Lee’s Sandwiches Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Sandwiches are such a good deal. I love the grilled pork sandwich (favorite). And the iced coffee is perfect. Just the right amount of sweetness for me (very) and the price is reasonable for the quality! This coffee is STRONG so don't get the large if this is your first time. I like getting the bottled coffee so I can pour myself a cup at home before work/school. Just fill the cup with ice and pour coffee to your desire. Only $5 for the bottle. Lasts me 2-3 drinks since I drink it in small portions to savor it!

Sandwiches are always delicious and customer service is on point! My boyfriend and I are always coming here and we have been calling in to place our order. We get there and it's ready for us! Lee's have been increasing their prices every 6 months I feel like. But it's okay, $3.80 for a sandwich in Chino Hills is fine by me! Go for the #5 sandwich (Banh Mi Thi Nuong)!!

Lee's is a good choice if you are into asian styled sandwiches. I have liked pretty much everything I have ordered here, including the combination, grilled pork, and chicken. The sandwiches are all fairly cheap too, which is great if you are eating on a budget. The drinks here have mostly been a miss from me. The coffee is good, but not necessarily my thing. This Lee's is probably the smallest location that I have been to, with virtually no tables for seating inside. The service can be a bit slow too due to lack of employees and the selection here seems to be more limited than other Lee's that are located in the OC.

Very convenient to order online and pick up in store. I like the Bbq pork sandwich a lot:) lot of meat for such a cheap price!

Yup yup! Love Lee's!!! I've always gotten their #1 Combination. If you're not feeling the Vietnamese sandwiches, the have others like turkey or roast beef. I was craving a Lee's sandwich yesterday, so I went... & what do you know. FREE Lee's coffee w/ a purchase of a Banh Mi sandwhich. =D 4 stars for the lack of cilantro, daikon, & carrots. Before they put a lot.. Now you don't get some in every bite. Still bomb!! & actually thinking about going for lunch today. Lol.

  • Lee S.

Sandwiches are tasty. I tried both a sandwich from asian and european menu. The customer service was good, he did a great job recommending what their best sandwiches were. Try grilled pork sandwich from asian menu, absolutely tasty!

  • Bethany S.

Lee's is definitely my go-to for coffee. Super convenient and a great balance of sweetness!! I'm a sucker for condensed milk so this would def make me return. Stop by if you're in the area! Ample parking in a private lot.

Came here a month ago for a quick bite and had a roast beef and turkey croissant sandwich. Very small shop with tables available to eat outside. Let me just say that although my sandwich was good and decently priced, I keep eating my husband's sandwich on that bomb bread they serve the Vietnamese BBQ pork sandwich on. It was baked to perfection, soft and made there. They are also known for their coffee which was pretty strong. If you get a chance to try their strawberry cream cheese croissant you will not regret it. Good food and will return

Small Shop And Still Good. I have been here a couple times already and I am always lucky enough to not have to wait in line. Staff are courteous and friendly and food comes out relatively quick. My favorite pick from the menu is #11. The Combination Special. I love all the assorted meat in there and it tastes really yummy (some people may not like it cause of the Pate). Price is reasonable and I would always choose this over Subway (sorry subway fans). I'm lucky that location is accessible to me. Would recommend for lunch

    (4)
  • Jeremy M.

Great sandwiches. I always order the #11. Good comes out fresh and tastes great even for left overs and I not a left overs person. Services is always great here and I always get to try new samples.

I heard of this place years ago through my girlfriend an it was so good we kept coming here on weekends or before dodger games. The sandwiches are delicious and the spring rolls ok. They're located all over Southern California so hit up there website for the nearest location to you.

I usually like to stop here during my lunch break, mainly for their delicious iced coffee. Lee's iced coffee is like crack in a cup for me. The coffee is very strong, addicting, and the condensed milk adds the right amount of sweetness. They often fill my cup with more ice than coffee, which is actually fine with me because I let the ice melt to water down the coffee. I drink Starbucks coffee on a daily basis, and it rarely has me bouncing off walls like Lee's iced coffee. I do prefer my sandwiches on a croissant over a baguette. Their European Sandwiches include lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and cheese; a pickle, pepperoncinis, red onions, and mustard come on the side. My favorite sandwich at the moment is the Turkey Club (turkey, bacon, cheese) on a croissant, no lettuce or tomato. This location is one of the smallest in size that I have visited. The workers are very friendly and the service tends to be fairly quick. There is plenty of outdoor seating and parking available. Overall, I have had great experiences at this location and will be back for more Lee's iced coffee!

  • Amanda J.

The best iced coffee and sandwiches find the best price. My favorite is the #12 vegetarian with no jalapeños. You can also buy fresh baguettes to take home.

Lee's Bánh Mì is THE STANDARD! You know when you throw that comparison on Bánh Mì joints, Lee's is probably what your reference point is gonna be. They seem to be all over the place except close to me, sadly. And with minimal options for Bánh Mì 'round my town, any Lee's sightings, gets hints popping in my head the rest of the day! AAARGH! Bánh Mì in the brain! This one in Chino, is one of the smaller sized ones I've been to. There isn't the full menu here either, so even though ya see it up there, don't get your hopes up. What's cool was the smell of fresh baguettes permeating the air. Apparently, baguettes are baked every 30 minutes here according to one of the signs posted. This is THROUGHOUT the day, says the lad taking my bills. I don't think I wanna test that claim close to closing here in Chino, so I'll usually venture in while the Sun still shines. Breakfast is only served until 11am, but I'm here for the Asian sandwiches, which they serve all day. *#6 BÁNH MÌ THIT NUÓNG (BBQ PORK): We all wanted this today. Two variations of it though, 1 regular and 1 with additional liver pâté. Sure enough bread was soft with a slightly crisp exterior. Perfectly messy with lots of flakes spilled with every bite. The pork was tender and succulent with a good quantity evenly spaced throughout the baguette. Nuthin' but happy faces today :) Lee's is hit & miss on quality anywhere you go. This one is no exception. Maybe times are changing and today is becoming the norm? However, for this Ventura County family, we're just happy to get our hands on decent Bánh Mì ;)

Closest Lee's to my house, so extra points for that. Great hours, love stopping here for breakfast. While the fillings in the Bahn Mi are pretty skimpy, the great is always super fresh and filling, and for being under $4 it is a great deal! Great selection, service is nice and quick, the place clean and well kept and there is a ton of easy parking right out front.

The lady helping us was very nice! The venue was smaller than others that I have been too, but it has everything you need. Vietnamese coffee of course!! The area that it's located in is very nice and you can take your coffee outside to drink on a beautiful day. Just for taste: 1. Green waffles - these were pretty good. You can taste the pieces of coconut on the waffles. I just didn't like how it was a little soggy. 2. Vietnamese coffee - (5 stars) of course as good as any other lees, but they put a little too much ice in mine. However, I like how it's crushed ice so you can mix the coffee easier. Overall: Definitely a great place for your stop grab and go coffee.

Randy and Lee's sandwiches are so amazing. I would come back to him and Lee's any day of the week.

I always love coming to this location for my viet sandwiches fix service is always great and of course the food too! But their lee's coffee is to die for!

  • Kaylee C.

This what got me to fall In love with Banh Mi, with options for the more authentic to mild flavors who aren't quite ready. The bread is fresh baked and amazing. I love the BBQ pork, a boba smoothie on the side makes a great lunch and the sandwiches start at around 4$. So good, the staff was so nice and so friendly. Try it. It's great!

    (5)
  • Jessica L.

I have a love/hate relationship with Lee's Sandwhich. Somedays, you are soft and gentle. Your bbq pork is fatty and juicy with yumminess. Other days I feel you want to cut my mouth. I feel like I am tossing the bread often because it's just so dang hard. But it's cool, the little birds surrounding you outside will eat it anyways. I love the crack coffee, it keeps me wired all day. It get's pretty busy during lunch hour, but the wait time for the food isn't bad at all. Lemonade is bomb also~!

Every other Saturday, Hubbs and I wake up early to run errands and pick up a couple of ice coffees on the way home. Its just one of those treats that we look forward to. I honestly wish they had a super-size guzzler option ha! This past Saturday, I wanted to shake it up a bit and ordered a caramel frappe and a fresh baked baguette while Hubbs stuck to his usual. As much as I wanted to like my frappe, I was sitting there eye balling his drink instead hoping that he might want to trade. Yea, I just wasn't into it. But that baguette....YUM! Wish I had brought a tub of butter with me.

    (3)
  • Deborah D.

Our order was completely made wrong! I said NO tomatoe's! And I got tomatoes. I said no cheese, and I got cheese. My friend said no red onions, and she got red onions. I gave the cheese to my friend and she gave me the onions. There was barely any mayo. What a mess! And the place wasn't even busy! Very disappointed.

  • M. J.

Lees is awesome! Love the sandwiches and ice coffees. There's plenty of outdoor seating making it dog friendly and they have good vegetarian options. But the key is the bread and they make awesome baguettes.

    (5)
  • Jeremy R.

The Lee's Ice Coffee is really good. Kind of expensive but worth the caffeine kick it will give you.

BATHROOMS. FILTHY. You can NEVER get more than one star if you have disgusting restrooms. No seat covers, soap dispenser broken (both) no towels just hand dryer. Filthy walls fixtures floors. Sandwich was OK, but cant enjoy food that might be good watching employees come out of this restroom. do not Go here. No STAR. Sorry All. It is not the customers job to notify a dirty restroom WITH NO SEAT COVERS, broken soap dispensers, dirtyness....

  • catherine c.

Ive been going to this branch store from time to time, and last night's chicken sandwiches that I bought were the best I've had! There were no burned sides (that happened quite often before...seriously I'm not looking for anything bbq, otherwise I would have just go buy bbq items), lots of meat/veggies in the bun (before the contents were so little that I was thinking about not coming to purchase anymore), and the servers were funny and well-trained! I love you guys again!

  • Sody P.

this place is always good every time i come and the customer service is always great... i usually order the combination sandwich with the large lees coffee man i can never get bored with lees coffee its always good and keeps me going for my day... overall always a good and nice experience at lees sandwich

    (5)
  • Saree C.

