Passing through for a night in Yuma we went to dinner at the Radisson Hotel Yuma which Yelp! rated favorably. it was right on the four star mark. I am one that shy's away from hotel dining, but sometimes I am wrong, as I was this night. The old "Ratty Radisson" monicker seems to be no longer valid as this hotel was new, clean and modern in decor. The dining room/restaurant directly off the entrance lobby was off-putting, more appropriate for a quick food cafe, but here it was. Service was prompt and nicely done. Wait staff knew the menu and the wines and was honest in their recommendations. The salads were very nice, fully of goodies. The wines were expensive, but also excellent. Wife had a Mediterranean pasta dish which she really liked, full of sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts and I think basil in a light brown gravey. I launched into an excellent beef osso buco on garlic mashed potato and the most excellently rich demi- glaze one could imagine. I sent kudos to the kitchen saying that they "nailed" the osso buco. Too stuffed for dessert we left happy.

Seated ourselves, and waitress arrived quickly. She was pleasant and attentive. I ordered the green chili mac and cheese because the waitress and the hotel clerk recommended it. Plenty of cheese but bland and hardly any green chilis. It needed a bread crumb topping to cut the one-note of cheese, and double the chilis! Our party also ordered the wedge salad, bacon wrapped asparagus and the special of the day, chili in a bread bowl. The bleu cheese on the salad was pungent and fabulous! Lettuce cold and fresh. The asparagus were so thin that the bacon kind of overwhelmed. The chili bowl was tasty, not spicy, and the bread bowl was fresh. If you stay at the Radisson, and are too tired to cross the street to Roadhouse, i recommend this average hotel food.

I was SO disappointed! This is an expensive restaurant, one of the priciest in town, and I don't know how they stay in business. First, the online menu is not the current restaurant menu! Prices, offerings, different online than what was presented to us. Second, the rolls are pathetically heavy and doughy and are not served with real butter. Third, our meals were just bad! My husband had the citrus chicken which consisted of a bland, almost crispy breaded chicken breast atop a pile of raw or burned fingerling potatoes that were drowning in olive oil. Beside that was three raw carrots (I am not exaggerating, I couldn't cut them with the steak knife) and three undercooked asparagus on the other side with a charred slice of lemon. I guess the charred lemon was the "citrus" in citrus chicken. I had the green chili Mac and cheese. The chef in this restaurant has no understanding of sauce making, because it was a large amalgamation of cheese, chillies, and noodles. There was no hint of any kind of a roux to stabilize the cheese and hence there was literal puddles of grease. (I posted a picture) There was no seasoning on the food. None. We both added salt to our meals, something I can't remember doing in a restaurant, because they normally over season food, or more than most people do at home, anyway. Applebee's will give you a better dinner for half the price. Avoid this place!

Way way over prised. Probably the worst fish tacos I've ever eaten and definitely the most expensive. Service was extremely slow. Went there once. Will never go back.

Very disappointing experience. Food wasn't tasty. It's a wine bar, but the wine list wasn't impressive. Maybe the have larger selection at the bar. Menu seemed limited for the price point, with mostly chicken dishes. Our meal started with an underbaked bread - I believe it was the type of underbaked bread one is supposed to bake to make fresh - but it was only warmed up in a microwave. Tomato basil soup was flavorful, but spoiled by chunks of plasticky cheese floating inside - they were hard, tasteless and felt like foreign objects. For the main course - my husband's filet mignon was blah and his mashed potatoes literally revolting - tasted like instant potatoes with an over-generous seasoning of garlic powder. My salmon was quite OK, although I wish they had removed the cedar plank - it didn't look elegant, made me wonder if it's reusable (yuck), and made the dish awkward to eat. The worst - my side of roasted potatoes was a disgrace. They were greasy, blackened, and very dry. I imagine one only gets potatoes of this low quality if they are warmed repeatedly, over a few days (we dined before 6pm). Service was impersonal and not particularly prompt - water refill only after my husband run out. The waitress never asked if we liked the food. Restaurant decor - late 90s, no tablecloth, hard chairs. Simple but interesting art. Very noisy bar with terrible acoustics - laughter and yells carried over to our far corner table. TV on, no music. Waitress wore blue jeans. We are staying in the hotel for two more nights, and we are NOT going back.

