I have been to Denny's in several states and the service here seems to be better. Had a 20% of coupon that I received in my email as I am a member of the Denny's rewards program. I am in town visiting my mom so we decided to go tonight and use the coupon. I had the Senior Tilapia Meal with seasoned zucchini veggies made with out butter and the rice pilaf and the fish without butter as i am allergic to dairy and they skipped the gluten seasoning because i gluten issues, The Server Mark was very accommodating and made sure to skip the croutons & cheese on my salad and the Texas toast because i can't have gluten, I had extra veggies and extra veggie sin my salad as well and there was no up charge.

For all those that are looking for the best wait staff and cooks and want to be treated like family, this Denny's is the best in tucson. Go on Tuesday mornings, the staff gets to know you by name and the portion are great. Best kept secret. And a bang for the buck!

Came here for a Dennys Fix at 11pm after a show, my friend and I knew exactly what we wanted before we even walked in. We were sat at a booth and there was only one other table with guests at it. We sat and waited for anyone to come by for 15 minutes.... then the waitress sat a new table and got their drink orders... UM EXCUSE ME. no fucking eye contact. this waitress had to walk by us to get to the kitchen. and everytime I said "Excuse me, we are ready" no response. Hello?! Is anyone home?? so naturally i began being passive aggressive to see if i could get her attention (we still didnt even have water) "HEY KAT DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT? I KNOW WHAT I WANT" "IM READY TO ORDER ARE YOU READY?" "ITD SURE BE GREAT TO GET A WAITRESS AROUND HERE" "DO YOU THINK WE WILL BE ABLE TO GET ANY SERVICES AROUND HERE!!!!!' (yes i yelled that last one) the waitress was not EVEN 5 feet away. she NEVER turned around to look at us. the other tables (25feet away) were laughing at the ruckus I was making. So we got up and left, "WE ARE LEAVING MAYBE NEXT TIME YOU CAN TAKE OUR ORDER" The waitress heard us then and said, "ok have a good night" WHAT THE LITERAL FUCK. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENNYS, and this waitress needs glasses and a good ear cleaning. maybe not, maybe just fired or sent for some more training. We were there 25 minutes with no service of any kind other than being seated.

The best Denny's location in all of tucson hands down, it sort of speaks for itself since a good number of other Denny's I've been too are closed down. Anyways I came here with a group of about 15 girlfriends on Sunday morning for breakfast, and we are used to terrible service since there are so many of us that at this point we just know service will suck. But this place was a pleasant surprise! The waitress was so kind and friendly and never seemed upset with our requests for different things. Our food all got out accurately and in a timely fashion. I'm was a bit quiet but a nice newer look to the store was refreshing. I was really in awe with the great service, taste, speed, and quality of food and cleanliness of the store. Thirty thumbs up! (From the crowd of 15 hungry but now happy ladies).

Fourth time was no charm. I tend to give the benefit of the doubt, but this place is lacking management during the night/later shift. Service was slow, kitchen was slow, and food has been hit or miss. Employees not in uniform working behind the counter, looks unprofessional. Not sure if the "A team" works during the day, but I would avoid coming here at night.

Service was terrible! It took forever and we spent most of the time without a drink. My food was cold, and the coffee was nasty. We were short silverware for the meal. And then when they brought out our sundae, they did not bring any spoons. Definitely not a $62.00 meal.

Denny's is always an easy go to place. Food is super affordable ranging from $2 and up. As for the quality of the food, it is pretty decent. Not too bad for the price. You can always find a Denny's practically anywhere. The place was pretty clean. Not too many employees. Overall I gave it 3 stars

Came here while we was on trip cause it is near the station the service was horrible. It took over 45 minutes to get our drinks and only got the soda the ice coffee took then an additional 15 minutes! The omlete had a nacho cheese sauce topping in place of cheddar yuk! :-( it was truly terrible. On positive note employe Ashley gave us 50 % off meal that was nice of her. If not for that this for sure be a one starr but cause she tried to fix I will upgrade to a 2 star

Best Denny's in AZ. Guaranteed. Dishes are consistently prepared well and the coffee is always fresh. Service has never been bad- no matter what time I show up. Newer menu items offer healthier choices like fresh raw veggies or grilled veggies right along side the traditional pancakes or Grand Slam. Take your pick! AND it's one if the few places open 24/7 in Tucson. Late work nights, late party nights- they're always there for me. Have you seen the new retro deco? Love my Denny's. at St.Marys & I-10.