Got the special combination today. It was actually pretty good despite not being one of the hot (temperature) sandwiches. It is also a bit on the peppery side. Baguette is yummy, meat is yummy. I asked for it without onion this time. I then realized I forgot to ask for it without jalapenos until my mouth was on fire. I'd totally get this sandwich again. Also grabbed a package of toasted baguettes with butter, which was 3.99 Line was long, but our order came out pretty quickly. *Spend over $10 to not get charged fee if using credit. Otherwise use debit/cash. *Spend over $5 to earn point on the five star rewards card

A very clean place with yummy sandwiches and ice coffee n durian smoothie to die for. We came here many times and also the french baguette is sooo fresh, my 2 years old love it. Crispy on the outside n soft in the inside

  • Ronald M.

Fast service. Waited less than 5 minutes for a sandwich and iced coffee. Can't really complain about lees sandwiches. Iced coffee is my favorite because it's so strong. If I ever want vietnamese iced coffee, I'll most likely travel to this location because it's the only one near where I live.

    (5)
  • Sir E.

REMEMBER: for take-home, you can stop in an get a fresh French roll for about a DOLLAR!

    (4)
  • Alice H.

I ordered a grilled pork banh mi and it was delicious. There was a generous amount of pork and just the right amount of pickled radishes/carrots, cilantro, and jalapenos. I love that the bread was freshly made, which gave it the perfect chewiness, and it wasn't too bready - just enough bread to carry the ingredients. As an east coaster, most of our banh mi comes in a 6 inch roll, so I was pleasantly surprised that I got a 10 inch roll for $3. Overall a solid sandwich.

    (4)
  • Brian F.

I love lees sandwiches! I usually get the grilled pork with extra veggie for no extra charge. Their coffee tastes great!

    (5)
  • Derry K.

Vary good value got a lot for my money the bread fresh and well-made you could get a full loaf for a dollar 25 service was really good. It's an excellent shopping center the only thing is there's no dining room it is strictly a takeout but there are tables out around the Front.

    (4)
  • Breyanna A.

I love their sandwiches, and their coffee. I always get the #4 the grilled chicken sandwich with extra veggies and it never disappoints. The prices are also very fairly priced, each sandwich is around $4 but they are huge. I wish there was one closer to where I live, but I'll make the travel for Lee's! :-)

    (5)
  • Brandon S.

Go to lunch spot in Chino! Cheap and awesome. I always get the great asian syle sandwich and coffee. Amazing!

    (5)
  • Jackie D.

I love your coffee but your BBQ Pork Banh Mi sucks. The bread is good but the sandwich was super dry and the meat was almost not there. Dry bland, meatless sandwich, joy, joy. BBQ pork should be tasty but it was the opposite. Flavorless tough meat is what this place served me. When I need a banh mi, I'll stick with Banh Mi Che Cali

    (2)
  • Jerel L.

Yo this place dope, got my food real quick and they had wifi. Friendly environment, clean, I love Lee's sammiches. Finna come here more often now.

Come here for a quick sandwich and their iced coffee! Generally a take out place, my kids always love the sandwiches here, bread ismuch better alternative than Subway. Service is pretty fast considering they make each sandwich upon order.

    (5)
  • Joe G.

Ordered a #4 with extra chicken. Tasted just like I remembered when I would get it in the OC. Large iced coffee is good as well. It's about 1100 calories for a lunch. So be prepared for it. Yes it was totally worth it. Small inside, plenty of tables and chairs outside. Great customer service. Happy eating!

    (5)
  • Michael S.

This lees is pretty small, but you know what they say -great things come in small packages. The staff here is awesome and super friendly. Get their famous coffee and pair with a delicious sandwich. Perfect lunch!

  • Samantha M.

Ordered the special, which was yummy, the turkey with bacon, also good, and the grilled pork. Grilled pork was dry and barely any meat in there to know what it was. What really disappointed me was the drinks. I ordered a Thai tea. When I got it it looked like the tea and cream were already mixed. I took a sip and it was like drinking watered down condensed milk. I asked them if they could add a little more tea because it was too sweet. They looked at me confused. The thai tea they have is pre-mixed and they offered to water it down for me. Not the same, sorry. I asked for a different drink, the iced coffee. Before pouring it they asked if I wanted to taste it first because that comes pre-mixed as well. I said it's fine, I'll just take it. They fill a cup with ice, pour in the pre-mixed coffee half way up the cup, then proceed to pack ice into the cup and fill the remaining crevices with the pre-mixed coffee. There was so much ice in it the lid popped off on my way out. Really? I paid $3 for a cup of ice with a splash coffee-flavored cream? I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Might not come here again, really.

  • Anna D.

THIS is our GO TO spot. My spouse and I both like banh mi #3 and the Iced Coffee. Bomb.com wish this place can stay open 24/7 like the one in Orange County...that would be amazing!

    (5)
  • Lili L.

So far I love it! It's better than any other sandwich I tried so far. The cashier is very friendly and funny.

    (4)
  • Becky L.

I always come here for their banh mi sandwich and their ice coffee. Been coming here for years. Staff is always friendly and it's clean. Would recommend anyone plus I can't get a banh mi sanchwhich around here unless I go to orange county so this place is local.

The best coffee ever! Better sandwich then subway biology Hawaiian barbecue and better than Burger King Carl's Jr.yeah

Technically this deserves 2.5 Stars. So, my friends always raved about how bomb Lee's Iced-Coffee is. Me, being a super late bloomer never got around to it until last week when I was dying for some during my lunch break from work. So I went in for it. Regular iced-coffee please. It literally took 30+ minutes for my freaking coffee. I assumed although it was lunch, rush hour, it'd be fast because all I got was a darn coffee, but no. I was getting so upset, but I couldn't blame them either, it was only three staff members serving, making and all that jazz. But still.. I get the whole first come first serve method, but it was only a coffee!!!! The woman was kind enough to make it ASAP after my calm questioning if my beverage was ready. "I'll get it right away" Took her less than 5 minutes and I waited the entire time... Don't mess with me and my coffee need. Oh, small place, but they do have a few tables and chairs.

    (2)
  • Daniel K.

Great lunch spot with friendly staff and fresh baked baguettes! Its right next to louies chicken (another great lunch spot) with plenty of sitting areas. The parking may be a problem though

    (5)
  • Gia P.

I was craving a banh mi the other day, and while I really really wanted one from Super Sandwich (which are now out of business D:), I settled on Lee's for my lunch break. I ordered the typical "special" (which is a #11 here) with extra pate ($0.75 charge), J got the same sandwich in addition to the grilled pork, and a honey chrysanthemum tea. K opted for the BBQ pork banh mi along with the iced coffee. First problem was that they didn't mark which banh mi had the extra pate, so we had to open up the sandwich and pilfer through it to find out. In the end, that didn't do much since the amount looked exactly the same. Kind of irked since I was charged for it but I was on a time constraint and didn't have time to raise a fuss, so we just started eating. Second problem was that the bread was kind of hard. Possibly re-frozen, then microwaved, then tossed in a toaster oven? Which is usually fine since that's what I do when I buy whole frozen/not yet cooked loaves, but when I do it at home, the bread is still soft on the inside. The honey chrysanthemum tea was really good, as was the iced coffee--if you like taking 3 pulls from the cup and having it be finished. They fill up the [iced coffee] cup with large chunks of ice, and then add crushed ice to essentially fill in the little cracks and crevices, so your ice to coffee ratio is like 3:1. Tasty coffee, but I'd rather spend my money on the necessities to make it at home. Kind of a rip-off. Some have said that it's because the coffee's "too strong"--if that's the case, dilute your own coffee. K said he enjoyed his banh mi, despite the quality of the bread and the skimpy portion of meat. The best I could say about my banh mi is that it didn't cut the roof of my mouth. I really did enjoy the chrysanthemum iced tea, though--enough to order a second. Yes, it's close by, but I'd rather make the drive to a better banh mi place. More like a 1.5--I'd say I might come back for the drinks but probably not. Should get Jimmy a location there for better traffic. I really miss Super Sandwich :(

    (2)
  • Samantha L.

I am back to talk about my sandwiches from Monday.. What happened?! =( they took a shrink ray and ran the treadmill for too long. The banh mi are much smaller than the last time I had bought from that Lee's or any other ones, yet they have a price increase. Very few ingredients. It felt more like decorated bread than a sandwich. I was a little sad. It didn't taste horrible but it was difficult for me to eat. I guess I'll resume my occasional visits for food and maybe come back for coffee or drinks. I'm flabbergasted. I was looking forward to filling up for lunch from this Lee's. Oh well...

    (3)
  • Diana N.

I get two sandwiches everytime. One right now, and one later. And at that price, its less than a whole meal at in n out across the street!

    (5)
  • Bianca V.

Looove this place. Found out about it years ago, and I was bummed out because I didn't frequent the area they were located in anymore. Soon enough I find out they're bringing a location not far at all! Came here as soon as they opened and now I frequent this place any chance I get. Sandwiches are to die for, especially the bread omg crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Their breakfast is great, and if you haven't had a chance, their Lee's ice coffee is a MUST. Fyi it is a bit on the strong side, but the taste is awesome. If you're a sandwich lover this place is a go-to!

    (5)
  • Imran Q.

Lee's iced coffee is the best! It wakes me up and makes me happy. The staff is so nice and welcoming. Can't forget those yummy chicken buns.. Mm... :)

Excellent customer service, friendly staff and very clean. Oh, and you knooowww the food is always on point !!!

    (5)
  • Emilio F.

First time and probably last time. They put some nasty lettuce with brown rot on it and white part of lettuce stock? Manager Tracy said "oh they probably used the last part of the lettuce" I said that still doesn't make it right? Sandwiches are small but turkey appeared "Fresh"? Well tried it again got the Grilled yuk chicken Korean style? It was very skinny and hardly any chicken and what little chicken their was in it light/dark meat And with Grisso/fat! It was very little meal for what I paid. Subway is better! This place get

Friendly helpful staff, smells great inside! So many choices! Breakfast is served all day! Which isn't common anymore unfortunately

    (5)
  • R R.

