don't come for the food. come for the games. trivia, dance dance revolution (YOU KNOW YOU LOVED THIS GAME WHEN IT WAS BIG!!! DON'T EVEN DENY IT!!), deal or no deal, RIDES, miniature golf, bumper.. things (they weren't cars... can't describe them) that were way funny than bumper cars, etc. if you want to come for the food, eat the buffalo chicken, garlic pesto, and bbq chicken ranch pizza. they have mac and cheese pizza but its only good when its FRESH... and even then, its ok. i would just eat their macaroni and cheese and put it on a cheese pizza instead.

Employees: RUDE and Clueless EMPLOYEES PUT DROPPED FOOD BACK IN THE BUFFET. I Told An Employee That A Kid Dropped Food In Front Of The Dessert Buffet And The Employee Picked Up The Food On The Floor And Put It Back On The Buffet. I Looked For A Manager And 10 Minutes Later, I Told The Manager What Happened And People Were Already Eating The Dirty Food. The Manager Had The Employees Remove The Platter Of Dirty Food And Fix A New Batch Of Dessert.

Seriously going down hill cannot handle when you go to a place half the machines don't work and the employees look at you like you are trying to rip them off for 2 cents worth of tickets. Seriously the customer service needs a big bump. No way you can give away a couple trashy toys with a smile when you are spending a $100. People go here for fun and big events wondered why the place is so empty now I know. Let me know when there are a few friendly people here.

I enjoy this place for the experience that it provides for my young kids. The food is cafeteria style (i.e. you are not going to take your date out to this place), but my three kids love the pasta and pizza here. Plus its all you can eat. The games are also fun and I find the games/rides more interesting than at Chuck E Cheese.

We've been passing this place for years and keep intending to go in but always forget. It was the husband's birthday and he loves pizza so we said why not? Very happy that we finally did. At first, I thought the prices were high for the buffet but once I actually got in and saw everything you get for it, I was like woohoo!!! I thought the food was great, icees, a capuccino machine, all sorts of pizzas (peanut butter?) (they'll even take a special request and make what you want), baked potato bar (which I LOVE), and a very fresh salad bar. Not into desserts, but they had that also and a pretty decent selection it seemed. Eating is done in themed rooms which ranged from a cartoon room (the kid was happy that Bubble Guppies was on) to a skateboard room. The great part was going to play the games and tiring out from that and being able to come back to the all you can eat buffet and have some more to eat. Woohoo! I hate when you go out to eat, go do something and then you get home and you're hungry. Doesn't happen at this place. As to the games, it's nice that they give you a fun card so that all your 'tokens' are on it along with the tickets you have. I haven't been to Chuck E. Cheese's in a year but I still have those darn tokens in my car in odd places along with the tickets. We had a great time and I can't wait till we go back!

Got here @ 11AM today right when they first open. Got the lunch special with drinks. I love the fact that they have ICEEs here. Can't get enough of that stuff. Left around 12PM. Not too shabby. Play glow in the dark golf and a couple of other games in the arcade that they have. Cash in the tickets for a mini lunch pail.

OMG.. where was this place when I was a kid?!?! Seriously man... First off, this review is based on me reverting back to my 4 year old mentality. And if I would describe JIPC in two words, it'd be ..freaking awesome. I mean c'mon.. pizza, games, rides, private b-day rooms where random grown ups come to give me tons of presents while I act like the happiest kid on the planet! Who could ask for more??? JIPC is great fun for all ages. Whether you're 5 years old or 35 years old.. you'll surely find entertainment. I went here recently to celebrate my good friend's son's birthday.. the little cutie had just turned 4. They reserved their own room where hostesses blew balloons and played games for the children. The food was buffet style served outside and the drinks/pizza were served in the room. JIPC has all the games even I like. There was mini-golf which I played with a friend. That was fun. Everything inside was glow in the dark and it was a pretty good run considering the fact that I wasn't really expecting much. We also went on the bumper cars which was surprisingly the most fun for us since these bumper cars were wayyy too legit and lasted long enough to bump every kid at least 5 times.. just picture two grown ass people getting crazy with kids hahah.. too funny! I guess it's safe to say that grown-up Val had a good time, don't you? ;)

this is a great place to take my nieces. foods not that great. I only like the salad bar but sometimes the lettuce is full of water and its not so good. I dont like the idea of kids being able to get their own food because we saw a little girl using her hands to get her pasta from the spoon you scoop it out with. Best days to go are weekdays because the crowd isnt there.

.., came here recently to celebrate my buddy Scott's son's 4th bday. This place is hard to miss , especially if you are a local. When my gf & I arrived, we were driving thru their parking lot (to park obviously), when we came across a roadblock of 3 cars pointing in 3 different directions. I gave the driver closest to me a look (as in, get the f*ck out of our way), but they all still chatted as if the world around them didn't matter. It was right in front of the entrance, what better place to hold up traffic! I try to pass the car closest to me because it would be ridiculous for us to wait til' their conversation ended, when the driver closest decides to finally move. I get a better look at him & the rest of the drivers & they were 3 of John's Incredible Pizza Co employees! That really pissed me off! These idiots probably just got off the clock & were deciding where to meet up afterwards. That's all fine with me but when you're blocking the way for not only myself, but other opposing traffic just to BS w/ work buddies in the parking lot, have the decency & consideration to not be an a$$hole about it. Upon entering, we didn't wait too long. Despite the massive herds of families & kids running around, the cashiers move quite efficiently. After we ordered, we had to show our reciept to another employee before getting our buffet on. I look up & guess who it is? The dude that was blocking us in the parking lot! After he ignored my form of existence outside, look who he runs into inside? His eyes lit up looking somewhat awkward & guilty when he seen me look at him. I wanted to say something but I let it go. Probably a highschool kid just being immature, but still. You should have respect for others, especially when it's a damn customer at your place of business! We finally hit the buffet & chowed down. Everything I had was delicious. Not mind blowing, but definately great. The spaghetti & other pasta dishes were all good. I really dug the buffalo chicken pizza, but I just wish they put more buffalo chicken on them. Desserts were all tasty, & our server was very attentive as well. We'll be back again.

The place is clearly intended for children to eat play and get prizes. I've been here twice and the second trip was less fun than the first. the food: typical pasta buffet ...macaroni and cheese, Alfredo, marinara.. Not to shabby. Salad bar...it's okay has enough selections to create a satisfying salad (hard boiled egg was my favorite) Pizza : A lot of options to pick from it's best to pick out the ones freshly out. Desserts : Wack!! There's only 2 sundae options vanilla or chocolate with sprinkles. The other options are doughnuts, which look dry and old, cheesecake that looks yellow, chocolate cakes that are big and have too much frosting .. and a decent cinnamon roll. Games: Everything you play is operated by a credit card that has token value. So instead of carrying a pocket full of coins you get a card. Awesomeness. And if you lose it you can replace it for $0.25. There are still a few coin-op games and also token machines. The games are the usual skills games, not.as fancy as chuck e. Cheeses in that sense. Also, whatever tickets you get go onto the card :). For the games that still shoot out tickets you can go.to .a.machine out front and put the ticket value in to your card. Easy. If you have an issue doing so, the workers are always really nice. Restrooms : Plentiful and clean

First time I came here was for my godson's birthday. Second time I came here was last night was for my son's birthday. This place is definetly for the kids. Let's face it. What kid isn't happy with a piece of pizza? Doesn't matter if its a pizza pocket, school lunch, Costco or fancy foo Italian joint, if its pizza, a kid will eat it and probably say its the best thing in the world! Best thing in the world its not. Yes, many choices, but sadly, not much flavor. I have to admit that it was somewhat better than the first time I came, but maybe I was hungrier this time? This is an AYCE joint, with a salad bar, pasta bar and dessert bar to go along with the pizza. Soups too. One cool thing about this place is that if there isn't any pizza of the type you want to try, they will make it for you and will even overhead page you when its done. Pastas are bland and say they contain proteins like chicken, but never actually seen protein in them. They have the vats of pasta sauces, but who likes to see the bottom of the vat and the sides all caked with sauce? Looks like it had been sitting there all week. NOT VERY APPETIZING. I had mac n' cheese this last visit but had to add cheese from the salad bar because it was so watery. Speaking of watery, the first time I came here, the lettuce in the salad bar was sitting in water. So when you'd use the tongs to put it on your plate, the lettuce and your plate would be wet. AGAIN, NOT VERY APPETIZING when you trying to dress a salad. This time however, the salad bar was MAJORLY improved, with the exception that the side I was on ran out of ranch dressing. This time, everything was well stocked, whereas the last time, there was nothing there in the salad bar. For that, I'd have to say they did a good job this time around. Another plus is that they have slushees in their soda fountain section, as well as a coffee/hot chocolate/cappucino machine. Where John's excels is in their selection of games and entertainment. My compadre's son told me that this location is bigger than the Buena Park location and had more stuff to do. They have bumber cars, 4 bowling lanes, a few holes of miniature golf, a spin ride, and a ton of games to win tickets. Better than Chuck E. Cheese in that respect, and the kids loved it. Speaking of CEC, one thing that I don't like about this place is that unlike CEC, there is no control system to monitor what children enter with what adults, so there's really no way to tell if a kid belongs to an adult or not, and I'd highly advise JIPC to get with the program and do what CEC does and put something into place. Kids run free all over this place, and there's no "doorman" there to prevent them from exiting with the wrong person. Another minus is that all the general seating areas (NON-PARTY ROOMS) are literally around the corner from the play areas. My wife got a birthday package there and reserved a room and a hostess, and I must say our hostess was very very helpful and very entertaining for the kids. They also let us take stuff to make banana splits since my kid doesn't like cake, and I am very grateful for the accomodation. Included in the package deals was what they call a fun card, and it was better deal the the tokens you get when you throw a party at CEC. Overall, this place is for the kids. If you are happy making them happy, bring them here. They sell beer!

Damn john's is expensive but Ive got 4 kids. It beats the hell out of lame chuck e cheese. Plenty of ROOM games rides and especially food. I love the self serve bars and tv rooms. ours is small so until they do some renovating i'll keep driving to this one.

I hate going to Chuck E. Cheese. The games suck. The pizza is OK. The worst thing is Chuck is now creepy. When I go to John's, I get good pizza. The pizza I would give 7/10. 10 being the best ever and 0 being that cardboard pizza you ate back in elementary school (which for some reason you thought was edible back then). My favorite pizzas are the spicy peanut butter with pepperoni and the pepperoni/ jalapenos. Delicious. On the dessert side, they have an automatic doughnut machine popping out little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside goodness topped with just powdered sugar. Let's face it. At John's you get a good value. You could have a beer (that's pretty cheap), eat tasty pizza, and play games Chuck E. Cheese only dreams about.

Sure, this place smells of sweaty ball pit, but what pizza place dedicated to kids doesn't? This place is perfect for adults that like beer & want to relax while unleashing their hungry kids on an impressive playroom and pizza buffet. Johns is a Pizza buffet featuring strange combinations (ex: spicy peanut butter pizza, don't let it get the best of you as I once did) Unlimited pizza, rides, miniature golf, mini bowling alley, arcade, themed rooms and beer for adults. Take your family here, my baby sister loves this place.

I love John's Incredible Pizza!! If only I felt it worth of that 5th star - but alas, there are always bad sides to something so good! John's Incredible Pizza is a good option when thinking about children's parties! In my opinion, it kicks Chuck E. Cheese in the ass! I'm not sure about pricing, but the two times that I've been - we have the room for 2 hours, the "helpers" come and facilitate some games with the kids, the bear comes to play with the kids too - all of the people at the party get play cards, AND the best part... it's buffet! Unlike Chuck E. Cheese where you have to pay for everything separately! The buffet to me is one of the best parts. They have a salad bar, pastas, and tons of different pizzas to choose from. My all time favorite is the peanut butter pizza. I know it sounds gross, but really, it's SOOO GOOD! It's a little spicy so it has a little kick to it - but it's seriously the reason why I love coming here!! They also have other pizzas like bbq chicken, pepperoni, cheese, alfredo, nacho, mac and cheese, etc. The buffet also has desserts like chocolate cake, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and ice cream. They even have beer!! ... but the alcohol is extra! Even though they kick you out of the private rooms after the two hours, you are welcome to go to the common eating areas to hand out (and continue eating). Also, they have such a wide variety of games!! Not only do they have your regular arcade games, they also have a few rides, mini golf, and bumper cars!! What's not to love?! The bad points - similar to other children's fun places - this place gets pretty crowded on weekends (hence not the 5 stars). Also, not that I 'm a mom, but there's always a line for the changing table in the women's restroom.

I do not like chuck-e-cheese or a chuck-e-cheese atmosphere but I do enjoy my time at John's! My children love the food, games, and rides (as does my husband). I like how everything is spread out and you do not have to wait in long lines for the rides and games. I am not a fan of crowds but it is roomy enough in the game area to make me feel comfortable. I enjoy the unlimited food and drinks. The food is always served hot and fresh. The salad bar is crisp and fresh. It has many toppings to choose from. The pastas are also good. Tip: Saturday nights are busy so do plan to be in line to get in a bit longer than normal. Downside: If planning a party here, you do get rushed through your event and have a time limit which they make very clear by cleaning up as you try to enjoy the company of the party.

Move over kids, let mommy play a little... but mom... no let me show you how to do it... mommy I can do it! Just let mommy try! The only part of taking my kids here that I don't like is they always steal all my damn tickets, just because I'm a mom doesn't mean I don't want to cash them in for a prize too! Oh well, Ill just gorge on yet another plate of mac n cheese pizza with jalapenos. AYCE delicious pizza, AYCG (guzzle) root beer and cheap games that actually work make this place my fave venue to be invited to for a birthday party. I mean... for my kids to be invited to!

Needs to be cleaner, have some kind of crowd control, better & fresher pizza topping selections. Overall, its OK but I prefer going to the Moreno Valley location better.

Had my daughters party at johns "inedible" pizza in Montclair. What do you know, the next day, more than half our party had the stomach flu. I was skeptical about eating the food but instead decided it was "okay". Now I think back and the idea makes me hurl. I imagine millions of snotty nosed kids playing games and returning with their filthy hands to infest the food. So many people and germs exposed throughout this disgusting place. Never again Johns... Never again...

I have been here many times, with the children I work with, or for a child's birthday. For what it is, it's good. The food isn't bad. Decent salad bar. The pizza is pretty good, with many choices. Try the spicy peanut butter pizza. The cinnamon rolls are great, and the soft serve is pretty good also. The games are pretty decent. They have added some new games, but I am sad they took away the build a bear.

I've been there many times now. It gets extremely crowded. The pizza and salad bar is pretty good. You can order a special pizza instead of eating what's there if you want. The games are cool for little kids. They have a couple rides as well. If you go fairly early it's not bad

If you have kids, this place is a must go for them! They have everything here, foods, arcade games and bumper cars! Affordable prices with lots of games and foods, what's not to love if your a kid? Do sign up for their mailing list cuz they do send out coupons every week and that can save you a lot!

The good: Much better than Chuck E. Cheese. The food is delicious and it keeps coming in a buffet format. They have mini-golf, bumper cars and a twister ride! The rooms are themed but not in a corny way. Great donuts and ice cream! For some it is significant that they serve alcohol. The bad: It can be terribly expensive. If you don't go during the right time where its not too crowded and not too empty you may find it difficult to get the food you're looking for. People tend to drink a lot of alcohol. The ugly: When it gets crowded, it draws a pretty rough crowd from south of the 10 so be careful who you bump into and don't you dare complain when they cut in front of you at the buffet!

pizza here is not that bad love buffet style all you can eat I love all the different rooms with a different TV music and everything and arcade as fun as well as a ride for the kids

Took the family back here about a week ago. First time in a few years i think. Pizza is still the same as before. The spicy peanut butter pizza is actually pretty good. They dont seem to have as many games any more. The sports room stunk like throwup or something else gross.

I agree with Valerie M. I never had a place like this when I was a kid! Man! PROS: buffet style soda, soup, pizza, pasta, salad, & dessert for $5-$12, depending on whether you're a kid or an adult. And no, wanting/acting like a kid doesn't count! I came here for a friend's son's 4th birthday and I can see why this place is so INCREDIBLE (haha, get it?) - there's food, games, rides, dancing mascots, bowling - every kids' dream! My friend and I couldn't get over why there weren't places like this when we were growing up. It's like Chuck E Cheese on steroids (or Dave & Buster's on anti-depressants if you prefer) and I swear if I wasn't wearing a dress, I could have gone crazy around the place. CONS: makes you think twice about having a kid. LoL. I mean, for those that are in the deciding period. Great place for birthday parties and to take the kids to hang out. Although, I imagine it could get pretty costly after all the food, drinks, and playing cards for the little ones. But hey, at least it's smaller than Disneyland so if you lose them, they couldn't have gotten far, right?

This is where the people of Walmart come to hang out after a Walmart shopping spree in the IE. This place is just OK. Ok because the food is just OK. But it is the same ghetto ass people that I hate to be around that hang out here for fun. I took my brothers kids here a year ago for their birthdays (they are Irish twins, one year and two week apart). They LOVED this place.....I didn't!!!! The food is ALL you can eat of crap crappy fatty fat food of pasta and pizza. I have had much better food. Like a million times better. And the games are expensive. Then I have to hear "CAN WE HAVE MORE TOKINS" to do this or that....that annoys the F*ck out of me. No your broke ass can not have more tokins...get a fucking job...earn your keep. Mind you they are only 7 and 8. But I don't give a F*ck. If you want to ride the rides, then your young a** needs a J.o.B. thats JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of those places that thinks just like a kid! delicious pizza in all kinds of wacky flavors..peanut butter pizza, mac n cheese pizza, the list goes on & on! great food, great service and tons of rides and arcades for the little one's! def. recommend!

  • Chris S.

What can I say, I'm a fan. Although I come strictly for the buffet, I do appreciate the games and rides. It adds much to the already fun atmosphere. There is a great variety of pizza, plus pasta, baked potatoes, soup, salad, and desserts. Don't see the kind of pizza you like? (But you probably will.) Fill out a special request form and they will make you your pizza to your exacting specifications and no extra cost! How cool is that? My favorite: spicy peanut pizza. I guess I'll never grow up. Alcoholic beverages are available, so don't be afraid to come here, there is truly something for everyone.

Been here a couple times for bday's and the buffet is actually pretty good. It's simple.. They have a great salad bar, pizza & pasta section, dessert and some miscellaneous items. Add fried chicken to the mix and this place would be that much better. I can't remember how the games were but there are plenty.

I have always loved John's Pizza, with the exception of this location! It's ALWAYS crowded, I manage to get something stolen every time I visit, you always have to wait for the food you want, and the customer service is awefull! Right up to management. I say, skip Montclair and go to Moreno Valley, Victorville or Buena Park. I've visited all of these locations and they all have my 5 star approval!

This is the funnest family fun center I have ever been too! I only spent around 35 dollars and got a buffet and got to play games to win tickets. You can also go on fun amusement rides such as the twister and bumper cars. Its called incredible pizza company and rightly so because they got a huge amount of pizza selection from cheese to bbq chicken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To me this place is way better than Chuck E. Cheese! (wish they had this when i was a kid) But to me food and rides and games seem better! Buffalo Pizza, Mac N Cheese and Cinnamon Roll! =) I believe this one is better than the one in Buena Park, not as urban and a bunch of kids running around like crazy! Might of been since I came to this one on a Monday and the one in Buena Park on a weekend. Maybe.. Maybe not!

