Stayed over in small town Williams, AZ on our way to The Grand Canyon on Saturday 11/08/2014. Stopped in South Rims for dinner. Enjoyed friendly atmosphere, good service, very good food and priced appropriately. The shrimp corn chowder soup was spectacular!!! The rest of the meal was outstanding.

Stopped by with my wife on the way to the Grand Canyon. It was still kind of the off season and later on a Tuesday night so we were the only ones there but we still received excellent service. The bartender was very knowledgable and friendly and we were not disappointed in the beer selection. It is actually located on the east side of Williams on rte 66 NOT on the west like shown on the map. A must place to stop if you are staying in Williams and worth paying for a premium flight for the souvenir pint glass.

This place is super cute! Reminds me of something you'd see in Paso Robles or a wine country. At the end of the main drag so there is plenty of street parking. Staff is friendly and super inviting. They have fun games you can play with food as well. This is gonna be one of those spots I hit up every time I goto Williams from now on!

Absolutely Amazing!! This place is on a stretch of historic Route 66 in Arizona. Great ambiance and the food is spot on. Started with the imported cheese platter which had Blue Cheese, Gouda, Gruyere and one other cheese that I can't remember, olives, marinated peppers, cherry tomatoes and grapes.. It was enough for 4 people. Followed it with the French Dip Sandwich.. First time in a very long time that I didn't have to ask for salt and pepper. The beef was seasoned beautifully and the dip was on the money. Great heated outdoor patio and the owner is an absolute gem.. Congrats on a creating such a warm and inviting establishment!! PS the GTO in the front window will stop you in your tracks!!

This place is wonderful!!!! I can't believe a small town like Williams is lucky enough to get a classy place like this. It's classy yet not stuffy and extremely friendly and welcoming to everyone that comes in to enjoy wine, beer or their many food selections. I'm into wine so I enjoyed a wine flight the other day and they helped me learn a thing or two about the wines I was drinking which I enjoyed. There is a first level sommelier who works here named Emerson who is really fun to talk to you. He certainly knows more than your average wine drinker like me, so I enjoyed picking his brain a bit, like what is an old vine and wine and why is it special? If you want a wine flight or a beer flight, you have choices and can create your own, which I really liked. There are 4 main areas to sit with friends and enjoy the offerings. Two are inside and two are outside. Inside there are comfy chairs and nice seating areas set up with, many have games or decks of cards nearby for you or your kids to enjoy. Yes, it is family friendly but probably not a place for toddlers. Our kids are 10 and 7 and the enjoyed a game of Life while my husband and I enjoyed a glass of red wine on a cold, stormy afternoon. During nice weather though, the outside areas are just lovely and I can't wait to come back to enjoy them! They even have heaters if there is a little chill in the air. The food selections are more than I expected for a wine bar. They have a few salads, including Caprese, one of my favorites. They have about 6 or so plate selections that include a nice cheese tray with fruit and crackers and an Italian antipasto plate that sounds yummy. A few desserts and non-alcoholic beverages like soda round off the menu. I could easily have lunch here if I was coming without kids in tow. We live out of town but come to this area about twice a year and I can't wait to come back, especially in the summer when I can enjoy the outdoor areas that are so comfy and trendy. This place is sure to become a favorite spot in the little western town of Williams, AZ.

This place is amazing! The food was very good. I love their selection of craft beer, which is all from AZ. The big blue van will keep me coming back! We went when they had live music on the patio and it was so much fun! the patio is so nice with tons of comfortable seating. I love the decor and just the atmosphere of the place in general. I will definitely make it a point to go every time I am in Williams!

We order some appetizers and by mistake they brought one extra, we didn't really care and agree to pay for it, they didn't charge us for the extra item, everything was really tasty I loved the crab cakes. They had really good personal and it's such a nice place to chill.

This place is great. Amazing patio to have some good eats and try a wine or beer flight. Our server dude was super nice and we (2 couples) agreed that if we lived close by, it'd be our favorite spot to frequent.

This must be the best kept secret in Williams. The place is at the end of the strip and gets missed by most passers by. It's classy yet comfortable. The food was fantastic and they had the largest selection of local Arizona beers in town. My new favorite place to go in Williams by far.

