I went to here to try out the food, as per I've never had Persian food. So I took my family. We were in awe on the delicious flavor of the koobideh , the chicken shish as well as the chicken barg ! Not to mention the dizzi and the humus ! Great food, great service ! I love family owned and run restaurants ! There's nothing like them ! Check this place out and try the deliciously different favors of Persian food ! Definitely a JOY !

Very good food, too bad it's in a bad location. The shopping center was dead and kind of sketchy. There was only one other table of customers at the place, which is weird for a Sunday night at 7:30pm. The owners were friendly, but service was just okay. Mom and pop shop place with about a dozen tables. I found a Restaurant.com gift certificate which I had no issues redeeming. Paid $1.80 for a $10 certificate (minimum purchase $20) The Food: Yogurt shallot and garlic dip- LOVED IT! It was great with the bread. The bread on it's own is not very good, but slather it with the yogurt dip and the eggplant hummus and we ended up finishing the whole basket or bread. The portions were big too. Koobideh- Substituted the rice for salad. Delicious. Moist meat and the salad had a little of everything. Beef Shish plate with Basmati rice- The meat was very tender and the basmati had a nice touch of butter. Overall, the food was really good. I guess I can't complain about the atmosphere because at least I know I won't have a long wait anytime I'm craving some delicious Persian/Mediterranean food. Total- Approx $30 with the $10 certificate.

Ordered hummus with eggplant, it's the firs time that I tried such sauce type of hummus. Flavor is perfect, texture is amazing- not dried, oily, or overly dense. Definitely come back even just for this hummus. We had the lamb shish, beef soltani dinner plates. The meat were cooked just right, tender and not a bit of overlooking where it's often the case in similar restaurants. The best surprise was the rice on the plate, fluffy and yet moist. Best rice that I had in middle eastern restaurants, I tasted a little bit of butter within. You can easily tell they put hearts to their cuisine. This one is a keeper.

Workers are nice. The place is nice and elegant. Food are tasty and made to order. Price is good. They also accept Restaurant.com Certificate with no hassle. Go between 11am-3pm, M-F for lunch specials.

Ordered the koobideh lunch special for $6.99 to go based on Yelp recommendations. The entree comes with meat kabob, a grilled tomato, slice of flatbread, and rice. The meat kabob was delicious, but everything else was okay. The place has a nice ambiance, although the guy at the cash register pretty much ruined it for me by asking me where I was from and started listing places (Vietnam? Phillipines? Korea?) I understand the need to make conversation, but starting off by asking what a stranger's ethnicity is never a good start (at least in my book). This was my first time trying Persian food; although I would love to try more Persian food, I don't think I'll be coming back to this place (at least not alone).

Came here yesterday with my boyfriend on lunch break.. Read some reviews and was kinda iffy on this place but we both really enjoyed it. The kitchen was so good, the rice was cooked perfectly. The only thing I wasn't to happy with was the hummus & pita...it was a little watery and the pita wasn't warmed up. I'd def be back tho!

Very tasty food. Was in Pomona for the day and found this place on Yelp. So glad we did. Owner was very friendly. The bread they provided was made fresh and was so good we had to ask for more. Next time I'm in Pomona, I'll definitely go back.

AMAZING!! All of it... fresh flavors, well seasoned, and nice portions. I will return any time I'm in Pamona.

I've been coming here on and off when I need something that tastes just like home. Unfortunately the food is never consistent and differs depending on when you go. The management and owners are nice and so is the ambiance. This one time I was there and on different occasions tables weren't cleaned but were attended to soon or later. I usually get the koobideh or soltani and last time it just tasted like it came out right from the freezer. Not fully cooked, watery and just embarrassing as I took my friend to try Persian food for the first time. Last time I got the dizin and that was just delicious and well worth the price. May be I should have mentioned to the owner that the food was the way it was, but I just didn't want the awkwardness that would ensue since they kinda knew me. I would return again but would mention something if the food was inconsistent.

It was a bit dead when i came here so that worried me. But it was during the week at night so i just stayed. It was worth staying the kabobs were good! Hummus well i have had better. Husband had the beef kabobs and he liked it too. Price was reasonable too and thats always a plus!