The place smells like rotten fish but the food is actually not bad. As always, Lee's sandwiches offer a great variety of tasty sandwiches, summer rolls, delicious smoothies and many other things. I wanted to try their Italian sodas, but they were out. The lady at the front was kind enough to make me a delicious smoothie of the same flavor despite is costing a few cents more. Clearly, the service is far more pleasant than the first impression inflicted by that horrid scent lol. The lee's club special rocks!

  • Butter M.

Greatest sandwich ever! Always confirm the #11 combination :-) Love the coffee too!!!

This particular Lee's store has a really chill cafe styled environment. I ordered a Cà Phê Sa Đá here and it took them less than a minute to make it. I highly recommend this location for those of you who like to hangout and grab a drink with a friend or study. Take advantage of the free wi-fi and order iced coffee or Vietnamese sandwiches here.

    (5)
  • Earnest L.

Sandwiches are delicious :) inexpensive and great quality what more can you ask for? And the coffee really wakes you up!

    (5)
  • Daniel D.

The people are really chill. I am like a regular here since I live a couple of blocks away. I like stopping by here to get my grilled pork sandwich and coffee. It is very convenient. It's like stopping by Subways and Starbucks at the same time but better. If you're in a rush, this is a quick fix for your hunger and caffeine.

Ordered the special combination sandwich (4$). The meat was Vietnamese I think, so it looked kinda weird, and there was a huge slice of jalapeño which was too much for me after a while. Overall the sandwich was delicious and at a decent price!

I came in here during lunch just to check this place out. I've been to other Lee's Sandwiches and noticed firstly that this place was pretty small compared to others, but whatever. I got the Iced Latte, to wake me up, and the coffee is pretty strong and tasty, no complaints. Also got a Grilled Pork sandwich. Can't really say much besides it was what I was expected. The service was really quick and the employees were extremely friendly.

I love Lees sandwiches but what pissed the **** out of me was ... I have an hour lunch and my family was in town so since I live by work, I decided to get them some sandwiches too. Before I left work I called so I can place an order ... I was nice& polite .. She asked if I was placing a big order , I said not really like 5 sandwiches. She said okay but asked to put me on hold ... Couple minutes passed and I got cut off or hunged up on? I called back, no answer .. Called again .. No answer ... What the ... I did this 7 times .. I decided to BLOCK my number ... And call again .. And guess what .. Someone answers ... I only placed my order because I told my family I was getting them Lees. I wasted 15mins of my lunch n then waited 15mins to get my food (which I didn't mind because of course you have to wait for it to be made) I had to eat n drive to drop off the food for my family& have time to drive back to work. I'm so upset with customer service. They had like 5 employees and not one can answer? At least tell me they are really busy or something not hang up on me or ignore me. I hardly write reviews but when it's really upsetting then I do ... Whatever, I'll still eat here but your service wasn't professional.

Lee's Coffee is the best! I go there everyday at my lunch hour to get my coffee fix. Just something about their coffee, it's gotten that unique taste that I can't describe. Love the girls and other staffs there! They are so friendly and fun to talk to! Love, Love, Love it there!

There's a saying, "Never mess with a man's baguette or boba." This Lee's Sandwiches has managed to do both! Today, I stopped by to pick-up a baguette for dinner. I was told that I had to wait approx. 15-mins., even though there were 5 left on the rack. The explanation was, "...just in case the people behind you in line want to order a sandwich." Aren't they in line AFTER me? I get it, they needed it to be able to make sandwiches. I was a Lee's Coffee addict, thank you Lee's Chino for 'sucking' so bad that I'm no longer an addict.

Lees is the best place where they make egg rolls and Thai iced tea no one is close to making the best egg rolls and how the egg rolls are so good, I think people would die for the egg rolls

Inconsistent at the Lee's outside the true Asian areas. Lee's coffee drinker since the days of $1.50 with the only location in SoCal which was across the street from the Asian Garden Mall. Today on President's day, I really wanted a Lee's but didn't get a chance to head down to Westminster so stopped by the Chino franchise & the dude at the counter didn't even know how to make an extra strong coffee. He just took out the plastic bottle of the triple dark or whatever he called it and poured it in the cup. Really? Did he sleep through the Lee's training 101 class? At a true Lee's in OC or Rosemead the proper way would be to pour in the all black coffee with less of the sweetened pre-mixed concoction. This rendition would make the coffee extra strong & less sweet. Lee's in Chino please train your employees to make a proper extra strong coffee, especially when it cost a bit more at your location ($2.75) then usual ($2.39). Thank you.

Its always great to eat at this lees location in chino. The staff are friendly, they provide excellent service. The food is delicious and a healthier option to your typical fast food. A great place for lunch.

Love their iced coffee but I feel it's mostly ice cubes. So the next time I ordered one with light ice. The cup was half way full. When I asked they said regardless of how much ice you want they only put in a certain amount of coffee. So really it's less than half of their serving cup. Rip off!! I'm sticking to Starbucks.

I always come by here because it's so cheap and delicious. The grilled pork sandwich is always bomb diggity. The workers always welcome me when I walk in. • K K.

Came early morning, I'm so glad this place opens at 7am! The girl behind the counter was super nice and made my coffee perfectly - extra sweetened with condensed milk as I requested. I ordered the pork roll pate sandwich, it isn't as tasty because there's less butter than how they usually make the sandwiches in the Westminster locations, but the sandwich was great anyway. For those of you disappointed in lees sandwiches after trying for the first time, just FYI, lees is known for its vietnamese sandwiches not the American styled ones. If you want a regular turkey sub, you may want to skip and make a beeline for subway or togos. Personally I prefer vietnamese sandwiches any day of the week, so having a lees in the chino hills area is a godsend for me.

  • Jeff T.

The food is great and the prices are awesome but the wait is RIDICULOUS. Even if you're the only one in there expect to wait a while for your food, I don't understand why it takes them so long to make everyone's food. I went in there yesterday, there was 1 person ahead of me that just ordered 1 sandwich. I ordered a sandwich and an egg roll, the cashier handed me the egg roll upon payment and by the time I got my sandwich 15-20 minutes later my egg roll was stone cold. I just don't understand why it takes 20 minutes to make a sandwich and you're not even busy. Every time I've gone in there I've had to wait an extended period of time just to get my sandwich and it's never been overly busy or crowded.

    (3)
  • Mandy N.

It's like any other Lee's Sandwiches, except more expensive. Their coffee is about a dollar more than the normal Lee's prices. I guess since it is the only lee's around they can charge whatever they want. There is also limited seating areas so it is more of a get and go place. Other than that the food is what you would expect from a chain Vietnamese food place.

    (3)
  • Jen C.

I like their sandwiches here but it's a bit more expensive here than the Rowland Heights location. One thing about this place is that it's small and there's no seating inside. The sandwiches also come out cold. Service was ok. The workers were knowledgeable and suggested a few things. I'd come back here.

    (4)
  • Annie T.

Bad service! They forgot to give me my sandwich and when I called and told them I can't get it until after work they said they will charge me for another sandwich if I get it later. They take forever to get your order and the place is tiny compared to other lee's sandwiches! I would rather buy their sandwiches in orange county!

Let me preface by saying I hate Subway. I don't care of Jarred loves it, or that it's pretty cheap. The meat is slimy and disgusting. Here is an economy struggling alternative for extremely cheap sandwiches for a fraction of the price. The bread is crusty, the veggies are fresh, and the chicken was sooo flavorful, all for less than $3, plus being outta there with your order in about 10 minutes! Also available are different flavored bubble teas and a variety of pastries. You come out with such a great meal, leaving satisfied and more $ in your wallet. Check out the different varieties of sandwiches. Turkey plus ham. Ham plus pork. Chicken plus pork. I guarantee that Subway will be the last place you'll wanna go eat after having a bahn mi!

I've been going to Lee's sandwiches since visiting their first location in San Jose. I remember back then, the sandwiches were being made and stacked for the lunch crowd. Within minutes, they would have to restack them. The location in San Jose had it going, I mean. The quality and ingredients used were top notch! But Lee's has really gone downhill. Ever since they have been franchising. The quality of the meats, veggies, pate and even the bread has gone down. The bread is way to hard and they don't trim the fat properly before using. They have become very cheap on the Thai Tea and Coffee drinks and the prices have sky rocketed. My visit to the Chino Hills location floored me when I saw that the sandwiches were over $3. I guess that's a good deal when you compare it to subways, but seriously. Subways and Togos put's 5 times more meat in their sandwiches. The $3 is really for the bread and seasoning at Lee's. I was very disspointed with Lee's and probably will be going to the Mom and Pop Vietnamese Banh Mi shops from now on. We ordered the Veggi, BBQ, Grilled Pork along with some Egg Rolls. Not impressed. Will skip them from now on.

Bought a sandwich, and had to ask for it to be heated. It was a cold sandwich. Roll of eyes from the cashier. Lol don't Lee's sandwiches all have that "hot baguette" sign on the door? Definitely not up to par.

I love Lee's Sandwiches! we drove from Riverside to buy some sandwiches today. Me and my little sister and I was so excited. I bought three grilled pork and three grilled chicken Oh and one Turkey roll...everything was so delicious. I can't wait for them to open one up in Riverside. The girl working there said it'll be open soon their training people right now I was like awesome lol. It's always a nice atmosphere in any of the locations. One of my favorites for sure. I always get the grilled pork sandwiches with extra meat. BOMB

Staff wasn't knowledgable about what was in the coffees. How many shots, etc. Wasn't a hard question we asked, but an employee asked 3 other employees, and nobody knew. Coffee nonetheless was good and strong. Establishment is just avg imho. -Goodfood.LA

If you are on your lunch break and/or looking for quick bite this is the spot! The customer service every time I stop by is on point. The cashiers are very polite and very good at suggesting things on the menu if you are indecisive about what to order. Whats great about this place is that it is close to where I work! If anyone is going to go here for the first time I highly suggest the tofu sandwich and also ordering the "asian combo."

