Creative Cappuccino came to my work place today and it was so nice having specialty made drinks made to order right in our break room! The drinks were great! Having this company come to a brunch or a party at home would be really nice!

Reviews:
I have to say that I wold have given this place a 2 star rating before, but now I have to change that. About two weeks ago my girlfriend & I went through the drive through of Arby's to get 2 roast beef sandwiches & a large fries.. The PA system must have been screwy that day or the person inside had his volume turned way down (for whatever reason they do that!). So there we are yelling at the guy, almost screaming at the top of our lungs, the both of us. I am instantly annoyed by this because I cared not to scream since I had been sick from my throat that day. This only made it worse. Then we get to the window, pay and drive a few feet only to find that we were missing a whole roast beef sandwich. I backed up, and tried to get the employees attention, but the place looked deserted. We drive around, get off, and walk into the restaurant. Turns out we weren't even charged for the second one. I also notice that the fries were stone cold. The person who helped us at the drive through take the fries, dumps them, and gets more out of the exact same bin of cold fries from before. My girlfriend by this time is irate. She asks for a fresh batch of fries so that they won't be the same temperature as the previous ones. We get new ones & we leave. We don't go there for 2 weeks. This time we walk in and pay for our stuff and eat there for a change. The service was way better, food temperature, 100 times better, and there is noting missing from our order. The guy who helped us the previous time even remembered us and apologized for the last time we were there. He offered to give us a shake or something else from the dessert menu, but we were so satisfied we said that wouldn't be necessary and we were fine. This Arby's is A-Okay in my book. We forgot to suggest that they replace the PA system or adjust the volume for their end. Next time. As usual the Roast Beef Sandwiches were top notch.

Doc’s Artisan Ice Creams

Reviews:
We stopped by tonight and met Doc and his father. Awesome people and awesome gelato/fruit pops. The sea salt Carmel is the best I've had, anywhere!
Wonderfully flavored ice cream! This is not a real retail location but more of a manufacturing location where he sells some ice cReam and pops to the public. Doc is such a nice man, and the sea salt caramel pop is out of this world! Sure it is going to cost more than the bargain basement stuff you could get at the grocery store but that stuff is full of chemicals and Docs tastes the way ice cream should taste. Besides you shouldn't be eating this stuff all the time, so when you do have it, do it right!
Doc's caught our eye at the downtown Phoenix Public Market. Oh yummy luscious is his Piña Colada sorbet ( so smooth) and pineapple green tea gelato (super refreshing)! But what made my knees hit the ground, was the oh so decadent Tequila Sunrise :) Lots and lots of creative flavors and quality ingredients and not to mention the nicest bunch of folks too!! Unfortunately we are not close to him in Tempe...so hoping he is at the market when go there!

Decio Pasta

Reviews:
Found this pasta on sale at the Fountain Hills Farmers Market (Thursdays, October- April). Wow! Hands down best pasta I've ever tasted, literally a meal unto itself. We boiled some water, 3 minutes later we drained and ate it plain. Really *really* good. (They're not kidding about cooking time so don't over cook!) A true local, natural product. Costs a lot more that tasteless grocery store pasta, but can't compare them as this is really a completely different product. Well worth it.
Found this gem at roadrunner park farmers market, I'm hooked!! I stay away from pastas because I only love it when slathered with heavy pasta sauce but I indulged in the mushroom linguini and WOW that was the best pasta dish I have made at home! Olive oil and pasta and it's bursting with flavor, so simple and so tasty. I bought the habanero flavor as well and I can't wait to try that one next!! I don't think I'll ever buy any other pasta.
I finished a delicious lunch at India Garden and was browsing their charming store searching for a souvenir when a saw Decio Pasta packages and was intrigued. Handmade, vegetable purees, and clearly a local favorite. I got a package of the Garlic & Chive Fettuccine as a gift for myself and was on my way. After a full day of traveling back to the east coast, it was midnight and I couldn't wait another day to try the pasta. It EXCEEDED expectations- amazing flavor, texture, and you can tell in one bite the high quality of this pasta- delicious! Obviously pricier than a box you can grab at the grocery store, but why waste the calories? I have to order online to get my fix- but it is well worth the time and money. Lucky find!

