Bubba’s BBQ Menu

Menu wise, this place has gone down a bit in the last few years. But it's still my favorite spot for breakfadt. Great senior menu and daily specials. Breakfast is served all day. Barbeque wise you used to be able to order many beef dishes. Now it seems to be primarily pork so I only go for breakfadt...sorry but barbeque pork rind dies nit come close. I really prefer supporting the local business and NEVER went to the national chain for barbeque that is until Bubba sold this. Now when the craving for barbeque beef is unbearable I have to go to the chain.

Me love me da Bubbas! I have been enjoying breakfast here for almost 10 years. And, while owners have changed, not much else has. The food is still great, service friendly and wonderful, and the price is low. Listen to me now, go at 6:00 am, eat some fab offering and do it repeatedly. This is the place "where everybody knows your name". I am an Omelette person, and it's one of the few places where I will "have it my way". Yup, Shoes is back!

We had breakfast for lunch. It was good comfort food for a great price! We will be back soon! Service was good and they were all very friendly!

I have only ever eaten her for breakfast, and that is never a disappointment!! I ALWAYS go in starving, and somehow ALWAYS walk out with a box of leftovers!!! This place is almost like the land that time forgot- it has a 'opened in the 50's' feel, but that is okay. It makes it charming. The Snowbirds know about this place, so it can be a bit busy. We have only had to wait for a table once though, and it was less than 10 minutes. Some of the servers are amazing- attentive but not hovering, and some are efficient but slow, and not warm. They are great to my kids, and the food is large portions and tasty!! Go for breakfast!!!!!!

Typical 60 ' s diner food. I had the chicken fried steak and it was good. Not dry. The only thing I didn't like was the brown gravy on the mashed potatoes. Ask to have the country gravy on your potatoes. The salad was good and fresh. Husband and sister had the chicken fried chicken and said it was good and moist.

Cannot give much more than 1 due to the fact we never got seated. Went in today, Valentines Day, with our family and were never even acknowledged. It became obvious, after 15 minutes, that they could not handle the crowd. The front staff were so busy arguing over toast and we were not willing to continue to watch this. Advice?: at least acknowledge the customers as they walk in and designate one person to care for them. Too many bosses and not enough employees. Sad.

Waitress with long blonde hair was very sweet! Great service and I had to give my compliments to the cook. That country fried steak and gravy was JUST what I had been craving!! Fresh tasting, lots of flavor! I also loved the wooden wall panelling and the lanterns over each table.

Food was good. Typical breakfast place. Had the steak and eggs with country gravy and potatoes. Was not disappointed. Wife had the Eggs Ranchero she complained it had too much tomato taste I tried it and she was right. Too much sauce. I'm lace was packed service was friendly and good. Prices are very reasonable. For an older establishment it had a nice appearance.

As others have said, I go for breakfast instead of BBQ. Portions and service are really good, and they're open early. It's like a truck stop diner in the best sense; if you like that, you'll love this.

Nice local BBQ place in a town with few BBQ options. Overall it's a standard "Meat and three" but one of the three seems to have fallen off the menu at some point so it's more of a "Meat and 2". Good variety of meats/cuts and decent selection of sides. Staff is usually friendly and service has always been prompt for me. Never been let down by the food - though the price is just a tiny bit more than I would expect for only 2 sides. But I guess that's the way things are now.

Food was marginal. French dip au jus looked cloudy and tasted like bullion cube. Persoal pet peeve - I am diabetic and when I order diet coke regular coke is NOT acceptable. This error is way too common and happened here today. Staff spent the whole time at the counter next to my table doing prep work. Floor under table had several dirty napkins. Prices are good for what's available. There were s number of items crossed off the menu. Can't recommend but for as quick lunch it was almost acceptable.

I went here last Friday hoping to get some great bbq. What I ended up getting was pulled pork sanwhich with fries. Fries were soft and soggy. Now onto the pulled pork to me it seem old and hard. Left my plate pretty much all the way full. The waitress was nice other then that I won't be coming back.

Well the time has come for my first 1 star review... Here is the lowdown on Bubba's version 2.0. Bubba's changed hands a while back and the owners went on to open another BBQ joint near the foot hills. This place has gone down hill from there. We went there one evening for BBQ with some friends and we tried the following: The chicken The beef(maybe brisket??) The ribs The best item was the chicken and that wasn't great. The beef was undercooked(in terms of BBQ, it wasn't slow cooked long enough so it was tough to eat) and the ribs looked very tough to eat(they were ordered by our friends) The service was ok but they were out of a few items... One being Mac and cheese!!! I was not happy... the other was baked potato. Now on the baked potato the server said they could Microwave it and our friends agreed. (This is a food industry trick and I am sure many people have eaten microwaved potatoes and not known it.) Now the food took over 40 minutes to arrive to our table. (btw potatos can cook in the oven in about 45 minutes) and it just didn't taste that good. The garden salad was just iceburg, some cheese and dressing. The BBQ sauce didn't taste right... not sure if it sat on the table too long or if that was the taste they were going for... The only positive I have on the places is value for the amount of food you get. They did give me a lot of Beef(looked like at least a pound) for the price. But quantity wasn't enough to break the 1 star. Eat at your own risk.

If you want flat food, indifferent service, small portions, this is your place.

Local BBQ Joint. I ate here last week. I ordered the rib and chicken dinner plate. I had half a rack of ribs and a quarter chicken with Fries. It was ok. The portion was insane large. I also tried their shredded pork sandwhich. The flavor wasn't there, it missed the mark. I had ordered the mac and cheese. They completely forgot about it. The server was really friendly though.

Wow. Everything was dry, flavorless and uninteresting. I just can't convey how not good this place was. So, since 1/10th of a star is not possible, I'll just leave it short.

I ate here 5-8-08. This looks like a typical coffee shop but it has a BBQ menu. I had the 6 rib dinner with fries and garlic bread. All of it was excellent. The ribs had a slight dry rub on them and were cooked without sauce. The sauce that comes on the side is slightly hot and sweet and very good. The fries have some kind of coating on them and they are crispy and tasty. The garlic bread is grilled on one side and excellent, especially considering it is just plain white bread slices. I don't know if the are other BBQ places in Yuma, this being my first stop here. I would return to Bubba's if I come back to Yuma.