A-MA-ZING!!! :) this tiny place completely surprised us! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The yogurt and shallot dip was cool and refreshing. They were out of rice, but substituted the salad. The vinaigrette was a great balance to the rich meat. The lamb shish was THE MOST tender and juicy lamb we've ever had. Simply melted in your mouth. The beef soltani was SO FLAVORFUL and so tender as well. We thought it was a little pricey at first, but you're paying for a quality meal. We will DEFINITELY be back very soon to treat ourselves once again!

My friends wanted to eat here so decided to try it out. Like another yelp reviewer said, the shopping center is dead and sketchy. But that is not the reason for this review nor is it the food. When we went to sit down with our friends (which was the only taken table in the whole restaurant on a Sunday night), the owner came to greet us. He proceeded to say hi to my 3 year old toddler and started rubbing her cheeks and both arms with his hands. Then he tried to KISS her from the back. First he tried for her face but couldn't reach so then he tried to kiss her arm. Oh HEELLLL no buddy! I don't care what culture you come from, it is NEVER ok to touch and especially kiss someone's child that you don't know! I don't know you! I went to grab her hand and have her sit with me in which he followed me and tried to touch and kiss my infant that I was carrying. DOUBLE no! I'm sure he's a nice guy and all, but NOT an appropriate behavior toward your customers. I told my friends I refused to eat there and left.

We came here for a private grad party. Our host had rented this venue for about 60 guests, which was perfect. There was a small area for a dessert table, one area designated as a bar, with a bartender and the rest of the space was filled out by large tables all surrounding a generous space for dancing. The food was great, which is what this review reflects mostly. We had a variety of foods served in a buffet style. Beef koobideh, my favorite, chicken shish kabob and 2 different rices. One was a simple basmati which was great and another was basmati rice mixed with barberries. This dish was exquisite, the berries were perfectly tart without being overwhelming, they also displayed a hint of sweetness which countered the sour taste beautifully. Parking was plenty, and the location is located on Towne/Garey right by the 210, and is not too far away from 10 either. I would love to come back and try this restaurant on a regular day to see how the service is and how the food taste on a regular business day. I do recommend this place for parties, I may even use them myself in the near future :)

Oh my godddddd. I love this place SO very much. Been coming here for a couple of years now. The only thing that might throw some people off is that it is family run, so sometimes tables aren't cleared right away, and sometimes service can be slow. But, it's totally understandable since its a mom and pop shop! The owners are soooo sweet. Their food is soooooo good. I always get their koobideh plate. Literally, my kids will BEG to come here to get this plate. Hubby always gets the gormeh sabzi. (I totally know I'm not spelling it right...) Rice is always fresh, hummus always creamy, bread always warm, meat always juicy and flavorful. They have earned our family's business for life. (Ummmmm, I love that immature girl's horrible FAKE review. Funny how the ONLY other review is another mediterranean restaurant within the local area. Little obvi, dontchathink?!)

  • Elena C.

2nd time here. Food is always so fresh and very delicious. The hummus is the best I have ever tasted. Even better than the fanciest restaurants in Glendale. Highly recommend for a large party or dinner for two. The staff is always so friendly and generous.

First time here. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted w a smile. I had previously looked online at the menu, so I knew what I was going to order. I ordered the Koobideh plate and my husband ordered the Chicken Shish plate. The food came out soooooo flavorful and omg the saffron rice was awesome! We had also ordered Hummus and that was excellent as well! My husband loved his meal too! Our overall experience was great! We will be back for sure! Customer service was wonderful and food was excellent! If you are in the mood for Persian food...come here! Highly recommend:-)

I love persian Kabobs. However, there are many Persian restaurants in Los Angeles, It is always hard to find a good one with juicy kabobs. Nice and beautiful dining, friendly owner. Last time i took my friends there, the kitchen was so busy due to few tables and catering, but it was worth to wait a little longer. my friends all fell in love with the food. They are going to order their special package for their party soon next week and i cant wait to attend their party! Koobideh is the best. I have tried different kind of dishes there; they are all delicious! Tadig ghormesabzi is great for appetizer, and go for the yogurt cucumber! Its amazing! Highly recommended

  • Randy C.

Definitely a fan. Do not be fooled by the looks on the outside. The place is clean on the inside and the staff are so nice, polite, and generous just working to make sure your experience is pleasant. I always order the chicken kabob plate and a side of hummus or eggplant hummus. The rice is consistent and good, and the chicken is actually pretty moist and good as well. The hummus is good, the pita bread is good, and the eggplant hummus has a nice kick to it. Friend always order's a vegetarian dish, with a bunch of different vegetables and I am actually really interested in getting next time I go, as well as their pizza looks good and will be on my list to try as well.

