Good tasty burgers and fries at a very good price. The decor of the place is awesome and there is plenty of eye candy (decor) to keep you interested. The place has some old movie props since Superior has been in a few well known Hollywood movies. The owner and the rest of the staff are all very cool people and very friendly. This is one of our favorite stops when we are on motorcycle rides. If you are heading to or driving through Superior, stop by and grab some good food at Porter's. P.S. They have PBR on tap! :)

Great little cafe! The food was very good, and it is a very relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely stop in again when passing through Superior or visiting Boyce Thompson Arboretum.

After a first visit yesterday with a friend, I became a fan. Charming atmosphere with a large patio (we sat inside as it was cool yesterday) My friend had the meatball soup which was spiced perfectly and the homemade fries, cooked to perfection. I had the club sandwich (because I longed for frilly picks) it was substantial and delicious. They have beer on tap and a friendly, attentive staff. I wanted to have room for the chocolate or lemon cake but was too full from the generous portions. This will be on one of my top places to go - even if it is an hour away.

We ate here a few times while staying in the area. Good basic food but the atmosphere detracted from the experience. Remember this is a bar and after patrons indulge in the "bucket of beer" option the language gets pretty offensive and loud. On our most recent visit we could not eat fast enough to get away from the offensive language. As a result we will not be going back not recommending this place to others.

Had a great lunch that included an excellent burger (not easy to find) with generous sides and a drink for under $10. Everything made fresh. The owner (Charlie) was very friendly and clearly enjoyed his business and interacting with customers. I wish them continued success. The bar/restaurant has plenty of interesting memorabilia too.

We moved down to Arizona late last year and are living in Tempe. We took a motorcycle ride over to Superior to see the beautiful scenery and to check out the town because it has so many connections to some of the movies we love. Once in town we stumbled across this little cafe in the historic downtown Superior, which also happens to be decorated with some of these old movie props. They carried our favorite beer on tap, so we stopped in to have a drink. Since then we have gone out of our way several times on weekends or even weekday evenings to take the hour ride to Superior for one of Porter's amazing burgers or just to drink a beer and talk to the extremely friendly staff. We immediately felt at home there and only wish it was closer to us so we could go more often. Any time of day, it's a great place to hang out and enjoy the sunny patio or just belly-up to the bar for good conversation. We have never been disappointed!!
