Houston's is a consistently good restaurant for lunch or dinner. For lunch I usually have the Fish sandwich with coleslaw and it is a fantastic lunch dish. For dinner I recommend the prime rib with loaded baked potato. It is a huge portion so you will want to be hungry. I use to eat in their NYC restaurant where they had a great NY strip steak but unfortunately they do not have it on the OC menu. Everything from the staff to the ambience and the food is top class. The one negative is they could not make me an apple martini? Seems bizarre that a fully stocked bar has to have a limited cocktail menu.