Great spot and a "must-do" if visiting Williams! If I was a local, I'd be here for Monday night football pretty regularly. Solid beers on tap, the flight was a nice option and I really enjoyed all the options my awesome waitress suggested. The food was really well done - I had the French Dip sandwich - super thick cut roast beef (no deli roast beef here!) with a little provolone (not so much that it overwhelmed the sandwich) on a roll that was solid enough to hold up to the meat, but still soft enough to dig into, with a large bowl of au ju...amazing sandwich! Great spot for families or a night out with friends - board games and card games throughout the restaurant made you feel like they wouldn't mind if you hung out all night long, and the friendly waitresses were really helpful, efficient, and super pleasant. Hope this place makes it - it's down the street a bit from the busy part of town - wish we had a spot like this in Philly! Spread the word, South Rims has it going on!

This restaurant is trying to do something different in Willliams. They are a wine bar that serves wine flights, beer flights, some casual fare options and cheese / antipasti plates. They are not serving tapas. Maybe they do that in the busier part of the year. Online menu offered much greater selection than what was actually available. There are differ errant sitting areas with games. Unfortunately the sitting area we were in had a very strong coconut smell (air freshener or possibly wood cleaner) that made it hard to fully appreciate the wine tasting. Food was ok.

really, really enjoyed this place! great selection of beer and really helpful and nice staff! we'll definitely be back!! :)

This is a fantastic new addition to Williams. Nice atmosphere that allows for any type of seating selection desired. Very kid friendly with a wide selection of games for all. They have a great selection of Arizona based wine & craft beers that are delicious. The service is over the top with personable, friendly staff. Ask for Arnie & order the tacos!!!

Fantastic experience! Had a flight of beers and warm pretzels. Outstanding quality. Extremely friendly service. Can't wait to return.

This is a nice little place in the small town of Williams. Thanks to Yelp, we found this place. Location: An easy stop off the 40. Parking is easy. Service: There weren't too many people when we ate lunch here, but our server was very attentive throughout our stay. Food: The food I ordered was good. I ordered the caprese skewers which were tasty. The pretzel basket was OK, but the beer cheese was runny and not so tasty. My mother ordered a chicken Ceaser salad and loved it. My sister ordered a Greek salad, which was just OK, nothing special. Ambiance: There were games and comfortable seating everywhere. It seemed like a fun place to hang out!

Excellent beers & service! Food was tasty and just the right portions to compliment our beer flight, we will definitely be back when in Williams AZ.

Straight up best stop in Williams! Service was so welcoming and food was off the chart amazing! French dip, best wings ever and pretzel bread imported from Germany with beer cheese for dipping that was so good we almost did shots! Which leads us to the beer flight & a great glass of red blend for seven bucks ... Bravo!!!!

Rolling through Williams, AZ, we stumbled upon this little gem. It was a beautiful sunny day, so we chose to sit out on their patio under an umbrella covered table. It was perfect! Even though the restaurant is spread out into multiple rooms, our waitress was still attentive and on top of our order and drinks. They offer many local Arizona brews, so I tried the peach ale from Four Peaks. It was a perfect day-drinkin' kind of beer! My family and I ordered the pretzel basket with the beer cheese, the caprese skewers, and a couple of the salads. The greek salad was pretty generic, but my mom raved about her chicken ceasar and gave it 5 stars. The pretzels were delicious, but I would definitely skip the $2.50 beer cheese add-on. Our cheese was runny, and we weren't too impressed. The caprese skewers were beautifully presented, and had a perfect flavor. I would've been happy with those and the pretzels with mustard! Definitely worth a stop if you're passing through Williams. Cool building, great menu, and chill vibes.

Stopped in Williams on a Tuesday night for dinner. Based on Yelp reviews selected South Rims Wine & Beer Garage. Wish we hadn't. It was just OK but there were several other establishments in town that appeared hopping with fun. Next time we will follow the crowds. For me the chicken philly was both tiny & costly. The flavor was nice but nothing remarkable. The beer was good & nice selection. The cole slaw was vinegary. Service was ridiculously slow, so much so it angered my dining companion who threatened to walk. Atmosphere was fine but furnishings are uncomfortable and inappropriate for a restaurant setting. Also some background music would add greatly.

