I can't complain about the food and the price looks fair. The problem is that if you don't check, they charge you a different price every time. They also charge $.50 if you use a credit with less than $10.00 purchase. Also, they don't have fountain drinks and they charge too much per can if you need more than one. They have a slice of pepperoni pizza for $2.99 and I asked if I can get a different slice for the same price. They said "sure!" Then it was $5.99 and asking about it is almost useless. I only go there because they are close to my work but I have to asked about every order.

The best and most fresh pizza in town and surrounding areas. The owner is a nice man and always listen to customers.I like to eat the pizza only at this place

I was between pizza and sushi and you can guess which won. I called to ask if they take Amex which they do so I out an order for a large Hawaiian just pineapple and ham. All I have to say is wow amazing tasting pizza I will be coming back whenever I'm in town. I almost killed the whole pizza by myself.

Great kebab today. Excellent spices create memorable flavors and aromas. The portions and presentation were just right. I'm looking forward to returning to try the pizza.

I ordered my pizza at 6:15 it's 7:45 and I'm still waiting for it. The service is terrible, the person who took my order couldn't even spell regular cross streets. The owner is rude and even confronted his employee while on the phone with me because she told me it would take 25-35 mins. I will never order from here again.

  • Janiece D.

Terrible. I had food delivered and it took two hours. It was cold and no discount for the inconvenience. Rude and slow service.

The Philly cheesesteak is the best around. I've been on the East Coast and this thing is way better than anything I've even had over there. It's literally the perfect food. I can Ravenaux about the Philly cheesesteak. The fries I come with are so-so but they come with the meal. Even then you just can't go wrong with the Philly cheesesteak. The bread is so fresh and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The meat is great quality and the cheese is real cheese and tasty as hell. Once I ordered a slice of pizza and it was really good too. But every time I make my way out to Lathrop I just can't not order a Philly cheesesteak.

Back at the same old pizza joint! The owner gives personal service and makes you feel like an old friend! My wife loves the Mexican pizza and the rice and Kabob dish... I almost always get the chez steak! I line it. And they have a $6.99 special can't beat it best pizza in Lathrop and surrounding area?

    (5)
  • Chris D.

Can't get enough. Big Boss is ridiculous in size! Love the customer service, especially at Lathrop store. Very family friendly. Manteca store a it smaller, but same great taste!

  • Katy S.

Delicious pizza! The owner is super friendly and was very accommodating. Even though they were really busy, he made a great vegan Mediterranean pizza for us.

I decided to give the place a try after driving past it many times going to starbucks. The employees were all really warm and welcoming. I ordered the roasted garlic supreme pizza which was REALLY tasty. I normally prefer thick crust pizza, but this was surprisingly delightful. My family also ordered the Shami Kabob which came with rice, grilled veggies, lettuce and nan or pita bread. The seasonings were great, however I wasnt too thrilled with the meat. . .but it did say ground beef, so im not sure why i was expecting something else. The chicken wrap however was really really delicious, and enough to feed two people =) Overall I am pleased with the place, a tad pricey but worth the food!

Great pizza and great atmosphere! Been going here for years, and won't stop! Used to be owned by a guy who smoked pot out back when it was called sicily. Guy was an idiot, but the new owners are awesome.

  • Ria O.

My experience was pretty bad. I called them trying to order and I was trying to explain to them the coupon I have, then the guy pretty much cut me off and said to come on in. When I arrived to the place I gave him the coupon then the guy was like " I don't need that dude, I need the money. " He did not take my order either nor did he ask what topping I wanted. As I tried to get his attention he ignored me. I did not want pepperoni either. Like what type of pizza place doesn't ask their customers what topping they would like? Rude and horrible customer service. I recommend just ordering pick up instead of going to the place to avoid their horrible customer service.

  • Brad S.

this places's saving grace is that the food is good. be prepared to wait... and wait... and wait, however. and dont try to just "swing by" and pick something up before work... its more worth it to drive the extra 5 miles (10 round trip) to manteca. example; as i write this i'm waiting on breadsticks to complete the two sandwich order i called in an hour ago... bottom line, good food, crap customer service.

