, it's a good way to let go your loyal customers.

Worst Fridays ever. Servers leaves after sitting us down. No new server is brought to us. Asked the manger for my drink. Asked the manager for our food. This is a new location and I was excited to see one open up more closer to the 626 area. Came here during a weekend when it just opened, so I didn't run into any crowd issues as the restaurant was pretty empty. FOOD QUALITY: For a restaurant that just opened, I'm sorely disappointed by the quality of food here .. Two things rang in my mind upon the sampler platter: the prized potato skins didn't feel fresh .. as if it was toaster-ovened. On top of that, I was disappointed that the potato skins were piled on top of each other such that the cheese would be touching the neighboring skin. When my burger came, half of the burger had fallen over and the ingredients were kind of scattered. I would have liked the brioche bun to be toasted to add firmness to the bread while remaining soft, and would have hoped the crispy chicken was actually crispy.. Korean tacos .. did not taste like korean tacos. The bits of meat were gritty and had very loose flavors that did not resemble cooked korean bbq meat. Tortillas weren't good either.. SERVICE: Service was actually nice and polite, just that I thought that they were kind of overstaffed since there were so many floating waiters and waitresses around doing nothing.. causing them to talk with each other for an extended period of time when customers needed things. ENVIRONMENT: Nice, clean, open, and good positioning of tables in the dining area. Overall ... The food here is subpar. Period. There is some good flavors but they aren't accompanied with the right textures or presentation. There is nothing in the food here that makes me want to eat here again, especially with the price tag that comes along with it.

I have to say this is the 3rd time coming to this place but first in Rosemead. We came as a party of 9 and I can not be more impressed with this place, there service was on point. From the greeting in the front to our server Raul. He was very attentive and very professional. I will definitely be visiting this place again. Raul is an asset to your company, he made my family feel welcomed. Thank you TGI

You kind of know what you are getting going in, but that really doesn't make it ok. Our server was nice enough, but the food here is simply garbage. My husband's steak was half fat and my ribs were blah. I know people come here for more than that-drinks, the game whatever. You really should have more respect for your bodies and your taste. To add to the annoyance, the waiters were moving tables around and screeching them across the floor right next to us. It's a factory. Avoid.

Cheap nightly happy hour where a "basket" of fries is $1.50! I don't know much about their menu besides the appetizers, so while this place is still new and clean, I wouldn't mind coming back for cheap drinks and half off appetizers. The sea salt caramel cake is quite good, though a touch dry in the middle. Service is very friendly.

Seriously I feel like half the staff is extremely helpful and sweet and half isn't competent and have bad attitudes. But all you gotta do is find the good servers and it's a party. Try a timchalada Tim makes them the best. The cheeseburger sliders are fabulous!

Just your average chain style restaurant. Stopped by for just a drink with friend. We sat at the bar and the staff was very friendly. They were very attentive and chatted with all the patrons at the bar. We didn't eat any food but some of the plates that we saw looked pretty good. My friends mentioned that they have good deals during games so we might be back on a Sunday to check it out.

Really bad service! If I had the option of giving no stars I would! The waiter we had was extremely rude. Once we arrived he walked up to our table and told us to "choose our food quickly so it's not a waste of his time". While asking for a refile on water he said "you need to wait because it is not my priority". Overall it was a horrible experience. They need to train their waiters how to speak to human beings with respect.

Came in with some friends last night to catch up and grab a bite to eat. Compared to other TGI Friday's, I feel like this one was louder. It wasn't horrible, but noticeable. Service was good, nothing special or notable. Food was pretty good. Being a vegetarian (pretty recently, 4 months is recent right?), I was worried about my choices. I used to love anything from the Jack Daniel's menu and the last time I was in (December), I loved the new burgers. For whatever reason, my mind was set on a burger this time too. I knew I could substitute a black bean patty on any burger, but when I saw the Sonoma Black Bean burger, I was sold. Everything about this burger was right. Start with the bun, it was fluffy and perfect. They give you the standard onion, tomato, and lettuce. The onion was perfectly strong, just the way I like it. Everything else was good. They then top it with a pepper aioli of sorts. Spicy, but not distracting. Creamy, but with a kick. There was also avocado. There's no way you can go wrong with avocado. No. Way. Let's talk about the main event, the black bean patty. Burgers are what made me hesitant to adopt the vegetarian lifestyle. I love burgers and Boca patties are horrid. The three vegetarian black bean burgers I've had at different places so far have been incredible (Fuddrucker's, Mohawk Bend in Echo Park, and Rounds in Pasadena). Friday's is no different. The patty was delicious. Black beans mixed with spices and bell pepper and corn (I could be mistaken). The outside was crispy, the inside was tender. It wasn't at all like any beef patty I've had, but I love it all the same. I really like the flavor and texture of the patty, really good. Friday's has always had my favorite fries. They're salty, peppery, and perfectly crisp. Yum!

Review based on my dinner experience on 9/26/13. My perception of this TGI Friday's has shattered. Here are my reasons: 1. We were told to wait even though there were open tables. There were servers standing in the front chatting at the hosting podium. I'm sure most of them were servers because the restaurant doesn't need 4-5 hosts to run a restaurant during dinner hours. Those servers obviously have the time to serve tables so how come my group along with others weren't seated when there were open tables? A server can roughly serve 4 tables and I saw some who were standing and chatting at the hosting podium which makes them look lazy and unprofessional. If servers have time to spare, they shouldn't spend it in front of waiting patrons. PLUS how can they properly serve people if they aren't seeing them from the perspective of the hosting podium? The podium is FACED AWAY from the restaurant. 2. The food wasn't good. I don't go to TGI Friday's often so I'm not sure if the food is consistently over fried to a crisp and pitiful looking across all TGI Friday's. I know that chain restaurants have a set menu with cookie cutter dishes but the food looked awful and didn't taste good. The patty of my burger was thin and smelled gamey. It had that cooked liver smell to it? If you want to wait for a table even though open ones are available, see severs not actively doing their jobs, and have a sad looking meal come spend your time and money here.

Thank got its Friday. If you haven't been to the newly open tgi Friday in Rosemead, you miss a lot. Anything with jack Daniel sauce is marvelous. Their signature baby back ribs is a must try dish. Don't forget the baked potato too. Every employee is happily with a smile on their face.

Food is alright, the best part of Fridays is the happy hour! You can't go anywhere else and get the amount of food/cheap drinks for a great price, but if you are going here outside of happy hour I don't think it's worth the money food is average at best. Desserts are bomb though..... Game days be prepared to wait a while!

I've been coming here for awhile now. I usually come for the happy hour and Oakland Raider games on Sunday. Can't complain about their 1.50 sliders and basket of fries. Their bartenders are really nice and attentive in seeing to it that your cup is always filled. They even remember your name. Kind of reminds me of the tv show Cheers. It's always a plus when they hook you up with free soda.. I usually tip them a little extra for their service.

I went to this restaurant to have dinner with my family and it wasn't a good experience. It took 20 minutes for us to be seated and almost an hour for them to serve our food. Once the food was served, the food wasn't hot either. It seemed to me that my food was on the counter waiting for my waitress to serve for awhile before it came to my table. Overall, this place has nothing really stand out. Don't come here if you like your food to be hot and freshly made.

Why I'm always giving this place another try? Beats me. The service is always slow when I go here. The servers are nice but they're never around when you need something. It took my sister and I approximately 15 minutes to get the check because our waitress was no where to be found. I ordered the chicken bruschetta pasta and I did not like it. The chicken was too hard to chew, rubbery. It had no flavor at all. In addition the pasta was too oily. My sister ordered the endless soup and salad deal for lunch. The soup wasn't bad, she ordered clam chowder. The bread it came with was really good. It was hot, soft and fluffy. I didn't try the salad but she seemed to be okay with it. I think only the appetizers are good here. I tend to enjoy the spinach dip very much. It's not too salty or cheesy.

Went here for lunch, and the lunch special selection was pretty good. Prices ranged from $5.99 to $7.99. Got the California Cobb Sandwich for $7.99, and it was delicious. They also offer all desserts $2.00 off at lunch, but got too full fromthe sandwich so did not get dessert. Wait staff here is really attentive and nice. Would definitely stop by again.

I have to give it a star or else I wouldn't give anything. This is by far THE worse TGIF! Not only the food was bad (not sure how you can messed up a smoked dish, but they did), the service was horrible as well. They basically just gave us our dish and walked off. We asked for refills on our chips and drinks and they never came back with it. We asked twice as well. The only time they came to us quick was when we asked for our bill, which they even over charged us by adding extra taxes on our bill. I've never had probs with TGIF before till we went to this one. They should be glad that we still tipped them. So my advice to you, don't even bother to try it.

I encountered a TGIF staff who stole my parking space. I was waiting for the parked car to back out when suddenly this car just drove into it and parked! I was the first and ONLY car in full view waiting for that space at that time. I honked my horn to let the intruder know that the space was mine. She just looked at me and as I was looking for another space, she ran into TGIF. She was wearing black and is one of the staff. I believe she is one of the hostesses. She vanished when I went in the restaurant looking for her. But, I still decided to give the restaurant a try. Dinner was supposed to be enjoyable, but sadly, she put me in a bad mood. My friends recognized her on our way out. But, at that point, I just wanted to get out of there. First of all, people should have manners! We do not live in a primeval world. TGIF needs to hire people who are not only good at customer service but who have manners! People who are rude shouldn't be working in the service industry.