This was next door to the hotel we were staying at so we wandered over. Our server was great. He was very attentive and quick to offer a taster of interesting local beers and wines on tap before we committed to buy it. The restaurant itself was very unique. The typical commercial beers (bud, coors, etc) was only in the bottle and the tap was filled with wonderful local options. The food tasted amazingly fresh. including the sides. The wife had the chicken, bacon, ranch sandwich with red potato potato salad and I had the "build your own" pretzel burger and coleslaw. We finished it off with a iron pan of homemade chocolate chip cookie covered in ice cream and served with a side of whip cream. The entire experience was great and we enjoyed every minute of it. The place was decorated with beautiful photos of local attractions, such as the Grand Canyon at sunrise, and a beautifully renovated Pontiac GTO. We will be returning to this place again. I highly recommend it to anyone that loves fresh ingredients and beers with some flavor.

Cool place to stop into, it's not directly in the heart of the town, it's off to the side by a 2 minute drive so you wouldn't know to stop in unless you were looking for it like we did from looking it up online. The manager was very friendly and they had a great variety of wines and local beers, all of which we enjoyed, and the food was excellent. I recommend trying a flight of wine or beer, we got one of each so we tried a little bit of everything.

  • Ben L.

Amazing. Excellent beer selection and an Au Jus that yo mama would drop her pants for!

  • Silvina G.

We may have been the only people to stop by this place NOT for the wine/beer but for a quick bite to eat before heading out for the rest of our road trip. Came here in the afternoon and it was DEAD QUIET. And maybe rightly so because it was a weekday but still. (would probably be more fun at night) However, the food did not disappoint. I got the chicken soup and mac & cheese. My friend got the french dip sandwich. I expected just normal bar-quality food but it was delicious! I'd definitely go back if I was in the Grand Canyon area.

Good beers. Decent wines. Great Servixe. Delicious food Nice outdoor patio Cool atmosphere. Love the music. Fun games to play, board games kept kids busy , giant Jenga. Chicken cheesesteak kicks ass. Caprese kabobs rule. Best place in Williams.

  • Matt D.

My girlfriend and I went on vacation to the Grand Canyon and spent the night in Williams. We use yelp often when looking for places to eat and this place had the best reviews that we could see. And they definitely didn't disappoint. The food was great, the staff was really friendly, and the atmosphere was really cool. Great outside patio area with games and tons of seating. The only thing is that it's not near the "center" of Williams. But don't let that discourage you. It's worth giving a try!

  • D P.

Just had the soup of the day, crab and corn chowder, and it was very tasty. The pretzel burger was very good, cooked to perfection. Wife the French dip and wants to come back tomorrow for another. Loved the car garage theme. ....I want that car. Come for the atmosphere and food you won't be disappointed.

  • Mark D.

Nice place, loved the wine or beer flights. Food and service were below par. Went on a Sunday night watched the football game, which could have been the problem, they may not have expected the crowd and were a little overwhelmed especialy with a waitress who I hope was in training. All that said I would give them a try again.

Stopped here for lunch on our way back to California. The decor inside was nice. Real chill and casual. I orderd the chicken Philly cheesesteak on a roll. Flavorful and the bread was very good. I tasted the crab cakes from my friend and that was very good. Had a nice kick to it. And to go ordered the pretzel sticks. This is definitely a nice place to get lunch.

This place was amazing. Best burger I've ever had. Beer selection was vast. Paul, our server, was a really cool guy. Came by often and made sure everything was going well. Recommended!!

we found this place on yelp on our way back from the grand canyon. SO GLAD we did! my dad was having trouble picking a beer. I think it was the owner who walked him through his options and was very knowledgeable about his selection. Finally settled on one he liked after tasting 3. atmosphere is awesome. huge outdoor patio and a really intimate bar inside with board games and a GTO right in the middle. Food was good but the menu was pretty small. definitely coming back every time I'm in Williams.

