Its really nice to see a restaurant that takes great pride in their work. Had some of the best vegan food in my life. They take extra care to make the water taste good (was the first time I had good tasting water in the area), the owners are really nice and held nice conversation. My only problem is the location. They are next to an abandoned grocery store in Antioch. I wish they were closer to walnut creek bc I'd go there every week.

So I think the only vegan things I eat on a regular basis are French fries, but lately I've been trying to become a vegetarian and it is so hard. I was originally gonna go to China Won down the street but I decided to check this place out instead to curve the cravings. This restaurant opened up about 11 months ago and I remember I saw them have a grand opening but I was really reluctant to go. I finally did though and it was one of the best experiences ever! First of all, the food is sooo FRESH. You can taste it, and everything is prepared so deliciously it's hard to believe there's no animal products in anything. I tried the vegan curry "chicken" with rice today and it was so phenomenal; creamy sauce and crunchy veggies paired so perfectly with the tofu chicken. There was no missing out with this dish. I didn't have time to try anything else but I will definitely be coming back. The workers are very nice and welcoming, the overall ambience is quiet and elegant, despite being located in such a dumpy part of Pittsburg. Go Vegan is the epitome of the word hidden gem. I'm hooked!

Excellent place to try if you are in the area! Excellent service & the owners are super friendly & accommodating. We had the Vietnamese crepe which was really really good! The Kale salad was huge & really tasty & unique. We also had a Rice curry dish which was good and your average curry number :) The Banana jack fruit dessert was unique & I've never had anything like it. Delicious & not too sweet. Also their bathroom was exceptionally clean & you know what that means. Clean bathroom could mean a real clean kitchen. I would for sure go back!

BEWARE!! For all strict vegans and lacto vegetarians please note that this restaurant does have some products that contain eggs. After enjoying this restaurant many times, I asked our server what "chicken" they used since I enjoyed it so much. They were very accommodating and brought the package to show us (see attached). I noticed that the "chicken" contains egg albumin powder. I later researched the ingredient and confirmed that it is in fact an egg product. I called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager and explained to him that strict vegetarians and vegans visit this restaurant and expect no egg products. The manager responded with "a lot of vegetarians eat eggs now". I then mentioned that some people have egg allergies, and he responded with, "not that many people have egg allergies". If you are a strict vegan or lacto vegetarian please, please, please beware this this restaurant is not safe for you and does not take responsibility for what could be an honest error.

First time here on a Friday around 2:30 p.m. I drove from the Sacramento area just to eat here and check out the area. Go Vegan is located in sort of a run down strip mall, so it's not really in a nearby area that that you'll want to hang out in before or after your meal. So I would recommend to come, eat and leave! I sat by a small table near the door and found it to be pretty pleasant. My server was also attentive and took care of me right away. For my appetizer, I ordered the Drumstick which was four drumsticks made of battered soy "chicken" and served with plum sauce. They were super good with just enough batter to give it a nice crunch without overpowering the soy chicken meat. For my main dish, I ordered the Vegan Chicken w/ Lemongrass & Chili and was impressed. The lemongrass was very flavorful and memorable and the dish was served with just the right amount of spice (medium). I would absolutely come back here the next time I am in the area and look forward to trying other things on the menu.

Thanks Brandi, John B and fellow Yelpers for recommending this place. We ate here yesterday and loved it! When we looked at the menu it seemed similar to Loving Huts' menus. When we asked our server he said it wasn't. He told us that a couple owned and ran the place. There were so many items on the menu--we had a hard time narrowing it down to just a couple of choices, We ordered: Fried Wonton filled with tofu and veggie ham and a lightly sweet sauce--so delicious! Kale salad---we loved it too! My vegan, kale loving husband declared it phenomenal! We also got the crunchy noodles with vegetables---perfect! I love any kind of crispy noodles and there was a nice variety of freshly sautéed veggies. The portions here are huge. Mr Rinky and I are big eaters and there was more than enough for us, especially with an order of brown rice. The service was friendly and helpful. Wish they weren't so far away. We'd love to go there with about 8-10 people nd try lots of different appetizers and entrees. A child at the table next to us ordered a bowl of won ton soup---it looked so delicious. It must have been because she finished it. Although they have only been open a few months they already seem to have a loyal following! Next time we're in Antioch (maybe at the nearby Black Diamond Mines) we'll DEFINITELY set here again!

