This place serves solid steakhouse food at great prices, right along with those big steakhouse fries that you know you love. The decor is a little dated, but the food rocks. Steaks prepared just the way you ordered them, same with ribs, burgers, and other fare. Try the Black Forest Cake! The owners are German; it was on-point; and I've been to Germany many times to sample some of that stuff. All desserts in the house are home-made. Don't pass them up!

Ribeye n drink was $25. Ribeye was tasty, perfectly grilled and abt 1/4 fat. Mashed potatoes were outstanding, gravy ok. Salad was iceberg, green beans were canned, as was green chile (like Ortega mild, diced). Cowboy beans?!?! who r they kidding? I think it was Louizana hot sauce on boiled beans. Roll was sweet n tasty but not hot...not even warm. Waitresses were great...helpful, good about callbacks and refills, and looked after everyone. Owners appear to be Greek (not German!) and depend on the hospitality of the waitresses. Atmosphere campy 80s.i won't be going back.

I have gone here many times, for breakfast, lunch and dinner... since they first opened a few years back. (reopened, used to be another type of restaurant in the early 2000's) For breakfast it is not bad - they have hearty portions and the food is solid. The omelette's are okay but the skillets are quite a bit better. I have also had the pancakes which were delicious but you can't really screw up pancakes now can you? Lunch and Dinner are another story - overpriced in my opinion (when you can go down the road 6 miles to the TTT) and not "fresh". Meaning the vegetables seem to be the canned kind, the butter is not real, and many of the items seem like "processed" type food... which is fine but not at the prices they charge. I would say this is an okay place to go if you don't feel like driving into town... particularly for breakfast.

We have been there twice and so far have not been disappointed! It seems like anything you order has generous portions! The first time I ordered a club sandwich with fries.. The second time I ordered a steak which was cooked perfectly! The decor is outdated and when ive been there its been dead.

Really friendly staff and excellent service! This place has all the classic diner favorites for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They offer a breakfast Internet special that isn't on the menu so look it up, it may be exactly what you're looking for. Food is slightly better than places like Denny's, Coco's, Shari's or Village Inn.

The service was amazing! Large menu, with homestyle options. Our server was super nice and accommodating. My steak was cooked well, my husband's meatloaf was WAY better than my steak (how does that happen?! Meatloaf isn't supposed to be better than steak.) All in all, I think we made a great choice in eating here. I don't get all of the negativity? The only thing that I could think needs improvement is perhaps the bread that was served with dinner, but who makes a decision based on a dinner roll?

Blaw.....they don't put love in their food. Menu options are HUGE which is a bad sign...can't be fresh. Most Everything seems to be out of a can or frozen. I'm a big time foodie and cook so maybe expectations are higher then some. Just a money maker. Expensive for the quality. We have givin them many chances. Although we have never tried their steaks but the idea of spending that kind of money after one after another failed experience just ain't gonna happen. I do like the historic bar and the waitresses and bartenders are always happy it seems. We only go for beer now.

Our family, of 4 with 2 teens, love this place. Food is delicious with generous portions, cooked to order with add-ons as desired at no extra cost. The owners, George and Dina, are just like family, warm and friendly. Waitresses are friendly and helpful. These old time family restaurants are few and far between. Always a great experience for a hungry family. Been going there about 2 or 3 years and always look forward to it.

We've eaten here twice and it's been a nice experience each time. This is an historic restaurant that is said to have been a favorite of Hollywood stars who were filming at Old Tucson Studios back in the old days. I had the tuna melt and it was a generous serving with large-sized fries. Do these huge fries have a special name?? It was an OK sandwich but a little too loaded with mayo for me. I'd like to try another sandwich on my next trip. My partner had the Greek salad and liked it very much. Our server was friendly and fast and attentive. It's a good restaurant for enjoying American comfort food. We will certainly return.

We went for our anniversary and were disappointed - what kind of a "steakhouse" doesn't have filet mignon on the menu? So he ordered meatloaf, which was just-okay, and I had the overcooked salmon. The canned green beans were okay, and the mashed potatoes were tasty. Basically, this is overpriced diner food - nothing special. The ambience certainly feels that way, and it doesn't smell like a good place to eat, IYKWIM. Anyone who really wants to know about this place should be sure to read the "filtered" reviews - we were remembering Walt's carwash from Breaking Bad as we left the parking lot, and we both felt pretty ill that night and the next day. Better to eat at Montgomery's 2 miles away.

We ordered t-bone steak & baby back ribs. The waitress was very friendly and the food was good, but given how good steak is supposed to be in AZ, I was a bit disappointed. It was just as good as the steak in applebee's or outback. But, the potato soup and the salad was ourstandingly fresh and tasty! So this place is still better than outback & applebee's.

Food was ok. Caters to the nearly deads. Want to charge for every last thing. $2 for 1/3rd ear of corn side dish.

Surprising little place back a way from the Interstate. Excellent service, quite good food, some interesting local red wines. The Carrot Cake was GREAT. A little pricy, but not outrageous.

Food is reliably good. Kids love it. Very friendly atmosphere. My family and I are regulars!
