Had my usual, chicken and shrimp fajitas, chimichuri sauce and all the fixings, combo appetizer and some strawberry lemonade. It's a chain restaurant, so looks about like all chili's do, some conversation pieces in the wall, wife variety of food to cater to all tastes. Good was good, as always. Chicken and shrimp must be getting expensive, because they are half the size they used to be, meaning half as much too. Same price, so just a no,or quibble here. Dominating the table are their new checkout machines, which not only take payments, but can do ordering, fill out questionaires, print a receipt. So, a dream for corporate types. Like the checkout line at Wal-Mart, increasingly marginalizing service for automation. Philosophy question: who is going to be able to buy the already too expensive food when there are no one with jobs, because these clever machines made them largely irrelevant? Nice convenience, but remember, you are in the PEOPLE business, not the "slingng food" business. These machines are convenient, but at what cost... Let the servers earn their money.

I'm bias because I love all Chili's. We had good service and their menu is amazing...at all of them!! :D This Chili's in particular is great because it's near the Theatre and Seems to Always have an open table for me in the bar are...so No Waiting!! :D Never had bad service here, but also never had something happen above any other Chili's! Great all around! :D

I only go here to see Tiffany because she's amazing! I love the fajitas and margaritas! :) my favorite is the platinum! This location is clean and convenient for me. I also love the citrus balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Can't find it anywhere else.

I had only 35 minutes before my meeting to get a quick bite. I told my waitress that my colleague and I were in a hurry and she suggested ordering sandwiches. I ordered the turkey, avocado and bacon sandwich and it was delicious. My order came out fast and hot. We made our meeting on time. Great service and great food!

Called in my order. Drove there within 10 minutes and my order was ready to go. We were quite surprised on how good the take out was and the portions were very sizable. Would definitely phone in my order again.

This place is great for happy hour Monday through Thursday. Good quality food for the price. Service is slow majority of the time when restaurant is dead. Location is right off of Highway 50 and next to the movie theater which is convenient when waiting for a movie to start or getting off the freeway after a long days work. They make really good drinks just a little overpriced for my liking.

Service was slow. The bathrooms were so foul! Both men's and women's smelt like something died in it 2weeks ago!

The place is okay--- The only problem with place is the service. The service is not rude just kind of lackadaisical. I usually sit at the bar, which does not seem to speed up getting a drink order in. I have had to follow up on the location of my beer on more than one occasion. I put in simple drink and food orders, plus I go at the off times to avoid the larger rushes, so it is strange they take so long and orders get lost. The food is good. Standard chain restaurant type food. The Queso skillet is really good as it is at all Chili's.

DISAPPOINTED Stopped in on Sunday after a day shopping at the outlets. Seated quickly but the table was sticky and there was food on the floor in the bar area near us and around our booth. The iced tea I had tasted like it was made with unfiltered tap water. Yuck. Switched to Dr Pepper. The steak and avocado wasn't bad. My wife's shrimp fajitas were ok...except for the cheese in the side. It was hard...like it wasn't fresh. Sticky tables. Food on the floor. Food that isn't fresh. Unfiltered tap water. Service that was kinda slow. You do the math.

Pay at tables? Click to order drinks? Already no food is prepared here, now they're taking servers jobs away! I see complaints of skeleton crews! DO NOT EAT HERE AND SUPPORT THIS COMPANIES CUTTING OF SERVICE JOBS!!!!!!! We left and had a freshly cooked burger and helped by people next door!

This is a review of customers..the restaurant is fine...at approx. 2:00 July 3rd.at this place , we sat down across from a party of ,I think, 12 ladies.. they were loud and having lots of fun...they were probably in their late 20s or 30s....they were dressed very nice(business lunch?)...well anyway..after they left...they had laid $$ on the table....the bill was over $400....but they shorted the restaurant....which means they did not pay enough or leave a tip. I hope one of them reads this and feels shame

The food was OK at best, appetizer and drinks are 5 stars, but the food is bare able to say the least choose a different location, same menu but better turn out ...

  • Michelle H.

