Not sure why all the hate for this Chili's! Sometimes going to chain restaurants is a guilty pleasure I enjoy when I am traveling for work outside of LA. I usually get the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, no bacon. As usual, sat in the bar. I like how they have the thing in the bar where you can pay at the table. Sometimes the sever forgets about you because of this, but not here! Tye came by to make sure the food was good, brought some badly needed extra napkins before I could even ask, offered me my watermelon lemonade to go, and brought a printed check in case I didn't want to use the table thing. All of the employees seemed friendly and this experience satisfied my Chili's craving!

For a work lunch I like a Chili's burger once in a while. I like their salads and tortilla soup as well. This is your standard Chili's. Everything was as it is at any other. The reason I give two stars is because I usually order ahead via the app and when I picked up my food here it was cold. The app gives a pick up time, it should be made for that time, not as soon as the order comes in. I'll give them another chance as Chili's is the only chain I will go to other than In N Out.

This is your average Chili's. We visited after a trip to the paintball field in Marana. There were a couple of snags with the order like some of the other reviews have stated but overall, the service was really pleasant. Our server Eli was very sweet, accommodating and good to the kids. There was a mess-up in the kitchen with our meal prep but the manager came to us immediately, explained and fixed. It wasn't lightning fast food delivery but, the service was good. Once our food arrived it was delicious. I liked my Grilled Chicken salad, my daughter liked her little kids sliders even calling them "cute!" and saying "AWWW!" when they arrived. My husband loves their guacamole, too. So if you're in the mood for the predictable Chili's atmosphere and fare, then this location is a fine choice.

Went to have late lunch at 1pm. Two of us were seated immediately as there were empty seats all around. Shortly there after we ordered our salads. After new diners were seated all around us, after they all were served their HOT meals and bar drinks and after we had waited an HOUR for our COLD salads, we were finally served! We were told that our salad was made wrong and had to be remade. REALLY, does it take an HOUR to remake a COLD salad? We will not be back to this restaurant any time soon! I do not recommend eating here if you want to get served in a reasonable amount of time.

I had sworn never I come back here, but someone bought me a gift card. I have to say the service is 100 times better. Little mess ups on the order but the service so kind it washed it away.

Haven't been to a Chili's in a while. My friends and I always have a great time. Never been to this location, but I'd say hands down, best service for a Chili's in Tucson! The server was very friendly and attentive, especially since it was during the lunch time rush. We got our drinks right away and shortly thereafter got our food, probably 15-20 minutes in between. Not too bad! At Chili's the prices are always reasonable, especially for the amount of food you get. I ordered off the lunch menu...They got $6, $7, & $8 lunch combos that come with an entree and a soup or salad. I went with the Southwestern Mac N Cheese with the Spicy Southwest Chicken & Sausage Soup. Ya, I kept it with the SW theme, plus the waitress said it's a bit spicy...I like spicy! It went very well with my margarita! =) I was surprised that the mac n cheese was very tasty! Lots of chicken and very cheesy with a little southern spicy kick to it! Good enough that my kids would've loved it too! The soup was as good as the waitress said it would be...Chicken, sausage & white beans with some veggies in a flavorful garlic chicken broth. Topped with crispy tortilla strips! MMmm! All in all this was one of the better Chili's experiences I've had. Didn't have to wait long at all, and no need to flag down servers! Service was kind and quick! I like this location a lot.

The staff at this location are all very pleasant. Although this is a busy location, the staff are usually very quick and on point to mend items that are not up to par. The Platinum Presidente Margarita is the best!

Our family comes here a lot because it's dad's favorite restaurant in the Conti area. I like the friendly service here and the clean atmosphere but not a fan of the menu. They have a very limited low-cal menu, and the steak is always tough. I've ordered the steak several times and finally gave up when I realized that over-cooking is a policy and not just a fluke. But my husband and daughter, who don't worry so much about calories, can always find something they like; they especially love the chips and salsa. One thing I would mention is that our server was wearing so much perfume that I could actually taste it in my food. Servers shouldn't wear strong fragrances and I wonder why her manager didn't catch that.