My experience at this location was very good. We ended up coming here on a sunday night and to my surprise it was packed. Why? Because it was mother fucking happy hour all day. The whole happy hour selection is not bad. We ended up starting with some flat bread bbq chicken and WOW. Flavor was amazing. I ended up order the mini cheeseburgers and fries. The burgers were $1.50 each and were filled with flavor. I highly recommend it.

This was not a pleasant dinner all the waitress did was talk about her boys , and my second waiter tool the wrong order .My son got a very hard piece of steak and his shrimp wasn't cooked all the way. This was not a pleasant dinner for my son's bday.

Endless salad, breadsticks & soup for $6.99 during lunch....you seriously can't beat that deal! Their clam cowder is watery and flavorless, but their french onion soup is killerrrrrrr. Their salad is average, regardless, still fresh. For $6.99...im not complaining! I was also really impressed with their breadsticks. They came out warm and soft. They were perfect with the soup. I had to knock a star off because service was extremely slow.

Guess what my friend found in her food? A STAPLE... seriously, no lie. The manager compensated with her half eaten dish on the house and a dessert. So.. if you want your insides cut up and ripped out by a staple making its way through your system, this is where you want to go.

BLEHHHH... I seriously doubt I will ever come to this location again. I brought my little brothers here to try the happy hour specials since they've never come before. We were greeted by 4 overly eager hosts/hostesses/ barbacks/whatever the hell they were. That was seriously.. AWKWARD. We were then seated and asked for a round of waters. It took our waitress.. wait for it.. TWENTY MINUTES to come back with our waters. Which was completely fine, since we needed time to look oever the menu anyway. Except.. she didn't take our orders. She brought us our waters and rushed off to a table that just got seated. She took their drink orders, came back with their drinks, took their orders, took another table's drink orders, AND THEN came back to take our order - ____-" I would have seriously just walked out if my little brothers weren't so excited to try the food. We decided to just order a bunch of apps since they were all 1/2 off for happy hour. Our food: - Garlic Parmesan Wings with Ranch: Mehh.. These really didn't have too much flavor at all. They literally tasted like chicken. Which isn't a bad thing.. I guess.. - Scorching Hot Wings with Bleu Cheese: These were my favorite. I'm a HUGE fan of heat, and although these weren't atomic, they passed the heat test (; Paired alongside the bleu cheese, these were to die for ! - Caribbean Rum Wings with Ranch: These were REALLY SWEET. My little brothers thought they tasted like apple pie because of the cinnamon that was in them. LOLL I don't know if I would ever order these again. - Nachos Grande: These weren't too bad. I wish there was more cheese on these because the chips felt a little dry. But the flavor of the cheese sauce and chicken were pretty darn delicious. It came with one heaping scoop of guac and sour cream. Pretty awesome. All in all, I like TGIF. Just not this particular one, with the server who neglected us for long periods of time. It took us THIRTY MINUTES to get our waters refilled ! I had to flg down another server to do it, and all she did was get my original server, who took her sweet as time to get me my water. GRRRRR. How do I eat my food if my mouth is in dire need of hydration ?! Can anyone do this ?!

Came here for Mother's Day and was not impressed with the service. Maybe because they were down a cook or something but it took us a good 30 min after we ordered to get our food and we were one of the first ones there. Server didn't come to check up on us much so we couldn't alert someone about how we've been waiting for a while which made us a little annoyed just because we saw other people getting food that came after us. The manager did visit our table and she was kind enough to take some of our entrees off. When we finally did get our food it was pretty good. Maybe because I was starving but I was pretty satisfied. Everyone else was happy with their food too. This TGIF is somewhat new but I was a little surprised for everything to seem so hectic when the day just started. Honestly though, this probably isn't going to stop me from going to TGIF but maybe think twice about going to this one.

This location just opened recently and I'm sad to say the food is horrible. I ordered a clam chowder which was yellowish & looked like it came out of a can. It was not very tasty. My friend ordered the Cajun Shrimp & Chicken pasta and the chicken was not fully cooked. Disappointed to say the least. I also got sick that night. Very bad for such a large chain.

Not my favorite Fridays to go to but the closest one by my house. I had to wait 15 mins to have someone acknowledge and they didn't. I was sitting at a table top that was dirty and finally I walked over to the bar to ask the bartender if anyone was working the table tops. When I ordered food from the happy hour menu, it came out cold. The waitress was nice, but overall service sucks.

Came here last month with my family to celebrate my birthday. ohmygawd terrible service. We all ordered the steak with ribs. We waited a fairly long time approx. 20 for our food, but we were fine with it. However, what I wasn't happy with was that once everyone in my table received their food, the server tells my boyfriend really late that they ran out of sirloin steak and are trying to get more. Then she later offered a complimentary chip and dip. Also she didn't even wait him to order thing else and asked if he could wait for it. Later she lied and said she's going on break but ended up having the assistant manager "take care" of us while she was working the other tables. By the time his steak came (45 minutes later!!), everyone was done with their food and wanted to leave. Of course I called the manager if he could give a discount on his steak only because it was really unfair for him to eat alone while everyone is done. Apparently the manager wasn't in the office and I could tell the assistant manager didn't really want to give a discount but ended up doing so and took roughly 6 dollars off, which was fine. However he billed us for the free chip and dip. He took forever changing the bill and once he gave me the new bill, he looked me in the eye and told me "Do not take the tip out on my waiters". WTF?! Poor customer service and still wants me to tip well. Oh man... Food was mehh. Probably because I was heated most of the time. Please do not waste your time going for mediocre service and food.

Not too shabby!! I live around the corner from this location, and they are always still open by the time i get off work (by that time it's always happy hour) hoorayy! Off the numerous times that i've been there, we've only received less than mediocre service once. (and ironically while i was in the company of a friend who claims they've never experience good customer service there! haha.) On my last visit, we were taken cared of by a gentlemen named Ryan, he was very courteous and accommodating, and made sure to check up on us for seconds all without being too pushy. (which i appreciate.) The one thing i would NOT recommend there is their buffalo chicken wings! They are SO. SALTY. geesus. I was told that the garlic parmesan was worst.. i could only imagine. I usually like to order their spinach flatbread, their loaded potato skins, loaded nacho skillets, and their red velvet cake. (Which surprisingly tastes very buttery and non too dry.) I think this place one up Applebees down the street by their modern interior, courteous staff, and convenient location. It's right off the freeway after all. Ohh, and if you're a stripped club member, you get free chips and salsa upon arrival!

Fail after Fail... I took my friend to her birthday dinner and a couple of coworkers also joined, When we were seated the waiter took our drink orders which surprisingly took forever, They were still very delicious. Fail#1 : We all received our orders wrong and one at a time, I returned my hamburger which was done with cheese and I said no cheese because I'm lactose, And the birthday girl ordered nachos without jalapenos and she got them all covered with jalapeños. Fail#2 I went out to the front to tell them if they could have the waiters sing happy birthday to my friend, The host asked me who is your waitress And I told her the name which I wasn't pronouncing it correctly, So she said oh the "black" one! I said to myself wow that was racist. they came and they sang happy birthday and brought my friend Sunday Fail#3 After midnight it was coincidentally my birthday, And I was surprised With the one waitress coming and handed me a Sunday and saying I'm sorry but all the waiters left and they cannot sing happy birthday anymore, I looked at her and said well thank you I guess But my friend was Very upset because she told them to see me happy birthday. Fail#4 : 10 minutes later they sang happy birthday to a table across the bar, Then another 10 minutes passed by and they sang happy birthday again to another table. My friend was so annoyed . Fail#5 my whole Sunday Melted because they forgot that my friend told them not to bring me a Sunday instead to bring me a brownie because I am lactose . Fail#6 We were tired and now it was my birthday so we decided to go somewhere else we asked for the bill which took 10 minutes to get it and we were all charged wrong twice they came in twice they take the receipt back Because we were charged for other people's food. At the end we all just ended up leaving a bit unpleased with the service Ps when they picked up my melted Sunday the waiter wasn't paying attention and he dripped it allllll the way to the kitchen in the back , n had to out caution cones

This is my local place to grab a drink since its so close to my place. It's new, so everything looks new which is a good thing. They have big flat screen tv's all around the center bar. I haven't sat at the dining area yet but its a decent size. After a hard days of work, can't beat a drink at happy hour prices. They have happy hour from 3 to 7pm and then from 10pm to close. Most appetizers are half off, wine is only $4 and many other types of alcohol, beer at discounted prices. I usually come before 7pm or after 10pm to get a drink, relax and sometimes to watch the laker game here. The bar staff is very friendly and attentive. Their spinach dip is not bad. It's not houstons but not bad for TGIF. I also tried their wings and their mozzarella sticks, all not bad. Overall cool place to watch a game, grab some drinks and enjoy the happy hour menu.

