Not the best location they have a pick up area if you order your food but you still have to wait in line to pay for your food and of course my food was cold when i order a hot sandwich if you like baggins i would go to another location for better food quality.

There is not much on this side of town in terms of great restaurants...however, Baggins is a solid lunch option. I am a fan of the Albuquerque Turkey..it is smothered in a rich BBQ sauce and the peppers add nice heat and texture. I also enjoy the almost ruben with yummy pastrami and crisp cole slaw. It comes with a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. You place your order and the counter and they will bring it to your table. It gets kind of packed at lunch, but at lunch they offer to pick up your drink and get you a refill and walk around with baskets of fresh cookies if you dare to indulge. If you want a refill and they don't ask, you have to go to the counter as it is not serve yourself. Easy to order online and they send you coupons. They also have a text club.

Visited this location for the second time in two weeks. Both lunch time arrivals were met with "We don't have lettuce". I would suggest, specifically for the Valencia location, to remove salads from your menu if you don't plan to have enough lettuce to make them. Save yourself the trouble and visit another Baggin's.

This place is great!! Sure, there is a Schlotzksky's closer to my training site, on the same side of the street. But I will risk crossing the 4 lanes of traffic on Valencia (no cross walk) during the lunch rush just to get a salad or sandwich here. They have a great selection of hot and cold specialty sandwiches and salads. Their breads are fresh and the deserts are yummy! Most meals come with a chocolate chip cookie but it doesn't hurt to add a brownie, a piece of carrot or rum cake for later. Their spiced tea is heavily spiced but perfectly sweet and very tasty, their sun tea is where it's at. They also feature Poore Brothers chips (AZ made and they have the BEST Salt and Vinegar chips out there). I love their half sandwich, salad or chips and drink combo. They also make a mean egg salad sandwich. (I order it at least once at any sandwich place that has it on their menu.) During the busy lunch hour the line is backed up all the way the the front door but they will have a person ahead of the registers (3) taking your order on their bag ordering system, which they hand back to you....step ahead to place/receive your drink order...then wait for the next register to open up and hand them your bag. Find a seat or a spot to stand and wait for them to call out your name. Everything is packed ready to carry out. The cold sandwiches and salads come out much quicker than the hot sandwiches (I have noticed an average of 5-7 min difference in folks that ordered before me). If your in a hurry, call in your order before hand and come to pick it up, but they are used to a lunch rush and handle the crowd quite well and I have usually had time to spare.

The worst part about working by the airport is the lack of quick and healthy lunch options. On days that I don't bring my lunch, I'm essentially stuck going to somewhere with a drive-thru. Thankfully, I've discovered Baggin's. Ironically, I'm not too big of a fan of the sandwiches here. I tried the Sundown Baggin's once (turkey, mayo, stuffing, and cranberries) and found it to be very bland. But, I recently discovered their Almond Albacore Tuna Salad, and I love it! It has a nice mix of greens, and the honey mustard dressing is fantastic! It's not overly sweet, and while I don't usually like grain mustard, this dressing may make me change my mind. Plus, it comes with a delicious chocolate chip cookie. I always tell myself I'm going to be healthy and not eat it, but I usually end up caving in for that soft, chewy cookie. I also like that Baggin's offers delivery and online ordering. My office has ordered delivery several times from Baggin's, and they're usually pretty timely. The two factors that really make Baggin's a 4-star place for me are the value and service. I can get a filling salad and cookie for about $7, and delivery is free. Anytime that I've actually gone to the restaurant, the staff have always been super nice and friendly. If you work in the area, it's definitely worth adding Baggin's to your lunch rotation.

Today I had the gourmet grilled cheese and tomato soup, but everything I have ever order had been wonderful. They have a wide variety of options and everything comes with a chocolate chip cookie!