NOT JUST FOR KIDS :) Okay, so this is supposed to be a kid's joint. But if you're in the mood for pizza in the Montclair area, it's a pretty good stop! My husband and I will go, pay less than 20 dollars for both of us including drinks. When you walk in, you pay just to get in, which is the cost of the food. To the left is all the games for the kids, to the right, tons and tons of dining areas. They are actually divided into separate rooms. We've never had a problem finding a vacant to almost vacant room to go in, find a cozy corner and get our grub on without a bunch of kids around. There are 4 main bars... Salad and cold pastas, warm pasta and baked potatoes, the pizzas, and desserts. For the price, you definately get your money's worth. I heart the Mac and Cheese Pizza, hubby loves the Margarita Pizza. One thing I found out, was you can special order a pizza, at no cost to you, and they will call it out over the mic when it's ready. This is especailly handy on week days b/c they're not popping out the pizzas as fast so they can be not as fresh. The baked potato bar is pletiful and delish and one of my favorite spots. The dessert bar has brownies, cookies, ice cream, fresh donuts.... enough to curb your sweet tooth. Definately cool for the kids, but don't pass it up without them either :)

The kids loved this place. We were here for a birthday party. I thought it would be like the other pizza fun places but I was impressed. Huge All you can eat Buffet, you can eat the entire time you were there. The party was cute, then they ship you out of the room to make space for the next party. The twister in the middle of the restaurant is awesome along with the bumper cars and the miniature golf. My friend an I were sipping on wine while the kids had a blast. I tried the......... peanut butter pizza, it was yummy, spicky with a nutty flavor. Cheeseburger pizza, tasted like a regular cheeseburger. Garlic and Pesto pizza, was ok The hawaiian pizza as good as hawaiian gets I did feel the pizza was a little dry but when a place keeps your kids entertained for hours and hours, WHO CARES! The pasta bar was ok. My favorite was the little donuts. OMG! I could eat a whole bucket of those. TASTY! I hope people don't really come here for the food! Who goes to chuck E Cheese for Pizza, this is about entertainment to your kids and catching a break while you sip on some wine. Incredible experience. :) we'll be back here again.

This is a Birthday Party Review! Great place when you don't feel like hosting a b-day party at your house. We invited 5 adults and 8 children to JIPC for my sons 6th birthday. We ordered the package online with the children's $14.95 package and the adults package was $11.95 which does not include any games. They prepared a private room for 2 hours where we ate and the children played a couple of games with the staff. I had to supply the cake and grab bags, but the complete package came out to about $250.00. Cheaper then inviting and paying for each person individually. The children had a ball and played for 3 hours before going back for more sweets when we were not looking. This place can over stimulate your senses so be prepared and don't invite people over 60 or children under 2. All in all it is cheaper then a party I would have had at my house after food dj drinks and entertainment.

We stumbled upon this monolith while trying to find food in a land alien to us - the 909. Anyway, my first impression was that it was some sort of Chuck E. Cheese's on steroids, and that really isn't too far off. The price, thankfully, is pretty cheap ($8-9), so I found it hard to complain about the so-so food and kitschy attempts at "theming." So all in all - it is what one expects - absolute insanity with games, kids, weird pizza, etc. etc. I would not go here for great food. I would go here with a group to laugh at how ridiculous the whole place is, and then wish that Toy Story were real life.

I went here for my sons 6th birthday. It was Ok that night and my mother in law came into town a week later and I told her we needed to go..It was dirty my kids both slip on the floor, the food well there was barley anything out, dessert station was a mess, and the game room..we spent a lot of money to play and tickets would not come out and some of the games took our credits and we didn't get to play. Also a lot of the games were not working. Could of been a great time but wasted over 100.00 for not a good time!! Left with credits on our card and don't think we will go back.

Like everyone else notes, this is like a large Chuck E Cheese. Food if buffet style with a variety of pizzas and pastas and such. Food was okay. Wasn't bad, but wasn't particularly good either. Probably a place to take the kids if I had any as there's plenty of stuff to keep 'em entertained.

They should really call this place John's Inedible Pizza!! At best the pizza is mediocre if you get it fresh, IF! The pasta was nasty and the employees are better suited folding napkins. Cool place if you're one of those complacent parents that allows the tv to raise your kids and dont care how they act in public. Within 10 minutes of being allowed inside this kid throws up next to the pizza bar(He must have tried it!!)Been there twice which is 3 times too many!! The video games barely work and are a blatant credit rip-off!! If you hate Chuck E. Cheese get ready to discover a new low here if you dare! I would rate this place in turds if I could.

Omg this place is soooooo fun Iove it there's plenty of games the food is decent but their pizza is incredible!! I went here thinking its prolly a little kid joint and ended up staying for seven hours!!!! Great place had the time of my life I don't understand how any one could give this place a bad review it's the funnest place I've ever gone too.....

Oh, I love Johns. The food is nothing to write home about. But the fun! The fun is amazing. I bring my toddler and he has the best time. He begs to go back. And he loves the food. Ha! Especially the slurpy. I hate the lines on Friday and Saturdays and Sundays and so we tend to go during the week.

OMG its like the third b-day party I've been invited to here, we went with the kids and they loved it, but if your a family on a budget and just want to go somewhere this is not the place for you because you'll find you self walking around trying to find something to do (well i guess that's anywhere) luckily we don't have that problem at this moment, but this was the first time i had kids with me and wasn't expecting to spend as much as i did. I found myself at that darn card reload machine all day, lucky for me my cousin had some extra pre loaded cards they got for having a room party there (expensive). To top it all off I counted the tickets we had won and when we fed them to the machine it was a significant amount less so we got cheated, then my wife tested the machine and out, put just two tickets in and it credited her for one (so i was right). But if you wanna go somewhere and fill up on pizza and pasta this is the place for you. Family on a budget not so much. NOTE: if its you first time make sure you read what pizza you are picking up do not, i repeat do not go by sight, they have some weird flavors, just one for example peanut butter.

Very large facility, good food, and nice selection of games for the kids...however, it is way too crowded. If you have a party then you have a room but once your 2 hours is up, it is difficult to find seating in the public areas. If you have young kids, you can't just let the kids roam around by themselves. Definitely have to stay with them and keep an eye on where they are. No security checks as you leave the facility with your kids. Only one area for restrooms (that I saw) and lines can form very long...not enough for such a large and crowded facility.

    (3)
  • Benson M.

If you want to save some money, make sure not to order soda because you can tell them that you want water. then when get seated, you can go off and get yourself a coke because nobody check you. Remember kids can get really full after eating like 2 slices of pizza. Overall, there are a lot of variety of pizzas to choose from. My favorite is peanut butter pizza. Yummy. Overall I rated this place a three star. There is a hometown buffet next door if you don't feel like eating pizza.

Yes for kids but get ready to leave with a headache. the buffet looked a little to hands on. Mad house. but kids love it. can be pricey.

First few times I visited this place I really liked the place but my last experience was disappointing. The food is really good but the service is what disappointed me. We drove all the way from Thousand Oaks to do a birthday party since we don't have one out by us and because of the massive traffic issues we were late by 30 minutes. The parties are schedule by the time so I know it was our fault but the girl assisting kept complaining about it to her coworkers and making faces too even when I apologized for being late. (Very unprofessional.) The room wasn't decorated with balloons on the tables like the other rooms were and they basically kick you out as soon as your time is up. They only give 1 1/2 time in the rooms for games and eating and you can't even pay for more time as the option is not offered. The guy giving me the bill was friendly and tried to assist but there really wasn't anything he can do. It is better than Chuck E Cheese with all the rides, games and the many different varieties of pizza they carry and it is really big and roomy inside but for a birthday party I wouldn't recommend it as you are really rushed through it .

The food is okay. The apple pie wasn't that good, and once I tried to get an ICEE, it stopped working but they fixed it later. There was a pretty big variety of food there. The ice cream was very good. The main thing that saved the review was the games, which they have a lot of. If you ever go there, you have to play the laser maze game. You have to act like a spy and avoid the lasers as fast as possible. Also, it is not that hard to get a lot of tickets so that you can get cool prizes. I got a battleship like game, a water gun, and a glider. If you want like 112 tokens, you have to pay like $24.99. There are about 5 different kinds of dining rooms you can eat in. One is all nick cartoons. They all have different themes.

We went to Johnny's pizza and I must say that this place is awesome. 10 bucks per person gives you unlimited drinks, pizza, salad bar, and desserts. This is like a Sizzler's but better and less expensive. It's a mix of Chucky Cheese and Souplantation. I highly recommend this place as the food is fresh and there are many choices of pizza to choose from. The Bar B Que Chicken pizza was goooooood! This establishment is a family restaurant as the games are mostly all for children. Overall a great restaurant and I would definitely go back.

I would like to have a better review but I didn't even get to go inside! It was my stepson's birthday so we called earlier in the day to see if we should make a reservation. The person who answered said that was not necessary just to come in a little early to find a table. When we got there the parking lot was full. The line was completely out the door and to top it off it was cold and raining. CRAZY! We thought we would be troopers and stand in line. Well it did not move for the 30min. we were there. To top it off this is supposed to be a Family place and we saw not so family friendly characters. WOW! I might give this place a try again but in Buena Park, maybe we'll get in this time.

I luvvvvved this place. It was typical buffet style but there were so many choices of pizza and they will even special order your favorite pizza at no charge. The kids love it. There are many choices of games, a mini bowling lane, and bumper cars. We had a ball and will go again and again!

I have to admit, I love this place as much as my kids do. It's huge, it's fun. It's like Vegas for kids. I'll start with the food. There are several dining areas, each with a different theme. The sports room has TVs playing sports, for example. One room looks like the inside of a lodge. My kids like the cartoon room with the giant TV screen, and I've found that helpful in keeping the little ones seated. There are numerous buffets: salad, soup, potatoes, pasta, dessert, and of course pizza. Considering the sheer volume of the output at this place, the food is pretty good. There are several different types of pizza: spicy peanut, BBQ chicken (these are the premium ones and go fast), veggie, Hawaiian, plus the usual cheese and pepperoni, etc. There's also a special order "guest request." My only food complaint is that the desserts seem pretty unhealthy (cinnamon rolls, chocolate cake, cheesecake, cookies). I'm guessing there's a ton of hydrogenated oils. It would be nice if there were one lowfat option, such as frozen yogurt instead of ice cream. Of all the foods offered, the desserts seem like the lowest quality to me. Arcade section is a ton of fun and again huge, but be prepared for sensory overload. With so many games blasting, the volume in there can be a bit much. My older kid likes the crane machines and has actually won from them, which I always thought was impossible. There are so many arcade games -- from old school ones like Skeeball to newer ones like lazer tag, we haven't actually tried playing glow golf or glow bowling yet. Because there are games for all ages, parents of younger kids should be vigilant. Lots of shoot-em-up games, one featuring some pretty graphic (and creepy) zombie animation. Rides: Kiddie Convoy, Frog Hopper, Twister, bumper cars. All indoors. Rarely are there huge lines for any of these. Staff: have always been very friendly, which is not easy to do in a loud, busy place overrun with kids and parents. Everyone I've encountered has been more than helpful and are always on the go. I have never seen anyone just hanging around doing nothing. The restaurant also constantly issues customer surveys and seem very receptive to feedback. Cleanliness: bathrooms, dining area and game room have always been clean. Again, no mean feat considering the sheer volumes of people that pass through the place. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that it can get expensive. But the VIP card, kids card and occasional promotion (sign up for the email list!) help defer the costs. Love this place.

First visit tonight. Kids (3 years and 18 mos.) had an amazing time. They didn't want to leave. My first impression was this is Las Vegas for kids. Games, rides, action, noise, excitement, unlimited pizza, pasta, ice cream, slurpees, cookies, cake. What else could a kid want? As for parents, it's the desired distraction and fun you want for your child. Food isn't great but but perfect for kids. Adults may lean toward salad or baked potato bar with soup and top with cappucino. If they are a little older than mine, sit back and enjoy a glass of wine or a beer. There is a toddler area enclosed for safety so they can climb and play without bigger kids to run them over. For older kids and adults there are carnival worthy rides, the biggest I have seen in an indoor setting. Also, there is a glow int he dark putt putt room. All in all, pretty neat place. No entrance fee other than the manditory purchase of a buffet meal for each person. For adults that approaches 10.00 for dinner and almost 5.00 for kids. Children 2 and under are free. Credits for games and rides start at 15.00 for 65 credits and go up to 25.00. Most games were 2 or 3 credits, some as much as 6.

Today I used this location to host a birthday party for my daughter. It turned out GREAT! For $13 per child we received a party room and host, each kid received a balloon animal, all you can eat buffet, party games, fun cards with 50 redemption tickes, 1 free ride, and 20 fun world credits! All I had to do was provide the cake, kids, and credit card. The kids had a blast, I was able to relax and enjoy the day with my birthday child. All in all this is a great place to host a hassel free birthday!

John's is interesting and could have been great. The food is on par with any cheap buffet, the employees have no pride in their jobs and are sloppy, the employees seem to smile & are kind to the kids, and the double chinned bear mascot is just scary. The games and rides are better than the competitors. There is a row of games that are too mature for a family environment.

We had our kids birthday party here 5 years ago with about 45 friends/family and we loved it! and we been coming back ever since! We love this place! HUUUGE parking lot. Lots of seating in themed rooms, tons of games and rides all indoor! Doesn't matter if its 50 degrees outside or 115 cause all rides are inside. Its fun for the kids AND adults! The private party rooms are great too! They play games at your party with all the kids and give them little prizes! and they have strange pizzas that you think are gross til you try them and LOVE THEM! There's even healthy food, not just pizza! and it doesn't have that yuck feeling like chuck e cheese!

The pizza here is okay and different. They also have pasta that are also just okay. The best thing about this place is the restaurant is themed and has rides and arcades.

This is Chuck E. Cheese on steroids!!!! Or, think of it this way. It's a down-scaled version of Dave & Busters, but for kids. This is the place you go to take your kids for birthday parties. The food is decent. Mind you there were some interesting pizza combinations I'd never heard of (Spicy Peanut Butter and Pepperoni), the salad bar plentiful, and a small selection of desserts. In addition to the pizza and salad, John's also carries pastas, baked potatoes, and chicken fingers. FYI, they're BBQ Chicken pizza is really good. The price is decent for what you get. It's all you can eat for $8.99 (evenings/weekends for adults) and that includes a soda. It's $7.99 for seniors (evenings/weekends). Now, on to the rest of the place. It's noisy. Very, very, very, noisy. In fact, not only do they have the music blasting, but the games and the other machinery here has all of it's sounds going too. So if you're expecting an important phone call, have your phone on vibrate. Of course, this is only in the game area. The eating area is on the opposite side of the building. This is very smart on behalf of the management and the design team of John's. Each of the eating rooms are themed. I was in the Vertical room where they kept re-looping a video of skateboarders. Another one of the rooms was playing original Scooby-Doo episodes. Our room was perfect for our group because we were celebrating a birthday party for a little girl who just turned 4. It was princess themed as best it could be in a room full of skateboarding images. :) We probably won't be coming back anytime soon, only because we don't have kids. But I'm sure if there's another birthday that brings us back, we'll go. By the way, arrive by 11 a.m. It's not as crowded and you get a better pick of games to play on at that time. The later it gets, the more crowded and busy it is along with the noise level.

  • Marcella S.

My nephews love this place!! Pizza, games, rides. It's like a upgraded chucke-e-cheese. They can eat all the pizza they want and have many different choices to choose from. Usually we adults stay in the sports room to watch the games. Love to play air hockey and watch the other adults make fools of themselves while doing the dancing game.

OK, the previous reviews nailed it pretty much on the head, John's can be a 2-3 star venue if you don't prepare ahead of time. But worry not, you are reading MY review and below this very text lies directions for how to have a fun, 4-star experience. Ready? Fantastic. 1. Don't expect CPK pizza. They're better than Domino's, but you're going for the variety and quantity. Be adventurous and try the spicy peanut butter pizza. They have 12 varieties going at once so save room and don't eat the crusts. 2. Go with a group. It's more fun that way. 3. Do not go on the weekend and avoid evenings. I know this is difficult, maybe impossible for many people, but try for a weekday lunch (it's cheaper, anyway). No offense to the fine folks of San Bernardino county, but a Saturday night at John's means loud, rude, smelly and messy people. And their kids are bad too. 4. Don't play the games, they're overpriced. Except maybe glow golf or bumper cars, which are still overpriced but more fun for the money. Oh, and save $0.25 by finding an old game card near a recharge station. 5. Eat the fresh mini donuts. Because they are fresh mini donuts made right in front of your face and covered in powdered sugar! And don't be afraid to ask nicely for more if they run out. John's Incredible Pizza is a Chuck E. Cheese on steroids, and probably unlike any buffet you have been to, so stick to the guidelines and you'll be golden.

Ok so this place is a pretty busy place! I had my two boys birthday partys here yesterday & I would have to say the birthday crew were patient & extremly helpful to our guest and my birthday boys....The only thing I wish they would do is reserve @ least an hour more time to the birthday party... the time goes by so fast!.....and they have everything on a time schedule!....but overall it was organized and everyone enjoyed themselves......The food was ok decent not one of my favorite pizza joints, but it was fresh,...and always stocked with food,...if u were to come here on a regular visit, i would recommend trying to find a day its not busy lol....good luck!....throwing a birthday party here though beats Chuck .E Cheese anyday!.... sorry chucky lol!

reasonably priced pizza and related neu italian fast food. The quality is not great, and the atmosphere is terrible (loud, colorful, well-lit, themed rooms), and the staff is above average for what you'd expect. You wouldn't decide to go here for quality though, you go for quantity. If you're having one of those days where you need mass quantites of OK food, this is your place. lunch buffet is $6 plus $1.50 for drink. Dinner is $2 more. go when it isn't crowded if hyperactive children bother you.

my friend jason and i are big kids at heart. while people are age our sitting at bars and clubbing the night away-- our idea of a good night consists of john's incredible pizza company :] so we've been to john's twice-- and have been pretty happy with both experiences. of course nothing can top our first experience of walking into this costco sized chuck e cheese (sorry john, its the only thing i can compare it to!) and running around like crazy between the dessert table to the arcade. in order to get access to the plethora of arcade games, you have to pay for the buffet-- so make sure youre hungry! its not that expensive, its like +$10 for a buffet and drink for an adult. you can also opt for some package deal that they have so you can get credit for the arcade! the food is alright-- i would stay away from the over picked salad bar and save your tummy space for their pizza :] they have tons of different kinds and even take requests! my boyfriend's favorite is the chicken alfredo and mine was the barbeque ranch-- but save room for dessert, because they have freshly made mini donuts! the games are fun. jason and i like to think that when we play that one basketball game that we are burning off all of those carbs that we put on from the massive amounts of pizza and donuts we just consumed twenty minutes prior. the prizes kinda suck-- but oh well, its still fun trying to win that 10000 knock off razor scooter. but who are we kidding, jason and i both know that we arent just apart of the john's incredible pizza company VIP club for the pizza or the arcade games-- its for those little bundles of fried joy :]

I've been going here for family birthday dinners since the year they opened, which was `04 or `05. No matter what the age of the birthday, my family celebrated it there. The food is "alright."I prefer to eat the salad and lots of it. The fresh mini donuts are my favorite! But most of the time it looks more like funnel cake to me. The mini bowling, mini golf, and dizzy ride is pretty fun. The basketball game is pretty fun .. it's life sized! I gave it 3 stars because entertainment wise it won me over. On the other hand, on 2 separate occasions i found unwanted visitors roaming the floors. gross!

I am not a fan of children. And this place was infested with them!!! But this place has a really great layout. You take your kids, feed them, then let them roam freely while the adults can hide away in the many alcove dining areas to relax and do their own thing such as watch the TVs or read a book. The kids will periodically come back to show you their prized tickets, but mostly, they leave you alone. That is bliss!!! John's Incredible Pizza Company really does have pretty darn good food, especially compared to Chuck E. Cheeses. They have over a dozen varieties of pizzas. A great selection of pastas. And a pretty healthy salad bar. Everything is ALL YOU CAN EAT! My group consisted of 2 adults and 2 kids under 6. We paid a total of about $60 for all our food buffet, and also including the $25 for 119 credits + 2 rides. So I say $60 for about 3-4 hours of the kids doing their own thing is incredibly worth it!!! Invest in a set of good ear plugs and you'll be set!

