We stayed at Firelight as part of our honeymoon trip to Grand Canyon. Our first, and lasting, impression was that we were getting a luxurious experience. The place was extremely clean with thought and care put into every little detail, including even the breakfast plates. The couple who host the place were not only great hosts, but wonderfully friendly and welcoming as well. The place is very close to the restaurants in Williams and only an hour drive from the Grand Canyon - which is nearly as good as it gets. We felt so welcome that we caught ourselves thinking if we weren't living in San Francisco, we'd want to live somewhere just like that. If you're for any reason visiting Arizona and are driving within 200 miles of this place, trust me, it's worth it. We tried other places and missed this one very much. 5 stars, nothing less.

What a gorgeous bed and breakfast! Everything about this place was just perfect, I never wanted to leave. The owner was so amazing and friendly, and he cooked us up the best breakfast! FireLight has it all, it has a pool table, juke box, board games, movies, puzzles and a shuffleboard table. We felt so welcomed as if it were our own home for the night. There are so many special touches that were put into the decor of this bed and breakfast. This is a great place to stay if you are taking a trip to the Grand Canyon, but you might not want to book other hotels when you go because you will want to stay at FireLight the entire time! I can't wait to go back one day and experience this stay again!

This review is a bit tardy as the wife and I went here a few months ago to celebrate our anniversary. We decided to road trip it down to sedona then come up to Williams to stop over for our wanderings around the grand canyon then back to BC. Reservations were easy. We got in in the early afternoon, (fresh baked cookies were waiting for us) were the only ones there and found the room to be beautiful well appointed and cosy. We then went up and played the juke box and played table shuffleboard. A few other guests arrived and we had a nice chat with them, then went down to play pool in the billiards room. The place is like living in a beatiful mansion and is a great place. Retired for the evening, awakened the next morning to have an amazing breakfast to to meet our hosts and the other guests. The fritatta and maple sausage dishes were to die for. Packed some more cookies (ha ha) and shot off to the grand canyon trek. When it is time to get the heck out of the heat it is only a few hours drive down to williams take in the grand canyon and stay at this place the owners are really great and we will be visiting them again. I am getting into these bnb trips and totally suggest it for a weekend get-away from the heat of vegas.

This place converted me to B&Bs! The Inn is a renovated Tudor home, and whoever did the renovations earned his or her keep because the home is beautiful. The front entry way opens up to a room with an open ceiling to the third floor and a gorgeous fireplace. The kitchen is like something right out of a Better Homes and Gardens article. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed with a flat screen and whirlpool tub. The breakfast here was one of the best parts of our stay, not just the delicious food but the chance to talk with Debbie and Eric, the owners. Debbie couldn't be nicer and Eric will have you rolling on the floor laughing. You'll have to ask them how they met, it's definitely one of the more interesting starts I've heard of. If you're looking for a nice place to stay close to the Grand Canyon this is a great fit. It's just a short hour and a half to Grand Canyon village or you can take the train from here if you want. The Inn is also close the the historic downtown of Williams.

Staying at the FireLight B&B in January 2010 was the first experience my husband and I had with this type of accommodations. Being frequent travelers, our normal "gig" was to stay at higher end hotels. ... The Firelight opened our eyes to a completely new way of vacationing. First off, this house ... is immaculate. Debi has poured her heart and soul into refurbishing it and decorating every niche perfectly. I've even taken little tips and ideas and brought it home to our new house (like the beautiful English Country design and colors). The bed in the Yorkshire suite (the grand pubba) was amazing! Slept like a dream, which was so abnormal because I hate sleeping anywhere but MY bed. We enjoyed the large jetted tub as well, which was perfect because it was FREEZING outside and Flagstaff had just received a bunch of snow. Breakfast was awesome and delicious in every way. Yummy eggs and an awesome dessert type dealy that was too good to put into words. I especially liked the alcove in the top floor, a great nook to sit down and chat or read a book. Debi was super accommodating to our schedule and we felt like home. I can't wait to come back!

My wife and I stayed at the Firelight for our honeymoon and were pleasantly surprised. It is always hard to tell what a place will really be like just from looking at pictures on a website but this place was truly amazing. Eric and Debi (the owners) were wonderful people and totally made us feel at home and welcome. The place was immaculate! The breakfast was great and uniquely different every morning. This B & B was three stories high with the top level being all types of games. We played shuffleboard, video games, checkers, you name it. They also have a pool table downstairs that was a lot of fun. It was a great home base for our vacation. I have stayed in many B & B's over the years and this was by far one of my favorites. The Firelight is located very close to Bearazona, which was a very nice place to visit and see some wild animals up close and personal. I would strongly suggest this place to anyone that is looking for a great place to stay that is clean, modern, warm and friendly, cozy, romantic, with great food and close to the strip. Jeff H

My husband and I recently stayed at the Firelight B&B for our honeymoon in November. We had the BEST time. The house is set up in the hills not far from the main drag of Williams, but far enough away to get that cozy/quaint feel like you're in the mountains. Both Eric and Debi (owners) were there to great us when we arrived around 7:30. They were both very warm and made us feel welcome after half a day of driving. Eric then gave us a tour of the place and it's amazing! The first floor contains a common area living room with a nice seating area and fireplace. Adjacent to that is a small office where you can access the internet, guide books for AZ etc... Adjacent to that is another room with a pool table which is right next to the kitchen where they keep fresh bakes cookies and tea available to you all day (major plus for this cookie monster). Eric then took us upstairs to see the rooms, and all of them are very nice. Each room has a code that is set with your own personal code to unlock the door, which is nice so you don't have to worry about carrying around a key. We had reserved the suite, and let me tell you, it's the best room in the house. Right as you enter, there is a seating area with a couch and a nice size TV with DVD player and a cozy fireplace. Further into the room is a king size bed that you just SINK into. It has great soft sheets and a heavy down comforter (which was good since it was like 35 outside), and lots of big pillows. The bed was nice and high off the ground and they even had one of those cute little stools to get you up there. Adjacent to the bed, there was another smaller TV on top of the dresser. In addition to the wonderful bed, the bathroom was equally as wonderful. It had a jacuzzi tub big enough to fit the both of us and that looked out into the backyard which was all trees and hillside. There was also a large glass enclosed shower and two sink areas. Lastly, adjacent to the bathroom is a spacious walk in closet and a little vanity area. The room was very tastefully decorated and gave a warm/cozy feel consistent with the whole experience. I think what we liked most about the decor was that it wasn't overly Victorian and frilly like a lot of B&Bs tend to be. Finally Eric took us to the third floor where they have a great shuffleboard table, a jukebox, a Wii game system and board games. They also have a library of DVDs that you can take to watch in your room. Outside, they also have a firepit where they will even provide stuff for s'mores! Every morning breakfast is served at around 8:30 and we never had a meal we didn't like. Debi prepared everything to perfection and there was always fresh coffee and juices. They both gave us fantastic advice of places to see and things to do in the Williams area. The best thing about this location is that it is roughly one hour from the Grand Canyon and roughly one hour from Sedona. A great place to use as a base location and take day trips. And a great place to have to come back to in the evening to take a long hot bath and cuddle up by the fireplace in the comfort of your own room. We had such a fabulous time here that we are trying to get a group of friends to go back so we can rent out most of the rooms and have a "retreat" of sorts. My husband and I both highly recommend the Firelight Inn!