It's so great to have a location in this area that does not serve meat! Food is so great that even if you are non-veg, you won't miss the protein! We got the crispy noodles and sea weed salad - both were fantastic! Crispy noodles are like chow mein but with out the saltiness, and the crushed peanuts were a tasty addition. The seaweed salad came with a sweet and sour dressing, but none was needed for this fresh goodness with slivered carrot and bean sprouts. So good!! And the service was immediate and good humored. They will see us again for sure!

I can't stress enough how good this place is! It's one of the best vegan food restaurants out there. So tasty, better then any restaurant. I go here at least twice a week. My new favorite is the crispy noodles and spicy beef soup! Soooo good! Thai iced tea in almond milk and the frozen jack fruit. I highly recommend this place!

I came here after leaving quickly's as I was in the mood for some noodles. I yelped noodles and Go Vegan popped up. I've never heard of this place and saw that it was really close so I thought to get it a try. It was hard to spot the restaurant first as the area is known for the grocery store, hair extensions and little caesars. I believe the hair store had closed and the restaurant seemed to look like it would have been next door to the hair place. It is almost hard to miss as the door is small and the sign is small. But at least you'll never have a hard time finding parking. A nice gentleman greeted my immediately and gave me a menu to look at. I placed a to-go order for the garlic noodles (pictures of the garlic noodles that were posted by other yelpers looked exactly the same). The noodles were yummy (not over cooked). I only wished that the noodles had more of a garlic punch to it as the garlic taste was a bit too subtle for me. I did see other choices so I think I'll try out those choices once I'm in the area again. Pricing seems fair and portions are nice.

An unassuming, humble restaurant full of delicious food, fanciful drinks, and infinite possibilities... this is the story of Go Vegan. The location is less than ideal for yours truly. Antioch isn't the easiest place to get if you are car-less, but I was lucky enough to enlist the help of Rosanne P. and Richard A., some of the coolest vegan friends I know. They offered to take me here today, and I was super grateful, as I probably wouldn't be able to try Go Vegan without some help in the automobile department. Despite a few hiccups in service, I quite enjoyed the food served here. We tried a little bit of everything, as the entire menu is 100% vegan. We decided to go family style so we could sample more items For starters, we opted for the Egg Rolls, the Papaya Salad, and the Won Ton Soup. Our waiter forgot to bring the soup, but as it turned out, we ordered TOO much food, so it wasn't a big deal (he seemed kinda new and nervous, but I'm sure he will get the hang of the waiter game). For entrees, we went with the special Pad Thai, Lemongrass Chicken, Fish Claypot, and Combination Fried Rice. I loved the Pad Thai. The fake chicken was yummy! Mock meats are pretty hit or miss, but I enjoyed this version. The noodles were perfect: not soggy, not clumpy, but just right. The sauce was pretty light, so it didn't feel heavy and overpowering like some other places. I would definitely order this again! My favorite dish of the day. The Fish Claypot was definitely another winner... the texture wasn't overly fishy, but it was interesting. Not sure how to describe it, but it was tasty! Don't let the name fool you, it's delicious. The Combination Fried Rice is just that... fried rice. I thought it was a little overpriced for what you get, even though it's a pretty heaping portion. This was the only thing I probably would not order again. The coffee with condensed milk was lovely! They didn't give you the fancy dripper system to make it at your table in traditional Vietnamese style, which was a little disappointing, but it was still a hit. Coffee + sugar + almond milk (I think) = awesome awesome awesome! I think the papaya salad was a little spicy, as was the veggie chicken dish. I felt like my mouth was burning throughout the whole meal. I can usually handle some heat, so I would say a little lighter on the chilis so everyone can enjoy it, even those who prefer a mild sauce. The music was really awesome... it's like 90s R&B and pop songs, but without the vocals. Sort of similar to the backing track for a karaoke bar. They were playing some All-4-One, a little Celine, a little Mariah... we had fun singing along and getting nostalgic. Very enjoyable tunes! The owner was really friendly and said sorry for the soup situation, but we instantly forgave him. Now I just need to make more friends in Contra Costa County who will bring me here for a lunch date!

Prices here are very reasonable, the portions are a good size, and the food is absolutely delicious. The #93 vegan pork chop is amazing. The garlic noodles and egg rolls are also good. They have a wide variety of options on their menu and the staff is very friendly.

