We loved this hidden gem in Sedona and Grace is a wonderful host. She gave us tons of advice when we first arrived, recommended the best restaurants, gave us pamphlets of information and fed us very well! She even gave us snacks throughout the day for our long hikes, and day tours. The B&B is located about 15 mins south of the Uptown Sedona but we didn't mind at all. It really felt like we were in a secluded area. I would stay here again if I came to Sedona. We stayed in the winter season and got a lower rate that what is shown online. Make sure to ask on the phone when you call to reserve. She also has a senior discount if you qualify.

This review is a little overdue. Although my girlfriend (now fiancee, after I proposed to her during this trip to Arizona) and I stayed here back in February, the memories we made during our stay at Grace's Secret Garden and the beautiful town of Sedona will last a lifetime! Grace's establishment is a nice, clean, tranquil getaway nestled in the red rocks of majestic Sedona, Arizona. She is a warm hostess who treated us like family. From the moment she greeted us at her front door, she was informative, polite, and had interesting stories to share with us about her life and her gentle giant bull mastiff, Dixie. Her delicious homemade breakfasts kept us full until dinner time, and she always made sure we had snacks to take with us during our adventures. We hope to come back again someday and create new memories at Grace's Secret Garden. Thanks again, Grace (and Dixie!) for your above-and-beyond hospitality! Sincerely, Jonathan and Cassondra Los Angeles, CA

Away from most of the traffic and noise, sumptuous breakfast and treats, great views and garden, charming and gracious hostess. Couldn't ask for more. Will go back when we can. Thanks, Gracie. Stan the Man, San Jose, CA

This was my first time at a B&B and it was perfect. From the moment we made our reservations we felt welcome. Grace made sure to ask if we had food allergies and if it was a special occasion. When we got there things only got better. Rooms were amazing! Breakfast is the absolute best. Grace's husband Dan is a great guy as well. We all talked and laughed during breakfast and we didn't want to leave. We will be back again. Tips: get up early to see the dog in action. Don't eat too much for dinner because breakfast is huge.

My amazing weekend at Grace's Secret Garden was everything I was looking for in a getaway from Manhattan, on my own: quiet, relaxing but active and fun. The house and location: the house is really beautiful, very clean and quiet. The views from the rooms - in all directions - are stunning. The rooms are beautifully decorated - and the white sheets were so nice that they worth mentioning here! The location is ideal: secluded but not really. It is very close (10 min driving) to all the attractions and the center of action but a bit on the side so that it is quiet and away from the more touristic crowded areas. The hosts, breakfast and activities: Grace is very warm and fun and overall a great host! She and her husband helped me plan each of my days there with cool insights about everything! And they did choose the best trails for me, as I was hiking alone. Grace is an excellent cook - and I am a foodie! She prepares wonderful dishes and her pancakes alone will make me come back Bottom line: I plan to return to Grace's Secret Garden the soonest I can!

Sedona is a breathtakingly beautiful and spiritual place. If you go with an intention, you will most likely reach it. Our intention was to recharge, connect with nature and enjoy each others company. Grace and the sanctuary that she has created facilitated all of this. Grace is one of the most personable, genuine, and kind people that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Staying here is extraordinary, and so much better than even my best B&B experience. Grace and her husband felt like friends that we'd known for years. There was no awkwardness or superficiality, something that is too prevalent here in the city-suburbs. Let's talk about the breakfasts: Gourmet, healthy, and abundant. Every evening Grace asked us what time we were planning on awaking and if we were happy/able to have certain items. Each morning we would wake up to a beautiful presentation of fresh coffee, juices, homemade scones, outrageous omelets or specialty French toasts. Grace offers a hearty and delicious breakfast that starts the day off right. I recommend Grace's secret garden for any and every occasion. On a solo journey, needing to rejuvenate or contemplate? Go to Grace's. Looking for a romantic get-away and a space to focus on each other? Go to Grace's. Want to take your parents or parents-in-law to somewhere unique that will make them feel special? Go to Grace's. And when you go, feel the love and tranquility, and let it permeate your soul.

This is exactly how you should experience Sedona. Grace is incredibly kind and helpful, she immediately welcomed us then showed us local hotspots to hike since we mentioned we like to hike on the phone. Rewind that, even booking with Grace was a terrific experience! Unlike traditional bookings, she made a very conscious effort to get to know my gf (made the booking) while initiating a conversation so she could better recommend things for us to do. I actually left the room while she was booking, came back, and assumed she was on the phone with her mom based on what I was overhearing. Truly a caring hostess. Arriving to Grace's is absolutely scenic, and this is from a native. The room we stayed in had a direct and beautiful view of "The Court House". When we did arrive Grace met us at the door, immediately had maps ready for us and where we should go, also she has a table full of literature on all things Sedona which I found really convenient. Her dog Dixie is really an attraction on her own! 215 lbs mastiff....if you have any concern for safety while out in the desert this big girl will ease your mind. The property itself is gorgeous, the room felt just like home. The water at Graces is fantastic too! I know odd, but have you ever had natural well water? It was so delicious out of the tap, and not to mention your skin after a shower will feel so soft. Breakfast was great! Like everyone else mentioned, bring an appetite because you will be full. We hardly even had to do lunch even after a 6 mile hike on the West Fork trail (Grace suggested for us). She really went the extra mile and accommodated our food preferences that we requested. All in all I don't think we'll ever be able to stay anywhere else again when we visit Sedona. Grace makes your stay feel like you're becoming a member of a new family that you always want to visit.