Location is great, prices are good, food is good, service is consistently horrible. I am not a fan of them having more than one server responsible for each table. Twice now they completely forgot to bring the appetizer. Yesterday we were seated for 15+ minutes before drinks were served (although they did offer us someone else's drink order). In my opinion, they should have spent money on customer service training instead of the computers they have on each table to play games and reorder drinks. This location has serious room for improvement. I won't be back.

Had a Date Night with my love and we decided to skip our Applebee's trip and head to Chilis... Great idea!!! We got a table in the bar like we always do, the waitress was amazing!!!!! The fact that they have 2 for $35 was awesome. You get margaritas, app, dinner and dessert. I got the cajan chicken pasta... Holy hell it... Was.... The best thing ever. Blew my mind and im picky. The right amount for everything!. Got the guac and chips and wow! Guac is better than chipotles just about. He got the ribs which was a small portion but the potato wedges were bomb. It was just a good experience and I'll TOTALY go to the Folsom location again and order the same.... I wish I could remember the waitresses name because I want her to get some credit. She's 6'2, brunette, was on Sat. so ya. Yay lol

I took my nephew here and he got food poisoning from their pizza. Poor kiddo was sick to his stomach. :/ Not to mention their customer service was the shittiest I've ever seen from a chili's. Slow waiting time, cold food, took forever to get a check, and never checked up on us. Definitely won't be going back there.

My family and I had a day out shopping at the outlets. We are from the Walnut Creek area where businesses know what they're doing. This was our first time visiting this Chili's location and it will be our last. If you care about hygiene and proper business behavior I would not suggest stepping foot in this restaurant. A recap of what occurred: My husband and I took a seat at the bar upon our arrival. We ordered 2 watermelon margaritas. I could see the female bartender and female server in clear view. As the bartender was making our drinks I noticed that the server who was standing with her grabbed a straw and drank out of the concoction they were preparing for us. I walked over to her and inquired if in fact that was our order. She responded in a guilty manner, "NO". As she walked away to pour the drinks out I took a look over the counter to see if there was another glass that she perhaps drank from. There was not, I know what I saw. It is disgusting, my question is: why are the employees of Chili's Grill and Bar in Folsom drinking on the job? Why are they contaminating our orders? Perhaps they need a visit from our food inspectors. After my review I will be sure to call, email, and leave messages alerting them to the crazy behavior and methods of this restaurant. I thought the management would be happy to know where they're falling short. However, when speaking with the male managing the restaurant he did not seem to care. We visited this disgusting place around 5pm. Unfortunately we were hungry, so we stayed. Hopefully we do not get sick from the food we ate AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!!

We have eaten here quite a bit in huge past few months; we haven't had a disappointing experience yet! Their staff has always been friendly and helpful. The food is always good, and they are wonderful about removing things one doesn't like - or is allergic to! Friendly, good service and good food and excellent recommendations (when I can't decide on which item!). Very happy with Chilis Folsom! Their take out service has always been above par as well!

This place sucks! Food sucks staff is nice but " I feel they are the ones out to lunch!" I have never been here and will never be back! food took 40 min to get. I ordered a Sam Adams only to find out it was the seasonal. They comped the beer but the customer behind me had the same problem. They should let people know when offering that it's a seasonal Sam adams! I'm writing this while waiting to get my card back after paying! Go to Burger King instead. You have to pass it to get here anyways. And to top it off I have never yelped anything ever! This is my first time if that says anything at all?!

Food was good when it came ... We waited 40 min for it . Asked for water when seated ,asked again when our meal was brought finally got it about 40 min all together . Waiter was nice but never came back to refill coffee . It wasn't that busy so not sure why the delay on food and drinks. I usually love Chlli's but I won't be back to this one :( our waiter wasn't even the one to bring out our food.. He never came back except when I asked for the bill and a to go box ..

Our party of 7 came here after the movies on a Saturday night. They were busy but we were's seated right away. Our server was Vincent and he was awesome. Very attentive, great personality came and brought us refills extra napkins before we even had a chance to ask for them. He arranged our checks at the time of the order splitting it three ways without any problem. Our food came out fast, it was great. I had a new addition there, the California avocado flatbread. It was great!

  • Jenelle J.

