Delicious food, fresh breads baked daily, a small yet frequently changing menu with savory omnivore and vegetarian options, wine beer and cocktails, all at very reasonable prices...what's not to like? BiGAs co-owners are a talented chef and friendly maître d' and they have supervised the revamping of the intimate physical space into a unique "industrial chic". The simplicity plays well for casual "Fun Dining", both lunch and dinner, here in Prescott. It's the type of place where you are sure to run into someone you know and conversation flows freely between the friendly staff and customers. The changing yet consistently delicious menu entices you back to try new offerings and the gleaming bar welcomes you to enjoy appetizers and drinks. 5 star yummy and fun in my book for casual "fun dining".

I ate here with my parents and 7 month old daughter when I first moved to Prescott back in April. This place is tiny but super cute and the food is amazing! Service was a bit slow but other than that we were all pleased with our meals. I had the Asian turkey burger and it was delicious! I can't remember what my parents had but I do remember they were also both pleased with their choices. I will definitely go back and take my friends who come to visit!

BiGA is one of Prescott's culinary gems. The food has always left me completely satisfied. You can tell a lot of care and attention goes into each dish. As I enjoy trying new things, I quite enjoy the rotating menu. Also, the price is very reasonable given the excellent quality of the food.

Excellent food! I had the Asian turkey burger and it was fantastic! I rarely bother to order turkey burgers anywhere because they are always dry and usually flavorless. This one was incredibly juicy and packed with flavor! The bun was a little too tall to eat at first, but I mashed it down to make it more manageable, and it was very fresh and tasty. I chose the green chili mac & cheese for the side and was pleasantly surprised by the robust taste. All in all, a very delicious & substantial meal for a very reasonable price. I also had a hibiscus margarita which was a perfectly made with just the right sweet & tart combination. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a change of pace from the usual Prescott dining fare. Kudos to Annie & the gang for rolling out something fresh and new and AWESOME!

Was really bummed. Went with friends at could not get service at all so we left. It is a small place and the waitress seemed really frazzled. While I waited several minutes for a table, she would not even look at me. I stood awkwardly at the door. When a table was empty, she still did not speak to us or look our way. The waitress just sort of bussed tables and acted like she was in a mood. So, wont be back. Have heard that it is good though.

This was our first time there, but what a wonderful surprise. It only has 8 tables, a small bar and parking is a challenge... small lot but plenty of close street parking, but great food. They bake their own bread, which is reason enough to try their food. I had a hot Italian coldcut sandwich and my wife had a turkey burger. Both were excellent. The specials and salads looked great as well. Service was very prompt and friendly. Will definitely return.

The food was very tasty, wait times for your food was a bit long and the place is extremely cramped and not comfortable. I would be unlikely to return to this restaurant because of the cramped seating environment.

Service very poor. Food was interesting the grill cheese looked amazing. My friend enjoyed it. The chicken morango was enjoyed by my friend. My husbamd really enjoyed his shrimp. The Swedish meatballs was tasty. Ordered the salted carmel bread pudding. I like a pudding that is softer and this was very firm. My friends enjoyed it though. The homemade caramel was tasty. If you want to get in and out this is not the place to go. They also treated the locals much better than our out of towner group. They seem to be a favorite of the locals. Will I go back? Only if I know the menu first and I will call ahead and order the food first.

Although the menu is not large, what they do offer are wonderful and delicious. The key to a good sandwich is good bread and theirs is delicious. I had the BLT and the gourmet mayonaise was superb. The staff is friendly and the drinks were great. We will be back.

So all the reviews are great. And tons of yummy pics on yelp. So i went here. Party of 3. Tables are a bit tight because its so small. The menu was tiny and nothing to write home about. I had a sandwich which was good..side of mac and cheese which was bland. Best thing at the table was a tomato cucumber salad. Anyhow. ..it was just fine.. they offer homemade bread but its super hard.

  • Audrey B.

The food itself is quite basic--grilled cheese, BLTs, hamburgers, etc. However, it's the gourmet mayonnaise that makes me give this place 5 stars. The dipping sauce for the BLTs has a hint of basil and is delicious. But the Asian turkey burger had the best (gingery I would say) sauce of all. Fresh bread on the table to top it off.