It's corporate, I know...why come here? Sometimes I like structure, sometimes I like consistency. Corporations STRIVE on structure and consistency! Now, this review has NOTHING to do with their food! I don't come here for food! I come here for their happy hour drink specials, which I think, are pretty damn good. Their happy hour is pretty legit. Half off appetizers and very good drinks specials. Pair that with the best HH hours, in the biz. They've got HH everyday of the week, including, ALL DAY on Sundays! This location is new, their decor is new, I've never seen this look in any other TGIF. It's simple, but nice, the bar area especially. The bar tenders are very attentive, which I appreciate. Again, this rating is strictly for their Happy Hour at their bar! Food: N/A Ambience: 4 Service: 4 Value: 4

I usually come here for the typical American food I crave such as pasta, flat bread, or cocktail. I'm sure TGI Friday is a common place for the majority of the people and their menu is laid out in their website. The branch for this TGI Friday's provides great service and is not too busy whether it is weekday or weekend. I've been here several times and so far their service or food have not disappoint me especially with consistency. Recommendation/Favorites: [Appetizers]: Chips and dip, Cocktail (I find it a bit pricey on this), B.B.Q Chicken Flat bread, Bread Sticks (Good!!). [Main Dish]: Chicken Pasta (I forgot what is the exact name but they also have this dish on the weekday $5 menu. [Dessert]: Chocolate brownie with vanilla Ice Cream (I forgot the exact name). [Drinks]: Strawberry Lemonade (there is an extra charge for refills). Price: Same as every other American food restaurants. Depending on the food you order, the price varies. Although I feel the quality of the food is worth the price. **Some Current Specials to Check Out** (Please recheck on prices or specials): They have the $5 - $7 menu with half off on dessert or appetizer It is on the back of the menu and available at a certain time. I know that it is only available on weekdays but I do not know the specific time. I am usually there at lunch when I order the specials. Service: Great service since it is an American restaurant. Although I do wish they can add my rewards points to my member rather than giving me the receipt and telling me to bring the kept receipt next time so the points can be added in to my member. (I usually don't remember bringing the receipt). Joining their Member: They have this membership where you would receive points per receipt when you visit the restaurant. It is free. Just ask about their membership and their employee's will help you sign-up with provided information. I think it's a good opportunity to save or eat more if TGI Friday's is a place to be visited often. For every visit, just bring your member number or your membership card and show it to them for a free chips and dips and to add your received points towards your membership. There are also possible discounts or coupons emailed to you if email is provided during sign-up. Parking: It is in the Target/Bed Bath and Beyond Plaza, so plenty.

Awesomely horrible service. Ordered drinks and an appetizer, 10 minutes later we ordered our entrees. Got our drinks reasonably fast. 30 minutes after sitting down our appetizer and entrees show up at the same time. Thought it was supposed to come before the food? They set the 3 plates down and walk away leaving us with a table full of food and no silverware to eat it with. I got pasta. Can't eat pasta with my hands... 5 minutes later a guy walks by and drops off silverware. The appetizer was cold. The entrees were fine. Sitting at the table now waiting for the check.... Been waiting awhile... Take my money so I can get out of here already...

Came here one night and liked it so much that i suggest to come back. Which, i now feel stupid for. We waited 2 hours for 10pm to roll around for happy hour. We came and then was informed that happy hour is only in the bar area. We were also informed that everyone had to be 21. We had one person out of 6 that was 20. We asked if we could still be sat at the bar cause our friend who was 20 would not have drank anyways. He was our DD. The waitress had the manager come over and he told us that we could not be sat at the bar even though our friend was not drinking. If that was the case, i dont understand why they restrict happy hour to just the bar. What about the people who would like to enjoy half off appetizers that are not 21? Rididculous.

Ok I have come to this TGI Friday's a few times already, and each time I have hoped that the service/ food would get better. 3 out of the 4 times that I have gone, the experience has definitely been undesirable for me to consider coming back. I understand that on the weekends the place gets crowded and everyone wants to join in. I feel that this specific branch lacks in a timely matter of serving food. The servers have definitely tried to make the experience better by advising the status of the food prep. I think at the end of the day, they either need more help in preparing food from the kitchen or a new plan in terms of serving food faster. All and all the food is mediocre, but their drinks are good for the most part. ENJOY!

TGI Fridays is definitely one of my default happy hour spots. When I'm in a different town and not familiar with the local spots, Friday is it. They got a huge happy hour menu, the food is great. The margaritas are $5! What more can you ask for. Great spot to watch a game or catch up with friends. I rated this TGIFridays 5 stars because not only was the food and service great but the place was exceptionally clean and updated. Not sure if it was new or newly renovated but one of the nicest TGIFridays I been to. High Five!

Came here for dinner on a Sunday and were seated promptly. Ordered the appetizer + 2 entrees special. We waited quite a while for the food to be served, while the server came to us several times saying our food will be out shortly. We had the flatbread which was good, if you like a lot of cheese. We had a pasta dish with chicken that was surpringly tender and moist, but the pasta had too much chili oil and another chicken dish with rice which was quite spicy, but good. I got full from eating the appetizer and ate only 1/3 of my entree and took the rest to go since I was pressed for time. Food and service is alright and plentiful parking.

My co-workers and I wanted to go out for lunch since it's the first Friday of the year. One co-worker told me that we all enjoyed TGI Fridays and he advised us a new location open in Rosemead. We've been to a location in Covina and we all enjoyed it, so we assumed it would be a good experience. What ended up happening was the following: warm/cold food that has obviously been waiting for a long time, slow service from our waiter (Cory) and long wait times from getting our food and any additional time that we asked from our water. Yes, our waiter did apologize for the long wait times, but the slow service and the quality of the food could seriously be improved. My co-workers and I left the restaurant with barely a smile and slightly full stomach. A tip was barely visible on the table when we left. The management and corporate employees needs to take a seriously look at the new TGI Fridays location in Rosemead. There is a lot that needs to be improved as for customer service, quality of food and wait times.

I have only stopped in for a beer at happy hour. Drink discounts and half priced appetizers, but as I said, I've only had a beer so I can't tell you anything about the food. Widmer IPA. Goose Island IPA. Not a wide selection of beers, but as long as they have an IPA, I can't complain.

This is my first time try out T.G.I Friday's and I am impressed. I've only heard mediocre things about T.G.I but my mind is made up. It's a great and delicious place to eat. After arriving, there was groups of people wait for tables. After putting down my name they asked for my phone number so that I can get notified via text when my table was ready. My first thought was such an amazingly techy place. I was able to walk around the plaza to look around before my table was called. For the times I went, I tried the Cajun Shrimp Pasta, Baby Back Ribs, Skillet Garlic Shrimp. 2/3 of the items were good. The Cajun shrimp was as delicious as it looked. I highly recommend getting it if you want to stuff your face in pasta. My second choice is the Skillet Garlic Shrimp, which was filled with cheesy goodness that satisfied my appetite. As you can guess, the Baby Back Ribs were horribly dry and did not taste that great. Overall, the food was good and service was okay. Nothing to complain about. I can see myself coming to this place once in a while when I'm craving some creamy food.

We need a TGIF in the San Gabriel Valley so finally there's one here! We've been here a couple of times and yes, the waiters have messed up on our orders but we got a discount each time so it was ok :-). The atmosphere was pretty cool tool (I love the bar stools and the mini booths!!) It's not gourmet food...and it wasn't that bad so 3 stars it is :-). Service is HIT or MISS (MISS if you're using coupons). I will come here again for comfort food :-).

All 5 stars go to the burgers. Oh..the alhambra/rosemead/monterey park area desperately need some good American food restaurants. Thanks for opening one here. Came here twice in the last month. First time I ordered a chicken pasta, which was dry and not that tasty. I barely touched it.Took the whole thing home. My gf ordered the cheesy shrimp, which she said was too cheesy. Well maybe it's best for someone who is crazy about cheese. This was only a 3 star experience. Came here again on XMAS day cuz everybody else decent was closed. My bf and I ordered the Spicy Craft Beer-Cheese Burger* and the jack daniel's burger. Both are juicy, fresh, and absolutely DELICIOUS!! I think the Jack Daniel's Burger has become my new fav burger replacing Red Robin's bonsai burger. I loved it! My bf also thoroughly enjoyed his spicy burger and that's saying a lot because I can't remember the last time he was happy with his burger. Our server was very genuinely nice and attentive. We left her a very nice tip. (Yes people leave some extra on a holiday, please. ) Oh..both times I ordered hot water with lemon and honey. It tastes awesome(especially if you have a cold or sore throat) and it's FREE. I don't drink sodas and iced water just seems too cold sometimes. Now I've found a great alternative.

So glad they opened up another location but I think the services at this location isn't quite there yet. I love their sizzling Chicken and Cheese and when I go to the West Covina Location it comes out SIZZLING but the Rosemead location comes out not sizzling - a total party pooper...Either the services is too slow or they just don't know that its suppose to sizzle when it comes out. Services right now is a bit slow, looks like all the servers are in training and can't seem to remember anything you tell them but hey i love TGIF so I continue to come back. I think the best part about this location is they have Michael and Liana from the West Covina location working in the Bar again... Thank goodness! This TGIF would be horrible if the bar tenders were as slow as the waiters. If you want a fun Bar experience, just wait till Michael is Bartending. Happy Hour is awesome!