Ok, I gave this place another chance. This time was a lot better. The salad had a few more toppings. I ordered the same cheese steak sub, and it was delicious! I tried the potato salad this time, not a big fan. It had a bunch of olives on top, I cannot stand olives. I don't think I have ever had potato salad with olives in it before. It also had way too much mustard in it. So, not a fan of the potato salad, but everything else was good.

I've been coming here for years and the quality of their food is becoming increasingly worse. But this review is talk about their customer service, or lack there of. You are guaranteed to get an attitude from at least 1 person every visit. You can most of the employees hate working there. Also I find it very inappropriate for the manager to reprimand employees right in front of customers on many different occasions. This place needs a huge lesson on customer service.

Don't get me wrong, the food is probably a 3-4, but the service is so bad that it makes the food taste bad too. This is my third time at this location within the last year and I can state with heaps of certainty that the third time is not a charm... Or maybe I just have bad sandwich karma. The first time they finally brought my sandwich out 25 minutes after I ordered. The second time my order was never made and after my coworkers ate and we waited 10 more minutes, I got my money back and the manager gave me a card for a free dessert. So she at least tried to make it right, although I didn't get to eat anything except the cookies out of my coworker's orders. So today, I tried to order a grilled cheese sandwich, figuring it would be quick, right? Its bread and cheese, most school age children can make this type if sandwich by themselves. But the cashier girl said it would take 15 minutes. I said ok but then did the math in my head and figured that meant 45minutes in the Baggins world. I told the girl that I changed my mind and to take my coworkers order first. She took his order, harassing him to pick the toppings he specially wanted, which his sandwich didn't end up with when he got it. I walked back up to the counter and she gave me attitude and asked if I wanted water too. She walked away to take the order to the grill area, when she came back I asked if she had canceled the grill cheese and she said she just put it in. At that point, after giving me some more attitude, I commented on the attitude and the manager lady overheard me. She came over and asked to assist me, she took my order and placed it on top of the pile. Amazingly enough I got my sandwich in record time, faster than a Jimmy John's delivery. However, my coworker never got his. So after I was done eating he went to just get his money back. The manager found his sandwich and said they were waiting on my order, which made no sense as they bring orders out when ready without regard to the people you ordered with, AND I already had mine. So when all was said and done, he got his sandwich, his money back, and a card for free lunch for two. I congratulate the manager for trying to fix it, but I really have no desire to go there again. And my friend now blames me for passing him my bad sandwich karma.

Tried place for the first time. Ordered a basic sandwich and had a toothpick in the middle. Told one of the workers and she did not seem concerned. Won't hurry back to come here again.

I wouldn't count on their online ordering system. I thought it would be faster that way but ended up sitting there for 15 minutes waiting on them to figure out that my order hadn't been made. The manager gave me a free lunch card which I was thankful for but 3 stars simply for the lunchtime inconvenience. I probably won't be coming back to this location during lunch.

wether I order in person or online they can't seem to get orders correct I always end up with someone else's food, I give up with this location.

I was holding out hope that this place would be as good as the lines would make it appear. In the end, the sandwich really was not worth the wait. The meat content was severely lacking on their Cowboy sandwich, so I ended up with a lunch of bread and mayo, interspersed with 2 shriveled pieces of bacon and a hint of chicken. Do yourself a favor and walk next door to CN Bistro - it's a much better value for your money if you're in the area.

Quality is getting poor. Mistakes on orders, missing extra ingredients that they charged me for but left off. Last few times have been a terrible disappointing.

Normally good food and service but today was a miss. One of the sandwiches on a call in order was not ready till 15 minutes after arriving. They were also running out of sandwich ingredients for other peoples order's.

I've driven by this place tons of times and finally went for lunch the other day and let me just say, wow! A coworker recommended the "unforgettable" and let me say, it lived up to its name! It was delicious! I got the meal with chips, cookie and a drink and it was so good! Next time I will get the whole sandwich because half a sandwich left me wanting more!! Service was quick but we did call in our order which is smart since they were quite busy when we went at noon. I will be going back asap!