The Nachos are a Complete Joke! How can the Owner's Stand Behind Crap like that? I, was given a plate with Chips, Chopped lettuce, a Tablespoon of shredded cheese, Unseasoned, UnFlavorful Dried out grilled chicken chunks, a Liquid Mess of a runny/watery cheese sauce-I Think?? and Salsa & Sour cream. The Chips on the bottom of the plate were so soaked in Cheese Water that I could not eat them. So, I Paid 12 bucks for chips and salsa/sour cream. The Only Good thing is that this is the Only place in America selling Nachos this Bad-So, it's a Sight to be Seen on Route 66 and I will be Crossing off the "Worst Nachos Ever" on my Bucket List Now!

  • Brad L.

Yes, their beer and wine selection is outstanding, especially their locally sourced beer. And a flat of (4) 4.5oz beer of your choice is priced under $9, which is a steal in itself, but the real hidden wonderment is their food. Fresh ingredients, great tasting, with plenty of menu options to warrant a return visit. Ordered the pretzel basket with beer cheese dip for appetizer. Was perfect! I enjoyed a french dip with a good sized side salad for dinner and my wife had their BBQ Chicken pizza. Everything was delicious! Planning on going again before we leave Williams in a few days. Relaxing indoor and outdoor seating, great for small to large groups and kid friendly too! business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you're connected in any way to the owner or employees.

Really great food and a nice staff, my husband is a bit of a beer guy and thought that the stouts weren't very 'stouty '...overall we had a very enjoyable evening! Would Def recommend!

Staff was nice, beer was ok, wine list short. Was kinda disappointed. Only had drinks so can't comment on the food.

  • Sonja L.

The best pizza I've ever had. The way the flavors came together in the BBQ chicken pizza were amazing. Absolutely loved the Chardonnay that I chose and the two beers, a chocolate stout and a blueberry ale were the best I've ever had. Oh and the crab cakes left me wanting more. I think the app should have more than 2. Yummy!! The staff were also top notch. Loved Paul!! Don't miss out. Come enjoy the outdoor patio. List of comfy couches.

  • Dan D.

Beer and food good, wine and service not so much. The wine is on tap from bags and tastes horrible and the girls behind the bar kept complaining about their personal lives like i give a shit. Did have a good roast beef dip though.

A Yelp pick that is well deserving of it's 5 star rating. We were staying in Williams during a weekend getaway to the Grand Canyon. Decided to stop by South Rims based on recommendations from the locals we talked to, Yelp reviews (and TripAdvisor as well....kinda feel dirty saying that website's name here lol) as well as the fact that they offer a wonderful selection of Arizona Mirco/Craft brews here. What to say. From the badass '67 GTO on display to the friendly service and impressive selection of beers and wines everything about this place was spot on. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere, welcoming to children (which is unusual for these kinds of establishments), good pub grub and a pet friendly outdoor patio. If I was a local or lived in Flagstaff I would be in here on a regular basis. I'll be sure to stop here the next time I'm in Williams and recommend you all do the same.

  • Derek W.

It might be one of the newer kids on the block in historic "downtown" Williams, but South Rims has all the vibe, decor, and panache of a bygone age...an age when Route 66, the beloved "Mother Road" on which it sits, was America's pioneer highway. Today, South Rims stands as a welcome sign of life on the fabled but sleepy and oft-bypassed road, a converted space sporting overstuffed comfy vintage chairs and sofas with low-slung coffee tables (instead of standard restaurant tables and chairs). The two large and open indoor rooms lead to a massive and comfortable outdoor patio area, and the owners sell an array of Native American crafts in addition to solid food and spectacular, Arizona-only draft beer. I happened into this place for an early weekend lunch, but that didn't stop me from sipping a delightful cherry and vanilla porter from a brewery just up the road in Flagstaff. The other 6-7 draft selections sounded almost equally intriguing. To go with my beer, I dialed up soft pretzels with Dijon mustard, a solid version of one of my favorite carbo-loaded treats. For a main course, my girlfriend and I shared the grilled chicken breast stuffed with fontina and prosciutto, a very satisfying and filling dish that was a bit too rich owing to its lemon butter bath. The penne pomodoro accompaniment was stellar, distinguished by its chunky and herb-infused sauce. It was hard not to really like and feel at home at South Rims. The staff were warm and attentive, the 1960s and 70s music was top-notch, and the overall experience was more big city than small town. I hope it survives and thrives.

