I can't get enough of this place! By far one of my favorites. If you are ever craving Mongolian BBQ, you really need to try this place out, I guarantee you'll be back for more! Affordable, clean, healthy, and it's ALL YOU CAN EAT! Dinner buffet for two, comes out to about $35. That includes beverages... It's a hidden gem... I've lived in the area a long time, but didn't discover this place until maybe a year ago.

I found it! The Holy Grail of Mongolian BBQ! I've been desperately craving Mongolian and I'm glad I stumbled upon this place after moving to the area. The intense pleasure of Mongolian without having to deal with the mall parking lot and shoving your way through a crowded mall. Friendliest off staff and tastiest of food. Top takeout! Might be part of my Sunday ritual, I'll be back!

Ever since the Umami Mongolian place by my house closed, I've been searching for a great AYCE place that had the same amount of flavor. Here we go! This place is delicious and affordable. The prices vary by what day you visit them (you pay more for weekends) and what time you visit them (you pay more for dinner). But even if there's a wait when you walk in, they seat you promptly, and tend to your table quickly. I love the selection they have here for your bowls... proteins include pork, chicken, lamb and beef. Not only do they have noodles, they have plenty of veggies for you to pile on. At the end of the row, they have tons of different sauces along with a "cheat sheet" depending on your preference of sauce. Always go for the spicy... it's delicious. The guys working the grill are fast and efficient. It's kinda fun to watch your food get cooked right in front of you while the two guys kind dance around each other. Haha. If you're vegetarian or allergic to anything, just let them know, and they'll make accomodations. They clean the grill after every 8-10 plates too. They also have a few cooked items in a small buffet area - my favorite are the veggie egg rolls. Everything else I've tried is meh... but if that's your thing! I always tell myself I'll get another bowl but I never have space... Maybe one day.

Among the three Mongolian BBQ AYCEs I've been too, I think Caesars sits comfortably at number two. Caesar's has the best quality of meat among the three. I was really pleased with the quality of meat and the cleanness of the establishment. The service at Ceasar's is top-notch. They do not leave idle-time between them and the customer's wants and needs. I never once had to ask for the removal of empty plates, extra condiments, or more water during my visit to Caesar's. So why, why would I give them three stars? Overall Taste is not there. First off, One of the primary features of a Mongolian BBQ place AYCE that always grabs my attention is the sauce bar. To me, meat and veggies can be sourced all the same for restaurants, but the selection of sauces, and the temperature of the wok/cooking surface makes a huge difference at each establishment. Here is where Caesar's falls short. Their sauces have virtually no flavor-imparting ability. It might as well be black food coloring in water. The more sauce I add, it doesn't even contribute to the saltiness of the dish at all. The only item that changes the taste of my dish at all, I found, was the hot chili oil. Besides that, my dishes would turn out very underwhelming and bland. Very disappointing. The cooking surface they use to cook the food is different from the other Mongolian places I've been to. The food here does not cook long enough or on a hot enough surface to create that "Maillard reaction" I enjoy tasting in my food (fancy way of saying crispy cooked tasted). Although I understand that some people just want their food heated, but I wish they would ask me for options on the cooking method, so I can enjoy how I like my food, a little crisped up with the fats drawn out from the beef. Secondly, I do not enjoy their offerings at the hot food bar. There's only one item I'd eat from there, and ironically, it's not even a hot food item. Their pink tapioca pudding is not bad. A curiously sweet product that washes down a lot of the strong flavors left after eating a fill of Mongolian BBQ.

I have always loved Mongolian food and I always go to Genghis Khan in the mall. So naturally when I heard about this place and I got a whole bunch of recommendations I decided to take my boyfriend and I to try this place out. I wish it was a little closer but it definitely was worth the drive. It was in a nice little plaza and the place looks really nice inside. I really like that we were greeted as soon as we stepped into the restaurant and this place wasn't packed either. Were seated right away and got our drinks right away. Then we were done we tried an array of different ingredients to make our Mongolian BBQ plate. I really regret not coming here on a super empty stomach. I ended up only eating one plate. But it was still worth the price because we only paid $12.95 a person. The taste of the food was on point and the ingredients were all fresh. The employees were extremely nice and I couldn't ask for better service. Everyone has to try this place out.

Always come here on occasion( bern coming here for years...just forget to check in) Food is good..my daughter likes this place because of the concept of the food being prepared mostly by yourself. YOU pick the Meats, Veggies and Sauce. YOU CREATE what you eat;) ..PRINCESS loves it and WE love it to...this place is on my 'Rotation of Restaurants' :)

I love all types of BBQ and today, experiencing Mongolian BBQ, only fueled that love even more. Being all you can eat bbq was dangerously delicious! $10.95 for lunch on a Sunday is a pretty sweet and filling deal. For those who don't know what it is, this is how it's done: (1) Fill bowl with frozen, thinly sliced, raw meat of your choice. Yes, that sounds (and looks) weird but do not worry. My brother said the meats differ on days and whether it's lunch or dinner service. We came for Sunday lunch and there was choice of pork, lamb, beef & chicken. (2) Fill said bowl next with vegetables. (3) Top that with noodles. But there's also rice, if you'd prefer. (4) I was recommended to douse the bowl in at least 4 scoops of the various sauces. There was House Base, Ginger, Lemon, Curry, Mild, Spicy, Sweet, etc. 4 scoops keeps your dish moist and flavorful when it gets cooked. (5) Hand bowl over to the one of the 2 cooks and watch them stir it up on the huge griddle in a few minutes. Once it's done, they put it in a nice plate for you to enjoy. Voila! Bowls of goodness, to your liking! I went back three times and each time, I mixed it up a little, changing up the meat combos and sauces. On my third (and final) plate, I skipped on the noodles and just had a big ass bowl of meat and veggies. I was tempted to do a fourth round but I knew it would be overkill. The place is spacious, clean and the waitresses are fast at taking away your plate before you embark on your next round. The cooks clean the griddle every 8-10 plates. The bad part to that is having to wait until they're ready (it apparently takes 10-15mns) but on the bright side, it gives you time to rest between your rounds! I will definitely be returning to this spot when I'm in a fat ass mood.

This restaurant is the bomb! The food is fresh, delicious and they have a great variety of anything you could possible want for your bowl. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and bright. I have been to a couple real dungeons seeking this authentic taste. All of the staff are great and friendly people. They are very attentive and never let your drink run out or ask if you need anything. This is our favorite place to go, and we have been there...I cannot count.

Pros: - Good selection for Mongolian bbq section - fast & friendly service - clean establishment - not overly noisy - shrimp chips - good price for all-you-can-eat Mongolian Cons: - could use another section of non-Mongolian food (i.e. dessert, soups) - no cocktail menu

Ok now this is a fav of mines..... I love how everything looks fresh an taste fresh anyone in Lakewood,Ca needs to make there way to Pioneer and Del Amo because you will not be disappointed.

The ingredients are fresh and your food will come out tasty if you go easy on the sauce. They do have a "dessert bar" and fried rice and a couple other fried things (nothing special here). The soup and eggrolls were flavorless. Of the 2ish hours of dining, they did not refill the fried rice once, even with over an hour until closing time. The price here is decent, but, for around the same price, you can take your money over to China Buffet in the Fullerton Metro and enjoy Mongolian bbq+buffet. The staff were friendly. They sang me a birthday song and gave me a sliced orange along with four extra fortune cookies. Overall, I don't think I'll be back though.

Love this place! The BF and I were craving some mongolian bbq so we stopped by here on the way back to San Diego. Omg what a good deal! It's AYCE so go hungry!! Unfortunately my stomach was feeling like a baby and I could only eat 1 plate but man it was good! Saw this old couple there that seemed like they're regulars and they were on their second plate by the time we were done. So impressive. Definitely recommend this place

  • Julie L.

I always try to get there earlier than later because it gets packed during the peak hours. I've never had a problem with the table...its just that there is only 2 chefs, so the cooking line tends to back up. They were amazing about me bringing my toddler & accomodating. He probably ate his body weight in noodles...we love this place! The sauces are a plenty and there's a cheat sheet on what ratios to use depending on what flavour you are going for. I love their pre-made sides, fried wonton appetizers & jello & fruit for the dessert options. Not the largest variety but enough to complement the DIY main dish. If you're in the area & in the mood for mongolian, this is a definite "to try!"

This restaurant is an all you can eat/buffet type place and the food is only as good as YOU can make it. So the food quality is only determined by how you pick and choose your ingredients, the cooks are more than qualified to make you a good plate. Despite being a self-service buffet type grill, the services rivals that of most other restraunts. I was greeted by a smile, sat down, asked for a water, then went to get my food. Shortly after coming back, the waitress asked if I needed anything, to which I said no. In the 38 mins I spent there, my water cup was never empty (I drank alot) and an empty plate was never lingering on my table for more than a min. The chefs who cook your selection of meat were also great. The older cook had a silent but kind feel to him, like my grandfather wanted to make me lunch or something, and not to mention his skill at the grill. The younger cook was far more vocal and would constantly ask things like "How are you?" He was pretty nice and everyone assembling their food was pretty glad that he was there. Overall the only problems I had involved being alone and taking this place for granted earlier. I paid $15 for a great 4 plate meal and great service. They deserve these 5 stars

Decided to try Mongolian BBQ for lunch so stopped by a couple of days ago. Standard AYCE create your own masterpiece kind of place with 3 stations in a T formation. The main long horizontal station has all the meats, vegetables and sauces to select along with two smaller stations with soup, rice and desert. The quantity of items available is huge, but their quality is severely lacking. Most of their vegetables were limp. The broccoli seemed to have been body slammed by a WWE wrestler and I'm positive that the onions were actually tortured in some secret location. The meat (chicken, beef and pork) was fine and as it is ACYE you can pile it on. The sauces were just Mehhh with nothing standing out but all doing their job well. The hot and sour soup was average, but I kind of liked the pineapple fried rice. I was so stuffed after two rounds that I could not eat any desert. My friends feedback was that I did not miss much as the jelly was pretty plain. Service was fast and attentive and our used plates were cleared pronto. Price wise its $8.99 + tax per person so its very reasonable. Lastly they accept cards but with a minimum of $15 so it is cash only for all practical purposes. Overall not bad if you want to stuff yourself silly on create your own chow mien but nothing more than that.

We visited this joint 9-10 yrs ago and it was just "ok". They had limited sauce selection, poor service, and the place was dark and dingy. 2-3 stars at best. However, our recent visit was refreshing! New owners have spruced the place up and added a ton of stuff to the food selection line. They had at least 12 sauces to choose from as well as tons of fresh veggies and 4 varieties of meats. They also had tofu which a lot of places don't have. About $13 per person for adults and about $8 per person for little people. $2.50 for a refillable drink. We left feeling satisfied, full, and ready to return! Enjoy! P.S. they have wierd hours like 11-2 and 5-9. So, make sure you are visiting during lunch or dinner cuz if you want a snack between the two they might be closed.

I have eaten at a lot of variations of Mongolian BBQs and this one by FAR is the beasto rive been too. They have a great selection of different veggies and sauces to add to the stir fry noodles and also have a separate buffet area for things like rice and sweets. yummy! the waiters are very kind; always checking in and refilling waters. Meanwhile the restaurant itself is very clean and well-maintained.

The best Mongolian BBQ in Lakewood!! Service is top notch and they never leave empty plates or glasses unfilled. You chose the meats and veggies you want along with all the different sauces and you got yourself a delicious bowl. You can ask the chefs to cook your food the way you like it. Well done or just cooked enough to enjoy. They also have other items as well. Fried Rice, soup, egg rolls, desserts etc...Please go you will not be disappointed!!

This is by far, one of my favorite restaurants! The service is impeccable, food quality and cleanliness is great as well! You don't need to ask for things twice, or wait long at all. All the workers are very friendly and inviting. We tipped the cooks and we even got a song. :) I give it a 10/10 and highly recommend paying a visit.

Awesome food... but I can never get the seasonings right on the first try!! I always have to experiment with the oils to get it right. Also the dinner pricing is a little high but it's still worth it!

Mongolian bbq all you can eat. 13.99 for a dinner. There were 4 kinds of meat and a good variety of vegetables and sauces. I would recommend it for a different night

I ate couple bites then something was caught in my throat and I started gagging. Something was poking my throat.. I found a long piece of thin wood that was extremely sharp. That was stuck inside my throat!!!!!! I immediately called over the waitress while I was tearing. He apologized and gave me a refund.. I will never go to this place ever again. I advise you to watch out what you put in your mouth there!!!!

Price is unbeatable when compare to other Mongolian bbq. The food is very bland and you need to add a lot of sauces to bring out the flavor No white rice or mushroom!

  • Rel O.

Its not the greatest in flavor, cleanliness, service, etc. But it DOES beat paying near $10 for ONE small plate at Great Khan (in the Cerritos Mall Food Court)... instead; you get unlimited plates for LESS than $10 here (during lunch), plus extra sides. The fact that you get to put your own amount and selection of sauces is great!

Caesars is a quality Mongolian BBQ joint. We went on Saturday 8/23 for dinner. It's AYCE, and they have 4 meats to choose from. Everything is high quality and veggies are fresh. the meat is shaved and frozen like most Mongolian BBQ places. The guys work that round grill and deliver a plate of spicy yumminess that makes me want another. Glad it's AYCE. Thanks Caesars, I'll be back.

  • Ryan A.