Living in Hesperia there aren't many ethnic options. I'm originally from the SoBay where we have every ethnic option at our fingertips. With that being said I had a craving for Mediterranean food so I took to Yelp to find something on the fiancée's way home from work. I found a few places in Rancho but they all seemed to close around 7 which wasn't going to work for him. Thankfully I found Zuby's Cafe! Their food is GREAT!!! Nom nom nom! We got a variety of food our family of 3. We tried the chicken barg, beef barg, lamb barg, koobideh & hummus. The chicken, koobideh & hummus were all very flavorful. I'm knocking off 1 star because the steak & lamb were lacking in the flavor department. The meats were very moist they just needed a lil more seasoning, solved that by putting some hummus on them. Oh, and the rice is so so good, very buttery. They're a lil pricey but worth every penny. We will most definitely be going back!

  • Heath C.

Perfect for to-go. I thought the food was pretty tasty and it seemed like they care. The decor is okay but not super inviting. The service can get slow when they're busy, so be patient. The prices are below average for what you get, which is why I'll be back.

  • Bruce A.

I agree with all of the reviews the staff is really nice, service is ok,and the food is good, but tables need to cleared of with in a reasonable amount of time ( 10 to 15 minutes not 1hour) we walked in to the and the table in the corner didn't get cleared for about an hour. They also had a large group of about 20 people plus us a table of four. Also the restaurant needs some tlc.

First time here.... The food was amazing!! We ordered the family plate which included; 2 skewered koobideh, 1 skewered chicken shishlik and 1 skewered beef shishlik which also included a very generous portion of basmati rice which was totally awesome! . The skewers were so flavorful and delicious! We also ordered the Hummus and yogurt & cucumber which were an A + in my opinion! The owners are very friendly and humble which is an added bonus! We'll definitely be back to try different menu items!!

I've been here twice now, and the food is amazing, but the service is absolutely incredible. I ordered the beef stew and something I don't remember the name of, and my friend ordered a chicken stew. I tried some of hers and it was also delicious. The atmosphere is so pleasant, and the workers were just wonderful.

Just had lunch at this place. It is exactly a family owned business The service is not the fastest The table are not the most organized It is not the most professional looking place... So you do not bring a date here, you are here to eat...and you will enjoy it.. The food is so good, the meats are tender and juicy.. The Shiraz salad is the best. The badenjan is out of this world.. Next time I will order to go..

Mom and pop place... my bff and I were craving persian food but we were too lazy to drive to glendale.. their beef koobdieh and chicken shish was on point.. the hummus was the best hummus ive ever had and it was not grainy. We also had the stuffed grape leaves and sharizi salad. All were yummy! Definitley our new cheat spot. The husband and wife were so nice and attentive. Not to mention our bill came out to $28.00! Usually when we go to persian or middle eastern restuarants our plates are 25 to 28 each. The restaurant is nice and clean. A good place to take family and and close friends. They have lunch specials from 11 to 3 pm on weekdays not sure about weekends. There are three other middle eastern restaurants in the plaza. But by far Zubys is the best ive tried.

I keep writing nothing but positive reviews here; This time I'll just show you how good it really is: I ordered a Chicken Sultani plate with an extra Koobideh and an iced tea. The son was nice enough to let me sample their hummus and brought me a basket of flat bread that they make there, it also doubles as their pizza crust... it is super tasty, I usually don't say that about bread, but this bread is so flavorful that I keep asking for more. I forget to mention, their iced tea is a blend of teas and makes for a very healthy yet tasty iced tea, if you're someone that prefers iced tea, come check it out. Pics below!

One of the best and most authentic chicken shish kebab I've had. The meat was tender and flavorful. Also, the basmati rice was really delicious too. The owners were very sweet and even taught my husband how to eat his Persian stew properly. Will definitely come back!

    (5)
  • Laurence G.

Had the beef barg. It seemed like a smaller portion than advertised in the menu. Flavor was a bit bitter. Flatbread was hard. But the Persian Ice cream was pretty good. Kabobs over priced but ice cream was worth it.