  • Alex E.

Great decor, food & beer. Pretzels with beer cheese dip were awesome! (Tip: pour the leftover cheese dip over your burger!) Red wines were served a little too cold, which is disappointing considering they call themselves a "WINE and beer garage". Server and chef were both not familar with the menu in seemed, as they both forgot that the wedge salad is served with bread (as listed on the menu) and tried to charge us $2 for it when my mom asked for it.

    (3)
  • Oliver K.

Yep, this place still has it going on. I had chicken wings to go and my usual BBQ chicken pizza. With my Copain Pinot Noir, I was in heaven watching the NBA Finals and chatting with the girls on duty. While I was bemoaning the low Yelp rating to the staff a customer chimed in from one of the tables. He looked like a "techie" (how judgmental of me!) and said he uses TA more than Yelp, too, because their ratings seem more dependable than Yelp. So, it's not just me. Hopefully, karma will take care of the phonies out there with their ever-increasing top rankings and the throngs will descend upon South Rims as the season heats up. It's still my go-to place when in town.

  • Linda W.

Just keep passing through Williams Historic Route 66 to the eastern end of nostalgia. There you'll find this surprisingly delectable wine and beer tasting environment from actual garage with a vintage GTO to overstuffed sofas outside while stargazing. The pairing of gourmet foods is amazing and well-thought out. The staff, especially the owner, Dan Watt, is friendly and accommodating.

  • Susan G.

As a part time local, I have got to say "I LOVE THIS PLACE!" It's kinda hidden at the East end of town on RT. 66. Once truly a garage, South Rims Wine and Beer Garage is without a doubt the BEST place in Williams to hang out. There are four different areas, two of which have great bars for tasting local craft beer and wine. There are two outdoor areas which are pet friendly. This place is also kid friendly with lots of games and couches and comfortable chairs. If you are single, you will feel totally comfortable here. The last time I ate here, I had the Chicken Marsala which came with a yummy salad, Rosemary Potatoes and steamed veggies, add a glass of a delicious Rhone style red wine all for under $20. The menu is constantly evolving and they have lots of great specials. This is a totally casual place so be prepared to relax and enjoy!!

As a spring break vacation, my parents and I decided to go on a road trip through Utah and Arizona. After a day of driving and going to the Grand Canyon for sunset, we wanted a bite to eat. After finding this place on Yelp with a five star average, we decided on it. My mom got a wine taster, which she loved. I got a pretzel basket, which is full of jumbo pretzel sticks. Do not be fooled - they aren't normal, cheap pretzel sticks. They are really good and taste just like a normal soft pretzel. And the banana gelato, which I got for dessert, is really great. I recommend it. If you have just spent the day at the Grand Canyon or are doing anything else nearby, stop by here for good food and a good time. Five stars. (Our waitress was Jessie. She was nice.)

We were in Williams for the day and found this place via Yelp. What a great place with AZ beers on tap, changed weekly for variety, and a very pleasing menu. I had their delicious crab cakes with chipotle remoulade and their to die for wedge salad with fresh bleu cheese dressing. My husband had their pretzel bun burger and homemade potato salad. The owner was there, very gracious and welcoming. South Rims at the east end of Rte 66, two blocks up from downtown. It is well worth visiting.

Go here!! We almost got sucked in to going to a more "touristy" place but so glad we didn't. Great selection of beer and wine and totally welcomed our 3 kids. Worth it!!

    (5)
  • Liza N.

If you miss this place when you come through town, you missed out! They treat you like a local and welcome children. Get a beer or wine flight (can't lose) and the cheese plate! Trust me....You'll be happy you did.

  • Aly F.