Unlimited mongolian bbq for $10 bucks a person, you can't beat that! Service here is very l fast and they are very friendly! You have a choice of chicken, beef, or pork. The vegetable choices are decent and the sauce choices compliment your creation. They also have some fruit, fried rice, wontons, and soup which I didn't even try. My creation: Pork and beef Onions Sprouts (I think that's what they are called) Water chestnuts Noodles Sauce (add directly on top before they cook it) 1 scoop of house sauce 2 scoops of mild house sauce 2 scoops garlic sauce 1 scoop ginger sauce 1 scoop of the chili pepper sauce if you want more of a kick After it is cooked, don't forget the sesame seeds!

  • Johnno C.

Best Mongolian bbq around I can't help but come here at least once a week great customer assistance and very friendly staff. We come in so often they know exactly what we want to order makes you feel at home. The sesame bread is delicious make sure you order some with tour meal I love that the drink and rice and bread all comes with the buffet price nothing is added unless you don't finish. Highly recommended if I could give more stars I would .

  • Scott A.

Caeser's is very good. I am a Mongolian expert and I can confirm that this place is solid. The vegetable selection is thorough and everything is fresh. The owners/managers are OCD on the cleanliness, so you won't feel like you are at the Ole Country Buffet. They will bring the white rice and/or bread to your table on request. My only issue with Caeser's is the way they do their sauces. They do provide good instructions, but the make your own sauce style is not my favorite. I'd prefer that they had some pre-mixed specialties. All that said, this is the best Mongolian grill in our area hands down. The jello starfruit desert is also amazing. A super light and refreshing way to end the meal after gorging yourself with the frozen meat and veggies.

  • Enzo T.

Came here with my family. Heard great things from my brother and read the reviews beforehand. Place is very clean. The staff is very kind and seemed genuine. Which is lacking in a lot of establishments. The thing that a lot of businesses do wrong is that they treat the staff as expendable commodities and it shows thru the staffs personalities. So, when I go somewhere and majority of the staff is not frazzled or over-stressed, I consider that a place of great caliber. The food was what expected, maybe even better. Wish they had better dessert options. That's about it.

    (4)
  • Darleen A.

Really great options for making your own noodle plate and if you like the mall noodles you will definitely enjoy eating here it's all you can eat noodles and stack as much as you want! They also offered steamed rice and other sides with your meal. The meats and veggies were fresh and had good customer service.

    (4)
  • Claudia L.

This place is as good as you can make your bowls.....the ingredients are there for you to play with and master. It took me awhile. They really don't have a various choices of meats (no seafood) but it does the job,i guess. Just wish there wad a bit more side dishes.but that place is so small i dont they will have any room for improvements. But overall the food is good.

    (4)
  • Araceli R.

Their food is always so good! And they keep it clean. The customer service is always so nice and a very kid friendly place

    (5)
  • Annalynn C.

This place is great. Their veggies are fresh, the meat is frozen (no big deal), but the sauces are the best! I've never had a bad experience here. The reason why I gave then 4 stars instead of 5 is because their wontons (strips and pork) are always a little stale. I'm not sure if it's because they're just sitting out or whatever, but, it never fails... Their shrimp chips are always just a little too "old oil" tasting as well. Oddly enough, every time I'm there, I get some anyway... Hoping it'll be better! lol. The customer service is excellent. They're attentive and very nice.

Atkins Diet Palace. My wife is currently on the Atkins Diet. She's been very good at it too, lost quite a bit of weight already. But getting food, sometimes can be a bit tricky. Not Here. Mongolian BBQ is a bit different. You get a bowl and follow the steps below: Pile in your protein - you have a choice of pork, beef, lamb or chicken. All frozen and thinly sliced. This makes for faster cooking. They used to have a turkey option, but sadly they don't have it anymore. Pile in your vegetable - your choices varies. but for the most part are bell peppers, onions, cilantro, jalapeno, mushrooms, pineapple, tofu, green onions, etc etc. Pile in your noodles (if you so choose to) - are fat round yellow noodles. Pile in your sauces / condiments you want your meal to be cooked in - They have a guide you can use written by the sauce area or you can do your own. Typically the sauce choices are chili oil, canola oil, garlic sauce, hots sauces, sweet sauce, etc etc. Then you proceed to the cook. Where he puts all your ingredients in a big round griddle and he moves / cooks your meal with a sword like wand and proceeds to go around the griddle until your meal is cook. It only takes a minute or two to complete this step. He then hands you your food back. Aside from the Mongolian BBQ part, they also offer some buffet items. 2 soup options, fried rice, egg roll, fried wanton wrappers and a few dessert choices. TIP: use two bowls, because one is not going to cut it. Put all your meats in one bowl and vegetables, noodles & sauces in another. Make it easy on yourself. Service was very friendly and prompt. The cook was also very nice and friendly. Leave him a tip. That is a lot of walking and exercise going around that hot griddle. He really works hard for his money. Meat and vegetable palace. delicious. I'll definitely be back.

First time here pretty nice decor for a buffet place. Parking lot is small and crowded. We came an hour after opening and it was a good thing too because it got suddenly crowded pretty fast. I've been to other Mongolian BBQ places and the flavor of the sauces and meats are much better... There's only two workers so you might have to wait a bit for your noodles to be cooked.. Overall pretty good meal at an affordable price.

I'm hungry for Mongolian! I've only been here once but I have been to a place like this before! Since I don't have a bottomless pit for a stomach I don't tend to like these places but if you are on a budget, trying to feed a man child that seems to have picked up a tape worm during his growth spurt and NEVER stops eating, or you're in college and need a halfway decent hot meal this is your place! You walk in select your items, meat, veggies, noodles, etc. and they cook it up for you. They only have one bowl per person but if you're crafty enough that is all you need. I have seen a mountain of food all in one bowl and they WILL HONOR what they say and cook it all up for you! I'm not sure if they have doggie bags or just throw it out. I'm hoping they don't do that! You can season your food as you like which is really nice. Again my only drawback to this place is I can't eat that much so there is really no reason to come here for me. But if you have a big group or people visiting from out of town it might be a neat place to take them if they have never been to a place like this. You are able to watch them cook up your food while you wait. It's pretty straight forward but it is nice to be able to create what you like from a raw menu! It's almost like going to the Farmers Market and having them cook you a meal after you select what you want to buy.

I came here last week with my friends for dinner and we were seated right away. The decor of this restaurant is really nice. The only Mongolian place that I have been to before has been in the mall. So if you're familiar with the drill you grab your bowl and load it up with frozen meats, veggies, and noodles. Then you top it off with spices, lemon and garlic if you so desire. Then you take it to the cooking station where it will be cooked and scooped up on a plate for you. The service was really good and the cooks were very funny. I gave them an extra tip in their jar because they were so entertaining. We also got some sort of sesame bread but I have to admit that I thought it was awful. They have a few other assorted treats to choose from like soup, egg rolls, wontons and these shrimp chips. I only tried an egg roll and it was good. The food was very delicious and we were all so full after one bowl that none of us could back for more. But in all honesty the food wasn't that much better than the mall stores but the price was a LOT MORE! For three plates and three drinks it was over $50.00. In the mall I would have paid less than $30.00.

We were very surprised when we walked in. The inside is much nicer than the outside. Food was great. Everyone was very friendly and the cooks were great to talk to. Top notch service. I like that they charge you extra if you waste food. Which my girlfriend is notorious of doing, not her fault but she gets full fast haha. We're definitely going back

I've never been to another Mongolian BBQ place, so I'm not really sure what to expect. It seemed like they had a pretty large selection of food, and I saw them constantly changing out the food to keep it restocked/fresh. Taste-wise, I thought it was just mediocre. You have to put waaaaay more sauce into it than you'd expect. I'm not sure how many ladles I put in, but it came out kind of bland. Their service was pretty good until it hit 7:00 pm(we got there around 6:30). By then, they were starting to rush us and handed us the check before we even asked for it. Oh and their watermelon is super sweet!

I hadn't been here in more than a decade when my other little brother decided he wanted the fam to come here for his bday dinner. It's better than I remember! It's AYCE with fried appetizers and fried rice and egg drop soup and a few kinda lame "desserts" like orange slices, jello, etc...but thats the norm at legit asian restaurants. And then theres the BUFFET! It's a little different in that you pile up your ingredients raw and the guys cook it for you on a giant flat grill. I had lamb, cabbage, scallions, zuccini, mushrooms, broccoli and noodles. They had a HUGE array of veggie choices and then theres the sauce bar. They have signs posted to give you an idea of how to flavor what is basically your personal stir fry. Theres garlic and chili and lemon and ginger and a house base and more that I cant remember, but like I said they post lists of sauce combos for mild, spice, curry, etc. Most people were piling meat in one bowl and veggies and sauce in another bowl and having the chefs combine them on the grill. All of us were very happy with our personalized combos and we were all VERY full :) I'd definitely come back with friends and the other side of my giant fam :)

Went here for lunch and was pretty impressed. A fairly small but tasty selection of meats and veggies. Everyone is friendly and the cooks are efficient. I will definitely be coming here again.

The food tastes great, I'll give them that. Service is awesome too! I felt welcomed and comfortable. Clean restrooms and common areas. I was a little caught off guard by a $13.95 dinner. It's an all you can eat restaurant, but don't take too much. If you don't finish the food you take you get slapped with an additional $3.50 charge. I was a little annoyed by this which is why I left a 3 star review. But overall I was fairly satisfied.

This is a Mongolian Barbeque restaurant. The only thing is, this is the best one I have ever been to. The food and the service were top notch, so much better than their Mongolian Barbeque competitors there is just no comparison. This place is clean, the food looks very fresh (that is a shortcoming at many of these restaurants, clean and fresh). It was great, as was the service. Stellar. What else can I say? This is just as good as it gets. I have never been to a better one, nor do I expect to be.

You make your food to order , the ingredients are fresh and everyone is friendly , way better than the mall .. I just wish they had a bigger selection on soups and dessert.

I like this place a lot. Must order the sesame bread when you are there. It is part of the dinner buffet price but you must ask for it. Also offer cold spinach salad, kimchi, 2 types of soup, fruit and mangolian tapioca pudding along with the buffet price. Decent selection of shaved meats, and lots and lots of different veggies to add to your bowl.

Dined here on a Monday night with my boyfriend and a friend of his. It was the first time dining here for any of us. The restaurant is comfortable size, not too big or too small. The staff was very helpful and courteous. It was not very crowded when we arrived. Maybe 3 other tables of people, so we were seated immediately upon entering. There was a good assortment of meats and vegetables. They offered chicken, pork, beef, and lamb, which was a nice surprise. The veggies were very fresh and good assortment of sauces to put over the food before having it cooked. Due to the place not being busy our food was cooked in just a few minutes. In addition to the main foods, there were also egg rolls, fried won ton, fried rice, egg flower soup, hot and sour soup, and you could request steamed rice, if you preferred that over fried rice. The desserts were limited. There was some jello that was supposed to be fruit, but tasted more like a "flower." There were watermelon slices and orange slices and some type of "Thai" dessert that was milky pink and had tapioca or boba. Overall, I was very pleased with the available options, especially considering the price was under $13 per person.

First time having Mongolian... Loved it! I gotta say this place rocked! We came here lady minute on a Sunday evening and they were busy but able to seat us in 5 minutes. It's so fun to make your own bowl of deliciousness, as many times as you like!!! It was clean and fresh with an old school feel. Our 2 year old ate so much rice and noodles and picked apart our plates but they didn't even charge for him. Water and drink refills were quick and the guys cooking up the food were friendly and fun to watch! Will be back:)

  • Jonathan V.

Hate to rate it so low since customer service was great, but I just don't feel that the taste and quality of the food is worth the visit and I do dare say, it's equivalent to just getting gengis khan at the mall. On top of that, there's no way in hell you can eat more than one bowl of this so you don't really get your money's worth. Honestly, I don't even eat mongolian food that much, but when I do, I go to gobi mongolian.

Came here for dinner & got seated right away and their service was amazing! This is one of the best Mongolian places I have ever been too! The guys making the food were friendly and conversing with my family & I while we were waiting for our food :-) once we were done & were going to pay, the lady in the front was very nice & I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for something good to eat!!

The more I think about this place, the more I want to go back for a second and even a third visit. Imagine your mongolian bbq at a fast food court. Now think of a place like that, if not better, but endless, buffet style. Eat and mix any combination of noodles at your heart's desire. Why not have one bowl full of beef and broccoli, and then another noodle bowl full of garlic, chicken, and green onions...... ....THAT'S IT!! After the first visit, I was feeling very full from all the food and I told myself, "I might not go here again." To my dismay, I ever created different bowl combinations. Honestly, for a place where the sheer thought of your experience brings you back for more, that sounds like a winner.

Best atmosphere I've ever enjoyed at a Monngolian BBQ! Clean and bright, delicious food, and a fun adventure. Not inexpensive, but a good value. I love the encouragement to not waste food, and their posted recipes for mixing sauces. A very nice adventure with food!

Popped my Mongolian BBQ cherry here. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!! Great staff, Great service. Squeeky clean place! I've taken a few of my friends here, who have had Mongolian BBQ many times before & they LOVED it, so it's gotta be GREAT!!!!

Well this was one of my favorites.. But with tonight's experience, I may never go back. We took the kids and my daughter didn't want to try the all you can eat bar, so she ate 3 small slices of watermelon. The bill came and they charged us $7.99. We inquired about such a large charge.. So they dropped the price to a toddlers plate for $5.99.