I absolutely love their cheesecake! I first tried this restaurant when they catered my cousin's quinceañera, which was held in one of the hotel's conference rooms. Their food was delicious and the service was spectacular. I returned the next week to have a quiet dinner, and I could not miss out on another slice of their delicious cheesecake. A bit pricey, but it is worth it.

Located inside Radisson resort. 6 beers on draft. Happy hour from 3-6:30. Bar menu includes wings, sliders, chicken cheese crisp, smothered chips. Wings are decent, sliders were prepared meatballs yet the buns were good. I saw plenty others order potato chips with sour cream, cheese, green onion. Nachos on potato chips seemed odd. The bartender is the waiter. He can be crazy busy if people are at the bar lounge, restaurant tables, and outside tables. Not a restaurant I would recommend other than the bar food.

Usually hotel restaurant / bar food is nothing to write home about. The Market Wine Bar Bistro located in the Radisson has changed my mind. The desk clerk gave my husband and I 2 complimentary drink coupons so we decided to use them at happy hour and just order appetizers for our dinner. Husband ordered a beer, I got a Malibu and cranberry. My drink was so strong I couldn't drink it. 1 star for the heavy pour. We ordered off the happy hour menu. I ordered the Loaded Chips. 3 words. Oh. My. God. This plate of fresh cooked chips were perfection. Think cut potatoes fried to a crispy crunch topped with cheese sauce, shredded cheese, bacon, sour cream and green onion was oh so very, very good, they chips never got soggy. I would drive to Yuma just to order these again. The flatbread was good but the balsamic reduction was a touch too tangy for my liking. The beef skewers, where to start. The meat was so tender you didn't need a knife to cut, it literally was fork tender and the flavor was incredible. These perfect little cubes of beef would make a super entree with a added side dish. We enjoyed our meal at Market Wine. The music was a little too loud but the service was awesome and the food was phenomenal.

My husband and i got the texas burger, loaded chips, a caramrl appletini and a whote moscato. Delish. Kinda quiet around 7 which was nice for a romantic night with my husband. Would for sure reccommend. The waitress, I think Dayna, was really nice and helpful and not bothersome at all. Would love to go there again. My husband thinks its too expensive, but its prettt decently priced.

This was the first time I've been here and all I can say is OMG!!! Did anybody ever try the Caprese Flat bread??? I mean it! This bread is soooooo delicious I can only imagine what the rest of the food tastes like!!! Our waiter Xavier was very professional and nice! We had the "FLIGHTS - create your own" and when we asked for some info on the wines he really knew what he was talking about! The "FLIGHT" is $13 and gives you 3 2oz glasses of wine - your choice. The outside area is definitely a plus, especially on days like today where it's not over 100 degrees. The only draw back might be that the view isn't what you might expect - it's actually the parking lot and the freeway!! So not too overwhelming!! It's quite pricy though. The Caprese was $8 but once you had that - yeah, what's $8!? By this chance I need to thank Christoper B. - the food is simply AMAZING!!!! I will return, will you??

The menu, quality of food, atmosphere, and service are all reflective of a 5-star dining experience. If you are searching for the best overall dining experience in Yuma, save yourself the time and effort and just go here - you can thank me later! :)

We had a great dinner. Our waitress Andy was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We went for the Cheap Date Night they have on Tuesdays. The food was good. My husband had the Osso Bucco and I had shrimp ravioli. I thought the shrimp was tough but it was still good. I hate that it's called cheap date night though. Just like many others we like good deals, especially now. But I don't like being called cheap.

My drives from Phoenix/Tucson back to San Diego have recently gotten much better, thanks to reconnecting with an old friend who resides in Yuma with her husband. Last trip we did Applebee's (you can check out that review if you like) so this time I was craving something unique to Yuma and something actually tasty. Thanks to Yelp! I stumbled upon this restaurant, connected to the Radisson hotel. Immediately I was in awe of the place. Many cute men were sipping on beers in the lounge, were they tourists? Or does Yuma actually have well to do types? Not sure but my outlook on Yuma is warping into something decent thanks to my experience here. We are seated inside the not so busy restaurant (it is a Sunday evening) by a pretty-faced, friendly hostess. Our server soon approaches and immediately won us over with his easy-going, friendly nature while still being nothing short of professional and polite. The place is modern American... from the simple decor to the menu. The food? Nothing unique or spectacular yet good nonetheless. Being a wine bar, the wine selection was decent however not a long list as one would expect. I did find a new red favorite... Tuscany something, I really need to call them to find out the specifics.