Devil Apple Hookah Lounge

Reviews:
I am a huge hookah smoker I usually spend most nights smoking hookah out of one of my own at home while watching Netflix. Though every now and then I like to go out and smoke but I have been in search for a super chill, not too loud, reasonably priced hookah lounge. Well let me tell you DEVILS HOOKAH is the place!!! I absolutely LOVE it it here, you know when you go somewhere and it is just like, "yeah, this feels right, I like this"... So.... The HOOKAHS are 100% by far the LEAST EXPENSIVE I have ever found, they are MADE to PERFECTION and charcoal service is periodic!!! Not only is the hookah great but the MUSIC is great, covers all genres and a GREAT NON REPETITIVE MIX!! *But wait, there's more.. They have FRESH PRESSED JUICES, that's right FRESH PRESSED which is a personal favorite of mine and it comes in the cleverest cup... So to sum everything up..... MUST TRY!!! It's is small but a gem ... Did I mention the owner is amazing, refreshingly professional with great customer service!
PERFECT NIGHT STARTER OR CLOSER The business does absolutely everything right, from the fun ever-changing upbeat music, absolutely great prices to the perfectly attentive service. The clientele can be a bit mixed, which makes it interesting. THE AMBIANCE Blacklights, projectors over the DJs, music that'll let you carry a relatively normal conversation, and enough hookahs to go around. Very clean venue, short lines at restrooms, and really fun music that can go from old-school hip hop to the latest electronica/world jam. Switching back and forth from a relaxing state to a euphoric party-mode, just like a hookah bar should. THE FOOD Very decent, so are the drinks. THE PRICE Extremely moderate, starting at around 9$ a hookah, there's no reason not to check at least one out, heck, at that price, go for a couple. I recommend the gummy bears flavor, and grape without mint. THE SERVICE Attentive, quick, and extremely friendly. They will make you feel first-class every time. THE FIFTH STAR I will give them the benefit of the doubt because it's a fairly new venue, and although they've wowed me for a few weeks in a row, I only wish they would turn the music a bit louder, kept menus available at all times, and added more back-rests. Other than that, can't be missed.
The hookah here is very good and lasts about an hour. Which is pretty good compared to other ones in its area. The price is a lot different than I have ever seen. It is around $9 a hookah for one person and an additional $3 for each person smoking off that hookah. I want to say the price for a hookah refill is $5 but don't quote me. The time I went had a few DJs playing live music which I enjoyed. The place doesn't get packed early, its more of a place to come after hours.

It was jam packed at noon. Lots of business pants in here! People clearly like this place. I ordered a gyro combo. The salad was exceptional and gyro was delicious. Best tzatziki I've ever had. Dill!!! Seating was limited and it took about ten or twelve min to get food during the rush. Five stars after a return visit for consistency points.
Much better with the new owners! Stop going when it was Gyro Express. The steak is tender, favorful. moist! Fresh salads! Hopefully they will maintain a godd consistantcy!!!
So I just had the best experience from an amazing restaurant. Great customer service too because I wasn't sure how the lamb would taste and the awesome cooks gave me a little box to try. I really believe this is the best chicken souvlaki I have ever had and I will come back very soon!!!