This place sucks. The service is terrible and the food does not come out as advertised. I've been there enough times to have learned my lesson. the service is super slow and the food takes forever to come out. the only good thing about this chili's is the little pay points on each table so you can quickly get outta there!

Jennifer was a terrible sever. She came to our table maybe 3 times. Wasn't aware when we were out of water and it was obvious she didn't care about giving good service. When this was brought to her attention she became even more rude. We had 2 checks and on 1 we requested change. She brought the change back in all coins. I have never had bad service at this location. I was very disappointed.

The food was just fine, but the service was lacking. This location has been recently renovated and the staff are up-selling these new service kiosks that sit at your table and allow you to virtually scroll through the menu, play games and pay your bill. I thought it looked pretty cool at first. Turns out that kiosk thing was not so great. It didn't actually allow us to order anything but dessert (which we didn't get) and when our waiter saw us playing with it, he would go away thinking we weren't ready for service yet so it took a frustratingly long time (15-20 minutes) for someone to actually come to our table just to start our drink orders. It took so long to get a waiter to help us that we considered walking out if we had to wait much longer - we just wanted some dang food! The kiosk has a "bill pay" function which doesn't work. We asked the waiter about it and he said that our kiosk was on the wrong table and likely mixed up with a kiosk at another table so it's not going to accurately reflect our order or bill. Sorry, but what is even the point of that stupid thing if you can't let your patrons use it correctly? Until they update this service, just stay away from those kiosks and things should be OK. I'm also hoping that they speed up the service at this location.

Just left this location because we were served our meal on what appeared to be dirty plates. Waited 20 minutes for the meal to arrive. My wife's Short Rib Enchiladas entrée looked like it had been barfed onto the plate. The presentation was sloppy and the charger plate was filthy. My Dr. Pepper Back Back Ribs half rack with the skillet smoked potato wedges looked like it had been placed on a dirty plate, also. Both entrees looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. I found a manager but I did not get his name. He agreed with our server that this was far below Chili's standards and offered to re - make the entrees. We were disgusted and not willing to possibly wait another 20+ minutes for the newly prepared entrees to arrive. We ended up get simple burgers and fries from In 'n Out Burgers next door to the restaurant. It may be a long time before we attempt to eat at this or any other Chili's restaurant again. I did submit this to the Chili's Customer Service website. 21 March 2015 at approximately 7:05 PM was the time of visit.

Service was not up to par. A lot of talking to staff but not real attention to custometd, really a shame chili's USED to be great. Management needs more training along with staff bad customer service

Normally wouldn't write a review about a chain restaurant. Location is close to my house so I come here quite often. The food is average. I mean come on, it's Chilis. The reason for the one star today is solely for the service. The restaurant wasn't very busy and we were seated right away. Our server was standing at a table next to us talking with her friends. It took about five minutes to acknowledge us to take our drink order. At its time another table was seated across from us. After she took our meal order she came back to her friends table and continued her conversation. It took her almost 10 minutes to get that other tables drink order. We got our food and never was checked on again until she saw we were done. Disappointed as usually have good service. Thanks to Kenny for refilling our drinks.

Worst Service in Decades....Walked out. Thought about going here all day long for a quiet nice meal with a margarita. Went early for 5pm on a Monday yet. Fought the traffic. Got seated immediately as there weren't many people. Noted the loud music - the best part of it was the silence between songs. There was a waiter for about 15 tables and there was only one other table besides myself. I was starved and wanted to place my order for the drink as well as the entree. The waiter never acknowledged me, came by, etc. After 15 mins or so, I gave up, handled my menu to the hostess and told her why I was leaving. I went back to my hotel room and warmed up a previous Mediterranean dinner that I had had at a really good restaurant. Unfortunately, I have a gift card (about 3 years old now) and I will either have to give it away, throw it away, or maybe find a Chili's that knows how to treat customers, service, etc. Hopefully, that wouldn't be asking too much. On the additional tips for this business, the heading of GOOD FOR: and choices of Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, Late Night or Dessert, I couldn't find my choice of - Nothing.....