This pizza and pasta buffet is one gargantuan restaurant. It is built inside the old Home Base building. The price is OK $8 all you can eat and $1.50 for a drink. I think it is pretty cheep to charge separate for a drink at a buffet. The food is just so so but defiantly better than Chuck Y Cheese. The pasta was over cooked and the pizza was just OK. The desserts seemed to have been sitting for a while. The employees really don't seem to enjoy their jobs at all. The ambiance wasn't too bad. I liked the way that they themed different dinning rooms. They have 5 themes, extreme sports, cartoons, Sports, Rock and roll, and log cabin. There is also a large game area with lots of wasted space and over priced games. If it were my restaurant I would have made it two stories of games and cut the cost of each game in half. I would actually pay the employees decent so there would actually be some moral. This would have brought way more people in and would keep them coming back. I give this restaurant another year if something doesn't change.

When my girlfriend told me about this place,I thought of Chuck E. Cheese (loud, dirty, terrible food). So when we went for her nephews birthday,I was not so excited. When we got there, first impression is that this place is HUGE! Price was very good for all you can eat pizza. The selection was great, food was hot, and tasteful. It wasn't just cheese or pepperoni pizza that tasted like it had cheap toppings,it was actually pretty good (compared to fast food pizza). Their macaroni cheese pizza is worth the adventure. I saw their pizza with peanuts (in a shell),but didn't try it. My girlfriend loved it. Alcohol is an additional charge, but worth it considering they have free dessert also. Games are extra charge but fun. And the cleanliness? The staff were all teenagers, but really were on top of things on making sure things were clean. I continuously saw the staff cleaning, & wiping things down. Great first (hopefully not last) experience. This place is like Dave and Busters but pizza! Great place for kids and family.

people couldnt have said it better Chuck E Cheese on steroids! i went here for the first time a couple weeks before i graduated from college, talk about losing the freshmen 15 then regaining it all back on one lunch break the pizza isnt the best but it is edible they go on the concept of quantity then quality when i am a true believer that less is better because it shows more attention to detail and better quality the rides and games are a bit overpriced but they have a wide selection D&B's would be more to my liking because I can drink and play without getting pestered for tokens by little germmy kids with snot bulbs an all I came here with a couple friends because one of them had been here several times before and raved about the peanut butter pizza but sadly they didnt have any that day the maguerita pizza was a-okay would i go here again: eh, maybe.. it's pretty cheap for lunch and a drink better if you go with a group

What a pleasant surprise! I came here for my nephew's 7th birthday party and thought it was going to be a disaster but ended up really enjoying it! I don't have any children, and I'm too old to be playing arcade games so I thought I was gonna be bored and expected the food to be awful since it's a kids arcade place and it's a pizza buffet. To be fair, the food isn't "great" but it's definitely not bad at all. For less than $10 (adult), you get a standard salad bar, a pasta bar (you can get the ones that are already made with sauce or get plain pasta and add the sauce you like), a pizza bar (seriously over 15 different flavors), a dessert bar (pretty good options plus soft serve machine), and all the fountain drinks, coffee machine, even an ICEE machine! Since we had a group reservation, we got to sit in one of the individual "rooms" during our reserved time, and while the adults are busy stuffing our faces, there was a staff member that came into the room to play games with the kids. The kids LOVED all the games and the adults LOVED that we didn't have to do it and could just sit back and watch the entertainment (it was hilarious). After our time is up, we simply moved into the common areas and continued to eat and chat while the kids played in the arcade. There are plenty of seating areas inside with different theme rooms that you can choose from. There's even a bar for alcoholic drinks and some of the rooms were playing football on HUGE screens. I think it's a great place for kids bday parties if you don't want to deal with the hassle of hosting at home and you want to make it at least somewhat enjoyable for your adult guests.

John's Incredible Pizza is like Chuck E Cheese on steroids. This pizza joint makes C.E.C look weak. Where do I begin? I know, the theme rooms. Plenty for everyone from a sports area, to a quite cabin style room, and our favorite, the cartoon room. If you enjoy cartoons on Boomerang make your way in here to watch the Flintstones or Jetsons. Next is the food. The pasta and salad are pretty good. You have plenty of options for your fresh salad and a good variety of pasta with sauces. The dessert bar is awesome. You will find donuts, chocolate cake and ice cream with plenty of toppings. The food highlight of J.I.P is the pizza. The pizza selection is incredible, the name says it. The usual toppings, veggie, pepperoni, extra cheese and Hawaiian pizza. The not so usual Macaroni & Cheese, BBQ Chicken Ranch, Garlic Pesto, Fiesta (like a bean burrito), and the Peanut Butter Pizza. The slices are small so you can take a bite of each one. My favorite are the Macaroni & Cheese and the BBQ chicken, yum. I was impressed with the beer and wine selection. They have Widmer Hefeweizen and Blue Moon beer, I know good beer. Don't forget the Robert Mondavi wines, Zinfandel, Chardonnay and Merlot. Great job J.I.P with the alcohol. This gives you guys the 5 stars ;o) Next are the rides and games. We had fun bowling, playing air hockey, shooting, video games, rides and playing glow in the dark golf. Yes, glow in the dark golf. The best part is going home and having three boys wiped out because of J.I.P, oh yeah!

I still can't give them more than three stars, but I sure enjoyed a fattening lunch here with Adam B. yesterday. We did a morning hike on the Claremont Hiking Trail and decided that it would do us well to stuff our stomachs full at John's afterward. GREAT decision. We paid $6.99 each with two drinks orders at $1.79 each. The total came out to just a tad over $18 and we made sure we ate just as much food, if not more. We had nothing to do with the arcade and games part of the place, so some of the adrenaline that makes John's seem more incredible than it really is didn't kick in. But, we still enjoyed ourselves. I had myself four plates of amazing fatty goodness - five slices of pizza, mac and cheese, pasta, cheesecake, red velvet cake, cut corn, canned fruit, and mixed veggies. Adam B. had almost twice as much and we were full within 90 minutes. Seriously, I could barely dodge the kids running around all over the place on our way out. My only gripe is the fact that the state of their restrooms is appalling. It's strange that they would have so many employees running around the dining rooms, constantly cleaning, and yet not a single person manning the restrooms. Any amount of common sense would clue you in to the disaster that can be the combination of young kids and a row of toilets. Let's just say, I only went in to wash my hands and I felt dirtier walking out than I did going in. Anyways, not my usual fare, but the experience was memorably filling.

Terrible, terrible, terrible experience!!! My family's first trip to this run down place. Everything is in disarray. The games are broken, lack of employees, rude employees, dishonest employees. Food was the worse I have ever had in my entire life. They make you buy their terrible buffet in order to gain admission and as a result, they make no effort to provide you with good tasting food...everything tasted like it was from a can. Also, the food was not hot and many of their bins empty. The manager seemed very very unfriendly, as if she did not like to be working there. What a miserable place...our family will NEVER be back! Did I mention the roaches!? STAY AWAY!!!

It is the day after New Year's Day - 02 January 2015. I know that school is still out and so I expected a big crowd. When we arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find open spaces in the parking lot. Inside, the crowd was not nearly as large as expected. The young ladies at the check-in were smiling and polite. However, almost everything that came after was a TOTAL disappointment. The entire facility seemed understaffed. In each "room" nearly every table was piled up with dirty dishes. I had to go in the small staff area in the Log Cabin room just to get some paper towels and water to clean a table for my family to use. In the 45 minutes or so, while we were eating, not one staff member entered to clear any tables. All of the "rooms" we're in the sad condition. Additionally, The food serving area was a mess. Bits of food everywhere. No clean plates, spoons, or forks to be found. Pizza was only being brought out about 3 at a time. Lines were waiting and only about the first 3 or 4 in line got any pizza before it was gone. The desert line was a sticky and crumby mess. I won't even mention the poor state of the restrooms.... Overall, I was SO DISAPPOINTED. I had not been here in about a year and was very much looking forward to my visit. Hopefully this situation - which seemed like a staffing issue- will be addressed and fixed.

This review is for the food only. The best thing on my plate was the baked potato. Odd, Considering the name of this place. They only had 3 pasta sauce options, the Alfredo sauce was soo thick and flavorless. Garden pesto was better. The pizza, was meh. I tried 4 different types. The better ones were the vegetarian and chicken buffalo, but even then they still weren't great. Being memorial weekend There were so many people but they had a small selection of food, what the hell? People were literally waiting on the sidelines for a new tray of food. even the sweets weren't my favorite, and I have a mean sweettooth!. Left me feeling like I ate frozen flavorless pizza. Disappointed, I remember this food being better.

My roommates and I love heading to John's Incredible Pizzas for the amazing deal on delicious pizza, salads, and desserts. We were greeted by Mirtiza and she was very kind and explained to us all the options. Just by her amazing customer service we were excited for our John's Incredible pizza. We would recommend this location to all our friends and look forward to going again soon. Thanks Mirtiza, thanks John. You guys are incredible!

Well....I like it better than Chuck E Cheese, if that says anything. Reminds me of Vegas for kids. Lots of lights, lots of noise, and so much going on. There are video games, carnival prizes, even some indoor amusement park rides. How did they fit a miniature bowling alley and bumper cars in the place, I don't know. The food... think carbs, there was endless choices of pasta and pizza. For the health conscious, there is a full salad bar. The buffet is located in a central area and the are themed banquet rooms. There are plenty of private rooms for birthday parties. The service... manned by an army of high school kids, is neither good or bad. You'll catch an occasional roll of the eyes catering to out of control screaming tiny tykes and overbearing parents. However, I was impressed with one server, as she went out of her way to make an extra balloon animal for a late comer. She didn't have to as the party was well on it's way and there was lots to do. I suppose it's more the person than the training though. I was impressed. Maybe I need to be 12 to appreciate it more, the kids all seemed to like it though. With that said, I acknowledge it for what it is... they provide a service that caters to parents with kids. The place is a home run for parties and you'll be known as the cool mom or dad at your kid's middle school. Confessional... you have to try spicy peanut butter pizza, like you have to try fried Twinkies once in your life. Two stars for an adult, but I'm sure it'll hit three or four stars when I have a twelve year old. But as always, let me know what you think...

This is a cool place to hang out with the family and let the kids go wild during THE OFF HOURS. I recommend staying away on the weekend unless you like hanging around with low-lifes.

This is the equivelant of Las Vegas for kids. It is a huge place with endless amount's of games and activities. From your arcade games, to bowling to bumper cars. Your kids, or even the kid in you will probably have a good time here. We set up our niece's 4 b-day here so we got our own private room. The staff was great and, had games set up to play with the kids. There are table's all over the place so there is no shortage of where you can sit. They also have 2 seperate dining room's, one of which has a big screen, so was able to catch my Steeler's in action. There is a bar that serves beer only. Your option's consist of Bud, Bud Light, Stella, Hef and Newcastle. The food was surprisingly good. It is buffet style with endless amount of pizza options. The macarroni pizza was probably my favorite. The also serve pasta's and salad. Overall it is a cool spot to came hang out with the kiddo's, or to come get away from them and have some fun yourself.

I brought my family here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The first thing that disappointed me was, regardless whether your eating or not, you must pay the $12+ just to enter. It just happened that I was on an all juice detox and had no intentions of eating. I had to pay anyway. I understand why they do this, so people don't just walk in, not pay and still eat the buffet. There has to be another way to solve this issue. Wrist bands or something. It's not right to charge people who are not eating. I should of left, but I promised the kids games and pizza. I took a good look at the buffet, it looked pretty good and looked fresh. Lots of different pizza's and pasta to choose from. A big dessert area too. Great for kids! My parents were not disappointed in the food, which says a lot, because they are the first to criticize food. The biggest complaint I had was the temperature in the room called, Cabin Fever. I asked if the thermostat could be adjusted, several managers looked at it, but the temp never changed so we all had to get up and move to the Fusion room. It was better. Now I know why that was called Cabin Fever. Over all- the price is a bit high especially because I didn't eat. The games and rides are great and my 13 year old son had a good time. Seems like the over cleanliness was okay, but the carpets are filthy and really need to be cleaned. Plan on spending $75-$100 for a family of 4 after purchasing a game card which range from $15-25. Compared to a Chuck E Cheese, John's IPC is much better for Tweens on up.

Celebrating my sons 16th birthday the kids had fun, end of night we went to car so my wife could change her shoes we were gonna wait outside but boys were taking long so we walked back in. Prepared to show our receipt Ben the supervisor acted like a police officer in an accusing tone and very condescending tone didn't bother reading our receipt but instead asked us 100 questions what time we arrived and what the cashier looked like that rang us up. (We had been there for 3 hours, and the place was not full of guest) he quickly got on his mic asking others if they recognized us! They said no, the crazy thing is we stood at the exit for more than 5 minutes in front of the girl who didn't recognize us and he continue they don't recognize us! We were so upset that I told Ben not to be so disrespectful and he in return told us we I was disrespectful to him for not wanting to be interrogated! I understand the policy but the interrogation was extreme and embarrassing! Thanks for ruining a nice family outing Ben! Worst 150.00 we spent.

I love coming to eat here with my whole extended family.. The pizza combos are very unique, they have the richest mac and cheese and the flufiest breadsticks. The restaurant is always clean. The only thing I do not like is their desserts. They are absolutely awful. Everything except the doughnuts tastes like it was made from a box mix. I also wish they have more vegetarian friendly pizza options. :(

Great variety of pizzas! Much better than Chucky Cheese! Definitely a better deal than Dave n Buster's and you can go back for more food if you like! The gaming "fun card" offers more ways to play plus you can use it for the rides. That's right .. they have cool rides inside this place which is a blast! If you like drinks they have a bar next to the cappuccino stand. The salad bar was great and the pizzas keep on coming and if the one you like is not there at the time you get there just asked them and they will make the pizza right away. They have a Slurpee maker next to soda fountain plus ice tea if you like. I like the Margarita and the Alfredo pizza the best. The Buffalo and BBQ pizza's came in the second. For desserts you have a pick between the swirl ice cream, cookies, cheese cake and velvet chocolate cake and a few others I never had a chance to try since there was such a variety. Different pasta's as well with a variety of sauces all for a reasonable entry fee less than $10 for adults, senior discounts and kids under 6 just $5 ... that's definitely a smoking deal for under $10 in an all you can eat buffet!

More like a 2.5 . . . Chuck E Cheese's on CRACK I felt like I walked on to the set of Jersey Shore for 8 yrs olds. My gf's sister booked a party for her 6 yr old's birthday party. If I were 6 or 8....this would be like clubbing in Hollywood. This place was filled with the "hometown buffet crowd" I am by no means the bougie high maintenance type, but I would never have my kid's bday party here. It was so crowded and the food is only appetizing for an 8 yr old. I give them props for having a really good salad bar though. Pro's: All you can eat Games and rides that would rape chuck e cheeses Extremely attentive party staff Con's: Pizza for 6 yr olds (Mac and cheese on pizza . .Peanut butter pizza) Crowded on the weekends $15-$17 PER person I'll stick to my potlucks at the community park.

I freaked out when I first found out this place existed. How could such an amazing place go unnoticed? You pay for admission to enter. Everyone gets access to the pizza buffet but the games and rides are extra. The pizza was decent. They tasted freshly baked but the toppings were sparse. The spicy peanut butter pizza is John's signature pizza. While not exactly amazing, it delivered some interesting flavors. The best part of the buffet was the salad bar. All the veggies looked fresh and the display was well maintained. The donuts deserve special recognition because they tasted more like a miniature funnel cakes than donuts. This location has bumper cars, the twister ride, a miniature golf course, bowling and kiddy rides. Business on weekday afternoons are slow which means John's has less staff operating the rides. This has its advantages and disadvantages.

I went there with my 2 kids. They had a blast. They loved all of the games. Pizza was very good. With a huge variety. Plus, they had a huge salad bar with a lot of options to chose from. The place was very clean, and the staff was very nice and polite. I only had one issue with the place. You have to buy a ticket to enter the place. So, be prepared to eat because even if you don't eat, you still have to purchase a meal. Also, the girl add the register just added a drink onto my bill. I didn't want a drink, Because I wanted to drink water. When I questioned why my bill was a little bit more than I had expected, she had a little bit of an attitude with me. But over all, we had a wonderful time.

This is an awesome place to setup a birthday party! Definitely 5 steps up from Chuck E Cheese. Its definitely not cheap, but they offer several different packages to help you work with your budget. They have many private party rooms that step out into a huge play area that has almost every game imaginable outside of actual carnival rides. Think of a sober D&B's The food is just okay, as what would be expected from places like these, but at least you get tons of options. Salads, pizza, desserts, they have something for almost everyone, so they get a star for that, even if it's not the tastiest. In any event, people don't come here with the sole purpose of eating anyway. They come here because the kids and even some adults find it totally fun and entertaining. Even bigger plus, no cleaning up after the party!

The staff here are extremely unprofessional and the facility is unkept. I took my family here today and bought drinks but once I got inside I realized everyone could get drinks without paying because the staff wasn't checking to see who paid and who did not. I spoke with Chuck (the manager) about this issue but I didn't see anything done to change it. Before leaving the facility I went into the woman's restroom with my child only to see blood drops all over the toilet seat. I immediately brought this to Chuck attention due to it being a clear safety hazard. Chuck seemed unbothered by the bloody toilet seats so I took my child and went home to bathe.

This place is always packed on the weekends. i don't recommend it. If you DO go you should go during the week. I hate how they only have one person at the register whether they have a 20 person line or not. That's really frustrting..but the main reason why idon't come here is because they hardly have any food here. It's like getting school lunch...maybe they do that because so many schools take field trips here? idk, but the pizza is okay and the desserts are good too, anyway if they had more food out at once iwould definately come here more often..shame

Their public health rating is a C! Came here for a team party just recently (about 2 weeks ago) and was stunned to see a C - I still tried some food though. You first have to pay the all-you-can-eat buffet price. The buffet includes a salad bar, pastas, variety of pizzas, dessert, and drinks. The food was bleh - I definitely did not eat to my heart's content. I would however recommend the peanut butter pizza - it was interestingly tasty. This place is huge. You can't miss it from the street. There are private party rooms each with a different theme, games, rides, indoor mini golf (which didn't look that great), and mini bowling. I will come back only if there is another gathering or celebration, but probably not on my own accord.

3.5 stars Chuck E. Cheese on steroids = John's Incredible Pizza! Not only are there games, there is also private party rooms, rides (twister/bumper cars), mini golf, mini bowling and better food variety. Must pay the price of the all you can eat to come in. Fun for all ages! I attended a birthday party here this past weekend. We had a reserved party room to seat 16 people for 1 hour and 45 minutes as part of the package. We were provided a pizza and 2 pitchers of drinks in the room for convenience. Our host was sweet and engaged the kids in fun activities during the duration we were in the room. All you can eat salad bar, pasta, variety of pizzas, dessert, and drinks (including ICEE). I hate all you can eat simply because I lack self control! Was really excited to see the ICEE machine there.. yum SUGAR!! The food was all mediocre but I wasn't expecting a 5-star meal here. Games were reasonable. I believe we had 50 credits and 2 rides within each play card. All lasted a while! We ended up staying for almost 5 hours!!! I would avoid the restroom at all costs if possible.... Private parking lot, however it was REALLY packed when we came at 4pm on a Saturday.

This is my first time here, in fact I'm still here sitting and writing this review. I arrived here to try the buffet, which I was hoping would be a buffet but is literally a really long shot away from being called an all you can eat buffet. This place has a good range of different types of pizza, however, if that's the the signs told me because I never actually got to try but three of them because there wasn't anything else. Everything in this "buffet" is not available, save yourself the money and go else where because this place isn't going to care.