We went here for an early dinner. This place has a very cozy feeling to it. As we came in the door, we were greeted and told to sit anywhere we like. My husband had the BiGA Burger with the green chili mac and cheese and a hibiscus margarita. I opted for the Portobello Mushroom Sandwich, also with mac and cheese. Let's put it this way: we made very short work of it. Honestly, I was halfway through my sandwich before I remembered that I wanted to yelp this visit! Sorry you'll just have to take my word--it looked and tasted amazing. The balsamic dressing and goat cheese made my tastebuds stand at attention. The only down side was waiting for the check. I'm not sure if we were giving off signals that we weren't ready or what but we were finished for a good while before our server came by again. Other than that, everything about this visit was on point. We can't wait to visit this cute little restaurant again!

Okay I ate here a few days ago I was not impressed With anything - not the food not the service not the ambiance not the decor not the temperature. It was all ok. Just ok. Most importantly, the food was acceptable, but not outstanding ! We tried seven different things amongst appetizers, entrées, desserts, and drinks, and nothing was 'wow' ! So there you have it. This is my honest opinion of my visit. I can not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Great customer service!!! Excellent food!! Highly recommended if you are in the Prescott area!! Parking is a bit confusing but the restaurant itself is absolutely awesome, and the interior is very well done!!! Check it out!!!

This place is my new favorite! It's tiny, cute and the food is DELICIOUS! Cute bar and fresh daily menu. We had the havarti grilled cheese with green chili mac and the shrimp and cheesy grits. Wonderful! The service was friendly and attentive, but not overly in your face. Always had a drink! Only downfall to report is the parking. Very limited and in back tiny lot.

Yummy tasty food and despite what I read about service from other reviews our service was hands down perfection. I tried the Asian turkey burger and it was so delicious I'm wanting it now for breakfast. My friend got the Hungarian meatballs which I tried and they were super moist and full of flavor. its really really small inside and we only waited about 3-5 minutes for a table. I enjoyed the lemon drop martini as well. Will definitely be back to this hole in the wall.

Today was the first time my boyfriend and I have eaten at BiGA's. But not the last! He's heard very good things about it so we decided to give it a try. I had the Asian turkey burger with cole slaw and it was great! It looked good on the plate and tasted equally wonderful. He is a very picky eater but finished every bite of his chicken and dumplings. We were in the mood to "try something new" and this definitely hit the spot. I'd definitely recommend it.

Great service. Menu changes daily. Rueben is amazing. Fresh salad with grilled shrimp was a lite treat. Kids love the chili mac n cheez. Came in after 1:00 and got a table immediately. Next time we are in Prescott we will make this a special stop.

  • Courtney B.

Fantastic !!!! Grilled cheese heaven, burger just perfect, green chili mac n cheese really out of this world ! Everything tastes homemade with know-how. The bread on sandwiches had to be fresh baked. The peach pie was the only thing a little tweek could help make more enjoyable, a little more salt in the crust and sugar in the filling would have made it as flavorful and amazing as the rest of the meal. Well and ice cream wouldn't hurt at alllllll.

A Small Gem I recently returned to Prescott after a 6 month absence. I had heard that Biga had opened and my friends were giving it rave reviews. In the 4 weeks that I have been back, I have been there 4 times! LOVE the atmosphere! The revolving menu is fun and I love seeing what is new since the last time I was in. I have had the burger, BLT, grilled cheese, salads, pot roast and the salted caramel bread pudding. Everything has been top notch! Bread is YUMMY. If the restaurant is very busy service can be a little slow, but I tend to just go with the flow. This is my new go to place. Do not miss it.

YUM! This is a little gem of a restaurant. The menu changes daily, but there are a host of items that stay daily. It's an intimate space, small, but does not feel tight. The decor is tasteful and creative. A friend posted on Facebook that he'd gone, so one day I stopped in and checked out their menu. It looked good, so I went back the following week with a friend. Wow, the food and drinks were wonderful. Jalapeno-pineapple margarita sounded odd, but it was so good! Started with Gravlax Crostini, which reminded me of my visit to Helsinki (yay!) then I had stuffed halibut and my friend had a steak salad (I forget what his dish was called - I was too enamored of my dish. ha!) Not only was the presentation beautiful, but the flavors were perfect. BiGA's is a fun place to stop in for lunch, and is also a great "date night" restaurant. They have only been in business for a few months - I encourage everyone to go there and make this place a Prescott staple.