Grace is one of the best hosts I have ever met. She showers her guests with caring, nurturing and FOOD! Every breakfast is made to your specifications and she loves to feed people. Homemade muffins and cookies and teas are on constant offer. Her home is lovely, the view amazing, the bed was super comfy, and there were many thoughtful touches, such as the mini fridge and flashlight, can openers, wine glasses, etc. A great choice of where to stay in Sedona.

STAY HERE. Grace and her husband are some of the most interesting, friendly and hospitable people we've ever met. My husband and I planned a trip to Sedona over Easter weekend. We are quite the fans of B&Bs as we appreciate the quaint, individuality you find in these places. Grace's Secret Garden had rave reviews, so we booked our stay here. Grace made me feel like family. We were greeted with afternoon tea and homemade cookies where Grace gave us several different pamphlets of all kinds of things to do, see and places to eat in Sedona. The view from their front door and the Red Rock Room is phenomenal. Sedona is a magical place, and Grace's home is comfortable and beautiful. Because we were there on Easter morning, we had the pleasure of experiencing a true Polish Easter brunch with Grace and her husband. Gorgeous table settings, fine china and crystal, DELICIOUS traditional food, colored eggs, and strong European coffee. It was truly an experience I will never forget. My husband was enamored with their 212lb English Mastiff Dixie! She sleeps pretty much all day, so be sure to visit her napping on the back porch before you leave! 5 STARS. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment and plan to make a return visit one day. Thank you Grace, for everything.

I took my mother to Sedona for a long weekend and we stayed at Grace's for two nights. This B&B is small, and so Grace is able to provide each guest just what they need -- such as what time each guest wants breakfast, attention to dietary restrictions, and really good advice about what to do in Sedona. The property has beautiful views. We had the "garden room," which was spacious, clean, and very comfy -- it was a perfect space to share with my mother. There is another room that seems great for couples -- it has a large window that provides romantic sunset and rock formation views. Grace's cooking and baking is fabulous -- and she is so genuinely sweet and wants her guests to be comfortable and happy. I definitely will be returning!

We had a perfect stay with Grace at her beautiful home. What a great cook, wonderful conversationalist, knowledgeable hostess! She has books about all the local flora, fauna, and history, and is generous with her time and advice. Her gardens are lovely; the house is away from the lights of town, and the stars and wildlife are magnificent. I hope to be back soon. I could not recommend more highly a wonderful place to stay in the Sedona area.

It doesn't get better than this! I completely agree with Kate's review--full of grace, warm, caring, very comfortable. She is an intuitive, gentle and a very friendly host. She is prepared not only to make your stay at her B&B wonderful, but your whole stay in Sedona. She has great advice in general about where to go, what to see, where to eat, etc. YES, amazing food. I couldn't recommend it more highly!

Grace is well named, as is her B&B. Everything about Grace's Secret Garden is graceful and gracious, and you'll feel graced by her warmth and care. Even before I came to stay, Grace herself spoke to me at length on the phone and told me what clothing to bring, to call her when I was about an hour away, and what I wanted to eat (she's an amazing cook--diet before you come!). I don't eat meat, and she said that she'd make veggie links with morning eggs and a veggie omelette. And her homemade muffins--and oh, my, the coffee! Absolute best, and as many cups as you want. She did all this, by the way, even though she made other food for the other guests. But I'm getting ahead of myself. The B&B is in a residential neighborhood; Grace and her husband had renovated the entire house and leave it to their guests to enjoy. When I arrived, she greeted me and showed me to my room with private bath and everything you could want (the TV was in the living room, but I didn't come to Sedona to watch television). The bed was one of those neat high-off-the-floor deals and very comfortable. I didn't have a pet, but apparently, they're welcome. And there's land, lots of land... But what makes Grace's special is Grace. When I came in, she spent a lot of time with me asking where I wanted to go and recommending me special sites, like Cathedral Rock, and what restaurants and galleries to go to, depending on my taste. I'd come primarily to visit the vortices and she knew where each of them was as well as the best tour guide. She spent time with me when I came back to talk about my experiences. And then, there's Dixie, the house mastiff (I took a photo with my Android, but it came out blurry). I love animals and was so glad that this sweet girl was there to keep me company as well. If and when I return to Sedona, I will return to Grace's!

Grace's Secret Garden is an excellent place to go if you love huge healthy breakfasts, stimulating conversation, and a warm comfortable atmosphere in a beautiful setting. We had the red rock view room and we woke up to a view of courthouse butte and bell rock. (Gorgeous) Grace is a friendly, attentive, and generous host who makes you feel right at home. You get the feeling that you are visiting a good friend rather than paying for a place to sleep and you will NOT leave the place hungry. (You can skip lunch...) The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and the breakfasts were out of this world. She is also an incredible baker. (Cookies and muffins and cranberry bread and tea after a day of hiking, and mountain biking = mmm...good... ) The cost is $ 150.00 per night and there is no hot tub however, the atmosphere, the company, and the food are great.
