Great barbecue pork sandwich and fries and good beer. Love to sit by the water and watch the boats zip by. Can get VERY crowded evening and weekend, so be prepared for a long wait for food. But fun to hang out.

Worse bar on the river! Bartender does not cut off drunks! Ridiculous service and overpriced drinks!

Some of the best times of my life have been spent at this place! LOVE all the bartenders and security staff. They are fantastic. Roadrunner cooks produce a pretty darn good omlet I must say as well. All the locals that come here are freaking great and I consider them my second family. If you are going to be in Havasu/Parker you must stop by here and check out the good times. =) Be carefull with those road rapers though...they will kick ur butt!

Good food and great drinks. Could use a little updating, but it is always a good choice.

Fun times, good music and the road raper drink! Good thing we could walk back to my friends place! :) Its near the "river" everyone goes to but Parker is more private and family oriented. I heard they were going to close, and I am glad to see they didn't. There is no where else around there to go and party and drink for the summer holiday! crazy times and stories epically when the girls gone wild bus and cameras showed up!

OMG!! My friends had been telling me about this place and the famous RoadRaper for a month. I heard stories of black outs, passing out and stuff that I can't and shouldn't even mention here. So of course memorial day weekend finally arrives and our first stop is the Roadrunner. We had been drinking earlier that day, so we had a good buzz going. I was a little apprehensive about the RoadRaper, but everyone assured me it was the best thing ever. This drink will definitely catch up with you, as most mixed drinks do. It was the perfect mixture of fruitiness and pure alcohol! I will admit, I chickened out and had to share my RoadRaper with my friend for fear of the consequences. Maybe next time I'll go for the full experience, nonetheless it was a great time and great place for food and some Zombie juice! :)

Roadrunner is the BEST place on the Parker Strip for drinks and a bite to eat. The bartenders, especially Susan and Dick, are the greatest on the river. Roadrunner has a floating dock that is awesome year round. We love to split a breakfast burrito or patty melt. Both are fantastic.

Pretty cool place. Decent food and drinks. Staff is cool and customers are oh so hot. Mondays they have dollar tacos which are great but they sell out fast. They start selling at noon. Road rapers are good but they'll sneak up on you

Good for kids? Who ya kidding. Dont bring them. Its a bar. And a good one at that. If I only had a dollar for every brain cell I lost partying at this place. Been going here for years. See ya there this summer ! Try the Roadraper. Youll thank me for it. Dont drink and drive.

Such a fun place! The big stick drink is very good. They have fun music at night but it's a lot of fun to hang out in the water during the day. Many people bring their boats to the floating bar. The food was good too. Highly recommend going here if you are in Parker.

Good breakfast and lunch that you order right on the dock. Good stiff pores for the drinks and it is always a good time. A good way to spend a Parker. Morning.

Came here for breakfast on a Sunday and the wait to order food was insanely long! But we did it because we wanted to see what all the hype was about. The food wasn't anything exciting, but was decent enough to eat without dying. You can order your drinks with your breakfast to avoid waiting a LONG while for a drink at the bar next to the food order line. It took about an hour to actually get our food so don't come hungry. They only have one bartender making drinks (not sure why). and ALOT of people order drinks that take longer (aka Mudslides.. thank you A-hole in front of us) So if you're gonna buy a drink, maybe order 2 or 3 so you can at least have a drink while you wait to order. The bloody Mary's were small but decent. GREAT PRICES for everything though, you can't go wrong here with the prices! They have another somewhat hidden bar up top by the patio that opened after 11 and had no line, so that's probably your best bet for drinks! We'll be back because its a fun location, and a lot going on. Always crowded every time we drive by on the boat.

Stopped by here several times during Memorial Day 2015.... The notorious "Road Raper" drink was delicious. And definitely a creeper. Food took about an hour to make/serve...no surprise - as we were there for Memorial Day weekend. Good spot, they need to up their food prepping game.