This is my go to lunch spot. Find me here 2-3 times a week. Best price for lunch (the #5 grilled pork banh mi only $3.35 after tax!!!) I havent ventured past my Grilled Pork Banh Mi (except to try the pastries) the pastries are OK and the coffee seems very popular which I will have to try but the Banh Mi is awazing and clean tasting. Great bread!

I wanted to see why this place is popular. After today, I'm stumped. I ordered a turkey, bacon and cheese sandwich and it cost me almost $6. I had to wait 15 min for this sandwich which had gross, fake cheese, the lettuce was soggy and the tomato wasn't fresh. Customer service was poor and the music was so loud I could barely hear the cashier. For that price, I could've gotten a sandwich, chips and a drink in just a couple of minutes at Togos. I will not go back.

Horrible place, one of the employee sneezed and it got on her hand. Caught her making drinks for the customer. Super McNasty. If u want to eat here during lunch get ready to show back to work late, cause they take forever even though they have 4 workers.

  • Mike D.

Went there on 8/21/14 at 7:50pm to get a sandwich. I was told they were out of baguettes. Really? That's like McDonald's being out of French Fries. They need to learn a thing or two about restaurant management. To the employee's credit, she did apologize.

I would love to give this place a good review but I can't. I have had this place twice now and they got my Order wrong both times! My sandwich had 3 ingredients and that is it. It's pretty bad they can't get it right. If it was a complicated order I would give them some slack, but it wasn't. I will never go back and I will just give my business to Jersey Mike's.

We came in between soccer games, to get some sandwiches. We waited 35 mins for 3 small turkey sandwiches. They handed us the bag, and all 3 were on the wrong bread. We waited another 20 mins, only to walk back to the car (after we checked they were on the right bread), and ALL THREE sandwiches were wrong. We finally went back in to ask for our money back, and the cashier tried telling my husband basically he didn't know what he ordered because his wife ordered!! I was in the car when my husband ordered. A wasted time of an hour, we left with no food, and had to argue with the cashier. Horrible service. Do not recommend this place. We will never come back. After waiting almost an hour for 3 sandwiches, they had the nerve to argue with my husband telling him he didn't know what he was talking about, and making him feel as though he was lying.

Was in the Chino Hills area and saw this Lee's, So I stopped in and got a #11 the Special. Everything was fine, but the Sandwiches seemed a bit smaller than the other Lee's Sandwiches.... by maybe an inch? I think this one cost more, as well. Sandwich was OK, but did not taste as good as the other ones I've been to, such as the one in Fullerton or Rosemead. Barely had any Pate in it. The menu does show that Extra Pate is .75. Wow, if Extra means another smidgen, like what I had on my sandwich, then definitely not worth it.

Stopped here for to bring some sandwiches to a house gathering.. Lee's Sandwich is consistent, even in locations out in Chino. Bad: They didn't have too many pate chaud's left by mid afternoon. The price was a little more than other locations (like maybe a 50 cent difference) Service: Awesome, super thorough and helpful, more than other locations, maybe because the workers are these young guys who like to answer questions. I saw a few people come in and ask things like which iced coffee is better etc. and they were more than happy to help, so good for you.

Don't bother ordering a smoothie. My mom and I ordered an avocado and a strawberry smoothie...and both our drinks tasted the same! They use lots of sugar, milk, and ice...and barely enough fruit to allow you to discern between a strawberry smoothie and an avocado one! This Lees sandwiches needs to step up their game, especially when they're close enough to the locations in Westminster that have yummy banh mi and smoothies.

    (1)
  • Kelly S.

We always go there for durian smoothie n sandwiches#1. Every time we go in, the standard of taste is diff, maybe made by diff people each time. There were days drinks are good, there were days drinks are terrible. We now seldom go...how can anyone mess up a smoothie? Now we make the smoothie at home. more often

  • Ron S.

Great Sandwiches.. Baguettes were fresh , vegetables crispy, very generous with the meat. The prices are a tad more expensive than orange county locations due to higher rent in the nice part of town but that's okay , id rather pay a few cents extra than standing in a line reminiscent of a russian bread line from the early 90's. They also take debit cards...wooooo!!

i love this place ! even though its a little wait especially for lunch that's why usually call for take out cause i don't want to be late for work since their lunch rush gets pretty damn crazy. the sandwich is amazing i always order the grilled pork with extra avocados and those pickled Asian veggies...bombdotcom ! and that coffee!! i dont know what they put in there but it keeps me going for about another 24 hours LOLS the service should pick it up just a little bit more though. i know these people are young and cant really take much pressure during a rush but at least just be a little more attentive and p

Used to come here once a week until i started chewing on a piece of glass found in my bbq sandwich.... All they had offered me was a free sandwich!! they claimed they dont have any glass so they wouldnt even bother to pay for a check up from a doctor having no medical insurance. ridiculous never coming back to this spot in chino hills - not worth the health risk

One day, my dad brings home some Lee's sandwich and since we never had it before, he bought some to try it out. When I first tasted it, I was wondering what was one of that slices of meat was since it looked pretty different from any other cold meat/salami/bologna I've seen. Only a google search of headcheese taught me what it was, ha. Now, only my dad and I like the number one but the rest of my family isn't a big fan of pate and headcheese and their other choices. So, only my dad and I are fans, the rest of my family are subway lovers. I usually get a number 1: headcheese, pate, and cured pork ($3.03 with tax). Sometimes I get their iced coffee or their taro smoothie ($2.75). By the way, whipped cream in your drink costs $0.25, I thought it was free so I was a bit bummed about it. Most of the time, the bread is soft and chewy with cilantro, jalapeno, and julienne carrots and daikon inside. Depending on what time you come their bread quality can vary, like when it's near closing time, the bread is pretty hard, around before lunchtime, soft and chewy. They do sell day-old bread in forms of baguettes, the ends they cut off from the bread, and sometimes pastries. They do give out samples of smoothies when they make too much for a person's order; it's how I found out about the taro smoothie. I've been wanting to try the green bean and durian but I've been waiting for samples that they give out and I'm too cheap to buy a whole drink since I might not like it. The inside of the store is pretty small so no tables to eat in there, save for some 3-5 seats near the window. There's plenty of seats outside but if it's a hot day and you don't want to take out and eat somewhere else, you're screwed. Yeah, you have to wait a bit and it's cash only. They do have an ATM inside. Oh, and I think the manager there is some lady walking with some crazy-high stilettos. That chick has some guts walking around all day in those.

This place is really good! First time trying it out and it turned out to be really good. I think my sandwich maker name was Chris? Not sure but whoever made it, it was really bomb! I recommend getting the BBQ pork sandwich(:

I walked in this joint excited. There were so many colors and 2 languages on the menu. There were yummy looking crinkle cut fries on display but I had to pass them up so I could get a Thai Iced Tea with boba. I ordered a BBQ pork sandwich and a Thai Iced Tea with boba. It was ready in about 5 minutes and I took my $6.95 lunch outdoors in the sun to eat. I was thinking, wow what a great price until i saw there was about 2 oz of meat in my 10 inch baguette. The flavors made up for it however so I was happy. I am just saying, most people would probably frown and never come back if all their sams have this tiny amount of meat in them. I have fallen in love recently with Vietnamese food lately and to be honest, I have NO clue as to the yummy vegges that were in my sam which made up for the lack of meat, I do know there was cilantro but all else? This Mexican chick here couldn't say. It was filling with my delicious tea which by the way had at least 5 oz of boba at the bottom. YUM, The staff seemed helpful and fast. The joint was a tad unkempt but hey, they seemed to have a constant stream of business so I totally get it.

I like Lee's Sandwiches because you can get a decent, satisfying meal for less than 5 bucks. If you don't know by now, Lee's is ca$h only. The only negative comment about this location was the lady kind of forgot about me. I came in for an iced coffee and she got food and drinks to 3 people after me before I was like "um, helloooooo"? Only then she like OMG and made my drink right away. No bueno.

  • Christina K.

I've been on a #11 combination sandwich crave wave!! Can't get enough of that crispy, fresh bread, pickled, crisp veggies, and assorted meats. I say assorted because I honestly don't know what the hell kind of meat is in there that I'm eating, but I like it a lot. Ha! The cilantro sprig and jalepenos give it a great kick. Just wish they'd put more jalepenos in mine. I would order the iced coffee more often because it tastes so scrumptious, but that crap tears up my stomach. That condensed cream man. TMI? Great, I've been putting off this review because I knew I'd end up craving that addictive sandwich again. Parking: Private lot. Prices: pretty cheap compared to most other places these days. Tip: Skip Subway and hit up Lee's!

  • Angela W.

This is definitely the smallest Lee's sandwich i've ever been to. It's nothing special but stuff tastes a little different. They didn't have the pate puff pastry like they do at the UCI one.. kinda disappointed.

  • Tiffany P.

Great viet iced coffee here, strong and rich! It's like crack and I'm addicted! The sandwiches are inexpensive (around $3 or so) and served on either fresh & crispy baguettes or soft croissants. Most of the sandwiches have viet "mystery meat" combos (ham jambon, etc.) with pate or you can go with the American meats (turkey, ham, etc.). My favorite part of the sandwiches are the pickled veggies (carrot, daikon radish, onions, cilantro and jalapenos). Try the BBQ pork, it's yum! The egg rolls here are also good, albeit, a little overpriced for what you get. Customer service is friendly. There's an ATM located inside Lee's or if you pay with credit/debit, there's a $10 minimum, or a .50 cent charge. At least they finally accept cards... kudos for gettin' up to speed Lee's!

    (4)
  • Melissa F.

Out of the many Lee's locations I've been to, this has got to be the worst one. Though it's not a typical Lee's, the service is very slow and gets crowded frequently. If the employees were more efficient in making the drinks and sandwiches, it would be a little bit better but because it is a Lee's and has a small staff, it results in poor performance. The food is good. The service blows.