I've only been to one other Mongolian BBQ spot but that's because it was my favorite. After coming here, I may have a new standard for Mongolian BBQ. The service was top notch, I got refills almost every time my drink ran out. For my friends who had not done Mongolian BBQ before, there was a helpful employee that showed them how to maneuver and choose what ingredients, if they wanted. The place was clean and pretty nice.

We visited Caesar's last Friday for the first time in 10 years because we moved out of state. The food offered was good but we were disappointed that the shrimp and chocolate pudding was no longer, everything else was pretty much the same. Mind you it's all self serve, but when the cooks stir fry your food, there's a tip jar and when our bill came for a party of 8 came, they charged us a 20% tip, that was for bringing our drinks. We won't be back.

One of the best Mongolian BBQ restaurants in LA County. My bf and I typically order take out and the staff and chefs are wonderful. They are all extremely helpful - particularly if you're a newbie and need help with seasonings. There is a little bit of everything: hot spices, curry, mild, hot, fresh garlic, etc. they will gladly hook your plate up. I only have one concern: there are some new policies in place - such as weighing plates to tack on additional fees if a minimum weight requirement is exceeded and a surcharge for all you can eat customers. If you don't consume most of the food on your plate you will be charged an addl. fee, which is kind of tacky for an all you can eat buffet. Otherwise, the pros definitely outweigh the cons where this restaurant is concerned. Definitely recommend! And don't forget to tip the chefs. :)

There's no sriracha! How can a Mongolian BBQ place not have sirarcha?! Anyways my cook, Francisco was friendly and was kind enough to clean the grill for me. Food was delicious...add extra lemon juice.

  • Gaby R.

This was our first time here. It was good ... but honestly is was the same as the mall. The only difference was the price. For a all you can eat place- I would assume they would have a bigger wider selection. It was the same ingredients- except you serve yourself. I was disappointed because we paid $ 48 bucks for something we usually pay $ 24. I personally do not see the high quality. It was good not fabulous.

Came here for the first time, and the hostess/manager was so sweet and kind! She helped explain everything and made sure we understood. Another guy, I feel like he's the manager was walking around and was very kind and attentive. He got us whatever we needed very quickly! The food is great, and for the price, it is definitely worth it! They even have watermelon!!

Initially, I thought this place would be awesome. My fiance is obsessed with Mongolian BBQ, so when we saw this place and double checked Yelp, we had high expectations! This place is really clean, spacious, and everything appears really great on the outside. Lots of appetizers, a great variety, and fairly fast service. So, why the 1 star? Almost immediately after I started sipping on some egg flower soup and munching on an egg roll, I started to feel sick. I thought it would pass, so I tried to indulge in some Mongolian BBQ, which was mighty tasty, but unfortunately... I just kept getting more and more sick. Then it hit me - I think they use A LOT of sodium in this place. How else could they preserve ALL the sauces, veggies, etc? If you notice, they're soaked in tons of water... and probably, tons of salt. Eek. So unfortunately, I won't be coming back here. I wish I could say that I would be because I've always wanted to find an awesome AYC Mongolian BBQ place. On another note, this place is kinda pricey too - it cost us $13/person for dinner and an unending stomachache :( Boo on you, Caesar. And for the record - what kind of name is Caesar for a Mongolian BBQ place, anyway?!?! Does Caesar = salt fest???

I go to this place often with my co-wrkers. It is all you an eat mongoloian stule bbq "Similar to Gengas khan" at the mall, but 100 times better. There is a wide selection of veggies and meats along with sevral different sauces.Do pay attention to the sauce chart, itwill tell you the ratios and what sauces to mix for the type of taste you like. there is alos a buffet bar with deserts, soup salad kimchi etc.

    (4)

This place is so great. They offer kimchee so you can mix it with the mongolian BBQ. Quality is higher than most other Mongolian BBQ places.

I really liked this place. Good selection of items. The place was clean. The service was good. The only bad thing is when it gets busy the BBQ grilling station is a major bottleneck. Having said that they cook it pretty fast and you don't have to wait too long. I will come here again soon!

This place was amazing.. Fresh tasting and the ppl who work there were welcoming.. Me and my wife enjoyed ourselves.. We were amazed that this place existed.. We pass it everyday.. You really have to pace yourself though. If your going for gusto, slow down cowboy.. They don't let you take a doggie bag home. Which is understandable.. Meat was fresh, veggies were crisp.. When we were done didn't feel like we would if we went to our usual Korean BBQ.. Prices are reasonable.. Got about three plates in for weekend prices.. All in all great experience.. Will be back!!!

This place should just be titled "Noodles"!! This was our first time here & overall the noodles was good & service was great! My husband absolutely loved it since they had lamb as an option for their meats to mix with his noodles. I, on the other hand, wish they had a variety of other dishes OTHER THEN JUST NOODLES! I also wish they had better desserts other then just oranges & some pink tapioca dessert.

    (3)
  • Tiffany F.

I love how everything is fresh and they have lots of ingredients. They have a list of what sauces to use depending on how spicy you want it. The only shortfall is no dessert items. They only have jello and a Thai dessert.

Did you know that there's no such thing as Mongolian BBQ? It's a Taiwanese construct. And as far as what Mongolian BBQ stands for (someone visibly stir-frying your selection of meats, veg, and noodles on a large open griddle), it's hardly BBQ. Oh well. Casear's feels gimmicky, but what brings us back all these years is well.. my old man. I'm not sure exactly what the draw is here, but based upon my understanding of my dad's food preferences, it's the fact that it's meat-centric and allows for sauce customization (throw in as much heat as your heart desires). Most importantly, Caesar's serves baskets of warm sao bing or Chinese flaky baked sesame bread. Most diners pile on the noodles to stir-fry with their meats and veggies or opt for large sides of fried rice, but our family (and other Chinese family friends I've come to Caesar's with) will stuff sao bing with their stir-fried meats and veg (no noodles) for an Asian burrito. You ought to try it at least once. I like the egg rolls. The kimchi never looks too fresh.

We just moved to the Lakewood area and have been looking for new favorite dinner places to frequent. We are huge fans of Mongolian food and had to try Caesar's after getting a coupon in the mail. We went there not expecting much because some of the places we have tried in Orange County brought less than favorable expectations. (e.g. Dirty, out dated and very little topping selections for each meat entree and hand written signs everywhere telling it's customers not to share). Not what we encountered at Caesar's!!! We walked in and were immediately taken back by the gorgeous interior, the well planned out buffet area, the nice lighting and the huge selection of meats, toppings, soups, appetizers and desserts! It was clean and elegant. The host and waitresses were pleasant and were eager to help with refill and bread requests. All in all this was the best Mongolian dinner experience we have ever had. $12.95 for all you can eat buffet and everything was delicious and fresh! We are fans and will be back soon!

  • Vanessa B.

This place is great. The food is always fresh and the guys cooking it up for you are always friendly and do a wonderful job. I ask for my meat well done and it always comes out perfect. The only semi problem I would say is the one older, slender asian waitress who seems to do most of the waitressing. She's a bit of a snob and not at all friendly. She never ever smiles. Also, she seems to be bothered when asked for refills on the rice and/or bread, like she doesn't want to give you any more. The rest of the staff, however, are outstanding. She is the only reason I don't give it a full 5 stars. I still go and either hope I don't get her, or just ignore her rudeness.... because the food is that good! lol :)

  • Lizz G.

They're vegetarian friendly, yay!! Excellent customer service, tofu, veggies, noodles and other goodies. The chefs cool your food fast and they're friendly too. I love this place bc I can have a great vegetarian meal and my bf can enjoy his meat too. Love it! Much better than Korean BBQ and overrated Benihanas :)

  • Senia G.

came here a couple of times , they don't have a kids menu...just kid drinks :/ ,but they need more side options aside from all you Can get in your bowl. pick and choose, stand in line patiently , let the cook do his wooose magic and get your grub on. its near starbucks, dollar tree so that's a plus if you want to shop or need to grab a few items. prices are ok but I recall a party of 5 , cost was $69 or so so BE HUNGRY!!!!! ,oh they serve wine as well , the place Does need some remodeling , little dark (not that its a bad thing, dark is good) . I have yet to eat 3 rounds of the same stuff so its some what of a waste PRICEY, veggies looks fresh, meat is frozen.

Went early (5PM) on a week day. Wide open. Impressed with how clean the place was, the 4 of us had a deal to walk if it was dirty! The ingredients appear to be limited, but once you start to ply on the goods, you realize that everything you need is there. So lighten up with the negative comments! It was clean, tasty and I really liked it. Frankly, even for a big eater, you really can't eat much more than one plate. So the price is a bit steep. But soup was good (2 choices, egg drop and sweet/sour) and so where the eggrolls. This is a clean, well managed place that I would definitely go back to. Seriously, limit the noodles and rice and you can have a pretty healthy meal and you can have it FAST.

  • Sophorn T.

One of our most favorite places to eat. Family own and super friendly and the service is amazingly fast and good. I recommend using one extra scoop of host sauce for the spicy flavor. It brings out more flavor in the end product :) the price is very reasonable for ayce Mongo bbq.

  • Jolina S.

Good food, and good service! I love the quality of the buffet, not like most run down places around. The servers are always going the extra mile to please, and the food is awesome! Worth the price for sure. Make sure you ask for the rolls, they're really unique and yummy!

  • Andrew D.

Caesars is straight up delicious. This isn't like other buffets that leave food sitting under heat lamps all day. They constantly prepare fresh meats and vegetables and re stock the buffet line. Cooked per order on a flat stone and speedy service make this place an A+ for us and we love bringing people here. Lamb, pork, beef and chicken are the 4 meats offered. Broccoli, mushrooms, tofu, boc choy, baby corn, carrots, onions, bean sprouts, and many more veggies are cut fresh and plentiful. Also try the Kim Chi and egg rolls. They have an assortment of sauces from spicy, sweet, garlic, oyster, curry and soy. Decent beer selection but lets face it, to many beers makes for less trips to the buffet line. AND A MUST TRY! The egg drop soup. I need not say more except it gets busy but don't be alarmed, the super friendly and attentive staff will take care of you ASAP.

  • Alma S.

This place is a hidden gem. $13 for all you can eat. Lots of fresh veggies and seasonings. Friendly service and nice environment. I will definitely be returning with the family. My only tip would be to arrive 2 hours before closing at the latest. If you are any later, just plan to visit on a different day. About 30 minutes to closing the staff start cleaning and you are rushed out.

  • Fatima G.

I came here with my family, and I must say that we were impressed. There is a great variety of toppings(lots of veggies), seasonings, sides and desserts. The food was quite flavorful, the vegetables were not over-cooked and soggy, and the service was top-notch. I love how polite and helpful the workers are and how clean the restaurant is. I will definitely return.

My wife and I used to go here a lot before my ten year old daughter was born. Right around that time it started to go a little down hill. So we stopped coming. We had heard that it had been remodeled and was under new ownership so we thought we would give it another shot. Wow how times have changed. It is great now! they took away most of the Chinese buffet dishes leaving only things like egg roll's, won ton's, soup (delish) and some simple deserts. But the Mongolian BBQ section is better than ever. They never used to have noodles only sprouts. The noodles IMO make a big difference. We highly recommend this place. Also... Super attentive service!

First of all, I am a big fan of Genghis Khan at the Lakewood Mall. The Lakewood Mall spot closed down for awhile, and to meet my craving for Mongolian BBQ the only option I had was Cerritos Mall and Caesars. The Cerritos Mall location isnt all that great, so I decided to go to Caesars. Been here a few times, good but not great. Service and staff are friendly, but the food is overpriced. Granted, it is all you can eat-and for some that is a plus-but, it is mongolian BBQ so your first serving will be hefty anyway. Now that the Lakewood Genghis Khan is open again, thats where I will be going from now on. Not a bad place, pretty decent-but, for half the price and better Mongolian, you are better going to the Lakewood Mall.

Service, food, quality, and prices are all spot on! I was invited by a friend who has been coming here for the past ten years. I wanted to know what all the fuss was about and was totally blown away by the food! I love the whole experience (especially the eating part)! If you're hungry and in the area, you definitely need to give them a visit!

Didn't know what to expect when I came here but it was really good. Good selection of meats, vegetables, and I thought it was cool that they have a list of sauces and combinations of them so you can pour it yourself. And it's also pretty cool to watch them cook the food in front of you.

this place is magical perhaps the best mongolian bbq that had ever entered my mouth the server dropped sum wizdom when we asked if sodas were included during dinner and he sed "nothing is free in america" TRU

Average and just okay... Unless you are a huge fan of Mongolian wok. The service is very nice, but the price doesn't really justify the tasty factor in the food. I would totally go to Korean bbq AYCE before this. I guess it was just not my cup of tea.

  • Laura K.

Came here because my son loves Mongolian BBQ and he had been asking to come. Haven't been here in awhile but was pleasantly surprised. I remembered it as only fair and kind of dingy but tonight was clean and tasty. The customer service, from the person who seated us to the young man who cooked our food, was friendly and helpful. The cook stopped to talk to my young son who was chattering non stop. Both kids enjoyed the food (which is rare). Will come back again soon

So many mixed reviews that I had to try it. Honestly, it was pretty good. I really liked the 9-12 different kinds of sauces you can add to your food. I haven't been to many Mongolian restaurants but this one seemed like they could have added a bit more to the menu. Otherwise, what's not to like about an AYCE place? Don't knock it til you try it.