Went here a couple of Sundays ago. I've been to the one in Victorville and wanted to compare this location to that one. Noticed that it was very busy and parked in the over-flow parking area. Waited in line for a few minutes to pay and get in. Once inside the first thing I noticed is that they have a huge ride and game area. Because they are way busier than the Victorville location their food is fresher due to the higher turn over rate. The thing I didn't like is that their pizza is sliced way thin compared to the normal sized slices you get anywhere else. It was hard to find a table to sit down and eat at. In talking with one of the guys who works there, he said they were unusually busy for a Sunday. Johns Incredible is known for their peanut butter pizza. They had it here. The one in Victorville you have to ask for it most of the time.

Where do I begin? This place is a large facility, a step up from Chuck E Cheese. They have rides & games along with a buffet of salads, pizzas, pastas, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes & all the fixings. A dessert section. Donuts galore, typical cakes, brownies, cinnamon rolls, & a soft serve ice cream dispenser. Food wasn't horrible. Their pizzas were actually decent. AYCE beverages & ICEE. There's a Beer & wine counter. We were situated in the party room. Each table was decorated with a sign of the Birthday person's name with different balloons stuck into it. The staffs working the party room were nice. They cleared the tables when you're done eating. They helped passed out the cakes once it was cut up. Not issues here. Why 1 star? Here's the problem... The gaming area seemed under staffed & games were not maintained. Half of the game machines were Out Of Order! So we were limited to games to play & long lines were formed. Swiped our cards & money was taken out, the game didn't work. It was very difficult to find a staff to help. We wasted more time trying to look for someone to help us. We gave up. Ventilation was terrible. Imagine being in a warm sweaty locker room. Eww, the air smelled sweaty, stinky.... just foul. There were some rides. A little train on a track for the little ones, a spinning/swing ride, a "sling shot" type ride, & bumper cars . Some games gave "tickets" directly onto then card but there were some that spit out paper tickets. Once you've had your fill of playing on the limited games thay were working or ran out of money because the machines ate it & didn't work....walk over to these ticket machines. Feed the tickets in, once all are fed through, hit the black button then scan your card to have the ticket amount credit onto your card..... well..... that didn't work. Now I really needed help. Almost 300 tickets didn't credit to my card. Finally found someone to help. She was wearing a red baseball cap with a name tag "Damis". She wasn't very friendly. Didnt even cracked a smile. When I explained the problem, she just asked for my card. She was looking up something on the computer then asked if i had any other cards. I said yes then gave 4 more to her. She continued to look at the computer. Then gesture me to follow her over to another counter. I am guessing the lady that approached us was a supervisor. Damis handed her a card. The amount of tickets were entered into that card. Then she Damis handed me 3 cards. I asked her if she combined my other ones into these, she said no. So i asked her where are the other 2? I had a total of 5 cards. She said, "No, you only gave me 3".... so I said no.... There were 5. So we walked back & she picked up a card & said maybe this is yours. By this time, I was already annoyed & upset. I was done. I am ready to leave this terrible place. I will not be coming back.

My 2nd time here with family (first since November 2000). I had AYCE with beverage (extra$)--some food choices and quality decent though didn't care for runny bleu cheese dressing on salad bar and potato fritters are spicier than Shakey's Pizza but good. Hope to return since I also like they have 5 different sections. Sports on TV which we are at, music videos, Disney XD channel was on this one that has pictures of skateboarders and other extreme sports, Disney Junior channel for the one that has children's birthday parties, etc. and one called Cabin Fever form those who don't want TV at all (most quiet area). Hope to return.

Food here looked very dry. On a slow Thursday afternoon there is no real selection and what they had was not replenished. Ice cream station was dirty. Our plates were never picked up. I watched the Manager walking around not doing much. I guess food is not a priority here.

My first time here, I took my nephew who is 3 years old, we the best time for hours on only $30. Love the staff, love the games, love the variety in food & drink. Dawayne was the best employee, so helpful & courteous, excellent customer service! Great place to take kids & keep them entertained, not to mention I had a great time myself. They have rides, games & play area for the young ones, fun for all ages!! I will definitely be back!

Crummy food looks old and they keep bringing out the same kinds of pizza. I have a picky daughter and she only wanted cheese pizza so i asked if the could make some but they never did so i had to pick pepperoni off and she didn't like the pizza or anything else they had such a waste of time and ill never come here again. Staff that avoid contact... so frustrating not worth coming to. Should be called john's crummy pizza

We have come here three times over the past year and it's gone down hill. It's way over crowded on the weekends. We waited for twenty minutes to sit down and fight for a table, when you have kids you don't want to stand around waiting watching for people to leave. It is unorganized. They should be getting tables for the people waiting. Very poor service. Bathrooms were smelly and dirty. The place in general was very messy. The food was half a star. The salad was in a bucket of water. The water was literally to the top. I bought the most expensive playing card and still have money left. Unfortunately I don't even want to return to use it. Maybe I'll try a week day again.

There is a John's near where I grew up. My mother actually had it pretty easy with me when I was a teenager, and one of the "worst" things I got caught doing in high school was getting caught at John's, holding a boy's hand. Now that I'm in my 30s, I like to come here to hold hands freely with my boyfriend. It makes me feel so grown-up. Anyway, on to the actual review. As another review said, this place is like Vegas for kids. In a nutshell, there are more activities and more food variety, but it's much more expensive. This is quantity over quality. With the Chuck E. Cheese comparisons it gets, we usually prefer to go there. FOOD/DRINKS: You must purchase the buffet dinner if you want to come inside at all. The food isn't bad, but it gets to be pretty expensive for an outing. There should be some sort of option to visit without ordering food, especially since the 2 areas are already separated.... Like discounted game cards with food purchase, etc. The very carb-y buffet includes a salad bar, soups, baked potatoes, a pasta/sauce bar, and all kinds of pizza (try the peanut butter once, but it's spicy!) There's also a dessert bar. You can get to be pretty creative with all of the options. They also have draft beer and wine.... beer is around $4 - $5, while wine is $8. I'm not sure why it's restaurant prices, especially with the small pours they give. If you visit Chuck E, you can get a much better pour for $4. Much happier adults. Where they fail here is the setup. Which brings me to..... ATMOSPHERE: Let's be real, kids aren't here for the food. The 7-year-old we usually take always rushes through his dinner, knowing that the bright, flashing lights of Vegas are just a 20-yard dash away and that the only thing separating him from video game heaven is making it look like he finished his pizza. At Chuck E. Cheese, the tables are incorporated into the game area, so that parents can sit and eat while being able to easily watch their child play games. Separating the food from the games means that you have to rush through that buffet you just paid for. John's also gets CROWDED unless you come on a weekday evening. Maintenance and cleanliness start to slip. The last time I visited, there were NO clean plates, and patrons were leaving their dirty plates near where the clean ones should be, on tables, etc. I asked a server, and he told me they were washing the plates and more would be ready in 15 minutes. WTF? There are several large dining rooms, and it's unfortunate that only one doesn't have a TV screen, especially when you come here for family time and would prefer your child to interact with you. On this particular crowded day, some of the dining rooms also started to smell unpleasant and we had to move tables a few times to avoid that. There is a HUGE variety of arcade games, a lazer maze, kiddie rides, bumper cars, skee ball, and even mini golf and bowling. The "rides" are purchased separately from the game tokens; usually one or two rides is included with each game card package. You can rent rooms for parties, too. Definitely enough to keep a kid happy for a long time. In short, John's is fun for kids and offers a plethora of food and games, but there are too problems with their setup and we usually feel more comfortable going to Chuck E, where we don't worry as much about safety or getting the most for our money.

Tasteless food, most of the trays are empty, salad bar is ok, but dressing is tasteless also. the kids are here for the arcades. Would not suggested this place to anyone. Won't be back.

This is the first time I can recall ever seeing a C rating posted. I asked to know why and they made up an excuse about some cups were turned up . Seemed wrong so I insisted on the Manager showing me the report. He did but was evasive. I should have known. Outside there is lots of Trash piled up, cans overflowing. We continued because grandson was insisting. Worst, dirtiest restroom ever. I'll call Health Dept. tomorrow for sure.

Came here for a birthday party. For kids, its great, I do prefer it over Chuck E Cheese any day. The pizza is much better and the arcade room a bit newer and nicer looking than most CC. Service is fine, it can get dirty and busy, but they are pretty good about cleaning up after people's messes. And some of those are huge, I don't get if it is a buffet, that people have to be extra sloppy, would not want to work here. The buffet is a big selection, more than just a few pizzas, appreciate the salad bar and desserts. In all, I would never come here just to eat or have my son play, but for a birthday it sure is practical to have kids run around there vs making a mess at your house. Prices are more than fair, they also have coupons and specials.

Have always loved coming here, but today our party experienced an extra plus. Corey, our waiter was such a great employee. Went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and taken care of. So energetic and enthusiastic!! Definitely made us feel like we were at an expensive restaurant with special treatment. Yay for Corey!!!!

This is only my second review on Yelp, so I don't usually review anything, but I just had my son's birthday party at JIPC this weekend and the staff was so, so, so wonderful that I felt like I had to post something. The manager was so sweet. She really catered to our requests and she always had a smile on her face. The staff that helped out in the room made sure that my son's party was special. They helped us set up, played games with the kids, made balloon animals, coordinated the cake singing, packed up our gifts for us and cleaned up. I would not hesitate to have my son's party there again. They were so great! Thank you, JIPC! Update: I just want to say something about all the comments on the food. I mean, seriously, you are not going there for the food, I hope you're not expecting 3 Michelin stars. You go to places like this to give your kids a fun experience.

  • Ken R.

Food is okay. 90% carbs and a salad section. Games are good for the kids. Although half the games and rides my kids wanted to play weren't working. The reason why only two stars...While eating, I saw an employee handling the pasta noodles with his bare hands. Didn't care at all. He was just picking up handfuls of the pasta, one after the other, with total disregard. I let another employee know, and she apologized, but I highly doubt anyone else will be informed. Needless to say, I won't be bringing my family here to eat ever again!

    (2)
  • Desiree G.

Exactly what you would expect for a buffet style. 1/4 noodles were cooked all the way. Salad bar is basic, and the pizza is decent. Good thing is you can go during lunch hour ($8) and the unlimited drinks ($2) has a wide variety including Icees.

Do not come here on a weekend Do not come here if you're super hungry Do not come here if you're not here to play the arcade games DO NOT COME HERE SUPER HUNGRY. This place gets insanely packed on the weekends. It's kinda hard to find seating even though there are a few rooms to sit in: Overall, good for kids but bad if you're hungry and want quality food. It's edible.

So not happy! I've been coming here for years with my family but tonight was our last. Filthy the floor carpet and tile looked like ppl actually eat off it even outside in front by trash can was filthy. Also I went to change my baby even the diaper station in restroom is so unsanitary I was afraid something was living in it. I told them they said they would clean it honestly they need a new one it was just awful :( there must be new management :(

Living all my life in the 209, we constantly used to visit the Johns there. When we moved to LA we didnt know there was any Johns here, but upon searching we found one! Although it is an hour away from where i live, we drove up here today and enjoyed our day. Brought back memories. Will be back... Although im hoping they do open up a Johns in the Woodland Hills area.

Not what I expected at all, I have special dietary needs but the cashier kept repeating she was charging admission so I asked why did you ask if I wanted a drink? The receipt is tallied by the buffet and drink. She finally agreed to GV me a senior discount which I took but angered me that she thought I was old ! Vain I know but that's what I felt. I paid then asked for their corporate office's phone number, she replied"do you want me to get my manager?" I said no " just your corporate's number. She brought it to me , I said Ty and went to get food which was mediocre at best , not a good presentation of food. I asked for more spinach and it looked like she just threw it in the container! I was there for a birthday party otherwise I would've walked out in the beginning! Would I return? Only if someone important to me asked.

I gotta say when i was outside coming in seeing that many little kids screaming and running around wild made my head spin. The Idea of fair like rides that is catered to babies to adults is pretty genius! Prices are fair and allows all types of patron, food was good enough where i came back for seconds and desserts were not bad either! I love how they had icey machines like at 7/11 but this type of place can def make fat people FATTER and were all about getting America to be healthier ! Regardless, though some of the games were deteriorating as the night goes on and things weren't working anymore we were still able to play most of what this Chuck E Cheese on crack were able to offer us. A glow in the dark mini -miniii golf course, a bowling area (not real bowling) bumper cars , laser room all of this is the perfect place to celebrate a childs birthday! they had party rooms where 2 facilitator keeps your child and the group happy by playing games and cutting cakes. to the north part of this huge establishment lies a section for adults to watch the games and drink some beer. Gotta say this John guy is pretty gosh darn smart to cover all his corners! We ended up staying there from 7pm till 11pm - crazy right? The nice patient people collecting our tickets were super kind for dealing with my indecisiveness!

This place is so disgusting. First off, rating is a freakin C, but i only still paid to entry because of the basketball game was on. This place should be closed. Cold pizza, fountain drinks are water down and the employees have the rudest attitude. I wasted money. DO NOT GO HERE, STAY AWAY. There's a papa johns across the street, take that home and get a redbox and you'll have a way better time at your own place with better food. I wish i could give it a negative 5 star.

This place is ok for food . But they are not on top of keeping their games working . We have had to wait numerous times for them to refill the ticket machine and get the games working . Will not be coming back . Not worth the money at all. Oh and their attendant Dwayne is super rude and not friendly at all.

The food at this location is great. Fresh ingredients for the salad and pizza hot and cheesy! My hubby loves the spicy peanut butter pizza. You can always ask them to make a certain pizza and they happily do it within 6 minutes. The games, rides and miniature golf are awesome!! However, my godson had his 5th birthday party and they will NOT let you go in without paying the buffet price ($11.99 + tax) which isn't too bad for a weekend buffet but I didn't plan to eat since I'm trying to watch my girlie figure haha. I just felt cheated that I had to pay even though I didn't want to eat. We just came to celebrate with him. Also, My aunt and uncle just came from a dinner party and ended up just not coming because they weren't going to pay $25 to drop off a present and stay an hour. Sad. Oh and that bear they advertise in the pic... He only stayed like 2 minutes to give a box of cotton candy and took off... He could of at least stayed to sing Happy Birthday like The rat at Chuck E Cheese. Lastly, you on have a party room for a certain time and they kick you out! :( I guess this is more of the party reservations. Wish they would improve that. Employees are nice but the barrooms can also use a bit of work.

Let's see where should I start? I guess I will focus mostly on food (the games were fun but let's be real, people want to know about the food) The food is typical buffet food so don't come here expecting 5 star quality, you pay $9 so adjust your standards of pay and quality. I do appreciate the fact that John's incredible is sensitive to allergies in people's needs that everything was labeled either gluten-free or vegetarian, etc. I will note that I think John's should offer more vegan options or let's just say nondairy options. Yes there are people that are vegetarian and gluten free but they're also people that have dairy and egg allergies and it would be nice to offer something to them as well. This place really comes off as a family and kid oriented place so we want to be as inclusive as possible. Lots of drinks options! I do enjoy the different areas: the sports area, quiet area, theater area etc. As for the games, they were basic like most places, everything here is quite colorful and alive. I enjoyed a virtual ride game! This place really has the potential to be great, just have to see what develops.

Pros: - good games. A lot of indoor rides games minigolf etc. - workers are friendly - all u can drink and eat - good for kids' parties - spacious private rooms with several waitstaff - indoor bumpercar and awesome mini golf action - coffee was surprisingly good with no sugar / cream - mediocrity food quality but what do you expect... Cons - questionable cleanliness.....on food, plates, trays, cups etc. I read the reviews from yelp before attending a family friend's kid's birthday party. Everything negative that was said on yelp about this place is pretty much true. First off. I didn't see LA county inspector grading on the front. (I may be wrong) As soon as I grabbed the tray and the the plates I see this wet goo of half washed meat /dark vegetable like substance on the tray, then I put that one and went through 5 more trays until I found one without anything. Same with the plates. Omg...such an appetite killer. They should focus upgrading the pizza quality. Yes they have a lot of selection but still the pizza doesn't even come close to the ones at local shakes pizza... especially when the place name is called something "incredible pizza" ..yes it is incredible that they sell these pizzas and I ate them. I was hungry... Drinks. Omg I saw the unidentified meat/veggie goo again on multiple occasions upon picking the 'washed' cups from the rack. I think they use a machine washer for these plates and cups etc and don't use any sort of soap. Food quality is definitely below average. Average = pizza hut for me. After seeing the gooey stuff I was carefully selecting all thing I ate. I skipped fried chicken. I really wonder if they'd been inspected by the county. Don't go there expecting nutritious or at least tasting food. I'm definitely not coming back for the food. Games and other entertainment is better or more kid friendly than DB , shakeys. Adults. Do not come here for yourselves. if you are invited to a kids party take some probiotics before and after.

This location is not what it seems one of the managers Megan did not show any customer appreciation after the seriously flaw system used to monitor your tokens can be wiped out... As in the other reviews from yelp has mentioned... Not to mention the staff actually is aware and does nothing to accommodate you once you've spent your money... If you don't mind waiting for plates, food, and or service.. Than this is the place for you... the management is horrible and the bathroom smell worse than a truck stop!!! If there was an option to give no stars that's what the rating for this location would get from me because it's no where near an 1 star establishment...

It's like Chuck E Cheese minus the creepy animatronics. Cleanliness is questionable, but I get that there are hoards of children to keep up after. Staff isn't very professional. Mostly staffed by teens so I get it..but there was a gentleman who 'appeared' to be part of management and was carrying on some conversation with customers he seemed familiar with. Going on and on in a common eating area about things that no one else really cared to overhear from a staff member. Pizza is good and prices are reasonable. Pasta and everything else is meh. I do like that there are different rooms to sit and eat away from the play area. But....if you need a changing table, be ready to either wait in the tiny restrooms or change your kid in the hallway like I did. I don't really understand any place that caters to children but doesn't think of bathrooms to fit their needs as well. But hey,.. I'd go back cuz my kids love the place.

So my daughter has been hounding me on going to this place for the last 2 weeks. They received some vouchers from their school, for 2 free children's buffets and free tokens to play the games. So yesterday we had some free time and went. I was severely disappointed. What a waste of time and money......NEVER AGAIN! The wait in line wasn't that bad, took us about 10 minutes to get to the front and paid up. Once we FOUND a place to sit, I had my wife and kids go get some food, while I watched the table...she returned 15 minutes later with kids in tow, apologizing for taking so long, because there was a lot of people, and NO FOOD!! I thought to myself, how can there not be any food? So i went to check for myself...she was right....Most of the pizza trays were empty, completely out of chicken...they had some spaghetti and noodles with marinara sauce, no lettuce or greens for the salad, no baked potatoes....I had to stand there and wait for like 10 minutes, while they "refilled" everything back up again...RIDICULOUS!! I had the pleasure (note sarcasm) of going back to the buffet twice...only to come back with a couple slices of pizza, and some steamed vegetables...No bueno...i also saw one of their employees with 5 plates of food, stacked to the gills and by stacked I MEAN STACKED!!! While the paying patrons have no food....or have to wait a long time for it...... Now the games and rides were the only good thing about this place, even though most of the games are "Off/Standby" my kids had a lot of fun on these games. It took us about 2 hours to knock out all the tokens we had got....That was the only upside to this little adventure.....I won't be back. Management needs to step up and have the place cleaned....The tables were dirty, the bathroom was dirty, and the flush mechanism is broken in the big stall. the paper towel dispenser barely wants to spit out any paper.....there has to be enough food for everyone to enjoy the buffet, people should not be left waiting to get food. If you can not supply, lower the demand, stop letting so many people in....or hire more employees to cook....The whole time I was there...I only saw 1 manager....(assuming he was, different shirt than other employees) and he was to busy talking into his walkie talkie headset to even acknowledge i was there...I will not return....I hope management reads this....

