I've ordered the carne asada fries and I really like the fact that it is a huge amount of food that they give for a good price. Taste: In all my visits the flavor is always good, even with the cream that I don't usually eat. The carne is not burnt nor stale. The only bad thing is if the fries get cold they have a bad aftertaste that ruins the overall taste. Drive-thru service is actually pretty good.

Horrible customer service! Good decent fast food Mexican food but the worst customer service!! Every time I go no matter what get dirty looks and not even a thank you back after receiving our food. Been to this place probably 20 times and it's always been the same.

This place was recommended by the Holiday Inn Express. Egads. Dirty, dumpy and bland. The roof was leaking water into the area where the person takes your order. The girl taking orders talked on the phone for personal conversation while we were ordering. The food was completely void of taste. The Guacamole was puréed to the consistency of pea soup. Ick. Should have gone to the Del Taco.

My husband and I went last night because I was hungry and it was already midnight and we were finding places that were still open. They're open 24/7! We Ate inside, i ordered a chicken enchilada (#5) and my husband ordered the chimichanga plate. We added sour cream to both and he got extra guacamole and we got what we asked for. My husband ordered the Piña drink to try out and after a sip he felt like it was too sweet for him (he's not the type to like sweets) and they happily exchanged his drink for something else he wanted without any issues. The horchata was pretty good. And we both really enjoyed our food! I really like their shredded chicken (: food was amazing! And it was pretty cheap on top of that. The only reason I deducted a star was because the atmosphere of the dining hall wasn't really all that. It was really quiet and not all that pretty looking. Other than that I would come back again! (:

Great fast service. Not a dress up type of place but is better than taco bell. Good food for a good price. It has been clean every time I've been there. If you're looking for a high class restaurant this is not the place. If you're looking for a place to get some Mexican food fast this place is okay.

This use to be our favorite drive thru. The food was great; and they had the best refried beans! The past 3 months I don't know what has happened the tacos are burnt crispy and the food is definitely not as good. You bite into one and the shell shatters. The beans are now stiff with crust forming and the beef is dried up. I don't know if it's day old beef now or what we are so disappointed, but the thing that has me writing this review is the price board for the drive thru. It says one price, but they charge you more than what it says usually around a $1 per item. I mentioned it the first few times, and told them they needed to update their prices. The lady just smiled and said yeah. This time I bought 3 of the plates that were priced $6.89 and my receipt said $7.89 each, and the food was lousy. No more Filibertos for us. Take note of what your charged going through the drive-thru. Hopefully they will update it!!

Today I went to the store in mesa to get the carne asada burrito. I asked for sourcream and guacamole on them. When I came to my hotel I realized that I didnt recieve sour cream in my burrito. Idk why I cant recieve good service from this resturant after I paid for good service. You need to teach your cooks to prep things right. Especially if someone's paying additional for them. As well as having the cashiers write things down right. the horchata was good. And the red salsa as well.

The food here is okay. I go in once in a while but just for burritos. The salsa is good someday and bad on other days. I guess a plus is the drive through being open late. There isn't any other small local chains like that.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ! I went to in with a few family members and friends after a long day! After ordering my good specifically telling her what I want and don't want on my food, they called my nAme and my whole order was wrong. MANAGEMENT got involved right away ! I had to say this was the worst management staff I had witnessed in all the restaurant industry . After going over my order again getting it right , she gave me a dollar and change back and 10 min later called me back from my table food still not ready and said its gonna be more she needs the dollar and change back and still charged me more . My food came out and still was wrong I was already livid after 3 times getting my order wrong! How many times can you mess up a order ! And no apology at least from management staff! TERRIBLE !

I had the pollo asada and it was decent at best. The service was good and the restaurant was clean but the food was just okay and didn't sit well with my stomach.

My family of five hit this place randomly after a mundane and exhausting drive on I-8. With no prior knowledge or expectation or whatsoever, we took a chance here. The interior was spacious and three out of like fifteen tables were seated with patrons. I was impressed with the service since the overweight lady at the conuter had the patience with our family's overwhelming inquiries about the ingredients and cooking-methods of their food. After ten minutes of grueling and interrogating at the counter we've finally decided our orders and and expected the worst we received our food. The food was surprisingly awesome! My breakfast burrito was fantastic, and it didn't contain any beans!!!!! I hate beans in Mexican food so I was especially delighted the absence of beans in my burrito! My family's orders were all very satisfactory too. And the price was cheap as hell, my family of five spent $20 with change! I would say skip all those chain-stores nearby the hotels and opt for these authentic restaurants if you're in Yuma.

Overall the food was delicious. I ordered the carnitas (pork) plate as well as the horchata drink. My only gripe is that the guacamole looked and tasted like filler. It was smooth and seriously mashed, leading me to believe none of the guacamole was made from fresh avocado, but rather filler... yeck.. Yes, it was tasty given the time of day and locale... however, compared with other 'berto's from California.. not impressed.

I like this place pretty well. Once they opened Sombreros I have to admit I stopped eating at Filibertos. Filiberto's food is tastey although it tends to be on the greasy side. The patron burrito is pretty awesome if you have a big appetite and like meat. It will separate the men from the boys. I would highly recommend it. I think you really can't go wrong with burritos or tacos here. They have a salsa bar and plenty of seating. I should really eat here again, at least once in a while. They are my second favorite taco shop in Yuma. They blow away any Yuma home-grown mexican restaurants, thats for sure.

I've only been here after a night of drinking, or working at the bar, and the food is consistently good. Carne asada, or carnitas burrito (no pico! make sure you don't get the pico! It tastes stale) with cilantro and onions, carne asada fries (fries with sour cream, guac, cheese and steak) and a coke. Their portions are pretty big so come storved!. I never had the hankering to try anything else, but it all looks good. Open 24 hours and you get free pickled veggies (jalapenos, carrots, and onions)

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