Love that there is a Lee's sandwich is chino. I now don't have to drive into oc. I got some pate chaud and sandwiches catered for a birthday. The staff was really nice and helpful when I ordered. They were very prompt with my order. Food was very good. Everyone Loved it. Thanks

I came in with my family on a Thursday during lunch hours and I always wanted to try this place out. I've had no clue to what I wanted to order. The cashier welcomed me and explain what's in the sandwich. He was so passionate when he was explaining what was in the sandwich. My Mouth was drooling. So I ordered my family all grilled pork. The sandwich was really tasty and the service was excellent.i would definitely be back

Their iced coffee contains crack. Damn, I knew I should've gotten a large drink with my sandwich order. I was lucky enough to come in when the 'Hot Baguettes Now' sign was flashing and to my surprise, no one else inside during the lunch hour. Amazeballs. Left with two sandwiches and a reg. iced coffee for about 8 bucks and change. They now accept credit cards yet are subject to a charge of 50 cents for orders under $10. Best to keep the cash handy lest you plan on ordering more than what I did or don't mind the surcharge.

LOL worst Lee's I've ever been too. I guess they just can't do it like the ones in Garden Grove. The sandwiches are just okay. Nothing that makes you want more.

i love this place actually... i remember when they just opened this place in july ~ i was thrilled because i use to go to the one in westminister ... my fav are : special combination #11(i luv pate) bbq pork # 6 lee's combination # 1 (btw has only 350 calories) my fav drinks : chrysanthemum tea hot/cold iced coffee w/condensed milk thai tea is not bad here and it's so cheap & they have party platters that i.m sure would be a hit... you can also get fresh baguettes here for $1 and sometimes they have a special where you buy 10 and get 10 free but i always refuse because i would never need 20 baguettes @ once :)

Food is good and coffee ia great. But I asked the manager if i could have a little more coffee because my cup was filled to the brim with ice. She responded with attitude saying its only 6 ounces of coffee. Its a simple question get that stick out your ass.

This lee's is much much smaller than what I'm accustomed to so the lines can potentially get pretty unbearable. Luckily, I've always come down here at the most opportune times. I have had better banh mi's over my lifetime (20+ years to be exact) and I can surely say I've had better. My reason for always coming back here are 1) decent prices; 2) huge ass menu of varying items/drinks; 3) their bread is by far one of the better I've had. I always order my grilled pork sandwich with extra meat because they never put enough in there. The veggies they throw inside are a great compliment, but I always end up removing the cilantro. Deli manjoo's here aren't too good, but I order them because my tummy always tells me to. On a more memorable visit to Lee's, I grabbed a couple of their ready made items, a #5 (grilled pork banh mi), walked up to the counter, some siren type of sound went off and I was the lucky customer! Never knew that actually existed until that day. Got my entire order for free. Woot!

MMMM Sandwiches, how can you go wrong with sandwiches? So I always order the #11 Special Combination sandwich when I get here and I don't really know if I'll ever order anything else. It's yummy and hits the spot when I want a cold sandwich~ It's not very expensive and there's always plenty of parking so yay! And I love sitting outside and eating with my friends so I can feed the small birds that sit and wait for you to drop crumbs. They're always cute and chirp with fervor since they love sandwiches too!

ok ok ok I hear ya bout the long wait. The reason for the stellar review is for the coffee. I Love Lee's iced coffee. It's so strong and tasty that i have to hold myself back from finishing it. You have to let the ice melt when you sip your drink or you pretty much wasted your money coz the drink will be gone within seconds. I love the location as it's in a busy area but i still am able to find parking. It's strange they don't have seats inside and sad to say they have no wi fi which is strange coz all other lees have it. I talk to the manager but they said they tried and their locale makes it difficult to connect there. Their sandwiches are pretty good and affordable. However, you will definitely wait for it. I'm not going to penalize them on it coz they are still new. We will see in a few months from now. They are getting better as i don't wait like 25 minutes for it. I go here every week and sometimes just get the coffee to avoid the monstrous wait. My fave sandwich #2 (pork roll). I'm thinking of working here coz i come like twice a week AT LEAST.

This place is ok. The ones in rowland heights and orange county are definitely better in terms of sandwiches and customer service, but also better than the one in west covina. I go here if im in the area and craving me some Vietnamese sandwiches, but definitely not my first choice. and the facility is smaller than the others so expect to stand and wait for your orders. You can sit outside but the tables & seats are sometimes all full because theres a lot of different food chains here.

A few things: 1) The McDonalds of banh mis. 2) It doesn't take 35 minutes to make a smoothie. 3) My experience ordering a roast beef croissant was like ordering a burger and receiving sliders.

I usually go to the one on valley but since I am in Chino, I decided to give it a try. I Ordered the usual, #11 and a large iced coffee. Baguette was hard but lots of meat. The ice-coffee was really good. I think this location is pricier than other location!

FINALLY! After begging the hubby to pick up Lee's every time we were in Fullerton visiting the in-laws Lee's has invaded Chino Hills. Invaded in a good way. ;) You can't go wrong with $2.49 BBQ pork sandwiches. I always liked that the have a more "American" sandwich for the not so adventurous but I always jump in with both feet and get the Lee's Special in all its pate glory. Good stuff...good stuff people.

My kids and hubby love the bbq pork sandwiches here and I love the coffee. Sometimes well most of the time the coffee to ice ration is lacking, but if you let it sit for a half hour it mellows out the strength of the coffee and lasts longer LOL. the customer service is good and fast. Overall my stop over after we visit the dentist/orthodonist every three weeks.

Lee's fresh baguettes and fresh cold cuts are what make it amazing. This location was not as great as the one at West Covina Mall. Avocado and tomato were clearly cut at least 24 hours ago and not fresh. Also they ran out of eggs. If you don't mind driving, head to the one in West Covina!

i'll get right into it... this is probably the worst lee's sandwich store i've ever been to. the menu here isn't as extensive as the ones i've been to in garden grove, but they do offer the favorites. I ordered the grilled pork sandwich. The bread was tasty, but the pork was horrible. first, it was hella greasy and VERY fatty. i think there were more fat pieces than actual pork. i couldn't even finish the whole sandwich because of the greasy-ness. my hands looked like they were dunked in a bucket of grease. GROSS Also, the veggies weren't fresh. they didn't have the crispiness to them. more limp and mushy. Not sure if i went on an off day, but i def. wont be returning. Tip: this place is more pricier than other lee's sandwiches.

One of the best and cheapest sandwiches I have ever had, hands down. Grilled Pork Sandwich was the first Lee's sandwich I tried and it did not disappoint. I took out the jalapenos though bc i dont do spicy. I can already tell that this is one of those foods that I will crave dearly when I'm away at college again. Sigh. I got the Thai Iced Tea as well and I thought it was great, but then again I hadn't had it for so long so maybe I was biased. I'm sure some people would have found it to be too sweet though. You see, I have a sweet tooth that's basically unparalleled :D As for the wait, I went on a Thursday afternoon and there was virtually no line.

First off, I gave one star because it won't let me give half a star. Came in to order a special combo only to find out they are out of the house pickle. They ran out before 11am? Ridiculous! So we ask for extra cilantro and jalapeno and she replies with, "Yes, they are already doing it to make up for the lack of pickled daikon and carrots. She basically assumed because she didn't even bother to confirm with them and come to find they didn't add extra anything! Then we also ordered a chicken Pate chaud which was not chicken. It was pork! Also, I don't understand why service was so slow when they had three people in the back standing around while the line piles up. Very disappointed with this place. Next time I'll just drive the extra miles and get Lees elsewhere.

Cheap, but good sandwiches. My wife got me hook'd on this stuff, so we gotta at least go once every week haha. Glad they brought one out here closer to us, now we don't have to make that long mission to Santa Ana. Only thing that blows about this place is NO ATM!! Yes, they have one, but you gotta pay that small fee for using it and that my friend isn't worth it lol You could always go into Target or better yet, just stop at your bank and take out an "dub".

Great place to go for something healthy and light. They had entertainment Saturday night, was fun for the kids. They made wishes at the water fountain, danced to the lady singing and playing the guitar. It was nice. As for the food, I had the turkey and cheese, it was okay, nothing special. Iced coffee was great, first sip was like whooh! But once ice starts to melt, its great. Sometimes, it's not where you go but who your with that makes thing wonderful. Simple place for a simple meal.

Loves their coffee and meat balls sandwich! And cute waitress :) Out of all the Lee's i've been to (mostly in OC) this place provides the best customer service and quick too. The coffee came literally less than 1 minutes after order and my sandwhich came in less than 5 mins. Aweessommmeee!!

I love me some Lee's Sandwiches...but this place sucks! over 3 bucks for a Vietnamese sandwich? Please...also there's always 3-4 workers but nobody at the register half the time. They also take forever to get your food out. The only reason I come here is because the next closest one is Rowland Heights! Also, they close at some ridiculous early hour!

Ordered a Large Iced Coffee WITHOUT ice (because I had the coughs). They filled a large cup with coffee up to a third of the cup. When asked where the rest was, they told me the large coffee is only 8oz. 8oz for $3.85. What a rip off. Lady tells me that this is the same for all Lee's Sandwiches locations, they measure the amount of coffee / thai tea, etc that they give you. Stuff must be made of gold for them to be so stingy.

Nom Nom Nom... I give this place 5 stars because despite what others have said, I've never had a bad experience here. I love the hot baguettes; the smell, the taste, the crispiness on the outside, and the hot soft dough on the inside. My parents come here all the time to pick up baguettes for family gatherings and parties. My friends come here for the Lees sandwiches. I come here for their coffees, smoothies, sandwiches...you name it, I've tried it and I'm in loveee. The food is a gastronomic fantasia that delights all the senses. I love the fact that the service is quick and simple. The staff is professional, courteous, and attentive. Upon walking in the second time, Lisa (I think that's her name), welcomes me by my name and asks #1, extra jalepenos and veggies, and iced coffee again?! She remembered..but how?? I felt special, considering this place is like a fast food type place but the service they continue to provide to me, my family, and many others I know is just impeccable!! This place gets busy on the weekends so just call them ahead of time. They cater for parties as well. Gosh, writing this review is making me salivate. I think I'm gonn get me a Euro style'd croissant sandwiche...mmm. Go and try it, you'll see what I mean :)

Food was good, had the grilled pork baguette, shrimp & pork egg rolls, and watermelon smoothie w. boba. All very tasty and simple. No complaints other than the seating. No place to sit but outside. The prices were a lil higher than the pic someone posted but I would still return.