Lots of good choices here for a simple lunch. Had the "Unforgetable" very tasty. Turkey and sprouts on a dark wheat bread plus avacado. Good mix and who can complain when every bag has a cookie inside. It's like a surprise from mom at lunch time. I didn't get it today but the chicken borrow pasta is also worth trying.

Great food? Had no idea there was a Baggins in this area until ousted help to find somewhere to eat near airport. My family is a big fan of Baggins so it was just perfect returning from our trip to stop by here to have Tucson local food. Very friendly service and homely feel.

Honestly, I didn't expect this location to be that great due it being surrounded by office buildings. It's location is some what hidden from the rest of the eating locations. However, the location is probably the nicest of all the Baggins I have been to. It is large and the decor is awesome. The food is always great. The service was average. Friendly, but had to be reminded of things missed. I am pretty spoiled by the other locations I usually go to. Overall, not that bad.

Had it twice in one week, since it's close to the airport, where I was coming from and headed to, and it's not a chain. The sandwiches are good with generous portions of toppings, including sprouts, which is a plus in my book. Also, the chocolate chip cookie is just enough to sweeten the end of the meal without making you feel too guilty. The specialty tea is almost as tasty as sweet tea. You order at the counter and they bring you out the sandwich when it's done. One con for me was that they didn't have half portions, so I couldn't try multiple things; the deli salads looked good, but when traveling and eating by myself, I don't have anywhere to take the extra food.

As good as it gets for a sandwich. I like the almost reuben.. will get it everytime. Great job. and thanks for the cookie! Also, try the side of pasta salad. Whats the worst that could happen?

My entire office got food poisoning from this place! Two had chicken with their salads, another had a turkey sandwich. Cookies were ok. After a friend's insistence, we tried the location on Broadway. He bragged the whole way about how tasty the French dip sandwiches were. When he got it, the sauce container was only 20% full and he suffered a dry sandwich. I ordered a Baggin's Cheesesteak. When I was asked if I wanted "the sauce" with it, I figured it was some house blend. Nope. It was marinara. WTF?! If I wanted a meatball sub I'd have gone to Subway. Never heard of that trend. I make it a point NEVER to send food back, but this time I had to return it for a fresh sandwich. If marinara were actually popular and tasty on a cheesesteak, they would be made like that everywhere. Instead, a few places apparently put that junk on their sandwiches to claim it's "gourmet" or "hip." No, it just tastes like crap. Also a minor thing, but their Pepsi fountain drinks didn't offer Mountain Dew. Since I hate Pepsi, at least that would have been something I could use to aid washing down the awful sandwich. Cookies were good.

This is one of my go-to sandwich shops when I'm back in Tucson. Every time I go I get the spice tea and the Albuquerque turkey sandwich. So spicy and delicious. Plus there is always a chewy chocolate chip cookie at the bottom of your brown paper bag - such a treat.

I love Baggins and I always get the same thing ------ The Unforgettable Baggins without avocado. The food was just as good here as in any other location. My only complaint was that it is super crowded. Really, really crowded. It is close to the airport and lots of businesses, so this is easily explained. I was there at the lunch hour and we took a while to place our order. Once we received our food, I felt rushed because there were soooo many more people coming in. At least I assume their business is doing well. Still, I think I'd rather go to another location.

Stopped here for a quick bite before work. Lots of choices to try out, but I settled on the Baggins Sundown which is turkey, spiced stuffing, cranberry sauce. Service was fast and the sandwich was very good. Sweet and salty mix was fantastic, and then a chocolate cookie to top it off. A little more turkey and little less lettuce would've made it much better. Also, I thought they said they'd toast the bread but I guess not. It was a little soft for my taste.

  • Jill M.

Employees on Sat afternoon acted like they didn't want to be there and like we were bothering them. Plus, they were out of tuna, which affects several items on menu, but no note or sign anywhere. Had to leave line to go back and view menu to pick something else. Calif BLT on marble rye is good. Get it without cream cheese...already slimy enough. Good amount of bacon, but it's pretty salty. Free cookie isn't worth the calories. $21 for two sandwiches, two drinks, no chips. Booo.

