My wife and I are in town from LA and stopped here for dinner as we had heard it was pretty good. It was MUCH better than that! First, our server Charlene. So Friendly! Her smile and her service were both 5 star. My wife had the fish & chips with sweet potato fries. Both were very good. The fish was fresh, and the tarter had good flavor. I'm a big fish & chip fan, but tonight I opted for the "Old Fashioned Tacos". Charlene said they were great, and she was right. They flat top the meat on the corn tortilla & crisp up the shell with a little oil, then sprinkle on some spice... That spice makes it sing! Next time I'm going to get a margarita with them! If you are driving through, or here all the time - eat here!

We visited the lounge while staying at the inn and Jenny was very friendly and funny! She took care of our drinks and appetizers without fail. I was very glad we decided to go there before we retired for the evening.

Ate here on our way through town. Checked yelp and decided this would be a kid friendly place to eat. The atmosphere had me a bit worried at first but the staff was friendly and the food was amazing! We had people to please from the age of 19 months to 66 years old and nobody was disappointed.

Place is nice. Just dont need to hear one of the waitrrss complaning about the job and customers. Talking a little loud. But that is typical American. Just got done with apptizer. Was very good. I ordered the scampi pasta. Was excelent. Food here is way better than most resturants in this area. Will be coming back. Hope the waitress is not working next time.

I went to Djs based on other yelp reviews. I must have gone on an off night because I certainly will be hard pressed to give them another try. I ordered two chicken strips with the side salad. The strips were over cooked and I was not able to salvage much of the actual meat. The salad was very wilted and I wouldn't even try it. We ordered the pound cake for desert. Have you ever seen a fork stand straight up in a pound cake. Nothing soft and spongy about it. We requested the berry sauce for the cake on the side and it was still all over the cake. Only way that would have been edible would have been a gallon of berries. The waitress was very unfriendly and didn't smile once. I would like to give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was over worked but there were only five tables in use and we got there during happy hour!

A quiet, away place for a good dinner. It is in a hotel lobby, only the sign out front points the way. The staff was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The manager came through and checked on everyone as well. Very friendly individual The food was great, well prepared and good sized portions. Had the spicy (Cajun) Alfredo which was fantastic. Wondered what they could do with "Cajun" and Alfredo together and was not disappointed! They serve beers from a local (Flagstaff) brewery and have a good selection of other goodies. Good place, we'll be back next time through!

Our family drove about 4 1/2 hours before we got to our hotel, and loved that the diner was in the hotel! We were so excited to be out of the car that we didn't even notice it took longer than average to get our meal (7 people!) our waitress came and apologized for the wait, and like I said we didn't even realize it was taking so long. Everything was so fantastic and delicious even my 5 year old finished her whole plate! :-) In the end they even comp'ed a portion of our meal because of the wait. If I'm ever in Winslow again, I will definitely eat there again!

Best meal we've had on the road since CA. I was skeptical since it is right off I-40 and in a hotel, but food was great A good assortment of salads, sandwiches, and entrees. I had their special salad--apples, cranberries, pecans, blue cheese crumbles, fresh greens, and sweet potato. The perfect place to get a break from all that greasy roadside food you've been piling up under your seatbelt.

One of the only places open in Winslow on Christmas Eve at 9pm, we stopped in here for a bit of dinner before heading back on the road to Albuquerque. The hotel was quiet and smelled and looked quite clean. There was a restaurant towards the back of the first floor with a host and table service, but we bellied right up to the bar so we could get back on the road as quickly as possible. We were served food and drinks by our sweet bartender who was in a delightfully good mood despite working late Christmas Eve (with kids at home no less!) I ordered an apple, blue cheese & mixed greens salad which was fresh and lovely with lots of crisp veggies. My husband ordered us some mozzarella sticks to start (damn him, he knows my weakness!) and a plate of carne asada tacos for himself. His tacos were ginormous and plentiful (I think there were three), SUCH a big plate of food for like $8. I was quite partial to the mozz sticks, as they were coated in an egg wash and deep fried, not just rolled through bread crumbs like some others. YUM. Good food and great staff for a reasonable price. No issues with time - got right back on the road when we needed to.

When traveling through Winslow, Arizona, there is a food desert right along the real desert. One place stands alone, unless you are spending the big bucks to stay and eat at legendary La Posada. DJ's is located tucked away and hidden inside the Quality Inn motel and I would suggest if you want a hamburger that is good and extremely larger than life, go here. Angus beef, fresh ingredients and a throwback to a time when food matters. Search. You won't be sorry.

Staff was very friendly, the manager/owner went above and beyond. It was a little busy when we got there but he saw us waiting and go us to a table immediately. Food was decent, water could be filtered but all in all, not too bad. Not a bad stop if you are traveling and want to grab some food in Winslow.

I haven't experienced the bar portion of this place, but the restaurant is nice. It has a good vibe, the prices aren't bad at all, and the food is lovely. I don't come here often enough.

Ordered burger medium well it arrived rare. Gross. Before i realized the undercooked beef i noticed garlic seasoning on the fries. I requested plain fries which arrived very quickly with a great attitude from the bartender. Quick because the cook didn't fry them completely. Sooooo - eat elsewhere

Food was horrible, broccoli was frozen, rice pilaf was from a bag and the 'cajun blackened' chicken was nothing more than a frozen chicken breast with some way too salty soupy seasoning, the chicken was not grilled or blackened. I cook better than this at home. A rip-off for a $14 meal. Save your money and your taste buds and go to the McDonald's next door.

I was a little skeptical about eating at a restaurant in a Quality Inn but wanted a hamburger so tried it based on the reviews. This place is a hidden gem! Both my friend and I got the Inn Burger. The half pound Angus beef was perfectly cooked to order (one well done and one med well). Toppings were fresh and just the right amount. My applewood bacon was crispy. Service was very professional and prompt. Was surprised there were only two other occupied booths at 1pm. Obviously word hasn't gotten out. Only complaint I had (and it's a small one) was the fries were a little over seasoned for my taste. I am not into spicy so I am a little sensitive to it. You may want to ask for less or no seasoning if that isn't your thing. Otherwise I highly recommend DJ's

Thanks fellow Yelpers for pointing us in the right direction!! Hubby and I were traveling west on I-40 and were looking for a non-Mexican food restaurant...do you know how difficult that is in New Mexico & Arizona...LOL Anyway, by 3 pm we finally found DJ's, and what a find it was. In the middle of nowhere and in a Quality Inn of all places we went to DJ's...flatbread pizza and harvest salad...YES!!! And, when was the last time you had cloth napkins and tablecloth at a café. Kudos to the management of this nice casual restaurant.

I would have to agree with the other reviewer. The food is excellent! Especially the burgers. Good food portions and a laid back atmosphere, what more could you ask for.

Stayed at the Quality Inn on the way to Las Vegas. Based on the prior reviews, I decided to try DJ's. I had a terrific meal -- DJ's steak with spiked mashed potatoes and green beans. Total meal including coffee was less than $25. The dining room was very clean, and the servers were especially friendly. Everything was 5 stars in my book.