So we went there after reading the reviews and bitterly DISAPPOINTED! This place was understaffed at the time (Sunday eve) and we were charged for the FULL DINNER PRICE with one plate (trip) each and no other side dishes included. Total bill was 30 some dollars for one plate and one drink (no refill) for the two of us!

  • Jeff M.

My wife and I come to Caesar's roughly once every couple of months and love it! We have tried a few other Mongolian restaurants in the area and none can compare. For $12-13 you get all you can eat. Their meat, especially their beef is really good. The vegetable selection is extensive and their sauce selection and suggestions are well thought out and definitely more diverse and tasty than that of other Mongolian restaurants. Another big plus is you actually get some other items to eat like dessert - which you don't get at any other Mongolian restaurant I've been to, wonton chips, spring rolls and a few other items. Definitely going to stick to Caesar's in the future!

Came here with the bf on Saturday. Apparently, we had excellent timing and somehow got to the door at 5:07pm. We were seated promptly, the waitress introduced us to what to do, what foods were available, and asked for our drinks. The meat selections I saw were lamb, pork, chicken, beef. Lots of veggies, including bok choy, sprouts, jalapenos, tofu, mushroom, green onions, etc etc. You can also spoon in how spicy you want your plate, with lots of sauces to choose from. Then you give the bowl to the person at grill and watch your food get cooked in front of you. Everything was really clean. Meats were thawed, which made it easier to put in the bowl. Service was excellent. They were always prompt and made sure that everyone got they wanted. The cooking is actually pretty fast, and the people at the grill know what they're doing. Nice big grill, so they work on many plates at once. Awesome. Not too many other side dishes, which I prefer; it makes me feel not as gluttonous as I could be. There were eggrolls, shrimp chips, one or two types of soup, Hawaiian fried rice, kimchi, garlic with spinach. For desserts, there were oranges, cantaloupe, melon, jello, and a thai dessert that had coconut, lychee, boba, jelly, and other stuff. Not too sweet, and actually really good. Honestly, 12.95 is an excellent price for one person for a DINNER AYCE. When we have a craving, will definitely come back. In the meantime, got to make my waistline smaller before our next visit.

I've always pass by this establishment and never ventured in to try it out. It must be pretty good, because it's been there for a pretty long time. All You Can Eat Mongolian BBQ is the game. They've got tons of meats to choose from: Beef, Chicken, Pork, Lamb, Turkey...and lots of other stuff you can stick in your bowl...the green stuff. It seems pretty clean but it's a bit dim inside, maybe it's to set that romantic mood, but I think it's to save on the electricity bill, I don't blame them in this economy. Okay...my first bowl: yelp.com/biz_photos/lw1-… Pretty bland, I'll be honest, I wasn't too sure what I was doing and what I was putting in. There is a little chart by the sauces that tell you how many spoonfuls of what sauce. I like the guided chart. However, my first plate was sort of flavorless, I don't blame the restaurant, I blame myself for not putting enough sauces. So onto bowl 2: yelp.com/biz_photos/lw1-… I put so much of different sauces in that thing that it looked like a soup before being cooked. But it definitely had more flavor and my tummy was happy. The other pre-made food available like the fried rice and the fried wontons were a 1 star ... I tried it, and I will not go back for that stuff. However I will go back for the Mongolian BBQ part...and only $12!!

Nice place, good food, great service! The staff is very attentive and polite :) My husband loves this place because it's all you can eat at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be coming back here and I will be bringing other family members with me as well.

I love it! For a Mongolian BBQ, I think its totally worth 5 stars! The place is clean and nice to look at... The swankiest Mongolian place Ive seen! The food area is set up buffet-style and theres a ton of options for everything and best of all - its all stocked and wiped down. I made myself a beef/pork/sprout/mushroom/cilantro dish... Came out delicious! The only thing I would have changed is for it to be spicier. I used 4 spoons of the spicy and added chili and it was still barely above mild. However, I love the soft noodles... it soaks up the sauces better.. Yuuuuum. The people here were all very nice and attentive... I loved that the buffet has things like fried wonton skins, shrimp chips and egg flower soup! It was a little bland, but at about $13/person for AYCE for all that, Im not complaining! They even had Ambrosia and Jello, but I was so darn full that I couldnt bring myself to get dessert. Oh yeah, my favorite thing here is probably that the meat is in slices and slightly thawed. It cooks faster and you can fit a ton of it into your bowl! I hate all the frozen, rolled up meats at other places; because you can only fit a few pieces in a bowl and its so hard to stack veggies on top!

This place is amazing, the servers are friendly and I love how the cooks are patient! I'm a guy who likes mongolian bbq to be non-spicy so I always ask the cooks to clean the grill before cooking my plate and they always say yes and never seem to complain. This place also has to be the best place where I get mongolian bbq! I just wish there would be a little bit more varieties of food. However, I believe the price for this place is definitely worth it!

If you're looking for a good noodle place, this is NOT the place! Genghis Khan is 10x better! Don't be fooled by the buffet in the middle of the restaurant. Service is pretty good, but I found this place to be somewhat Americanized as well.

I only come here for lunch, which is about $10 per person. I like the meat selection, which consists of chicken, pork, beef, and lamb. It's good to come around 12 because everything is clean and untouched by other customers, plus you don't have to wait in line for your food to be cooked. They also have appetizers station like fried wontons and some fried Asian chips. Don't forget to ask for biscuits, which aren't really biscuits, they are more like sesame pocket bread and they are delicious. Like I said, good for lunch, but pricey for dinner time only because the food doesn't change much for dinner service. Oh and they do let you in early if you happen to show up a couple minutes before opening.

This place was great, they had an amazing selection and were very on top of filling all the items. I just wish there was a bit larger selection if desserts. Aside from that it was awesome.

This place is blah! Ghengis Khan in Cerritos mall is better & has just the same amount of choices, if not more than Carsar's does. Too pricy for what they offer.

Been here a few times and was good. Tonight however, I write this review on top of the porcelain god asking myself "WHY? WHY?" Not sure if it was the food, the spice from another persons dish or the sanitation has gone down but I will think twice before coming back. What a shame....

I've been here for both lunch and dinner a few times. Lunch is cheaper, they don't have lamb, and less dishes out. For dinner they have lamb, as well and more dishes than what is offered during lunch. Its all you can eat mogolian bbq with other cooked asian dishes in the buffet too. I've never had mongolian bbq in a nice dining experience, its always been at the mall food court. So, this place is awesome, very clean and very nicely decorated inside, it has a nice ambiance for dinner too.

Well, after 2 weeks in Argentina eating nothing but meat, meat and other delectable when I arrived home I needed a palate cleansing. Don't get me wrong, I love my people but it would be like having any other ethnic food for 2 weeks in a row with many variables in the meals. So, once again I'm following Pauline L's bread crumbs (her reviews) through the forest of Asian eateries. AYE for $8.95, Monday-Friday and the best damn Korean Kim-Chi I have ever eaten too; one of the brother's told me his bother in-law makes it and he agreed, it is just perfect. I've eaten Kim-Chi from South Korea and the Korea Towns I've been too and this by far gives them a good run for their Kim-Chi!. Clean, organized with out being to busy. The extras were just enough and not to many to spoil your appetite for your main meals either. One of the owners a really nice young lady was very instructional as to how to prepare my BBQ meats, veggies etc. Even though I knew that already, I was enjoying her smile and pleasant social interaction I couldn't with good conscience tell her I knew already; she, her brother and other family members really take pride in their restaurant and, I will defiantly be back. NO MSG HERE!!!!!! Give it a try-I went back twice (same sitting), I was full, satisfied and happy not Gay. :P youtube.com/watch?v=9ebT…

Okay, so is it seriously a crime that I have not tried Mongolian BBQ before? My friend who introduced me to this place displayed a look of horror as I shook my head to the question of whether I had tried it before. I AM SORRY, OKAY? First of all, I was skeptical driving over to Cerritos to try out Caesar's. The thing is, I have never ever met a Mongolian named Caesar. Wait, I've never even met a Mongolian before PERIOD. Man, I should go out and meet more people... become more culturally involved with other ethnicities. Aaaaaaah, I need to focus. But I thought that was funny. Or even the image of a giant Mexican man whose favorite food is Mongolian BBQ. HAHAHA okay stop. Once I entered the restaurant, the greeting was pleasant and there were only a few customers there. Seeing how it was a Wednesday night, I didn't think much of it. The facility is really clean, and the one waiter who was bustling around was very attentive and he had the place on lock. So FIVE STARS in terms of service and cleanliness. The bathroom was really neat and organized too, and I love it even more when the lighting is nice and not so white like in those interrogation rooms. We were seated, got our drinks, and the OWNER of the restaurant named Barbara hopped over to explain to us how the process worked in getting our food. Right when she led us to the island with all the foods in place ready for me to devour and uttered the words "all you can eat," I already felt the blood drain with joy. I don't care if that doesn't make sense, because I FELT IT. You get this tiny bowl. And your mission is to stack as much food on there as possible without making a giant mess. You start with the meats, and you choose from LAMB, BEEF, CHICKEN and PORK. Then you can pile on some broccoli, tofu, mushrooms, carrots, lettuce, baby corn, all this random crap. Then you pile on the noodles. Then you move onto the sauce station, which by the way is the MOST IMPORTANT PART, as Barbara emphasized to us. Apparently, she had a bunch of people skip that station and just go straight to the cook, and they ended up hating on the food. SO DON'T FORGET THE SAUCES. They had a cute little cheat sheet you can follow to mix the house sauces, ginger, chili sauce, curry, all this random sauce-age (BWAHAHAHA I'm hilarious) awesomeness to make your BBQ either mild, medium or spicy. I chose spicy and it actually ended up not being spicy at all. You'll love it. So now you take it to the cook who fries everything together to create an amazing plate of Mongolian BBQ. It was really good. I really really enjoyed it. For my first time, I thought it was excellent. They also had a sides buffet where you can grab wontons, sweet and sour soup, KOREAN KIMCHI (hollaaaah) and desserts. By the second plate, I was full. I would suggest try small portions so that you can try all the different meats and different sauces. More than anything though, I REALLY enjoyed the service and the personalized attention we received from Barbara. She was so friendly and helpful, and I want to go back and send my friends over to Caesar's just for her. She's like the mother I wish I had. :) But Yelp is all about supporting local businesses, right? SUPPORT THIS ONE. It's not Goliath, but it sure has a heart the size of him!

All you can eat food-- made however you like it= awesome! I've been here twice so far with my family and have enjoyed it each time. I love the fact that I can make the dish taste exactly how I like- and make it different each time I walk up. If you're not into noodles and meat then I can't really see this being the place for you. It's a very clean place. Beware of the busy hours though, the line for the wok can get super long.

I have been eating here for 15 years or so. There have been lots of changes, but the food remains delicious. The lunch price is cheaper for the same food, so if that is an option, pick lunch. The dinner price is still reasonable and I find myself eating a good amount of food for $17 (w/tax and tip). The servers are attentive and they never mind that I read and take up a table for a while. They offer a large array of vegetables and their egg drop soup is very tasty.

This All You Can Eat Mongolian BBQ Restaurant is great, unlike other Mongolian restaurants this place is clean and organized, and in addition they also serve other hot and cold food items. Oh and can't forget about the bread they bring out fresh from the oven (if they happen to forget and don't bring you any) just ask, and they'll have a basket of hot fresh bread in less than five minutes; sesame, soft, fluffy bread --- yum! They have a nice selection of meats: chicken, beef, turkey, lamb, etc., etc,. and the veggies are fresh and nicely cut and prepared for you to top over the meats you have chosen. And the sauces range from mild, to medium, hot, and they also have curry! So if your'e in a curry kind of mood, one or two spoon fulls of that will leave you satisfied. My favorite Mongolian AYCE by far, priced only at $9.95 for lunch and $12.95 for dinner.

This spot changed from what it was to what it is now. The flavors are great for the mongolian bbq. But the side dishes need more improvement. The egg rolls are tasteless and the side choices need more variety.

The place is a bit small but it looks real nice from inside. The service was good and they are very attentive. There is only one grill so it can get crowded when they are cooking. Small selcection of ingredients but they have a decent selection. Meats: chicken, pork, lamb and beef. Traditional veggies and all kinds of sauces: lemon, reg, ginger, mild, spicy, sweet & sour. They have a small buffet area with egg rolls, fruit, fried rice, soup, kim chi. They also have a decent beer selection. If you are looking for some cheap fast food, this is a good place. I will be coming here again.

I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Caesar's is clean and the ingredients are fresh. I made my dished with no noodles, if you decide to do this, make sure you add in half the recommended amount for sauces, or else your dish will be a little too salty. Or you caIn have it with steam rice/fried rice, whichever you prefer. It's $12.95 AYCE for dinner and $9.95 for lunch. You can pick and choose which meat and veggies you want in your dish. It's a great place to go with your families. I'm positive Caesar's will accomodate everyones tast buds! Just meake sure you take your appetites to get your monies worth!

My parents are creatures of habit so whenever we go out to eat, there's only a few choices. After a little bit of convincing to try something new and Yelping, I found this place. My parents are big fan of the Mongolian BBQ at the mall so I thought this was a better alternative. It was all-you-can-eat so you don't have to pack everything in one bowl. You can make several trips and try different sauces. Last, it's the same price as the one in Cerritos Mall, but without the pressure of piling everything all at once. In the end, all of us were satisfied and full. I'm sure this place will be part of the family-dine-out rotation.