  • Dierdra M.

Tried to have lunch but the owner was rude, the service horribly slow and every time I go by now the owner is outside smoking. Hope he washes his hands every single time.

This is not a review of the pizza-- I didn't order the pizza though my kids DID and liked it enough to take the pieces back and finish them (which is unusual for them) and the price of a slice and a soda can was decent. We stopped here between Angel's Camp and the Bay Area without expectations. We just wanted to try something different than chain fast food. What we ordered was chicken kabob that totally blew us away (They cook breast meat kebobs in a pizza oven which ended up incredibly moist and flavorful)-- My wife and I ordered the same thing and both of us were amazed. The other family in restaurant at that time were amazed with their order too, complimented the owner, and ordered 2 more orders to carry home to SoCal. I can only imagine what the ground beef kabobs were like (they were sold out when we arrived). Hole in the wall ambience but clean and the owner was friendly. If you believe drinking water should be free in a restaurant, you will be offended that they only serve bottled water; if you love good kabobs you might overlook this.

Worst pizza experience ever, first off I called the pizza in, was told 20-25mins it would be ready. Once I arrive my pizza is still not done and I'm told by the girl up front it would be another 20mins until the pizza is done so I'm like okay, it's a little busy I'll wait. 30mins goes by and guess what ? STILL NO PIZZA so the girl and the owner are arguing over the pizza he's saying "I already made that pizza" comes to find out the driver took the pizza out for delivery and they expected me to wait until he returned for my correct pizza. YEAH RIGHT, on top of that he calls back saying his car broke down and he's trying to find a way back to the store. I got my money back and left. ILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN, NOR FORWARD ANY FRIENDS HERE FOR BUSINESS.

My family and I had been Milan regulars. We call in for a delivery once a month. At first, we enjoyed the food, but the quality has been getting worse and worse. Tonight we were forced to end our "relationship" with Milan's after experiencing EXTREMELY rude customer service. My husband called in an order for delivery. We were told it would take 30-45 minutes. We waited over 2 hours (this happened last time we ordered as well). Our order showed up without the drinks it comes with, with onions when we said no onions explicitly, the food was cold and the pizza was smashed and had slid across to one side of the box... it was completely destroyed. I called to inform someone that I was disappointed in the quality and how long we had to wait, I just wanted an apology. The woman who answered was beyond rude. Instead of acknowledging their mistakes and just saying sorry she told me to never come back. I wasn't planning on anyways! By her immediate defensive tone, I'm guessing she's heard the same complaint(s) before! I will be sure to tell everyone I know to NEVER go to this restaurant EVER!

First time here I decided to give this place a try since I had a coupon for buy a extra large pizza with 3 toppings get a 14" cheese pizza for free. Wait time 30-35 mins arrived at 4:30pm. Greeted by an older gentleman and was very nice. Got home within 10 mins and pizza was hot and good not bad. Service was great. Would recommend.

Great tasting pizza. Hard to find pizza that tastes this great. Will definitely be coming again.

  • Jeff C.

If you want to place an order over the phone, be aware of the Middle Eastern guy that answers. He speaks as if he's mad that he has to take orders. Take some pride in what you do or just STOP BEING SO CHEAP AND GET ONLINE ORDERING. There is no reason to rush someone and be rude when they are spending money with you. I definitely would not recommend this place and will never order here again whether it's delivery or dine in

My visit here today inspired me to join Yelp after years of using this website to pick quality restaurants and avoiding the bad ones. On the actual subject at hand, I'm not reviewing the food I had, but rather the service. The owner of this place is a tremendous asshole. Upon first entering I'm greeted by him being rude to one of his employees because she had the gall to pick up her check (?). Really bizarre. Then I noticed that he was handlng the pizza with the same hands he just used to handle cash with, which was then followed by him being a creep to the kids in front of me and treating them like they were going to rob him. Based on all this, I advise you to not give your cash to this establishment and choose somewhere else. Hell, you're better off going to Little Caesar's.

