Great Greek food at a fair price! Plus the service is good and it doesn't take forever to get your food. You can also call your order in and pick it up. Try the chicken souvlaki plate, it's the best. They also have the best fries.
FANTASTIC falafel. I'm now a regular. Food is excellent. Staff is friendly and fun. Price is right. Definitely recommend it.
Two words...GREEN SAUCE!!! It's so hard to find sauce these days that is spicy enough to tame my taste buds... I usually squeeze about half the bottle of green sauce to my lamb and beef gyro (super delicious btw) and also another generous squeeze of the other orangey/red sauce for some extra flavor... Order the 9 inch because if you order the 7 inch, you'd wish you had that extra last bite that will hopefully last you till your next visit...Too bad its super far from where I live, but it's def worth the drive if you have a gyro craving! I would have given this place five stars but like another yelper already noted, they only give one tiny container of sauce to go (not even filled completely) ...which is only enough for one bite. Nonetheless, they provide friendly/attentative staff and yummy gyros =)

I suggest the hot roast beef
I do come here every once and a while for a coffee since it's right around the corner from my house. It has what I'm looking for when it's breakfast time. All their pastry is very buttery, rich. Cappuccinos are served with milk that gets warmed up WAY TOO MUCH, to the point where the milk gets burned, when it gets burned foam doesn't come out properly and you loose milk's nutrients, when foam doesn't come out properly you also have to add it to the coffee with the spoon... so that it looks like it has some foam on top, when this happens foam gets separated from the burning hot milk. Don't use a spoon, heat the milk less and you'll be fine :)
Great little coffee shop on Encinal. Came in middle of the day and there was no line. The barista was very pleasant and we got our coffee pretty quickly. They have a lot of neat greeting cards and I bought one for a friends birthday coming up. There is very little outside seating but a ton of room inside. Prices were cheap compared to Starbucks and quality of drinks was excellent. I will definitely be back

A parent from my daughter's soccer team suggested I try this place out. So, last night, a friend and I decided to check it out. It's a great sign when the owner comes out and introduces herself. She's just awesome! To learn that it's her and her family that are pretty much running the place was great to know. Well let's start with the drinks. I had to try the Sakitini with Lychee. I still have know idea what lychee is but suffice it say it's fabulous. And what a kick! I'm know lite weight but this drink had some punch to it!! We had the salmon carpacchio, tuna tartar with wontons, roasted duck watercress salad, the prawn and scallops with white rice, and of course, we had to try the sweet potatoe fries with that kickin' spicy aioli dip. All of the dishes were just like some flavorfull explosion the instant they touch your tongue! The salmon as smooth as silk and just melted in your mouth. I was totally unprepared for the sweet potatoes fries - WOWWA! Needless to say this experience was magical. We'll definately go back for more. Anna
Drool...I can't stop thinking about those crispy sweet potato and taro fries and the spicy garlic aioli...SO worth the 3 miles I ran on the treadmill this morning... Then there's the delicious Basil Fried Rice...and the Kimchi Fried Rice...big yummy bowls of comfort...another 2 miles on the treadmill... Followed by the delicious Sea Steak Salad-seared ahi tuna on a bed of greens with wasabi cream dressing, and the Cold Duck Nooodle Salad...both were refreshing and had the perfect amount of spice. Finally the 4 desserts- mango mousse cake, raspberry mousse cake, chocolate molten lava cake, and coffee creme brulee-- all were TO DIE FOR, especially the coffee creme brulee. Every bite was scrumptious at Zen and so worth the marathon I'll have to run to work it off!
Great service and prices. Asian inspired cocktails with Asian vodka and sake. Lychee-tinin was perfection. They use real lychee puree. Yum. The Asian fries were good, but the spicy aoili got a little too rich after a while. I used some of the sauce from the Yin & Yang Wings (sweet chili sauce) and that was a good combination! Other dished we had were - Kim chi fried rice (ordered with no beef), Soft shell crab done katsu style, Agedashi tofu (no bonito flakes) and the raw cherry stone clams. What made this dinner enjoyable was the staff. They checked on us frequently without being all up in our business. I loved the big couch bench they have. It's so comfy and perfect to lean back on after eating. Their menu has a lot of seafood, which I don't really eat. I think they could use a few more chicken and vegetarian items on the menu. I'd go back for cocktails and the Asian fries. I hear they have happy hour too, so that would be worth a visit.
