After looking at different places we decided to pick this hall and I'm glad we made the right choice. Albert (manager) was accommodating to us compare to other places who only entertain Armenians. My guests also complimented about the food but as the hostess i thought the portion was not enough. Overall I still would recommend this place to other Filipino families who are looking for a venue. We celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday here and it was wonderful. Albert, our coordinator, was very pleasant, accommodating, and patient. The entire staff the day of the party was very helpful and efficient. The food was excellent and abundant; and so was the choice of liquor. I would recommend this venue to everyone. Anoush Ballroom is very elegant and there is no need to bring much decorations since the ballroom decor and lighting is well-designed. All of our guests are still raving about the party and the delicious food.

I planned my husband's 50th surprise birthday party which took place the first week of November and Albert @ Anoush Restaurant by Glendale Galleria was a tremendous help. He made me feel comfortable and calm through the entire process. My event went really well. I do have to say that the contract between me and Anoush restaurant prepared by Albert is a bit confusing thought as there is way too much information and too many numbers to look at. Overall I am very happy with his service.

We had our daughter's "Welcome Baby" at the Galleria Lounge a couple months ago and were very impressed with everything from A to Z. Albert organized everything for us and was very kind, prompt and helpful. Since we had never eaten there, we requested a food tasting. We told him it's only for two people but they set up an entire table for 10 people! They were typical Armenian...hospitable, gracious and so giving! We loved the food and so did all our guests. The service on the day of the event was great as well. Overall, we were very happy with the service and would definitely book another event there in the future. :)

My first choice on picking our wedding venue was at LA Banquets, Galleria Ballroom. I attended a wedding here prior to our reception and I already liked it. As a smart shopper, I was open minded and checked out other venues also. From LA to OC. However, LA Banquets beat every venue we checked out. From its Victorian room that looks like a palace, to its massive menu, I had to have it here. Not to mention Albert, the manager, he's just organized and took care of us. Albert, you're awesome!!! My husband and I had our wedding reception here 08/24/14 (just a few days ago). Found this place based on family recommendations. My family has used some of their other locations for birthdays and other events so I know the food would be amazing and have a lot of options for those who can't eat certain things. Albert has been amazing with helping us organize everything - no problems at all from that end. Everything was perfect. The only complaints I've heard from guests were in regards to the valet people being a bit rude (slamming the doors to their cars and such and not being nice when asking if they wanted valet)... Most of my guests parked at the mall nearby. Gave 5 stars anyway since I didn't have any problems.... Probably because I was the one in the white dress. Haha! My experience here was great and would definitely recommend it.

i recently had my wedding reception here and i'm glad i chose this place. its decently priced and you get a lot for what you pay for. albert was really helpful and very open to hosting a gay wedding. i saw some venues before that, and when i mentioned "gay wedding" i got nothing but side eyes and awkward responses, but when i mentioned it to albert, he didnt flinch once. i got nothing but compliments from my guests on how good the food was and how full they were. i would definitely recommend this venue for any sort of reception.

Review for Anoush Banquet hall in Glendale. Event date: 2-26-2014 We had our wedding celebration at this fabulous place last Feb. 26, 2014. We planned it for about 3-4 months and all throughout this time, Albert had been AMAZING! He was very warm, accommodating of almost everything that we ask of him. Even if we were crazy and seems scattered, he does not say no, instead presents us with options. It definitely was a great help to have a celebration in a place where you don't feel restricted and limited. On the day itself. The place looked grand and classy. We had a very good feedback of our wedding from our guests. The staff were courteous and honest, we will definitely do another party with them. Thank you Anoush staff and thank you Albert. We had 10 days before our sons bday and we had to find a banquet hall that had an opening. I though there was no way, considering the short time period. Anoush was a first restaurant to ca, as we've always heard nothing but great things about their food. We were so glad we called them. Albert went above and beyond to help us make this special day happen. He is truly a God-send as he made phone calls for me to lighten my load! Lol. we had our wedding reception here and i regret it every day. Albert was never to be seen during the reception. He had said he would be there till 8 pm; he left at 6 before we arrived there. WE had catered from outside so the servers from the venue were so careless about the service. they had to be told whats should be done every 5 minutes and if we reminded that something was done then they would give us attitude. Their own word "you don't have tell me twice".... well then do it when we say it the first time! Paid extra for bar section: the bar tender was missing most of the time. He didn't even know how to use keg- our guest didn't know we were serving beer because of that for 2 hours! THEN THEY USED PLASTIC CUPS FOR ALL THE DRINKS! During my meeting with Albert, I had specifically asked about different types of glasses for different kinds of drink and he had said "oh yes sure" Who uses plastics cup for wedding and in such venue! WE went up to our cake stand to do our toast and our toast glass were empty! common sense, you think! and that too after paying for champagne tower for our guest. I mean the list goes on but honestly if you want your guests to tell you that the venue is pretty but the services is poor then you are more then welcome to go for this venue. Ruined our wedding reception but fortunately i have great family members and they were handling it from inside so our guest could enjoy; if there was a zero rating on this yelp I would not hesitate even for a second!

