Jack & Rosie’s Steakhouse Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Our waitress was quote rude. There is a &10 split charge making our fried chicken $26 instead of $16. We left with a promise never to return.

Fried chicken was ok, porterhouse was good, sides were passable and everything was waaaaay overpriced. The facility is in disrepair and ladies bathroom disgraceful. Our waitress was sweet and efficient and dressed as though it was a fine dining eatery. It was an odd dining experience. We will not return.

Took a group of 7 for a business meeting. This is not a formal or even semi formal place.... but it is darn good food and service. There is a reason this place has been here for over 50 years, and I hope it is there for the next 50! I like my steaks cooked rare. Many times they come out medium rare or better. Not there, the steak was cooked exactly right, and was melt in your mouth good. I will go back!

This is the best steakhouse in Yuma! Now I know that may not sound like much, but this place is VERY good! The pricing is excellent, you can get a huge ribeye cooked to order for only $25. The atmosphere is great as me and my wife enjoyed a cozy dinner together and walked away very satisfied with the quality of the steak and service. IF you are looking for a good steak in Yuma, then look no further, this is your place.

I am from out of town and make sure to go to Jack and Rosie's every time I come to Yuma. Amazing steaks (will even cook them blue for fans of a true rare steak), great soup, and very attentive and nice service! Definitely worth the money this is a hidden jem!

This is a hidden gem in Yuma. The steaks are outstanding and they actually cook them the way you ask. It was so hard not stuffing my face with all the delicious bread they provided before the meal... It was so good!! You pay a bit more for your steak dinner here but it is all so worth it and the superb service helps too. This is a bar atmosphere and can get a little loud but were here to eat some good food so who cares right?! The ony beer they have is bottled but they have a good variety.

Went here on a recent trip with some good friends while on a trip to the river. They both liked it better than I did, to be honest. My friend John, suggested the place as he'd been there before. This time he got the fish and he said that he wouldn't order it again as it was dry. But he loves the steaks. The food was pretty good; the texas-toast was tasty and the wine flowed well. Service was very friendly also. Definitely has a local vibe going for it, which is kind of cool. Very, very old school, old West kind of place. Has a bar as soon as you walk in. Everybody was really friendly. Very much reminded me of the old Chretin's, but without the military slant that place had (I really liked Chretin's old vibe, if not the food). For me, for the money, I would want a more upscale place. Don't get me wrong; the steaks were pretty good (I've certainly had better, including at home), and it was cooked perfectly; it just didn't justify the $28 for a ribeye and a nice bottle of Cabernet was an additional $30 (if memory serves). Again, for that pricing, I'll go to a much fancier place... And, it doesn't mean that I won't be back, if my buddies want to go next time, I won't fight them on it.

Was in town for a TDY. Rolled the dice on this one. Truly excellent steaks. Despite a rough exterior, the dive bar entrance belies a steak experience almost worth passing through otherwise desolate Yuma. *forgot to post this literally a year ago, posted now since i know some people possibly going out that way soon*

I always have at least one dinner here when I'm in Yuma. Their steaks are the best I've had anywhere and a glass of wine there is actually a goblet of wine. Steak dinner includes soup, salad, steak and choice of potato. My ribeye was so big I asked for, and was happily given, a second twice-baked potato to go with it. The building is pretty simple on the outside, but it's what's inside that counts and here it counts for a lot!

Ruff on the outside, ruff on the inside and the food was even worse. We were sold by the past reviews and boy were we suckered! Silverware laying on an old dingy vinyl tablecloth, fast food tables and chairs fit the 40 or 50 year old outdated resturaunt. Menu is way overpriced for the completely disappointing food. You get a tiny bowl of soup with a half slice of garlic bread, small lettuce and carrot salad with 2 Cherry tomatoes, and all steaks were way under done. Fried chicken was cooked in old grease oil that smelled horrible and tasted worse. No seasonings not even salt on the fries. $28 for a filet mignon as thin as a hamburger is ridiculous! I would recommend another restaurant.

It's not pretty on the outside and it's definitely not pretty in the inside but damn it they have the best steaks I've ever eaten outside of my home! I ordered medium rare and I got medium rare. It was seasoned perfectly and it was tender. I couldn't ask for more. It was pure pleasure cutting into that beautiful steak...my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The menu is limited but don't fret, it's a good thing because if you love the cow like I do, you would never order anything else on the menu. Why order chicken or pork when there's steak to be had? Was the waitress nice you ask... was the decor inspiring...was the atmosphere pleasant... my answer to that is, "My steak was amazing so who gives a sh*t."