We has so much fun at South Rim Wine and Beer Garage. The atmosphere is relaxed, as you come you get to choose between tables, couches, and cozy little seats. My boyfriend ordered the flight of beer, and I ordered the flight of wine. We each sampled 4 delicious alcohol selections. I loved every single wine in my flight! During drinks and dinner, we grabbed one of their many board games and played "Trouble", an old childhood favorite. We will definitely come back every time we visit Williams, AZ.

We don't know how this has 5 stars. This is probably the first time Yelp has failed us. The only nice things was the decor. We were in town from Phoenix with our kids and went here because of the 5 stars on Yelp. A whopping $70 dollars later, we wished we had stayed at our hotel and ordered pizza . Let's start with what they called "pizza". This was not pizza. I will eat just about any pizza and I am not picky so for me to say it was awful means it must be pretty bad! Also, the fact my kids didn't scarf it down should speak volumes too! It was on pita bread which should have been my first clue....then it came out and the cheese was barely melted. It was flat out gross!!! The clam chowder was okay. My husband had the pretzel burger which he said was not very good. On top of that, the waitress told us we could sub his side for a cup of soup yet failing to mention there was a $3 up charge for doing so. I had the Chicken Cesar which was mediocre at best. As I mentioned we are from Phoenix and trust me we know what a 5 star restaurant is and I assure you this one is not even close. So, all these great reviews must be from some really drunk people eating their food. We do not recommend this place , unless you just want to go there to drink and then it might be okay, but you have been warned about the food! Then again, if you are drunk when you eat the food your standards are lowered so you might be okay again. Bottom line is, we would not recommend this place and especially sober!!!!

This place is rad! The bbq chicken pizza is really good I washed it down with a Arizona peach ale!! Our 10 year old got down on an order of the spicy wings

Based upon other Yelp reviews, we decided to check out the location which looked acceptable for children. We came to Williams to board the Polar Express with our 8 year old daughter, her best friend and great parents. Despite being a Wine/Beer location, the location looks like it was plucked from a movie set including a GTO car on display, warm comfortable leather lounge chairs and couches, bar style tables and a "board game" area/table which kept our daughter both occupied and happy! The menu is high end bar comfort food that was very well plated and wonderfully tasting. I ordered a flight of local craft beers that our server (Tasha) knew well and exceeded my expectations. I also went with her recommend of the Crab Cakes and was not disappointed! Simply, this a wonderful location to take your family for an afternoon or evening of relaxation either enjoying the beverages/food and/or sports events on the big screen TV. The owners are former Boeing employees which means they are dedicated to quality and the enjoyment of new friends!

Paul served us during our recent trip here. It is s terrific place with a fantastic selection of beer, wine and food. We each had a flight of beer, wine, and filled two growlers to take with. We had the meatball sandwich, submarine, and the eggplant sandwich. The coleslaw was the first to go. It is outstanding. This is a real gem. We hope to come back to Williams just to come here. Do not think twice. This is an outstanding place!

OK you Yelpers are right again - the 5 stars awarded this place are well deserved. We were recommended this place initially by Railside RV Resort where we are staying in our motorhome. We always double check with Yelp and seeing 5 stars dropped in. The ambience and decor are great and we ordered the BBQ chicken individual pizza - SO good, tasty and spicy (jalapeño) so we ordered another. I had the Argentinian Malbec, hubby had the Sweet Devil Stout as they were out of Sex Panther, Double Chocolate Porter. My Malbec was smooth and hubby LOVED the stout. We will try and find the cans somewhere local. Bill for two individual pizzas, a beer (pint) and a wine $30.71 + tip. Even though the pizzas were not big, I an sufficiently full on one and hubby is pleasantly satiated but will probably have some leftover chili when we get back home. A cool black GTO on display in the establishment and a games table off to the side for kids (of all ages). Very cool place, would definitely return.

wow, were we disappointed last Monday when we went here. Met friends in town for our vacation and I convinced them to go with us here based on the Yelp reviews... 2nd time in my 7 years as a Yelper that I have been so disappointed in the reviews... We hiked from the other end of town to get here. The place was clean and interesting but that is the only nice thing I can say. We were a party of 8 and were seated outside. Waitress looked bored and took a while to get us menus. took our drink order and then disappeared for almost 10 minutes... ( bar was in the next room) we finally got our drinks (2 beers 2 wines, one water and 3 sodas)and she took our order. then more waiting.. almost 25 minutes before our food came. I would understand the wait if the place was busy but we were one of 2 tables in the entire place that had customers!!!!! No apologies for the wait when the food finally got to us... The food was only OK.. nothing special..... Really don't understand what the other reviewers were raving about... If you are in an out of the way location, your service and food better be pretty darn good to entice people to come... Sorry to say I cannot recommend this place..