I had two weeks to find a presentable venue with affordable prices centrally located between our family and my brother's fiancee's family's locations. I presented my findings to the couple and, surprise surprise, they chose Anoush. For $35/person for dinner, this is a very good buy. This is what you get: * The whole afternoon, evening and most of the night. We had the place 4PM - 2 AM. * SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE. The valet and the servers all helped us unload, helped put up the decorations, helped pin flowers up, accommodated all our requests, helped us move our stuff, and then helped us load everything up again. * 20 appetizers, 3 types of entrees. Two or those entrees include chicken AND beef so it's like getting 5 entrees. * Fresh fruits for dessert. And they are sweet! * Bottle of Merlot per table. * Complimentary cake cutting. * Chivaris are standard. * "Satin" tablecloths are standard. * Charger plates are standard * The servers kept replacing the plates so our plates are always clean and new. * Wood floors, not carpet. No need to rent a dance floor. Some of the cons are the same as my previous review: * The wear and tear is showing. Water stains visible. * Thin walls so the loud party in the ballroom next door is TOTALLY bleeding into our party. * One bathroom for each gender only. They won't let us use the other side's. * The entrance, if you're using the small room instead of the ballroom, is kinda weird. At least in the North Hollywood location, ALL guests enter through the front entrance and the same lobby before having to split into the ballroom OR the lounge.

I just had my 30th birthday party at this location this past Friday and all I can say is WOW!! It exceeded my guests and my expectations. From day one, Albert was extremely helpful answering all of our questions. He was very quick with his email responses. The entire planning process went smoothly. The food was delicious, especially the salmon, and there was plenty of it! The size and setup of the hall was perfect for smaller parties. The dance floor is large enough to give you space to dance. Anoush banquets have been our go-to halls for our events for almost a decade now. My engagement party was held at Le Foyer ballroom a few years back, and our most recent event, my son's baby welcome party, was held at the Galleria ballroom. I talked to Albert for the entire planning/details process and everything went like a breeze; very professional and courteous. On the day of the event, everything from the lighting to the food to the waiting staff, exceeded our expectations. They opened up their place on new year's day to accommodate us, and we couldn't have been more happier with our experience. Thank you Albert, Vrej and the entire Anoush staff for making my son's baby welcome a night we will never forget!!! I always recommend you guys to my friends very highly!!

Great quality food! I went here for an aunts birthday/retirement party. They Catered everything and had great service. Constant refills for food and our server constantly made we were good with everything that we needed. We had a 3 course meal. Their appetizers were made up of different breads, sauces/dippings (hummus, eggplant, etc), and various meats and cheeses. The main dish were comprised with chicken, beef, and the traditional kabobs; alongside potatoes and diced salsa. The dessert was a cake alongside their espresso; the cake may be by request or our party may have provided it, but I heard they had options. Looks really well kept inside with a great foyer. It was well spaced. We had about 9 tables with about 12 people per table. They also have a stage area for a live band and a spacious dance floor. Great Experience!

The first thing that comes up to my head is absolutely amazing!! My husband and I just got married on 8/9/14 and we couldn't be happier with the service Albert provided us with. Albert was so helpful with every step of the way. His staff was AMAZING they constantly checked up with us and made sure everything was happening the way we wanted it to. The food, one word- DELICIOUS. I highly recommend this place for your big event. Planning these types of events are not easy but Albert and his team did a marvelous job at making us feel stress free and made things nice and easy. Although I did not end up choosing Galleria as my wedding venue because I decided to go with a beachfront venue, I have to say, the customer service I received at Galleria so far was great, specifically from Albert. I visited the venue, it was pretty. The ballroom and foyer are gorgeous and you have to visit this venue in order to appreciate it. Albert was extremely help and patient with me and the pricing was definitely reasonable and affordable. If I will have another event or party, Galleria definitely will be on my list.

I had my wedding here in May 2014 and it was an amazing experience! Albert was a great coordinator and everything turned out flawless. We were even able to put on a slideshow with no technical problems. The FOOD is what is the best about Anoush banquet halls. The BBQ is SOO GOOD and the service is excellent. All my guests (who were Armenian AND Chinese) loved the food and had a wonderful time! If I have a future large event I will consider Anoush again!

I wasn't overly stuffed as the food was paced nicely. There were lots of leftovers and I wonder what happens to them. I'm craving the food as I type. We had a surprise party for my mother's 60th birthday at this location recently and I can't say enough great things about it. All of the staff we dealt with were extremely friendly and very concerned about making it a wonderful experience. As other people have mentioned, there was TONS of food that was deelish!! Our two servers were delightful young men who were very friendly, personable, attentive, and moved so quickly that it seemed like there were many more servers. The cost was so reasonable and I am thrilled with the result. I would definitely recommend Anoush to anyone planning a special event!!