They have fresh baked baguettes every half hour and they are WONDERFUL! Seriously, I have to stop myself from eating a whole one every time. Everything is fresh and made to order. I've had their 2 vegetarian options and love both. The Veggie Avocado sandwich is packed with avocado - they really don't skimp. The fried tofu is suprisingly yummy (I dont normally like tofu at all). Baguettes are, again, amazing. Drinks are delicious as well - fresh and can be made to your specifications. The girls who work there are always friendly and polite. Cash only, so come prepared. Would be a full 5 stars but they are a bit expensive compared to similiar sandwich places, and parking can be brutal. Also, if you forget cash, their ATM machine charges an exorbiant fee (as usual). Also, the "Tip Jar" that they have out is a bit off-putting, since we're already paying a bit more than average for the food.

.., great sandwiches for cheap prices! It's nice to see a Lee's Sandwiches in this part of town. My gf & I came in the other day to check it out. Everything on the menu is ridiculously cheap. $10 here would take care of you nicely. Sandwiches here range around $4.97ish & up! I had the roast beef on a baguette. You can have your sandwich on a croissant as well. They had Thai Iced teas on deck too so you know I had to get that w/ boba. Their Thai Iced teas were a bit different though? Slightly watery w/ a totally different flavor. I kept thinking coffee when I'd come across the after taste. It was good though, & for $2.50 ish (I believe) whynot? If you're on a budget, or just hungry, check em' out!

I gave this Lee's Sandwiches a five stars without a doubt to get my yummy usual togo food here. I love their sandwiches, it's vietnamese sandwich that taste so crispy, and the sauce and meat taste juicy and just right. Their bread are fresh from the oven, you want to eat second after finish the first one. Their price are very cheap. I rather eat this than munch on mc. Donald's food and get heart attack easily, and it's not cheap everytime you buy a meal from any fast food restaurant. However, I like the customer service here at Lees, they are very nice and genuine to their customers. They would remember your name. It's a quiet environment and very clean. it's nice to chill outside with friends and add some delish bakery, oh dont ever miss out on their coffee. I get addicted to their coffee! It's so rich in taste and keep you awake at work. I love their eggrolls. Must get those. Oh and their avocado smooties are so good. I like how they have delivery service for a large party. You can order those mini cut sandwiches for group during meeting or party with family and friends. They delivered fresh and crispy just the way I expected. Yum yum. I want to go and get my usual there right now. :)

I love their baguettes!! Sometimes they can be really soft, like GOOD soft, omg I'd definitely give 5 stars. But sometimes they can be meh...kinda hard? But never as hard as most other viet sandwich places. My personal opinion, I don't like it when the bread's hard, it's frankly very annoying. But compared to other places, this one's the best, even when their bread's hard. I especially like the BBQ pork baguette. Extra patte (don't know if that's how you spell it?) sauce and a little extra mayo too. PERFECTION. But the best thing to come here for which can never go wrong is their BREAKFAST!! Ahhh!!! You have to try their breakfast croissants!! It kills me that they only serve them until 11am. BUT if they have extra eggs left they'll go over 11am, just ask. Their thai iced tea is good but sometimes it can be too milky so I think it's better to just stick to places that specialize in drinks. Don't waste money buying the thai iced smoothie, it tastes like a frozen thai iced tea but with less flavor because of all the ice. The taro smoothie on the other hand was pretty good, but I haven't tried taro iced tea there to compare it with. The price is good too. It averages around $3 for pretty much everything. And the customer service is really friendly and helpful. I usually call in for my order and whoever answers the phone is always considerate and never rushes me.

Best baguette hands down. They are known for their coffee but I've never been a coffee person. Large selection of sandwiches. Their smoothies are okay, but not a favorite.

Just moved back to Seattle and I've already got a craving for Lee's Sandwiches. This place is great when you're hungry and you don't want to spend much, 5-6 dollars easily gets you 2 big sandwiches. I usually get the #5, the pork is so tender and goes great with the freshly baked baguette. Only downside is that its cash only (but I think the entire chain is like that). Service isn't the greatest but hey you're only paying like 2-3 dollars per sandwich so thats totally ok. Try and come earlier in the day, sometimes if you go too late they run out off some of the condiments.

This is one those...4 stars for being the only Vietnamese sandwich shop in the area. If they had competitors around, it would be a different story. With that in mind, yay I am a fan because I can get my fix 5 mins from home. Their Vietnamese iced coffee is amazing ! Just don't read the nutrition facts or you will feel horrible drinking in all those calories and sugar. You get super strong coffee flavor coupled with the perfect milky sweetness from condensed milk for the best coffee drink ever. Their sandwiches are really good too. The meats inside are really juicy and the veggies are fresh and crisp. My only complaint is the bread. (Yes, it is a sandwich shop and I am complaining about the bread.) It is more on the chewy side. Most times after I am done eating my sandwich my temples hurt from chewing. Still good though and worth it for lunch. You can also order European sandwiches if you're not into the head cheese, pork roll, pate and other weird Asian stuff.

I can't personally vouch for anything here, but both my sister and my son LOVE their iced coffee. That said, if you walk in and ask for a "regular" coffee, it will not be what you expect. There is a reason they do not have sugar and creamer out for you use. It's because they put it in the coffee for you and it it SWEET. Like dessert sweet. I did not know they did this and had to pour mine out before I even took a sip. When she gave it to me, it smelled like chocolate so I asked her if she had already added sugar, etc. and she said yes. It was a bummer because I was running late and didn't have time to stop at another place for 'normal' coffee. Their bread looks absolutely delicious so maybe next time I'll just stick to the carbs. ;)

I recently tried this place for the first time, and I am now a regular. I dont know exactly what they put in these sandwiches, but I am addicted! I usually get the #27 with provolone cheese. mMmmm yummy! Service is good and the wait isnt bad at all. Prices are awesome and you don't have to spend an arm and leg just to get full... but, the one downer is that its cash only. I mean come on, let's get real... who carries cash with them at all times? They do have an ATM inside for those who dont bring cash, but i recommend you just bring your own cash. The sandwiches are cheap, but if you use their ATM then you will be spending more than you should because of the ATM fee. All in all, I still can't complain. What can I say? I love me some Lee's Sandwiches. :]

I tried this place for the first time yesterday. Of course I read the good and bad comments before coming here, and quite frankly I don't know why there's any bad comments. Okay, the bread is hard blah blah blah. I think it's perfect the way it is. The ice coffee has enough really good too, dare I say better than Starbucks. Prices, are awesome! You don't need to spend more than ten bucks to get full here. I'm one of them poor college students, and I appreciate a good deal. Get number 5...

This was my first experience with any Lee's and I'm a huge fan now! I have heard people talking about Lee's Sandwiches for a while, so when they opened in Chino Hills, I made a metal bookmark to try it out; I'm sorry that it took me so long to get here, it was a great sandwich! This past Saturday the NomNom truck was making a stop in Ontario for lunch, so I figured we'd go try it out, my wife has never eaten from NomNom before, and I had only eaten there one time. When we showed up, the line was waaaay too long, not worth waiting 30 minutes in my opinion, let alone the approximately hour 30 they were estimating. We decided we were pretty much half way to Lee's already, let's go try that instead! I'm glad we made the trip out to Chino Hills. I haven't eaten in the Spectrum center in a few years. We used to live in South Ontario and come to this center more often, but not since we've moved to Rancho. We got one of the bbq pork and one grilled pork to try, and they were delicious! The bread is awesome! I know why this is the standout feature of Lee's, it's toasty and crusty, and perfect! The pork was great both ways. The bbq pork was like Chinese style and flavorful and tender, and the grilled pork was more like shredded pork. I love all of the pickled veggies inside, and the cilantro, I'm a cilantro freak! I'll eat cilantro on anything! The price is super cheap, each of the sandwiches were $2.97, and more than a good value, they were a steal! They sell the baguettes alone for $1 each too, which is great! They advertise that the bread is baked fresh every 30 mins and they have a "Hot" sign they light up like Krispy Kreme when the bread is fresh. We didn't try out any of the coffees this time around, but next time we come we will, and I really want to try to Lee's combination with headcheese and jambon and pate. I just wasn't feeling that adventurous this past Saturday I guess.

I want to love you. I really do. I mean, I'm Vietnamese, you're Vietnamese, and we're both stuck in this cowland together. I thought we would be the best of friends! I'm know you're still young, but can you step it up?! Last time my brother was there, he came home with the wrong order. I stopped by today, and the wait was so loooooooong. I saw a croissant sandwich sitting there. Not sure if it was mine or not, I waited patiently. Maybe it was for a different order? I see someone in the back tell one of the girls that the order was done. One of the girls picks it up, moves it 3 trays down, and puts it down again. Another girl then tells the customer before me that her croissant sandwich was ready, that they are waiting for another sandwich to come out. The customer tells them that she already got those sandwiches. So it was mine! Um...okay...can I have my sandwich already?! I think it was a good 10 minutes from the time the sandwich was ready until I got it : / Besides the wait time, I never seem to get any warm baguettes. Do I just come at the wrong time?

My boyfriend and I were pretty excited to find out a Lee's was opening up here in Chino Hills. We'd gone to the one in Buena Park before so it's nice to have one so close to home. Love that it's very affordable here and sandwhiches are good. BBQ pork ftw! And taro smoothie, mmm yumm. However some days the wait is very minimal and some days you have to wait in line to order your food then wait some more for it to come. I feel its a bit too small too, maybe If it were bigger and had more workers, our food would come out much faster! But other than that love this place :)

I can see why this place can get crowded. The shop is small but the sandwiches pack a punch. Good prices! We arrived before the lunch crowd and saw the lunch crowd come in. It looks like they have extra staff which is why we had our sandwiches in less than 5 minutes. The sandwich bread was perfect, hard and crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. We had the grilled pork sandwich which has tender meat and the peppers packed the perfect kick. Great sandwiches, will be back again.

