This is a great little spot. We stopped here for breakfast and were served by the owner first thing in the morning. The blueberry pancakes were really big and very flavorful, recommend highly. Also had "potato skin hash" because I had never heard of it before and it was amazing. The place is small and in an old building, very much a diner. The quality of the food is not diner though, you can tell that some thought went into the menu and they care about the food. I'll stop by next time I am headed north.
My Wife and I shared the a side of Corned Beef hash and the Potato Skin Hash dish. Wow! Get the Corned Beef Hash for the surprise value alone. It looks nothing like any other I've ever seen. I was impressed by it's hand-crafted goodness. Speaking of hand-crafted, the biscuits are made in house and are wonderful as well. The Potato Skin Hash was another amazing dish. Among the highest echelon of breakfast foods you love but should probably eat sparingly. Everything we had was prepared well and tasted great. Don't miss this one if you are in the area and want a hearty breakfast!
My husband and I opted for breakfast here on Sunday 4th of July weekend before heading back home. The wait was LONG however we didn't mind because from our experience it's usually a good sign. Hmmm... There was this guy walking around, but mostly behind the bar for the most part....his shirt was white and extremely DIRTY not food dirty but DIRTY DIRTY and I must say really grossed me out (he wasn't cooking or I would have walked out). Everyone was really nice but looked frantic/disorganized. They kept apologizing I think they knew it was an off day maybe they were extremely short staffed. A LOT of people were complaining... My husband & I sat at the bar so we noticed it all. My food was pretty good (not sure if it was worth the hour wait out side + plus hour wait inside) & my OJ was delicious. He LOVED his food so we were happy campers when we left. Will give it another try and see what happens.