The food for Yuma, holistically, was slightly above average. Regardless, not necessarily the best value for the money.

Restaurant atmosphere was okay, very in line with a hotel lobby restaurant. We ordered the catch of the day - ahi tuna/mashed potatoes/vegetables - and the scallop appetizer and wedge salad. The ahi was dry and the mashed potatoes were good but also dry. The scallops were good but only two came on the appetizer portion. Wedge salad was standard - ice berg lettuce, blue cheese dressing, tomatoes, and bacon bits. The service was fine, no major problems. The dessert was standard as well - the server said everything was homemade but you could tell a few items were frozen ahead of time. All in all, a good place to have a glass of wine and an appetizer in Yuma but not a place I'd go for an all out meal.

  • My point of view. D.

Came here during the holiday season 3 years ago for some drinks and appetizers, it was ok. The bartender was full of her self, she had a bad attitude, took too long to get our drinks, and had this look as if we were not good enough to be sitting at the "Prestigous Radisson Bar" Anyway its ok, nothing to brag about. If you are in town and want to pick up some of the better quality Yuma Yummies you might want to check this place out.

I found this restaurant on restaurant.com . The menu looked great and I went there based on the on-line menu. The restaurant is in the Radisson Hotel just off hwy 8. It's beautifully decorated, does have nice plasmas here and there, yet not a stuffy restaurant. I was disappointed at first because they now have a special summer menu. It's very limited. It had nothing on it that I actually went to the restaurant for. I went for the mussels and calamari on the appetizer menu and the lobster mac n cheese. All were on the on-line lunch menu. The special summer menu had none of these. However, we ordered the primerib & corned beef combo sandwich, tomato soup, and a steak caeser salad. The sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. The primerib was juicy and just melted in your mouth. The fries are great. Don't add ketchup. They have garlic and cheese on them. Very tasty. The salads on the lunch menu are large. It had the most tender steak in it that i've ever eaten. The soup was large and good, but nothing special. The soup came with a mini grilled cheese on a special roll. It was very good. The overall meal was great. I used a restaurant.com gift certificate and our meal ended up being really cheap. The ambiance is nice. Good for families or a romantic lunch or dinner. They do have a good happy hour with inexpensive appetizers. Happy hour is 4-7, but we didn't get to stay and enjoy it. I found that most places in Yuma are a dive. This was very good food and you could go back for happy hour and watch sports. They offer a unique and nice dinner menu. Good place. The primerib sandwich, again, one of the best sandwiches ever.

This is by far the best restaurant in Yuma. World class all the way! Being from New York I have dined at many great restaurants. Market is as good as it gets. The fresh seafood made me feel like I was back home. When I first moved to Yuma I was disappointed in the choices of "date style" restaurants here. Now Market is at the top of my list.

Menu has a good variety of choices. The Bistro Burger is very good. The French fries with some ranch dressing was killer! My wife had the Beefsteak Tomato Appetizer and loved it. The service was excellent. Our server Kelly was very attentive and had a great sense of humor. Our experience was very enjoyable.

5 stars for service and 3 for the Mahi-Mahi, which was over cooked. The veggies and potatoes were good and the choose your own wine flight was awesome! The fact that you can choose any 3 off the menu and it was ready less than a minute after I ordered it, was awesome service. I would definitely come back and get a burger that came out before my fish, with the amazing bartenders that they have.

My wife and I had dinner tonight. Rib-eye steaks, bacon wrapped asparagus, really good wine. Really great service! Mr. Santos greated us as we came in, treated to an amazing meal with professional service. Highly recommended this place, especially if you want to get away from the chain restaurants and get a more "mom and pop" type place. We had a great experience and will definitely come back again!