Ever since I found out about Go Vegan from reading John B.'s review, I had it bookmarked and wanted to try it. I thought wow, Antioch of all places? But I'm glad more vegan spots are opening up! In order to avoid traffic, I decided the best time to go would be a weekend. So today, my fellow Yelp friend and friend IRL (in real life), Brandi W., and I along with my BF ventured off to Antioch. The drive was pretty smooth, no traffic at all on this Sunday afternoon. We walked into the restaurant and while we waited a minute or so to be seated, a nearby customer proudly told us that it's all non-GMO and they use some organic ingredients too. I thought that was a cool first impression! We went family style and ordered several dishes to share such as egg rolls, papaya salad, lemongrass chicken, fish claypot, pad thai and fried rice. We also ordered won ton soup which never came out but the owner apologized and we didn't mind as we ordered too much! No biggie at all. I agree with Brandi W, the waiter seemed kinda new and nervous but he'll get the hang of it. I enjoyed all of the dishes - they all seemed to have a spicy kick. Normally I can't handle spicy foods but surprisingly I could handle these. My faves were the pad thai and I enjoyed the texture in the egg rolls - like a taro or potato texture. I also enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee and the fried banana we had for dessert. I thought the drive out to Antioch was worth it as we enjoyed the food. We may be venturing off to Antioch more often now!

My husband and I have gone here a couple times and the food was great. We basically tried to try everything that fellow yelpers recommended. I had the yummy "huge" kale salad twice, the "chicken" w/ lemongrass and chili which my husband (who is not a vegetarian or vegan) which we both loved, the flavor so we perfect, also had the garlic noodles, they were pretty good (my favorite GN are from Eleve in Walnut Creek... Drool) and got the mojo mojo rolls. The peanut sauce tasted a little off for me but maybe that's what mojo sauce is supposed to taste like? It doesn't taste like tikka sauce which is what I was anticipating. Lastly we had a lemonade and a mango smoothie, both great but a little expensive IMO at $3 for the amount you get and no refills. Overall very happy and we would go there more often if it were in Brentwood. The location isn't in a very good area.

I was very surprised to find a vegan restaurant in the area. The food is good. The kale salad is amazing. We are looking forward to trying everything on the menu.

Go Vegan is aptly named in that one should go to Antioch if they wanna try legit Vietnamese Vegan food. I had only been to Antioch one other time, so I can't really say whether or not this place is conveniently located or not. However, after trying this place out, I have a feeling I'm gonna be visiting this part of the (very) extended East Bay much more often. It's a clean brand spankin' new place, so it's already got that going for it. Even if the strip mall locale leaves a bit to be desired. I'm not sure where they found the waitress, perhaps she was the only person in Antioch that is Vegan, but she was really nice and great on the customer service side, despite appearing to be new to the business and Vietnamese food in general. Luckily this wasn't my first rodeo. When it come to Vietnamese cuisine, I know what I like. Bun Bo Hue Chay, Com Chien, Chay, and Goi Cuon Chay. Butchery of the Vietnamese language aside, these are my go to's when trying any new Vietnamese place. Go Vegan does these mainstays and more, all in delicious fashion. They were offering a free egg roll since it was grand opening period. That too was well made, with a tasty dipping sauce. I have a feeling they will be offering this "grand opening" offer for a long time to come. The Combination Fried Rice was a hit! Little bits of everything were tossed in, leading up to a mouthful of some of the best fried rice you'll find anywhere. We got the Lemongrass Chick'n which I loved the flavor of. It was really well cooked where the spices actually stayed on the "meat". While it was a bit chewy, I loved that they included lots of veggies with this dish. Many places that we frequent often leave veggies as a garnish, despite being a "Vegan" or "Vegetarian" restaurant. The only thing that wasn't amazing was the Bun Bo Hue. It was much more brown in color than I am used to, and lacked the spicy kick that I love. Then again, it was just perfect for my babygirl who doesn't crave the heat as much as I do. So in a way, it was good since I could add as much Sriracha to my portion until my heart's content. If that's not enough, there's even Vegetarian fishless sauce at the table, to boost the flavor a bit more. The Fried Banana w/Ice Cream was heavenly. Perfectly, lightly fried naners practically melted in your mouth. That's even before you get to the vanilla ice cream that was so creamy, it was hard to believe it was dairy free. I don't believe they make their own ice cream, but I really couldn't guess what brand it was. And this is coming from someone who has tried ALL the brands out there. DO NOT leave here without getting a Thai Iced Tea and/or a Vietnamese Coffee. Both of them were unidentifiable from their dairy laced counterparts. I had never had a decent Vegan Vietnamese Coffee before, so this was a particular treat for me. It's interesting to find such a restaurant in a faraway suburb. They don't appear to belong to any "Supreme Master" chain, but ya never know. You certainly wouldn't be able to tell other than the bright green color scheme. I'm just happy there are newfound Vegan options way out here in the middle of nowhere. It's an added bonus that they just so happen to serve up some of the best food in the entire bay area.