Okay, I don't know why it took Yelp so long for me to be able to write an update to my recent experience at this particular Dennys, but now that I am able to, it's my pleasure to notify you all of how my less than stellar experience has since been rectified. The next morning, I contacted the GM of that store and notified him of the previous night's events. He apologized immediately and offered us a gift card in the amount of the check I had paid. We accepted and after work that evening we stopped by to pick up our card. On duty that evening was a different shift manager who was also apologetic and offered us not only the gift card left in my name, but also a free meal. I accepted but asked that we take them to go, as I was still reeling from a day's hard work. The food was good, in fact still hot by the time we got home- I had a double cheeseburger with fries. The next morning we used our gift card for a nice breakfast. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the management at Dennys for addressing our bad service. Their response was quick and to my satisfaction. You have earned my business again, and my hope is that affected staff will learn a valuable lesson about customer service.

So, I stopped here because it was open at 4a, I sadly wish I hadn't. Curb appeal was decent, but stepping onto the floor to have my shoes stick for each step I took into the diner was not appealing. The "host" seated us at a booth that was clean as all the other booths were not clean, because he verbally said so. Our food came out in a great amount of time, but my eggs were a bit burnt, and there was an obscene amount of butter on my toast that made my arteries shiver just at the sheer sight of it. There was constant yelling back and forth between the employees about money, and table assignments etc. I decided to pay on my card as I was short a few dollars for a tip, and the guy over charges my card by $60! He voided it right away, but this whole ordeal was such a disaster. I will more than likely never return to this location.

Stopped here for a quick lunch on our trek from San Antonio to Oakland. The food was good for a Denny's, but the standout feature was the service - our waitress was super-friendly (and not in the annoying, trying to get a bigger tip kind of way), and really helped us relax and enjoy our meal.

Nothing elaborate here. Simply a good restaurant with quick, friendly service. The food was hot, it tasted great, and it didn't take long to make it to our table. The manager was seen stopping by pretty much every table to check on things and see how it was going, which was good. Only two small complaints. First, the bathrooms; the men's room had an awful stink to it, like raw sewage, and the ladies' room was completely trashed from what I was told. Also, one of the servers (not ours!) had the horrible habit of slamming the tray stand back in its holder whenever she was done with it. Would startle everyone at the table every time she did it. Other than that, we were perfectly happy with our visit.

Well, the server had good customer service however paying attention to detail is key, dont ask your guests if they are going to tip. And don't forget to provide a pen jic the customer doesnt have a pen themselves, as I normally do I forgot mine that nighy. And for other servers working there do not show your true feelings when your coworker doesn't recieve the tip they expected. You get what you put in.

Yes, I know - reviewing a Denny's - AND giving them 5 stars?!?!? Here's why: This place rules when you're drunk. RULES. It's close to downtown/4th Ave., open 24 hours, and not nearly as busy as the Grill or the Taco Shop. $2, $4, $6 menu - with good things on it. The Denny's burger + fries = $6. The people that work here at night are SO nice! And tolerant - they don't judge your drunk, slutty friends - they just serve you, keep the waters full, and smile. Good or not, Denny's is always the same. There are always fried, terrible foods, big burgers, awesome slices of pie and plenty of parking spaces. I love you, Denny's @ St. Mary's and I-10. Thanks for the french toast, cheese sticks and friendly service!

If I could give this place "no stars", I would. Worst. Service. Ever! Took over an hour to get our food, had to get our own silverware, got a quesadilla for a very hungry little boy 10 minutes after everyone got their food, no apologies, comped the freaking quesadilla when another table got their whole meal comped, they offered a discount on our ticket if they could combined our checks, table after table came in & left before we even got our food, still no apologies, the manager didn't check on us once, the server never came to apologize for the delay, food was cold & orders were wrong & still no apologies...but we did get some really creative excuses about some cook who used to work at the Oyster Club (which is supposed to be high end) and how he's really good, but really slow. Not cool!