We first heard about this place from a co-worker, who said it was a lot of fun for kids. It's a little bit out of the way, as there are no John's Pizza locations close to the central area of Los Angeles. The ones in Montclair and Buena Park are probably the closest ones. The reviews comparing John's Pizza to Chuck E. Cheese are pretty accurate. Here are some differences: 1) You MUST buy a buffet to enter John's. You can't come in just to play the arcade games and try to win prizes. 2) John's Pizza has larger scale amusements, like you would find at a county fair. The one in Montclair has bumper cars, a small bowling alley, indoor mini golf, and a spinner ride. 3) You're supposed to eat the buffet first, and then go play games. No food or drinks allowed in the game area. You're allowed to go back to eat buffet, but you're not guaranteed a seating area in one of the themed rooms (Extreme Sports, Cartoon, High Sierra lodge). Then again, you probably won't stay long enough to eat a second meal there. The buffet is designed for kids (lots of different kinds of pizza, including weird ones like mac 'n' cheese pizza, peanut butter, chicken alfredo), lots of starchy foods, desserts like frozen yogurt machines, and a medium-sized salad bar. Then again, I've seen groups of adults here just to eat lunch, so maybe it appeals to more than just kids? It's not the kind of food that most adults would want to eat a second time, in my opinion. I've been to a birthday party at John's Incredible, but at the Buena Park location. The birthday party seating area is separate from the regular seating area, which is different than Chuck E. Cheese, where there is a show with the robotic Chuck E. and a live actor dressed as Chuck E. In the John's Incredible rooms, the host will play games with the birthday child. It didn't feel quite as special as a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese.

I am only giving this place 2 stars because my daughter had a good time and the food wasn't absolutely disgusting. Even though this place is a step above Chuck E Cheese, it's not a very big step at all. I remember coming here ten years ago and having a great time, but time has not been good to this place. I came back a few years ago and saw that things were in decline, but I thought it was just an off day. I took my daughter here this weekend and found that they weren't just having an off day, they really have just gone downhill and no one seems to care. The prices are still good for what it is, but I would rater go to Dave and Busters or Gameworks from now on instead of coming back to this place. I can get the same games pretty much anywhere else, the only good thing about this place is that it's got a buffet attached which makes it cheaper to eat here. Unfortunately, the buffet left a lot to be desired. Like the last time I was here, they only had about 6 different pizzas out and they weren't anything special: Pepperoni, Pepperoni & Jalapeño, Supreme, Alfredo, Chili Cheese and plain Cheese. Four out of the six pizzas were normal pizzas I can order from anywhere. The Alfredo tasted like the Cheese pizza and the Chili Cheese wasn't anything special. I remember when this place had crazy pizzas like Mac & Cheese or Peanut Butter and Jelly among others. Most of the spaces where more pizzas would go were empty the entire three hours we were there. The dessert bar had many different desserts, but none of them tasted very good. They were out of soup the entire time ad they were also out of pretty much everything that wasn't a vegetable at the pasta bar.The plates, silverware and trays were also empty most of the time as well. When they did put out refills of the items they put out half filled containers which everyone would swarm to and you were lucky if you got anything. The only bar that remains fully stocked the entire time was the salad bar, which was probably because no one even tried eating from it. It was devoid of people the entire time. The patrons and even the employees on break acted like scavengers at the bars. I literally had an employee reach over me to grab something that I was about to grab directly in front of me. I understand they're on their break but that's rude for anyone to do. Also, a man stood directly in front of the soda fountain, in the middle of it so that it would be awkward for someone else to use it at the same time, grabbed a glass, filled the glass halfway with the first drink on the left, drank it, and then proceeded to do the same thing with every single drink. When he was done he sat the glass down beside the soda fountain and walked away. This was absolutely ridiculous for a grown man to do in the middle of a busy buffet with a line behind him for self serve drinks. The place wasn't very clean either. I can't fully attest to the cleanliness of the game area because I only went in there to put my daughter's tickets in the machine to be counted and helped her pick out prizes. But the bathroom wasn't very clean, it looked as though no one had come to clean it in a while. When I went to use it with my daughter and attendant came in to "clean" but all she did was wipe down the counter tops and leave. Honestly she didn't even clean the counter tops very well because she grabbed paper towels and pushed the water around that was already there and then left. We put down extra seat covers and everything because we just did not feel comfortable in the restroom. We ate in the cabin themed room and there were several tables that sat there and weren't bussed the whole time we were sitting down. When I walked by the worker's station where the place dirty dishes, it looked absolutely disgusting inside of that tiny room. Dirty dishes were stacked from the floor to a little over halfway up the wall. There was food all over the floor and all I saw were employees continuing to add to the pile and standing outside the room from time to time just having conversations with each other. When one of them did finally come around to our table to take our dishes the employee told me that I better give him everything I didn't want because no one was going to come around to bus the tables anymore, and this was three hours before they were supposed to close. When my daughter was almost done playing games I went to put all of her tickets into the ticket counter. My boyfriend walked away without giving me her Fun Card so that I can put the ticket total on it. I stood next to the machine and called him to bring the card back so that I could put the tickets on it and as I'm standing there a few kids kept circling me like vultures to see if I would walk away. One actually tried to swipe his card in the machine when I turned my head in the direction my boyfriend was coming from!!! Not only are the adults and employees rude, but the kids are even worse!!! I don't think we'll be returning. #18/100

I was just here yesterday and as always the food was great & I had a good time with that. Food 3 stars because the gaming area was so ridiculous . Besides the fact that it was so incredibly stuffy and hot with no ventilation about half or more of the games were all off. I was very limited which made me bummed some of my favorites were off and nobody was around to help me out or at least give me a reason. I did end up having fun I played deal or no deal about a million times cause it's seems it was the only thing that was working .

Absolutely horrible! Went on sunday for my niece's birthday and was very disappointed with everything. It was very unorganized, had no clean silverware, no clean plates, no food ready or prepared. To top it off there was no salad at the salad bar! People were fighting in the game area and police were called. It used to be a nice place but completely lost control. If I could give it no stars I would. Sadly to say my entire family will never return.

If Chuck E Cheese got gang banged by Walmart, Costco, and Hometown Buffet, this place would be the baby. Plenty of high calorie, low nutrition food for consumption at an affordable price. Over a dozen pizza selections. 2 soups. Several pastas. Most items look heat and serve. Salad bar is okay. Ice cream, and baked sweets for dessert. Party rooms available. Good service. Staff is friendly. David did an awesome job. Enough arcade games and loud sounds to numb the senses. Great place for kids. Beers $6.75 for 20oz.

Came here for a birthday on a Saturday at 7 for dinner. There is a party entrance and a separate regular entrance for people who just wish to come without a party package. The line filters through quickly and once you pay, you see the salad bar. To the left is the game and party area and to the right is the seating areas. There are different themes in different rooms you can sit at and basically you take the ticket that they give you, scout out a spot, lay your ticket down and get food. There is a salad bar, a pasta and baked potato bar, a pizza bar and a dessert bar. Overall, for people who say the food is disgusting and inedible, well its not great, camp food at best. The silver linings for me here was the baked potato with butter, sour cream and cheese for toppings, the salad bar, and the donuts that they fry themselves. The pizza at this location was all dough and very little topping and most of them used the pasta sauces I think as bases. They had a good variety and my favorite was the Alfredo chicken pizza, aside from the garlic pesto. The servers didn't really clean the tables fast enough so empty tables were dirty and our plates stacked up quite a bit before they cleaned up. Nevertheless, if you come for the food, you will be angry and hate yourself for coming. This place is very conducive to some family bonding time or for large parties looking for a group activity to do, since you can eat and then play games, then have ice cream afterwards if you wanted to. The games area was really the best part since there are rides that will be pretty fun for kids 10 and under,, a good amount of arcade games for the little ones and then some for the older folks, a minature golf course, bowling, and even bumper cars. For $25 you can reload your fun pass (don't loose it because there is a charge to replace) and for us we pretty much played to our hearts content and then got an ice cream and went on our way. I would come back for the kiddos to play and just be able to do something to hang out together for parties and such. For adults stick to D&B, its the better option - unless you like ayce campfood.

Our party host was (Melinda) she was very patience with the kids and they seem to like her and she was also quick to our service our needs...thumbs up johns for training your young staff...

This place has gone down hill . The food was horrible, it was absolutely filthy ! It felt dingy . On a positive note the staff was friendly .. Place needs a serious make over ! I will not go back to this place again.

I love this place, but there are some annoyances. The food is fantastic! It's always hot and ready. It's a bit annoying at lunch time though that you now have to request the specialty pizzas, but they don't take too long to make them. They aren't quick about cleaning up their tables, and the cashiers usually take forever. Also, several of their games werent working, which was a disappointment. Overall, great food, but they just need to take a little better care. I do recommend this place though. The themed rooms are cool, and it's a great place for kids.

This place gets 3 stars for kids older than 10 years old. My kids had a good time with the games. Some lady in the golf area let all her kids RUN A MUCK during my families game and we even had to tell her....HELLO!!!!! WE ARE PLAYING A GAME HERE! but besides that we had a good time. It's an all you can eat buffet but you have a time limit of 2 hours so we were NOT able to go back for our dessert. Pirates game was the BEST! I don't think we will go back again because my kids are over 10 years old and this place caters to those maybe 9 and under IMO.

Dirty and disgusting. All the empty tables were dirty and not wiped down. I grabbed a tray at the salad bar and the trays were wet and still had food on them. I went for a plate same thing. The potatoes and pasta bar didn't have fresh food. The pasta was dried up and the mash potatoes were crusty. Disgusting! Pizza bar was empty. Guest were waiting for 10 minutes for the pizzas to come out. Dessert bar barely had anything to offer and the ice cream machine was gross serving watery sludge instead of soft serve. The ladies restroom was worse than a gas station restroom. So bad that I rather hold it in until I got home. I will not return and hopefully I don't get sick from my visit.

For a place that is rampaged by kids everyday, the facility was definitely cleaner and more fiction able than any Chuckie Cheese I have visited. The food was like any buffet focused on kids: salad bar, friend chicken, pastas, various pizzas, soups, and dessert bar. Their drinks selection was above average since they had from kid friendly milk, to soda, icee machines, and even for the 21+ beer and wine. I like that the arcades and rides were not just toddler focused but even adult rides too. Miniature golf was a bit small but not too bad. Price for food, drinks, and games were all well worth it for my family.

Been here numerous times. Cashiers and game room staff were excellent Jaime our bus boy was awesome but the food service was horrible! !! Nothing was prepared. When I asked "Christina" for something after she ignored myself and several other people that were standing there numerous times, she rolled her eyes at me then proceeded to say "well you only been waiting for a little while" she then filled three other empty items then finally filled what we were waiting on. The whole food service was awful. Nothing was available maybe because it was a weekday and not as busy. I will drive to the Moreno Valley location and brave the traffic! Hope they get it together soon.

The food is sub par. However, it is a kids game place, so the food is not the highlight. My two sons enjoy it here. It would be nice if you could come for games etc instead of the food too.

This is being based off my second time at johns and although my first visit wasnt great at all i decided to give it a try again. Only reason why im doing this is because i plan on going back thus weekend coming up and want to see if they have improved even more. The line was no where near as long as the time prior so that was a major plus. I was welcomed in by two cashier's, and both girls were very friendly. I was helped by veronica, and I believe the second cashier there was named jasmine. Both girls convinced me give johns a second chance with an open mind. I think it was a monday that i went. I wasnt disappointed at all. I absolutely felt relieved to see an update to the letter grade. It went from C to A! The food was good, nothing fancy but its a pizza buffet so nothing greater than a buffet was expected. Salad bar was fresh, the ranch dressing was delicious. Soup section was a little rough but i dont eat soup so i dont realy mind. Pizza is good. Their jalapeño pizza and the Buffalo chicken pizza are amazing. A little to much cheese for my taste but it will do. The ice cream machine was down and a bit messy but children will be children. The powderd donuts need more sugar, seemed far to little powder sugar for that pile of donuts but the buffet attendant resolved that problem for me in a second. The cashier was cleaning the buffets she asked how my day was and if i was finding everything ok. I ran into the other cashie , the one who didnt ring me up, and i asked her about the fun cards and the vip card, she answered all my questions , and some were obvious answers that i wasnt aware of but she did it in a friendly matter. I was so happy with the service i was provided. My room attendant was fast, his name was David. Overall great service. There were a couple of games down saddly but that didnt stop me or my mother in playing guitar hero or try the maze. I will definitely keep going back if this keeps up.

AHHHH I can't believe how bad it was. The pizzas were mostly really dry and almost no topping and salad was not fresh, pasta was so plain. I thought that for the price we paid, there should be some good food to offer. I tried a bit of everything to find something good enough to eat but sadly I couldn't. I call it "John's HORRIBLE pizza"

Our party in the room was cool, the host was nice and the kids had fun, that's why I gave them 3 stars. They do have some issues and it isn't what is used to be. The food area is a disaster, all of the trays were soaking wet and the soda was watered down. The restroom was nasty, empty soap dispensers and tp everywhere. The biggest disappointment were the games, they used to be so great, today a large percentage weren't working at all and the ones that were didn't put out tickets, my kids love getting tickets and it's such a bummer when you earn tickets and you don't get them.

I don't even know where to begin! Although this location is a nice one, it was filthy! So filthy that I am now feeling better to waste my time in writing a bad review, after food poisoning that me & my family had! We (my family of 5, my parents & brother & sis-in-law) came in at 7pm, on 8/14/14 to celebrate my youngest sons 2nd birthday. 1) salad bar was a complete mess, as if a tornado had attacked it. 2) no food in the entrée section, manager kept on saying that the pizzas were coming out of the oven. Ok? Well, in the meantime, I'm not going to feed my 3 kids pizzas with jalapeños. Please keep cheese pizza on standby for kids at all times, & try to drain out the oil from the fried chicken. 3) I had to keep on rummaging through the utensils b/c they were so dirty, I literally could scrape the left over food left on the spoons and forks! 4) the dessert bar was gross! There were no ice cream bowls. I & another patron thought the ice cream dispenser was out of order b/c there was just a dump of choco/vanilla swirl there that leaked onto the floor & surrounding walls & table tops! Seriously it looked like someone who got a tummy ache from this location, jumped up there & took a dump! Which leads me to my last & final complaint- 5) bathroom! Disgusting! As soon as my 3 y.o., daughter walked in, she was grossed out! "I'll just wait to go potty at home", she said. Wow! There were no seat covers in about half the stalls, & when we found a decent stall, there was no t.p., omg! After wasting time looking for the necessities, she did her business & we proceeded to the sinks, when I lifted her to the soap dispenser, it was backed up with old, dry soap (probably from not being thoroughly cleaned out to dispense evenly) the soap squirted upwards, & into her eyes & on my neck! Please upkeep the buffet stations & bathrooms! I have no complaints about the play/arcade area, the kids had fun.

ohh where do I start.... food was beyond disgusting!!!!! I've never in my entire life experienced such a horrible thing! The food was beyond greasy, some undercooked others over cooked, the place was a FILTH!!!! The plates were located in the stupidest spot (in between the buffets so when you're in line people are pushing you to get plates). To make matters worse the cooks handled food so unsanitary. It took 50 min to find a place to table and when we do the guy in charge of the section says they're short on chairs so we had another 30 min standing up trying to look for 2 chairs!!!! PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!! Save yourself the money and headache.

Came here yesterday for the first time in years. It was super packed. My friend and I went to eat. The line was long however we waited. I dont mind when places are crowded however the crowd there was ghetto. Most of the people that were there were super rude and cutting in lines and pushing people out of the way. Overall the food was not too bad but its not worth going too for the food again. The whole place was messy. The ground was super sticky. There was left over trash and food left by the fresh food and some of the trays, plates, and utensils were dirty. Sorry but I won't be returning to this location anytime soon.

This rating is based on the food alone. I came here tonight for a dinner meeting for school where we had vendors come to speak to us. I would always see this place packed with cars even on a regular week night, but never actually stepped foot inside until tonight. There are several rooms that I suppose you can rent out in advance for private events and such. We were in the Fusion room which was pretty decently sized with a few tables in the middle, booths around the perimeter, and a small stage area with a screen and projector. The food was only so-so. It is buffet style with options such as salad, pastas, baked potatoes, soup, pizza, and desserts. Decent: The pesto sauce Pizza - sliced into small pieces so you can taste a little bit of everything and not over eat. Corn (random, but I really liked the seasoning and I'm a huge sucker for corn) Chai tea latte Mini donuts (like fat round funnel cakes) Avoid: The Italian dressing (super yuck) The dry brownie (no taste at all...just all dry) The peach tart Not sure how the games are here, but I probably wouldn't come back unless a good friend decides to have a kid birthday party here.

There needs to be some accuracy to the reviews of this place. It is like Chuck E Cheese. The pizza is good (with thick dough) but the rest of the food is not very good. It is expensive for the quality that you get, unless you come with a bunch of 2 year olds that eat free. The game side is where JIP (or gyp) gets the one star rating. The games are played with credits on a card. The problem is credits disappear sometimes (and you'd never know it unless you were paying real close attention) and the tickets that you win aren't credited to your card on some games. Again, you'd might not notice unless paying real close attention. Certainly, your kids won't notice. The management has no desire to fix the issues. The game side simply is poorly maintained and also ripping people off, which pisses me off. When they decide to operate their business with a little more integrity, I might return with my kids. Until then, we'll eat some pizza at home and play games at Boomers.

The lines to get in on a Saturday are like waiting for Disneyland ride. Line was about 45 people deep and only two cashiers working the huge lines. After waiting an hour in line waited anoter 30 min for a table .Food was decent, bring your own parmesian cheese I asked for parmesian cheese and employees response was" wait till someone brings one back" WHAT A JOKE

I love the whole concept of this place. Food is great! There's a balance of healthy such as salad and fruits. There's also tons of pizza variety, soups, pasta breads and anything you would want to eat with the pizza. My favorite part is the coffee/ latte area. There's some delicious cappuccinos. Before I've ever gone to one, i didnt think it was that big or the rides were actual rides! I thought it was like chuckle cheese slots and little games but wow! The rides are great! I love how spacious it is and there are no crazy lines. I love taking the kids and teens here because there is literally something for everybody. Its great for not just birthdays but also fundraisers! Plus its pretty cheap! Sign up for their membership/newsletter for deals!

I have been here twice. Both times were with my daughter, who just turned 5. While we were very impressed with the quality and selection of food, cleanliness of the venue and availability of plates, utensils, etc on our first trip, this trip was the exact opposite. Both times the venue was bustling and busy, so there was a constant there. This second trip however was horrific at best. The first comment is on the number of games that were either broken or unavailable because they were offline. As an adult I can rationalize that things like this happen over time, but you can't explain that to a 5 year old when nearly every game they go to is unable to be played. When I found an employee to ask about the situation they said, "I do apologize for that, but unfortunately, we just changed the policy that no one is to touch those games until a technician has looked at them, and we only have one technician on today. We are trying to call in two more, but it will take them time for them to get here." This was on a SUNDAY AFTERNOON WITH NO PLAYOFF FOOTBALL! The second comment is in regards to the choices of food and food quality. While I understand it being a busy day, our last visit with my daughter was just as busy. Last time there were many choices and most of the food was piping hot and looked presentable. This trip the food choices were limited because they were out of many items, clearly not prepared for the volume of people for the day. Looking past that, my daughter, girlfriend and I found some items to at least attempt to eat...pizza, spaghetti, salad, fried chicken and salad. This brings me to food quality. While my girlfriend's potato was edible, and the salad was fresh, everything else was awful. So much so that my daughter, who usually eats everything she puts or has on her plate, barely ate anything but her salad and about half of her piece of pizza. Finally, the lack of silverware, plates, etc was completely inexcusable. It's hard to put food anywhere to eat when there are absolutely ZERO PLATES AND SILVERWARE! Overall, to say my family and I were disappointed, is a complete understatement! It was immediately obvious this was a failure of management to properly staff for a weekend, when you know the chances are you'll be busy. We may try one more time, but if this is status quo for John's, I don't see them being able to continue to include "Incredible" in their name.

this place is HORRIBLE ... 4 people out of a party of 8 got food poison. I ended up in urgent care the next day because i was in so much pain. Yes the price is great, Yes the games are fun - What is not fun- going to Urgent Care for food poison. This locations needs to clean up their act. WORST LOCATION EVER!!!!