This review is based purely on service. This is a busy location with a lot of Raytheon, Air Force, and local business traffic. I've been to this location many times and the employees never seem to have an interest in a pace other than glacial. Even at off hours, there is always a wait that seems disproportionate to the number of people waiting, and employees milling around while a select few are carrying the workload. Many of them that I've encountered seem put out that you're there and have the audacity to pay them for their food and service. The food is great, but not worth the hassle.

Extremely disappointed with their online ordering/delivery. My online lunch order arrived 1hr & 25 min. later... Bag was wet/torn, sandwich was soggy and the chicken pasta was room temperature. My sandwich did not have the extras I paid to have. The sandwich ended up in the trash and I definitely did not trust eating the chicken pasta being that it arrived in a vehicle with a driver that shows signs that he had been driving around without ac in his vehicle. I immediately reached out to Baggin's to inform them of the issues and I was told to fill out the online "contact us" page of their website... I have not received a response.

I had the chicken tortilla soup which wasn't to great pretty bland with mostly white beans and corn it really lacked chicken. I also had a half of an unbelievable Baggins which was really great. So for $9.67 I got a half sandwich, soup and a drink (mostly ice unfortunately) Not completely disappointed because the sandwich was great but the nice long wait and vegetable tortilla soup I could have done without. On the bright side they throw in a free cookie, hard to go wrong with free or cookies.

Needed a lunch to take on a picnic. We had delicious salads. The food was so good! We hit the lunch rush, so the food wasn't super fast, but it was worth the wait. There were tables to sit at while we waited.

This place is a disaster. I've been here twice in the past month and their service is less than desired, especially during the lunch hours. It was a group of three. Two of us received our orders in a reasonable time, but my husband didn't get his sandwich. They said when he ordered it, it would take 15 minutes. At 20 minutes, the sandwich hadn't made an appearance, so he went and checked on it. They said they would bring it right out to him. 15 minutes later, the sandwich was still missing. My starving husband went to check on the sandwich again and it was sitting on the counter. His hot sandwich was a cold sandwich. All the manager said was, "Sorry." They didn't offer to remake it, reheat it, or even give him an extra cookie. The second time... Maybe the first time was a fluke. Nope, I was wrong. One friend didn't get the right sandwich and our other friend waited 30 minutes for his salad. Come on, a salad? They forgot about it! Ok, granted, this was during lunch, but it wasn't that busy. There were two people in line when they ordered. And to top it all off, their cookies weren't cooked all the way through! I guess if you like cookie dough, you're golden, but I'm not a fan. It's a pretty small sample size, but for a business to mess up on two separate occasions and with multiple people's orders, I'm not going back. Bilbo Baggins? I don't think so more like Boohoo Baggins!

I'm really not a fan of cold cut sandwiches...reminds me of the days of high school tennis when some of my teammates' parents would bring the 3 foot subs from Subway (ew) for lunch...and by the time I got to it after my matches, the sandwich was all soggy and just plain gross. Thank you, Baggins, for saving me the trauma of this again (#firstworldproblem) and instead having some hot sandwich options!! The admin assistant at my work placed an order for delivery and I spotted on the menu my go-to at these type of restaurants: some sort of Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Fast delivery and it came with a cookie! Mine had Italian sauce on it and I really did enjoy the sandwich. If we order again, I would definitely get the same thing!

Hey...better than I expected, given the boring office park location. Fun crew inside and quick service. Tons of different offerings on the menu. I chose the Grinder. Not bad...could have had more meat on it, but great flavor. Valencia

The sandwiches tasted wonderful, all ingredients were fresh and the cookies were delightful as well. There was a small misunderstanding regarding my order but the manager was really fast and efficient in solving the problem. They get extremely packed so it's understandable. Great food and I really appreciated the eagerness to help and fairly sort things out.