I had my grandmother's 80th birthday luncheon there about two weeks ago and Anoush was the perfect spot for us. Let me start by saying that my family is not of Armenian descent so the whole concept is somewhat new to them. I myself have attended several events at different Armenian Halls so I knew what to expect when I booked our grandmother's party there so I had somewhat high expectations, needless to say Anoush was great! First of all, the décor and presentation of the hall itself allows for minimal decorations and flowers on your part and the hall will still look beautiful. Everyone in their staff was super friendly, from the event coordinator to the wait staff. There was more than plenty of delicious food served, definitely nobody went home hungry. We even got to take the left overs home for more feasting the next day! I did not give them 5 stars because the day of the party, we were told they would open at a specific time and when I showed up to set up the flowers and decorations the place was shut down completely. I was about to have a breakdown since I wanted everything to be perfect for my grandma and in my head I feared they had forgotten about my party. I made a phone call and sent an email and someone answered right away and quickly took care of the issue. Their fast response put me at ease and we were able to complete the set up before the guests arrived. Anoush definitely gives you a lot of bang for your buck. For what you pay, you get lots of food and good service. Thank you all at Anoush, you helped us celebrate my dear grandmother with the beautiful party that she deserved!

Had a graduation party here and they were great! The food was delicious, and there was so much - food was constantly coming out from the kitchen, and we were able to take a lot of leftovers back home. Since most people at the party were not familiar with the food, we asked the servers many questions and they were always informative and very, very friendly. Some of the best service we have encountered. Beautiful setting, fun ambiance, amazing service, wonderful food - we would love to celebrate here again!

I just had my wedding at Anoush and these guys are fantastic. Speak with Albert the manager, very easy going and flexible, one less thing to have to stress about. The hall is small but very nice, has a Victorian feel to it. If you like Mediterranean food and are willing to be a little adventurous it's quite good and the staff are very attentive. Minor nitpicky things to fix but a great venue overall!

This place was a huge disappointment. I love Armenian food so was looking forward to trying this place, Went here for a banquet. You are served a ton of food starting with a table full of appetizers upon arrival. Then platters of meat come for dinner. Food was decent, decor was okay, but the service was TERRIBLE. Our waitress did not smile all night and she was very pushy and rude. She wanted to change out our dishes for fresh dishes all the time, even after we told her we were done eating. At that point, don't you just clear the table? Don't give me more plates! Whatever, that didn't bother me too much until the napkin ordeal. After dinner our waitress collected all the linen napkins but dessert had not even been served yet! So when fruit and cake came no one had any napkins. Okay, I understand if you want to collect the linens to send it out for laundry service, but at least give your guests a replacement. Someone at our table had to go to the kitchen and ask for paper napkins. That's kinda ghetto considering this is supposed to be a formal dinner. A friend came over to our table to say hello. Waitress came and wanted him to move. She may have said, "excuse me," but our friend could not hear because the music was loud. Rather than gently tap his shoulder, our waitress jabbed him in the back/ribs with two fingers and scared the sh*t out of him. I have to admit it was kinda funny but totally uncalled for. We tried to laugh off many of the annoying things this waitress was doing all night, but I don't know if you would want to book an event here and have your guests treated like this. The restrooms were clean but a little outdated. The toilets didn't work very well. At the end of the night two of the three stopped flushing. The valet guys were not very friendly either. If you can, go a little early and park off site. There is lots of parking on the street. I've done my share of waiting tables and working catering events. I know it is hard work, but you are working so that people can enjoy and celebrate a milestone in their lives. At least pretend like you want to be there.

I had my wedding at the Galleria Ballroom on August 30th, 2013. When I first walked in the ballroom the set-up was breath-taking. I knew right away that I wanted my wedding there. We met with Albert OMG the nicest person that I have dealt with, so friendly and helpful, he was always there to assist me with any questions that I had, I liked how he suggested things to give me a better idea. When I was doing my final touches for the wedding Albert was oh his own honeymoon that's when I met Sako the owner of the hall......He is just a pleasure to work with, such a humble guy. The service was awesome BOTH before the wedding and at the wedding. The servers were amazing. Making sure that my husband and I were happy and comfortable, making sure that we had enough food on our plates and tables. They had my left overs ready and packed to go home with us. My overall experiance was just great with Albert, Sako and the whole staff at Anush. My husband already mentioned that we are going back to that hall for all our other events. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

We just had our wedding there on September 1st. From the time we first met with the event coordinator, Albert, and the co-owner, Saco, we were treated like family. These guys are total pros and really set the bar high. They offer five star service for cheap. They were extremely accommodating to our wants and needs and really strived to help make our day special. All of our friends and family complimented us on the fantastic food and were in awe on how much food was served. The service at our event was superb, from the host, David, who oversaw the actual event to the head server all the way down to the waiter & waitresses. They all made sure that any and every concern we had was dealt with promptly. The level of service made us feel as if we were royalty and they were honored to serve us, which is always a plus. When you have service this great you don't mind spending a couple extra bucks. We have no regrets and will be back in 13 years for our daughter's quinceanera!