Owner is super nice! Love this place! This visit I tried the Vegan Thai Ice tea with sweet condensed vegan milk - Seriously this is like dessert. Kale Salad - oh so good! Fresh Greens in a vinaigrette with crispy vegan meat on top. Rice Clay Pot - Vermicelli noodles & mushrooms on top of rice in a clay pot. Yum Fried Banana with a scoop of vegan ice cream. OH YEAH! I love the service, the cleanliness and the food - I Will Be Back!!

After months of begging I finally drug my love here. He was afraid because it's in the ghettoish part of town. We had egg rolls Mongolian "beef" and garlic noodles. Food was so very good I was amazed I wasn't eating meat. Texture was there flavor was there. Noodles were delicious! Service was prompt and water glass was always full! Customer 4 lyfe! :-p

Hats off to the chef!! We had a party of 8 for a birthday dinner. Every single item was delicious! We each tried one another's plate and all plates were well seasoned and delicious! I personally had the Pad Thai which was amazing! The vegan shrimp was very close to real shrimp which I can't even get over!! The lemon grass plate was also finger licking good. The ONE and ONLY issue was that the food came out one plate at a time so we all started at different times and the birthday girl was the last to get her plate and actually had to wait for a while. All is forgiven because we could see the care and attention put into each individual plate so the wait was understandable. We will be going back again!

It is really great to have a great vegetarian / vegan restaurant in the area. The staff is extremely friendly and the place is very clean with affordable prices. I had the crispy noodles and the fried bananas with rice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious, can't wait to go back!!

I love this place and I am here weekly (sometimes more). Lots of food for an incredibly fair price! The gentleman at the front is always so nice. There is a small dining room but we usually take it to go. I recommend the egg rolls and the garlic noodles with added tofu. Also, for the people that are saying this is in the ghetto... it is very clear you've never actually been to the ghetto ;).

I wanted to add since my experience is always amazing. We ordered the thick rice noodle and fried rice. Each was so flavorful and satisfying. We also ordered the papaya salad and it was on point!! I will be in for lunch for one of these salads. We had the jackfruit smoothie and I can't pass up the coffee when here. Lol. Last time I went in I was offered a sample of his new dessert, which I found on the menu tonight. It is so awesome to see an inspired restaurant owner!! Love Go Vegan!! All my east bay vegans let's support this family so we have the diversity we deserve, out here in the sticks!

This place is AMAZING!!! The quality of the food and customer service hands down the best I've had in a really long time! We had various items from the menu: for appetizers the spring rolls and the Mojo mojo! Omg the MOJO MOJO was to die for! My fiancé had the spicy thick noodle combination soup, I had the thick pan fry noodles with tofu and vegetables. I definitely see this business striving quickly their food is not only delicious and full of flavor but is healthy and affordable.

I am so happy I want to cry. Why? Because we actually have a spot in east county that is vegan aka healthy. I by no means am vegan, or vegetarian for that matter, but love eating at these types of places since I am very health conscious. I fell in love with Go Vegan. Please don't ever leave, please! The husband and wife were super friendly, humble and all around great people. I plan on coming here again and again. The food is soooo good. Like, my picky @$$ husband ate all of the lemon grass chicken and had no idea it was tofu. Hella.frickin.good. To those who are hesitant or not sure they want to try this place: GO! You will NOT be disappointed. It's healthy, and delicious, I promise you won't be disappointed. I've totally found my new spot!

I rarely leave reviews, yet this is an exception since I'm SO happy to find an all vegan restaurant out in this area!! I visit family here pretty often and as a vegan, dining options are limited. My family was so excited to take me to Go Vegan, they being omnivores who happily accommodate my plant-based preferences as much as possible. We ordered an abundance of Asian offerings, plus a kids spaghetti and meatballs, which not only did my nephews (21mo and 3yrs) love, but so did the adults. All the food was super tasty, especially the Mojo Mojo and Pad Thai. And knowing there's no chance of fish sauce or egg or any other non-veg ingredient finding its way into my meal was such a treat in and of itself. Service was very attentive and prompt. Ambiance is clean and friendly if otherwise pretty standard for a small, casual Asian restaurant. Go Go Vegan!!