First off, let me say that they seated us right away in a table as requested. Then the waiter (Sorry I forgot his name) was AWESOME. Seriously, one of the best servers I have had in a long time. Kind, attentive, fast, responsive, and even put up with the family really well. Thank you!! The food was also great. Strawberry margarita, delicious. Spinach artichoke dip, creamy goodness. Chips, crispy and fresh. And the avocado bacon chicken sandwich, pretty darn good. We will be back!

Food was excellent, but service was non existent. It was my B-Day last Friday and 3 of us went here to Celebrate and end with dessert and sing song from staff. We were ignored and had flagged down other staff with menus! And to top it off the girl just throws the tab at my sister with no happy birthday ending! We left 2bucks for a 45.00 tab. Horribleness too SAD :(

    (1)
  • Jasmine S.

Food was good for the price. I was unfamiliar with the ziosk but I thought it was pretty neat. However it can take away from the potential customer service. Making it feel non existent.

Well another experience at this Chili's which makes me so ambivalent. Pro: Free appetizer coupon per email for my birthday. Buffalo wings with the original sauce. Con: Buffalo wings a little soggy. Main course brought out shortly after appetizer. Pro: Happy hour till 7p with $1 off import drafts . Con: Platinum margarita not on happy hour menu. Con: Memphis style ribs with "dry rub" too literal. They were really dry! Pro: Ancho chile BBQ sauce really good!

  • Nina W.

I have to admit whenever anyone suggests Chili's I automatically picture greasy, soggy, lacking flavor food. Today however I was starving and we decided to stop in. First of all they have little computer screens now at your table top to play games, browse the menu, ORDER DRINKS from the bar and PAY YOUR BILL. Thats awesome!! You cannot go wrong. Boyfriend had fajitas they looked so so but the way they plate their food now has really showed an effort. I got a watermelon margarita (yum) and the quesadilla salad. Even more yum! Then we payed via the table top, super easy and receipt printed right out. I can't believe I'm giving Chili's 4 stars! I would come back.

    (4)
  • Damien S.

I used to not really like Chilis. Decided to take my girl there today and we were VERY pleased with the changes. They've got this devise on every table that you can play games on. We're both into techy so we were glued to that thing the entire time. We even paid the tab on it. The food was EXCELLENT. Try the skillet peanut butter cookie.

I love this place. Manager's super nice. My husband's meal came in super late and they covered our whole bill!! It's clean here and people are super sweet. Our waitress was very friendly and super sweet. Looks like she loves working here. Very positive experience. Highly recommend this place.

I've been here quite a few times and always receive excellent service. Tonight, the manager Alex was great at taking care of a small issue at our table which was really nice of him. I'll definitely be back for more happy hours.

We stopped by for dinner about a month ago. Our server was amazing! When we first set down I informed him that we had a type 1 diabetic in our group and we needed an appetizer ASAP! He had the chips and queso out FAST! He was extremely attentive. The food was great. The 4 stars is because of the manager. We asked the server to talk to the manager after our meal. I wanted to tell the manager face to face how great of an employee he has. Apparently he must get a ton of complaints because we watched the server tell him to come over, then he went out of his way to avoid us for over 30 minutes!! We decided to leave after that.

I love it that I can just walk into this place and the staff is always so welcoming. I went here for lunch on my daughter's birthday because she really likes it here. Our waitress "Miranda" was fabulous. Very attentive, pleasant and sweet to the kids. The place was really busy and we were super impressed at how she was so on top of things... refills, food on time, etc. My two boys ordered off the kids menu (pizza and chicken crispers) and they ate it all. My daughter and I ordered the "Triple Dipper". Mine had sliders, potato skins and buffalo wings. The sliders were OK, the potato skins looked reheated and the sauce on the buffalo wings was tangy. I ate it all anyway because it wasn't horrible but it definitely could have been better. My daughter ordered the buffalo wings, chicken crispers and sliders... she ate everything but the buffalo wings as she couldn't handle the tangy sauce. I signed to the waitress to bring something for my daughter's birthday and she came out with a few staff members and a soft serve in a milkshake cup and they all sang. My daughter was super happy. Although the food was a little less than FANTASTIC we will definitely continue to visit because the service has always been great and so has the food we've ordered in the past.