What an amazing place to take your kids to eat and play games. The food is not all that good but for sure the kids love it. And the games are fun, its for everyone, Adults, Teens And Kids. The wait is average, its busy like any other place. But the wait is worth it. Also it's good for children's birthday parties. My family had so much fun. Can't wait to take everyone back.

I am giving this place one star. The date was 03/21/2015. The food here is not that great, but I had worse than this somewhere else. The drink selection is also not great. The reason I say that is because taste of the food here is not good for what the price to get in. Also the restrooms were very dirty and the dining area was not very clean the floor felt sticky around the buffet area. I asked an employee for Parmesan cheese and they told me to go ask someone else. If I was working there I would've said yes sir I will get you some real fast. What happened to good customer service. O well I know I won't be taking my family there. I'm not trying dis this place, but to pay an entrance fee just to play game I don't think so..

This past weekend I was a first time customer of John's.. as were much of my family who were all meeting up to celebrate a 2nd Birthday Party. My boyfriend and I immediately got excited upon seeing the huge colorful building, Today is going to be a fantastic day whether you are a child or an adult. The party started at 3 and we arrived at about 3:20...the Line was CRAZY... it took us almost an hour to just get to the front. We paid for our buffet, some tickets and then went to join the party. While In line we pretty much saw half my family in line or in the main lobby ( already paid) everyone was waiting for everyone for the party to begin/ cake / eat/ open presents. After getting through the line and into the main lobby I couldn't even get to the table and put my stuff down before a waitress named Sara came over to half of our party and started to tell them they needed to leave because they had a two hour limit and their time was up. She came full force and very rude. Naturally My aunt gave her a little bit of attitude back while she tried to speak with her about only a few people's times were up and many people just getting to the restaurant/thru the line. Sara escalated from an already very high strung 8 to about a 15 on a scale from 1-10. She started yelling and interrupting everyone who tried to speak. I immediately had to get someone to call a manager when she got up into my uncles face asking " was I talking to you?! NO! I was not talking to you. So you can sit down. I am going to call the police for my own safety. you have no right to speak to me" AND it just escalated from there. We finally got a manager over to our table and two other employees needed to basically pull her away from the situation as if we were in a dirty bar fight. Darrell was the manager that was assigned to us and although helpful, he continuously did not let the situation settle while the PAYING CUSTOMERS WITH TIME LEFT have not eaten nor enjoyed any of their time spent at John's. It was just a matter of time that I politely asked him to leave our party alone while we collected our items and spent the remainder of the time he allowed us to be seated by singing happy birthday and opening presents. I then asked him why.... of all the people in the room did he and his staff choose to bother us when there are plenty of people in this room who have been here longer or just as long as us. He started to tell me about policies and then I asked him if he knew that the table near us was actually also part of our party and had shown up with the birthday girl and her mother to set up. They were Spanish speaking only and they have not been bothered because we obviously were the easier target to ask to leave our table without confusion. In fact, we were one of the only parties who spoke English at the time of the incident. We are a Mexican American family but the 1/2 of the family that does not fit the stereo type was the half hassled. And the other half was left alone to enjoy the birthday party and their food. For the price of a buffet I ate a cold potato and a 1 inch by 1.5 inch square of brownie before I needed to get up from the table as per the agreement with the manager Darrell.. The people who just got there agreed to sing and open presents at the table with the full group and the we all leave the table together in order to ease the situation. To top it all off... after we were settled, Sara made another attempt to start drama with my uncle as he filled up a cup of coffee at the coffee bar. se again threatened to call the police but said it was for her own protection because she felt threatened. This was by far the worst place to have a birthday party due to the staff behavior and money spent by many of my family members to not eat after gaining entry. We were not attempting to purposely disobey the rules but only to all be together to sing and open presents at this get together. if it is a 45-1.5 hour wait to get in, I think the staff should have a little more patience and give their customers a little more dignity than make a scene. We were not only singled out, but we were treated absolutely poorly. And speaking just for myself, I walked into your establishment and was verbally harassed and abused as a customer, then I was denied the meal I was forced to pay for and then had to deal with my family who were all very upset at this experience. I see my family once a year when we all come together to celebrate this one specific little girls baby shower, birth and now birthdays... I think that we are all owed a very large apology and that Sara should not be allowed to work with the public in such an obviously high stress position of being a waiter in an all you can eat buffet.

Why pay if you don't want to eat? I don't get it. Maybe they should come up with a better system. Use a wristband if you want to eat and you can only enter food area with a wristband on. Workers are extremely rude. I'll never come here again. I'll rather go to D&B

We bought tickets for the news event. I must say that it was not worth it at all and we had a very bad experience. The games he said that the card would work or are not working at all. Any employee even confessed to us that that was the design all along. If this is the case will have to start frequenting boomers

The food is absolutely horrible. If you are looking for any kind of meat product, good luck finding it. You might find some pepperonis on the pizza, that is pretty much it. There is a pasta bar, all kinds of pastas, spaghetti, but no meat at all... The desserts is a joke...their freshly made "donuts", I took one bite and spat it right out. Only God would know what that's made out of. The only thing that was kind of ok was their pizzas. The pizza slices are quite small and during the off-peak hours, selections were very limited...cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and veggie pizza.

If you're in the area and you have kids, this is a good spot. Plenty of room for everyone! Imagine a place the size of a Costco with all you an eat buffets, video games, and rides. That sums it up. So why the three stars? Well, many games just didn't work. It's heartbreaking telling kids that the bright flashy game they want to play won't work. The restrooms are small for the crowd this place brings in so ladies, good luck! The food is okay. Way better than Chuck-e-Cheese for damn sure. They have about a dozen different types of pizza, a big salad bar with good ingredients, and a big dessert buffet. Everything you need to keep the kids happy. They also have slurpies too! Other issues I had was the employee on his hands and knees in the men's room cleaning up pee. Dude, really? Mop, they use mops for cleaning floors.

Well this was my first time at John's. I have been going to the Chuck many times before trying this place so the only place I have to compare it to is the Chuck. Anyway, it was relatively cheap to get the buffet and quite a few tokens. Where it differs from Chuck is that you receive a type of card that has your token amount on it. You swipe this card when you go to a game. The problem I had was this card was not plastic like a credit card it was made of some cheap ass paper. I would slide the card into the machine and 90 percent of the time it would not register causing me to swipe it several more times to get it to work if it did at all. To me the old coin into the machine would have worked just fine. It seems John's is trying to be technologically advanced but used a system that was ordered up by the lowest bidder. Onto the next detail. They have 5 very large rooms where you can decide where you want to sit and eat which was pretty nice. The buffet was not horrible nor was it good either. When I was up there I went for some pizza and there was literally only 5 pieces of pizza out of the entire selections of pizza out. I choose a couple and ate. I came back and saw that the food had not been replenished in any of food sections (pasta, pizza, salad), was there a shortage of food? I cannot speak for the staff because besides talking to the lady at the front where I ordered I was not even approached by any of the staff to see how I was doing or if i needed anything. We then moved onto the game section, it was relatively nice with the exception of the rides that had to be staffed with an employee to operate. I only got to put my kids on one of those rides my entire 2 1/2 hours i was there, and even then it was one ride and the staff member would disappear. The games were relatively fun though. I think this place is a little better than the Chuck and if given the choice I would go to John's. I don't think i will be planning any parties here though. I am just going to use it as a backup take the kids out for a few hours place. Oh and one more thing, the place is not clean especially the food section. The counters and tray areas looked like they haven't been cleaned in about a week. There was friggin (insert word here ) all over the trays and floor. Thanks for listening to my rant. To summarize it was a cool place to go as a last resort "I need to get the kids out of the house" type of deal. Food was comparable to a fast food restaurant or below and the place was not kept up very well at all. Games were cool when your card worked and the staff seemed to be non-existent. 3 stars seems like a little much to me but i gave it anyway cause it was kinda in the middle. There was some good but mostly bad about this place.

I haven't been here in sometime and I can see why. The food was ok but games where worse. Most looked beat up or broken looks like they don't fix much. You spend about $50 for 3 and you would think things would be fixed. Not overly impressed.

First time we went when it first opened very nice, now it is disgusting, dirty smelly, buffet filthy, old over cooked dried out food, tables and floors filthy, trash cans overflowing, half the arcade games took our credits, wouldn't work properly, didn't even stay to use all credit on cards will not recommend and never go back!!!! Also a lot of rude and unsupervised kids with no manners running amuck, my 3 grandkids were happy to leave!

Horrible Horrible .... It was so dirty there, we kept getting dirty dishes from the "clean" racks ... The pizza was ok, that's where my only star applies... The rest of the food was just so nasty... Been here several times , after our last visit .. This will be the last ... Don't waste your money .....

Simply put, this place IS incredible! It is essentially a huge arcade that also has an all you can eat pizza buffet. It is definitely not for the faint of heart. The food here consists of primarily carbs and a salad bar. My assumption was that the pizza was going to taste terrible, but it was pretty good! I loved the dough, and they also had a good variety of pizzas to choose from. The buffet price was also very reasonable. The arcade section is awesome! They have games that are for a variety of different ages. There are also a few carnival type rides, mini-golf, and mini-bowling. I think that anyone that likes arcade games will find something that they like here. John's is a HUGE place, but it appears to be very clean. I also liked that the staff were very helpful and friendly when we visited. There was just so much to like about this place, with very few negatives. It is a fun place to take kids. Mine had a great time, and so did I.

We got there at 10:45 for our 11 o'clock party and everything was nicely stocked and clean. The pizza was surprisingly good too! I'm surprised to see so many negative comments but I'm assuming that these people came in a lot later than we did. I guess the early bird gets the worm... And all of the good pizza!

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. We come here quite often ONLY because my three year old son LOVES it. I have seen dozens of dirty utensils and plates. More often than not, the dessert area is out of everything. The ice cream machine is always a complete mess, and many times has been out of order. The employees are usually nice, but the place is way under staffed. It sometimes takes twenty minutes just to enter the place, even in the middle of the week, because there is ONLY one cashier working the entrance. Obviously this place is extremely poorly managed.

I wouldn't understand why people come back after experiencing this place is nasty and gross , pizza is the worst everything is dirty and stinks , its a rip off , the lowest quality on food (cheap) and the place is a nasty mess... It was our first time and never ever going back ..

If you're looking for incredible pizza this is the wrong place for you. If you're looking for a fun place to kill a few hours, or even the whole day, with your kids then YES come here. Seriously tons of stuff to keep your young ones occupied. From air hockey to rides, arcade games your kids will have fun. The food is buffet style and pretty mediocre. It's pretty much tailored to please young appeties. There is a salad bar, baked potato bar, many pizza flavors to choose from, and a dessert bar. Carbohydrates galore! I went to a party here recently and they have lots of rooms available. I'm sure this places holds kids' parties every weekend. Looks like they'll accomodate parties of different sizes by closing or opening accordion type doors to either make the room smaller or larger.

Been to 2 parties here. This place is horrible. You have to pay to go in regardless if you're gonna to eat. Super packed with people! The buffet line is long! You will spend most of your time in line! Consider yourself lucky if you find a plate and even luckier if it's clean. The silverware was dirty. They run out of plates and napkins quick. A staff member told my cousin she can get napkins from the bathroom!! This place doesn't deserve 1 star!

If you're looking to take the kids out and bring them home tired, I'd definitely recommend coming here. The buffet is MANDATORY to go in just as it is at Hometown Buffet or other places that have open buffets. The games are mediocre. I've found if there's anything wrong with them, just let someone in a green shirt know or someone at Party Central know and they'll help you out. Avoid the weekend crowd (and price increase) by going there weekdays before 3pm.

They should change the name to John's INCREDIBLY BAD pizza company. The only reason is got a C is because there's nothing lower. If you like bad food and surly service, this is your kind of place. This place makes Chucky Cheese and Shaky's look like 5 Star Dining!

I just don't like it here.... i have been before Nd they always tell you to eat at the food bar first. ..and then go out and have fun...not a good recommendation with kids and spinning rides... also.. i have got sick twice vomitting from the food.. never again....

My kids love it here, some times the food is awful and other times it's really good it's a hit and miss here but when it's good I love it, the chicken is delicious I love it the pizza is ok I love the sports room especially when there is a football game or baseball game hey even when a hockey game is on while your eating and watching a game the kids go and have fun at the game zone ...cool place

This place is one of my favorite place for food and games..... it's a much cleaner and tastier version of Chuck e cheese. For under 15 $ for ayce salad buffet with warm freshly baked pizza **try the spicy peanut buttet pizza** and unlimited drinks (includes coffee and icee)... yum. You can join thier vip club for $5 and get lots of perks from few games, free food and discounts. Then head over to the fun zone of bumpers cars, laser tag, bowling and ticket games :)

Okay, so I've been here once before, and I do not remember it being as messed up and nasty. When we first got in, had a nasty, musty odor. Then as we searched for a seat, every room had a bunch of pizza crust all over the floor, and felt like the smell of dirty got stronger. So, we find our seat, and make our way to the buffet, and the pizza was alright but the dessert was SICK. I mean, the ice cream machine was disgusting. I was scared to eat the ice cream because it looked like milk curds squirting out of the machine. Haha, not even joking. Anyways, to top it all off at least EVERY other game had been out of service or completely broken, with speakers not working, stuff poking out on the sides. Idk, just a HUGE disappointment to spent 60$+ So, all in all.. Beware!

To start off they have a grade C from the health department. They had left over food that people were serving themselves from the party lock-in from the previous night. They opened at 10am. Obvious they don't have a clean -up system set up for the activities they offer. They are known for a variety of pizzas. It took them long to serve them. because all there was when we arrived was 3 kinds. Also they were probably left over from the lock - in party. Because I did over hear a manager's conversation with an employee that the salad dressings on a counter were from last night. Too late for us we already had paid. This place isn't cheap. So look before you pay. My fault for not leaving after I paid and seeing the Grading of C. Management there is not doing their job. They are just getting paid. Chuck E. Cheese is better in that they are ready for their customers when the doors are open. Plus veggies at the salad bar are so diced made me feel like I had a salsa salad. Maybe some have experienced better but on May 23, 2015 , they ranked BAD!!!!

Worst customer service ever, management was so rude. These people need to take some classes on how to behave when working with the public. We came for nieces birthday party. None of us in our party of 15 ever plan on coming again and we will make sure to inform all of our friends and family about the horrible management skills.

New Years Day 2015, my grandson's 6 th birthday! We made a family trip for a little celebration! $136 for 4 adults and 2 kids! We arrived at 6:30 pm and there was literally no plates, and no food on their buffet. People were lining up to grab a plate or a piece of pizza. They were all complaining! The place was filthy! I honesty believe they could be shut down by the health department! Terrible!!

I love this place. Ive gone here for years with my family and i love to just sit down and eat in the cabin room and the sports room. The donuts are my wifes favorite. This last visit i made, the plates and cups were still dirty. They were not washed correctly. Some of the food pans were empty. The hot bar was dirty and not well attended. The coffee was not anywhefe near coffee. It did not smell like coffee nor did it taste like coffee. It tasted like water. There is another location of john's 10 minutes from my house but i decided to go to montclair to eat at that one. After this restaurant being one of my favorites to attend, it is now one of my least favorite.

Where do I start... Well my godson had a bday party there last weekend and I was excited to go since I've never been my sis reserved one of those rooms for the party and there were some staff designated to us which was cool. They helped clear tables and present the cake and play games. They were very helpful and attentive. When we got up to get food I noticed a staff member replenishing the plates and trays with wet plates and trays and using his bare hands to push down plates into its spring loaded chamber. So I have to pile my food on the surface that you just pressed your hand into? I don't know where your hands been?! The food selection was ok. Very carb friendly to fill your belly quick. I noticed a staff member in the kitchen taking off his ball cap and running his hand through his hair, place his cap back on and then prep a pizza. Without washing his hands!! The majority of the staff was on this day high school age or soon graduated and I think this contributes to the mediocre service at the food lines as well as the lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms. They just don't care. Punch in and punch out get your check and forget the pride in work and what you do. I will NOT be back again and have told my sis to do business elsewhere. STEP IT UP JOHN, THERES NOTHING INCREDIBLE ABOUT THIS PLACE.

I don't usually write a review after only one visit but this place doesn't even deserve a second chance. I came here for a family birthday party and wasn't expecting fine dining but I expected at least decent food. I tried at least six different styles of pizza but I couldn't find one I wanted to finish. I gave up on the pizza and decided to have some salad at the salad bar. It also didn't help that the dinning area smelled just like a hospital. I've spend some time visiting relatives in the hospital and that smell is very distinct and memorable. So I'm guessing they use the same cleaning chemicals as a hospital. The whole experience was very disappointing and left a bad taste in my mouth.

Went with family to celebrate a 7th birthday and we liked it. We went on a Wednesday evening and it wasn't full. The manager was very helpful and accommodating. There was a variety of pizza, soup and salads. Overall not bad. We got an online deal so it was cheaper. The birthday boy loved it and really we can't beat that.

Came here yesterday with my husband and godson first timers. The food is ok salad bar, pizza and potatoes bar where pretty clean in my experience. Dessert bar was ok too. My only advice is maybe keeping it a little bit more cleaner in the food area and eating areas. Oh and also the restrooms might sound like a lot to fix but I personally think it will pay off. I understand its mainly for kids but a little more cleanliness would probably give you better ratings. Arcade was the best part no complaints my godson had so much fun!

The food here is horrible I hate that you need to pay to get in. The $25 fun card was worth it though it lasted hours for my boy which was good. I'd still come back but I would eat before hand and pregame the beer lol because it's $6 for a small bud light!

I've taken my children to this particular Johns twice and both times I've felt uncomfortable. Its not very clean and it just seems less inviting. Whenever we go, we always just go to the Riverside location which is always much nicer.

The cleanliness and upkeep was bad. The pizza was cold. I had poured a cup of coffee as I grabbed creamer to add to my coffee I noticed the creamer was chunky. I opened the container and the creamer smelt like it was rotten. They should hire more staff to keep the good area clean.

Stopped in here for the lunch special (I was driving to Hollywood to visit a friend & a pizza buffet was more appealing than a gross fast food hamburger), so as a solo adult diner I am probably not the target demographic. With that said, I had quite an enjoyable time. There a several themed dining rooms...one was cartoon themed with a big screen showing cartoons...one looked to be surfing/tropical themed...and the one I chose was themed to look like an old fashioned camping lodge, with a huge rock fireplace & antler chandeliers. It was cute! The pizza was fresh and plentiful. My fav was the spicy peanut butter pizza...sure, it sounds gross, like something the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would have eaten, but it was delicious! I also had the fusilli pasta with the spicy creamy tomato sauce...it was surprisingly good for AYCE buffet pasta. The mini donuts for dessert were good, too...very fresh, and included in the price of the buffet (which was less than I paid for a bucket of mini donuts at the county fair recently). I was there at around noon on a weekday, so the place was very quiet. I'd definitely return if I'm in need of a meal on the long drive between my home and L.A. again...

It was not a good experience Jessica and Tessa were very rude. My husband was waiting for my children and I in line so we can all enter together and they charged extra fees because he was already in line and Tessa argued with my husband very rude Jessica as well they were both arguing rude and wen we told them fine we would pay extra fees they smiled. The trays were you are supposed to put your food were wet. The food was not bad tho put bad experience.

On the one occasion I came to eat here I did not enjoy it as far as the food goes. I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it. The pizza was far from incredible. It was cold and tasteless. I wasn't impressed. The quantity of choices was far better than the quality but that's not saying much. Also the prices are ridiculous considering how bad the food was. I love pizza and I was excited to hear that such a place existed. I was highly disappointed. If you love pizza stay away from this place. Concerning the entertainment part of this place I will admit I had fun. It was very enjoyable. I had a great time so there's that. There's a down side to that too. Paying extra for rides and games puts a wet blanket over the fun. If I had to do it again I would skip the food and go straight for the games. When considering this place for any reason just keep in mind the reason why. If it's for good times and fun I say sure go for it. If it's for the food I would suggest doing more research.