I've been here a couple of times and I've been thoroughly satisfied. Here are some pros about this wonderful place: - ITS AYCE! - Really nice service! - Lady seated us right away! - We came in 5 minutes late for the lunch special and the lady nicely let us have the deal still! - Food was delicious even we make it ourselves. - Very clean and nice ambiance I love to come here because its really close from home and its AYCE and its good. For 13$ not bad. Will always return here.

Best Mongolian BBQ I ever had! ... But that's not saying much because I've only gone to about 3. This place is popular because it started getting super crowded after my second round. We got there at about 5PM and it was alright, not too long of a wait to get my food cooked .. but then at about 6:30PM or so the line got ridiculous. So I definitely advise going early! The service was great, they're so nice. The meat options were the regular ... beef, chicken, pork ... I tried them all, yum yum yum. I like how you can make your own sauce (i.e control the sweetness, the spicy-ness, etc.) It was awesome! The jello was also really good; I kept going back for more! I can't wait to go back! It's a great place to bring your family and friends. It's not a tiny spot, so you could get a pretty good group going. Yay, keep it up! (:

very fast and friendly service. food was excellent! the only problem for me is that its all you can eat and i cant eat anymore than one serving so the price was a bit high for what i could eat and the amount of food i couldnt eat they wouldnt let me take home so not only did i waste $ but i wasted food ): next time i will know better and order to go for $8 than pay $15 for AYCE.but would definitely recommend and come back again for sure!

My friend Jeffrey took me here after I moved away from the area -- I had seen it a hundred times, but never stopped in. Sadly, I am reluctant to go into Mongolian BBQ places, as I used to enjoy it when I wasn't kosher and it's typically not as enjoyable without meat. So when we came here, I was shocked that it was plenty of food. It was a great price for all-you-can-eat. There was tofu for us veggies and plenty of vegetables to choose from. The place was wonderfully kept and clean (there are quite a few Mongolian BBQs that aren't). And it was absolutely delicious -- everything that I remember about it that I enjoyed, except without the meat. There is meat for others, but I think that everyone will enjoy it. Just wish there was a place like it closer.

Went here for lunch. Definitely the nicest Mongolian BBQ decor-wise I've been to. Food was typical Mongolian..frozen meats rolled up, good selection of veggies and condiments. Buffet part was a bit on the light side-jello, fruit, soup, fried rice, kim chee, spinach tofu, wontons, shrimp chips. Service was excellent as our water was refilled constantly. Mongolian BBQ is what it is and hard to screw up and in the mood, this is a good place.

Only been here for lunch. I believe they close at 2pm then reopen for dinner. Lunch is a great deal, but dinner price is expensive, not worth it. I wouldn't come for dinner. My favorite place for Mongolian BBQ. 5 stars for lunch! PS. Over-sauce your creations, it'll make it so much more flavorful and BOMB.

I Love Mongolian bbq and I usually get it at the mall's food court but this place just happens to be RIGHT behind my work so I stopped by for lunch. If you love Mongolian bbq this is the place for you! They have all the veggies, meats and noodles and sauces that they have at the mall version plus more! And since it's all you can eat you can put as much as you want and not worry about pushing your meat down in the bowl (which I know everyone does at the mall so they can try to get as much to fit into their bowl) heck, I get two different bowls one for all my meat and the other with all my veggies sauces and noodles! They also have a small section of other foods like fried rice, soup and eggrolls but I'm too busy stuffing my face with Mongolian bbq to even both with those. The service is decent and the price isn't too bad for lunch and they have coupons in the CLIPPER magazine as well.

I love this place! The food is good and the service is excellent. The restaurant is extremely clean. The meat selection: beef, pork, chicken and lamb. So many fresh veggies to choose from, same with the sauces. There's a salad bar and a dessert bar. The servers are very attentive and will help you with the sauce selection. Awesome place!

This place is super clean and really good. The owner was extremely helpful when my partner and I told her that this was our first time in their establishment. She guided us step-by-step on what to get and where to go which was very helpful for first timers. The ingredients were all really fresh which is very important for teppanyaki. We went on a Sunday afternoon and you can't beat the price of $9.95 for all you can eat. Their side dishes were also excellent, with the exception of the Egg Drop Soup of which I can care less for. Their Pineapple Fried Rice was really good, and the Pork Wontons were pretty addicting. Overall, a great place to go to for Mongolian food in our area.

I had very low expectations but was mildly impressed. You pick the contents and spices so it up to you how you want it to taste. The workers are helpful for newbies and gave good advice on how much sauce to put on...but what you add is up to you. My kids love this place! Down side was the price...a bit high for semi self serve food.

Buffet Mongolian BBQ? Sounds like a great idea...and it would be, but alas the food just isn't that tasty here. I came here with my family of five (three kids and two adults) and ended up paying $75 during the dinner service hours. Maybe that's not bad for a buffet, but when you consider the wife and I could only stomach two small plates of the BBQ, and the kids had one small one each, that's not worth it. And did I mention the BBQ (even with the recommended sauces added) just wasn't that good. And outside of the BBQ there are only a few other items like kimchi, fried rice, and crispy wontons. And at all costs, avoid the egg flower soup - it tastes like dirty dishwater. On the plus side the facility was surprisingly clean and tidy. To sum it up though, the food just isn't that good, and for the cost there are probably twenty or so places in the area that are much better.

Great place! make your own bowl and watch it cook then sit and enjoy!! Both lunch and dinner are a reasonable price. Lunch has a few less meats to choose from. Ask for some rice if you choose to add it to your dish. There are also fruit, jello, soup, wontons, etc. Great service every time my boyfriend and I have gone.

It has been years since I have been here... Love the new look....Same GREAT food... This is a place to go with friends and not rush....Prepare the food as you like and watch them cook it for you !!!! Don't forget to ask for the bread.... it is delicious !!!!!

  • Ceasar T.

Yummy! You can do a lot worse for $10 than eat here during their lunch special. Unlike Great Khan's BBQ, which is not all-you-can-eat, no gumption is necessary to massively pile food in your bowl for your buck's worth. Have a second bowl to try another sauce combination. The cleanliness and service qualifies the price and at some point you have to realize that a buffet less than $10 probably isn't stomach-friendly.

Stay away from this place.....horrible people......used there so called coupon to take my daughter there to eat for free for her 14th birthday. Food was pretty good but the prices and cost for a drink are not. I believe it is $12.95 a person and the drinks were either $2.50 or $2.75 each. Needless to say when all was said and done they didn't want to give my daughter her free meal because she couldn't furnish an idshowing that it was her birthday.....had to fight for it. Was overall disgusted at the service received and was pissed that they ruined my daughters birthday dinner. I also think their prices are way too high. I will NEVER go back to this place. I will not support a business that treats their customers like that. I work .way to hard for my paycheck

    (1)

Food is great, but I care more about being treated well by staff. Don't end up sitting at a table with a friend who also has a coupon. They feel that you are trying to scam them and refuse your coupon. I was a regular customer.

I've got a huge crush on you Caesar. I love Mongolian BBQ...the problem is that most places are filthy, old or a combination of those things. If I can find a restaurant that is decent, the problem usually is that they don't have noodles or it's not AYCE. As sad as it may sound, it was looking like Mongolian BBQ in the mall food court would be my best option - that is, until I found Caesar's. A few of my friends have eaten here before but last night was my first. It was recently closed for remodeling - I didn't see it before but it sure does look nice now! All new paint, furniture, floors - absolutely spic & span! That already got me excited to be there...but now on to the food. Meats included chicken, turkey, beef, pork & lamb (which I was very happy to see since I don't always see lamb). Veggies were baby bok choy, mushrooms, broccoli, onions, zucchini, carrots, water chestnuts, baby corn, bean sprouts and more. When making the sauce, I like mine spicy so I add 1 oil, 2 spicy sauce, 1 garlic, 3-4 chili, 1 oyster - yes, sauce overload but very tasty! There are two cooks so even if there's a wait, it's always really short. Everything cooks up within a couple of minutes...sprinkle some sesame seeds on top & you're good to go. It was all super good...the veggies are fresh and replenished often along with the meat. There are also other foods such as soup (egg flower & wonton), veggies (spinach saute and celery salad), fried wontons, shrimp chips, tofu/soy salad, jello and fresh fruit. The wait staff brings you white rice or pocket bread if you want it. I had 2 plates full of yummy Mongolian BBQ with my noodles - I wanted to eat more but my stomach told me it would not be a good idea. =) For AYCE dinner it's $11.95, while lunch is $7.95 to $8.95 - a great deal for the food you get. Drinks are $2 but it says that draft beer is also $2, so if that's what you like, I'd say go for the beer since my sprite cost the same amount. =) By far, my FAVORITE place for Mongolian BBQ now - I *HEART* YOU CAESAR'S!

  • Christa N.

I came here for a friend's birthday and was taken aback by the interesting concept...buffet style Mongolian BBQ. Had it not been for my friend, I would have 1) never known about this place, 2) never had the balls to try this place, 3) NOT have a clue to what I was doing or what I was SUPPOSE to do to get my grub on. It's a bit intimidating for new comers, trust me, I know! My friend kindly walked me through the steps of getting the noodles, the vegetables and the meats as well as which sauce he suggests would go well. It's all about trial and error...almost like a grown up version of the easy bake kitchen. haha The only iff that I have with Caesar's is that I feel as though I'm not getting an adequate intake of vegetables...all carbs and protein! For all you V8 lovers, that shouldn't be a problem, but I absolutely hate V8 and therefore need my adequate intake of veggiessssss! Service is great but I came after lunch time so it wasn't as busy...it's certainly something to try but I don't know if I'd drive all the way out to Cerritos again just for Mongolian BBQ.

Dinner price here is really expensive, so go for lunch instead if you can. You're saving like $7. Been going here for years and this last year the whole interior of this place was completely redone. It looks SUPER nice now! I was impressed. The food here is also fantastic. The cooks there also know what they're doing. It's been the same guy there for years but he was recently training someone else (I think). At least he's learning from the best! He doesn't douse your stuff in water while he's grilling it because it gets rid of the flavor. If he DOES have to do that, you aren't using enough sauce and your food is too dry! Keep that in mind. The meats, vegetables, and noodles are always fresh. I also get amused that they have baby corn. :) My usually plate has beef, noodles, onions, beansprouts, baby corn, and a mess of other things on it... with lots of sauce! I remember back in the day they didn't have the little sauce guides and you had to figure it out for yourself! Fun times...

I'd never been to an all you can eat Mongolian BBQ, and it was very good. The sauces were flavorful and the meat was good. Price was great for the amount of food. Will definitely go back.

This place has really good food. The service is really nice and are very polite. You put your food in bowls and add any sauce you like. And then they cook it right in front you. The other cool thing about this place is you can make your own sauce. The are recipes on how to make it at the end of the buffet table.

We thought this place was just ok really... I still prefer the Genghis Khan inside Brea mall.. My husband and I can get full for less than $10... Here it is $10 per person. Their choices are many in amount and they have a lot of sauces... but we don't think the flavor is as good. Service was good.

Eversince Great Kanhs closed down @ the cerritos mall food court I haven't really had mongolian bbq so this was the first time in a long time. I love the recipe they post up above the sauce area so you atleast have an idea of what to put. I eat a lot, so $12 for dinner is not too bad. The other foods at the buffet line seems pretty old.The cream cheese won tons were good, but had very little cream cheese, same with the other fried wonton items. For $12 I wouldn't come back, but lunch might be worth it. Clean interior, pretty friendly staff with alright service.

all you can eat Mongolian bbq, make it your way with meats, veggies, noodles and sauces. Dinner is a bit pricey but if you can eat all night you'll make it worth the price, lunch is a better bang for the buck! Veggies on the bar were fresh along w/ the choice of meats and sauces you get to customize your own dish. Interior has been updated and this place has a homey feel to it, charming! Service was great, my tea cup never went empty!

I came here for a late lunch. As we came in, I saw that the kitchen was closing. So Quick Tip for Lunch: Come before 2:30 because that's when the kitchen closes. I packed 2 bowls of noodles and meat and sent it over to get cooked. In the meanwhile, there are other cool foods to sample. If you dig kimchi, it's here. Of course, food coma is to follow after the meal. BOO to the noodles. Mark my words: they don't taste anything like the noodles you find at Great Khans or Genghis Khan. That said, I am still craving my MONGOLIAN BBQ and I need my fix. That is all I have to say. Note that there are a ton of watered down sauces. It's overwhelming to deal with since you need to sauce up your noodles yourself unless you like bland noodles. Next time, I'm going to get the Mongolian BBQ from the mall. ;)

This is probably the best Mongolian BBQ place I've been to. Plus it's down the street so it's super convenient. For dinner it's $12.95/person which is not too shabby considering it's an all you can eat place. Mmm that sounds so good...maybe for dinner I'll go to Caesar's haha.

I've always drove past this place debating if I should venture in and take a bite .. and one day I did. The place is medium size for their business. As you walk in, you're greeted by the owners and they're super nice. In the middle are two buffet style areas, one for the Mongolian bbq and the other for regular chinese/salad buffet type set up. If you've never been to one, like me, you grab a plate and put your choice of meat in it, noodles, veggies, and the many different sauces they have. Of course, I didn't know what sauce to put in it since they had quite a few different ones to choose from .. I just had the owner do it for me and told her how spicy I wanted my dish to be. The cook then cooks it on their cooking round stove as you watch. Then when it goes around the stove twice .. he puts your food into a bowl and you're on your merry way to enjoy it. It turned out perfect of course =) I was quite surprised after diving into the dish. It was like chowmein but better tasting to me. I would definitely go back again. I believe you can go back for as many servings as you want, a buffet. Think I'll go back for another bite soon.