This location struggles at lunch service. Not sure if it is a staff issue or poor management, but the have inexperienced people at the host desk. Some days there is a wait while tables are open because they don't have staff. Other days, they shuffle as many into the bar for lunch. Don't mind the faster service but if you are there with kids it might not be the preferred seating.

    (3)
  • Ryan H.

Chips and queso! Good burgers and cold beer. Service is always decent although sometimes they give you two servers and it seems to mess things up. I would prefer one server that stays on top of things. This location gets busy so expect a wait on the weekends!

    (3)
  • Rick L.

I have eaten here before and it was good. This time not so much! My kids lunch was terrible. We sent it back and asked for something else. They gave us something else and it sucked too!! She didn't eat it either. They discounted the cheaper of the two plates. I am sorry I am in business. When we make a mistake we go above and beyond to make the customer happy. So they will come back. Not impressed! Won't be back to this location.

They dressed up the outside of the building but it's still Chili's. Over priced, processed chain food with mediocre service.

These 5 stars are due to the ridiculously amazing service we had from our waiter. In all of my chubby years going to major chain restaurants, I have never met anyone as service oriented as the gentleman who served us. It was our weekly date night, dinner and a movie thing. Nothing spectacular planned. But, our waiter made what would have been an average, ordinary meal a great experience. Thank you very much, Angelo. You were fantastic.

Me and my fiancé came here for dinner a few months ago. We like to go out and have a nice meal with each other. We ordered our food and talked and drank our waters. I personally always use straws but he didn't. We got our food and it wasn't the best but we ate it anyway. It took a while to get refills and get our check. Finally the guy came and gave us the bill and I gave him money so he took it to get me some change. As I'm waiting I noticed there was something on my fiancé cup I grabbed it to take a better look and it was lip stick. I went to touch it and it was fresh.... It came right off. This means that they had given us cups that they didn't even wash. I told the waiter and he simply told me that they have had trouble with there dish washer. Even if they did have trouble that would come off with water I was so disgusted that I didn't want anything free he had to offer us I told him we will never come back.

3.5 stars really. Came here with coworkers. I had the chicken pasta which was average and under seasoned. Giving 3.5 stars only because I loved chilis at other locations. Would give it 1 more try provided I am not paying.

We come here every tuesday and try to sit at table 47 just for the server Monique. She has the brightest smile super personality and seems to really enjoy her work. Will keep coming. .. plus she remembers what we want everytime. Try getting that anywhere else.

I use to love this place. It has gone a little downhill. The french fries were lukewarm. Not fresh. The burger has thinner slices of bacon than the thicker slices the use to have on the bigmouth southwestern. The waitress did not smile.

  • Sonya S.

I came yesterday and was helped by two servers, Andrew and Mack. They were super friendly and attentive without hovering. The food itself was pretty good considering it's a chain. I had the lunch menu chicken fajitas with guacamole. The portion was just right and the chicken tender. I wasn't amazed nor was I looking to be amazed- just hungry for a decent meal and I got it. The 5 stars are for Andrew and Mack. They were fantastic servers and totally deserve the kudos.

we came in and it was not very busy, we saw employees everywhere except anywhere near to seat us. several bar personnel looked straight at uswhile they chatted amongst themselves, other staff walked past us and didnt acknowledge us and didnt tell the hostess, wherever she was, that people were waiting. when we were finally seated we were lead to a booth and told we could sit there, while the hostess just stood there blocking the seats. after we were seated, we waited... and waited ....and waited ....and waited ...while tons of employees passed us without acknowledgement. but helped the group next to us. so we left. we never got anything to drink, no water, no appetizers, no service. nothing. and as we left, there was no one to tell us goodbye. it was really weird.

Normally, I like a local place and not a national chain. The reason for that is it's not so "cookie cutter" where everything is the same etc. This Chili's has the feel of a local place and they seem to have the Chili's theme down too. I've been here a couple times now for lunch and both times the food was good, service was excellent and the cost was reasonable. Had the Southwestern Quesadillas with steak on this visit. Nice jalapeno kick!