LOVED this Yelp find! On our way back to Phoenix from a weekend trip in Lake Havasu, we pulled up Yelp to see what we could find to fill up our bellies before the long lonely trek back to the Valley. Pulled up a bit unsure, almost as if it might be a little sketchy or a locals only kind of place. So glad we fought the idea of heading down into the town of Parker. Such an awesome experience to actually sit on a floating restaurant docked on the Colorado River! I can see why they have so much loyalty and regulars who dine their. I would probably visit daily if I had a boat and cruised up and down that river all the time. Nothing like a burger and adult beverages out on the water, a nice breeze in the air, blue skies and sunshine raining down on you. I imagine the atmosphere and crowd is much different in the evenings and probably would not be my style, but for an afternoon lunch on the water, it was great. Had the burger with fries, which were both tasty. Cheap drinks as well. Almost felt a bit surreal that we were still in our home state of Arizona, dining on this beautiful river of water with boats pulling on up to the docks to grab some lunch. Not too many areas in the state with water after all. Extra bonus points for the Ohio State tip bucket on the bar of which with one of the bartenders is from the Eastern suburb of Columbus. Double high fives for the O-H! love. A native Ohioan always appreciates seeing that logo.

Went to Roadrunner on Saturday afternoon for some drinks..not very many peope so perfect to get a good table and fast service. But...wait! A waitress by the name of LANA was behind the bar along with another server. Sat at the bar to order..LANA walked back and forth a few times, noticing me with money in my hand waiting to get service. Not once did she ask me if I needed anything or at least , "Ill be right with you".nothing! With only 2 people at bar..the other bartender helping the other person and myself. My boyfriend laughing at the table watching! The other bartender then took my order after serving the other customerr. Tried this again..back up at bar and Lana walked up to where I was and she grabbed some glasses behind bar, yet again...nothing! Really.....customer service is your #1 priority, LANA! The 2 stars for the other bartender and the view. Sorry Roadrunner...Sundance will be our bar to go to.

Have been a fan for years, not sure what has changed. Either ownership, management or staff has lessened my desire to come here. Food and service are now pretty weak. Guess I need to head to Fox's, not sure. Someone that has a clue needs to get control of this place or give it up to someone that knows how to run a business. BTW, the second star was for the view, which they have yet to figure a way to screw up. Sorry, just keeping it real!

  • Lily R.

Christie was an awesome and patient bartender! Not from the area and she gave us the 411 of the area. We got souvenir cups of RoadRunners road rapers which was all we needed to feel a good buzz! We kept coming back for refills. Great time on the dock bar on a mellow winter night for the snow birds haha

I always stop at Roadrunner when I'm in Parker. Its a fun environment with inexpensive drinks. I've had the Roadraper a couple times and that would end my day. So strong but tastes so good. I would definitely recommend getting one, you also keep the cup. This year they had a neon pink one. The food really isn't anything special. I think all I've had are French fries there and what I've seen other people are the typical hamburgers and French fries. I really just go for the drinks, atmosphere and scenery. The Colorado River is beautiful.

Road Rapers! Drink one and done! :) Fun environment, good DJ and we had a blast!

  • Lea G.

ACTION!!! Boats zipping by and heavily drinking folk stumbling by!! You can't really ask for a better time!! The food is decent for river food and the Road Rapper...well, that you will just have to try and form your own opinion on (if you remember anything)!! Love this place!!

    (5)
  • Melissa D.

I love this bar! It's honestly how we start our mornings at the river! Breakfast and a bull raper :) and were set the whole day. Christina is an amazing bar tender we can't wait to come back for new years

    (5)
  • Amanda G.

First off let me say that this was one of the best bars I have ever been to and its a floating bar on the Colorado river! Talk about amazing!!!! The bar tenders were hot and the atmosphere was amazing... I loved the food. You absolutely have to have a famous Road raper and trust me when I say it will rape you!!!!

When a Yelper says: "This place was the coolest thing I have ever seen!" it really makes me sad for humanity. This is a dive bar on the river that's serving up mediocre food in a run down, whiskey tango environment -- if this is the coolest thing you've ever seen, then you really have to get out more. The service here is slow and the staff dim. We ordered a round of drinks for our table while waiting for the food. When asking for a Chardonnay, the bartender seriously asked in a bewildered tone: "is that wine?" Wow... I ordered the "Giant Cheeseburger," which is two patties side-by-side on a long roll, topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and thousand island. When my burger came out, I noticed that it was missing the cheese. I informed the server and she sent it back to the kitchen. A few moments later she called me back up to get my burger and it had two cold slices of cheddar cheese placed on the burger patty. I looked up at her and she goes "it's not melted." I'm like, "yay...I can see that." She proceeds to tell me that it's too difficult to deconstruct the "entire burger" and melt the cheese on the patty. At this point, I'm just staring at her with disappointment. You screwed the burger up, I paid for a cheeseburger -- I don't care how you make it happen -- cook up two new patties or something. She did offer to put the entire sandwich in the microwave though, so there's that. The rest of the restaurant is dirty and unkempt. You can tell there's zero put into cleanliness or repairs. Food was mediocre and the service awful. If you can't get the two stoners working the griddle to melt cheese on a burger, than you're restaurant really has problems.