This place is fantastic. Lets me see here......I have been coming here for about 18 years I suppose. Maybe a Little more. I think its time to Yelp about it. This is a buffet style place where you go along and load up your bowl of everything and anything you like. They have chicken, lamb, and beef for the meats and then a huge selection of veggies. You load up and then go to the end where you will now pour scoops of salad oil, garlic oil, chili oil, garlic oil. DO NOT GOING SPARINGLY. This is what makes the dish or breaks the dish. You can experiment and come up with your own little secret recipe or you can follow the more experience buffet browsers. I came this weekend with my kids and my vegetarian girlfriend (go I cant believe I let that happened with a vegetarian WTF) I digress... and its a monster hit. The problem is, that its about $12.95 for the all you can eat and its really not worth it if you take someone who eats one bowl of veggies and says they are full. Go with someone who isn't worried about going down a belt hole or two while eating, otherwise its a waste. Its really good and i love going here. I have never been for lunch and doubt I will because of the way I eat while here. I usually go about 8:30 and kill it! Then I go home and put my super happy fatness to bed.

Disclaimer: I know Mongolian BBQ is more teppanyaki than Mongolian cuisine. I am also very curious about finding true Mongolian restaurants. So back off. Out of four possible stars for food: Three stars. I am not really a noodle-sans-broth person, so if there is a Mongolian BBQ place without the noodles and instead with more meat/vegetable ingredients, it would get the full stars from me for food. That being said, I am a resourceful foodie. Caesar's had fried rice on a sidebar, so I simply passed on the noodles and got my lamb and veggies cooked. My favorite combo: Lamb Broccoli Tomatoes Mushrooms Zucchini Other veggies Sauces: as spicy as possible. Quick Tip: Tomatoes and Mushrooms are really tasty once they get a chance to soak up the sauces on the teppanyaki grill. Out of one possible star for ambiance/misc: One star. Very clean and well laid out restaurant. Major plus: the big screen TV allows for plenty of Lakers games!

Went here the other day. Got here during the last 30 mins of lunchtime so I ended up paying only $9.95 which is a fair price if you ask me. The one at the mall is about $8 and you can only get it once. I remember stacking my bowl pretty high and the worker didn't look too pleased at that but hey you gotta get your money's worth right? Anyway onto the food. They have 4 different meats here. Beef, chicken, lamb and pork. I ate all of the meats except chicken. I eat chicken all the time so that's probably why I opted to not get it. Grabbed some veggies and then noodles. Then got the house sauce and poured 2 scoops of it and 1 scoop of the salad oil. Took it to the cook and waited less than 2 minutes. Food was pretty tasty. They have other stuff at the buffet but I didn't touch any of it. I saw some wontons there but they listed prices on them??? I'm not sure if they'd charge you extra if you got them so I didn't bother. Also this lady asked me and a friend if we wanted some sesame seed pocket bread so we got it and she brings just 2. I can see why. The bread sucks. Too dry and not worth wasting your stomach space on it. Eat more meat instead. My friend and I got 3 plates and left a tip on the 3rd trip. Overall we were stuffed and left satisfied. I'm not so sure about dinner here and if they serve the same stuff. I doubt I would pay $15 even though it is AYCE.

I came here yesterday for my bday lunch so it was a pretty big party. They had our tables reserved off, but we ended up needing an extra table. The younger waitress was fine about it but then the owner (older, Chinese woman) was a bit off-putting. Turns out, she had already reserved the table next to us (im not sure i believe this because who makes reservations besides big parties at a mongolian bbq restaurant?) and she wasn't being very pleasant about accommodating additional seating for us. In fact, she actually said people left because of it which seems DUMB. I understand that large parties can be annoying, but large parties means larger tip and you're not even really serving us! its self serve!!! Their sao-bings (the bread that comes with) is SMALL and flaky. I've definitely had better. Their kimchi bar was GROSS but I guess you cant expect much when its been sitting out there. It was nice that they had additional items such as soup and fried rice though. The place itself is a lot nicer and cleaner than most mongolian bbq places.

$15 for AYCE Mongolian BBQ sounded nice - in theory. Then I finally decided to check it out with a friend of mine, and we realized... it's really difficult to eat more than one plate. THE MEAT Pro: It's not frozen Con: They're tiny pieces. Look like leftover shreds. Choices: Turkey, Lamb, Beef, Chicken, Pork THE ADD INS Pro: Pretty fresh Con: No complaints Choices: Onions, Green Onions, Water Chestnuts, Pineapples, Celery, Broccoli, Carrots, Cilantro, Tofu, Cabbage, etc THE SAUCES: Pro: Pretty big variety, and comes with a "Suggestion Chart" Cons: The sauces are fairly mild Choices: Regular, Medium, Spicy, Salad Oil, Curry, Ginger, Garlic, etc THE BUFFET: Pro: All You Can Eat Con: Practically no selection, and slightly stale tasting Choices: Eggrolls, Wonton Strips, Wontons, Pineapple Fried Rice, Soup, etc THE DECOR: Pro: Plenty of seating for both small and big groups Con: Nothing fancy to look at THE ALCOHOL: Pro: There seemed to be a full bar Con: Didn't drink, so wouldn't know THE SERVICE: Pro: Very friendly Con: Nothing much What it boils down to is this: You can spend $8 at the mall to eat Mongolian BBQ. So $15 for AYCE sounds like a steal. But think about your mall experiences... Can you REALLY eat more than one serving? Not I.

I do not understand the previous comments from other customers. This place is OK. Not amazing, nor super good. The foods consist mainly of picking up your frozen meats (beef, pork, chicken, lamb) that had been sliced and bought in bags from a wholesaler. So do not expect fresh meat. Then you mix with vegetables and noodle and you bring your bowl to the guys who will cook for you. You can eat as much as you can but you can be charged $3 for wasting the food. There are no other dishes. Desserts are watermelon, jelly. We went there and we spent $52 ($13/ adult) which is costly for a simple food. This place might be different from the nearby fast food chains that why people are so excited about it.

I don't see too many Mongolian BBQ restaurants anymore so it's always a good treat to feast on Mongolian BBQ. But, Caesar's has been in business for a long time now. However, the owners are Chinese and not Mongolian. I've always liked Mongolian BBQ and this place is all you can eat. If you have never eaten Mongolian BBQ, the way Mongolian BBQ works is that you grab a bowl and select thin cuts of meats (beef, chicken, pork or lamb), vegetables, cooked noodles and pour on various sauces to your liking / tastes. Take all the food in your bowl to the cooks who will cook your food (with a big stick) on a big round grill and return your food to you on a clean plate. The food selection is diverse yet simple (a wok-ing contradiction?). I skip the egg rolls, fried won tons and even the soup and focus on the meat and vegetables. Oh... don't forget to ask for the server for the 'shao bin' with your meal. They toast them in the back and bring them to your table much like 'nan' at a Indian restaurant. The place is clean the staff is friendly which always make eating out more enjoyable.

I've driven past this place hundreds of times during my three years of living in Lakewood. My friend kept telling me that it wasn't good, but one night I decided to give it a shot. Walking in, I thought it looked pretty nice. They had good ventilation there so it didn't smell all greasy while you're eating. The staff was really nice. I saw them help out first timers, adding different sauces and teaching them how to make a good plate. Not that many people there so they cooked the food up really quickly. A couple of things I didn't like during my visit. First, was the price. Most Mongolian BBQ places I've been to are under $10 and offer an non all you can eat option. My girlfriend had one small plate and they charged her full pop. Then when she asked for a refill after the bill came, they just took my card and charged for another drink without saying anything. I just happened to notice the total was higher at the bottom. At least tell me if you're charging me more, you know? Then it came to the bad times. About midnight, I started feeling sick. Really sick. Food poisoning. I vomited up my entire meal and then whatever else you can tie in with the food poisoning that I don't want to gross people out with. I was sick for 3 days and lost almost 9lbs. Not sure what was dirty or not fresh, but I am definitely not eating there again.

We had dinner here tonight and it was pretty good, I guess. $13/per person for the buffet. Yeah about 8 different sauces and dips. Selections of meat includes chicken, pork, lamb, and beef. The chefs seemed cool but the waitress was kinda rude. 10 mins into our meal, she gave us our check. Ended up staying there for an hour and a half. No water/soda refills neither. Beware of the sucky service if you're not white.

I've been coming her religiously for nearly 10 years. Yes, it changed hands about a year ago, and it's even better than before. My favorite place in the entire area to eat. Very clean, and that's half the battle in a buffet!

unlike Great Khans...this place will let you double-bowl!!! The first time here, the hostess actually told me to use a seperate bowl for the meat, and another for the veggies! She also told me "don't put a lot of noodles in your bowl so you have room for seconds!" The noodles aren't tasteless as someone else in an earlier review said, perhaps he just sauced it wrong. They have a guide as to "how much sauce" to use for a particular taste....so that should eliminate the fear of "overwhelming sauces" Very good service too!

Been going there for years, moved away and still make the drive back. I love Mongolian BBQ and this is one of the best. The meat/vegetable are all fresh and cooked to order. Their sauces are great as well, tend to be on the salty side so go easy on the sauces. The decor has been updated in recent years to more contemporary taste but the food is still great. Swing by and try it, the price isn't bad at all.

When you're in a noodle mood perfect place to go, since its all you can eat! I like that lamb is a meat option, but you can also get turkey, chicken, or beef. There's quite a few veggies and other add-ins to choose from. Then you get to use a selection of sauces to flavor the dish to your liking. You do leave there pretty full, because since it is all you can eat, you want to get your money's worth =) You may want to check out the sauces and see what different combinations you want to try, that way you portion your trips accordingly. They recently remodeled and the interior was very well done. The staff there are also very nice. Everyone I've ever dealt with has been friendly and very helpful. If you get the Clipper Magazine...look for coupons!

Was almost about to die from starvation so the bf and I stumbled upon this place at dinner time the buffet was not much to choose from and it was not that good either .. they had egg rolls, fried rice - which was actually pretty good, and some fruits and cant remember the rest The mongolian noodles which is the main plate was good, tasted like the genghis khan at cerritos mall. But the price for dinner was a tad pricy.. how many plates of mongolian noodle can you really eat?? Felt kind of ripped off, rather just go to the mall

I love Caesars. I've been going here for about thirty years. A few months ago they remodeled and it's really nice, cute, and very clean inside. The price is great - $12 all-you-can-eat for dinner and like $8 for lunch. The veggies are very fresh and the meat is good. Lots of sauces and friendly waitresses. There isn't a lot of extra stuff in the buffet table - kimchi, a tapioca type desert, jello, oranges, wontons, soup - but I don't think any other Mongolian BBQ I've been to even had those things at all and the bowls you make at the BBQ are plenty enough to eat as it is. They will bring you pocket bread and steamed rice if you ask for it. It's by far the best Mongolian BBQ I've been to. Take note: I would disregard all of the negative reviews from 2008 because they've remodeled and changed owners since then and it's much cleaner and nicer. It was clean and nice when I used to go 30 years ago but then that's 30 years. Also, the BBQ guys DO clean the grills often.

My husband and I went to this place for the first time last week. It is traditional Mongolian food where you fill your bowl with whatever you want and they cook it in front of you. The buffet all you can eat style was great. The pocket bread was awesome and the workers were so friendly and polite. We told them it was out first time and they walked us through the whole line. We used to go to the Los cerritos Mall to get Mongolian but we are definitely switching to this place. The food was just awesome and so fresh and flavorful. Lunch is only $8.95 a person and dinner is only $12.95 a person which is great for all you can eat and free refills on soda. They also have a huge wine selection from affordable to expensive as well as Saki. The only downside is that you don't get to take home what you don't finish. If you don't have time to sit you can also get takeout for lunch $6.99 and dinner for $7.99, you get one box of food so pack your bowl. We have a great new place to eat and have been telling all of our Friends. They also have a TV you can watch while dining. We highly recommend trying this place out. Sun-Thurs 11:30am-9:00pm Fri-Sat 11:30-9:30pm

Dinner, all you can eat is $11.99. The place was the cleanest Mongolian BBQ I've ever been in. We made two trips to the buffet and both times they cleaned the grill just before cooking our food. The service overall is excellent. A couple of times I got up to get something and when I returned my soda was refilled without having to ask. I would like to see a little more variety in the items on the buffet. I also did not see the usual sign at the spice and oil station that instructed you on what to add to get your meal to be various levels of spicy or sweet. There was an employee standing there that made some suggestions. All in all it's pretty darn good Mongolian BBQ (3 and 1/2 stars). No stellar, but I don't expect that from Mongolian BBQ anyway. It's also close to home so that's convenient.

Did I just pay $15 for a $6 plate of food that I can get at the food court? This buffet-bbq place is ok. It looks fairly clean, and the staff is really nice and helpful. There should be enough parking since it's in a larger plaza. The food selection is small (to my standards). You have your usual choices of ingredients to go with the noodles (e.g., mushrooms, meats, tofu, veggies, etc), a variety of sauces for you to combine to your own liking, a soup (yes, just one), and some fruits and jello. Nothing too fancy. Is it any different from the mall? I couldn't taste the difference (but then again, I'm no mongolian bbq connoisseur). I'm guessing the whole selling point is that you can make it taste the way you want it? However, I'm not going to waste ten plates of food just to test the different combinations, and I'm really not going to hold up the long line that already formed behind me while I was mixing the original flavors they have posted. Am I IMPRESSED with this place? Definitely not. Will I come back? Sure, if someone else wants to. In summary: Good service. Ok price. Ok food. Ok decor. The end.