This place is amazing! The service is great, prices are reasonable and the food is soooo good! I love the mock meat and the mock "fish" is so cool and tasty. I got the Mojo Mojo rolls again and a avocado smoothy that wss aweeeesome. The place is clean and the energy is so positive. I brought my whole family who eat meat and they ALL loved it! Im so happy there is a place like this finally in Antioch. DEFINITELY recommend. SPREAD THE WORD AND THE SUPPORT FOR THE AWESOME FAMILY RUNNING THIS ONE OF A KIND RESTAURANT.

Tonight was even better then the first visit. Enjoyed the garlic noodles, asparagus dish, Fried tofu, & chicken curry with brown rice. So yummy. My kids loved the noodles & tofu! So good for all vegan!

Love this place!! Awesome food, huge menu. It was very empty when I went, so I hope they stay open. I got the seaweed salad & it was delicious. Only complaint was it's kind of an quietly awkward ambience, the only guy working was just standing, looking around. I'll probably just do to-go next time. But I will be back!

Ok, so obviously these are my folks. I always have a lovely experience. Today we tried a new dish that was insane. It was a fried prawns and potato. And they have super yummy bell peppers and onions that top it. Omg, my oldest and i fought over it. I will definetely order next time I come in. Our noodles and tofu were equally as yummy and satisfying and my papaya salad is ALWAYS amazing. Go Vegan is also the spot for kids. My four year old chops it up with the server while we wait for our food. And I think this is okay. Lol. Super laid back and a genuine loving environment. I absolutely love this place. And I think they love us. Lol. Of course, with good food, one can be a hit. But with real love, one can be gold. :) We desperately need more restaurants like this in the deep east bay! One love, my friends!

Hands down, this is one of the best restaurants in Antioch. Ever since my boyfriend and I came across this place a couple months ago, we've been coming here nearly every weekend! The people who work here are always so friendly and inviting. The food is never a disappointment - our favorites are the kale salad, papaya salad, and pad thai. If you're ever in the area, definitely check this place out!

I love this place. Fantastic hole in the wall. The bun xeo (vietnamese crepe) is super delish and produce is always fresh and crisp. U can't get friendlier service than here. U will instantly forget that ur eating vegan bc it all tastes so savory and on point. I highly recommend this place to all meat eaters out there to have a healthier alternative and still b 100% satisfied with flavor and freshness :)

This place is a hidden treasure. The food here is amazing! I had the pot stickers and I have to say they taste better than "normal" pot stickers. I also got to enjoy the garlic noodles and they were great. The cherry on top is how fast and friendly they are. I will definitely eat here again.

A little place in a pretty vacant shopping plaza. We came on new year's day. The owner was so cheerful! He greeted us very warmly! My brother's allergies were acting up. This may be the first restaurant I've ever been to that serves Kleenex! Awesome! He gave us complimentary tea, and the excess of my brother's jackfruit smoothie. The food was good, but this is a place where it's definitely best to order family style; the noodles are 'just' noodles, the beef is beef with a few rice crisps and lettuce. Tamarind beef was a little dryer than I expected, but good. My brother's yellow curry was really good! As were the garlic noodles. I'm not in this area often, but would definitely go back when I'm in the area!

Best and only vegan restaurant around. All of the dishes are consistently delicious and fresh. Our family favorites are the egg rolls, drum sticks, garlic noodles and combo fried rice. Yes the area is super sketchy but certainly worth the ride to pick up the food and bring back home. Eating there is OK but don't expect anything beyond basic however it's clean. Overall the place serves up amazing dishes.

Awesomely delicious vegan food located in a somewhat sketchy part of the neighborhood... We've always had good service, and the food never disappoints. We were most excited about having the potstickers, because every other Asian restaurant the potstickers have meat. Again, worth going to despite the area.

Although I love veggies, I am not a vegetarian... let alone a vegan! When I was invited by a friend to have lunch at this new spot in Antioch, I was not thrilled but I was curious enough, as I am fond of all sorts of Asian cuisines. Boy was I surprised! Now after my THIRD visit I can share with you that the food is tasty and deliciously fresh! The prices are very reasonable and the service is prompt, attentive and accommodating to all of our requests. Let me suggest some dishes to try: The Vietnamese Crepe (Bahn Xeo); the Spring Rolls (Goi Cuon); the Egg Rolls (Cha Gio); the Rainbow Salad; the Steamed Kale tossed with a savory ginger sauce! Gosh, now I am hungry for more! I shall endeavor to try every single menu item! Yummmm! Bon appetite!

