Their regular flour tortillas were good, but the apple cinnamon tortillas were what really set this place apart from other fresh tortilla joints. The unique taste was a new experience that I recommend trying at least once!

Mi Casa Tortilla gets a five! I have always liked the corn tortilla chips with sea salt. They also make some of the best tortillas around. I especially like they're small snack size tortillas which are used to make grilled tacos. I've been in the store before and I have noticed a few different other snack tortillas. Lo and behold they are flavored. Apple spice and blueberry. Oh my goodness! The blueberry are amazing. I couldn't wait till I got home, I pulled the bag out when I got my car, unwrap to the bag, pulled a tortilla out, tore a some off, in my mouth it went and oh my. It has true blueberry taste. They were still slightly warm, if only I had a little bit of butter with me. You need to try these out, they are amazing. Hmmmm, I wonder what a little cream cheese would be like on them?

I am down to my last Blueberry Tortilla....Its so depressing. Moving away from AZ has been hard and that is because I am without Mi Casa Tortillas. Why do people even eat tortillas if they aren't MCTF? There is no point. No point in burritos, or cheese crisps or...or...life really. You can eat these hot or cold or warm with a little butter. They also make special flavors now and they are always fresh and fantastic every time. They also freeze and defrost really well.

I grew up eating these tortillas and had no idea that when I moved away from Arizona, there would never be anything comparable to these available! Honestly, I can't eat grocery store tortillas and cannot comprehend how others manage it. They taste like plastic. But these tortillas are heaven - soft and delicious. Didn't know they made special favors!! I would order these in whatever amount of bulk is reasonable to keep fresh/frozen.

It was good. The lady was nice but seemed uptight. Ordered a green enchilada style burrito and they gave me red. Eh..it was ok.

Fresh warm tortillas! In multiple flavors. very inexpensive. and we used the dash board in the summer heat to keep them warm as we happily gobbled them down as we cruised across the southwest! This is a tortilla factory, not a restaurant. Some small gifts as well, but the tortillas are what they do and they do it well!

The food was great even shipped back some tortillas to my mom. There is no dinning room or any really seating it's more of a grad and go place nice prices too! They even showed my dad around there little tortilla factory the tamales are the best

Stopped in to grab some tortillas to take home and ended up chowing down on a tostada while sitting on the bench in front of the place. Good tostada. Great tortillas.

Awesome tortillas and chips and salsa. The only improvement would be a few tables and chairs to sit down and chow!

The tortillas are horrible. They crack and tear when trying to roll a burrito. Lala's from the supermarket is the way to go

THE best place to get tortillas in Arizona. They have different sizes including wheat. They are hot, fresh, and wonderful. I also enjoy their chips with sea salt. Mi Casa will make you never want to eat any other tortillas ever again. I heard a rumor that they were going to make online ordering avaliable, which I hope is the case, that way us folks in the city can enjoy a taste of home! It's not a resturant, you just come in, pick up your selection, pay, and leave.

Two months later, I still wistfully remember the blueberry tortillas.... OMGOSH, they are THAT wonderful! I am up in Peoria, AZ and am wondering how to get some of these up here..... if they mailed them 'next day', I am sure they would still be fresh and YUMMY! A fresh warm, blueberry tortilla from this place should be on everyone's bucket list. You can't imagine how wonderful they tasted!

needed some tortillas in a pinch out of town and this was yelp's suggestion. the lady behind the counter was so sweet. the tortillas were still kind of warm when we picked them up, so you could tell they were fresh! and they were delicious.

We picked up some tasty tortillas on our way through town. I was disappointed that the sweet tortillas are only made on certain days (not the day we were there). They offered regular flour, whole wheat flour, and corn tortillas as well as masa, spices, and other Mexican specialty ingredients. It was worth the stop!

The tortillas were wonderful! Still hot of the oven when I finally made it there. Although I could not locate a parking lot, I was able to find street parking right outside the front door. Standing room only and very limited retail space. The store is no-frills; a counter with a register, a couple of refrigerated units that contain cold beverages and a few storage racks containing chips, chilies and other misc items. Definitely not a "eat in" place. While I was there (being indecisive as usual), the locals made it in and out like it was on there daily stop list. I finally decided on the white flour and wheat flour tortillas and the tortilla chips with sea salt. If they sold homemade salsa or guacamole, half the items would have been consumed on the rest of my road trip. Everything was delish! Definitely on my "go to" list next time I'm in Safford

The only tortillas anyone in Safford should be eating!!! Fresh and made by people who know what they are doing!!! If you are in town, go down to the building and get them when they are HOT off the press .... very good. Bring some salsa or guac and get ready to enjoy pure heaven

Being from out-of-town my wife and I was exploring Safford and happened to stumble upon this business. We parked but debated about even going in as we had loaded up on fresh made tortillas at Food City in Tucson before we left. I said let's check it out anyway. Bad mistake. These are the finest tortilla's one could buy any place in Arizona. My second mistake was reaching for a package of tortilla's sitting on the counter and they were hot. That was all she wrote. Then we find out there is a big celebration on Sat (Mar 03) of a Grand Opening and they were in the middle of cooking up lots and lots of tamales for the event. When the clerk found out we were not local and would not make the event she went in the factory and got us a dozen hot tamales just made. We paid for all of that and my arm then reached out and grab a bag of chips off the rack paid for them and left. When we got in our vehicle we both immediately pulled out a tamale and ate one. They were soooooo good. When we got back to our trailer in Willcox we tried one of the fresh tortillas and everyone is right. No place beats the Mi Casa Tortilla. Now if we can just get this factory to start up another one in the Willamette Valley of OR we would be really happy.

A quaint, family-owned business with friendly staff and tortillas to die for, made fresh daily. They make white flour, wheat flour and corn tortillas. The day we visited, the flour tortillas had just come out from the ovens and were still warm in the package. You can stand by the door to the "back room" and watch the workers make the tortillas. It is fun just to stand around and watch the locals come in to purchase their "daily bread". The lady behind the counter was very friendly and asked us about our stay in Safford. My husband and I purchased several packages of tortillas (by the way, they freeze well), ripped open into one of the packages on our way back to Phoenix, and stuffed ourselves silly. They also make homemade corn chips - very lite and tasty. You can buy the chips with salt or without salt. A must stop if you are ever in Safford.

I'm not sure if I love this place or I hate it for ruining every other tortilla on the planet for me. There is no better experience in life than a warm Mi Casa tortilla fresh out of the oven.

These are probably the best tortillas in Arizona! They make them on site, hot and ready to order.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