Regardless of the long wait list. I would come back to this location for a night out with friends. My friends and I went on a Friday night, we called 10 minutes before so we didn't have to wait so long. Still a 20 minute wait when arriving, would of been 40! After finally opening a location closer to 626 area, I recommend that you call before you head over. Environment: The restaurant is a little small, not too cramped but enough for kids to run around. It's clean and welcoming. It's loud but its more of a family/bar area. Customer service: It was GREAT. When arriving to check in at our call, the hostess was very pleasant to double check our names. (They aren't like other restaurants where you call in and when you get there they didn't put your name). Our waitress was really awesome and friendly. Even though the wait is long for the food, our waitress always came by to check up on us. KUDOS to her! Food: The food was so-so. Could be improved. It was completely packed and I suppose it was unexpected for the first Friday. I ordered the Rib-eye steak with lobster. The lobster was ok, steak was a little over cooked and dry. Parmesan fries were AWESOME :) not too much seasoning but just right. Beverages: The drinks took awhile to get to our table, but it was what got us to get started or else we would of gotten antsy about our food orders. There are different types of drinks, so its based on your preference. I got the waitress's favorite, Electric Lemonade. It was okay, but its pretty! Haha Overall: Due to the long wait on getting a table and foods/beverages. Understood that it was a high volume of customers. The customer service overrode it. KUDOS!

For this just opening 5 days ago (my visit was Friday 12/14/12), I couldn't be more impressed! The service was friendly, and the food was pretty bomb. Loved the spinach dip appetizer. Unfortunately, I ordered the potato skins for my meal, and they were poor quality to say the least. There was barely any cheese or bacon on them and the potato was pretty dry! I could have gotten better quality TGIF potato skins in the frozen freezer isle at the local grocery store. :( I ordered the Ultimate Electric Lemonade which is always perfect at any TGIF's I've been to. (Not the typical watered down alcoholic beverage like most restaurants serve these days) The bf, ordered The Pepper Crusted Pork Chop which he liked and wished that there were two of instead of one. His side of mashed potatoes were reaaaally tasty and moist!!! But what topped the dinner experience was the Whiskey Cake! TO DIE FOR! and I'm not even a fan of cake!!! It was a warm toffee cake topped with pecans and a Jack Daniels whiskey butterscotch with a side of vanilla ice cream! Yummy!! (I even think I might favor it over my one and only favorite dessert at BJ's... the Pizookie!! (*Gasp*) Our server on this evening still didn't have the menu memorized, and she was pretty forgetful when we asked for waters and certain other items, but I don't knock her for that. (She's still learning!) She was very friendly and quite funny tho. Other servers and managers were constantly stopping to gather dirty plates, offer to refill drinks, and check in on us as they passed our table. There was a 45 minute wait that went relatively quickly. The ambiance of the restaurant is more modern than most TGIF's I've been to in the past, and albeit loud inside... I enjoyed myself. It would be great if they could add more seating inside for people waiting, but overall I enjoyed the evening, and look forward to going back soon!

Great addition to Rosemead. They need more bars in the area. It's a big restaurant, but i think it's a bit crowed when it's busy. My waitress was nice but a bit slow. But I'll give them a break, since they just opened. I'll be back in a few months when they are more established.

Nice to finally have a bar/grill in the city of Rosemead that stays open late. Decided to stop in for a late dinner. Ordered the Jack Daniels rib eye steak. Food took about 30 min to come out. I asked for medium n got well done. The bartender was cool and offered to have the kitchen make another one, but said it'd take another 20 min at least. Place is brand new n clean and overall the service was good. Kitchen just needs a lil more training....

This tgif is okay, thats all I can say about it pretty much. The food is okay not fantastic and not bad. I usually come during happy hour because most of their menu is pricey for what you get. I would give it a higher score for happy hour but the last time i came. They gave me literally all drumstick part of the wings with literally no wings.

Nice decor. Lunch time was slow and service was good. Lunch menu isn't bad for the price. Happy drink specials look good.

Want my review? There's a Del Taco on the other side of the fwy. After waiting for about 30 minutes I asked a passing waiter to please check on our food. Surprise, surprise, he brought it over right away COLD! I guess our server forgot she was on the clock. We ordered simple margaritas on the rocks. Simple right? we ended up sticking with water. Oh, don't trust the menu photos. The clientele? Lets not even go there! Bottom line: Lousy second grade food, bad drinks, TERRIBLE service and OVERPRICED!

Maybe because this place is brand new the service is still on the slow/unorganized side. I waited at the bar for at least 5 minutes to get a drink. Now normally five minutes is not bad, but there was no one else waiting and like 3 bartenders behind the bar. The bar is huge by the way too. Food was typical chain restaurant American fare, the waiters were very polite and friendly, and the atmosphere is loud with a mix of families and the drinking age crowd who like to "party" at TGIF's. I was there with a group, so I didn't pick the place, and if I go back it will probably be under these circumstances too as I'm not really the TGIF type. Hopefully their service improves and gets more streamlined.

Typical TGIFs. Got seated quickly on a Sunday afternoon, not a lot of peeps there even though a game was going. Server was pleasant and patient as my friend and I were taking forever to get our orders together because we were chatting (hadn't seen eachother in a few months) Kept the beverages coming, was attentive without being annoying. Only 'meh' thing was we were seated way back in a dark corner kind of near the kitchen/bathrooms when the tables by the windows were completely open, but it's not a big deal really just a minor buzzkill in the grand scheme of things.

worst place ever .. from the hostess alex to the manager sal .... manager & hostess were so rude .... we waited for an hour to be seated ....... after they said 30min wait ........ will never return ....

Slow staff. Appetizers take half an hour. Main courses take an hour. Drink refills don't come unless you remind them five times. Don't be generous with a tip if they don't deserve it.

Went today because the all day Sunday Happy Hour included the Dining room area. Half off the appetizers was cool It was okay nothing special, the Salmon was dry and overcooked, waited and waited for my margarita which came half way into my entree. Our server was nice, but the majority of the staff looked like they had a stick up there a**

Omg I will not come here again. I repeat and rephrase.......... I refuse to come here again (not even if the foods for free). Came here few times when it first opened and the foods was amazing and service was amazing. It was Friday night too when it was crowded. I think the management changed. So come a year later and it was Thursday night (not even dinner time) and service sucks so bad!!!!!!!!!!!! We waited literally an hour for our food to come out (which was fine if it was crowded or if the waiter acknowledged it and just told us straight up), which none happened. So an hour into it and I got antsy and asked the waiter what was going on and he said "Oh we're short staffed" and I'm looking around to see like so many waiter/waitress standing around doing nothing. But I was still being nice and patient and figured they're probably short a cook or two. But then we were trying to get refilled on drinks and I lift my hands up so many times that it got so numb and tingling like I was gonna have a heart attack. Anyways the worst part was the end where I asked for the check. I'm not exaggerating with you guys and girls. I had to wait 30 minutes and the waiter was just walking around like a chicken with it's head cut off, except he wasn't doing anything. So finally pushed comes to shove and I reached my boiling point and stood up and found the Manager who happened to be standing by the register flirting with another staff who's a busboy. At least she did apologize and took care of the matter right away so I didn't wanna yell at her. I didnt yell at the waiter either because he was a nice guy. Good thing he didn't have attitude or I will break some chinas (plates and glassess that is). At the end of the day....... the foods are still tasty and delicious but I don't care. It's not worth the sucky service :(

Came here for the second time and was with my boyfriend. We went for the endless apps but were disappointed when the server said that we couldn't share and we ended up not getting it. I was trying to be really nice but she took forever with all of the food. We waited for about twenty minutes before she took our order. But before that she came every two minutes. It was really frustrating. What's worse is the fact that after we got appetizers she disappeared and took forever to get us refills and our actual meal. And I would understand if the restaurant was packed but it was ridiculously empty. The only thing that made it better was the fact that the food was exactly what i was expecting. It was delicious and so was the company. But it took her just as long to give us the check and remove plated from our table. We waited for fifteen minutes before she took and returned our card. I hope next time i don't see my waitress with another table more than I see her with mine.

Every time I go, I have a pretty bad experience. I will literally drive all the way to West Covina next time if I'm craving Fridays. The first time I went (they had just opened) the spinach dip was stone cold in the middle. The second time my burger was completely bloody inside... And I love my meat practically moving but not for a burger... The third time I went for lunch thinking it would be better because it wasn't busy, the food TOOK FOREVER. My friends chicken tasted like a rubber tire and they messed our bill. I tried with this restaurant but I have no idea how many more times I can go and be disappointed

As a regular at the West Covina TGIFriday's location, we were definitively looking forward to the new location in Rosemead. Finally got to try it. We arrived just before the evening crowd so we were seated right away. Staff is super friendly and upbeat. Staff was constantly going around sweeping and keeping the place clean. Our waiter was really nice and friendly. Now to why I had to give this at 2 star review: - Hubby's raspberry ice tea tasted very tappy - Two out of the four utensil sets had food caked on it (waiter quickly & happily replaced it though) - Food took way too long to come out - When the food did come out, you could tell that it had been sitting under the lamp way too long. Top half of my cajun chicken & shrimp pasta was all dried out, you couldn't tell there was alfredo sauce until I mixed it up (other than that, flavor was good). Hubby says his steak was the saddest looking steak he ever had, and I agree! It was thin and dry (probably from sitting out too long under the heat lamp like my dish), good thing though is that it was not over cooked so it was still edible. Final verdict: We feel that this location just needs some more time to get all their kinks out. Since we are fans of TGIFridays, we will definitely come back to give it another try. Hopefully the next time around I can give this Rosemead location a much better rating.

