All I have to say is this shake was Phenomenal. I asked the kid making it...Please don't make it watery (since typically not all employees can make a shake the right way from my previous experiences). He made it just right and what was better is I was craving this Mint Chocolate Chip Shake for awhile now and it was tasty. Can't wait for another one...Mmmmm!!!

She wiped her nose with her hand and then scooped the ice cream.... SHE WIPED HER NOSE WITH HER HAND AND THEN SCOOPED THE ICE CREAM! WHY DID YOU DO IT RAYNA?! WHY?! That's dang nasty Rayna! You should know better if you have your food handlers card! Why Rayna, why?! Thank goodness we were only getting an ice cream cake.

I went to this location on 8/31 during their $1.31 scoop event and I have to say it was the worst experience I've ever had. There was a line out the door with only one employee working. It took over an hour to get a scoop of of Ice Cream and by the time I went to pay it was melted due to the long wait and lack of air conditioning. I will not be going back to this location anytime soon.

Never fails on Friday afternoons, they always have just one worker trying to service all the kids that just got out of school. Good ice cream but takes forever to actually get it.

When kids beg for ice cream, and it sounds good to me too, I am happy to consider Baskin-Robbins as this is what I grew up with. However, this store is a continuous disappointment. We went on a Saturday night and there was only 1 young woman working there. I felt bad for her as she was truly working hard to get orders out to the line. They've "updated" the store but it doesn't seem any better, just different. And, on the weekend before Christmas, they inexplicably did not have peppermint ice cream.

I love Baskin Robbins because, well, heck, it has over 31 flavors! I don't like to veer off from my "boring" Vanilla (as the hubs calls it), but I can't go to BR without getting their cookies and cream on a sugar cone. There are so many other flavors there that are also quite tasty but I feel like I'm betraying cookies and cream if I try something else.

Can you sit there and say that you've never enjoyed one of the 31 flavors at Baskin Robbins? I definitely can't. In fact, I spent many afternoons during my childhood at my local Baskin Robbins enjoying flavors like Gold Medal Ribbon, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Mint Chocolate Chip and let's not forget about the season Bubble Gum flavor! That was the best because you had gum to chew once you were done with the ice cream! But moving on from my memories to my actual experience at this local Baskin Robbins. I'm giving Baskin Robbins four stars because I know that I can walk in and order a delicious ice cream cake with an adorable decoration, whether it be a golfer, a suit with a tie, a Cars scene...you name it, they've got it! This cake is an instant conversation starter, it's the perfect cake for a party and it's delicious with every bite! You can choose any ice cream flavor, chocolate or vanilla cake and the cakes range from the smallest being around $16 to around $40 for the largest. This includes the decoration. Am I the only remaining person who makes it a point to order an ice cream cake for a special occasion? Maybe, but I hope that others order them to because I don't know what I'll do if I don't have a Baskin Robbins to purchase a cute ice cream cake from! (pictures attached!)

So the birthday boy and I went here the other night because he wanted to get his treat of a free scoop. Unfortunately, we learned after driving out of our way to get here that they no longer honor birthday coupons. I understand there is a cost associated with accepting the coupon, but it seems as though it would be a small one for loyal customers. I think the company as a whole should accept a coupon or have a way of notifying people when they search for locations near them.

I scream. You scream. We all scream... for ice-cream! Or, so the saying goes... not so much at B & R on Camelback though... there are 2 big disappointing factors about this B &R. 1 - unfriendly employees... I've been in on several occasions and not once have I seen an employee smile or be anything other than monotone. 2 - no soft serve. So, it's fine to get a scoop or two, but honestly, I'd much rather drive the extra 20 minutes and go to Ice Tango!

Ready for this? Let's keep it simple and to the point. : super ghetto and dirty. Enough said. Service pretty decent. I just suggest going to a different location, or different ice cream place all together.

When I was a kid, there were two places my dad would take me for ice cream. One was our neighborhood Thrifty's, which down the road got bought out by Rite-Aid and is just not the same anymore. The other was Baskin-Robbins, which was a few doors down from our old barber's and would be my every-6-weeks post-haircut staple. Whereas with Thrifty's I was all over the map flavor wise, usually ending up with a triple scoop of chocolate, strawberry, and mint chip (don't "dude, that's gross" me - I know you're doing it), with BR I never bothered with 30 other flavors. There was only one: chocolate fudge. Now, times come and go and my strong ties to BR faded away as I entered adulthood, and when you're living in SF there's superior ice cream to be had, but moving to Phoenix, I chanced upon this BR location last year because I thought of checking out what this Wild Oats store was all about. It also happened to be a Tuesday, and BR looked like a complete madhouse. But I don't think it's the kids that the parents go there for. Kids are an excuse, and I'm onto these people. Moms and Dads all flock to $1 scoop Tuesdays because THEY want ice cream. Children? Completely tertiary in their motivation. You can see it as Pops demolished half the scoop of rocky road in one bite, while Mom is orgasming taking dainty spoonfuls of her cup of pina colada. Meanwhile, little Joey has smeared blue raspberry all over his $40 GapKids tshirt and Kaitlin's scoop of bubblegum fell off her sugar cone onto her Barbie sneakers and she's completely hysterical, but Mom's in another world right now and isn't paying an iota of attention. I turned away from this spectacle and went into Wild Oats, motivated and completely ready to get my granola on and be healthy. And then I walked out, paying like $2.50 for a tomato (singular). Back towards my car I went, and the Baskin Robbins carnival was still going strong. I looked at my tomato. Fuck it, Baskin Robbins it is. I went in, urgently scanned for the tub of extremely dark brown chocolate fudge, gave a sigh of relief that it was there and not sent to unpopular flavor purgatory, and ordered a scoop on a sugar cone, just like I used to do a quarter-century earlier (holy shit, that's prehistoric). Now I had no kids in tow. I was making no excuses. I just wanted ice cream. Besides, on this balmy Tuesday night, it was cheaper than my tomato. I then brought it outside and sat on a bench. And it was just like I remembered, except that I wasn't itchy from just having stepped off a barber's chair. But then again, it was also different, because unfortunately I forgot that when I was a kid, I wasn't lactose intolerant. I brought no Lactaid pills with me today. I wasn't expecting to eat ice cream this evening. It was compltely impulsive. And of course I paid the price afterwards - but for one dollar and 2 minutes of chocolate fudge-induced nostalgia, I'd say it was worth it. The $2.50 tomato, maybe not so much.

Hey parents, the Baskin Robbins on 40th Street and Camelback has a great Tuesday night deal. Kids scoops for $1 and adults $1.50! It is a great neighborhood business, we walk up and enjoy ice cream, and run into my sons' friends from school, it's like happy hour for the kids!