Best place in town! Good food. Great prices. Classy but unpretentious. Hard to find at the end of town but way worth the search! Fabulous beer and wine selection! Don't miss it!

We had fun trying a few different flights of beer (wine flights available also) Had a very good, fresh salad as well. Our waitress also gave us a few samples of wine so we could choose a bottle to buy for take out!

Liked the décor most of all. Located in an old auto mechanic garage and they have done a nice job converting it to a bar/restaurant while keeping elements of the garage, (car lift) in tact. We also enjoyed the comfortable seating options with the variety of card games available for our entertainment while we waited for our food. Food was good, had the French Dip and enjoyed it. It wasn't an issue for us as we were just driving through town, but it is a hike from downtown. Williams looks like a fun place to spend a couple of hours walking around if you are on your way to the Grand Canyon. They have done a nice job making the old town into a Route 66 tourist attraction. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We followed the Yelp reviews and we're not disappointed. Loves the Wine Flight and the Caprese Skewers as well as the Meat & Cheese Tray. Will definitely be back when we pass this way again.

I actually came here with my husband, his sister and her husband for her husband's birthday before the official grand opening. I fell in love. I am so delighted though not at all surprised at all the positive reviews and mildly amused at the couple of negatives. (I'm convinced they reviewed the wrong place. LOL) First of all, what a crazy-cool, unique place. The place is absolutely gorgeous and for me, worth every ridiculous penny, of which I am sure there were many, to crate the gorgeous bar, dining rooms and patio in this garage. It's absolutely stunning. And thank you for allowing me to drool over the GTO each time we visit. The place is perfect down to every detail. And it is immaculate! We always have fun talking to the owners/bartenders/servers. The menu has greatly expanded since opening with all kinds of fresh and unique treats. You are welcome to hang out and play a board game, try a wine or beer flight, have a freshly made sandwich, burger, salad or appetizer. Arizona wines on tap and locally crafted beers. So, yes, the owners have done it all perfectly and deserve the five star rating. Can't wait to go back.

This is a new place for Williams. Not a full service restaurant, much more casual and lounge feeling. Happy Hour is where it is at: what a great value and fun place. The food I had, Italian Antipasto Platter, was great and plenty for 2 people. Everything was tasty, especially the pepppadew peppers, capicola, & prosciutto. The other ingredients are also of great quality. southrims.com/images/mea… The beer menu is typically local and from the looks of it, seasonal. The actual establishment is eclectic; the oil change pit & GTO are offset by comfy leather/leatherette furniture in a somewhat Southwest color theme. There many & various games throughout and another bar "in back". I was here in winter and not sure if the alfresco section was to be permanent, but I would assume so since the weather in Williams is quite pleasant in the spring/summer. I will be updating this more when I get back there in the next month or so. My bottom line: great place to stop, hangout, have a few laughs, and have a great light meal or snack. A must for anyone staying in Williams.

Went here opening weekend during classic car show event. It got pretty busy considering it was the grand opening. I was quite impressed with the craft beer selection and love the pinot and the N2 on tap. Actually all the wines were impressive! It's about time Williams got a CLASSY JOINT in town! Can't wait to go back and do a tasting. They have cool t-shirts and tanks and lots of fun wine gear and gourmet sauces and jellies to shop while you sip! They also have games (cards, checkers type stuff on the coffee tables to make it fun). The owners are super friendly, down-to-earth folks! Highly recommend a stop if you are traveling through or a local!