Been to a couple of lees sandwiches in my area 626 . And comparing this joint to most lees joint in my area yeah it's kinda of small but I guess it's cause this mall is limited to its lease capacity. Any who's, the food is as good as comparing it down my area and the employees are super nice unlike much lee they kinda of just get your order and kinda hurry and bushes you off so you can be on your way . But I didn't get that here. And today was my lucky day cause I came on their 3th year anniversary and got my iced coffee for .99 cents and a photo booth(i passed on the photo booth). Will definitely come back with friends (:

Lee's Sandwiches has been a favorite of mine for a LONG time. Since my move to Pomona I haven't been able to get to one... so YELP came to the rescue I found one in Chino, just 15 min away. As always I got my #1 choice... combo, #11. I always get it with extra veggies. I took my honee for the first time and he enjoyed it. The fresh warm bread was his favorite. I also picked up extra baguettes for home and it was gone w/in 3 days. In order to keep fresh, cut up and leave in a zip loc bag.

I was driving through the Chino and Chino Hills today, got a bit peckish, and stopped at Lee's Sandwiches. I've eaten at a few different Lee's locations and thought this would be a good bet. Boy was I wrong! I ordered two sandwiches and two large coffees. Then came the wait... In the meantime I started watching all the action in the shop. Lee's has lots of employees, but they seemed to be doing a whole lot of nothing. I usually go to the Garden Grove location which is run like a sandwich sweatshop -- stuff comes out quick. Today, not so much. A few employees were sitting outside at the first table. One of them, apparently the manager, came in and took a guy out to conduct an interview of a potential employee. Someone else to stand around and do nothing! Lots more people came in to order sandwiches, smoothies, egg rolls, various other things... they all came and went happily clutching their Lee's bags. The interview ended and the manager sat down at her table outside again to gossip with her friend. Still no sandwiches. I had number 71. 72, 73, 74. No sandwiches. So I went up to the counter and asked when my order was going to come up. "Oh, you ordered grilled chicken. We had to make more." Oh, OK, back to my viewing perch. 75, 76, 77. Loud Taiwanese guy talking on his cell phone stands next to me. Frankly, dude, I don't care to hear you telling your friend how cool Chino is now, "much better than Rowland Heights!" Seriously? 78, 79, 80. Finally, 71! So I go up and the employee tells me, "Sorry, they lost the ticket." Funny, I thought you said they had to cook more chicken...By that time I had been standing in Lee's for 24 minutes. So I went home with my sandwiches -- a 50 minute drive. And they sucked. The grilled chicken was all right... but the bread was doughy and undercooked. I mean, I could pop a better bread out of a Poppin' Fresh can. Needless to say, the Chino Lee's Sandwiches won't be seeing me again.

Food: Good Customer Service: Bad I continue to come back to Lee's because their food is very inexpensive and tasty. I love their Asian sandwiches, especially the grilled chicken one. However, their customer service was poor and continues to be poor at this location in particular. I get the feeling by looking at the staff that there may be alot of nepotism involved in their hiring process. Many of the people working there seem to be inexperienced. It took me 10 minutes to order a passion fruit drink because the girl taking my order couldn't tell the difference between a beverage and a smoothie. I had to explain to her the difference between the two as she insisted that they ONLY made smoothies as the menu with smoothies AND beverages was shining behind her. I'd never seen someone so dumb. I was so frustrated that I almost left until another employee with more some sense assisted me and gave me what I ordered. Also a big inconvenience: they don't accept atm/credit cards. Get with the times already! If the sandwiches we'rent so good, I wouldn't go back.

I discovered this place a while back in Artesia. I always made it a point to stop by when I was in the area. Then I discovered they opened one in Chino. I about broke my neck doing a double take driving by! I flipped a "B" and headed straight back to get an ice coffee. I like the sandwiches, but it seems like I'm the only one that orders the sardines baguette sandwich. It's not always available. If your feeling adventurous, try the sardines! You will either love it or hate it.

I've never been to a Lee's Sandwiches that gives out free samples of their smoothies. They were giving out banana smoothie samples and it tasted AMAZING. It's very addicting. Despite the amazing taste, I ended up getting a mango smoothie which the cashier recommended. Super refreshing for this 100 degree weather. Haven't tried out the sandwiches, will update when I do.

Was expecting a decent wrap. It was very plain, when I placed my order. I asked which one came with breast meat. I was told the Tuscan pita. I guess if leg meat is white., it is close enough. The wrap was salty. I will not be back.

Gosh darnit! this place was CRACKIN' on opening day! So worth the wait for the Euro Asian tasty sandwiches! Get the Lee's Iced Coffee! It'll have you going for a few hours! ($2.25 for a medium cup) i want LEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!!! :P

Good eatin' and reasonable prices. Although it doesn't match the true authentic Banh Mi Thit down in Chinatown or in the mom & pop sandwich shops in SGV, but that's okay. This one only appears to have outdoor seating since they took over Sugar Canes that went out of business. Long wait today since everyone was out for the 4th all day long and they had shortened hours. Creature of habit and ordered the #11 Special Combination just like I always do. Since they're a lot closer to D Bar now, we'll be heading over there a lot more often. Next time I'll be a little bit more adventurous and try something else.

I love this place. Maybe because I somehow one a free meal on my first visit? ;D Baha. I was the 94th customer and bells start ringing, literally. My meal was free! Free = +4 stars right away. Hahaha. I give this place 5 stars because the food and the service is great. The manager is very friendly and loves to give out samples of smoothies constantly, which is cute. I always get the BBQ grilled pork, it's the best, in my opinion. The vegies are so fresh and the bread...delicious. I'll come here over and over and over again. It's a bonus that it's near my school! :)

Came here on a Monday afternoon and what a wait. I waited for almost 40mins before my sandwich was made. This place was so busy. So unless you have a lot of time to spare, don't come here during lunch hour. The sandwich overall is a typical Lee's sandwich = yum.... The 3 stars rating is mainly for the loooong wait...

Food was good, but way to expensive for the size of the sandwich. There were barely any veggies and meat. I would rather go to subway or Vons to get a good sandwich. I also got a Thai iced tea and that was also expensive, it was almost $4, I can get one from Lucky Star Chinese Food in Chino for $1 and it tastes way better. I am glad I tried Lee's, but my husband and I wont be back.

Sandwiches are delicious when the bread is freshly made. Can't beat the price of 2.50 per sandwich. But they do keep raising the price every now and then. It used to be 1.50 five years ago. Their coffee and boba drinks are also worth a try. Remember to bring cash cause they don't accept cards and seating is really limited inside the place. They only have three seats inside.

Love their fresh dollar baguettes. Bang mi sandwiches are just ok compared to the legit and authentic in the San Gabriel valley. The bread for the sandwiches are sometimes too hard to eat and I end up cutting the roof of my mouth. Love the fresh baguettes lol

It's Lee's. As I've been told, Lee's is kind of like McDonald's. I don't really care. I love Banh Mi sandwiches (I get the grilled chicken one) and will continue to get them no matter who is selling them, especially when the sandwiches are all under $4. If you call in ahead of time, it'll save you time. Just pay and pick up and eat.

Pros: - Their sandwiches are cheap and tasty. - Iced coffee is the best! Cons: - I wish they were open at 6am so I can buy their coffee on my way to class. - Their avocado shake hardly tastes like it has avocado in it because of all the ice they put in it. I used to go to the Lee's Sandwiches in Rosemead and I love love love their avocado shake. - Their sandwiches are smaller than usual but not quite as small as the Torpedos from Quiznos. So now, instead of buying only 1 sandwich, I end up buying 2. Still better than Subway though.. - They still need to fix the kinks in their system. It feels like there's too many workers in the back running into each other and the food takes longer to prepare. Overall, I'm happy Lee's is so close to my house but there's still room for improvement and once they do improve I'll be glad to change my rating.

Compare to other Lee's I've been to, this place have the best service so far. People work there were very friendly and helpful. The baguettes were at reasonable price and had more meat than other Lee's. My orders came out quick while there was quite a few customers.

Oh man, where do I begin with the complaints...they randomly raise the prices, they charge you a fee to use a credit card, if you are by yourself and order just a single sandwich you get a response of that's it!!!! The place has ill mannered high school teen girls as employees who are more busy saying "like you know whatever" to each other... Very cheap third class run operation, I am a big fan of lee's but this location gets a F- .......

OMG! At last I finally found these kind of baguettes. first time ive had these was way way back in sydney... still undecided what to order so i just picked their lee's combination baguette and no regrets, i enjoyed every bite of it! it has fresh ingredients, love the pate and crisp bread just the way i like it. for sure ill be coming back and try the other baguettes! i also had their iced coffee. the coffee is ok, taste is somewhat similar to nescafe iced coffee.. with lots of ice on it. the only sad part is i paid an extra $2 at the atm to get cash since they don't accept credit cards. moral lesson: bring cash

I had been anticipating in trying the food in the well-known Lee's Sandwiches. Thank God I don't have to drive many miles just for a banh mi or a cup of iced Vietnamese coffee. However, my anticipation decreased after trying their foods. Back in Westminster Lee's, I tried their strawberry smoothie, and it was not too bad. However, trying the food was a different story. I ordered the grilled pork sandwich, and it was just so-so. The baguette was hot and crisp, and the veggies were fresh, but the grilled pork was a bit too sweet. The mayonnaise melting on the pork did not help my palate either. The iced Lee's coffee was okay, but also a bit too sweet. I think this chain altered their tastes to cater more to the American palate, not the Vietnamese palate.... Or maybe I need to order another kind of sandwich.....

