The services are great! The food options are great! The price is not bad for buffet $10 average and you got it all! The pizza tasted not good. Pasta sauce flavor is just ok. It tasted just like plain tomatoes.

I love Golden Corral and usually go to the location on Dysart but decided to give this one a try. What a mistake! I was expecting a large population of Hispanics, considering the area, but I was not expecting the mass of people coming to eat here Sunday afternoon in their church attire. The place was packed. There weren't even that many people at Dysart Golden Corral on Thanksgiving Day! I immediately felt my anxiety rise. Once seated, my friend and I had to take a moment to mentally prepare before attempting to navigate the buffet... It was so crowded. I got meatloaf, mashed potatoes, steak fries, pot roast, and a yeast roll. The meatloaf is one of my new favorite things at GC, but I noticed it looked different. It had a gravy on top instead of the ketchup I'm used to. And when I tried it, it was cold and gross. Definitely a different recipe. I couldn't eat it. And I did not get the mac & cheese I usually love because it looked like it was still frozen... my friend said it was cold. What a disappointment! The dessert bar was a nightmare to navigate. I couldn't get anywhere near the chocolate fountain. People just crowd around there and cut in line. It's awful. The dessert bar was also slim pickins... there wasn't as much selection as there normally is and what they did have was running low. The workers couldn't seem to restock quickly enough. Speaking of workers, they kept blocking the aisles and we couldn't get to & from our table easily. This location sucks and I don't ever need to come here again.

Had a bad experience here the girl in the register was so rude to me and my girlfriend, we came to this restaurant to meet other family that was already waiting for us to arrive not knowing you can't pay in advance for other people that haven't arrived yet, the girl at the register didn't even try to explain how everything works at that restaurant and just sent us to the back of the line, then she was being rude and inconsiderate of paying customers giving everyone attitude and the phone had been ringing for a while and she was ignoring it but soon as me and my girlfriend came up to the register to pay she answered the phone to not deal with us because she knew we were not going to tolerate her bad attitude and some other guy that looked like a supervisor was right next to her and had asked her if she was even going to give me my receipt after paying and the only reason I went from 1 star to 3 is because the waitress that was attending us was polite enough to ask to take our plates and give us refills and had a way better attitude then the girl in the register.

Eh what can I say it was a buffet... exactly what I come to expect. I do come here often so it is good enough to bring me back. But nothing I am going to jump up and down raving about either.

This particular location is filthy, disgusting and horrible. If you don't mind these things you'll have a great time.

The only reason why I even gave it a one is because the salad was fresh but then again how can you go wrong with salad .... anyway the whole place reeked of pee and the food was unappealing .... NEVER AGAIN .....and then the bathroom was one stall and it was filthy ...... by the time I made it home two of my boys were complaining of stomach aches and I had the runs .... They should just SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN

Ok, change the oil in your fryer, chicken tasted burned but didn't look burned, the pork chops were fried so hard I never did get to taste it. Canned green beans which I sully lov had bee sitting too long or were over heated, step it now.

This was my first and last time eating here. The food was gross. The bbq chicken was cold. The dinner rolls were burnt at the bottom. I just stuck to the vegetables I thought you can't go wrong with something that comes from a can.

It's surprising, but not all the outlets of this chain are alike. This one avoids the problem of overcooking items like pork and beef, and our server was remarkably attentive. The place was clean and they keep things were well stocked. I like the salad bar. The main thing for a good salad bar is having lots of fresh ingredients. Keeping it fresh requires lots of traffic, and this place has that. Salads are easy to make, but having a dozen or more fresh ingredients at home would take a lot of effort. Like most buffets of this type it's crowded and noisy at peak times, and the food is tasty, but without much spice. If you want stately silence and dedicated personal service, you should be somewhere else. Golden Corral is a good deal, and this outlet is well run. The weekend breakfasts are the best deals, unbeatable.

Went here today. Can't exactly pinpoint the reason why, but I did. Something about the kids wanting to go or something. Yeah, something like that. Pros: - Prices are great! $40 for two adults and two kids. - Lots of choices. - Service was good. Cons: - Nothing was really good. Everything was meh. On the flip side, nothing was bad either. Random: - There was a homeless person sleeping on the ground inside the restaurant near the entrance. I guess this shouldn't be all that surprising considering the area (beautiful Maryvale!) Overall, not a bad experience, just not necessarily noteworthy.

In my 20+ years of restaurant trotting, never once have I walked out of a restaurant in the middle, or beginning of my meal for that matter. Now don't get me wrong, I love the buffets whether it is that of the Old Country or of the Home Town styling but this dining establishment has seriously bruised my pallet and psyche. Perhaps it was the time of day, which was on a Sunday afternoon (Yes, I know, a buffet on a Sunday afternoon is packed with enough of the elderly to star as extras in the next George A. Romero film) or maybe it was the fact that I just wasn't feeling buffet steak, but either way I was horribly disappointed with this place. After standing in line with children screaming and yelling (Some in many different languages) for about half an hour we then arrived at the register where we then had to wait to be seated. I thought that was a cool idea until that wait turned into another 10 minutes, still holding up a tray while dodging children running and/or tumbling about. Again I let the waiting slip by since it was a Sunday afternoon. After about what seemed like I could have accomplished the Kessel Run in about 12 parsecs we were then seated. If you are not the size of one of the Olsen twins, navigating though the maze of tables could present some challenges. After we were then seated I had then conjured up quite an appetite. As my lady friend and I approached the actual buffet I again had to run though a gauntlet made up of more screaming children and confused elders. At that point I kept thinking "Where the Hell are the parents?" Now most buffets have a sign that clearly states "Parents: Please accompany your children to the buffet area!" In a bold and menacing font. Parents, if you're not into accompanying your screaming and sticky children to the designated buffet area, then The Golden Corral is for you! After dining on fish, shrimp and what seemed like chicken (there are not labels marking all the food) I came to the conclusion that I truly disliked this place. I am not exactly a fish guy, but that was all that had been left. (I had noticed Golden Corral had not once restocked the food while I was in line waiting) Also after discovering a bone in the skin (yes, a bone embedded in the skin!) of my chicken I had to leave. Now I will say that their rolls they bring to you at the table were very tasty but alas, Golden Corral I will not be back to dine on your misfit chicken nor to try and go though a maze of screaming children to get to my table.