Food drinks and waves is what is offered here. We came for the infmous "road raper" drink and it was found for $15. Served in a black plastic mug you take home it was full of alcahol and low on flavor. The view of he river is nice until you realize its narrow and the other side is just ugly. The most fun part is sitting on the edge, when a boat drives by you bob up and down.

    (3)
  • Dave E.

Excellent location on the River....drink and food specials, not cheap but OK. You just can't beat the view and if going on a weekend, expect a crowd. We had Fun!

    (4)
  • Ricky H.

I love to make this place one of my stops every time I hit the river if you get the chance throw a couple french fries in the water around the deck and you will see some super huge cat fish its kinda cool.

  • Christina S.

I have literally been going here every summer for my whole life !!! Amazing food, drinks, sun, fun and hotties !!! Their breakfast is to die for !!!!!!! I love the roadrunner and will continue the tradition with my family here every summer !!!

  • Craig N.

How to drink a "Road Raper": I prefer not to stir in the beginning, and just use the straw to drink from the bottom and get a light buzz first before getting to the top where the Everclear sits and makes everything really strong. Towards the bottom 1/3rd I stir with my straw and just pounding it straight from the mug :D They won't let you leave with one on a boat unless the mug is empty, so there you go!

  • Brad G.

Roadraper's - I have a love/hate relationship with them. Are they delicious? Hell yes they are! Are they dangerous? Holy mother of god, yes! After one, you think to yourself, "Self, that was so flippin' fantastic, I think I'll have another!" After two you realize how stupid you were to order the second one. Blind. Drunken. Stupor. Good times!

    (4)
  • Amy B.

This place is great... Drive your boat up and eat and drink. I ordered a huge omelet with every kind of veggie they had (it was very big)) and egg whites. I loved it! Drinks were perfect as we'll... Good job cant wait to come back

If you want to spend the weekend shaking your faith in humanity, there are few better places than Parker, Arizona, where girls have gone completely wild and tattoos outnumber humans at least six to one. Speaking of which, this bar is the first place I ever saw a swastika tattoo in person, which was almost as classy in real life as I had gathered from television. Anyway, plenty of the debauchery is directly attributable to Parker's signature cocktail, the delicately named Road Raper, which is served right here at the Roadrunner. The price tag is three to four times that of your average cocktail but it buys you a giant plastic mug chock full of rum and red stuff and Everclear and a flashy light, which together serve as a substantial factor in all bad decisions made within a 15 mile radius. But limiting the discussion of the Roadrunner to that of a bar isn't doing it justice... there's the floating bar/restaurant, the beach/dock area, and the boom boom room upstairs which I have to imagine is the biggest dance club in town. There are grizzly locals relaxing, families eating food, and people shitfaced well before lunch. In sum, something for everyone, like that place Pinocchio and his buddies got stuck. Imagine the 909 area code transported to the Mexican coast and there you have it. With testimony like that, you know you can't go wrong.

Roadrunner is awesome and must be visited if you travel this way. I'm not too familiar with their night life, but I've been there for breakfast lots and lots of times. While their omelets are good, I'm more of a skier sandwich person myself: fried egg with bacon and avo all on toasted white bread. Mmm. Also, seemings that it is the river, having cocktails with breakfast is not unheard of. The road rapers DEFINITELY sneak up on you, but if you prefer to savor the drink and remember the rest of the night (or day), I recommend asking for a "baby" road raper, which they will give you in an 8 oz cup like regular cocktails. They have a little beach too, so if you come this way with kids they have lots of fun hanging out while waiting for their kiddie coyotes (great kid's menu breakfast) to cook.

I love Roadrunner, nothing like getting up in the early morning and taking your boat to breakfast. Sometimes while at work I am day dreaming of Parker and of course Roadrunner always comes to mind. I must say they have the greatest breakfast, be sure to get the biscuits with gravy and their potatoes, I promise you won't go wrong, but get someone to share with you if you are not a big eater... Many special memories here with lots of friends. Mudslide best on the Parker Strip. The music I must say may confuse you as one side of bar is playing country and the other side is playing rock and roll at the same time. My friends and I left one night asking ourselves our we a little bit country or rock and roll... we felt like we became split personality's lol lol but all in all a very good night...