This place is HUMONGOUS!!! The food is buffet style, with salads, pizza, breadsticks, pasta, desserts and drinks. They also serve beer and wine, which you purchase with cash separately. There are tons of games for the kids, similar to Chuck n Cheese and Dave & Buster's. What makes this place better than the other two is that they have rides, including bumper cars! Highly recommended for parties or just for the kids to have a day of fun.

  • Monica D.

Save your money- The pizza is ok at best, games are all over 25 cents each. We even had to pay for are little one who wasn't even hungry. Some of the games are unsafely plugged into the wall. Told the manager but she did nothing about it. Worth a try but next time I will be going somewhere else.

Bad customer service. My vegan friend came in to attend a school event and was forced to pay full price to not eat anything. Toppings are lacking and so is taste. Johns Incredible Pizza Co is an acronym for JIPCO, as in jip company. It's not like Chuck E Cheese where there is free rides and things for kids to do, every ride and game here costs and they are not cheap. They even charge $5 for a game card to play.

The place was filthy. A health inspector needs to visit. The child we brought was happy, but the food was old, dry, and questionable as far as safe to eat. I complained about the pasta, and all the desserts. Gross. The romaine lettuce was browning in certain sections. I would believe that the 5 star reviews are either old or from employees. I am not sure that I could go here again. Maybe take the kid to Chuck e Cheese would be cheaper.

Love this place and so does my son! I prefer this place over Chuck e. Cheese, the food is good many different kinds of pizza to choose from, they also have a salad bar and a section for desert. Whenever I come the experience is great. The staff are also very friendly. I would definitely recommend johns pizza! My only complaint is that sometimes some of the games are out but most of the time they work.

3.5 Stars. Great place for kids and adults who are kids at heart! =) Neon golf, small bowling area, bumper cars and rides you would only see at the carnival! HUGE PLACE! Different types of Pizza Mac & Cheese-mac & cheese was bland needed a little more salt, it was OK. PB&J-interesting but I don't like sweet and salty foods. Alfredo-pasta on bread. the list goes on but these are the creative ones I was able to try. Salad bar had everything you can think of and create something healthy into an unhealthy salad. Soup-chicken noodle and vegetable soup, bread sticks to compliment your soup. Baked potato, yes they had baked potato-had chives, sour cream, butter and bacon to dress it up. Desserts-donut holes, brownies, cupcake, cake, churros and cookies. Drinks-fountain drinks, coffee, tea and alcohol for those parents who need to take that little "edge" off. Overall it's a good place to take the kids, it's big and the price of eating there is good, especially with the amount of different things they have to offer.

Here again and I'm super disappointed. There salad bar use to be so fresh and crisp and now it's old and soggy. I came in the morning when they first opened to beat the crowd and before the mess happens but it's still horrible. There pizza use to be great as well but now it's soggy too. So far the only food I enjoy is the baked potato.

I like how there are different rooms you can eat in . I also like how how there is a variety of games and rides for kids. It was cool that they had glow in the dark golf and bowling . One thing I wish they could have fixed is having more bowling lanes open. They really should look in every nook and cranny when they clean because i saw a drink mug behind an air hockey table and there were drink cups on the games even though there's a sign saying no food or drinks in the gaming area. The food was alright. Overall, this is a fun place to take kids.

Seems like they have everything.... Not on the good end of the spectrum though. They try to cater to everyone by don't even have good pizza really. They have games to say the least but very few entertaining games. Seems like a bad fusion of pizza hut and Dave & Busters except Dave & Busters is enjoyable.

Ehhhhh been here a couple of times too many....bdays parties for kids... Kind of like a larger chuckie cheese ...but they do have a buffet still gross but w.e... U get in line as soon as u enter and u pay for adults and the children then select a table then go crazy playing the arcade games and the mini rides...cool but food is rubbery and gross and salad bar is eh.... Def can live without going here..

Terrible food indeed, everything is cold except for the baked potatoes. Ventilation in the rooms are bad. Services are semi-decent. For a party you are going to spend 40 per kid. Pretty pricy for the quality of food. Lots of game machines dont work and eat up your credits. They are stealing little kids credit.

We just had a party for my niece here. It was so much fun. The party rooms are great. Our guests were excited to be there. In the game room I used the photo booth, so fun to choose your own decorations for the photos. Bumper cars are fun, I get my aggression out by bumping into people :p I'm glad to see they have a laser tag area, I will try it next time, and I want to try the drum game also. The food is really tasty, and so glad they have gluten free pizza! I'll be back.

ETA 6/10: Thanks to Ken who fixed our transaction gone awry. :) Updated to 5 stars for that alone! I came in to JIP today and at first I totally understood why the acronym was JIP. I waled in on a Sunday after hearing about the summer fun package which allowed 5 visits for 29.99. I didn't read any ads, came in at 10am this AM and proceeded to order them for me and my 12 year old son who was joining me. After I paid, I was told that they were only good M-F. I said "do you mean we can't use them today"? I was told no, that only Monday through Friday. So they tried to refund me but the nature of this transaction is non transferable, non refundable. The manager Ken came up and tried to help and once again explained the "rules". I told him I just bought these 10 seconds ago and I can't refund them? He said he would see if he could contact corporate and find out what they could do. I had to order more stuff because we couldn't get in with those passes, and racked up another 40 or so bucks and proceeded to take my child around to enjoy JIP even though I was very disappointed that I had just purchased 2 passes which I could not use. The place is 30 miles away and even in the summer I work M-F. 20 minutes or so into our visit, the store manager (Ken) came and tracked us down again and said he got confirmation that the charges couldn't be reversed but he was totally understanding that I was an unhappy customer and promised he would keep my number and see what he could do. We enjoyed the rest of our time there, although I was still very frustrated about having to spend money on something I'll never use. But in the end I figured, okay I didn't understand the rules and didn't read the fine print so partially my fault, but also felt that the person handing my transaction should have told me "Well you do realize you can't use these today right"? Anyway, after a few hours, we were leaving, my 12 year old had a great time. I am not totally a fan of the food but the place is pretty inexpensive for the amount of fun we had (minus the transaction gone awry). On the way out, Ken once again tracked me down and told me he may be able to get the transaction reversed. I think it's not 100% yet but I have to give the guy kudos for doing all he could to try to help us with this. He was really good at Customer Service and really tried so in the end, I really feel like 3 stars for the place in general and 1 for his diligence in trying to help us get our issue resolved. So whether or not that happens, I'd love to give a very public thank you to Ken at the Montclair John's on Arrow Hwy. You have restored my faith in customer service. Overall a fun place for a hot summer day. Just get there when they open. I haven't been besides when they open but on the way out at noon it was very busy!

Food was awful, cold tasted like it was rewarmed to many times in the microwave! Tables were all dirty! Wasn't that packed but looked like a huge kids party just left. So messy food and napkins, crumbs, cups every where! Clean it up. Bathroom was dirty and sticky! They also must never never clean the section where all the games are it was sticky everywhere! I think they got real comfortable and LAZY! It's about quality not quantity !!!!

2.5-3 stars. The folks that work here are incredibly friendly and helpful. I imagine that behind every smile lies seething hatred for the existence of every snot-nosed brat bumping into their legs and the demons and gargoyles from whom they spawned, bubbling so violently and thick with malevolence that upon return to their abode several showers are required simply to wash it away. Neck tattoos, sleeves, and tap-out gear as far as the eye can see. And this is the children to which I refer. Okay, perhaps that's a slight exaggeration, but only ever so slight. This does, however, accurately paint the picture of the parents, and the children are well on their way. If your mouth has been twisted and gnarled into a permanent "dur" or you pass your breath through a gaping mouth you will find yourself quite at home here. The melee that commences at the feeding troughs is best viewed from a distance and not participated in. If you find yourself caught in said melee through a series of unfortunate events (sorry Lemony Snicket) it's best to raise your plate to chest level as the impish demonlings give heed no mind to your proximity, crashing bodily into you. If you manage to tooth and claw your way to the alpha spot at the trough, expect to be rewarded with a quarter of a lukewarm, unincredible pizza, or soft noodles with "?" sauce. I myself feasted on a bounty of five child sized slices of pizza and two bread sticks. Victory! If only there were somewhere to enjoy my spoils. Not... one... table. Every single flat surface seemed to have a plate, cup, or other miscellaneous item laying claim to it. After a bit of searching we found what appeared to be a vacant table. A nice enough woman at a neighboring table confirmed that it was, indeed, vacant. I quickly located an employee and asked if they could please clear off the table for us. This request was fulfilled posthaste and in good spirits. As you stumble toward the "game floor" you may notice a sound... not unlike the buzzing of a distant swarm locusts. This is the sound of sugar hyped children all vibrating at the same frequency. The frequency of madness. They careen into one another, the workers, and the adults with absolute disregard. Never a "sorry" or "excuse me" has been uttered by those who measure under four dozen inches within this... this house of miniature horror. Thankfully, most of the games were operable, but sadly not all. My son was excited to play a game with me only to find it out of order. Thank you for the crushing disappointment John. Following the above madness my son found himself less than 100 tickets shy of a lava lamp. It would have been his first lava lamp. Oh the cruel fates! But... wait. What's that? I can purchase up to 25% of the total tickets we'd earned you say? Such sweet words! Done and done. Thank you John! The only saving grace to this establishment is, as previously mentioned, those that proudly display their name badge and suffer the existence of the swarming mass of hooligans daily who are the sole reason this place deserves any stars. They are the unsung heroes in today's world. And alcohol. Thank God there's beer.

Two words: NEVER AGAIN. This place is unorganized and terrible. I know this place is for kids but does that mean kids should run it? The selection of food was good but I was afraid to eat it because it was buffet style and guess what? All of the kids could reach it!! And in my world, as cute as they are, KIDS = GERMS. Maybe if I was 7 and did'nt care about eColi or catching the flu I'd have as much fun as the 5000 other people that were there were apparently having. The place was chaotic and the line to get in took 45 minutes- which considering we were part of a prepaid party was absurd! By the time we got in the party was 1/2 way over because they only allowed us to have the room for an alloted few hours (a room which we SHARED with 2 other parties by the way.) And trust me when I tell you they really do kick you out after your alloted time. They even made my great aunt who is disabled wait in line while our entire party was inside already! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Did I mention it was raining and we had to wait in line OUTSIDE? In conclusion...I could've gone on forever on this one but I decided it's not even worth my time. I'm just warning everyone out there about this place.

Ok kids...and Big kids with kids who love pizza. I love everything about their pizza and wait don't forget about their salad bar! To be honest I have really enjoyed this place for about 7 years now. I don't go many times throughout the year, but when I do I GET DOWN. On salad and pizza that is! Their salad bar is always fresh and has every topping imaginable. Even toppings that I don't think people normally put on their salad, but whatever. Now on to the pizza. I love the alfredo pizza. Alfredo, alfredo, alfredo. My 3 year old loves the hawaiian pizza and he never eats more than 1 slice, but here he eats nearly 3. Anyways, a lot of their pizzas are pretty good so I usually get a variety. My kids love the mac and some of their other pasta dishes, but I don't care to even try them. The baked potato station is always poppin too. I mean I've never had one, but when someone in my group gets one I always want one, but am too full by then to try one. :/ For being a buffet, they hav got the pizza down. Desert is yummy too. I love apple crisp and ice cream...together. The kids love the cinnamon rolls and mini donuts. I mean they get to eat all the crap they want, so of course they do! (coming from a mom who buys mostly organic, & no foods with artificial coloring) Anyways on to the arcade. I really like Johns because they really took the time to cater to all ages. There is something fun and exciting for everyone! Plus, my toddlers (2 & 3) get to run around crazy and I can't get mad at them. I probably won't be back to this place for a few months, but when I do, please believe I will probably eat way too much and then feel guilty for the next week, drinking homemade smoothies and working out non- stop.

Always easy on the wallet; kids luv pizza, so this is heaven for them. Salads are fresh and you cant leave without having some ice cream to finish it all off! Plus they offer military discount so i cant lose going there! ;-)

This place is pretty cool. Its huge! There are different themed rooms to sit in and is first come first serve. Im sure you can ask to hold a room for you ahead of time if you need to. As we weren't kids we went into the nascar room and just saw down. Its a all you can eat type of place. They have pizza, pasta, desserts, macn cheese. Its not top of the line stuff, but its pretty good. They also serve beer! Big glasses of beer. So no problem from me here. Its biult for kids to enjoy so there are tons of kiddy games and tons of room to run around and get them tired. Bring your kids here and let them go and then get some beer and pizza and call it a day. Can't really go wrong here in my book. I think it was 12 dollars a person? and a little bit more for beer.

Okay, I came here and I thought it was going to be incredible, but unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype. They have the five major food groups: pizza, pasta, potatoes, Pepsi, and pastries. If you are planning to run a marathon the next day you need to come and load up on your carbs. There is no meat or anything of substance if you are hankering for something with protein, this is not the place to come. It even seems like the soup is loaded with flour as a thickening agent.

Why do I come here??? Hmmm.... I have two kids that's why! If not for my kids I would never ever come here. It's like a Chuck E Cheese but way better. All you can eat pizza, pasta, salad and dessert bar. If you don't like kids or buffets, stay away! The rides and games are kinda cool. The food is not bad, not great. Come because your kids will like it :)

Went today for a birthday party there were seven of us. The food isn't bad. The pizza was good. They made a mini one for me. Salad bar was good lots of topping. I usually like french dressing. no french. They had an Italian that was lumpy and green!! Disgusting!! I went later for a second trip and it was a complete mess!! Really bad. I passed on it. The room we were in had lots of tables and booths. This stupid lady came in and started placing party bags on every booth but two that were occupied. We were at a table in the middle. There were at least twelve booths and tables in the middle. She took it upon herself to reserve almost the whole room. We were tripping out. When you pay they give you a receipt and you place it on your table. She had only one receipt and there were three of them. I don't know how she thought she could do that!! People were coming in and there was no where to sit. They were standing up eating. They told her to move some of the bags and she moved them off of four booths. I couldn't believe it!! I talked to the manager and she was like I talked to her. I never saw her talk to this stupid bitch!! The management didn't handle the situation well at all. Its not cheap and to have to stand up and eat your food is unacceptable. I won't be coming to this location ever again.

They should really call this place "John's Incredible Everything-But-Pizza Company." Overall, this place is an absolute gem that puts Chuck E. Cheese to shame. Let's begin with the glorious buffet of food. They have a salad bar, baked potato, pizza, pasta, dessert, and two soda fountains. Everything was great, but the pizza was WAAAAY below par. I never knew pizza could EVER taste bad :(. If you're going to advertise a food in the name of your restaurant, people will expect it to be delicious. However, I do have to give them credit for the huge variety of pizza that they cater. I mean, they have macaroni on pizza. How awesome is that? Well, it sounds awesome... but it didn't taste awesome. I also made my own root beer float. A plus for me! :) Moving on, they have an arcade area which is the highlight of the place. So. Many. Games. The place also has rides. So the games and the rides cater to babies, children, teenagers, and adults. As a 19 year old girl, I loved the Frog Jump (or whatever, I call it the "Supreme Scream for babies"). My niece dragged me onto there and I probably enjoyed it more than she did. Also, the bumper cars are SO MUCH FUN. The Twister is aimed at teenagers, but my 5 year old nieces hopped onto it and loved it. It's a headache inducer. A major plus is that this place isn't stingy with their tickets like Chuck E. Cheese is. You get a ton of tickets when you play games. Their "prize" selection is awesome too. I couldn't help but get an inflatable hammer for 200 tickets. For a place that caters to mostly kids, it's really clean. Nothing was sticky and if anything was spilt, it was cleaned right away. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here. Five stars despite the yucky pizza because I can't think of a better restaurant + arcade place.

This place is actually pretty AWESOME and AMAZING! I could not believe how HUGE this place is once inside. The Themed rooms are FREAKIN GREAT! (You'll have to visit for yourself to see what many of us have mentioned in these reviews). The arcade/play/game area is unlike any other place I have ever seen. Kids (and adults) will LOVE the MANY choices avail. An indoor bowling alley, bumper cars and a large spinning type of ride you would normally find in a carnival and/or amusement park. This is in addition to the MANY video games, basketball, race cars etc... This place TOTALLY blows Chuck E. Cheese way! The food is VERY tasty, the choices plentiful and since it is a buffet, eat till you puke (if that is your thing?). Unlimited beverages, salad bar, dessert bar etc... The staff is VERY nice and attentive. They have high energy music playing in the background, restrooms and entire location were VERY clean. Prices are VERY affordable. The prize booth is VERY large and the choices are many. I HIGHLY recommend this place for kids of ALL including those over 21

Being parents Honey takes me and the baby here all the time... food is way better than chuckie cheese and you cant beat the buffet its great for adults and children... A tip i give is use a soup cup and put the childrens spagetti in that instead of the flat plates they have.. also when i was on weight watcher i had a hard time trying to choose the correct pizza to stay with in my points when one worker suggested i request a special pizza made and sure enough 15minutes later i heard on the PA "Weight Watchers pizza for Liz is ready".. even though it was embarrasing that people knew i was on weight watchers the pizza was great full of veggies and light cheese...we all love the games and rides i suggest you pay for the VIP card especially if you will be returning its worth it you get in free on your bday.. TRY THE PEANUT BUTTER PIZZA ITS DELICIOUS!!

If you are looking for a pleasant family environment, look elsewhere. Poor crowd control, painfully long wait at the line just to get in. Also not all rides have attendants so you have to wait until an employee is done working one ride, just to get on another. Be aware the all-you-can-eat buffet prices here can attract increasingly low-end individuals, who lack common courtesy and don't know how to behave in public. Case in point: after nearly tripping over a toddler who wandered out of the eating area, I went to find his mother. Any normal parent would be glad to know someone is looking out for their kid. Later she confronted me in the restroom for no reason, demanding to know why I was looking for her, yelling at me that he wasn't lost, to mind my own business etc etc. Just a lowlife with a chip on her shoulder, looking to pick a fight . So after straightening her out, she ran crying to mgt about how we were bothering HER. Mgt came over and promptly told us off until we told them what REALLY happened. Just a real nice outing with the kids! NOT. This is the kind of clientele they want in their restaurant, they can have them. We'll spend our money elsewhere. What is happening to people in So. Cal. Sure the buffet is cheap but unhealthy, and I wouldn't touch the salad bar with a 10 foot pole. Rides are definitely not cheap. Even Chuck E Cheese is more pleasant environment by comparison.