I have been a devoted fan of Caesar's for over 20 years, I even had a dog named Caesar. I'm giving the new owners a solid 4 stars on the restaurant, even though I enjoyed the original Caesar's more, two owners ago. The new owners have improved the decor of the restaurant and have pretty much left the Mongolian BBQ alone (doesn't need to be fixed). They have changed the old Chinese buffet section with mixed results in my opinion... the Kimchi is a nice (Korean) addition but they eliminated some of my favorite dishes such as the sweet and sour pork and the orange chicken. (I used to like the buffet section as much or more than the Mongolian BBQ.) They have added several beers and wines to the restaurant which is a plus... I would personally rather see them have more draft beers since that is a better pairing with Asian BBQ rather than wine.

Went here for lunch with a party of 4. Was my first time, but not theirs. Only chicken, pork, and beef were available as the main meat, but they did have tofu. There was a good variety of sauces and vegetables, but I thought they could've had more than one type of noodle. Still, great for the lunch price of $8.95. I ate a lot and didn't even get to the buffet section...next time...

Been coming here for a few years. However, our last few times have been disappointing. Ive been eating Mongolian BBQ since small kid days; but what's with the jalapeno peppers? It seems like every time I go, my dish gets the residual heat from the previous person's jalapeno peppers. I could complain and I'm sure they'd give me a new plate but I hate to see food wasted.

I've been coming to Caesar's Mongolian BBQ for over 20 years. I've come with greedy folk that eat 'em up (secretly I know the staff is hoping that they leave soon). I tend to eat the same concoction each time that I come....goes like this beef, mushrooms, green onions, pineapples, sprouts, onions, carrots, bell pepper, little noodles, garlic sauce, curry sauce, lemon sauce, chili paste, and oil. Talking about yummy. Oh, don't miss the soup or the kimchee...so tasty too.

I have enjoyed this place on a few occasions. I select a couple of meats, veggies, and rice from the buffet tables and they cook it for me. The people are freindly, service is good, parking ok and nice atmosphere. The meat was tasty, as was the rice and veggies mixed in to them. I also remember noodles in my dish, back in late 2005 - late 2008. I will need to go back, but for now, I have nothing but praise.

No. No, I do not like. The staff here is friendly and attentive, but that doesn't make up for the "meh," mongolian bbq. Honestly, I've had better at The Great Khans in the MALL. The only good thing about eating here last night was that I used my $5 coupon for dinner, and then I left the restaurant and found $100 laying on the floor in the parking lot near my car. That made my night, and that made up for my distasteful mongolian bbq.

This place is amazing for Mongolian BBQ! If you wanna go above the regular Mongolian BBQ from the malls this is the place to go. There are so many options that makes the mall's Mongolian BBQ places look pretty plain. The staff are also very nice and friendly. They even have other foods but I'm not too interested in that, except for the watermelon. Which is quite good too. The only down side is that I have to pay $10 for something that I don't want too eat too much. At the mall's Mongolian places my boyfriend and I split a plate for only $10. Here we each have to pay $10. But still it's good and I actually now will prefer to go here for Mongolian BBQ then the mall.

Been going to Caesar's since 1998 as my wife (g/f at the time) lived there and we figured we'd go in and try it out. The old owners were a lovely asian couple who sold the place about a year ago. The new owners have completely redecorated the place to give it a more "current" look and feel. The bathrooms are extremely clean (read more on this later), there is now a bar area and a big LCD where you can watch Laker games or travel programming as you're grubbin down. As for the food, well, the secret to Mongolian BBQ is knowing how much of the seasonings to add to get the desired taste. Since we've been coming here for a while, I can nail my combination down perfectly and it comes out the way I like every single time. One thing to note, this is an all-you-can-eat so there's really no need to build your bowl like Mt. Everest...though it is funny to sit back and watch people doing that and spilling half their stuff as they walk it over to the chef. The only tip I can pass down to the newbs is to watch the amount of oil you put in your food. If you overdo the scoops of oil, you'll find that you have to part with your food a lot sooner than expected and the bathrooms are only single-person so you may find yourself in an uncomfortable predicament. Otherwise...enjoy!

Finally, I get to dine in a restaurant that doesn't suck! I have lived in the general area for 26 years and had no idea this place existed. We usually go to Big Wok in Manhattan Beach, but this place is closer to us and very good food! Service was great too. Regardless of how busy they were for Sunday Lunch, the two servers on duty came to our table to make sure we were happy more times than I could count. We were also brought FRESH pocket bread - we had to wait a few minutes, but they wanted to make sure we had fantastic bread, not just the stuff that had been sitting there too long. For those of you not familiar with the ways of Mongolian BBQ: There is a white rice option - ask your server to bring a bowl. You can also request that the grill be cleaned before your food is prepared. Again, you just have to ask! The restaurant is very clean, modern and welcoming. The restrooms are just as clean. You can tell people care about their restaurant when the restrooms are that clean. The food was great and the price is right. We have only been for lunch, so when we go to dinner I will hopefully be able to add that 5th star.

The concept of all you can eat Mongolian BBQ was astonishing to me! I love this genre of food, but at Mongolian BBQ restaurants it's ridiculously overpriced for what it actually is, so Mongolian BBQ is like a gimmick you get the privilege to pay extra for, so all you can eat Mongolian... BRILLIANT!!! Anyway, the food was decent enough for me, and cost us around $24 for the two of us late on a Saturday night. NOT BAD!!! :-) The myriad of sauces allow you to tailor the experience to your liking. Plus there are plenty of meats and veggies to choose from. Overall a nice departure from your normal dinner experience!

For a Mongolian BBQ restaurant, I think Caesar's does a great job. Lunch price is around $10 and dinner is $13, which is awesome for the buffet style. First of all, nobody goes to a Mongolian BBQ restaurant for the ambiance, but this place is kept really clean and that is really all that matters. The service is friendly. And the food tastes great (stick with the Mongolian BBQ side though because the other side with the soup and fried rice isn't worth it). But really, I can't find anything to complain about. The whole buffet style (which is how it should be) makes it very enjoyable because you don't have to spend 20 minutes thinking about how you're going to strategically fit 20 lbs of food in a tiny bowl. Take your time and go keep refilling till you're satisfied!

The Good: It's a buffet, so you know. The food is pretty good and the newly remodeled restaurant is nice. Friendly service. The Bad: The admission price is a little up there, but then again, it is a buffet. They replaced their fried rice with some other crap. Try: Everything! Get small portions and experiment with the different sauces, meat, etc. Don't try: Try everything!

I've been a lifelong Mongolian BBQ enthusiast. It is without a doubt my favorite food in the world so far, and Caesar's is my favorite place to enjoy it. I had eaten at this restaurant a few times before the new owner and it was great, but with the new ownership and the remodeled building, this restaurant is significantly better. There are so many options and combinations of vegetables, meats, noodles, and sauces that everyone in the room is enjoying a different kind of Mongolian BBQ. With the freedom to shape your own dish, you can bring out exactly what you want because you control exactly what you put in. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE SAUCES. I fear that some people might negatively judge this restaurant prematurely simply because they didn't use enough sauce in their meal. I made that mistake the first time I went. I didn't use enough sauce, so my food didn't have enough flavor. Once the owner filled me in on the importance of the sauces, I have 110% enjoyed every meal I've had since. I think I've eaten there five or six times in the past two months. Fantastic food, atmosphere, service, and overall experience. I highly recommend it. I've introduced my friends and family, and they both enjoyed it greatly. It's a party for your mouth. P.S. I'm compelled to inform everyone that, contrary to a previous review, Caesar's does in fact serve pocket biscuits and steamed rice upon request.

5 stars for the Mongolian barbecue, 2.5 stars for the Chinese buffet. The lunch price is unbeatable for all you can eat! You must go if you love Mongolian Barbecue or even if you don't, you may still like this place. They have so many different types of sauces to put on the noodles and then once you start to combine the sauces, yum. Go hungry...leave stuffed! My only wish is that they'd add mushrooms to the noodle bar.

I haven't had mongolian since I was little, so I could barely remember what to expect, other than its a buffet. This place is fantastic! Props to the girls at the tanning salon next door for recommending it! We went on a Saturday afternoon, and the buffet special is just under $10. Its clean and fresh, and so surprisingly healthy. You just pile all your veggies and choice of meats onto your plate, pour on your choice of oils/sauces, and hand it off to be stir fried. Its great that you are in control of the oil its cooked with; they dont add any extra when cooking. Although it is what adds all the flavor, its easy to control your calories, and of course I'm always looking for ways to eat out low cal style.

I first starting going to this place when I was in college (20 years ago), and we used to take a big crowd. Although I don't get back there very often, it is a great place to take friends or family for an inexpensive all you can eat meal. The food in the warming bin is kind of generic, but I really do enjoy making my own BBQ concoction and so do the kids. It's a great way to get them to eat their veggies--maybe not th healthiest way, but it works for us.

First time going to a place like this so I dont have anything to compare it to. We came here for lunch and the place was all you can eat. You fill up your bowl with chicken pork or beef and then top it with veggies and sauces. Side note - I actually took all the pork and a lady was waiting for some. Sorry aboot that lady. Now back to the review. I actually filled one bowl with meats and the other with meats and some veggies and stuff. They cooked my bowls pretty fast and it was off to eating. The food tasted under seasoned (i guess i didnt put enough sauces...) but it was good! This would be a good place to go for lunch with a few of your co-workers and talk laugh and be marry!

Went to Disneyland and stayed at Sheraton Cerritos during Christmas. Looking for a buffet place and found this one on Yelp. This restaurant is not big and choice is not much. However, the service is very good and food is tasty. The price is not bad also. Will visit again if in the area.

Great food and great atmosphere. I can't believe there is a Mongolian BBQ place that is this clean! I love their seafood egg drop soup. My daughter also likes it because she can make her own choice on food!

If you crave mongolian bbq, this is the place to go. for only 13 bucks, their buffet surely is worth the try. me and my gf have been looking for mongolian food and we just happened to be in the area so we tried it out. turns out, we would surely come back! choices of meat are pork, chicken, beef and lamb but i always go for the beef and chicken. they also have a guide for every type of sauce you want so you dont have to guess on how many to put in your bowl. it cooks fast, in like a minute, then you're ready to chow! be sure to put sesame on your bowl to add flavor. for 13 bucks, it's worth every penny.

Clean and organized - can be a bit crazy when filled with families. A good value...I see some unhealthy folks in there that just pile it on. I my opinion "all-u-can eat" doesn't mean you should...but if that's what you like this is a good place for you. For me 1 bowl is plenty. Read other reviews for more info. Nice new owners!

$7.95 for all-you-can-eat Mongolian BBQ lunch? That's a sweet bargain. Like what Kyle said about the place, it's really all about the sauces that make this dining experience grand. The recent remodeling helps a lot as well. I am so glad I live very close to this place. ^_^

You eat what you like. You eat as much as you like. You eat as many times as you'd like. It's an all-you-can-eat.. and its the best mongolian bbq I've been to. And not to mention, you control the amount of sauce you consume, which appeals to health-conscious customers! Took a star away only because the steam table items are not that great, most of the time I'm there it seems like its been sitting there for a while. But then again, I only go there for the mongolian BBQ. Was there a few days ago, they are now under new management and starting next month they will be closed for 40 days due to renovations & remodeling. (So the owner tells me) Very friendly woman.. she informed me that the decor will be a lot more colorful, thus, catering more to the younger & late-night crowd. (She compares it to Guppy's) There will also be flat screen TVs and a bar. Wonder how that's gonna turn out..

I try to go here about once a week for lunch with my coworkers. All my coworkers love this place and I agree with them. This place is better than Genghis Khan for a number of reasons. First, you don't need to pile high the noodles and stuff everything to get the bang for your buck. You can take your time and experiment with a variety of different sauces available. I like to put about 3-4 scoops of the spicy sauce, 2 scoop oyster sauce, 1 scoop chili oil. The meat isn't frozen but it also isn't room temperature rotting away. They had plenty of veggies there. The line to get your food cooked isn't very long and the price for the entire lunch is around 10-11 bucks w/ tip. The service is good and it is definitely a great lunch spot. Anytime I go, my tables were always clean, so those who complained probably sat down as soon as a party just left. I went by there the other day only to find out they are remodelling and would be closed for 40 days, what a bummer.