Had the most awesome experience from this venue. First of all I must commend the manager Albert, he is the most professional person I have met in the service industry. From our first meeting I knew that our search for a Wedding venue was complete. Albert was on top of everything, he responded in a timely manner to every email and returned every phone call. We loved his courtesy and friendliness. The banquet hall was clean and well lit, the decor impeccable. The cost for each guest to have numerous delicious appetizers and entrees was extremely affordable. Our side of the family, of the Bride, are from the Caribbean, so when our out of town guests came, most of them, never had Mediterranean dishes, but they all loved it. They are still talking about how much they had to eat and how tasty it all was. The floor manager and servers were efficient and friendly. At no extra cost the cake was cut up and served and all the extra food was neatly wrapped and sent home with us. There was so much food to take home, that we had to give some away to family and friends. Everyone was so happy, and we will definitely use this venue again for more fun celebrations. Thanks again to Albert and staff for a job excellently done.

Was invited to a friends Birthday here formal event, from the outside the place does not look as impressive as the inside. It's a complete luxurious palace! At the end of the night it didn't seem the food stop coming, there was not enough table for all that delicious food! Chicken, Salmon, Pork Chops, Kabobs, it was Heaven! ha! and it all tasted amazing! Leaves every local small kabob place in the dust! Friendly staff, kept the food and drinks coming! and brought you anything you wanted, Roman and potato salads, everything seem to be endless! Classy dance hall with a variety of music. For a non-armenian to end up at a place like that, it was fun! really enjoyed it! Big Time!

My association recently held a two-day seminar here, and it was such a great & accommodating venue for us. Parking was free - I'm not sure how we worked that out with pricing, but again, it was during the day for a seminar, so I'm sure there was plenty of parking available. Food was awesome - not that I'm obviously some expert on Armenian food, but I've eaten enough to know that this was delicious. A lot of wary souls (we were 90% asian) were a little worried that they would go hungry, but the smell permeated the ballroom and left them going back for seconds & thirds. Chicken & beef were both very well cooked, still juicy & not dry at all. For some reason though (and a surprise for the carnivore I am), I really liked the chicken better. Service - it's not like we had table service per se, since we were technically having a seminar, but the guy on day 1 was awesome! We were hoping to tip him on day 2, but instead it was another guy, who unfortunately, is the reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars. Day 1 guy: super awesome, friendly, really hard-working and talked people up. Day 2 guy: clearly only served the only Armenian lady in our group (as in, delivered her Armenian coffee, refilled her drinks for her personally, etc.) and that really just irked me. I mean, we all paid the same amount of money, and I know maybe its a "kababayan" thing, but it really put me off. Overall though, the entire staff, include valet, were super nice and really great. Price was incredible. I'm really surprised that it was that cheap. Personally, we've never done [Armenian] halls before, so it was a pleasant relief on our budget for there to be so much offered into such a small price. We'd definitely come back for follow-up seminars! Overall, definitely give this a shot. Personally the decor isn't my type, but for plenty of people it'd work. And even for other functions, it still was very accommodating and very practical. With really cheap pricing on top of that, you should definitely consider this for your next event/function.

This is the worst company! The things that went wrong: 1) The staff brought me to the wrong banquet hall - which was quickly explained by rude lady, that the company is going through a transition and things got confused. I can accept that. 2) When I got to he location this guy took me upstairs to 3 different offices, before letting me sit down in the last one 3) The lady who was suppose to be answering my questions, kept picking up her phone, "sorry this is my daughter", "sorry this is my doctor", if anyone else would have called, I would have about lost it, since I drove from SAN DIEGO, to meet with them. 4) The lady was so lazy, she send someone else to another room, to see what dates were available, who got the months wrong, to only go back and get the correct months. It seems like this place is hard of hearing 5) They just wanted to get rid of me, so they gave me a booklet of their banquet halls and hurried me on my way after 15 minutes. What a waste of time, I could have done this on-line for less. 6) Yelling at your staff in Parsi is not a good way to win over someone trying to get questions answered 7) Their customer service manager stated he would call me if I gav ehim a good time, and then never called me. To then only call me later after I followed up with again about the rude customer service. He went on and on how my first review attacked one of his employees and he will have it removed. Maybe that's why this company has high rating, anyone that give them a bad rating gets the boot. The things that went right: 1) I will not be using this place for me wedding 2) Spreading the word on this place.

Went here for a friends wedding. Awesome food and service. Very clean place and the best lighting I have ever seen for a big banquet style place like this. Valet is kinda pricey, considering the parking lot is two steps away from the door...it should really be complimentary. Either way, great fun place to party.

I've been here twice, once for a wedding, once for a birthday shindig. Both times, it has been awesome. Tons of booze that I'm not paying for, ENDLESS food (it keeps coming, so don't fill up early like I did the first time), dancing if that's your thing, and tons of space. Minus one star because of the broken sconces, but this really is THE place to be formal in Glendale--if you're not paying for it, that is.