Very disappointed. Our friend who's eating with us had two glasses of beer both with lipstick around the entire brim. I'm guessing they didn't change the first glass. Two plates from our other friends came out cold. They forgot my soda and my kids drinks. When I asked for Rootbeer they failed to tell me that it was a bottle only instead of fountain so to my surprise I had to pay for a bottled drink and the extra soda.

Fantastic service! The food (triple dipper) was actually really good, hot, and fresh (especially considering other Chilis I've frequented). $3.75 for a 22oz XX Amber was a nice surprise as well!

2 stars for the waiter, he was very attentive to us, which was excellent, and that is the only reason for 2 stars, the food we ordered, was basically inedible, my husband ordered the salmon and chicken combo, and added on a side of seared shrimp, the shrimp was raw, you could still see through it, which was sitting on top of the chicken, making that contaminated as well, his salmon was overcooked and dried out but he ate that anyway, my son ordered a bacon cheeseburger, that was overcooked and dry, with French fries that were cold. I ordered the southwest chicken bowl, the avacodo was brown, lettuce was warm and wilted, rice was cold, and it was overly spiced with cumin making it entirely to spicy to eat, and I eat ghost peppers alone, so if I can't eat it, it's bad. I ordered a Daiquiri andnit was served in a water glass? Who does that? The manager offered to comp my husband's entire meal, and only took 1/3 of it off, at the point of paying we were just over it and paid and left. Like I said hadn't not been for our waiter, I would have game the minimal 1 required star.

This is where my family and I stop when we're hungry and want something affordable with okay food. My favorite food is their chips and salsa. Which will tell you all you need to know. I've never had a bad experience, servers are always helpful and have a smile on their face...

Chili's has to be one of my least favorite family chain restaurants out there. The food is never really spectacular and the service always tends to be hit or miss. Personally, if I frequent any chain restaurant at all it is becuase of the consistency and that is one thing Chili's has never had- in my experience. This visit I was very impressed with the Skinny margarita. It was made with all natural, sugar-free ingredients and the Patron was delicious. It was very drinkable and at only 110 calories, I felt great about drinking it too! Im not one who usually cares about caloric intake from alcoholic drinks, but this made me think twice about it! If I can avoid coming here, I absolutely do. The only times you will ever see me here is if I am meeting people and I had no say in the location. Eat here if you must, but life is too short to be wasting a meal at a place like this.

You can't go wrong with Chilis. They did remodel this location, i think it's nice. Ty was our server, very nice. I got the spicy shrimp tacos, they were good but I ended up not liking the corn tortillas. Shoulda gone with flour. Still good though

As we sat down next to the kitchen I heard someone yell "why you sticking me with all the two tops tonight" and the server walked right over basically in mid-yell to great us. I am a server and understand the kitchen talk but yeah... not a great first impression... slow to get food, and never saw him again... luckily the manager came over by the time we needed a box.

It's been awhile since I've been to a chain restaurant and I really don't expect much, but I was really surprised with the service. Good job! The food is as good as it gets here but I wasn't disappointed one bit. Beer was up to temp so all is well;) Cheers!

Should have looked at the yelp reviews, but it is Chili's one expects a normal Chili's experience. Customer service was poor, upon arrival at 4 pm the restaurant was near empty. Server greeted us and said there were 2 people covering us, never saw the second, drinks were not refilled without asking (several times), but there was a table 3 behind us where a group of about 4-5 employees were mingling (while one folded silverware into napkins). Food quality was below average, will not return to this one, EVER.

If I had to like a chain it would be this one. They have great chips and salsa and a decent menu of food. Although I pride myself on not eating at chains as often as I can avoid, I would come here or Olive Garden first. I hear the steaks are pretty decent and they have a really vast margarita menu that I dive right into. TEQUILA!

Hubby and I went here the other night and we were completely inundated by salt on our chips and salsa. The margaritas were okay as always. The Reese's lava cake thing was delicious. Our waitress was very funny and nice. However, only 3 stars because of the excessive salt and they have these new kiosks that take up a lot of room on a two person table. It is nice so you can order drinks and dessert without waiting for your waitress which is convenient if you remember, but not when it is taking up precious table space.