Great place - the owner is nice, the food is good, and the prices are fair. Unfortunately the area has gone downhill and the restaurant no doubt suffers business-wise, so I hope more people come and support this business.

A vegan spot in Antioch? Whelp has frozen over! This place was delish too. Definitely a spot that I'm coming back to when I visit my parents. The owner was really nice! Customers get a free pot of loose leaf jasmine tea. It was raining that day too so mmmm! We had the eggrolls, they were good. And the Tofu & Veggie Noodles? I forgot the name, dammit. But yea, that was good also. Not typically a fan of tofu but I could tolerate this. The thai tea was fire! I need once more. And I tried the salty lemonade (the name was enticing) and after he explained how he made it, I was ready to taste. It tasted good. Definitely something I'd have if my throat was sore or needed an extra digestive boost. My experience here was great. I'll be a regular while I'm here for the holidays.

I love this place for their wide selection and friendly service. Personally I like things that are spicy to be VERY spicy, so it's good that they have hot sauces available. Almost everything on the menu that I have tried is good, a lot of things were different than I expected them to be, though still really tasty. If you're vegan this is a real gem since there is a very limited selection in the Antioch/Pittsburg area. I'm happy I live close by.

For a vegan in East County this place is a godsend. Delicious food, great owners and staff, and an extensive menu that I'm having a hard time getting through because everything I've tried so far is amazing. Stellar egg rolls and potstickers, a kale salad to die for, and pad Thai and fried brown rice that make for awesome leftovers. I can even have the Thai iced tea since it's nondairy! LOVE this place.

I loved their egg rolls! The plantain ones are tasty too! I just had the #64 and it was delicious:) The vegan curry chicken is great too. Their sour sop smoothie is light and refreshing.

DELICIOUS!!!! I am so happy I found this place. The Mojo Mojo was my favorite. Since I go to school not too far away I would definitely go back and fill up on the appetizers. I felt there was a lot of food so next time I will share a plate. The prices are ok but not to eat there every day if you are a student. I also noticed that some Vegan restaurant use MSG and it makes me feel like I'm going to explode and it gives me migraines. Go Vegan does not use MSG. I am so thankful for that. I hope that they plan on expanding hopefully to Solano County so I don't have to pay bridge toll.

My very first time coming to this place. My first dish was vegan chicken curry vermicelli. So good! This place is a gem in a rough. I also tried sour sop drink. Delicious! I'm definitely coming back and try different dishes.

Came here on a Friday night about 1/2 hr before closing and the owner was very welcoming. I've been meaning to try this place for a long time but convincing my bf to come here was the hardest part. Neither one of us are vegan or vegetarian and my bf loves his meats. I think this place is a must try for everyone! My bf and I both enjoyed the food and the kind service! We got the potstickers, banh xeo, stir fried noodles, and garlic noodles... And I even ordered a thai iced tea. My favorite is the Banh Xeo and it's a must have! I was very surprised by the "shrimp" as I've never had fake shrimp. The thai iced tea also tasted just like regular thai iced tea! I have to admit that the "meats" of this place is excellent and the flavors are on point! The garlic noodles were perfect, not too oily and not over powering with the garlic, perfectly balanced in my opinion. We had so much food that we had enough for leftovers for another meal. All in all the total was about $30 which I think was worth it! I can't wait to come back and try the rest of their menu! Also, when I was there a couple had walked in about 10 mins after closing and the owner was still very kind and let them order take out, he even very patiently answered all their questions about the vegan menu! We left about 20-30 mins after closing and the couple was still there and asking questions. The patience this man has is amazing and his customer service is on point! I can't wait to try more

We started with the fried wontons followed by the broccoli beef. Both were really delicious. The sauce was just right and the service was great! We were so excited to see this place while traveling through. As vegans, it can be really hard to find places to eat out so this place hit the spot! The prices are really reasonable. An appetizer, one entree and rice were all under $16 so it was a deal too! We will definitely return if we're in the neighborhood again, especially since we were to full to sample one of their vegan sundaes.