Tips: -Free appetizer with check-in! -Free chips & salsa if you sign up with their free rewards program online -Happy Hour is 3-7PM & 10PM-close Mon-Sat, All day Sunday (half off appetizers except platters+seafood, $3.50 domestic beers, $3 bottled beers, $4 well drinks/wine, 3 different $5 cocktails, and a few other goodies) -20% off fliers are sent in the mail along with local grocery store fliers -3 items for "$25" deals (you can add-on or opt for a higher priced option), which includes an appetizer or dessert plus 2 entrees. I gave this place 4-stars because we had such exceptional service! Our waiter was great about checking in on us and refilling our waters. We left him a nice tip for his awesomeness! The food was pretty good too! Food: -Buffalo Hot Wings Appetizer ("$9.99"-- free with check-in!): The sauce was seriously the best I've ever had! The wings were a tad bit over done, but the sauce definitely made up for it. Comes with your choice of ranch or bleu cheese & carrots + celery. -Spinach Florentine Flatbread Appetizer (3 items for $25): Crispy, crunchy, not too cheesy, and delicious! Definitely a good alternative to heavy pizz. -Balsamic Glazed Chicken Caesar Salad (3 items $25): I was looking for something more on the light side since I knew we were going heavy on the appetizers, and this salad hit the spot! Crunchy croutons, sliced baby tomatoes, chicken, fresh lettuce, and a really good dressing! -Dragonfire Chicken (3 items for $25): My boyfriend ordered this, and I had a few bites and it was delicious! I love jasmine rice, and the sauce on top of the chicken was so good! The veggies were a bit undercooked, but I like them crunchy! Order it! I'd come back again!

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and immediately seated. Service was excellent here (the waiters often asked us if we needed anything), but I feel that the price was just WAY too expensive for the portions served..Two small sides and a main course dish could run you for $20, and you might still be hungry afterwards! I ordered steak and some shrimp along with a baked potato and coleslaw. Did I already state that the sides were SMALL? The small coleslaw that I ordered literally came in a tiny bowl that was probably 2 inches in diameter and height. There were only about 5 pieces of shrimp. The steak was about 6-7 inches, and lastly the baked potato was three quarters the size of the steak (~5 inches)... All for $20. The reason that this place earned 3 stars was that the quality was quite decent and tasty, although I would rather pay much less for moderately lower quality food but larger portions. Just my two cents as a poor college student.

There's no half or no stars? Ugh I hate complaining about service but this was just SO freaking bad!!!!!!!!!! After debating with my family where we were we going for dinner we decided here *worst Sunday funday dinner idea :( * but since its happy hour all day every Sunday, we thought why not. Sooooooo..... It's a group of 6 of us and one child. No the restaurant wasn't packed. As the waitress (Leticia) took our order we order drinks as well (two glasses of beer, a modelo, a blended margarita another on the rocks a chocolate milk and a coke) we each ordered two appetizers expect my dad who ordered an entry. Oh and we ordered a soup and two salads which she offered to bring before the appetizers since that's what we were eating as dinner. Lets start with the drinks both margaritas were watered down bc the ice was melted the blended one was so melted you can see a later of water at the top of the drink. The beer look like someone drank out of them because there was no foam at top plus they were warm. Obv our drinks were sitting there for a while. And the coke and REGULAR milk were brought out 20 mins later. After 30 mins our salads and soup come out.... With two orders of wings which were suppose to come out with everything else -.- then another order of wings come and they were the wrong ones. Instead of saying sorry, Leticia comes to the table and told my brother you said you wanted to try the boneless garlic parmesan it's on my pad. She opened it up and to HER surprise he ordered bone-in BBQ. Still no sorry...... Half of our table had food for about another 20 mins until finally the other plates came out. Still then we were missing an appetizer and when in came out 10 mins later it was cold -.- Not once did she ask us if we wanted anything else to drink. We asked for waters that took her 20 mins to bring out. The table next to us had asked for an iced tea when she had brought it out for almost 20 mins they reminded Leticia and she said "sorry the bar is backed up but ill bring that to you" UM...... There's a separate drink station were the WAITERS/WAITRESSES fill the drinks not the runners not the managers not the hostess and definitely not the bartenders. Lets get it together babygirl! I'm done :)

TGIF is the place to go for happy hr! They have amazing deals on food and drinks! I wanna give a shout out to Shaun, my server when my bf and I were dining in the bar area! Shaun is one of the best servers I've ever had! He kept checking up on us during dinner and was just extremely positive! He even sneaked in cake and ice cream on the house for my bfs birthday! Overall, great experience and will come back again!

A fan because I had a really cool waiter for the graveyard shift & I felt like I had awesome service with my F4 ;) (K-Drama REFERENCE LOL.)! The waiter I'm not sure of his name, because it's been a few hrs and I can't remember!! (poor name memory) He's like bald and he he had a very enthusiastic personality, vibe, and he gave us really good service! The place wasn't empty there was people sitting around 11ish till 1. So I could of checked in as my first time being there, but I didn't! I totally forgot! (Super Bad yelper eep.) But yeah! I The F4 ordered Wings, Nachos,Artichoke dip and I cant remember I think that was all? But I'm pretty sure there was another plate that I can't remember! Pros- Restroom clean and supplied, hooked up on the chips for my dip, fast service, chilled service, helped us took a picture, chill environment, cool design like you know how it is designed inside the restaurant, good parking. food portion was filling, decent pricing (compared to California Pizza Kitchen and what not.) Cons- Tortilla chips were too salty! I WASN'T OLD ENOUGH TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HAPPY HR :,( ONE MORE YEAR GUYS LOL!! & I hope you guys experienced what I experienced!

I went here in hopes that since it's a new restaurant that it might be better than what I experienced years ago in West Covina but it still sucks in my opinion. I got food poisoning years ago from the shrimp so I went ahead and tried the lobster with ribs that came with sweet potatoe fries and slaw this time. Lobster was good but small, ribs were just ok but fatty, the slaw was gross very dry and the fries were over done but ok. My bf had a sandwich that was very dry and said it was just like subway! He didn't get much fries either (like 14) so he didn't get full. Just missed happy hour as well so it wasn't worth the price that's for sure. We had the spinach dip which is good but too expensive for a little serving as well unless it happy hour. They seem like they have good deals for happy hour drinks but I rather go else where since the food sucks. I rather go to Applebees in Tempe City down the street quite frankly. Service was good tho but not a fan of Friday's overall I guess and never will.

I've only been to T.G.I Friday's twice and the first time was a long time ago. The second time reminded me why I never came back. I don't understand how anyone can come here and feel that it's worth it. The food in my opinion, is overpriced for the portion. It's really small and isn't that great. Both times I've been here I haven't been full and left still hungry. The steak here is the worst thing I've ever had. I asked for medium rare and it came out well-done. The meat is dry and tasteless. The wings here are decent, but one order of it is barely anything and makes it just not worth ordering. Hopefully I learn my lesson after the second time and remember not to come here again.

    (1)
  • Christine S.

Horrible food and service. Asked for medium rare ribeye and they brought it well done. Took 25 minutes for the server to ask us what we wanted to drink and another 20 minutes for is to find the server to bring us the check. At 4pm with downtime, the table next to us ( which was empty when we got here) still wasn't cleaned. I understand the location is new but staff should not be put on the floor unless they were trained to be at least attentive. For the service plus the ridiculous price for the less than mediocre food, I will not be back.

Waiters or waitresses are either drugged up on adrenaline or everyday is really Friday. Either way, good stuff! I know they have a happy hour menu and time-frame but it's just basically 24/7. Full stock bar with super low prices, new go-to place for eats and drinks

    (5)
  • Lina M.

Great servers and customer service - they are attentive and friendly. Happy hour specials on 1/2 off drinks and food are only applicable when seating in the bar area. Advertisement does not specify this, found out after we ordered :/ gotta love their sliders and mozzarella sticks!

The mixed drinks here are really hit or miss, and that's so disappointing for a Friday's. I like the atmosphere and the food is pretty decent. This is a good place to chill for late night happy hour.

I've never been to Tgif before and when one popped up in Rosemead I decide to check it out. The food is nothing to brag about and it was not exactly cheap too. I'd would rather drive further to go to Claim Jumper. The service was ok. I do like the rewards program!