Initially I was skeptical about claims that the ribeye steak at Jack & Rosie's was the best steak I would ever have - but I am sold. Despite the 70s decor and dated bar, I would come back to Yuma for their steaks and their steaks only. Each steak was cooked perfectly, well marbled and the soup and salad were a perfect compliment. Highly reccomended, top 5 steak that I've ever had.

Looks a little rough on the outside, but don't be deterred. Do call for a reservation. We got in without one, but it was close (on a Friday Night). Excellent service. Home made Pea soup excellent. Cloth napkins, fresh roses on the table. My wife had an appetizer of chicken livers. She reported that they were excellent. We had a rib eye and a filet. Both were cooked to our specifications. The twice baked potatoes were very good. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Great steaks! Get the house dressing, across between ranch and blue cheese. Stephanie was our server and she was very nice and personable. This place looks a little rough on the outside, but the food and service are great!

I was invited here for dinner on a very special occasion, a first date and a celebration of a successful job completion! We had the Rib Eyes, twice baked potatoes and salads with Rosie's sauce. I really enjoyed the food, the ambience, and everything about it! This is definitely somewhere I will be again!.....and yes, there will be a second date!

This place has great steaks and service! When you walk in, you feel like you're in episode of the 80's show, "Mamas Family" and the place is normally crowded..... But the food does not disappoint.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. Not real pretty on the outside, but everything inside was awesome. Great friendly service. We had a party of 14 and food was served timely and our whole group was happy. And especially the steak, which is why I came , was perfect!

With each steak, you receive soup, salad, steak, bread, and your choice of twice baked potato, fries, rice, or vegies. The soup: It was awesome. Could have ate a huge bowl of it. The salad: Good quality salad. Definitely isnt out of a bag. Dressing tasted homemade. Bread: Amazing. It appears to be texas toast style bread cooked in tons of butter with maybe a hint of garlic. Steak: I got a ribeye, which was quite large and delicious. My husband got a porterhouse that was sooo huge. It took up the entire plate. He had to get a to-go box. Twice baked potato: Yummy. Nice, crispy skin. Interesting place because of the location and because the front half of the restaurant looks kind of like a dingy bar. But I would definitely go back. Excellent food. Great service. Worth the money.

Fond memories from many years ago brought me back to dinner on Saturday night. I do not get to Yuma often but took the daughter and her family there hoping for a repeat of a fond memory. What a shame it was. Soup was tepid at best. Salad had no chill at all. The Martini was the only redeeming part of the pre dinner ritual. Steak was good sized and a quality cut only to be ruined by having been overcooked to a medium+ instead of medium-rare. The accompanying bread never arrived until after a complaint forced it to show up after everyone had finished. Despite all of this it would have been a tolerable night but the service was absolutely horrible. Never a smile. Kids served fries and she seemed surprised we would ask for ketschup when it should have been put on the table without asking. Everything tasted as if it had been left to sit for a while prior to being brought out. No return to the table after serving the meals by her or any of the serving staff. Since I did not feel like chasing down someone I ate my overcooked steak. Drinks were never refilled. I was never asked if I would like a second drink. Just a very unpleasant experience. Finally I got up from the table and went into the bar and berated the waitress who was standing there with the bartender just chatting away and gave her hell for her lack of interest in her station. I will never retuen. Sucks when fond memories are dashed by such an unpleasant experieince. There are not a lot of choices in Yuma but it would not be difficult to do better than this.

