After driving in from San Diego, I was pretty hungry, and needed to get some gas. I stopped and saw Carls right off the expressway. It was 9:30 AM, and I needed fuel for my stomach! Went in and ordered a breakfast burger. It appeared to be just the one girl behind the counter taking orders and delivering them too. I requested no bacon, but, despite my requests, my burger was served with bacon anyways. Argh! Anyways, place was clean, I had no wait, and its basically in the same parking lot as an AM/PM. I do want to address the bathrooms at this Carl Jr. They were clean, BUT, REEKED. STUNK to high heavens of a cross between mold and rotten eggs. I literally gagged and almost puked for the whole 2 or 3 minutes I was in there. I don't know what the problem is, but if you are faint of heart, go across the street to the gas station bathrooms instead!

We have eaten at Carl's numerous times--we stopped because we were hungry. Order took 15 minutes to get to us--they forgot our onion rings which came out burnt, yuck! The ones in my hubby's western bacon looked just fine. My chicken tenders were also over done, pretty sure we won't be stopping at this location again.

asked for buttered biscuits and when we got them I've had pancakes that were thicker. They also were not cut open and buttered for me like I get from all the others I've been to. Also I am used to Hardee's which is what its called in east. the quality of biscuits here is less than half as good as Hardees. Will rethink coming here again.

Not much different than the other green burrito/Carl jr food but fries were dead in 10 mins and grilled chicken flautas were bland and not quite as good as they looked on the pic. nachos and tacos were good but not great. Summary, mediocre food and nice staff. Overall an okay stop on the way to/from San Diego.

I had enough gas to make it all the way to Chandler AZ (July 19th) without stopping but since I left San Diego at 3:30AM(!) I was ready for a cup of coffee by 6am when I got to Yuma. I broke down and got a breakfast croissant combo, which wasn't bad for fast food. The helper was pleasantly cheerful for such an early hour. The coffee was very good and really hit the spot. I needed it to stay awake the rest of the trip! It was right off the freeway so the location was fast and convenient. That's all I needed. Good job Carl's Jr.

Wow, if I could go led than one star I would. Look, it's fast food, and its not like Yuma is known for great service. So I didn't have high expectations, Keck I didn't have any expectations. But the service was so shockingly poor I can't stay quiet. We came here today because it's yumaand it's hot, we don't eat fast food often but our four year old daughter wanted play and they have a nice fairly clean indoor play structure she enjoys. First sign of trouble was that there was no one at the counter, and after waiting a few minutes an employee came out from the back, looked at us, walked past...walked past again...and then walked past a third time without taking our order or calling anyone else to. Finally he went to the register farthest from where we were waiting and then asked someone who just walked in if he could help her. She pointed out that we were waiting and he summed Amgen to notice us for the first time. We ordered, but he only gave us two cups despite three drinks in our order. I pointed that out and he seemed surprised, then said "oh yeah, the mall includes a drink" and have over a third cup. We got our drinks and my wife and daughter went to the play area, while I waited for our food. After a few minutes the manager brought food out to someone who had been waiting before we got there, when he saw me waiting he said "go ahead and sit down sir we'll being you your food when it's ready." I then made the mistake of believing him. After twenty minutes my wife started to question of our food was coming. After thirty her drink wad empty so when she went to refill it she took our receipt with her and asked where our food was. Good think too because the answer was "oh, we forgot about your order" About six minutes later the guy who took our order strolled over with a tray, my wife's food was there, and my fries, and a cookie and piece of cake we didn't order "to make up for the delay" but my burger was no where to be seen. I pointed this out and he looked at me like I must be joking. I showed him the receipt again and he said "oh yeah, I guess you did have a burger on your order" Another six minutes and my burger finally showed up, cold and half congealed. Yum. He also brought another order of fries with it...also cold. I guess the nice play area is worth the one star since our daughter does enjoy it. But even for fast food, in Yuma, the service here takes things to a new low.

Makes a decent stop on the drive from San Diego to Phoenix or reverse too. The bathrooms are a bit cleaner than the Am/PM in the same parking lot, but the service here is a little slow. So if you have 2 adults, have one go get gas at AM/PM and the other get in line for food. Yet be warned to check your food before you leave. While the customer service is nice, the food often is cold upon getting it even from the counter, (not just the drive through). There is a nice play area for kids if you have little one's too.

Our family of five stopped here on the way to San Diego. It had a large playplace for our kids to run around. The play area was fun for our kids who are 4, 2 and 1. Also there was a gas station next door. Overall it was not very clean. The play area had very dirty floors. Bring your Clorox wipes inside!!! Still, we will probably stop there on the way back home, because the kids had so much fun.

We always stop here in both directions when driving from Phoenix to San Diego because we have kids, and they offer a clean, indoor, play area for them to stretch their legs in.

I have had plenty of experiences with fast food restaurants and their management but this was worst by far. I have been a fan of Carls Jr. (Hardee's in the midwest) for sometime but when two different people have to make the same complaint over and over, it gets a bit irritating. So, this is how my experience went: It was during the fair week and my wife, my brother, and I were pretty starved after leaving the fair late so we decided to hit the drive-thru. As with most establishments that have this, we were greeted by 16+ worker on the intercom that seemed as if she was in a hurry, asking after each order "Is that all?", which became very unnerving. So, after placing our order, we arrived to the window, paid, and received our order without even giving us one smile. We pulled into the parking lot to split our orders apart being that we were all going our separate ways when my brother opened his chili fries. What a mess! It looked (I am sorry for saying this) like someone got very sick and relieved themselves in the box. Being that he is not a very outspoken man, we urged him to go inside and have them remake it. Very reluctantly he went in and after 5 minutes he returned with a small bag and looking quite upset. He explained to us that he had watched the cook drop the empty box that his fries went into on the floor and then picked it up and continued to made his order. I am sorry but anyone in the food handling business knows this as a big no no. So, finally I grab the bag and went into the establishment and handed it to the manager. I explained what my brother had saw, and did I get any kind of apology? Nope, all I received was a "We will make you another one." I took the fresh one and left, vowing never to take my service there again. They need to get their act straight and please hire people that take their jobs seriously or at least give the employees a refresher course in hospitality and sanitation.

This Carl's Jr has become bad. Though they are not my place of choice, they used to have better service. Last night I wanted to eat there because of the lighter choice burgers they offer. First sign of trouble was when I walked in and there was about 4 people just standing waiting for their to go order. As soon as we arrived our order was taken, however it took exactly 25 minutes before my patience ended and had to inquire about our order. They finished our order only when I brought it to their attention and gave me an apology and a cookie to make up for it. Food was really bad. Fish overcooked and burger didn't taste as it did last time I was there. I noticed it took an awful long time for people to get their orders. Not sure how they do business at this place. I do believe they give priority to drive thru but still, to wait 25-30 minutes at a fast food joint for your food is unacceptable. Also giving me a cookie is not going to make my experience better, just do things right. Couldn't even enjoy the cookie since as soon as i touched it became crumbs. Will not visit this location again.

Just another CJ on the side of the 8. Nothing spectacular, good or bad, about this one. It had the expected slow service and marginally clean bathroom.