I used their service for my graduation party. so before ordering I went in to try their food. A- MAZING!!!! From kabob, chicken skewers to their delicious stews. I am a big believer of great food comes from a kitchen with great attitude & service. Staff was very friendly and attentive. They genuinely cared about our needs as customers. I don't usually write reviews but small business's deserve a shout out! Thank you so much for delivering fantastic food to my party :)

Stopped in for lunch on Sunday. There was only one table taken. It was dead. I ordered the filet mignon plate and the eggplant hummus. Someone came to take our drink order and then 5 min later our food order. Appetizer came out and it was good. The bread was different from normal pita bread more like a larger cracker. After that we wait about 30 mins for our food to come out. Not once did they attend us or check on us but the other table which the owner went back to check on about 20 times in front of us kept speaking in Persian. The food came out and it was good. But the filet looked more like skirt steak. I question if it was actually filet mignon. We waited another 20 min for the check after we finished our meal. The owner was having a great conversation with the other table the whole time and ignoring our table completely. I give this place 2 stars because the food was good. Otherwise I'd give 1 star based on the experience. I got the impression if you're not Persian you get treated differently. I won't come back here. You can get the same quality food elsewhere and smiling welcoming faces taking care of you.

I keep coming back and keep bringing more people and they all say the same thing. The food is amazing! And I agree. And you should listen to me. I'm Persian and grew up eating this stuff. I've had it all over the world and this is up there with the best of them. Just come and get it. The lunch specials are a really good deal too.

  • Bernadette S.

As authentic as it gets! The koobideh, chicken shish, rice and the grilled tomato are oh so good! Good lunch portions and the hummus is the best we've tried so far! For $4.99, you get a large bowl and generous portions of bread on the side. Can't wait to be back!

Oh Lawwwwd Jesus. Why didn't I find you guys sooner?!?! Thank YOU, Yelp. Usually we drive 45 minutes to get yummy Persian food in O.C. This is AMAZING! Bomb ass Persian food close to home?!?! Ordered the shirazi salad, beef koobideh, ghermyeh stew (I'm pretty sure I royally messed up the spelling!) and got the Persian tea (yum!!). Ooh, and the hummus. The bread is made there so it is nice and fresh and deelish! Seriously, EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD. The koobideh meat was perfectly marinated, spiced and JUICY. Love the fact that they add the roasted tomatoes! Hummus- perfect and creamy. Shirazi salad- crisp, lemony and fresh! The stew- lemony hearty goodness. The ppl who work here are absolutely amazing, too!!! Love the older gentleman. So sweet and gentle. That kind of stuff seriously makes a huge difference. Zuby's; I WILL BE BACK. A LOT.

Family own, very nice owners, personable. Food was freshly prepared and very delicious. We ordered the shish plate, kabooteh plate and Hawaiian pizza, it was all very good. My kids loved it here. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because there was no AC only fans which helped a little. Overall, will definitely be back. Recommended if you are looking for good, authentic Persian food.

  • Robyn H.

I'd give 2.5 if I could. We ordered the family plate which was two koobideh, one beef shish and a chicken shish. It came with rice. The food was good and fresh which explains the time it took the food to come out so no biggie. We also got the hummus which was different from what I've had at other Persian/Mediterranean places but still good. The bread got me hooked, it smelled fresh and it was soft and yumm! The portion of the family plate says feeds 3-4 people, and my family of three didn't think it was enough, mind you we don't eat a lot and we're tiny. But still food was good. I gave them two stars because the service was below par. They didn't seem to cone out unless they were bringing food. We were waiting for someone to come out so we could ask for more water yet it seemed as if everyone disappeared. It looked like there were only three people working and everytime the waitresses weren't helping someone they were in the back for long periods of time. They were very friendly though. We also ordered an ice tea and never got it, the place wasn't even full, probably two other small groups but they were about done. Lastly they charged an extra dollar because we asked for more bread, sure its a dollar whatever but they could've at least let us know just so we didn't freak out about the pricing. Anyway all In all just work on the service

We love the food here. Middle eastern food is so delicious much better than cafex2o especially the koubideh kabob and we've ordered pizza from here a few times and I really liked it. Nice bonus that The meat is halal especially because we know the meat is of better quality and gives us a nearby option for when our halal meat eating families are in town. Sometimes it's difficult communicating with the owner because of his very heavy accent but I can't hold it against him. Great food try it!

  • Fauzia G.

This use to be one of my favorite places to eat Persian food. Lately the quality has gone down. I ordered food and it was horrible. Uncooked and pretty much everything went to trash. I have been waiting on the manager to refund my money back and every time I call he says he sent me an email which I never received. I will never go back again!