This place was the coolest thing I have ever seen! My buddy brought me out to the river on his boat and you can just roll up, dock your boat and go straight to the party. I highly recommend their signature drink, The RoadRaper.

  • Jason H.

Very disappointed to day the least! We stopped in for a road raper hoping to catch a good buzz! Haven been to roadrunner in a couple years, man has this place gone down hill. The bar smelled like rotten cheese, the dock is in shambles! The worst part is our roadrapers didn't have any alcohol! My light weight drinking wife pounded a whole raper and did t even catch a buzz!!!

I feel the need to write an update, because in January, we went to the Roadrunner off season and at night, for the first time ever! And, it's a much different experience then the typical afternoon in the summertime. We made the last minute decision to head over to the Roadrunner for New Years Eve this year. We headed over to the bar early to grab a bite to eat, and had the most delicious tri-tip sandwiches! The bar was pretty empty, aside from some locals.. but after 9pm people started to show up. After a few drinks at the downstairs bar, we headed upstairs to the pool hall / dance floor -which I never knew existed! About an hour later the place was packed, and the DJ was playing great dance music. We had such a fun time, and will most likely be returning next New Years for some more Roadrunner goodness!

  • Daniel W.

I'm docking them one star for the smell emanating from behind the bar. They need a good scrub down to fix it. Having worked at a bar once upon a time, it isn't impossible to keep it clean. Other than that, good times. Bathroom is about a mile away and you need a map and a compass. People are almost always friendly, well except the less-than-endowed guys with the $200k boats...hey look on the bright side, your plastic trophy wife really loves you...no really!

  • Kookie D.

Roadrunner has been a tradition for many years. Last night was the last time for us. There were HUGE roaches running up and down the docks! Bartender had last call @11:15p so the bug guy could come, we were still there at 2a... Still no bug guy. There were only 5 other people in the bar besides our group and it took two hours and a police officer to get back my friend's stolen phone. Pretty disappointing. Not worth the drive from Havasu only to have to have our group spread out to many tables to be able yo keep our feet off the ground to avoid the roaches. Nasty. I am glad I've never eaten there!

    (1)
  • Chuck A.

.., we've passed this place everytime we were on our way to Lake Havasu. My buddy Chris & I came here one yr. & we had ourselves a booze fest. We were smashed already upon arrival so we walked in like regulars. Definately a summer bar. It floats so if you're belligerent, the rocking of the dock may cause you to fall off. I almost did when I was singing a favorite song & decided not to use my legs anymore while I was standing up. Don't ask. I didn't even know this place was a restaurant? Another cool thing is that you can pull up in a Sea Doo at their back entrance since the river is literally their backyard. Good times all around, don't forget your flip flops!

  • Alby P.

Four starts because it's fun, and the food above average for the river. The Road Rapers have been tamed a bit but still available. Mostly the under 35 crowd, so that means lots of fist fights here. Fox's Floating bar up river rarely has trouble, an above 30 crowd and a different menu if that suites you better. Fights are usually over a woman, amongst relatives or friends in their own group, or often a drunk "local" talking smack to visitors - thus gets smacked. Deservingly so. Talk shit, get hit. Some talk the WHOLE floating bar will soon be replaced with a new one hence the temp maint and repairs. If you tie your boat up to the dock you run the risk of being hit by a departing or arriving boat,, happens all the time.

  • Eric J.

Cool floating bar! Sits right on the river. Fun atmosphere and great crowd. I was there during the afternoon but could imagine it gets pretty hopping at night. I had a burger and fries, and it wasn't bad at all. Could even have it on a wheat bun. Road the motocycle here and found numerous others with the same idea here. I'll be heading back.