My wife and I very rarely go out to eat, but we decided to celebrate a late mothers day, we would go out and get some "cheap drinks and appetizers" after having a steak dinner at home. Unfortunately we made the mistake of going here instead of one of the finer establishments in the area. In the end we ordered 2 appetizers and 3 drinks. First to come out were our appetizers, we ordered the Texas cheese fries and the southwestern egg rolls. The egg rolls were meh. They were good, but nothing I would buy again, they tended to be a little greasy. the cheese fries were probably the best thing we had from here, but its kinda hard to mess those up! then... came the drinks. the first to come out was the Tropical Sunrise Margarita for my wife, and if all the drinks were mixed this perfectly, we would not have had any problem. it was sweet but not too sweet, presented well, and left us wanting more. alas, the next drinks we got did not meet this par. i ordered a long island iced tea, and I have to say that is was probably the worst I ever had. it was extremely strong, and it was a labor even just to sip it down, and I like my drinks strong! We then thought we would have better luck with another margarita, so we ordered the Sparkling Pomegranate Margarita, but again when it was received, it was so strong we could not even taste any of the pomegranate. we grudgingly choked it down. As for the service, I had worse service, but I've also definitely had much better service. The servers asked if everything was okay about 3 different occasions, but even a refill of water took upwards of 5-10 minutes to be received. Then the kicker... the bill. when we received it I was shocked to see we we charged nearly 9 dollars per drink! our " cheap night of drinks and appetizers" cost us over 50 dollars! for that we could have had a nice meal nearly anywhere else! With the restaurant market in northwest Tucson as crowded as it is, this is one place that will not be getting a 2nd chance.

Service was extremely slow, they tried to soothe us over with free queso dip but that itself took forever. We were in a large party so I understand things taking longer but the whole dinner took about 3 hours which is unacceptable. The food was good though, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one.

  • Mike A.

You know when you take your family to eat dinner and you don't do it that often, there is an expectation of service and food quality that must be there when spending upwards of 50.00 to eat out. This Chili's food was just gawd aweful. Our sample platter chicken was stone cold... yes I mean stone cold. I ordered the light calorie Chicken Salad and I was just sorely disappointed in it. The salad had little to NO corn, beans and the chicken was (again) stone cold and even though it was from the lighter side menu, the thing was listless and almost totally flavorless. Chili's has really taken a turn downward and it shows. I can't recommend them (this or any other Chili's) anymore and if you are reading this and are looking for good local food the Boston's directly across the road is 10 times better service and food quality. We've been there twice and no comparison to Chili's!! And no, I DO NOT work for Boston's just trying to steer people to a place where you get value for your hard earned dollar.

I've tried going to this location a few times and have had poor experiences every time. The service is terrible, orders are never right... In general, it seems like everyone working here would couldn't care less about their job. I will not be returning.

Pleasantly surprised with Chili's as I am a food snob and don't frequent chains too often. They custom made my margaritas with no sweet and sour (at no upcharge). Also when they realized they had overcooked my steak they quickly offered to recook it to perfection and brought me a whole new plate. The manager seems to really care.

I tend to avoid chains after living in a city for awhile but sometimes, when I'm feeling too tired to cook and to lazy to drive to one of my favorite local restaurants (I live a good distance away from all of them). I go to Chili's. The one thing that I can say about them is that they are consistent (and having worked for a chain I can tell you all about the training that gets them there). It might not be the best but at least the food is decent, usually well prepared and the service is usually pretty good. One thing I can say that I love...the top shelf margaritas. They are consistently tasty.

Service is the worst ever. Waiters pretend they don't hear you . When you change something they get upset ?! What kind of service is this? Thought we will give it another try; we went, left after 10 mins because we had to stand waitin for someone I seat us and they pretended they don't see us standing there , and then we helped ourselves to a table and the waitress came rudely saying we should not sit by ourselves. that's it chilis never coming again although Chilis chain is / sorry was my favorite restaurant .