Extremely slow service. Took 45 minutes to get our lunch from the time we ordered and there was one other couple in the restaurant at the time. This is the second time we have had slow service like this. Will never eat here again. The food is just not worth the wait.

    (1)
  • Veronica C.

It's Chili's.... what can you expect really? Food here is decent, but for whatever reason, the service here felt extremely slow. The restaurant wasn't too crowded yet, but it took a while for our food to come out.

Usually I don't take the time to review chain restaurants because the food and service are usually mediocre. What's the point right? I was just at Chili's for lunch with a group of 33+ people. We received OUTSTANDING service even though our party was so large. My ice tea was brought to me very earlier on and refilled very promptly. Our appetizers were brought out quickly and our food orders were taken very quickly as if we were dining in a small group. Our server (sorry I can't remember her name) was quick with our food and drinks. She was super polite, not to mention really pretty. :) I was pleased to find that Chili's has a guilt-less menu. I got a very tasty grilled tilapia filet served on a cedar plank. Super low carb and low fat! It was served with some kind of salsa, nothing spectacular but really tasty. only ~$11. Comes with wild rice... I felt satisfied, not super hungry, and truly guiltless. Overall I was super pleased with my lunch, unfortunately most of the Chili's menu isn't guilt-less. I am truly not a calorie counter, but I am doing this weight loss bet and I was super happy to find something that taste good, made me feel good after the meal, and reasonably priced (for a work lunch anyway) So ... try the guilt-less menu.

  • Jon L.

Had a lunch here and service was fine for a chain restaurant. The salmon tasted good and the price was reasonable for this style of eating establishment. A step above fast food joints, but not with the price or quality of Scotts.

One of the few chains that we have been able to frequent with the kid's and always receive friendly service, someone opening the door and attentive servers. Our server tonight (Rachelle) was excellent - always about if we needed something without being overbearing. Very happy to substitute items in our meal and even made a special order for our son. Will definitely continue to return in the future.

Been a while since I have been to a Chili's and I like the changes to the menu, especially the lunch special. The food was okay. But I was very disappointed with the length of time between when we placed our order and when we received our food. Not sure what that was all about.

One of the best Chili's I've ever been to. Great service even when busy, meal was excellent. I had the Cedar Plank Tilapia and it was so good I ordered the Chocolate Chip Molten Ice Cream dessert. I highly recommend.