You know what's wild about this place? All day happy hour is served all day on SUNDAY --- not FRIDAY. So why would I be thanking god it's Friday brus? Well, I mean I always thank god that it's any day because I love being alive, you know? Positive radiant energy beams and shit. But, honestly, the cheapy boy in me thanks god that it's Sunday whenever I'm feelin' some ULTIMATE Electric lemonades or ULTIMATE Long Islands or ULTIMATE mojitos. I am not sure in the slightest why they are ultimate. Maybe it's because they all have BOMBAY gin? I dunno why I'm ALL CAPSing some things. Sorry, I'll stop. Any way, the above named drinks are 5 bucks. Yeah, I can be informative if I want to be. I obviously came in this past Sunday and loaded up on the happy hour options. I am a frugal filipino after all (no I'm not -- real filipinos would call themselves pinoys or some thing). Copped the $5 boneless wingz which were a decently sweet deal. The mozz sticks and potstickers ain't really worth it tho. I mean, yeah, they're technically appetizers so you shouldn't be expecting mountains of food any way but you literally get six pieces. SIX PIECES. I had to caps for emphasis, fuck it. Basket of fries is okay but it's just a basket of fries. They on the salty side too. Bottled beers are $3.50, I think domestic beers are $3? I got myself an Angry Orchard apple cider because I been on the hard cider tip these last coupla months. I dunno why. It's just so much more drinkable than a regular beer to me (ay don't think me a pussy bru, I drink IPAs and str8 whiskey yaheard --- seriously, I do, but sometimes I just want a dry, sweet cider). An ironic thing is that the w0rld fam0us potato skins taste worse than the TGI potato skin flavored chips that you can cop from your local grocery store. Seriously. Go try it and compare. Guy Fieri owns this place and so it gets 3 stars. Or so I've heard...

The 2 for $20 is kinda on the weak side, so I had the sizzling chicken and mashed potato platter. The chicken was juicy, potatoes were amazing, and the mixed veggies complimented the meal very nicely. However, I think this place is kinda overpriced, but other than that this restaurant is pretty good. Bar looks fully loaded. Enjoy :]

Took my mom here today and we had a pretty good lunch. Staff was friendly; our waiter Christian was very nice and attentive. Food took a while but arrived warm which was perfect for me. I ordered the pepper-crusted pork chop with jasmine rice for my mom and she liked it (she's usually very picky). I had some kind of chicken pasta and it was okay, not fantastic, but nothing a little tabasco couldn't fix. Overall, it was good. I'd probably come back to try the Jack Daniel ribs.

Good place to come for Happy Hour!!! Happy hour is from i think 4-7pm? and then 10 pm - closing. Appetizers are 50% off!! good deal!!! Sliders are 1.50 each!!! BUT! according to the waitresses, you can only get these happy hour prices at the bar area. It does get crowded late nights .. so come early? oh! $1.50 for a basket of fries to munch on while catching up with your friends!! All of their appetizers are decent.. I like the potato skins with cheese and bacon appetizer dish.. SOOO GOOD.. Their BIG GINORMOUS Margaritas are $5.00.. good deal!! I also had their Washington Apple cocktail drink.. tastes pretty darn good too.. will come back in the near future for HH. Parking is absolutely not a problem.. many parking spaces.... OH! and if you do get all tipsy and buzzed from the Happy-houring.. u can also hop over to IHOP (right by there) to sober up and have some pancakes to sober up?.. mmmmm

I went here during my lunch break. I often go to sit down restaurants on my lunch break and have plenty of time to spare. This was not the case here. My friend and I placed our order as soon as the waiter came to the table to greet us. I let the waiter know we were on a lunch break. He came over three times to tell us our food would be right out. Twenty minutes later our food finally came out. My steak was over done and overall I was disappointed with the food. I may go back for happy hour when time is not a concern, but this will definitely not be a place I frequent again for lunch.

I have only been to this new location twice and the first time was not great. I ordered a drink along with the people that I was there with but for some reason theirs was brought out but not mine. Okay no biggie, I just sipped from my bf and thought mine will come after but I should have realized that strawberry lemonade should not take longer than an electric lemonade. Then I guess the server messed up orders and brought us another table's appetizer, it was what we had ordered and we thought it was weird that it came out so fast and we even said so but he put down the food anyways. Our waitress realized his mistake after and came to our table to tell us: "You guys knew that was wrong." Rude, don't blame us for your servers' mistakes. I brushed it off because everyone else was like yeah we thought so, we haven't touched it take it back blah blah. So I finally had the chance to ask for my drink again, and she asked what I had ordered so I said strawberry lemonade and my friends ordered more drinks for themselves. She quickly comes back with "my drink" which is now a lemonade, not gonna push such a little thing so much so I drank it without telling her anything. I should have just ordered water. My last experience with them was much better, I recently went again for a friend's birthday and it was 12 of us in the bar area at a round table, they need to get bigger tables in the bar area but they did great with accommodating us. We had no issues with our server, no messing up of orders and our drinks kept coming quickly. This time I was happy that there's a new Friday's closer to home. Happy hour is Mondays to Saturdays in the bar area only 3 to 7 I think then 10 to closing BUT on Sundays it's all day in the bar and dining area, I know when I'm going again :)

Second time here. Thought I have them a try again. Big mistake! My friend and I order steak. Both medium rare. One steak was right and the second one is medium well. Had it remade. Took forever to get to us. Had to ask about our appetizer cause that didn't come out either. Appetizer finally came out and my entree is still not here. by now my friend's food is cold and we still can't eat. Staffs are new and not very well organized.

Believe it or not, this is my first time to TGIF. So i was excited to give this place a try since we go to Cheese Cake Factory all the time with my teenagers. We ordered the chicken and shrimp Cajun pasta (3stars), Dragon chicken (3 stars), cheese Berger (3 stars), and the brochette pasta (2 stars), We ordered the cheese with spinach flat bread (awful! no stars! the bread was very dry and brittle. it wasn't crispy or soft! the mozzarella is 3 stars. Over all, it was OK. price is cheaper than cheese cake but the portion is smaller

I know this restaurant is fairlynew but isnt it a corporate concern when the only quality service I received was at the door? Where someone opened and greated me politely. Other than this, the 2 hour supposedly 2 for 20 meal deal was TERRIBLE! Everything I asked for took forever. My $6 alcoholic bvg, my appetizer, my entree, my refill, my condiments, and the list goes on.. even while I was trykng to get out of there the waitress took an hour to bring the check.. and tben when she finally brought it.. they didn't charged me the 2 for 20.. the bill came to $50+ for two drinks and the 2 for 20.. ridiculous much? Can someone say better business bureau? Well.. wont be coming back here for a few years.. back to the West Co location it is.

I agree with the 3 star rating. I've been here twice. It's mediocre food and service. I ordered Jack Daniels flat iron steak. Medium was a little more than medium. The tomato mozzarella salad that came as a side was good. The staff at the door greeted us when we got there but not when we left.

Ordered the skillet garlic shrimp and was not so great. Their fries are good and so are the burgers. I would give 3.5 for the burger, but a zero for the service. The service truly was incredibly bad!!!!!! Te lack there of. Our waitress disappeared in us for 20 minutes!!! We could not get out check to leave. Asked another random sever who said would go get our server, another 10 minutes gone by. I had to go to the hostess out front to get someone to get us our check and that alone took another 10 minutes... What!!! Our waitress came by and said management changed her area an did not move our table to someone else. So basically, we had no server that while time, which explained the reason why the 20 plus staff standing around chatting couldn't give us out check when we asked for it.

I ' m glad they opened this restaurant in Rosmead, i went there, the food was great, the steaks delicious and they have Happy Hour all day Sundays,,.one of the best things is the atmosphere is very nice. The prices are kind of expensive, except the 2 for $ 20 dinners including an appetizer. Those are very good dishes , including the shrimp cocktail, I HATE THE NAME OF THE RESTAURANT, because for me every day is Friday, and all days are beautiful.

trying to make this my group's new hang out spot since bar louie closed down.. this is closer to me and the food is not bad.. the staff is great.. they have this rewards thing that you can sign up for that gives u free chips n salsa everytime u go.. the chicken wings are a steal! about 9 pieces for 5 something (hh price) hh is pretty awesome.. only bad thing is the table set up.. the tables are too small for their big dishes.. and there's just not enough room after u order one of everything and 4 of the chicken wings plus rounds of beers!

My first two experiences coming here, the waitresses would forget what we asked for sometimes. My family believed that maybe it was because we came right after the rush hours ended so the workers were tired. The food was alright. Normally, I don't write reviews unless I find something really great to talk about. By the third time we came again, the food was still the same. However, I must mention the great service of our waiter, Ricardo. I've eaten at many restaurants, and I just have to say--Ricardo is manager material (and that's not an exaggeration)! He checked up with us often, asking if we needed anything. A lot of things happened where TGIF did make us unhappy at some moments, but Ricardo always made sure to make up for it. We made sure to give him a good tip :) I hope TGIF gets name tags for their waiters/waitresses soon, it's a shame if, in the future, I'd like to point out another good person but not know their name :(

This is a newer location that I would visit again. Friendly and welcoming staff. Prices are as expected for this type of establishment. I really liked the layout of this location. Food took a bit longer than expected but that's OK. Plenty of free parking in their lot, which is shared with other retail stores. This is a great addition to this part of Rosemead.