ATMOSPHERE: We called ahead not knowing what to expect and was described as "semiformal." I guess we should have known from the appearance of the exterior. Major fail on "semiformal." Looks like a sports bar at the entrance and the back of the restaurant is made to be more formal. It's just a weird juxtaposition of "fancy" restaurant with sports bar. Dimly lit with candle with a real rose on the table, which was a nice touch. There was even a baby at the sports bar at one point. It seemed to be a popular place the Saturday night we were there. Popular for groups. Crowd mostly older adults to elderly. FOOD: Yum! At least the food was good. Every entrée comes with a soup, salad, twice baked potato. Food is served in what looks like t.v. dinner trays.... Efficient but what about real plates? This is what we ordered: 1. Bread - complimentary. Texas toast with tons of butter, which tasted ok. Weird having that in what is described as a semiformal establishment. 2. Italian wedding soup - Comes with entrée. Very yummy. Classically made with chunks of meat and veggies. 3. Twice baked potatoes - Comes with entrée. Very yummy. In the peel topped with cheese. 4. Salad - Comes with entrée. Basic with mostly iceberg and a few leafy greens, tomatoes, cucumbers. I had the Rosie's dressing which was combination of French, Ranch, and chunks of blue cheese, which was quite good. 5. Scallops (~$19) - definitely not the best I've ever had. Swimming in butter herb sauce with a side of tartar sauce. The scallops were of good consistency but bland on flavor. 6. Ribeye (~$24) - not the best I've ever had but it was good. I like my steaks to have the grilled flavor 7. Wine (~$8 per glass)- glasses are HUGE! Wow... it had to be 12 oz. However, the Chardonnay my boyfriend got tasted watered town - BLEH. The Shiraz that I got was good. SERVICE: Very good. No complaints here. PARKING: Private lot. Found a spot no problem. CONCLUSION: Hmm... food ok, service great, atmosphere.... Very casual. I guess fancy for Yuma. I don't think we'll come here again but not a bad experience... except for seeing a baby at the bar....

We were given a gift certificate for this place. We had never heard of it. From the outside it looks like a bar and we weren't even sure they were open. No real windows on the outside. Well, we were pleasantly surprise with the amazing ribeye steaks and twice naked potatoes. Dinner came with a bean soup and delicious bread, an ok salad and we bought dessert. I would probably skip the cake as it wasn't fresh made but it was still tastey . This place is old, outdated, hidden, and so perfect. It is expensive but the quality was great and portion sizes ere BIG. Highly recommend.

Come here for the BEST rib-eye steaks in town. Period. For about 25 bucks, you get a good size steak, maybe 16 oz? Hubby adores this steak--which I assume from the buttery softness and beefy taste of it is well marbled and aged. It's expensive, compared to the Texas Roadhouse or the Outback Steahhouse. But if it is great steak you want, Jack and Rosie's delivers on the goodness of their steaks. You also get the split pea soup--slow-cooked, made from scratch goodness. And a salad green--try the "Rosie's dressing" which makes me think it's a mix of french and blue dressing. It really works. I don't need an elaborate salad to accompany a magnificent steak, so a plain green salad, with slices of tomatoes and cucumbers is just fine by me. You'l notice that the locals come here, and hubby and I would stop by for a late evening dinner, and you will still a few people enjoying theirs. It's a quiet crowd. Honestly, I don't think this place caters to children. We've stopped coming here for a while, when our kids were still little, for that reason. It just didn't (and still doesn't) have a kid-friendly vibe. But then again...maybe that's a good thing :-) There's a bar, too. I've tried their top shelf Margaritas, and I can honestly say, Chili's makes it better. Sorry, Jack and Rosie's! By the way, call first, to find out which days they are open, because there's one day that they're not.

Cool place...Ribeye was about 3.5, well cooked but could've used some seasoning. Bread was a 5, damn that was good. Soup and salad were both quality. Lemonade was awful, skip it. Big meal for $27 plus tax..I'd do it again.

Great ribeye steaks! The people that work there are so nice and friendly ... I know why my dad is a regular there.

An experience you won't soon forget, Jack & Rosies delivers on what has become a mandatory stop for all "in the know." I was told by my friends (who wont leave Yuma without a stop to this place) to ignore the unassuming exterior/interior and judge the place by its service and meal. On those merits, let me tell you that it was the best steak I have ever had. Each steak comes with a soup and salad. Their Italian Wedding soup was amazing and I'm told that their split pea soup is outstanding. Let me simply say that this place has now become one of my favorite steakhouses in the world and at the risk of not finding a table next time, let me assure you that your time and money is well spent here.

Had a late dinner on Tuesday night at Jack and Rosie's. Let me start by saying that I have had some real great meals in the past here. Steak on tuesday night was undercooked. Owner was on vacation and her daughter as I was told was mixing the drinks...PLEASE GET A NEW BARTENDER!!!!!!!!!!