My work was gracious enough to buy lunch for the administrative staff on 11/7/11, which I am part of. I was very appreciative of the gesture. Management decided on Chili's in Folsom since it's close to our place of business. I've never been that impressed with Chili's menu, but that's because I like to be a bit healthier and a bit more adventurous from the run of the mill generic American cuisine choices they offer. So, I suppose I started with a small bias, but this was a complimentary lunch and I set those feelings aside to appreciate being appreciated from my work. I decided on the Steak Sandwich. The description does say this sandwich comes in flat bread, which I normally like; however, I was stuck on the word sandwich and assumed it would be some kind of normal bread, not a pita. This was my own fault. Chili's clearly states this on the menu. I also substituted the French fries for mashed potatoes. One might think a steak "sandwich" with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, melted provolone cheese and a creamy horseradish sauce would be tough to mess up. The chefs at Chili's did a superb job of turning what seemed like a decent "sandwich," into somewhat of a salty, bland mess. My first complaint is that it seems the only seasoning Chili's knows how to utilize is salt. But, we won't stop there, as that was only noticed on the first bite. As I continued, I found a multitude of problems with this "sandwich." And yes, I keep quoting sandwich because this was in a pita wrap, not in bread. I'm really not that picky, but there were some glaring things just wrong with this sandwich. Aside from it being under seasoned and over salted, the steak itself was simply dry and overcooked. I know that not everyone likes their steak still bleeding like I usually do, but I can eat it fully cooked... this was left on the grill way too long. Next, the onions... oh wait, what onions? There was maybe less than ten pieces of grilled onion that were no bigger than a penny. I actually love grilled onions, especially since I am on chemotherapy and shouldn't be having a lot of raw/uncooked food, so this was a huge disappointment. Even sparser than the onions was the provolone cheese. In fact, I thought they simply forgot the cheese until I finally had a single bite mid-way through with melted cheese - and then, after the moment of that bite, it was gone. It's not like they need to go crazy with the cheese, but, it's contained in a single bite's worth of the meal? Not cool. The mushrooms were average. If I wanted to get real picky, I would say they were sliced too thin and too small for my tastes, but at least they were physically present in the actual meal as per the description. The final issue was the two sauces that came with my meal. The sandwich came with a creamy horseradish sauce and the mashed potatoes came with a side of gravy. I normally do not touch gravy as I just don't usually care for it, except on Thanksgiving; but I thought I would humor myself and just taste it. I may look like it, but honestly, I'm no gravy expert; so I ask, is it customary for gravy to taste only like flour and salt? If it is, I'm glad I don't eat gravy that often because that was not very pleasant. I know flour is used to make it, but shouldn't it be seasoned with something other than salt? Now, as for the horseradish sauce... I don't know what I can say without being insulting, and I don't want to be insulting. My honest opinion is that it tasted like curdled, stale sour cream with half a splash of something that resembled horse radish. This was just awful and probably hands down the worst horseradish sauces I have ever tried. And by the way, I do like a good horseradish sauce with steak. So, was there anything good or redeeming about the meal? I will say that the amount of steak meat they used was more than adequate and the mashed potatoes were surprisingly NOT over salted... in fact I could barely taste any salt in them. Overall, I was obviously very dissatisfied with this meal. I do feel bad being so harsh, but this is how it was. I also feel bad because the meal was complimentary - so it's not like I can go after Chili's for my money back; but had I paid for it, I would have been on the phone with them. I only hope they up their quality because it's going to be a long while before I try anything from them again - at least at that location. I do believe in second chances, so I won't boycott them for life. Maybe next time they will impress me and my review will be all praise. One can only hope.

I used to think this place was decent, until I got sick from the food there last year. We have not gone back since and don't plan to go again. The food wasn't all that amazing to begin with anyway.

I and three friends went for lunch at 11:00 a.m. On a Wednesday. Sat in the bar. Took more than ten minutes to even be acknowledged. One waiter in the bar and only one other couple. He walked past us several times without saying a word. The rest of the restaurant had very few patrons at this time. Long story short, worst service I've experienced in a long, long time. Shame on this management! Shame on this waiter. Find another profession! P.S., this happened on Wednesday, 12/26. Y'all know who you are. One star just because the food was okay.

This place is f#cked! Flat out! I don't know why I ever go back. Probably never will again. The service in the bar is terrible. If there's a wait forget it you're better off burning your money else where. The food is sub par at best. And when you get your bill, you can't believe you're paying for all that. I do NOT recommend. Go to Casa Ramos down the street for a level above this place.

Their food is always awesome. We were treated once to a huge plateful of nachos. The food is always good and we never leave disappointed. This is the place to eat for couples who love to eat until their heart is content.

We came into eat after shopping at the outlets. We sat in the bat section. Our drink order was taken quickly and our appetizer came out fast as well. I ate the Margarita Chicken which was amazing. My husband ate the buffalo chicken burger which he found to be better then other Chilis we have been to. If we are out that way again, we will be back.

I tried to order a flatbread using my coupon I received for signing up for the promotion going on right now. The coupon states to go in as early as 10:45 am. I attempted to go in at 10:45 on my way to work and the doors were not open. I knocked on the window because I saw a man standing near the door and he came over to open the door for me. He introduced himself as the manager J.R. I asked if I could order my flatbread using the coupon and he said no. I showed him the coupon showed the hours stated between 10:45 am and 11pm. He explained how he was the manager and he wasnt opening the doors until 11. I tried to explain how I was stopping by before heading into work to pick up some lunch and before I could finish he cut me off and said "well im not opening the doors until 11 so you will have to wait" and shut the door. I've never been treated this poorly at this location before. Next time ill drive a little further and visit the El Dorado Hills Chilis or another restaurant . This is unacceptable behavior and customer service exhibited by a manager.

As always, good food and service. I'm not much for writing reviews on chain businesses, but this particular chili's is always good, and I had another good meal last night.