Absolutely Love this Place, the Service is great, they make you feel like family when you walk in the door. I love to go in a grab a slice and a soda, one slice is all you need. It is huge! I always get their Hot wings! I have also had their Philly Cheese steak Sandwiches and it was very Yummy too. They have great salads too! I think the next tiem I go in I will get there Gyro, still need to try that!

Great pizza for a cheap price! They also have a monster pizza for less than $40!! The manager is funny and calls everyone his cousin. Be prepared to wait at least 15 min for a slice of pizza because everything is made fresh! #ILoveMilans

Love love love this place! Great people and excellent pizza! The toppings are always fresh, the pizza is always cooked perfectly and I am a happy customer. Just do yourself a favor and do pick up, not delivery. There are amazing coupons available for pick-up as well!

  • Gabrielle C.

I ordered 2 mushroom pizzas in advance and they said that it was going to take 30 minutes. I ran some errands beforehand and I went to pick up the 2 pizzas 1 hour later. I gave them an extra 30 minutes. By the time I got there I thought I was going to quickly pay and they'll hand me the pizzas. But this was not the case. I had to wait about an extra 10-15 min in the store. (I gave them an extra 30 minutes!) They should've voluntarily gave me a discount for the extra wait time, but no, they did not. Oh yeah, and while I was waiting I heard one of the employees SNEEZE (where they make the pizzas).

It was my first time here. The pesto all green pizza was so good! It was perfect, i had the philly cheese, and that was good too. They have the biggest pizza size i have ever seen, THE BIG BOSS. Mike was cool guy too, i think he was the owner, im def coming back for the good pizza n more

Wow 15.25$ for a medium pizza that was smaller than a household dinner plate.I'm a Swift truck driver and was really looking forward to having some hot pizza so I called them the first I'm and a girl picked up the phone. I asked her if they delivered over here to the swift yard and she just kept replying what. I've been driving for 11 hours and I was a little frustrated that I had to repeat myself 4 times. So I told her never mind I'll call somewhere else she said okay. So when I realize what time it was and that most delivery places were closed I decided to give them a shot one more time. So I call them again and a man answered the phone. He sounded like he may have been Armenian or Persian anyways he sounded like he was higher than a kite when I asked him do you guys deliver to this location. You said oh yeah we deliver to the swift yard all the time so I ordered a medium pepperoni and sausage pizza and when it got here. It was semi warm but it was the smallest medium pizza I have ever had in my life very disappointed will not call again. I think the thing that bugs me the most was the two pieces of pepperoni and two prices of sausage per slice. They're clearly charging very high prices for small pizzas with little to no toppings on them.

Not from around here and found this place via Aroundme app. We decided to dine in. The bathrooms were less than desirable, dark and a little dirty. Pizza seem to take a very very long time especially when we are literally the only ones here. Customer service is a little off. The BBQ pizza was drowning in sauce... Eh, I doubt I'll ever return,

I stopped by Milan's today to talk to the manager about the quality of his pizza. I had noticed the taste slipping since he opened a second store. He pulled his ordering information and showed that he was using the same ingredients and only top quality. We talked about preparation as he thought that that might be the difference. He had a slice prepared right then to sample and go over the results. I have to say that it was a great improvement over the previous one. What ever caused the problems before seems to have been fixed. He assured me that he constantly monitors the product. I'll refer my friends there again and ask that they bring any issues to the owner's attention. He was very receptive to my criticisms. My wife and I both agree this is the best pizza in Lathrop.

First, I know about New Jersey and New York pizzas that are my wonderful childhood memories from mom and pop restaurants!Often pizza places all begin to taste the same, not with Milan's Pizza! There is great tasting flavor in the sauce! The pizza dough is cooked perfectly! No matter which type of pizza or pizzas you eat from Milan's the toppings are fresh! Each pizza I have tasted from Milan's is created and prepared with great care and love. No wonder people travel miles away to eat a great tasting pizza from Milan's! You are in for a treat!!