This place was horrible, my husbands food came out cold and had to be sent back after waiting for 45 minutes. My hamburger was tasteless and chewy. We were tired after traveling from San Diego and used to good food. Bad!

Christmas dinner was a disaster. With 5 o'clock reservations we finally started eating about 6:30. The food we received was not as advertised for the Christmas dinner. We had to ask for menus, bread plates, salt-and-pepper, and the check. Sent my soup back because it was cold and the dessert which was supposed to be warm was cold. The service was chaos, people in tables around us started leaving before eating. To top it all off when we asked for our check the young lady who had been waiting on us told us she had to get our real waitress, someone we had never even seen before. Even though we were not charged for our meal or drinks we would never go there again.

This is a great little hotel bar and restaurant. Excellent wine selection and fabulous food. Staff is excellent and professional and if staying at the Radisson for extended period learn your name. Only thing holding back 5 star is beer selection.

I came here for dinner and ordered the filet mignon. I was looking forward to trying a good steak since it was Creekstone beef. I asked for the steak medium-rare and I was disappointed when the steak was fully charred on top. There was a layer of burnt meat and the meat just underneath was brown but at least the center was a warm red (otherwise, I would have sent it back) so decided to just grin and bear it. The taste was ok and able to enjoy some of it with a nice cab. The potato gratin was pretty good. The paltry vegetables was also disappointing. It wasn't so much a side as it was garnish. The service was prompt and friendly. The waiter saw how disappointed I was and at least didn't charge me for the wine.

The food was good but the restaurant doesn't live up to its marketing. It could very well be some of the best food in Yuma. And that's why it's got three stars instead of one. They accidentally gave us a marked up menu with their price changes (increases). That was kind of awkward because we could see that they increased the price on a bottle of wine we were planning to order (and ordered anyways). We teased the server about it, and he said it was likely because the wine was a different year. Not true. Anyways, the bottle retails for a little over $10. We liked it though. Service was slow. We got a carafe and some ice for the wine but I poured all the refills. The food took almost an hour to arrive, which was no big deal given the good company, but longer than we expected. Two of us ordered the osso bucco and had basically the same impression. It was good but not what you would expect from comparably nice restaurant in other cities.

  • Al M.

I've eaten here a few times and is a good place to dine. The food is excellent without a doubt. One dish in particular, is out of this world. The Osso Bucco is beyond incredible!!! The 4 star rating is for the food. The current hostess has poor customer service skills and acts like this is beneath her. A dining experience entails all the aspects. If the food was not exceptional, it would have not gotten 4 stars.

My husband and I decided to try this place one night and were pleasantly surprised. It is still a "hotel restaurant" but there was a good separation between the two. Our hostess was polite but seemed a bit lost when it came to seating us. Our waitress was great: very friendly and prompt. When she didn't know the type of beer my husband wanted, she teamed up with the bar manger to help us out and I thought was very nice. I got the lobster mac and cheese which was fine. It has big chunks of lobster but the cheese part was kind of bland. My husband got the lamb chops and let me try a piece. They were AMAZING! I love lamb to begin with but these were cooked perfectly with a nice crisp on the outside. The atmosphere is that of a hotel restaurant. The walls are purple which is a bit off-putting to me and we did have a family next to us being very loud and disruptive. It was kind of expensive but the food was good enough for the price. I don't think this will become somewhere we regularly dine at but I think another trip is warranted.

The desserts here are simply divine! If you just want to satisfy a sweet craving, you have to go here! And 5 Stars, too, for the fine items on the menu. We loved what we ate there, from the apppetizers to the main course. (Although I must say, the seafood pasta was hit-and-miss for me. It had turned out to be on the oily side twice now). But going back to the desserts---this is *definitely* my go-to place for a late evening coffee klatch with a small circle of friends, or a quiet time-to-be-away from the teenage kids with your sweetheart.

I'm from Michigan, here in Yuma on a business trip. Like others said, this place is in the Radisson Hotel, turn off 16th St. at the Home Depot sign. It's bright and trendy inside. There's a bar and lots of tables. It's well-light, there are lots of bright colors in the decor (napkins are purple) and overall the atmosphere is pleasant. Dinners range from 14-36. I don't think the food was very special, not bad, not great. Portion size was on the smaller side. The bread/rolls do not have the appearance of being home-baked. They do have Kiltlifter on draft. They have a big wine list, but I'm not really into wine. Overall the "Market Bar Wine Bistro" (what kind of a name is that??) is OK, but I would rather go to River City or Ciao Bella for a nice dinner.