I love BiGA! Everything has delicious every time I've gone. The service really slow, though. Everyone is super friendly, but no one seems to work quickly. I think it's worth the wait, though. :)

The flavors of the food were THE best thing about this place! Our waitress however was sub par. We will definitely be back though because every single thing we ordered food-wise was amazing. I got a lemon drop martini and it was phenomenal too. The hibiscus margarita just tasted like a regular margarita though with pink dye in it lol. I couldn't taste the hibiscus! The atmosphere here is very cute and quaint and if the service could just be a little bit more attentive they'd get a 5 Star from me! The owner (or manager) asked us how we liked our food which we love and the girl at the bar was really sweet. Occasionally this place is closed when the online hours say open! I showed up a week ago and there was a small sign in the window saying closed (randomly) for 2 weekdays. The hours are odd too, but if you call ahead to make sure they're open you should be good to go and the food is well worth it. Ps...go pee before you arrive: the his/hers bathroom was more like a 'his' with the lid up and pee all over the floor. Yuck!

A small simple place with dimmed lighting. They have a bar with a selection of different margaritas. I got a Sierra Nevada on tap and they have a few others on tap and bottled. We ordered a hoagie, the mini pizza, citrus salad, and the fall salad. The hoagie was very good and was straightforward, with salami, capicola, ham, and provolone with olives and an Italian vinaigrette. The citrus salad was excellent with clementines and a creamy orange vinaigrette. The fall salad was tasty but had too much kale and not enough of everything else. The chicken was sub par on the salad too. The mini pizza had good flavor and I enjoyed the balsamic reduction. The biga ferment texture was noticeably good on the mini pizza but not the hoagie. Friendly, timely service and it was not too expensive.

Loved loved loved this gem of a restaurant! The menu is small but the flavors are big. My husband and I split a veggie burger and although I typically don't eat veggie burgers this meal will change my opinion of them as it was by far the best I ever had. The sauce on the burger was a party for my mouth. I'm stingy about the star rating I give but this is definitely a 5 star meal. I also had the tomato and cucumber salad. It was very fresh with just the right amount of dressing. We then split a salted caramel bread pudding. The name speaks for itself but let me tell you I asked my husband for one bite and then he had to stop me after I already ate half. It's the perfect combination of sweet and salty. This is a small place - only about 8 tables but they also have a bar with what looked like a great selection of drinks and about 4 stools. Next time I go to Prescott this will have to be a must stop for me. Can't say enough about this culinary delight!

Getting out of the Phoenix heat for a long weekend and hit the "what's close by" and up popped Biga. Still trying to drop a few pounds so had a garden salad with the New Orleans shrimp. Lot's of garlic and just the right heat, dressing was light and fresh and bread was warm and worth the carbs. Great service, cool interior design-just a great lunch on a perfect afternoon in a great little town. Good job ladies!

I don't know about their food, we tried two nights in a row to get in. The second night my husband came in with me and said, "I don't care how good the food maybe it can't make up for cramped and noisy." The dining space and tables are extremely small and it was so noisy I don't know how you could carry on a conversation. Very uncomfortable but obviously ok for others.

This is just the type of restaurant that I love. It's a tiny little place with surprisingly gourmet food. The service was very friendly. When our waitress found out this was our first visit, she took the time to go over thee I with us and answer questions. We started with the New Orleans shrimp for an appetizer. Delicious. It had the perfect amount of spice: just hot enough to give it bite, but didn't detract from the flavor of the shrimp. My grilled cheese was phenomenal. I've never before had a grilled cheese that I could describe as both crispy and fluffy. My hubby got the Asian turkey burger, and the flavor was right on. We finished off with a salted caramel bread pudding which was heavenly. We will definitely be back, and next time we'll bring friends.

This is a fantastic restaurant! The food was soooo delish and Speclana, the lady who owns the place is great. We had a so much fun talking to her. Anyway the food, it was to die for. We had the Biga burger (so so good) had yummy bacon on it and the bun is made right here too. Side dish was Mac and cheese with green chilli and can I say OMG! The flavor! Well I'll just say we will be coming back again and again!

Had the hibiscus margarita, havarti grilled cheese and potato salad - incredible! Partner had the mini pizza and house salad with champagne vinagrette. Really good food, a great vibe and wonderful staff. Will definitely be back!!!!

BiGA's food is fantastic, and the staff are friendly. If you don't like smaller (cramped/intimate) spaces or waits for tables, you would be better-served to order food to go. Really, every single thing that I've had on the ever-changing menu has been very good or excellent - I'm not sure it would be possible to go wrong with a food choice at BiGA's.

We were passing thru Prescott on the way to Phoenix and came across this restaurant. This is they type of restaurant that we look for when travelling, small, cozy and non-chain food. My wife had the Havarti grilled cheese and I ordered their hamburger. We were not disappointed. My wife stated the grilled cheese was the best she ever had and loved the fresh bread. The hamburger was on what must have been a homemade bun and made for one of the best burgers I've ever had. We will be stopping in here again the next time we go through Prescott.