I love this pizza place! Make sure to grab a coupon you can get a 18"XLarge pizza 2-toppings for only $12.99! That's a deal, and it's large enough to share with 4 people. The pizza dough is made fresh daily too! If your not craving pizza they also offer kabobs, salads, & calzones. I would recommend this pizza place and guarantee it will not disappoint!

*** Please note that the Pizza, Kabobs, Gyros and the like are made fresh here and are not put in a microwave for quick and easy pickup*** IF you're used to eating at McDisgusting or Burger Dude you're at the wrong place! :) Pizza is New York Style (Thin crust, large enough where you must fold it in half or eat it with a fork). Their pizza is very good and priced right with one of their coupons. The Gyros and Kabobs are very delicious too. It's a shame more people don't know about them or give them a try. I've ordered the chicken kabob more than 5X now. It is extremely delicious as it comes with aromatic seasoned rice, several pieces of seasoned grilled chicken, toss in a grilled tomato and pepper. The sides are a small salad that comes with an "Italian like" dressing, a piece of warm fluffy flat bread, which reminds me of Indian naan, and their amazing Chanti sauce. Wow that sauce is deliteful and make the chicken kabob meal a wonderful treat. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel at home. Don't come here expecting to order your food (pizza, gyro, or kabob) and leave within 10 minutes. Fresh food only is made here and it's worth the wait!! Try the darn chicken kabob, you'll love it!!!!

I actually got some of the pizza this time, a typical large pepperoni. The thing takes some serious dexterity to eat. The crust had no form whatsoever and flopped all over itself. The cheese slid right off.

this is the place to go for a slice. you will not be disappointed.

First time there must have been a fluke. This time we just had a craving for a simple pepperoni and called up this place. The pizza was totally bland. No flavor to the red sauce and we didn't taste the pepperoni either. That may have been because there wasn't really any on the pizza also. The red sauce looked like their recipe, so maybe they forgot to add spices? It was just bland. Now I hate the pizza huts, caesars, roundtables and dominos red sauce because they're soooo sweet(and well their pizzas just suck in general which is why I don't like commercial pies), so I was really hoping for a non-sweet sauce, but NO FLAVOR at all? Non existent spices? Bummed. I don't know what happened . . .it just tasted like if Wal-Mart sold pizza that's what they'd serve you. Low quality garbage. Very Very disappointing after such a great start. I had to brush my teeth just to get the grossness out of my mouth. so gross. The staff was nice, but meh on the pie. Maybe they were too busy to give the pie some love in putting it together, or because the owner wasn't there??? IDK if a place doesn't make the simplest things well, I won't go rushing back there for my next pizza craving. I'm just bummed b/c I thought I had found "The BEST pizza" around here, and I was totally wrong.

Excellent homemade pizza with awesome crust. Wish it was near my home. And the owner hilariously is sarcastic.

  • Haseeb B.

LOL my brother and his freinds just had their pizza delivered and the delivery boy took the "tip" without permission. Long story short, the delivery boy calls them stupid because the gas prices are too damn high. Well, maybe they should start CHARGING for delivery instead? Worst service

Went in this place today to check out this business, the owner was really a dick! The rudest old mad alive, no Joke. As I was leaving he said "Hey where you going?" I went back to see what was up, he said "what are you doing ORDER SOME FUCKING FOOD!" I was in shock I was never expecting for someone to talk to me like that behind a business counter! I made it clear it was not ok to talk to me like this! But I do not recommend people to come in this place unless they want to be disrespected! Told couple of people about this and they told me that the owner "the old man" was known to be a perv too! They told me he's being sued for sexual harassment! He tried to feel up on a young girl that was his employee! I don't know this was true but it shocked me.

Despite being conveniently located next to the highway, this place has absolutely TERRIBLE service and is ridiculously overpriced. The people running the establishment were rude and seemed to lack any sort of sense. I wanted something quick, and after being promised my food within a few minutes, I was made to wait for over half an hour. If they had told me it was going to take that long, I would have gone elsewhere. Instead, they chose to continually tell me it would be "only a few minutes" and kept me waiting. When I asked about my order or even just for some water, I was met with people who had no idea what was going on or any respect for the fact that I had been waiting for well beyond their estimated time. After I had already ordered, I asked for a cup of water and the lady behind the counter told me to go to the place next door and ask them. WHO DOES THAT?? Overall recommendation- skip this place and try one of the other places nearby. Without a doubt any of the other restaurants in that complex would provide a far better experience.