Ok place, not like the TGI Fridays I've been to in the San Fernando Valley. We went in on a Sunday night at 8pm and the place was packed. I looked forward to a great meal since there were so many people, but I was not impressed. I came with my two kids, one who needs a high chair. When I spoke with the hostess I said, 4 people, as I was holding my little one year old. She put us down and said it would take 30-40 minutes. Ok, no problem. After waiting about 30-40 minutes we were walked over to our table. It was a booth without the ability to have a high chair. Great. So I was offered to wait for another table or take this table and they could give me a booster. I chose to get a booster. Then our waitress comes, takes our drink orders, one was a kids chocolate milk. Then another waitress comes, says she's our waitress and asks us for our drink order. We explained someone already helped us and the previous waitress comes up. They start going into some lame comedic routine about tables and competing and their laughing and smiling. I wasn't smiling. I felt like saying, "shut up and get our order, I don't care who had the table, just take our order and go away." Anyway - out comes one of our mixed drinks and two sodas but no chocolate milk. According to the waitress the bartender has to mix the chocolate milk so it takes time. Really? Seriously? You can make a freaking mixed cocktail but you can't make a chocolate milk? What a joke. In conclusion our food was ok, not great. I ordered the Jack Daniels grilled chicken plate with steamed broccoli and sweet potato fries. Nothing spectacular for the cost. My daughter, the older one - not the one year old, mentions to our new waiter (did I mention the previous waitress came up and told us she was going on break? whatever) that it's my birthday. The waiter smiles and later comes out with two scoops of ice cream and says, "here, for your birthday" My daughter was so disappointed, she wanted the singing and clapping, nope, didn't get it. I won't drive out of my way to come here, I live in the SF valley so I have no interest in going back.

Since this is a chain, i have been to many Friday's across the country. This is by far the worse service I have ever received. I was exited to find one near my home. My husband is a stripe member and he reached enough points to get a free entree. We waited to be seated, about 45 minutes. We agreed to that. No problem. We were seated and our waitress came within a reasonable amount of time given the crowd. We placed our order, soup for me and the 2 for 10. A Reuben sandwich for my husband. She took his stripe number and came back later to inform him that he gets chips and salsa. Some one else delivered our meal rather quickly, no soup, no chips, both of which should have come before the meal. She came back and asked was every thing OK. Then she asked my husband if I had received my soup. He told her no. She left and returned with the chips and salsa but not the soup. I told her I did not want the soup. She apologized and told us she had removed it from our bill. My husband then ordered the fall spirit. It is a flight of four different flavors of whiskey. We were nearly done with our meal and we had not received our drink. I told my husband that if she did come back to check on us, have her remove that from our bill as well. She finally came back without the drink in hand and he asked her what happened. She said she was going to check. We waited another ten minutes before she brought the drinks. She gave us the tasting card with the description of each drink. As I work my way through the flight I noticed that I was not tasting what I should have been. They mixed up the order of the drinks. We finished the meal and the drinks and asked for the bill. We waited another ten minutes for it to arrive. The waitress was friendly. I am not sure why we had the issues we had with the soup. The drinks somewhat understandable, since it was Friday night and the Dodger's were in the play-offs, but she should have been checking on our drinks and food more often and letting us know what was going on. I was very disappointed because we used to frequent Friday's once a week when we lived in Georgia. Every time we go to Las Vegas, we go, so when we found it was closer we were excited. We probably will not be visiting this location again. I rated it two stars because the food is good.

food came out at a good time, the jack daniel wings are sooo good... the drinks come out pretty fast, the only thing is, i know its a new place however i would like the servers to know what they are talking about i normally ask what i should get drink and food and if you say it is the best long island, then i expect it to be the best... it was just too sweet to drink seating is pretty quick and i like how it is next to target! parking is really easy as well

This place is pretty big. It has a nice bar with multiple big screen TV's and ample seating in the restaurant. Décor is nice and new. The server we had was not too friendly. The deals they show on TV will not appear on the menu, nor will they say anything about it, unless you ask. I find that a little sneaky. We did order something from the 2 for $20 menu. However, most of the good items you have to add another $3 or $5 dollars to it. I ordered a pasta with chicken and shrimp. It was OK, but I thought there was too much alfredo sauce. The lower rating I'm giving is pretty much because of our server. I ordered a strawberry lemonade. It was about $3 something. it was filled 3/4 with ice. They also charge .49 cents for refill. I got the refill and when the bill came they charged me for 2 drinks. I talked to the server about it and he pretended not to know anything. He did correct the bill, but offered no apology or anything. It also got frustrating because it was hard to find him. The place was packed but they need to improve their service. I'm not sure if the other servers were like that, but the waiter we had was rude. Price is also expensive for the quality of food they serve.

been here a few times already. love the happy hour. drinks are average. and decent price. would only come here for happy though if you catch me drift.. happy hour is everyday i think. which is one great plus because you can always default to this place if you cant think of anywhere else. only downfall is it can get pretty crowded and waiting is not my strong point. I've tried some of their appetizers. which are decent and wasn't failed.. lol bar tenders are really nice and gets you your drinks quick. overall a nice place to just chill.

Decided to come here on a Tuesday night after having to work 10+ hours and being extremely hungry. When we arrived we got seated right away. The waiter was friendly...took our order.....took OVER 45 MINUTES for the food to come. and when it finally arrived the FOOD WAS COLD! My steak was room temperature, my broccoli was cold, and lobster was too salty and the only thing hot was my baked potato......For the price i payed for my food i could have gone to HOUSTON s instead.....Would of gotten great HOT food and great QUICK service. NOt only that but when i went to the restroom ...the stalls were so so so tiny. Im skinny and i even had a hard time getting into one. The toilet paper holder and toilet was installed so close to the door of the stall that there was such a limited amount of space to enter and exit the stall. Overall, i dont think i would come here again. The food was decent but i was pretty disappointed with they way how my food was cold and it wasnt only my steak that was cold but so was my friends steak dish.

Not very happy with this TGIF Fridays in Rosemead! We waited over an hour for our food and when we got it they had all our orders wrong. Even tho they made the mistake we still waited 20 mins to get our order corrected. So I would not Recommend to go to this one at all!

Gave it a second and third try and yes there was a great improvement. Waiters still need a bit more experience. But can't complain about "Happy Hour".

I've been waiting for this place to open ever since they announced it but it was definitely not worth the wait. We got seated rather quickly but after waiting 15 min we had to flag someone down. He was not our waiter but he has the only bright spot in what was a dismal dining experience. He took our order and came back 5 times before our actual waitress even showed up. We got the nacho, steak and shrimp, and steak and ribs. The food took a long time to come out but it was decent, but when we asked for jalapenos we were told there would be an extra charge. Then we asked for steak sauce and were told there would be an extra charge. Might come back for happy hr, but other than that I think we'll be going somewhere else from now on.

SLOW SERVICE! The stars are for the waitresses only. They had excellent personalities and tried their best to be accommodating, even though the bartenders and cooks were lousy. We had a large party and, as expected, they could not accommodate us for nearly 1.5 hours. We sat in the bar area and ordered drinks while we waited. I have to say these bartenders have got to be the SLOWEST bartenders on the face of this earth! The bar wasn't that crowded and it took nearly 10-15 minutes for them to serve 2 beers. They don't look at you, they don't acknowledge you, and they move at a snails pace. Very poor customer service at the bar! When we finally sat down to eat we waited nearly 30 mins for our food to arrive. My mother's plate had rice that was stone cold. We asked for another order of rice, but instead they gave her a whole new plate (which we didn't ask for) and charged us for it. It's not a gourment restaurant, so why are they working at a pace as if they are??? Had to speak with the manager to make these adjustments, which he did, after much discussion and complaining about the service. Please train your bartenders and cooks on efficiency, speed and accuracy!!

We used to come here for Happy Hr all the time a few yrs ago and now we're back again. I feel like the quality and tastiness of their food has decreased. So if i were to pay full price, i feel like i'm not getting my money's worth. But I come here during Happy hr and use gift cards I buy online for like 20% off hehe. the other day the waiter said i have to print out E-gc, that really defeat of purpose of having apps. I mean who still prints anyways? in the end i was able to use the app on my phone. they have a pretty good hr hour menu, wine list is a bit short, oh well. the Jack Daniel's rib bye is good- cooked med. the cajun chicken and shrimp pasta($14.99) is freaking fattening but so good.- money saving tip: get the 2/$20 deal and pay an extra $3(each plate) for this pasta. so you'll pay $26 and you get an appetizer to go with it. Wednesday's rib night. a rack of ribs and 2 sides for $10.99

TGIF is a typical American chain, but what I like about it is their Happy Hour --which this review is for. This location is also close to my house, so it's a quick option to grab a drink. The bar area gets pretty crowded, so it's usually tough grabbing a seat especially during a game. For draft beer ($3) and well drinks ($4) along with specialty drinks ($5/6) is such a great deal for HH. Of course there's also their half off appetizers and I've enjoyed those. I most recently had the potato skins ($4.50), which come totally loaded with bacon and cheese. It's a great place to catch up with friends or watch the game.