Arguably the best restaurant in Yuma, AZ and today's service from Joshua has been exemplary. I was skeptical when I heard it was in the Radisson hotel but I have been pleasantly surprised.

I have to revise my previous review. Food quality has really fallen off in the year I've been here. I assume they think since the majority of Yuma's population is reading at a third grade level they can try to pass poor food quality with an above average ambience. I'll keep it short. Paid 15 bucks for a prime sandwich on a hamburger bun. The next day I ordered the citrus chicken which was a frozen, breaded chicken breast and paid 18. Tasted microwaved. The dinner rolls were pilsbury. Major disappointment.

I came here on two occasions for dinner over the winter. The first time was mid-week around 7pm. Only 2 other tables were occupied. The waiter took a long time to get to us for our order. I ordered the Cedar roasted salmon. The salmon came warm and looked like it was reheated sometime ago. The side of risotto was very thick, not creamy at all. The side of greens with vinaigrette was the only good part. My partner's dish, the Osso buco came luke warm and had to be sent back to be reheated. I decided to give this place a second try because I like the atmosphere and because I'm getting tired of mexican food and bar food. This next visit we decided to eat at the bar. Service was good with the bartender. We ordered the Crispy Calamari which came fast but was barely warm and not so crispy. Also ordered a Flatbread that was room temp. A month ago I attended a dinner lecture there and yep, the food is still the same. I'm never coming back to this place for food again even if it's free. Drinks are good though.

LOCATION: A bit hidden in the Radisson Hotel on Redondo Rd off of 16th Ave. Turn in where the Home Depot is. ATMOSPHERE: Lounge area consisting of many small high tables, couches, bar area with flat screens playing sports. Nice large patio area with couch style seating. Huge main dining area. Dimly lit. Romantic atmosphere. There used to be a live piano player here but not anymore. It's just a programmed piano now that plays on its own. Boooo..... FOOD/DRINK: Diverse menu with many selections including an extensive wine menu with a selection of wine flights of 3 wines which you can also pair with a cheese for additional cost. I tried: 1. Complimentary bread - EEK.... I can tell this was not freshly bake instead pre-made and heated up in the microwave. Bland semi-dense rolls... Just not that fresh flavor at all. YUCK. 2. Shrimp scampi - yummy! Nice and garlicky. Shrimp cooked very well approximately 9 medium sized shrimp (even though it says jumbo on the menu). 3. Seared scallops - eh... not impressed. Scallops slightly overcooked and a bit tough. Served with roasted corn with creamed spinach which was also average. 4. Red zinfandel - forget name but very good. I like! ATMOSPHERE: Bright colors accent the modern décor with a big pink fire place in the hotel lobby. PERKS: Happy hour menu - appetizers, drinks - available only on lounge menu M-F 4-6:30pm. SERVICE: Excellent. Maybe because it wasn't crowded around 6pm on a Saturday night. They also allow tasting of wine glasses before you buy. PARKING: Plenty available in the Radisson hotel parking lot. CONCLUSION: Not too impressed with the food... will come back again to at least try happy hour menu as this contains some dinner entrees in appetizer portions. Nice atmosphere though.

The menu LOOKS great. But when I ordered the chicken on a Wednesday night, they were sold out. Ok, it happens. I chose the short ribs. The wine I wanted? Sorry, not in stock. The other one? Sorry, out of that too. Service was EXTREMELY slow. I waited 10 minutes from the moment that I sat down to get a glass of water or even be acknowledged by my server. The short ribs were mediocre at best and very fatty. On a busy Saturday night, all of the above is possible. But at 6pm on a Wednesday during the summer with no winer visitors in town? nope, not acceptable

The place looked really nice. I saw a guy wearing a tie. The staff was very friendly. They kinda forgot about our water though.. no big. I ordered the pasta primavera. It worked, but you know, it was nothing to write home about. My friend's salmon was way under cooked. Way too expensive for what it is.