I came here with my brother and his girlfriend, because it was close to the freeway. His girlfriend wanted pizza while we were on a long-ish trip, so they went in together while I waited in the car...and fell asleep waiting. About 20 minutes later, my brother comes out and explains that they ordered a slice of pizza, which they were told would be ready in minutes. About 18 minutes later, they ask what happened and are told that the single slice of pizza was delivered to someone else - I ask you, who delivers a single slice of pizza? Especially when a customer is already on hand at the store and waiting for that slice of pizza? And then they absolutely failed to tell their customers - who are just sitting around waiting - that they will be about half an hour or so, because Milan's gave their slice of pizza - which they promised would be ready instantaneously - to someone else. I walked in to use the bathroom, and figured out that the mess would be sorted out by the time I got out. Nope. I was still groggy, so I passively watched while a pizza pie about the size of a small patio table top was lifted out of the oven and sliced. "Two, right?" asked a man, holding up the slices so that they were totally perpendicular to the floor. The cheese began to travel downward. "Just one," said my brother's girlfriend tiredly. Some other idiot walked by and said, "You missed out. I would have given you two." What a puzzling thing to say. About 10 minutes later - by now we've been at this establishment for 40 minutes, for what should have been fast food - I strode to the counter in a fury. At that very moment, the woman at the counter produced the pizza. I snatched it away, annoyed that it had already been paid for. I voiced my discontent with the service, and she looked at me, dumbfounded. "I'll get my manager," she finally said. The manager looked like a rat, or maybe some kind of gray weasel. First he kept me waiting while he talked on his cell phone, then he put it away and stared at me. I told him we had been treated shamefully and that I expected a refund. And he said, "But we made a whole new fresh pizza, just for you," - twice - because it was a ludicrous argument and I kept denouncing it. His business is to make pizzas, so for him to act like we were putting him out after his outrageous incompetence was infuriating. "All right then," I told him after the second time, "Are you going to give us the entire pizza?" "No!" "Well then why should I be impressed when you kept us waiting for over 30 minutes?" And then he had the gall to tell us that we hadn't actually been waiting for that long - that we were lying. I wanted to strangle him! On the way out, my brother said that he had asked for a glass of water while they waited, and the woman at the counter had turned around and shouted back, "Am I allowed to just give them tap water?" The answer she received was no. So the customers of this fine establishment are not good enough to receive water gratis during their 40+ minute waits. A single slice of pizza costs $5. The facts speak for themselves. This place deserves zero stars, but I suppose the luck that has kept it in business despite the fact that it is terrible in every way has brought it one star that it does not deserve.

So I have to admit that I haven't tried their pizza yet but what i did try was their philly cheese steak.... It was GREATTT.. I expected it to be a plain old cheesesteak that u can get anywhere but theirs was so full of flavor. Sure it was on the greasy side but once you try it you'll come back for more.. If their cheesesteak was this good.. their pizza must be as great... I will definitely return to check out the other items onthe menu.. Also, I'm glad that they serve halal meat.. my best friend is Islamic so she has to eat certain meat because of her religion. It's nice to know that there's a plce we can dine in and eat whatevers on menu instead of picking a vegetarian or seafood restaurant.

I love thin crust pizza and Milan offers a really great thin crust. I only ate their 2 times so far, but will go back and continue to try other items. Not to mention, the people there were extremely friendly!!! The first time I went, I ordered the Halal beef kabob plate. I worked as a chef for several years and consider myself to have a very sensative palate when it comes to flavors....so, the plate was delicious! The basamati rice was flavored perfectly, and the herbs and spices in the kabob were spot on. My only complaint, and very slight complaint, was that it the beef kabob would have been juicier with less time on the grill. Other than that, I would order it again. The second time I went, I order just a mushroom slice to go. It was really tastey and I was pleased at the plentifulness of mushrooms that were on the pizza :) A slice of pizza and a can of soda was only $2.99.