Great little cafe in the middle of Prescott. Small menu with some interesting dishes as well as some classics. As noted by other Yelpers, the bar is very good. Service is friendly and prompt, the prices very reasonable. Will be coming back to try the burgers on the menu :-).

Super! Fresh, yummy seasonal cooking, reasonable prices... Locally owned! What else do you need? Absolutely the best bread in Prescott !!! Ergo the name BiGa ... Italian bread super fresh made daily.

Their Asian turkey burger rocks! Their house made buns are tasty and just the right texture. The decor is fun, bright and cheery and it matches their service too.

I recently sat down at BiGas with some friends and it was great. The shrimp appetizer started us off with a nice kick. All the bread burgers and salads we had were fantastic. The bread pudding was average but overall a great meal

BiGA was quickly becoming my favorite restaurant in Prescott due to their fantastic food, changing menu, and great prices. But the service from the waitstaff and facilities proved to be incredibly lacking. The day of my graduation I made a reservation for about 9 people, and walking into the restaurant, the poorly maintained parking lot caused my grandmother to trip, resulting in her front tooth being knocked back. Obviously we would need to cancel our reservation, and as my friend informed the waitress that we would not be able to keep it, she responded with a inconvenienced "fine". I myself wasn't feeling well and needed to sit down for a moment, but another waitress said that they needed to begin clearing and taking apart the tables. All in all, my favorite restaurant became one I may not return to. BiGA needs to fix their parking lot and their attitude. (On another note, I ate there the day before the event and it took 2 hours to have lunch with a party of 3)

Love this place!! The Asian Turkey Burger is out of this world!!! The fresh bread is fantastic and they have great drink creations. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to eat at in Prescott.

Our favorite new restaurant in Prescott. Well prepared, healthy meal choices made from scratch and a menu that changes daily. It is casual dining at the right price. Our server Liz was gracious, warm and informative. Her dad, Rick is the bartender on weekends and is always ready with a friendly welcome and smile. Love the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. Space enough between tables but close enough to strike up a conversation with neighboring diners. A nice beer and wine list. The macaroni and cheese is outstanding and the bread pudding to live for. Finally, a good creative foodie experience in Prescott.

What a great place for lunch! Everything was fresh and delicious. The burger was juicy, tender and the homemade roll was excellent. I asked Kristen for a "fruity rum drink" and got one of the best rum punches I've ever had. It was so good I had two! My wife had the ginger carrot soup and a great salad. Both were outstanding. For dessert we had the salt caramel bread pudding. I was so full that I thought I would bust but I had to eat that dessert. yummy, yummy. The atmosphere is cool and cozy. Prescott has a winner in BiGA's....

First time there and we were very impressed. We were getting extremely tired of the usual Prescott meat-and-potatoes fare, served with disinterest and aimed toward the tourist dollar. This place was a very pleasant surprise. Cute, small space with chalkboard specials and an eclectic, changing menu. Priced surprisingly reasonably ($8-13 for entrees) for the care and quality that goes into the food. Personable, pleasant service, even if it is a little slow (it's a small place, so a wait to sit and a wait for food should be expected). The food had big flavors--the BBQ shrimp were excellent and a bit spicy, the soups were made fresh and phenomenal, and the asian turkey burger was one of the best burgers this red meat devotee has ever had. A selection of reasonably priced wine that goes beyond the "red, white, or pink?" list that a lot of Prescott joints have. All in all this was a great surprise and we'll be back--you should go, too. Just be prepared to wait a little...good food takes time.

One of my favorite places to eat in Prescott. Very small but always has an interesting menu and great offering of drinks. One of the most appropriately priced places in town.

What a wonderful find! Cozy tables, excellent staff and the food is beyond belief! I had carrot ginger soup and the citrus salad---delicious! My husband had a burger with green chili mac & cheese as a side. The burger was so lean even I could enjoy it and the mac & cheese is habit forming. BUT, the reason we will go back again and again is the salt caramel bread pudding. The BEST in the area!

Food quality and presentation outstanding. Reasonable pricing provides excellent value. Restaurant is VERY small with limited number of tables. Tends to be noisy when all tables are filled. Reservations accepted for parties of 6 or more only. Limited amount of parking available during lunch hours when nearby businesses are open.

Excellent. The service, atmosphere & food are 5 stars. I have been there several times with large parties and they did a wonderful job. I am very impressed and so glad they are in Prescott. Try the shrimp pasta!