As reading the other reviews, the majority consists about the food, and less about their customer service. Which was in very poor quality. The staff and cooks are barely at a high school level and there seemed no management whatsoever. It took forever for my order to be ready, about 3 people who ordered after me, received their orders before my order was completed. You also would think, that when you order a drink they first give that to their customers as they wait, NOT at all! As i was waiting for my order as for the other paying customers, the cashier girl was socially talking to the cooks as she could of been preparing our drink orders. To top it all off my order was undercooked! Worst experience ever!

disappointed. doesn't live up to the lee's standard i've become accustomed to. closes way too early. that's really my only beef with this place.

Love the #1 Combo sandwich. The meat and bageuttes are always fresh. The iced coffee is like liquid speed. It will definitely get your heart pumping.

This was my first time at Lee's. Even though there wasn't an employee in the front, it only took the cashier a few seconds to notice me in the store. The friendly cashier made me feel comfortable ordering even though I was skeptical in choosing a sandwich. In less than a minute, she had my sandwich ready and I was out the door! I was completely satisfied with my grilled chicken sandwich because the pickled veggies and meat were scrumptious! I paid $3.33 (including taxes) which is around a dollar cheaper than a Subway chicken sandwich. I will definitely be back to try the other sandwiches!

Me, my sisters, and my boyfriend love love this place. Recently I have been getting the grilled chicken which is honestly AMAZING!! I usually get bbq pork which is also good but right now my taste buds are digging the grilled chicken. I can never go wrong with Lees. Workers are very nice. The iced coffee at Lees is really good. I even buy the 5 dollar bottled coffee so I can make some at home so when I don't have time to go over there I can make it. It's very tasty and keeps me energized all day.. I will be having Lees a lot this semester. Some people complain about the amount of Iced coffee/drinks they give you and ask for "less ice" but they measure the amount of coffee mixture so don't get angry when your cup is NOT FULL. I mean really.. their coffee is very strong and im sure that if it was all coffee ( less ice or no ice) then you would not sleep for days. Like this man was throwing a fit because he asked for less ice (only because he knew they put a lot of ice and was hoping they would add more coffee in it) and was giving the workers a hard time and even got the manager involved... i mean come on.. for like a cup of iced coffee that is like 2 something dollars...? its not starbucks. If one cup is not enough then buy another one. anyway I highly recommend this place to any one who has not tried it yet. really good for like after school or lunch. cheap and delicious.

I had never heard of Lee's before nor did I ever know there was such a thing as a Vietnamese sandwich, let alone on French bread but these little things are pretty darn good!! Kind of hard to describe but they have this spicy pickled vegetable filling that I really like! They also have some pretty decent charbroiled pork and beef sandwiches that are good as well. And the prices are ridiculously cheap...i think it's like $3 for a sandwich. Granted, they are small and you probably need to eat two of them....still, quite a bargain. I say give it a try!!

Don't buy coffee in this store, go to Starbuck for the best value, taste, and service. Dripp at the Shoppe Chino Hills is another coffee shop. I spent almost $4 for 8oz plastic cup full with ice cubes almost to the top. Very disappointed. Told all friends, relatives and colleagues not to go to lee's anymore!

Ok, I have to be absolutely honest in my grading, and this is purely based on a need and lack of consistency in fulfillment. This is the break down of my experience at THIS particular location in reflection of Lee's Sandwich as a whole (as each Lee's Sandwich location offers a different experience and staff). Drinks: 4.5 Stars As expected at a homogenized franchise location. I got exactly what I expected at the price I expected. They would get a complete 5 stars if they didn't add so much ice to their signature Lee's Coffee/Cafe Sua Da Food: 3 Stars I ordered a breakfast croissant (Eggs, Cheese, Ham and Bacon). Not stellar, and the size left much to be desired, but overall decent quality. I typically like my eggs seasoned more and my ham not so salty, but at least it balanced each other out. As for being a Euro-Asian fusion establishment, I thought the croissant was meh. Service: 2 Stars Generally the staff was nice, but just like the croissant, left much to be desired. This is a small branch and should more aptly be named "Lee's Sandwich: Express" as there is no table sitting inside. The only reason I mentioned the size is the fact that I waited more than 2 minutes before someone took my order. Mind you, there wasn't a line, and there were about two orders waiting to be picked up ahead of my order. Instinctively with my previous customer service background, walking in without being greeted is a red flag to poor customer service, and it doesn't help when no one looks up either from what they are doing. Establishment/Ambiance: 1 Star Again I have to point out that this is a smaller Lee's Sandwich than I am used to. I am from Orange County, and am surrounded by Vietnamese coffee shops and bakeries, so the Chino Hills branch was a change for me. They get one star for cleanliness, but the demerits are for the size and lack of consistency in what Lee's typically offers (and is advertised on their door). I like to think of Lee's as a cost effective alternative to Panera's, and on a lighter side, Starbucks. As perhaps one of the most successful Asian American food chains, they have superseded expectations, and thus are more accountable for their advertising. In this sense, the better business move would have to established this particular store as a to-go or "express" store, as it doesn't accommodate the typical cafe/eat-in like most Lee's. Secondly, they advertise Lee's Free Wi-fi (a branded hotspot), yet do not offer any internet access to customers. When asked about their Wi-Fi, the curt response by the employee was "we don't have that here." Interesting, considering you advertise it plainly on your door. I am not sure there is a bathroom for customers either since I didn't need the facility. Total: 2.5 Stars All in all, this is a Lee's Sandwich, which means you'll get the consistency in food, from their delivered par-baked baguettes to their pre-mixed traditional Vietnamese iced coffee. I personally enjoy my iced coffee stronger and baguettes fresher from a small mom n' pop in Little Saigon (or a smaller competitor such as Gala Bakery or Paris Baguettes). But if you are out of OC looking for a Lee's for some food to go, you've got it.

I have been a Lee's Sandwich fan long before this location open. This place however is the friendliest location. Coffee is great and YES they put a lot of ice because the coffee is sooo strong. I have purchased they concentrated frozen version and I also put a lot of ice before serving it to myself. Their Vietnamese sandwiches are inexpensive and delicious. I usually order # 1 or #11 with their Vietnamese cold cuts and a touch of liver paste, jalapeño, cilantro, pickled radish and carrot.

I am chomping down on my #11 special combination sandwich and washing it down with a cherry Italian soda. This place is Amazing I often stop at other ones on my way to work. I am very excited that this place is 2 minutes away from me and FINALLY open. If you are a coffee person go there and get a coffee it will blow you mind. I went in right before closing and it was packed and the bread was still warm.

This place is hit or miss. There's been times where I had to wait forever just to get a cold sandwich. Other times, its made just right. Get with the program Lees! Make your customers happy and make your sandwiches right ALL the time. Not to much to ask right? Also, your employees should know which condiments you do and don't have. I asked if you had ketchup or Saracha sauce and everyone just scratched their heads! Hope my next sandwich is a good one because you're running my patience thin!

They need to hire more workers or something the wait is just too long. I would only go back for the ice coffee.

There sandwiches are good. Bread was served nice and warm. It does get a little crowded here which is it's usual down fall. The boba here is really good I especially like the Avocado boba and they use fresh Avocado's which is always a plus. Always worth the visit when the line isn't too long

I come here for the baguettes. They are only a dollar a piece. It taste great when they pull them right out of the oven. The sandwiches are okay. They are a little pricey at this location. If you've been to the one in Westminster, you'll know what I mean.

    (3)
  • Lori E.

I love their food but will stick to other locations. They gave me cold egg rolls and when I said I wanted different ones they dropped the old ones back in the oil to re-fry them. I refused to accept those. When I complained to someone about the service they just stared at me and didn't offer any type of apology.

Is it me or there prices are slowly itching up? Only place I know that you can get a banh mi in the area that isn't a sit down place. Average tasting but still relatively cheap.

Really love the sandwiches here, good size and great price. This location does take credit cards even though a number of the others don't. Fresh baked bread is really good and the $1 bag for day old baguettes is a deal!

OMG DEEEEWWiiiCCiiouss.. Can't go wrong here.. Baguettes and croissants sandwiches along with milk tea bobas.. woooahh.. I love it.. its about time that they brought Lees nearby my work.. MmMMM.. I, like many other reviewers, was very excited that there's finally a Lee's closer to me. I was excited for the iced coffee, which I really like. But other than the coffee itself, I didn't particularly like the sandwiches. This was the first time I had a Lee's sandwich with pate. I got the pork with pate sandwich. The bread was cold and hard, which was I wouldn't have minded so much had their pate not tasted like crap. The pate was the thing I was looking forward to most. But the texture was way too grainy. I know that the other Vietnamese sandwich places in Orange County don't exactly use top quality pate, I never had pate like this. The flavor was so bland that I would probably liken it to dirt. I was sorely disappointed by their sandwich but I gave three stars because I like the iced coffee a lot.

  • Jeffrey R.

1st time i went, they had no bread..... went back for a 2nd chance and was glad I did.. The bread was outstanding and the price was awesome. My wife and I had 2 ice coffee's, 2 sandwiches all for less than $15.00. Well, worth it. the insides of the snadwiches are typical except they really use fresh vegetables and the avacado is fresh and abundant.. definitely a plus. It knocks Subway out of the park.... I plan on eating here regularly....Oh yea, the ice coffee was awesome...

Been at the Grand Opening, a lot of people came and celeberate. I did not know we have a lot of Asian around Chino Hills. Coffee is great, and a lot of choices for lunch. Seem like they did not keep up with the demand. Long line but we are happy since couple young ladies walked around to make people feel OK while waiting for their orders. Came back the day after, still a lot of people at lunch time. Pricing is affordable that should be a plus in this economy.

Was there a few days after opening day. Busy, busy, busy.... A lot of newbies floating around. Great sandwiches and coffee for the price! Wish they would offer some kind of special for the grand opening but I didn't see any. I really like their baguette breads, nothing beats a loaf fresh out of the oven!

It took forever for my sandwich.. There were two other customers before me and this was in the morning.. They forgot one guy coffee .. The other dude waited 20 minutes for one sandwich.. I waited 10-15 minutes for coffee. I rather go to the one in rowland heights. Tsk tsk