84 items on the menu, fast service, delicious food and much more. Ive been here multiple times. My goal is to try everything on the menu. The main server is fast and always looking to make people smile and the owner is by far one of the best i've met my entire life. The quality of the food is excellent and extremely healthy. Be sure to try the Mojo-Mojo appetizer and the Stir Fried Prawns next visit. There "Exquisite".

I'm not vegan, I just love ALL food :). This place was sooo good that I truly didn't realize I wasn't eating meat. We ordered take-out that included the kale salad, lemongrass chicken, combination rice, and garlic noodles. OMG everything was good! My favorite was the kale salad...just amazing (and I'm not a big fan of kale). The place is amazing and I would love for them to open for lunch on the weekends. . . wink wink ;-)

So friggin good! I pretty much want to eat there every day. I am thrilled that there is a vegan restaurant in Antioch. Good vegan food is hard to find, especially in East County. I have tried several dishes so far, and they have all been fantastic. Beef and broccoli? YES PLEASE! You'd never guess it's not actually meat! And, I am especially excited that they have Rice Dream ice cream because it's really hard to find in stores. Come check this place out, you won't be sorry!

Love love love this place! It's in a sketchier area in Antioch so don't be surprised when you go there. We got there and were immediately greeted and seated. I'm Vietnamese so I'm usually very picky about vietnamese food.. But I loved the food here! Reminded me of my mom's cooking.. Except it's all vegan of course. We tried a few things off the menu.. The canh chua (sour soup) was absolutely delicious!! Definitely recommend it! We also had the Bun Bo Hue (noodle soup), I thought it was ok but my sister loved it. We also had the garlic sautéed chicken as well as the garlic asparagus. Both very tasty! Service is superb! The food came out really fast and our waiter tended to us quite regularly! We never had to wait around for service or the check! I really hope this place stays around because it's a diamond in the rough. You can always grab it to go if you don't like the area ;-)

OMFG! So freaking good. Best vegan food ever! I don't like the location but the food is so good I'm not going deduct any star for that. I will be coming back for sure. Customer service seem very friendly also. Love love love!

I've been Vegan for about 10 months and I'm pretty serious about that lifestyle. for the most part I grow my own food but when I want to go eat great vegan food I'm usually going to Concord,Berkeley,Oakland or SF.. that's a 30 minute drive + toll that I get to avoid now! Go vegan's menu says " no meat, no dairy, no eggs, no gmo's, no msg" and that's incredibly important to me. The owners were so friendly and the waitress was super sweet. My hopes are that my vegan meetup groups will come and pack the house and bring this place the business that it greatly deserves. BTW, the vegan drumsticks were incredible!!!!!!

Finally! A place in town I can enjoy everything on the menu. I would compare this to veggie today in concord. The staff is spectacular as well as the food. I'm making a point to try the whole menu. Give this place a try. No complaints yet :) thank you for opening!!!

Decided to give this new place a try, mostly because of all the positive comments. Very powerful flavor profiles & attentive service. Huge portions that won't break the wallet. I will be back. Strongly recommend.

Really really good Vietnamese inspired food! Came here with my family and the portions and prices were great, we ordered dishes to be shared and everyone loved their meal. Vegetables were fresh and I loved all the herbs they used, the dishes also came out incredibly fast. Our waiter, who is also the owner, was really nice and had a lot of passion for what he does. This is one of the rare Asian restaurants I would actually come back to because I feel that quality and service is exceptionally good, and the food tastes like how your Asian grandmother would make it!

I'm not a vegetarian and definitely not a vegan. But I know eating like a vegetarian is a much healthier alternative to heavily processed food and hormone induced meats. I walked in with a pretty strong sense of skepticism because I know Vietnamese food and I love love love me some Vietnamese food. I immediately forgot that this was a vegan Vietnamese restaurant. The food was amazing. It was exactly what I expected an authentic Vietnamese restaurant would serve. We had the he Bun Xieo, spring rolls, rainbow salad, bun Bo hue, combination fried rice, and curry chicken with vermicelli noodles. Everything we ordered was top notch Vietnamese cuisine. We finished off with fried banana and vegan vanilla ice cream. The ice cream texture maybe on the need to be acquired side but the fried banana was on point! Will I be returning here? Duh!

Been here a few times and the food is always good, with generous portion. The service is always quick and friendly. I tried different dishes and my favorite is the spicy noodle soup. The spring rolls never disappoint. Also love the kale smoothie. Ordered the curry fried rice last night but it lacked flavor. Over all this place is solid.