I live in Williams and have been meaning to check out the "New Place" and finally today needed an escape and could not have made a better choice. What a fun place to hang out and relax. Great beer and wine selection. I was there during happy hour and enjoyed a few beer selections....loved the peach ale. Friendly staff- Jessica was a kindred spirit and made my day. My new favorite spot in Williams. Make this a "to do" when in Williams.

A+ atmosphere A+ beer and wine list Good tacos. Pathetic cheese plate-- it was like they took all the cheapest shrink-wrapped cheeses from Safeway and cubed them... they added some stale Craisins and sticky, mushy/soft candied pecans on the side.

The best spot in Williams! Great decor, food and wine. Interior was warm and inviting. Each spot had games and reading materials to enjoy while eating. My young boys loved playing UNO while hubby and I enjoyed yummy high quality wine and food. This place is underrated And should be on everyone's must "see and do" list while visiting Williams. Pro: kid friendly, great food, great wine and beer Cons: none

Great atmosphere! Great beer! Great wine! Overall best place to relax in Williams by far. Best of all it is extremely family friendly. The wives were relaxing on the couches, the kids were relaxing playing games, and the men were at the bar watching the game! Cant beat that. If I ever go back to Williams this is the bar I'll spend my money at. The growlers are super affordable. Hell $4 craft beers can't be beat.

Great atmosphere and great service. They do jot serve mixed drinks, which is a turn off for some people.. Not me! I love their ever changing selections of tap beet and wine!! Plus their specials are always different. You may get steak or you may get Mexican, keeps things interesting in this little town. I also love to eat on the couch lol. If you go during the day... bring the kids! they can set up with board games on the couches, the staff always is friendly and puts on cartoons and YOU can taste every local beer offered around town

Stopped on Tuesday to try their taco Tuesday. What a great find. The carne asada tacos were soo good. Very fresh, dark lettuce, great home made salsa and their side of beans were spicy. Great beer, I had a peach flavored one and loved it.. What is impressive is the cleanliness and bar. Ate there again on Wednesday. Had the chicken cheesesteak and meatball sub. Very fresh again. The marinara was perfect for the meatball sub. Cant wait to try out their weekend specials. The Italian and mexican dinners look fabulous. Really need to try this place, quality, service and ambiance really stand out in Williams....Also they have card decks: Old Maid, Crazy 8 etc which we played waiting for out food!

Bravo!!!!

It's worth giving a try!

we found this place on yelp on our way back from the grand canyon.

    (5)

If you miss this place when you come through town, you missed out! They treat you like a local and welcome children. Get a beer or wine flight (can't lose) and the cheese plate! Trust me....You'll be happy you did.

This must be the best kept secret in Williams. The place is at the end of the strip and gets missed by most passers by. It's classy yet comfortable. The food was fantastic and they had the largest selection of local Arizona beers in town. My new favorite place to go in Williams by far.

Great place! Go visit! Drink lots! Do note that the directions on the map are wrong (please fix this, yelp...) it's actually on the corner of Rte 66 and Pine St... Cheers!

Great place in Williams! Has only local beers, had a blueberry and chocolate beer that were wonderfully unexpected! You can tell the owners have tried hard to make this place something different in Williams. Great decor and nice patio to sit on! Paul, our bartender was great to talk to and gave us some history of the area. If you are looking for something different in Williams, go here!

Fantastic selection of Az wines and beers. Good food. We brought the kids and played game while munching on pretzels and the cheese plate. We will come back next time we are in Williams.

Bravo!!!!

Good beers. Decent wines. Great Servixe. Delicious food Nice outdoor patio Cool atmosphere. Love the music. Fun games to play, board games kept kids busy , giant Jenga. Chicken cheesesteak kicks ass. Caprese kabobs rule. Best place in Williams.

It's worth giving a try!

we found this place on yelp on our way back from the grand canyon.

Beer and food good, wine and service not so much. The wine is on tap from bags and tastes horrible and the girls behind the bar kept complaining about their personal lives like i give a shit. Did have a good roast beef dip though.

    (5)

    (5)

Go here!! We almost got sucked in to going to a more "touristy" place but so glad we didn't. Great selection of beer and wine and totally welcomed our 3 kids. Worth it!!

  • Danielle M.