I fucking LOVE Buffets. I really do. But the food here was so bland. My god. Taco meat bland. Salad dressing outta jar no re fridge type Chinese food, tasted like my kid could have made better. I seriously ate one bite of the Chinese food. So over powered with Soy Sauce. Complete garbage. Slider Hamburgers dry and tasteless. Corndogs lousy. Even the Mt Dew I drank tasted watered down. NO JOKE. The food was so bad I ended up eating fucking watermelon. Because everything tasted so bad. Now on to the deserts. Avg at best. And why do you dip your apples in salt. Tasted like shit. I don't know if they don't want them to turn brown before you dip them in the chocolate fountain. But it tasted TERRIBLE. Over all this buffet was the worst I ate since Whiskey Petes on the Cali/NV stateline. And that has almost been 10 years ago. I was so disappointed with this buffet. Seriously save your money and go to Old Country for better flavor.

Yummm !! I was wishing I hadn't eaten breakfast before visiting this place for an early lunch. My senses were just getting started as I went back for a third plate, & by the time It was gone two things were clear: ONE, I had to use what little room I had left to sample a few the desserts that were calling my name from across the room and... TWO, I have to make it back here soon with a BIG appetite! =)

needless to say I think they need a good manager for the past three visits the food was not that great I have been eating here for years about 7 or more I have always liked the food but this manager sucks. I have owned three restaurants that I sold and no they were doing great when I sold them I just got too old. last time there the ribs were cold, nothing like cold lard to make you gag. The chicken wings were nothing to write home about and most of them were not even put out. I was serving myself to some wings the manager grabs the tray from me so I had to wait on him for the ribs it was 10 past 4pm and he kept telling the cooks not put the ribs out until some of the lunch crowd left. The other time he was entertaining some guys that seemed to be pushing drugs or something from the corner table but they kept going up to people and talking to the manager been there done that so I knew what they were doing. Anywho the last few times just had the melon and soup this place has started to suck.

I'm not in the business of enjoying many buffets these days. My girlfriend doesn't appreciate my ever expanding waste line and my new found squishy qualities as much as I do. So where's the first place I go on a weekend away with the dudes? Buffet. Nope, the food isn't spectacular, the service isn't worth raving about, and the atmosphere is pretty reminiscent of a fancy high school cafeteria. But, it's a buffet. You pay a small, small price for an endless supply of food. Best part? I had steak, New Orleans chicken, gobs of rice, heaps of ice cream, and some other stuff I can't remember because of the food coma, AND all of it was either respectably OK or even fairly enjoyable. Golden Corral will forever have a spot in my heart and a gaping hole in my stomach to fill.

As far as American buffets are concerned, this place is always pretty flavorful. I mean you can't beat green beans that are seasoned and have bacon in them...most places just throw out cans of vegies and heat them up. The rolls with the honey butter are always to die for. Yes, tons of same ole same ole with fried foods and pasta/pizza, but they do have steak too and it is usually pretty good for the price. Cons: I say this with all hope of Management at some point reading it. The chocolate fountain...needs to go. Yes, it looks cool and people love it, but I have never sat close to it before until last night and this is what I saw in just an hour. Two little boys were going up to it and putting their fingers in it...then licking them, then doing it again...no idea where their parents were, they looked 7ish and 4ish. Then a little girl around 7-8 alone again, came with an ice cream cone and dips it in...losing the ice cream in it. After her, a 10ish age girl comes and dips a berry on a stick, eats it and then continues to put the stick under the fountain, licking it off the stick...over and over for the hour. I am a Nurse, so this made me cringe. I wonder how many viruses and contamination are in this fountain? I will never eat anything from it and if you are a parent...don't let your kids eat from it. I watched it get cross contaminated about 20 times in only an hour. So, who knows how sick it could make you. And, finally shame on parents now days for letting their children scream an run wild in resturants. If we could all manage the task when we were children to sit at the table and eat politly, your chilren can too. Managment, should really inforce, no children running around unattended. Not that it would have helped the girl redipping the stick and licking it, as her mom sat on her ass and watched her do it over and over. Yeah, she would tell her to come back to the table...but never got off her butt to make her.

Food was great. However, the place was sooooo filthy. It's a pretty big turn off considering their business deals with food The place is obviously did not have enough employees to keep the place clean. Seeing how untidy the place is, you'd have second thoughts about trying the food. We were just famished that's why we did.

Ok I have been here many times now. I love the salad bar. Steak cooked to order. Cabbage and Meat Loaf. All food is excellent and price is great too. Also the weekend breakfast is very good and includes your beverage for about $8.50. Give it a try.