I was going to give this 3 stars because it's A-OK and how excited can one get about a banquet hall anyway? But, I'm eating my leftovers right now and the food is very good, so that deserves an additional star. Our group was in the Colorado Street Ballroom which has Rococo decor. Several in our party commented that the entryway reminded them of the first room in Disney's Haunted House. We all squeezed in and waited for the lights to go out and the ceiling to stretch, but no such luck. Anyway, the food and wait service were both excellent. The portions were huge and nearly every guest at my table opted for a to-go container and there was still food left behind. I especially enjoyed the French wine, too bad that wasn't for take home. They have complimentary valet service too. I'd definitely consider holding an event at this location.

Endless vodka, questionable meat, raucous dancing...quite the Armenian experience! I came here for an Armenian friend's graduation party and was given an authentic dinner and show. The decor is fancy and the table dressings are elaborate. Unknowing how many courses would follow, a fellow outsider and myself chowed down on hummus, baba ganoush, lambchops, and other delectable appetizers. Big mistake as we would soon find - the food kept coming and each was bigger and better tasting than the last. While I wasn't paying, I can assume the whole thing was pretty pricey. Also, Armenians don't take their hard liquor lightly... I was forced to hide my shot glass or else face immediate incapacitation. I can't imagine why any non-Armenian would end up here, but if you do, relish it.

I was looking for a wedding venue for over a year and my focus was food, beverages and service. After visiting numerous places I decided to find something on Yelp and fortunately I found Anoush. Results: I had my wedding here about a month ago. I was pleased with how everything turned out and it was delight to have Artin and Saco help me along the way. My guests are still commenting on how great the service, food, and drinks were at Anoush. I had the smaller venue and the outside of the place is not the most appealing as it faces the parking lot of the Glendale Galleria and a mechanic shop, but if you are looking for the essentials (service, food & beverage) this is definitely the place to go; not to mention that the interior of this ballroom makes up for the outside. If I could do it all over again I would definitely go with Anoush but I would save a little more money and get the bigger ballrooms that are located in a better area. In the end all I could I say is that the I'm very happy with the results.

Out of all the Armenian banquet halls I've been to in my lifetime (current tally: 2), this one deserves a decent score. Bare bones: - Valet is $6. You can prob find parking around the block, though. - The interior design is very decadent. Makes you feel classy as fuck. Gold plated everything! - The wait-staff is friendly! Food: - Plenty of appetizers, well-plated ones at that. Different meats, dips, romaine salad, potato salads. The only complaint I had was that the bread wasn't warm, but meh, what're you gonna do about it? - Meat? Marinated chicken breasts, massive pork chops, lula kafta, kabobs. I was literally dying. LITERALLY. Everything was soo well seasoned. I don't know how they do it. - Alcohol? The wait-staff was on top of getting us mo' bottles and glasses when we ran out of libations. Props to them. Seriously though, how can Armenian banquet food EVER turn out bad? Each place tops the last one and has me sayin', "OHMAHGAH, this lula kafta is off the hook!"

We had our wedding reception here and it turned out just the way we imagined it. ENDLESS FOOD TRAYS! We knew it be lots of food and the trays kept coming and coming after another. Im not armenian so i had no idea how it would work but figured to give it a try. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. You can tell they've done tons of weddings so they are well organized as far as the food goes. Im craving the food again since i hardly ate at my wedding. The bar was great from what i could see, my guest were happy and a little drunk.

We had our wedding reception here. This is the smaller of their banquet halls. We had roughly 200 guests and this was just about right. The decor is nice (not to over the top, like other banquet halls) and with a proper florist it can look wonderful. The service was top notch. I have been to many Armenian weddings, and Anoush always has the best food . I was married almost 3 years ago, so pricing I'm sure has changed, but we got a killer deal. You get your standard Mezzas and salads. There is different packages. We basically got (all I can think of is a Shit Load!) of food. All of it tasty. 3 types of meat (Beef, Chicken, Lamb) with pilaf. Fresh fruits, the works. Also for just a few bucks more its unlimited Vodka, Whiskey and Wine. We hired our own DJ so not sure if he supplied his sound or plugged in with the houses. More likely it was his sound. Nice big dance floor that got proper use from us. We were very pleased with the outcome and I recommend it to anyone looking to get married.

This was a great location for my 32nd birthday. I was looking for a private room for 25 ladies to celebrate my birthday and this place was perfect it was one of the very few halls that offered a private room for 50 or less people. All I did was meet with Albert tell him how many people the date and time and I did not do any work the food the pictures, The table settings, everything was just perfect and I did not worry about a thing. I am so impressed with how clean organized and professional everything went the evening of my birthday I am still getting calls three weeks later from friends saying thank you for such a fabulous night I recommend this place for any kind of private room function for 50 or less people . It was one of the easiest parties I have ever thrown. They let me bring my own cake at no charge and my own champagne bottles at no charge, everywhere else wanted to charge me for that. I highly recommend this place