Never really thought about take out from the this Chili's even though it's right around the corner from work, always sat down. Got the rib itch up my ass today and was solo so I thought I'd get me some take out. Had the food ready and my drink- I'd prefer they get my drink when I get there but oh well. I love their ribs but my one complaint is that they put the loaded mashed potatoes right on the paper on the bottom of the container and they eventually sing into the paper so If you want to eat all of them, you are eating some paper too. Little things that take away two stars. On one last note cause I honestly do not know but do you and how much if you do- tip on take out? I do but really, for what?

This place is good for lunch and dinner. i genereally have the fajitas here and they are really filling and good in taste. The sitting is ample and wait times sometime on the weekends can take long. They have started a saparate new menu totally for the veggie ..so there is one more added to there list.

Once you get out of the major cities its seems like people really feel comfortable with sameness. The same 10 stores and 2 coffee houses and 7 restaurants. Chili's fits right into the model. The Folsom operation is the same as the one in Daly City and San Jose and Las Vegas - exactly. Mind numbingly cheery wait staff serving you gigantic portions... Ive heard that Chili's wont even release the nutritional information unless you absolutely insist. If you do , prepare to be SHOCKED ThumbsUP: Baby Back Ribs are yummy ThumbsDOWN: Sick sad representation on the control big business has on America. Everything is the same, everyone works to make the people on the top richer, no room for an individual enterprise.

I have to award Chili's as new the "worst restaurant" in Folsom. I know that Ruby Tuesday's will be disappointed that they are now the 2nd worst restaurant in Folsom. I had a bowl of Chili and a salad for lunch today......and I have to say, I was a victim of abuse and robbery. Abuse for the insult to my taste buds and robbery for having to pay for this awful dining experience. The chili had no chili beans (or any other kind of beans) in it and there was maybe three or four very small pieces of what I think must have been meat. It was like a cold bowl of chili soup. The salad was not much better. The salad had spent way too long in the walk-in refrigerator, as it had no flavor and even a good helping of Ranch dressing could not bring it back to life. The chips and salsa were decent...especially the salsa. Obviously, it was purchased from a store and not made on-site.....The server was courteous and effective. However, there is no way I am ever going back to this so-called restaurant. They bungled the most simplest of meals...WOW!!!! With some many other choices for lunch in Folsom, I would defintely skip going to Chili's....

I love Chili's so I was excited when my husband suggested we order it to go and have a nice night at home. I ordered online at 5:40 and was given the option to pick up the food by 6. Perfect. Show up at 6, when we finally get greeted they bring out the country fried steak that my husband ordered and ask if that is all we have. Umm, no. So the guy goes to 'check' on the order and never comes back. So we keep waiting for someone to follow up but everyone is really good at pretending we aren't there and absolutely no eye contact. We finally have another person ask if we have been helped and we tell him we think so. Now he goes to check and comes out saying it's almost ready. Finally we are about to get our food when another person walks in to do their pick up. The waiter stops helping us to get this guy's food, take his money, go in the back for something else, and just leave us waiting again. Finally another guy comes out (very kind and helpful) and we are able to pay and leave. This is 30 minutes after we arrived. Well, the country fried steak was ready 30 minutes ago, so now it has been sitting for 30 minutes getting cold and gross. Awesome. When we get home and get ready to chow down, we realized they forgot one of my sides. Really, we just waited that long and the order isn't even correct? Needless to say, we won't be doing 'to go' here anytime in the future. Probably stick with BJ's where the food is ready when we arrive and the order is correct. Disappointed.

We are always greeted at the door with smiles and happiness, always made to feel welcome! Staff are usually cleaning something - tables, menus & floors - NICE! Service is quick and efficient. Servers are always full of great suggestions. Food is consistently great. Menu items are changed up regularly. We love this place!

I love Chili's. I don't know why....OK yes I do. It's their chicken enchilada soup.....and the Chips and Queso....and OK I admit it- I absolutely LOVE their molten lava cake. Its my all time favorite dessert. So basically if I want to eat food that is really bad for me (and maybe have an awesome margarita) then I head to Chili's. Or I get it to go because the one thing about Chili's is there is always a wait.