We decided to come here because I was craving Shamshiri. The beef shish and rice was so juicy and tasty (I wish they gave more since the price was kind of high). The Koobideh wasn't as good but still not bad at the same time. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it wasn't as clean as I expected. We were the only customers there but the other tables were left dirty from the previous customers. We'll definitely come back again. I'm not crazy about the neighborhood it's located in but it beats having to drive all the way to the valley for Shamshiri.

My girlfriend and I visited this cafe after our hike at Marshall Canyon. She ordered the chicken shish kabob and I ordered the beef kabob. The food was fantastic. The beef was extremely tender and fresh. It melted in my mouth. The chicken was cooked to perfection and was juicy and tender. We ate with great pleasure and the owners were super friendly and warm. Can't wait to return.

Tried many kebap restaurants in the inland empire area, I usually don't like tender or juciy meat I like it very well done but this place served very tender meat kebap and well cooked at the same time. I always order the chicken sultani that is mostly chicken chunks and 1 skewer of beef kebap with rice, simply the best.

  • Waheed B.

Quite a unique concept--Persian and Italian. Everything is fresh, made-to-order so there is a wait. I wanted to try a wrap but they were out of bread. They have some very traditional Persian options which you won't find at other places.

  • Christine J.

Appetizer: dolmeh (delicious! Careful though, they're served hot) Main dishes: family platter (all the meat is very juicy & the chicken is very moist & tender Gheymeh baseman (the little dried lemons are indescribable! Never had something like it. So good. Might not be for everyone though) Dessert: Persian ice cream (saffron, rose water, & pistachios) Mm!!

We had our annual banquet here this past Saturday. When we arrived the place was a mess, and the floor was dirty, Nothing was organized. We had to organize everything, and we even had to go get our own table clothes. The food was supposed to come out at 5:50, but it came out at 7 pm, we waited over an hour. When we went to pay, he had told us $13.00 per person plus a service fee. They charged us $20.00 per person! And he said we had to give him a credit card number if we didn't have enough cash. It was very misleading, and we had to do the clean up. Never again!

Great food! Their lunch specials are priced fairly and generously portioned. I keep ordering the chicken plate, because it's just so delicious, I don't want to even try anything else lol! The meat is very moist, well seasoned, and appealing to the eye. Their hummus is very good and the bread is made fresh. I tried yogurt soda there (first time ever) and it was definitely NOT what I expected. It was still tasty, just no carbonation or sweet taste like you would expect when you hear the word "soda". I am glad I tried it though. I've been here twice and carried out once. Give them a try! Friendly service and delicious food?? What's not to love!?!

  • Kursten O.

The amazing Yelp reviews brought us here for lunch one afternoon. We were the only group here and the couple working, I assume the owners, were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious! Fresh and full of flavor. Our whole family gobbled down our lunches and there was nothing left. The homemade bread they bring to the table when you first arrive is delicious! The overall experience was...odd though. We ordered our drinks and it literally took almost 10 minutes to get them. In that time the man left and came back. We thought he was going to get soda but he came back empty handed. Our drinks came out right after he returned, and they were flat. Lastly, it was very expensive and the portion sizes were on the smaller side. Our lunch was over $50, and that was with the kids splitting a meal.

Good Persian places are hard to come by in the area, which is why I'm so thrilled to have found this one! Like many Persian places, they also have a variety of Italian dishes available for those in your group who don't want Persian food ;-) First of all, service and staff was very good and very friendly. A lot of Persian restaurants are lacking in the service department (I'm very familiar with Persian restaurants due to my husband's Persian heritage, so I can state this with confidence), but this is not the case here. Service is GREAT! And SO is the food! The first time we were here, my husband had the fesenjoon and I had the Persian dizzi, which is something I hadn't seen on any Persian menus before. We also asked if they by any chance had some Salad Olivieh, and they happened to have some, which we ordered for appetizer. Their bread is made there on site, so it is wonderfully soft and fresh, nice and thick and you really can't get enough. We had to force ourselves to limit the bread intake as to not fill up before our meal came out. Our dinners were both excellent! I loved the dizzi, which is kind of a "mashup" or chicken, potato and some various other ingredients, served with a bowl of broth oe n the side which I soak the bread in and eat with the dizzi. It's a wonderful combination of flavors, and I must admit that I had it again my second time there, despite my wanting to try other dishes. The fesenjoon was great, nicely balanced flavors, not too sour, not bitter and not too sweet. Served with a mountain of the famous saffron basmati rice, it was just wonderful. Service again, very nice, drink refills were frequent and we're so excited to have found this place. We've since been back a couple of times, and will for sure become regulars in no time at all :) For Inland Empire Persian food, there is no competition as far as I'm concerned, Zuby's is the place to go. Enjoy!