Went last friday around prime dinner time and it wasnt busy. we got seated right away and didnt have to wait for the first round. for my first round, I always do 2 bowls - 1 all beef, the other - all veggies. Then the second round, I just do one bowl. Saves me a a trip and keeps me grubbin. Do it like the pros. Anyways, everything is AYCE! Great variety of meats (beef, lamb, pork, chicken) and noodles and veggies (including tomatoes and bok choy, my fav). The egg rolls are also AYCE. Everything is AYCE - egg flower soup, wontons, kimchee (yes, they had kimchee!), cantaloupe (fresh and ripe), wedges of orange, etc. I can't remember everything. And this place is super clean. so far this is my fav mongolian bbq because of the kimchee and egg rolls. The restaurant owner and staff are all super friendly and courteous. The guy even greeted us, 'plained how it works, and gave us a mini-tour. I didnt want him to feel insulted since he was showin some good ol' fashioned hospitality that you dont get at restaurants these days, so I played along for a sec. But after seeing the eggrolls and line of meats, I wanted to get the show on the road so I said yeahyeahyeah this isnt my first mongolian bbq and the jig was up. Hehehe, he quickly got out of my way and let me proceed. Cant wait to go back! Also, this isnt like korean bbq where you have to do the cooking so another star for that! halleluyyyerrrrr!

all you can eat mongolian bbq?! move aside all you can eat korean bbq-- you've been replaced! JK! this is a totally different genre of food and it definitely is great in its own way. this is just like any other mongolian bbq place-- it has pork, chicken, beef and turkey. then you have your usual combination of veggies, sauce and noodles to top it off. i honestly think this place is great because how clean it is-- nothing like going to some place that you have to cook your own food and feel like you have to clean too, know what i mean? so great price, good food and delightful service-- however, lets be real here all you can eat mongolian bbq is clearly a gimmick because it is so hard to eat more than one plate with all those noodles. haha, but its still worth it-- just dont plan to do anything after you eat here because you will suffer from massive food coma. dont say i didnt warn you, i always pass out after some ayce mbbq! I'm kind of surprised this place wasn't reviewed sooner by anyone on Yelp! I used to frequent this place when I was working in Cerritos in the late 90s. Like the other reviewers said, people who work there are always super friendly and attentive. They really make you feel welcome every time you go. As for food, it is a traditional Mongolian BBQ fare. You get what you want and the guys around the round griddle will cook it for you. I like the idea that I know exactly what is in my food and how it was prepared. At Caesar's, in addition to the Mongolian BBQ buffet station, they have Chinese buffet station as well. This, I don't see too often in other Mongolian BBQ joint so I give them an extra star for that. I'm not sure how much they charge for their all you can eat lunch nowadays but when I used to frequent in the 90s, it was well under $10 and it was one of my first picks for lunch in the immediate vicinity. Now that I know they are still in business, I should pay a visit soon. 4 stars

I went here for the first time for a friend's birthday. There was another large party there that night as well. This is a great place if you want an inexpensive but tasty dinner. You can't beat the price. The decor is very simple but it's clean - which is always important when there's raw food sitting around. The employees were friendly and attentive.

Caesar's was a nice change from the AYCE korean BBQ. The decor is super nice inside for an AYCE restaurant. They have nice booths, and a buffet island with various hot foods like fried wonton skins and spring rolls as well as cold desserts like fruit and tapioca. They have a tv but with no sound and no subtitles. The food was okay. Wasn't spectacular or disappointing. Meats included chicken, pork, lamb, and beef. There were various veggies for your noodles and lots of sauces. Their sauces were definitely the highlight. The wait for your noodles to be cooked sometimes lasted 10 minutes.... a little too long if you ask me. We ended up having two large plates each so it wasn't too bad though i would get more smaller plates if the line wasn't so long. Dinner was $15/person.

Great all you can eat mongolian bbq for a cheap price, clean, fresh great service. i come a little later than lunch or dinner or else its gonna be packed with people .food has great selection of meats, vegtables and sauces. very clean table tops ,very nice music not like other nice restaurants where they play very tacky music because music makes the eating atmosphere complete ,very nice halogen spot lights as well.

AYCE Mongolian BBQ!!!! This place is really good and filling. Best time to go is during lunch instead of dinner because you can save your pocket a few bucks. Take your time and a little at a time so you try all they have and experiment on the different sauce mixtures they have. Make sure you look up on the glass above the sauce selection, there is a guide to help you make sure you sauce your food correctly or it will come out very BLAND. Love the sauces, love the noodles (it is not like the mall, it is more of a bite to it which I love). Service is really good, nice and friendly. Love the LAMB and TOFU!!!

Great service..a huge variety of dishes can be made from the buffet style bar...you can make as big or little plate..I brought my god daughter(3 yrs old), the staff treated her like a princess..the cook even made sure to clean the grill so she did not get any hot sauces mixed in with her dish..you also get steamed rice and fresh baked bread at no additional cost..this place is great for big groups or just pickey eaters who want to see every step of their food prep..good for familes, 1st dates, birthdays, and pre-club grub!

This place is OK. It's a Mongolian BBQ, so you know the drill: You fill your bowl, and they cook it and put it on a plate for you. It taste's pretty good.

The thing about Mongolian BBQ is that you sort of know what you're getting into when you walk in the door, and you have certain expectation. The average place I would give three stars to because the food is not gonna be gourmet but it's gonna taste pretty good and come out fresh. We went to a joint in Fountain Valley a couple years ago that did not have noodles. Yah, no noodles for your Mongolian BBQ. They would get 1 star because that's just silly. This place has good, fresh appearing ingredients and the sauces are good. In addition they have fried rice, fried wontons, shrimp chips and probably something else fried that I'm forgetting. They also have fruit and some other things for dessert and kimchi and a couple little salads. Good food, good sides, reasonable price. I'm sold.

NOT friendly to ppl with food allergies (it is 2011 & CA) Ehhh. Wasn't very impressed considering the many other mong. bbq places I have been to. The food is fine and something to eat, however they apparently think you are going to stash food in your purse and run out with it. Waitress straight up lied to my face, I got a bowl of white rice and it was a large portion, so of course I understand they don't let people take food to go on an all you can eat buffet but I didn't finish the rice and I asked if I could just have the rice to go. She said no. Me- well aren't you just going to throw it away? She said well yea but I don't have any to go boxes. Tell me how they have a to-go dinner special for 7.99 then?? She could of even stapled a bag closed if she was so worried about me taking other food. Didn't want more of it anyway :/

My wife loves this place......the new owners have added a Korean flare to the buffett,.....which I like because of the kimchi.....she preffered the chinese selection they had before. IF you are hungry and can eat alot for a decent price.

I had high hopes for this place after reading some of the reviews here. I'm a big Mongolian BBQ fan, sadly Caesar's let me down. good things: Clean, pleasant environment Buffet items for those who are interested (fried rice, soup, and a few choices for appetizers/desserts) Standard variety of meats and veggies Friendly, fast service bad things: No spices (other than what you can get from the sauces) Only one type of noodle to choose from Sauces were just okay Grill cooks didn't clean the grill once while i was there, just kept piling everyone's food on top of the mess left by the other person No steamed rice option and fried rice had lots of veggies in it (I already have veggies in my stir-fry, why do I want more?) The price for lunch was $8.95 for all you can eat. $2 for my soda with refills. I barely ate one bowl of stir fry. It just didn't do anything for me.

My husband, daughter (2), and I ate her on Saturday night and we were very happy with our meals. My husband and I ate Mongolian BBQ, and we got some of the chinese buffet for our daughter. The buffet food wasn't that good and my daughter really only ate the rice. We will definitely come back to work on our mongolian mixtures; DH thought his wasn't spicy enough, but we also liked that we didn't feel like bloated pigs when we left. The service here is really good and they didn't charge us for our daughter so that was cool too!

Great cuts of meat, diverse sauce selection and the added bonus of pineapple fried rice and won tons included was a huge plus!!! Very clean and the help was so personable! My 12 year old loved it! A new fave!! I updated this review to 5 star as it has become a favorite Mom and Me date place over the last 4 years. My teenage son actually begs for me to take him to "our spot". We love it!

I'm a long time fan of Mongolian BBQ. I've been twice to this restaurant within the past year, and while it isn't perfect, the lunch is a good deal considering you'll be too full for dinner. NOTE: The restaurant CLOSES BETWEEN LUNCH AND DINNER, so do not plan to arrive at 2:15 for lunch (which I've tried to do twice). Yeah, this is the type of restaurant where you gather your vittals, add sauces, and someone woks them for you. I have a minimal sense of smell, so I usually need to really spice my food up: Either my condition is getting more severe, or this place has the weakest hot sauces on Planet Earth. (They now have "recipe suggestions" posted for which sauces to add to create which degree of hotness - I think that they are all under-spiced, so just start one step higher than you usually like your spices and adjust accordingly on your second bowl.) Starting with the buffet, you get those great crunchies (deep fried wonton strips?), a dipping sauce, and a soup, plus some kind of rice (ask for white rice from the kitchen - it took me 2 requests to get it, but it is included as part of the meal). There are oranges (very dried out when I was there on Sat., definitely left over from the previous day) and apples for dessert, should you wish to partake thereof. The meats included beef, pork (which I do not eat), chicken, and lamb on the Saturday that I had lunch. One type of noodles, a few veggies, pineapples: nothing at all extraordinary. The buffet is a necessity. With the addition of an iced tea (free refills, thank you), I spent $16 (including tip, plus an additional $1 into the kitty for the wok attendant), I had a very filling lunch that pre-emptied the need of dinner. Lots of parking, plenty of room (although they seated everyone together in the same area, which seemed kind of odd, until I realized they were doing Spring cleaning in half of the restaurant - that couldn't have waited until their customers had departed?) All-in-all, a filling and adequate meal, the service is spotty, but the place is spotless. Not a place to go if you want sparking personalities on your waitstaff, but just taking it for what it is, I can recommend. Oh, yes, weekend lunch costs more than the $9 price as previously reviewed. And remember the 2:30-4-ish afternoon closing time.

Excellent Food & Service. I went to this place after finding it in a coupon book. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, the staff was extremely nice. First, the waitress brought our drinks right away and then directed us to the buffet and showed us where everything was located. Second, the manager came to us and showed us on how to place the sauces over our food. Her recommendation made our food taste great. We did not have to ask for any help because it was provided automatically by these two employees. I have never received such a great service in an Asian Restaurant. I will definitely go back to this restaurant very soon. Keep up the Great Service.

The place is well decorated since it was remodeled. The prices are unbeatable considering it's all you can eat. Lunch is around $8 on and dinner is around $12. The quality of the meat is alright. It's not great but they have various vegetables that is standard for Mongolian BBQ. They also have recipes on how much sauce and oil you should put in for various flavor. What's unique about this place is they sell various wine and alcohol considering how ordinary the place is. It's bang for the buck especially if your in the area!!

Where are the veggies? I love MBBQ, but this was very disappointing. They have the 4 basic meats, but they weren't even frozen. There was a celebrity picture hanging behind the register. It said, "Caesar's, My Favorite Restaurant. Love, John Stamos." Not to be mean, but I find that very hard to believe. And not exactly a stamp of approval in my book. The Jello was good.

Been here a few times and have enjoyed the experience. It's a buffet, so adjust your expectations accordingly. The food is very good; I like the freedom to create my own meal with the ingredients I like...and then watching it cooked in front of me. The service is excellent; beverages were kept full and plates were cleared regularly. The decor is decent, although the lighting seems a bit dim. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and well-maintained. Overall, a fun, delicious and affordable place to enjoy Mongolian bbq. I'll be back...

My boyfriend bought me some to go for valentines day and have been officially HOOKED ever since then! Lamb, beef, chicken, pork meats with vegtables and a variety of sauces. The more sauces the better!! They have wine and beer here and the staff is nice. They are always closed 2:30-5:00 pm and the prices are not bad at all. Only bad thing I can say is that once you start going your going to find it hard to quit!!

Caesar's mongolian is a beautiful restaurant. i love it there! its only $8.95 for all- you-can-eat mongolian, where I'm pretty sure you can't get anywhere in California. It's very healthy and clean as you choose your own ingredients. If you didn't like your dish, then it's probably your own fault since you make your own sauce. The service was wonderful! Overall, I would definitely be back for more.

A friend of mine took me here, after I raved about Gengis Kahn in Lakewood mall. "This place is authentic," she said. This place is depressing, I thought. Nobody had cleaned, so we napkined off our table and proceeded to the food bar. There was hardly anybody there, including little staff. We had to wait 25 minutes before anybody showed up to cook our food on the giant wok thing. Gengis Khan is much fresher. And cheaper. I made a mental note to pick the next restaurant.

first off, thank you to all put in your reviews! i always go somewhere with a group of friends from work and try somewhere and something new every other payday with them. so one of my friends recommend this place.we had a party of 11 people and here is my review. the restaurant looked very clean and inviting when 3 of us walked in. we were met warmly and were served drinks immediately. the prices were 12.95 each all you can eat ...which i love! and everything looked fresh and delish. our servers, were and on the ball and catered to our every request and refill. they even asked if we would like white rice or something else, sorry i dont remember. but i do remember is the food it was great!! you serve yourself in a bowl packed with sliced beef or lamb or chicken with lots of choices of fresh vegetables with noodles. and many choices of house sauces 6 or 7 types of sauces. then a man cooks it over a heated circular table.and serves it on a plate for you, enjoy! also you must try the egg flower soup, great ! our bill with that many people were just about 20bucks each , gratuity included. would recommend it to all! i would certainly be back with more friends and family. thank you for reading my review!

So like another has said, I have driven past this place LOTS of times not even knowing what it was until I read this sites reviews. I went last night with my partner. We went around 8.. the place was DEAD. I guess we were late though? :P The place is very clean but the decor definitely needs an update. (It reminded me of a Coffee Shop in some dingy Las Vegas hotel) :D We get up to do our lovely Mongolian Fest! WOO! Everything looked pretty good.. but WHERE WAS THE GARLIC? The only Mongolian BBQ Ive had has been at two chinese buffets.. One in La Mirada and one in Fullerton. ( Those places were better AND it's a chinese buffet so the chinese selection is all over the place not limited to like 6 things like this places "chinese buffet" if you can even call it that. The chinese items were below average.. but of course you don't really go for that. Overall the experience was "meh". For $15 each after tip it's definitely not worth it. So doubt ill be going back. *snaps* shoooooooooot!