Needing much needed gas and food after a long trip up north from Southern California, this place was an unexpected treat. Not only was it not your ordinary pizza plaza (as there Halal meat available as well as gyros and kababs), the quality was excellent. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak which was oven-roasted to perfection. The bread was just chewy enough and the meat was tender. Both of my parents had the Afghan Style pizza which had a nice balance of spicy and sweet, with excellent spiced meat. On top of it all, the staff was extremely attentive, friendly, and funny! If we find ourselves in the area again, we'll be back!

My family goes there quite a bit for the Pizza Slice and Pop and the slices are huge and they taste very good. Just recently we went there and tried the Garlic Fries. They were AMAZING! The best I have ever had. The people at Milan's are always so friendly and helpful to me and my family. We will definitely be eating there again.

Had the Gyro lunch special with baked fries and soda. Not bad at all. Quick and tasty. Could have been just a bit tastier but good overall. More seasoning on the fries please it's mmmmm good :) Will probably go back and try their pizza.

WOW! I've been reading all the reviews and I am shocked. I thought there prices were great! I usually go to blondes pizza in SFO and I don't have to make that trip anymore. I love there pepperoni becasuse it's all beef. The onwer was very nice and took me to the backand showed me the freezer and the labels to ensure me that it's not pork (I don't eat pork). There delvery service has also been great! I love this place!

If you have a team event at Manteca BLD & you want to do better than chain pizza, this is your place. Excellent pizza, many different options. Magnificent service - special kudos to Michael who took care of my large order. The location is a little hidden in a corner of the plaza, but it's worth the effort. Looking forward to trying the Afghan dishes next time around.

Ate there for the first time today, we ordered: buffalo wings, garlic cheese bread, the LA Super Combo pizza, a Cheese steak sandwich and a calzone. The customer service was great and our food was so delicious! I totally recommend this restaurant. It was clean, and the people there were very nice!

I give this little pizza shop all five stars. This is a small pizza place. The food is good they even have " halal" foods which I believe is great for muslims. I know there has been a few times that my family has ordered here and they got the order wrong. The guys there know my family and my baby siblings and love them! Even give my sibs lil lollipops when we go there. Well yesterday I took my siblings there to order and pick up the pizza. When we got there the older man said hello and recognized my sibs. When asking for the specials he gives me a sheet of paper that has the specials points at the specialty pizzas and walks away. So as Im waiting to place my order, I tried my best to politely get his attention. He finally takes my order and I politely let him know that it will be a to go order and he says," of course it is, I dont want you here.". Um Im sorry you may know my family but this is the first time Ive met you and whether or not you were joking, how would I know that? I dont even know you! Not cool. Also it seemed like they were pretty unorganized. When my pizza was done and the guy cane to give it to me, i had to tell him I hadnt paid yet. Same with the customer before me. So you mean to say we could have walked out with free pizzas??? How do u stay in business, if you forget to ring people up?? Um overall a mediocre experience 2 stars for the bbq chicken pizza. My siblings LOVE it. 1 star for being nice to my baby sibs. I hope I never have to go back.

I am not one to ever write a poor review on small businesses. But this was just an awful experience. The employees were very nice; that's all fine. But my god, the pizza was terrible, just terrible. It looked burnt, but it tasted like it was microwaved. Which is strangely confusing, because I have ordered from their sister store in Manteca countless times, and it was ALWAYS spectacular. I was always surprised by the excellent taste and quality especially for the pricing. How could two stores that share the same ownership and menu items, differ so much in taste and quality?? I had a few friends over for poker and game night, and I learned that the Lathrop location was a little closer to my home. So I ordered an XLarge and Garlic Bread for $26. The garlic bread was FAR better than the pizza itself. We all hoped the pizza would fill our hungry stomachs but we all would have much preferred even a Digorno or Fruschetta pizza. Worst $26 I ever spent, next time I'm sticking with the Manteca location, or even picking up Little Caesers. Get it together guys.