I love the happy atmosphere and it's so refreshing to have more vegan options in the East Bay. I love this place and it sure beats driving to Berkeley for Vegan.

First time trying this restaurant and man am I impressed! I ordered a #44 to go and it was absolutely amazing. I typically stay away from soy based food because I am not a fan of the texture but this dish was great. So glad to find a good vegan restaurant in the area. I will definitely be coming back!

Food was great :) Go there!!! Support them. It's about time we have a good vegan option in the area. Although it's enjoyable for vegans, vegetarians, and carnivores alike. I tried the shrimp entree and was pleasantly surprised. Good flavor and it's amazing how similar the texture was to actual shrimp. Not identical but definitely comparable. Complimentary egg rolls (grand opening special) were really, really good. Soup was great too. I've had other vegetarian/vegan Vietnamese soups that have been bland, and some "vegetarian" versions rely on a meat based broth to add depth/flavor. This soup had neither of those components, and was instead flavorful and 100% free of meat and meat by-product (as is everything on their menu). Also, the owner was really friendly and happily shared his enthusiasm for the food he offers. Most places I've been to share similar attributes-customer service is either phony or lacking, and there is little care that goes into the quality/integrity of the product. It's nice to meet a business owner who is genuine and mindful of the latter. Treat yourself :) And support a small business that supports a big cause.

I came here one day to try their vegan spring rolls and enjoyed it so much I returned the next day to order more. They're eggrolls are also delicious especially with the sauce that it comes with. I took my family there last week and I must say we enjoyed the different entrees we ordered as we each tried each others plates. The owner is extremely hospitable and very welcoming. He makes sure every customer is well served and taken care of. If you want to try something new definitely go and try this place out. It's definitely worth a visit.

Delicious food and wonderful experience! My boyfriend and I showed up a half hour before closing and we were greeted with the utmost kindness. We were seated immediately and the owner was extremely friendly. Our food came very quickly after ordering and was absolutely delicious! The portions were large and the prices were cheap. Since everything there is vegan and cooked with a lot of ""heart" (as the owner delightfully put it), I felt very energized after eating. Contrary to the feeling I usually get after eating a lot (which is sleeply lol). Ont top of the food and customer service being great, I enjoyed the intimate, cozy, and welcoming atmosphere. I almost felt like I was relaxing at home. I highly recommend this place. Definitely the best place I've eaten at lately :)

Great food and super friendly service!! Finally a vegan spot in Antioch! The food is excellent and I will give 5 stars when there are more gluten free and soy/alternative meat free options on the menu. Otherwise, well worth the visit and totally affordable. Plus, they deliver!!

They're actually open until 9! Tried this place out with my sister, everything on the menu is vegan (duh) they use soy as a meat substitute. Tried their kale salad and it was amazing. Many textures and flavors. Their spring rolls are filling and delicious. We order them every time we come here. Try their salty lemonade- it's heaven. Best Thai iced tea I've had. The owners are incredibly friendly. They even have a smoothie selection. Must try, hope they do well. It's nice having this option in a town dominated by fast food.

At last a veggie place in east bay!! Great veggie food with mock meat. Reasonable prices and a great alternative to oaklands golden lotus as menu is similar. We tried tamarind beef and claypot rice and liked it. Will visit often!!

Owner is a genuine guy wanting to bring positivity through food. Great variety on the menu, herbs and spices for American taste buds. Aaron M below is soft and his review reeks of cowardice, check this place out it's definitely worth it because there's no place really like it in the surrounding area, healthy for you, and it's tasty food. Keep these small places alive! Small business is part of the American fabric!

This place is really good. I'm unsure if it's all vegan meat or what because it taste like real meat. And the server I think his name was Taylor is very cute and a nice guy that really knows his stuff!!

My diabetic husband and I went to Go Vegan for lunch today and we really enjoyed the food and service. It was very inexpensive for the large portions of scrumptious food, cooked to perfection. We asked if there was any added sugar and the gracious waiter said no. I feel that this food was not only delicious, but very healthy.. A rare thing for most restaurants.

What a find. Just returned to Antioch and stopped in to get some takeout. We ordered tofu stir fry, pot stickers, pad Thai & spicy veggie soup. Everything was appropriately seasoned the way we wanted and was very flavorful without being overly salty. They used very fresh ingredients with no msg. The to go order was packaged so that the hot food was separated from the add ons. We love this place and will definitely be returning. By the way, I'm not even vegan or vegetarian.