I will start my review by saying that Albert is the best! L.A. Banquets is very lucky to have someone like Albert in their staff. He is just a nice, accommodating, and professional person. He's a joy to work with. You would think that your event is the only thing on his agenda. He promptly answered all my e-mails. The first time we met, he presented all the choices we had and there was absolutely no pressure to book. He made this part of wedding planning easy and unstressful. I first started doing research for venues about two weeks after getting engaged. We knew we wanted to get married soon after. I requested a lot of quotes from several places (30+) from La Jolla to Santa Barbara. In the end, I narrowed it down to two places. We met with Albert first and wanted to book right there and then. However, I still wanted to give the other place a chance. Immediately after we got to the second place (in Marina del Rey), we knew we should've booked Galleria Ballroom with Albert. The wedding was everything we wanted. From the ceremony to the food to the alcohol. At Anoush, you'll definitely get bang for your buck. The food is served family style. The price per person includes 22 appetizers, 3 main entrées, fresh fruit, soft drinks, coffee, and tea (and the venue, of course). For a small added fee, you can add open bar for five hours! Our guests were extremely happy with the food and the ambiance. The wait staff is very professional and our guests were extremely happy with the experience, especially the food. I've been to weddings where I leave hungry. It won't happen to your guests if you book Anoush. My wedding was small. We had 96 guests and the place looked good and full, in case you're afraid it'll look empty if you have a small wedding. There's enough space for dancing and walking around to mingle with other guests. The venue provides the sweetheart table, the cake table, gift table, etc. The lobby is also very nice and elegant. The table settings are also very elegant. Overall the tables looked beautiful. We were allowed to bring our own Photobooth, but we added to our package the chocolate fountain, which comes with marshmallows and strawberries. Our guests loved it! I added a few more things to the table and it became a dessert table. Prices are given to you from the beginning. Albert explained everything very well; there are absolutely no hidden fees. They have a lot of additional items you can add, such as candy station, cotton candy, snow cones, sushi station, etc. If you're still looking for a venue, I highly recommend you book an appointment with Albert at Galleria Ballroom. You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain.

My little sister decided at the last minute she wanted to have a sweet 16 party so there we go like chickens without heads looking for venues to have it at. We went to Royal palace and i mean the venue was gorgeous but the manager had such horrible customer service and was very unfriendly right off the bat, he provided such horrible customer service that his own bartender was embarrassed by him. Anyways, the next day we went to the L.A banquet venue and Albert the manager was so welcoming and made my mom and i feel very comfortable and less stressed out. He was beyond helpful and very accommodating. The catering staff was very attentive and our guest were so pleased and happy with everything. Technically this is a review for the smaller, Galleria Lounge, in the same building as the Galleria Ballroom (which is beautiful). The Lounge is for smaller events and comfortably holds about 50-60 people. We booked the Lounge for my father's 90th birthday celebration (on Fatner's Day) with about 35 friends and family. The room itself is nice, but definitely not "grand" like the ballroom. Albert was a dream to work with. I have to say the food was abundant and very, very good "Mediterranean/Armenian/Lebanese" influenced. (Add the sturgeon...it is delicious) Guests could not believe how much food there was and how delicious everything tasted. Wait-staff worked hard to please and very nice. I would definitely recommend this place and specifically the Anoush catering team for turning out some great food. The venue and catering was very good value per person.

The Galleria Ballroom doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is beautiful, the staff is amazing, and the food is fantastic! Based on what other yelp reviewers said, we decided to check it out and see if it really was "as good as it gets!" From A-Z, Anoush was absolutely amazing. The venue manager, Albert, was very easy to work with and overall flexible and accommodating to help us with all our reception needs. Let me put this to perspective as well. If you're looking for quality food and all inclusive prices, stop your wedding reception search here. Here's the breakdown: Food: #1 - Completely affordable - forget having a beachfront view with soup/salad, fish/steak and dessert. You are getting 26 appetizers, 3-4 entrees, and coffee, tea, fruits etc for the same price as the typical wedding reception food. My husband and I used to cater at fine dining venues and worked many many many weddings and by far, we felt that the typical 3 course meal at a wedding was overrated. My co-workers, friends and family raved about the food for weeks. The quality and amount of food provided at the reception completely exceeded our expectations. Location: #2 The place is near the Glendale Galleria and honestly, the exterior is OK and parking has to be valet or street. BUT, when you walk inside, the outside makes up for the victorian feel inside the venue. We saved on spending on a lot decorations since the venue was already as beautiful as it gets. :) Definitely worth checking out. Service: The waitstaff at the reception were professional and attentive. No complaints here. Overall, if I was to have another event, I would definitely check out Anoush again.

Review for 4/25/15: My wife had her mother's 70th birthday party here and we only have good things to say about our experience. Albert, the manager, was very polite and accommodating and made certain that all of our requests were met and questions answered. The venue was spacious (I believe the ballroom can hold around 200 comfortably) and classy. The food was particularly remarkable; all of the courses were quite delicious and the amount of food bordered on the ridiculous (I challenge you to attempt to try every dish!). Service was solid and the event was unquestionably, a success. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and I am sure we will choose them again for our next large event.