Today I ordered a "slice" of veggie pizza, parmesan garlic "bocci" bites, and a soda. Before tip/tax, it was about $11. The "slice" of pizza was huge! I'm pretty confident that this is the largest "slice" of pizza I have ever seen. When it was served, it was cut into 8 pieces, each about the size of a business card. It was good, too. Not spectacular, but good. A nice mix of veggies, thin tasty crust, fresh. The bocci bites were overwhelming. For $5, you get a giant plate of them, and they are VERY garlicky. I would have preferred a half-order, but that wasn't a thing. They don't have a soda machine, so you are buying a 12 oz can, or bottled water. So why the two stars? Service and sanitation. I didn't mind so much that it took 15 minutes to get my "slice" of pizza, but the place desperately needs a deep cleaning, insect control, and a lesson in customer service. During my wait I heard the owner yell angrily at an employee, say "oh shit" to someone while on the phone after realizing he'd forgotten something important, and make other weird and off-hand remarks while being exceptionally terse to customers. And not in an endearing Soup Nazi kind of way. There were a few large ants along the walls and some flies (the front door was wide open the entire time I was there). The table cloths and just about everything else needed a serious cleaning. I suppose if you order for delivery, your experience would be far better. And for all I know, this might be Lathrop's best pizza place. I hope not.

These guys are dickheads. Waited at least two hours for my pick up order. While waiting for it to be ready inside the location I witnessed the employee at the register get annoyed by the incoming calls. And what I witnessed was truly amazing. He would pick up the phone then hang up immediately. Wow. Just wow.

We found this on a drive south on the 5, what a great find! Owner was super friendly and the pizza was really great! Fresh ingredients and a great crust, will stop again!

Here is what totally sucks. We have eaten here from the time they opened. We are locals and live about 5 minutes away, have lived here for 5 years now. First time out, they recruited some loyal customers and we ate some amazing pizza. Pretty close to what we had when we lived in Europe. Had a bump in the road a couple of years ago...some angry man took over and, well, lets just say it was no longer a match. Picked it up again about a year ago, pizza still amazing. Quite surprised at the price. Not once, not twice, but several times....we were ordering from coupons and the menu that we were given. Just didn't add up. Pizza still amazing. Tonight I ordered from a coupon, but asked if they could modify with veggies on one half of the special for an additional 4 dollars. (Seriously, I AM OFFERING THEM MORE MONEY FOR A MINOR MODIFICATION) Up front, I said it wasn't a problem if they couldn't, but we are regulars (we were in less than 2 weeks ago). He literally asked me if i didn't have enough money to pay for the pizza!! If I had not already promised my son, I would have hung up. We ordered the "single topping special" for 6.99. He told me it would be 8.99. I mentioned we were given a coupon two weeks ago......says 6.99...omg? Am I really having this conversation?? The pizza was amazing. We won't be back.

I'm not sure if they have a new owner here but it seems like it's run by Indians now who are greedy and don't give you the soda anymore with the slice of pizza. I will not be going back there again

Great pizza and salad! Great prices! Very friendly and in a nice location. We had pepperoni and a Hawaiian slice. The crust was great.

We ordered their king kong size pizza (half garlic chicken/half combination), which was HUGE! It literally only took ONE slice to fill me up! Will easily feed 8-10 people, and the price was decent (less than $40!) Their crust is good, and their service is phenomenal! The workers there are really friendly and are quick to make conversation while you wait to get your pizza boxed. Would definitely recommend Milan's pizza for those who live locally. It's right next to Savemart, so walking across the parking lot to pick up a few beers to go with your yummy pizza is a must! And for those who don't live close to it, it's right off the Lathrop Rd exit, it's definitely worth the drive on the freeway if you don't live locally. I am only giving 4 stars because their cheesy bread was a bit too salty. Other than that, their pizza was great!

Pizza is good, the size and price are pretty awesome. But when we ordered pizza I noticed the guy didn't wear gloves when he prepared that and touched the ingredients with his hands. So I don't think that I'm coming back.