Just had dinner here with 5 other people and I have to say... one of the best Persian food joints around.... I cannot even begin to talk about how many I have been to and most have just let me down.... all but Mediterranean Cafe in Pasadena and now Zuby's Cafe... the best part is, it's closer to me... I had the Soltani, which is the chicken and beef koobedhi and ever component of this dish was ridiculously amazing.... even the tomato and bell pepper.... and I never rave about vegetables... lol We also started with the eggplant hummus and a few other mixed veggies and it was smiles all around... Great price point for great food... everyone needs to eat here... keep establishments like this open... owners are very nice as well I am super tired now thanks to food coma but it was all just awesome. Go now!

My first time here. Arrived to order food to go. Family run place where everyone is kind, friendly, and gives great advice. The place is well lite and with plenty of seating. There was no wait if you wanted to eat in the restaurant. I ordered yogurt and cucumber, hummus, Koobideh, and beef shish. All the food was flavorful, spicy, and delicious. The rice was delicious. All around I do not think you could go wrong with anything you order here. The food was prepared quickly and tasted great even when we ate it at home. Definitely will return as my go to Persian place locally!

My daughter and I had the chicken shish lunch special. Its a kebab with large chunks of chicken breast and veggies. Perfectly prepared and very tasty with very light spiciness. Served with generous portion of white rice topped with shaved saffron. Very satisfying for $7.99. Also had yummy hummus served with bread that is baked on the premises. Service was outstanding.

Okay, so I gave this place 2 stars because while the hummus was the best I've ever had...and the food was amazing...there is a bird living in this restaurant right near the front entrance that did not shut up the entire time we ate here. Literally put me in a bad mood. If I'm going out to eat I don't want to feel like I'm in a pet store. I couldn't even concentrate on the delicious food I ordered because of the endless squawking going on behind me. Also, we were the only customers in the restaurant but yet there were 3 dirty tables no one bothered to clean. When you're in a restaurant with every table except for one dirty, it makes you wonder how clean the kitchen is. I just expected so much more from the reviews. But the food was great!

Asheh reshteh was delicious so was the ice tea and my friend had soltani with salad shirazi. Just a bit hot in the restaurant but nice decor

Their Persian selection is stellar. The koobideh was a bit dry on my second visit, but the first time I was extremely juicy and tasted amazing. I had a bite of my friend's wrap and it was decent, I only really went because it was the closest place that offered Persian food and like I said they did a good job with that.

Ordered the family deal for 8-10 people and at 1st they tried to tell me I couldn't get it since it was a holiday even though it did not state that anywhere in the menu, food was enough for 4-5 people which is why I gave a 4 the food itself is great and 5 stars.

This place is great for affordable delicious Persian food in big portions. Don't expect amazing service. Zuby's is a family-run business, and they do a great job in the kitchen where it matters most. Service tends to depend on how many folks are there, and I've always had great service personally. The shallot dip, koobideh, and chicken are wonderful. The beef pepperoni pizza is pretty good too.

Really good food. I went there for lunch on a recommendation from a coworker and was glad I did. I ended up getting the Koobideh (basically a meat kabob) and it was really tasty. It also came with the nice portion of rice that was delicious. I do recommend that if you are going during lunch and only have an hour, you may want to order in advance. The restaurant is only 7 mins or so from my job but we barely made it back to work on time. I was so impressed that I went after church with some friends and they loved it as well. The hummus was made fresh and was fantastic. I will be going back.

Their food is amazingly good! Without a doubt, the best persian restaurant in the area. The service is always good. They are always really friendly and courteous. We had the lamb barg, hummus, pizza, chicken salad and tea, everything was absolutely delicious. Their stews r really good too. If you wanna have real persian food, this place is definitely you must go place. You won't be disappointed!

We dropped in without knowing about this restaurant. The food was excellent - very fresh, not greasy. The owner/server was pleasant. Great surprise!

Very cute hole in the wall with INCREDIBLE food. Got the beef kabob and O...M...G. Hummus was good, pitas(?) were fresh/warm/crisp on the ends (pause for watering mouth). Not for the pretentious eater - it's very low-key and in a strip mall. 100% worth it.