Waiting for some pizzas now and the guy here is awesome! He's busy and the only one working....but still friendly and attentive to anyone walking in.
Take and Bake! Papa Murphy's is like the Subway of pizza, with the speed and efficiency of Jimmy John's. You order your pizza, and in a wink of an eye it's made right in front of you. Baking instructions are easy, and the pizza tastes really good for something that is baked in a regular oven. Someday when we have a grill I'd like to grill some pizza and see how it tastes! They seem to always offer coupons in the mail, and they also have family deals, as well as daily deals. Service has also been cheerful and friendly.
First time here for pizza and salad The only thing I knew before walking in was I know it's take home pizza... The employees were very friendly and helpful, they executed their jobs perfectly It's a good thing I went on a Tuesday because they have a $10 Large pizza deal which was perfect for me I got a Large pizza split in half Half was just cheese and sauce (boring) The other half was papa's favorite Papa's favorite consists of sauce, cheese, pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and black olives... Sooooo good! I also got a regular garden salad with ranch and the whole thing was about $14 The guy making my pizza (Brandon) was very nice and filled me in on the heating instructions as well as tips for my next visit The pizza is super good and the salad is good as well :) Ps- next time I want to try the cookie dough and/or the dessert pizzas

Found our new favorite restaurant. When was the last time that the owners come out, visit and give a warm thank you? This place does! Protein Bowl n Red Chicken Wrap, yum! Looking forward to our next date night here. :-)
What a gem! We happened across Nush and the patio looked so invited, we wandered up to check it out and decided to stay for lunch. So glad we did! The atmosphere is really cute, and our server was great, but the absolute star was the food. Wow!! I'm an adamant meat eater (and they do have meat dishes that looked great), but ended up eating vegan and really enjoyed my meal. We had the green beans which were delicious with a citrus and roasted garlic topping, and the fries, which seemed roasted and had a great texture. Then had the roasted veggie salad which was huge and also had that delicious, mild roasted garlic on it. Definitely will be a must visit again when I'm in town!
Loved it. Five stars except for the menu which was Spartan with information. Will go back when in AZ

Rita’s Italian Ice

Safeway Shopping Center,7660 S. McClintock Drive
Tempe, 85284
Reviews:
Sorry Rita but I've been spoiled by real frozen custard. Even the burger chain with the frozen delicacies is a few notches up the ladder but still doesn't rank with my favorite local frozen custard. But to hear your staff has no clue what makes a frozen custard really isn't a big surprise once you understand it all comes from premade mixes. Gotta say your location is a good one though. At the edge of a strip mall, visible from the road. Seems like a great way to lure 'em in. And the table and benches outside are a nice touch. I didn't have the Gelati but it did remind me of something we used to get years ago. Maybe DQ had something like it made with slush and ice cream. Can't exactly recall, but it brought back yummy memories from 20+ years ago. May have to try that here.
Until last week I had no idea what a Gelati was. I saw it mentioned in a few Yelp reviews, understood it to be a hybrid Italian ice meets frozen custard and was sold on the idea. Then I noticed that I work just a couple of miles from here and I knew a Gelati was in my imminent future. Well it happened, a mere two days after hearing about the mythological creature known as a Gelati I found myself driving over to Rita's and ordering one. It was magnificent, but I'm getting ahead of myself and skipping over the fabulous favor offerings that you can combine in your Gelati... First off you pick the type of frozen custard you want. I saw vanilla and chocolate and I think there were other flavors too, probably lowfat ones...? Plain old vanilla is my game. (I like a simple and classic base flavor if I'm about to 'get funky' with the rest of my frozen treat, you know what I mean?) Next you pick either one or two Italian Ice flavors to 'sandwich' the serving of frozen custard in the middle. The Italian Ice favors varied from strawberry, mango, pineapple, cotton candy, and I think I even saw a marshmallow one too. These Italian Ices are indeed as fresh and tasty as they sound. I know this because I tried a couple of them...delicious! I ended up choosing strawberry and pineapple as my Italian Ice combination. There were real pieces of strawberry blended into the Italian Ice, it was stupendous! The frozen custard tasted like someone had taken the creamy custard base of a creme brulee and churned it into frozen silken cream... The silky, velvety creaminess of the frozen custard blended with the tangy, fruity zing of the Italian Ice was a magical combination was a thing of beauty. PS: I think they mix up the Italian Ice offerings a bit, so the flavors you may see when you go will probably be different from the ones I saw. And you WILL go, trust me... ;)
We all love Rita's! Been eating the ices and custard for 15 years. My fave is the gelati.