Eeeegaaads....my little grandson loves this place! I love him to death. Which means I find myself going to places that I probably wouldn't be caught dead in otherwise. But that's why grandchildren are soooo much fun! You go for them and YOU end up having fun too! This keeps you young. Been here during the week for lunch and dinner. Been here on a Saturday night. Coming on a weekday is a MUCH more pleasant experience. This reveiw is for a Saturday night. This place is huge. One look at the UMUNGO parking lot makes you take a giant...cartoon-like... GULP! First, finding parking on a Saturday night is stinking crazy! (My husband is well known for saying "Stinking" when he's not happy). We get a "Stinking" comment at least once a day. People are everywhere including excited little children. So you need to be extra cautious! Now you have to stand in this painfully slow line outside. Oh and it's stiil 98 degrees at 7:30 pm, grrrrr......it was sooo hot! I think I was becoming delirious. My husband now throwing a few, "Stinking", comments here and there. Once INSIDE you will continue standing in line, but now it's all zigzag-gy. Just like an amusement park. At least now your standing in an air conditioned room! Every single person who wishes to enter into this "Incredible" place MUST stand in this line to enter. This includes little children, babies, us old ladies....everyone! No getting a table or waiting inside. There are a couple of employees "guarding" the doors. Not sure how they handle BD party guests. I can't imagine waiting outside at 2 or 3pm! It wasn't always this way. You use to be able to just go on the carnival side without getting the buffet. Not sure what prompted the change. The buffet is 9.50. Kids are cheaper depending on their age. Guess that's not too bad. Lunch a much better deal at 6.99. This is also a good time to buy a fun card. These are token "credit" cards. You need one to go on rides and play games. Directly in front, the buffet. To your right and and all along the back, several large themed rooms. To your left the "Fun" zone....CHA-CHING!! Each room has several large TV's that play everything from sports videos to cartoons, sometimes even live sports events. It's pretty loud! Not really a Chuck E. Cheese kinda crowd. Yes, there are lots of families, but you have quite a few non-family types here too. So it's kinda rowdy. Lots of booze being consumed here. The buffet isn't too bad.The pizza is actually pretty good. There are pasta dishes, a salad bar, mac and cheese, desserts. The buffet includes unlimited drinks. Of course alcohol is extra. Oh yes, there is a two hour limit for the buffet. They go according to the time stamped on your receipt. I personally have never seen this enforced. The carnival side is actually pretty cool! There are all kinds of rides. Golf, bowling, tons of games. People are actually pretty courteous so there's never much of a wait for anything. Love to play the "Deal or No Deal" game with my grandson. We get into the shouting part of ..."Deeeal... or no....Deeeeal? We actually win a lot of tickets! Of course, you can turn in your tickets for prizes. But UGH there was a TON of people here! So FINALLY we got our turn. And, after much consideration, my grandson decided on the fart noise thingy. Good choice. HeHe. Definitely worth the wait. We both giggled as we plotted together when to try this out on grandpa. Sigh, I always seem to have a good time here. So yes, I will be coming back. But, NEVER again on a Saturday night!! ;)

This place is like Chuck E Cheese's, on mega roids! Especially this location. Didn't know there was a Buena Park spot, but I'm not sure how big that place is compared to here...i mean, rides, INSIDE? Like big rides? It's like a carnival with walls! And yes, I am over 30 years old and very excited about this place...I think it's great, because it gives you an option on a hot day for the kids. And for parties, really cool that you can rent out a space (which can be anywhere from like 20-100) and have a buffet and then have all the kids play games. Pretty cool.

I had a great experience here, although I didn't reserve my sons bday we still were able yo get tables for 19 people! Service was fast and the kids were thrilled regarding the lines to the rides! The pizza & pasta was very good, better then that the other competitive place! My favorite is the funnel donuts!!!! A must w/ the kids during this hot summer days!!

Went yesterday with my 3 kids and husband, second time in 3 weeks. Both times many machines broken, good luck finding a employee , and if you do the employees will argue on giving back credits. The basketbal machines are always missing balls. They bowling is always broken, the womens bathroom is filthy. From now on were going to just drive extra and hit the one in Brea, which is sayig something since I live in Glendora. The food, well soggy mushy noodles. Salad bar was ok. The pizzas are good, if you order one to be made make sure to watch becausee it seems all other customers are oblivousy at making request , but will take entire pizzas you order. Never ever going back to this location, hell id rather go to freaking Victorville.

Such a disappointment. Twenty minutes before closing, I went ahead of my teenage kids to the car. I returned to get them as they were taking long and I was tired. I walked in with my receipt just in case someone asked. I didn't have to go far since my kids were immediately visible. I yelled out boys are you ready? Ben the supervisor jumped out asking what time I came in. When I said I just walked out and back in here is my receipt he responded with, "Well, people can pick those off tables and use them." Immediately it was a not just an interrogation but almost an accusation. I explained to him exactly what happened and he immediately started asking employees if they recognized me. I was so shocked and could hardly believe what was going on. I understand policies, but to look at all of your guest like thieves is awful. My receipt had the last 4 digits of my credit card on it. He could have looked at it and asked for my card. He expected me to describe the girl who rung me up three hours earlier. I didn't remember her to be honest, but I did remember him. In fact he was yelling at two girls who walked in behind us, and even asked me if I was paying for them, while I was ordering! Yet, three hours later he was giving us the third degree asking me who rung me up because that would prove I wasn't lying about exiting and coming right back to get teenage sons. With dinner and games we spent about $200.00. I forgive Ben, but he needs training and a new way of asking customers who didn't get a stamp, if they can please show their receipt and card. There has to be a better way to approach customers. By the way I wasn't trying to go in and eat again I was asking my kids if they were ready to go and obviously rounding them up. He would've noticed this if he had properly assessed the situation before accusing. I probably won't return. SORRY FOR THE TYPOS ITS LATE AND I'M UPSET THANKS TO BEN.

the salad bar here has basic offerings, but nonetheless is fresh selection. the pizzas are "made-to-order" with a wide selection. to satisfy all appetites. the dessert bar is diverse with donuts, cheesecakes, cookies, & pastries.

I went to this facility on 2/5/15 for a 1st birthday party..... I have never been so disappointed in a place like this. we were there at 6:00 and when we when up to get our food the pasta trays were empty. Not just one ALL of them!!! No Fried Chicken to fried potatoes, Bleu Cheese Dressing was so watery it lost its flavor and taste like water. The sauce containers for the pasta has not been switch for some time and hard around the edges. This could not be healthy. I have taken pictures to send to corporate on my visit. I have no intentions on going back to this place.

Always a fan of pizza. John's always delivers on that aspect. As far as the facility, its pretty small. The rides were all functioning for the most part, so I cannot complain about that. Not too big of a fan of the customer service. Although not particularly rude, they seemed to almost avoid some of the customers.

This was my 2nd time here and I've enjoyed it both times. The pastas can be hit or miss, but the pizzas are usually very tasty. I like that they offer different types of teas, and have icees, coffees/teas and of course your choices of sodas. I thought the buffalo chicken pizza, sausage and pepperoni, plain cheese pizza were really yummy. The baked potato was nice and hot, slathered with butter, cheese and sour cream! Oy vey! I'm never near the area so it's fun to come once in awhile.

Stephanie, our birthday leader was amazing, I swear you guys need to give her a raise! She made the most awesome balloon animals! Came here for my nephews bday party and just loved the experience. I like the spaciousness of the facility, the attentiveness of the staff and honestly, I like their food! Huge salad bar is a PLUS. The games were ok, a few times the machine ate my credits which sucks! or the machine was broken -- they need to do some more maintenance. Overall, the kids looked like they had a grand old time and us adults did too.

Took my son for his birthday. Just immediate family. Got his buffet for free because we have the vip cards which cost 2.00. For the year. Staff members we very nice. Food was good. Had a hamburger pizza. Which actually tasted like a cheese burger. Enjoyed others like buffalo chicken and classic peperoni pizza. We enjoyed getting the dessert. We had the apple crisp with vanilla soft serve ice cream on top. My son told everyone who helped us it was his birthday. They all responded with a happy birthday. Will definitely be back. This was only our second time here.

I went here for my girlfriend's daughter's 3rd birthday party last weekend. I think it's a pretty good alternative instead of Chuck E. Cheese. As you can plan a 2 hour rental on a party room where an attendant can supervise as well as play games with the kids is awesome! There are full pizza, salad and pasta bars available with a wide range beverages bar, as well. The space is clean and well kept. There games for both adults and children to play and some funsize rides. It was fun.

I am definitely a fan of this place. My son is always begging us to take him here but to be honest I really don't mind. The buffet is much better than you'd expect; definitely much better than most pizza buffets. They have a pretty good salad selection and the pizza is pretty good. Although they don't let you request your own pizza anymore (gotta drop them to 4 stars). And, they have games. But, i just come for the food!

We went here yesterday with friends. This is probably my third time visiting this establishment, but my first review. We had a very enjoyable time. The games and rides are fairly priced and I was able to have three kids (and me) play for over an hour with the $25 play package, which included 125 token and two rides. The food is ok, better than other similar places. We requested some pizzas that they didn't have out, they were happy to make them for us. The salad bar was decent and the kids enjoyed all the desserts. The place is pretty clean considering all the traffic it gets. We will definitely be back.

(A guest post from my 14-month old son) Waaaaah! wah! wah! wah! He looked at clown murals...the flashing lights...the mobs of kids too old for the free toddler area but running around...and cried and clung. Too stimulating and scary. The cartoon dining room has hanging lamps that burn with the heat of an abu graib interrogation room. No napkins at the dining table, only at the buffet line but...there is an icee machine! and fresh hot donuts off a machine that taste like funnel cake. maybe we'll be back...when they're older

John's Incredible Pizza is a good value. It's about $10 bucks a person for the buffet. Main thing about this buffet is pizza they offer 12 different pizza types. If you want pizza this is where I would come for unlimited amounts of it. There's also an arcade which is great but I've never use it, I'm usually too busy eating my pizza. They have 5 different types of rooms where you can eat, each themed with different stuff. I usually stay in the sports room where ESPN is always playing. :D

I enjoy this place better than Chuckecheese but I am not very thrilled about coming here either. However, my bf and his daughter like it here so we come here for a special treat when we have time to meet up with friends. The games are fun and I really like the bumper cars that have the innertubes. woohoo! The pizza is just average, but I like the variety. This place is always a mad house so be prepared to have a location where your kids can meet up if they get lost!

That was fun! Had my nephew's 4th birthday here this Sunday and we all had a blast. We had a party of about 41 persons and we fit very comfortably in the room that was set up for us. It was all you can eat and drink buffet, followed by lots of fun! There were 3 staff members and they were all great with our party. They did animal balloons for the children, played games and continued brining drinks and whatever else was needed. They proceeded to cut the cake, pass it out and it was literally a piece of cake! Haven't done parties this easy. The games are so much fun, we did bumper cars, the thing that goes round and round in the air, arcade games, dance games... the list is endless it is like Chuck E. Cheese on steroids... so much fun! We hope to host another party here in the future, as they make it so easy! The only thing I would change and that they should learn from Chuck E. Cheese is the monitoring of the children. Like stamping the parents/guardian with the same stamp as their children before exiting the premises... it seems so easy to steal a kid there, I hope there aren't any kidnappers reading this... eek! Oh one more thing, JIP should really consider putting a location in the San Fernando Valley or in Santa Clarita! We would be SOOOOOOOOO happy! Things you should know: Bring table cloths if you are trying to incorporate a theme Bring grab bags Balloons won't be necessary as they put some on each table, a lot of them on sticks, they look very cute Their mascot shows up for the party for like literally ONE minute, don't miss it! Don't bring décor that needs to be taped on walls, as their policy doesn't allow them to tape anything on their walls Don't bring cake plates or forks, they provide those for you as well! Wear your eating pants; a. to stuff as much food as you can b; to use the rides comfortably :D Don't let this theme "park" take care of you kids, you need to keep an eye on them at all times; as you should Thanks John Incredible Pizza, you really are incredible!

Its to bad that you must give at least 1 star. Otherwise i wouldn't... Not sure where to begin..let's start with the food..I've been coming here since 2012 and all I can say is that the quality has gone downhill considerably... The pizza assortment was limited to 4 selections..I saw empty pizza trays...left to grab a seat and then try back in a few minutes to see if they restocked...ummm no...still empty.. The selection I grabbed was warm at best, and the rations of toppings they put on these things is ridiculous..then...the dessert selection was awful..the soft serve ice cream was out of cones..no cheesecake.. Only thing available was their donuts..and not one person checking to see if anything needed to be replenished..or even to clean up the area..crumbs everywhere..and this is 45 minutes before closing!! Don't they have a manager doing rounds to ensure that every section is kept in order? Someone needs a write up or needs to be fired..that's two weeks in a row. Absolutely the worst visit.

I was genuinely excited about this place! I went here with my school to have some fun and take a break from studying. But I was let down. Granted, I am an adult and that a child would probably have more fun than I would have, but let me explain myself.. FOOD: Salad - Their salads and choice of toppings was actually pretty good. No complaints here, especially if they are mostly untouched (because everyone was going for the pizza and desserts..) Pizza - I like how their pizza are small slices so that you can try more of everything. Their pizzas are decent, nothing great. I do have to comment about their peanut butter pizza...it's just peanut butter on pizza. It was weird and not worth taking more than one bite. Pasta - Overcooked pasta that has become dry, stale, and hard from sitting under the heat lamp for too long. Yuck. Desserts - Their mini donuts are yummy. You can see them making it too! However, my blood sugar spiked by just looking at their selection. NO thanks. Wouldn't want my children eating this junk either (if I were to have any children to begin with). GAMES: Rides - I only went on the bumper cars and the twister ride. Both were decent and safe. Arcades - A majority of the games I wanted to play were BROKEN. Hear that John's Incredible Pizza Company?? FIX THEM. These are the more popular games too, such as the bowling lanes, guitar hero, racing games, etc. At one point, one of the machines was shooting out free prize tickets for no reason. Their prize selection stink anyway, so I gave all my winnings to a little boy who would enjoy them more than I would. Photobooth - I wish I learned about this one photobooth earlier! Now this was the only great thing I thought was worth my money. It costed only 8 credits too! And you get to take home the printed photo. Overall, I recommend this place for children and their birthday parties. If you're a college student/adult/whatever then you're better off staying home.

The hot food here is just OK, but the salad bar is what makes it OK for me to come back. The place is always clean, especially since there's tons of people always there. The game area is great, something for all ages. During the week there are deals that are pretty good, and the prices on weekends aren't that bad either. My only advice is to get there early, sometimes the line to get in can get crazy!!! like around the building crazy. I've only been here for birthday parties...and I'm sure we'll be back.

Of all the John's and I've been to almost all of them in our travels up north and back. (The Kids like going to Johns, We go a lot.) This one in Montclair is close to me. But many times we will either go to the one in Buena Park or Riverside. This one in Montclair has got to be the worst one of all the locations I have been to. The pizza is always more like Pizza Bread. Very dry and lacking in cheese and toppings. Then, the games for some reason, are always broken down or not quite running right or are not ready to play. I see game techs but none of them ever check to see if the games are working or working right. They seem to always hide out in their room by the bumper cars rather than out on the floor. We usually get there around 11:30 AM on weekdays and 10:30 AM if we go on the weekends and always and I mean always at least 5-12 games are either not working, not working right or have that "No Reply" or "off" when you slide the game card. Meaning all they have to do is reset it. Which mean the techs or mangers there never bother to do a check of the games before opening. Should that not be the proper protocol for a place like this? The best of the John's Pizza is the one in Buena Park. Pizza is great, Staff there are nice, games always in in working order, good managers. Pretty much the same goes for the one in Riverside, game tech is always walking the floor checking that all are working. But when the kids want to go and I don't feel like making the drive to the other locations, we go here and tolerate it.

This place is horrible!! Bad i mean bad food!! The Italian dressing doesnt even look Italian! It has a purple/ white color!! All the games were broken!! On top of that, three bathroom stalls were broken!! No bueno!! I will not return! Sorry!! :/

I was there for a birthday party tonight. The food was great, no problems there. My issue was with the management. The supervisor was rude to me and my sister in law because I came in a little after my group due to getting my baby from the car and getting stuff situated. That irritated me from the start, but it got bad for me when I asked the main male manager if they had any facilities or an area where I could nurse my baby and he told me I could go into the restroom and feed him in the big stall. Uhmm, does he want to eat in the bathroom? Really?!? A simple no we don't would suffice. How ridiculous!! And while I had waited to speak to him I watched him talking really badly about other customers whom he had a disagreement with. It was just all really unprofessional. They were not courteous or sympathetic. I'm just talking about management. The rest of the staff were great. Very friendly, helpful and open.

Once upon a time I loved taking my daughter here. We would spend hours playing games. The food was decent and the place was clean. That was long long ago. I went back a few weeks ago and it was truly disgusting. The food was gross, the whole place was dirty and every single stall in the bathroom was dirty. EVERY ONE!! I mean come on people clean up after yourself at least when you leave a bathroom stall. Needless to say we won't be going back there!

This place has the potential to be good; however the management is terrible. When we were cutting the cake for a 2 year old's birthday party, the manager essentially told us that our time was up, and we had to leave. We were literally about to push the knife into the cake, and asked for 10 more minutes, just to sing to her, and pass out cake. We offered to give up all of our other tables, if she just let us keep the table the cake was on while we ended the celebration. She declined this, and my niece did not get to share her cake with her family. I am so disappointed in this place. The inexperienced manager made a terrible decision, and if this in any indication as to how the place is ran overall, I would advise to find another venue for parties.

What the f*** this place is crazy. Cant find a table, nobody at the bar to give me my 8 dollar beer, half the games are broken, but the pizza was good and the kids had a blast. FYI DO NOT PAY FOR A DRINK CUP. ITS A SCAM. Pay for your buffet tell them you are not thirsty... free drinks after you get in. Also this parking lot is like trying to park at the mall.

Really bad service. Went with a group of my family and they kick you out after eating there after 2 hours. Really inconvenient when you are trying to spend time with family. Would not come back again they should state this 2 hour limit right before one pays.

Great buffet, awesome rides, loved the icee machine and there is a neon golu course, bumper cars, and bowling...I recommend it for kids and adults...when I went there was very few games closed and there is even rides. There is a toddler area which was useful. This place is very fun and I recommend u taking the kids.also there is a whole dessert buffet....YUM

I've driven by this location for years and always wondered what was inside. Seems like I was a few decades too late. It's basically a buffet for kids. You will find very little protein here: it's all carbs...rice, pasta, etc. I was starving at the time, but I found the cheesy rice absolutely delicious. The pizza was not half-bad either. I really enjoyed the Alfredo and Fiesta pizzas. The quality is wildly inconsistent, so you may have to wait a few batches for it to be just right. One thing I will note is that the cashier assumed a lot. I didn't want soda and she automatically charged me for it. I had to ask her politely to redo the transaction.

I went here with some friends because why not? I wasn't expecting good food. But I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza is not that bad. The mashed potatoes are pretty good & they also have baked potatoes! The dessert looked super sketch & dry so I didn't even bother.. But for the most part I thought the food was pretty decent for only being around 7 bucks!

This place is the Latina Coach purse wearing capital of the World. Man, pretty much every mom had a Coach purse..WTF? The guys looked like convicts or thugs. All that was needed was Art Laboe. Anyways, the food was good and considering what you pay, it is a great deal. I can only imagine if I was a kid this place would be freakin' amazing. It is pretty chaotic when you go in. You'd think they were giving away the food. Be ready for pushing and shoving from people who lack in the manners department, but I guess that is more a symptom of misguided culture these days. I guess the low prices attract that type of person. Even though this explains the majority of the patrons that were there at the time, I'm sure there are exceptions and there were some families that actually didn't look like they serve d time in Corcoran State Pen. The staff was very good and the cleanup crews were very attentive. I'll go again but this time during the week when its less crowded

This place is such a rip-off!! Even the birthday parties (which are overpriced) are crappy. The food is nasty, lines are long, employees are all minimum wage NAZIs and beers are too expensive. Its like Chuckee-Cheese on crack. Unless you enjoy wasting money and large headaches, stay away from this dirty germ-infested place.

food is typical ayce kinda kid place. Not recommended for adults. lol but the arcade games are pretty awesome for an indoor place. Kids love it. Also, i find the different themed dining rooms creative and cute. Very good idea. THere should be more places like this. Indoor activities are good when it gets cold in the winter. No One wants to be outside freezing their butts off waiting for a ride or playing games. Very bad thing is omg tooo tooo packed and crowded. Alot of really ghetto people pushing around and all these kids unattended at the buffet area dropping ice cream and food all over the floors, I'm sure the people who has to clean has to do it often. I hate crowded places especially when people have no manners and cut and shove.

Stopped here on the way back from Palm Springs. Atmosphere and the games and activities were great. Food was adequate - not terrible, not exactly tasty. It has more variety than a comparable Chuck E. Cheese in all areas - food, games, space, and atmosphere. And it seemed really clean.