Good food but like previous reviews mention shitty service. I visit often as I live close by and I do like there pizza and also chicken sandwiches. I sometimes get the kabob which is also good. But what I hate is I order on the phone and every time I get there it's never ready. Like never. Ever ever. Never. Every time I sit there and wait. Today they looked at me like I was crazy. I'm like wow I just ordered $30 worth of food someone took my order and even told me it would be 40 minutes which I already thought was a long dam time. So I went in 45 minutes later and no one even knew of my order. And as always I waited 20 minutes for them to make it for me. I guess it's time find a new pizza place to eat at.

Lived in Lathrop for 3 years but visited Milan's for the first time today. The food was very good and a better than average selection to choose from. Really enjoyed the customer service!

My first time here and I have to say the food was pretty good. Customer service was decent, I'll give them that. I've worked as a manager at a restaurant before and let me tell you my number one pet peeve! Not washing hands and not wearing gloves! It's a common sense policy and these people do not know how to exucute them! The cashier girl was friendly but when I watched her reach over a high shelf of stacked pizza boxes and it went tumbling everywhere, she decided to picked them up along with her co worker or manager and PUT THEM RIGHT BACK ON THE SHELF!! So unsanitary and going beyond the rules of food hazard! There was also a mistake that the girl did and they discussed it out in the open in front of the customers! Embarrassing her and all. Take her in the back and discuss the issue privately and professionally! Overall, when they change their ways, I just might return.

This is an update from a review I did a couple years ago. Obviously things changed and not for the better. There's new management, staff and ownership one or all of the above. The staff is unorganized, the pizza prices have now doubled and the food gets a thumbs down. I really don't like to write reviews like this but like any other hard working individual when you spend money you expect good service and good food. We got neither. We spent over $40.00 on a medium pizza, garlic cheesy fries that had no cheese or garlic and were served 20 minutes after we got our pizza, plus 4 cans of soda and a gyro. Note to self: Check yelp prior to visiting restaurants! If I had, I wouldn't of gone :\

pros- cheap pizza cons- the cooks smoke cigarettes like trains and dont wash their hands or wear gloves when making your food.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Had to go to the counter to request a knife (how many? then handed to me with the girl gripping the cutting end .. GERMS); to request a fork (how many? handed me 3 plastic forks); DIRTY .. immediately outside is a shared large garbage container .. overflowing onto the ground; numerous employees (family members?) sitting around doing nothing; some outside smoking; one pizza was dry and burnt and one was excellent. We were 5 professionals there for the first time; NEVER to return; this one horrible experience was the only reason I've registered with Yelp.. I'm 65 and this is my first post ... the place was generally dirty; I'll take a "chain pizza place" anytime over this mismanaged "family business". The owner said their water was so bad he wouldn't give me a "free glass of water" .. yet they use that same water to make their crust?? This place is a JOKE.

When my son asked what Yelp rating I was going to give Milan's, I told him it was a tough call. I mean, how do I give a rating to a pizza place based on eating something not pizza related. A Gyro sandwich in this case. Well, shortly after making that statement to my kid, the manager Daniel handed me a pizza box. Inside of the box, Daniel made two slices of garlic chicken pizza for me to try. I didn't ask for it nor did I ever make mention that I wanted to try the pizza. It was a pure and good gesture from Daniel's heart. Later and after getting home, I tried the pizza Daniel had given me. It wasn't the best I've eaten but, It was far from the worst. And the Gyro I had eaten at Milan's early wasn't the best. But in their defense, who go's to a pizza joint and orders a Gyro then, expects it to be better than any other eaten in the past? Overall, my first experience at Milan's was a decent one. The staff from the time we walked in the door was attentive and helpful. And even though the food wasn't the best, I'd return just to have a coke so I could experience their excellent customer service again. To my man Daniel. Your doing a great job running the place. The only recommendation I would make is, take some time to ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant, specifically the restroom. No one likes a dirty John that's out of paper towels and TP. Especially one that's co-ed. It really turns the ladies off if you know what I mean and we can't have that.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