My wife and I had our reception here in October and it was amazing! From the beginning Albert was a wonder to work with, easily accessible through phone and email. Once you meet with Albert you will agree that this ballroom is perfect for your event. The Anoush/la banquets website was really helpful, and after filling out their questionnaire, we got a quick response with information from all of their venues which included the minimum and maximum guest size for each venue and pricing per person for an event on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Anoush has many wonderful venues, but the galleria ballroom was perfect for our guest list of 160. You get the venue from 5 PM- 2AM (google some elegant venues, i bet you only get them for 5 hours, usually from 5 PM-10PM)The ballroom can accommodate 150-200 guests comfortably with tables that fit 12 people, but they also have 3 tables that fit 13-16 people(square tables). Not only are you getting the venue with the tables (gold or ivory linens), but you are also getting Chiavari chairs for each guest (These chairs are at least $5 each to rent !!!). Hold on though, I'm not done yet...Yes the venue is absolutely wonderful, but you also get food when you book their venues. And by food i mean a banquet served family style at each table 22 appetizers (not to choose from, 22 for you all your guests to enjoy!!!)ranging from hummus to cold cuts to chips and salsa and ceviche! Then you get 3 main entrees, 1 coming out after the other for all your guests to enjoy. All served elegantly at each table. Then the food that was not served is packaged for you to take home!!! Think of this place as a one stop shop for all your needs...we added a photo booth through them as well as the uplighting and alcohol for all the guests for 5 hours (for the price you will pay for one hour at any other venue). They have everything! There are no hidden fees, everything is factored in as a per person charge so it is easy for you to follow. honestly, the prices are so affordable. They do not charge you for bringing your own alcohol! They do not charge you for cutting your cake! It felt like i was shopping at bloomingdales with walmart prices. You get a beautiful venue, wonderful food, incredible memories, and your guests will not stop talking about your event, guaranteed! I am extremely happy i yelped this place and once I met Albert he made our wedding incredible.

When we were initially searching for a venue for our reception, a lot of the people I spoke to at other banquet halls were very rude and unapproachable. One of the biggest reasons we decided to go with this venue over others was because of how approachable & friendly Albert was from the very first time we contacted him. He was extremely helpful throughout the entire process & we never had any issues. The size of the venue was perfect for the amount of guests we had (about 200). We actually booked the lounge as well where we had an open bar & photo booth there for our guests to enjoy. I'm so glad we held our reception at Galleria Ballroom & highly recommend it!

I had my debut here last march and... well, I have mixed feelings about my experience. First let me say that the planning process was great. Albert was really nice and EXTREMELY accommodating. I thought planning would be a kind of nightmare but he really made it simple and painless. I was set to have the perfect night. The food was also top notch. Every single entree was mouthwatering and there was plenty of it. Really, for catered food, this is as good as it gets. So why two stars? Why not four? Or five, even? Because during the speech portion of the night, during which almost the entire room was basically silent, two of the servers decided to stand relatively close to the stage area and carry on the loudest conversation. Not only was this extremely irritating, but I felt it was rude and disrespectful. Why couldn't they talk in the kitchen? Why did they have to talk so loudly? In fact, it saddens me because I know I was distracted and I missed a good portion of someones speech. I feel this very detail is severe enough to knock out three stars because what's the point of planning the perfect evening if two people are going to have the most rambunctious conversation throughout the MOST meaningful part of it? I found it to be BLATANTLY disrespectful. Even when my friend stood to ask them to lower their voices, they were silent for two minutes and then they continued on. I wanted to write a good review simply because Albert tried his very best to help me plan the perfect evening. But I had to be honest here, folks.

PLEASE READ! If you're having doubts about this place, you're wasting your time. Book this venue..it is worth it. Let me explain our experience with Albert and this venue.. Albert, our even coordinator was ABSOLUTELY amazing!! Very professional, and very detail-oriented. Being in customer service my entire life, I was expecting to be disappointed. This guy went above and beyond MY expectations. He gave my wife and I the most beautiful, classy, yet affordable wedding we could ask for. He even did our table arrangements since we were going to be so busy the day of the wedding. His customers service is top-notch...honestly. I wasn't expecting this from an Armenian guy, but he really impressed me. I couldn't ask for someone better than him. He made the whole experience so much better. Now, here is the funny part. Everything we didn't want to do, we did....and we did it hard! We did the whole Armenian-traditional wedding. We danced all night, drank, ate like crazy! One of the waitresses told us that they had never seen such a warm, fun wedding. No joke, EVERYONE had a good time. Every single person in that room told us that they had a blast that night. They kept bragging about the food and the beautiful interior of the venue. At first I was skeptical about the gaudy look, but boy-o-boy was I wrong. The venue brought out our pictures to be the gems they are. If it wasn't for the beautiful interior, our pictures would not be what they are today. Our friends had the most fun out of all of us that entire night. Our wedding pictures are all Asians and White people dancing to Armenian music. It's hilarious! It was just the coolest thing to see everyone having fun with Armenian music. (We hired an Armenian Dj, fyi) The venue, the food, the service from the staff that night was unforgettable. Everyone was talking about the amount of food there was at everyone's tables. I think we had 22 appetizers, 3 main courses, a few of this an that, unlimited alcohol....it was crazy. My professors from school told me that this was all new for them. They gained a few pounds after the wedding, that's for sure. ;) I can go on and on about this place, but you have to believe me....this is a venue that will REALLY make everyone happy. Coming from someone who was trying to avoid a venue like this, trust me....it is worth it. It's a guaranteed good time. Every guest left with a huge smile on their face, and it is all because of the hard working Armenian men and women who were behind the scenes preparing the food, taking care of the valet, being attentive and sensitive to people at the event.... I rate the food a 10 out of 10! The service is hands down 10 out of 10! Albert, the event coordinator, was an 11 out of 10!