I usually don't like to come to these kind of fast food restaurants because I know their food quality is not that great. We came here in a group of 4 hungry people around 10pm Saturday night. It was something close by and my friends recommended it. Service was horrible in my opinion. The waiter took our order and I went ahead and order first. Since it was happy hour time, I ordered the wings which was 50% off. Then the waiter mumbles something that if you wanted to order off the happy hour menu then we should have let him know or it will be full price..blah blah. Thinking back I can't even remember what he said because it was so rudely explained. We didn't even get his name. Ok, then we didn't order the wings because it turned out that my friend ordered the hot wings. So I continued my order of chicken cobb salad and mozzarella sticks off the happy hour. -mozzarella sticks, can't really complain about them because I'm sure they are frozen and its not that hard to heat them up. Hard to miss cooking this. this was actually good. It was so cheesy. I liked it. -chicken cobb salad. They didn't bring me my ranch dressing. I had to wait for it like 15 mins and also trying to catch someone to bring it to me. Cobb salad wasn't even chopped up to pieces. It was just a lazy salad they throw the lettuce in and half ass chop up the cherry tomatoes, bacon was just cut in half and not even crumble and grilled the chicken was place it right on top with the egg and avocado. It was just OK for this salad. -my friends shrimp cajun pasta looked pretty good. He says it was kinda spicy as you keep eating it. -I tried my other friend's jack daniels burger. This was pretty good. the burger was kinda sweet and the meat was juicy. Now i know not to order a salad here next time i come. I would go for the pasta or burgers here.

It's been a long time my wife and I have been to TGI Friday, I can't remember the last time we had dinner at TGI Friday. When we arrive at the restaurant it was pack in the bar and the dining room and also people waiting in line for their turn for a table. We waited for 25 min for seating finally we got seated. We looked at the menu, we were looking at the all you can eat appiziter. The appiziter are $12 for the first person and if you have any other person the appitizer will be $10 all u can eat. The server was telling us the rules you can't share and you can't take home. We decided to order the 2 for $20. For the appitizer we order the Mozzarella sticks. My wife order the chicken balsamic salad and I order the jack chicken for three dollars more. The mozzarella sticks were really good very cheesy that's the way we like it. Our food arrive my wife salad looks so good. My meal look really delicious I couldn't wait to take a bit. The chicken was cook perfect I add the Jack Daniel sauce, I really enjoy the flavor amazing food. The mac&cheese tasted really good I like the Panko bread crumbs on top the macroni it was cheesy. The bake potato was ok but my wife enjoy her salad. For dessert we order the Oreo Madness one bite it takes your away it's amazing good..

I always get a different experience every time I visit TGIF. I want to like this place more, I really do.... Service: It's the only decent new american restaurant/bar near me so I was hoping to make this place a regular. Unfortunately, every time we sit at the bar area, the service is so slow. We're sitting there sobering up as we try to flag down our server for another drink. Maybe it's because we look younger then the normal crowd (30s-45s). I experienced our server chatting way too long with other customers instead of helping us out. Food: Living in 626, you are used to eating very good food. TGIF is just average. We did like the appetizers we had there, especially their fried string beans with wasabi sauce. Here was what we tried Fried String beans: Good! Boneless buffalo wings: pass Flat bread: O.K. Mozzarella sticks: Good! but eat them right when you get them. Spinach Dip: Too thick, hard to scoop with thin chips. Also, I would avoid of their meats unless you are ordering their ribs. Their meats are dry and overcooked.

It is decent place, could use a bit more umph in the speed of customer service. I came here with my family at 9pm for a late night grubbing during happy hour. Endless appetizers were a great choice, however, a few of the apps that came out were rather cold or overcooked. I felt like the cooks were having trouble with the consistency of the appetizer. Flat breads aren't supposed to crunch like crackers. I had water, first glass was perfect tasting water. The next cup tasted like it was straight from the tap. I recommend coming here only during happy hour because the more buzzed you are, the more likely you will overlook the negatives.

our server is super nice BUT their food. they give us empty a1 sauce & ketup . their French fries taste like a day old. "seriously, how do you f#%k up on fries" everything just sucks here. this place seem like their NOT up to date. i wouldn't come here again. oh ps...you can't have a beer and a shot at the same time. one drink at a time. lol

Came here for the endless appetizer reccommended by the waiter. So my first dish was the buffalo wings. I was a bit dissappointed because he never told me that it was just going to boneless. Got my first dish, it was okay. As you keep ordering more the quality of the food seem to of went downhill. The only dish I enjoy was the pan seared pot sticker. Service was meh.

The best service. Only one guy serving all the tables. Short Mexican dude. Everyone else was just talking and hanging out. We tipped him well. Food sucks late night. Fries were burnt crispy. Like reused old fries. Wings were good but the buffalo sauce sucks. We couldn't sit at the bar area because the 30 year forgot her id. Nobody was even there. Bar tender sucks. Why can't we order more shots and sip on some beers at the same time? I mean we were downing our shots once it arrives which took forever to get. They give you literally 1oz shots which weren't even a gulp. It was literally a sip of patron for $10 bucks. Anyways would not recommend this place to have drinks and food. Go somewhere else!!! Trust me!!

I'm never disappointed when I come here to eat. The servers are really nice and very courteous. They're always coming to the table to check up on us to see if we need anything else (I know they do that everywhere, but they really make sure that you're satisfied here). I actually celebrated my 26th birthday here and they gave me a Tennessee whiskey cake for free. It was really rich and delicious! We'll come back again for more amazing food and excellent customer service.

Took my daughter to eat here yesterday, it was buzzing, lots of people there, found out that they offer Happy Hour and so they know how to get people there though the week! We were quickly seated in a booth, the service was good, not great but good. The appetizers came after a bowl of clam chowder I ordered which was odd but Okay, not a big deal. Food was Okay, not the best but certainly not bad. I would say that my over-all experience was a good one, I will return with the wife next time.

The endless appetizers for $12 per person is great but it's good for lunch, our server Adela is fast and very good. This is my first time here, I ordered the sirloin and Mac and cheese. Ordered the pan seared potstickers they're great. Got my stake and I ordered it medium and got it well done sent it back Adela our server was on it. OMG the management came out and comped the dessert will be coming back, great location.

So I was bored last night and wanted a night out with my girls. I asked them what was a good place to have cheap drinks at and they recommended T.G.I. Friday's. Walked in and was greeted by a friendly host. He took us to our table and showed us how to use this mini POS system that each table has. It was awesome because we can re-order drinks on that thing but the downfall is when we wanted to reorder appetizers, we had to wait for the server to come around and take our orders. Anyways, happy hour is after 9pm and we went at 11pm (yes, I know we're night owls. lol) We ordered some insanely cheap appetizers; spinach and artichoke dip, a side of fries, and two orders of the buffalo wings. Kid-you-not, the dip was about $5, fries were $1.50, 8 wings for $4 (I ordered twice because it was so delicious, and also because the wings were so small that it didn't fill me up at all!) We also ordered our Happy Hour drinks which were $6 each, two Electric Blue Lemonades, one Long Island, and two PBR's. Everything was so freaking good and dirt cheap! I would recommend this place to all my night owl yelpers, HOLLA! xoxo lol

Came here for dinner to celebrate my moms birthday with the family. Food tastes delicious, it comes warm which causes the fries to get cold fast. I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich which was delicious! perfect combo of chicken buffalo sauce tomato and lettuce on ciabatta bread. Most of my family had the Jack Daniels Burger which is one of their top selected burger! Took a while to get refills, although our waitress was very friendly and had good recommendations. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. They actually charge for the ice cream they provide the birthday guest when they sing happy birthday, that sucks lol First time here and I would return!

In short, stopped by on Christmas Eve for a few drinks since they were open till 11:00pm (i think) and it was actually pretty crowded. Grabbed a booth in the bar area with a friend and our Server (Alex was on the receipt) was super chill and took care of us. Grabbed us our beers and shots in a timely manner and brought out some appetizers quickly as well. Nice to know they are open later than other places on Holidays.

Love, love, love this location! Ask for Ricardo, he is the best server! We've been his regulars for awhile now but I've been a bit absentee lately. Went in tonight with my best friend, and Ricardo asked how things have been. I explained that I got a new job so I've been busy. He was super excited for me and asked me all about it. The surprise came at the end of the meal when we discovered that he had paid for our food as a Congratulations to me on my new job! That is awesome service! Thank you Ricardo!!!!

About TGI Friday

TGI Friday is a casual dining American restaurant chain founded in 1965. The term “TGI” is an acronym for Thank God It's and together the name of the restaurant is often announced as Thank God It's Friday. Over the years of its existence, the TV commercials and other advertisement streams have also twisted the phrase a bit and used it as Thank Goodness It's Friday. The founder of the restaurant Alan Stillman lived in a New York-based neighbourhood full of a young crowd, especially girls from the airline and fashion industry. He started the first TGI Friday restaurant in New York in the hope of meeting single women as there weren't any such public place for young men and women to meet. He invested $5000 on his own and borrowed another $5000 from his mother to buy a bar named The Good Tavern and renamed the premise to Thank God It's Friday, inspired from an expression during his time at Bucknell University.