After visiting several Persian restaurants in Los Angeles and the Inland Empire, I am so happy to find such a great restaurant close to home. Not only is the food fresh and delicious, the service is attentive and the vibe is very relaxed. We have been twice in one week and tried several different kabob plates. The lamb shish, chicken shish, beef shish and koobideh were juicy and flavorful. The flat bread is made onsite and served warm. It is addictive! I liked the fresh made salad dressings and the greek salad. The saffron basmati rice was wonderful. We can't wait to go back and try some more items!

Their Persian dishes are hands down amongst the best I've had anywhere in the US. If you live in the area forget driving to LA or OC, just go to Zuby's. Oh you don't like Persian food?...Well, their pizzas and burgers are off the chain. The owners get it right every time and they are super friendly. Highly recommend it.

Had the pizza they had on special it was great, was not very happy with the Kabob wrap this time, the first time I had the wrap it was great. Will surely go back.

Zuby's lunch specials are great. They also have group specials that can't be beat. We got the one for 8-10 people, came with 8 skewers of mixed meats, plenty of rice, 8 servings of hummus, and freshly made break for 35 bucks. Thats unreal... The rice and the meats were super greasy as our plates were filled with oil. Good for a cheat meal, not good for a healthy meal. Nevertheless tasty!!! Can't wait to go back for more!!

I had dinner with my family, but sad to say our dining experience here is below par. Food is average, but the service, this is where it falters..as soon as food and drinks come to you, they don't come back to refill your drinks or ask if you needed anything else. They looked tired from doing everthing from preparing the food, to cooking, to serving and doing cashier work too. They should have been more attentive to the customers. In my opinion, customer service is a very big factor when it comes to restaurant business next to the food. In this case, they could've gotten more stars if their service is up to par.

My friends took me out to lunch here. Great place! Ordered the Beef Shish. It was perfectly cooked and really tender. Food was cooked as you ordered so don't expect fastfood level speed. I've eaten at other similar places in the area and so far this is the best.

So far I've only had the pizza, but it's soo good. It made my whole car smell like fresh garlic and I couldn't wait to eat it.The Hawaian pizza has these slices of garlic on it in addition to the toppings. It's great!

We visited for lunch and had the chicken shishlik (kabob) and Koobideh (seasoned ground beef & lamb). Both were very good and cheap - $6.50 and $5.99.. If you like Persian food, this place is reasonably priced and good quality. When we were there on a Thursday at 12:30, only 2 other tables were occupied. I hope business picks up. For the price of a Carl's Jr lunch, you get so much better quality and healthier food here.

I had a wonderful experience here. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food is excellent, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Ever since I tried their food, I have been coming back at least once a week. Great for the family.

Their food is fresh and delicious! It all starts with the pita bread and hummus which is the best I've ever had. For an appetizer I'd recommend the yogurt with cucumbers (also goes great with the pita bread) Then for the main course the Koobideh has been cooked perfectly every time we've gone there along with the chicken kabob. Even the rice has a distinct delicious flavor. Wish i could give it 10 STARS!!!

Really loved this cafe! The owners were so kind and accomodating. I had the lasagne which was delicious! The hummus was very yummy, too. My co-workers had wraps and said they were awesome. The house salad dressing was tasty and they make their own Ranch. Mmmm. The only issue with service was that the food took a little longer to prepare since it was just the two of them serving and cooking. As for the lasagne, the only thing I would change is the fact that I think it may have been placed in the microwave prior to serving to warm it up so as to serve all of us at once; unfortunately it was just a bit dry and the edges were slightly hardened, as food can get when microwaved. We difinitely will be back to try out some more menu offerings!

The food is very good, but the service is very slow. My sister-in-law asked for onion to go with her bread and it took forever to get an onion, until she saw one of the owners walk in from the store next door with a bag of onions. Unbelieveable. The woman taking our order had very limited English speaking skills and we had to repeat our orders to her. This place has the potential to be outstanding, they just need to pick up the service. By the way, we were the only people in there until a couple women came into eat, so it was not like they were crazy busy.

This is a treasure. The bread is amazing, but so is everything else there. It is a family operation, and their care shows. The food is fresh, served with friendliness and a desire to please. The atmosphere is usually quiet, and they go out of their way to make you want to return. This place is a must try.