My family and I have had a few events at there Brandview location among there Glenoaks location and LA Banquets never disappoints. On to the review, We celebrated my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary at the Galleria and Albert was just Fantastic and so easy to work with. From day 1 to the day of the event Albert went on and beyond to make our experience stress free and magical. We had a few glitches and Albert stepped in and made us feel at ease with his expertise and helped us turn our event into an unforgettable event for not only us but all our guest! I had my daughter's 1st birthday party here yesterday. The day was amazing thanks to Albert and the entire staff at Anoush (Galleria Ballroom) Glendale. My guests raved about the amount and quality of the delicious food! My guests were able to ask for more of whatever they wanted. It was truly a feast! It was very important to me that my guests were well fed at the party. So when everyone told me they had no room for dessert, I knew that the Anoush catering staff met and exceeded my expectations. The ballroom is so beautiful that I didn't have to decorate for the princess themed party. Albert was even kind enough to accommodate my request of putting my daughter's name under a crown for the gobo light on the wall. My guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. We had 160+ guests and there was enough room for me to have a 14x14ft. flip book station, 12 foot candy buffet table, & caricature station. The ballroom is very beautiful & spacious! If you are thinking about throwing a party there is no need to look anywhere else. This is the venue to book! Albert (manager) is the most accommodating, helpful, and professional person to work with. Whenever I had a question he was always there to provide me an answer or quick to get back to me. He is an absolute pleasure to work with & makes the whole planning experience smoother. I've worked with MANY catering managers and I must say Albert is #1. The experience was so great I am sure I will be booking future parties here!

My parents decided to plan an engagement party for my fiancé and I (last minute) and Albert came to our rescue being that we were running around a month before trying to find a location. He took us in with open arms and made sure everything from the table covers to the cake table was to my taste; the food also, was amazing, finger licking good! The place also looked more elegant from when I had been there last being that they had remodeled it; my entire family thought it was a wedding than an engagement without going over budget. I will definitely be here again for my future parties, 200% satisfied!!

I had my wedding here on April 28th 2013. Where do I begin? Anoush is such a great place to have a wedding! It's extremely affordable and yet they still provide five star service. Not to mention that the food is actually REALLY, REALLY good. My friends and family are still talking about how great the food was and how MUCH food there was. We only had one tiny hiccup and that was they spelled my name incorrectly on the monogram that was supposed to shine on the wall behind our wedding cake, but it really wasn't that big of a deal to me so I just asked them to turn the monogram off. Besides that, everything was fabulous. Albert was a pleasure to work with :)

My fiance and I had our engagement celebration here - must say, it was a magical evening! I am Armenian and he is French, so between the designs inside the ballroom to the food - it was a match made in heaven! First off, Albert is the one to thank for his flexibility, assistance, and making it happen. Really professional staff and the food was perfect! Lots of space and the atmosphere inside was welcoming and warm. You can't go wrong to book your next event here =)

We hosted our wedding there on 5/29/15. The service starting from valet to the manager Albert was superb. Albert took his time to find out our budget and intentions and turned it to the best day of our life. Albert is such a nice person! Very friendly, courteous, caring, always smiles and makes you feel very welcomed. The food was yummy Very big variety of appetizers and dishes. Our guests were more then pleased and still talking how much fun they had at our wedding(thanks to unlimited liquor )!The interior is in rococo style, so it feels like you are in a real ballroom. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. The staff were very helpful and friendly! Location is very convenient in the middle of Glendale and has big parking lot to fit all the guests cars and the limo. Overall we are very happy with Albert and the Anoush banquet hall ! We will recommend them to everyone we know. Looking forward to have another event at Galleria ballroom. Thank you guys!

My sister and I hosted our parent's 25th Anniversary here a couple of weeks ago. My parents were so amazed on how the venue looked. You really do not need to add much more, the place is beautiful on it's own. The food can be a hit or miss, but they went above and beyond with the selection of appetizers as well as the 3 course meal. We had no problem whatsoever with the food and everyone enjoyed it. Lastly, Albert was truly amazing. They are very lucky to have him as he would always answer my calls, and if he was busy, he would return my call at his earliest convenience. He is really a nice guy and could not have asked for a more pleasant person to work with. Thank you to everyone at Anoush who made my parent's anniversary party a success.