The first weekend of October is what my boys and i affectionately refer to as "The River". every year, for a few years now, we make a guys-only trek out to Parker Az. for some serious, outright drunken debauchery. we set up camp at a river-side location and spend the days soaking in the sun, fishing in the river, and napping in and out of our tents. as soon as we start to see long shadows, and the sky turns a pale red from the setting sun, the bottle of Wild Turkey is unleashed and the festivities begin. we drink a few shots and pound a few beers, but the fact of the matter is that our night is completely centered on making the long walk down the rivers edge, to Roadrunner's. this little dive of a place is a floating, shanty-like, haven for thirsty river-goers seeking tasty libations and good times. the first time i made this trek i was unsure of what to expect. the boys spoke of this mythical concoction called a "RoadRaper" and its powerful effects on one's sense of balance, and speed of speech. i had already had a few drinks and was nursing a great buzz when i stepped foot on the gently swaying platform that housed the Bar. my good pal grabbed me by the shoulders and said "dont worry bro, the bar IS moving, its not just you." so i ponied up to the bar, slapped down my palm and proudly proclaimed, "One Roadraper, please." the kind bartender lady smiled and winked at me, before spinning around, scooping ice into a large plastic mug, and starting to pour multiple bottles of liquor into it. she covered the liquor with a pink liquid that came out of a large sports jug spigot, and then pulled out the grand finale, a bottle of Everclear. she gracefully spun a ring of clear liquid fire onto the top of my drink, and slid it right in front of me. the plastic mug had a little flashing light built into the bottom and gave it a dramatic effect . she smiled again and told me "is this your first Raper? if it is, make sure you stir it up real good, and, take your time, hunny.". im normally not a mixed-drink kinda guy. sure there was a time when i danced with a few "Audios Mother's" but this drink was a work of art. it tasted like a fruity lemonade with a hint of firebreath. the Jukebox has a wonderful selection, and the boys and i spent hours sitting in the bar crooning to Flogging Molly, and Dropkick Murphys. and when the RoadRapers began to run low, we threw our arms around each others shoulders and swayed to classics like Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" and "Dont Stop Believing" by Journey. a better night of drinking, i had never had. the security guys are super cool, and would rather offer a hug, than a curse in any situation. drunk and happy, the boys and i stumbled back toward camp. somehow, we all made it back the near 1/2 mile walk, fell into our camp chairs around the fire pit and all felt very content with our place in the world at that moment. a roaring fire, the best friends a guy could ask for, and good music. all crucial ingredients to River-Happiness. the Monday after we get back to civilization, we all call each other and say the same thing..362 days until the river, 362 days.... love goes out to Russel, RIP. and Full Throttle his dog, the greatest dog, in the entire world. oh and as of the writing of this review, 122 days.....but who's counting?

Another floating bar just on the other end of Fox's. I have only been here during the day and their table seating reminded me of a high school outdoor lunch area. It accommodates big groups who need a large table. I heard music but I think it was coming from the house in the back. I could be wrong at that point I had already had a few drinks. :P

  • Dave V.

I spend most weekends during summer at the river. The breakfast is a great way to start a day on the water. The Road Rapper is dangerous. I don't suggest dinner but it is a great place to have a drink and watch the river and the river nuts.

  • Jade Z.

I prefer Fox's to Roadrunner, but maybe that's because I've never had a road raper! the food is average, there were cockroaches in the game room when I went.

  • Meg M.

I am NOT a light weight! But after one "Road Raper" cocktail... I don't remember much...except this dive bar is basically a dock in the middle of the Colorado River...with a lot of greasy food and STRONG ASS drinks (rumor has it the Road Raper's are made with Everclear.... ) Days later... I think I am STILL drunk!

To close out my summers I always come to Parker Arizona. Great place to take out the toys, meet cool people, and relax without the hassles of craziness that come with Havasu. That being said one of my favorite spots on this great 16 mile run of the river is Roadrunners floating bar, goos times are always had, bartenders are always friendly, even the locals treat you well as long as you dont become a drunk A**. Their drinks are out of this world especially the RoadRaper- be careful with that one!!! Its a great place to stop by while going up or down the river for a break and a cold one. Until next year my dear friend RoadRunner!

OK its Sunday and I have nothing to do. So I'm having flash blacks of places I've been too and this place popped up in my head. The place is pretty cool its right alongside the river we docked in on a boat. I was on the California side of Parker dam. I believe I order a steak and it was good. There was tons of flies and drunken people I wasn't drunk because i was still a minor and out with the ex-girlfriends family ha ha but that part of the story i will cut short. Overall I wanna go back now that I'm of age. the place was an absolute blast being out on the river all of summer really cool.

  • Del O.

This place was great. Went there twice, once by car and once by boat. Both ways were convenient. I think it's such a cool concept to be able to drive your boat up, dock, get a drink or a bite to eat, then get back on your boat and drive away!! So cool! Now couple that with great service, good food, and awesome drinks. Wow, what a great combination!! Even if you don't have a boat, it's still a treat to stop off here. You can have a drink and something to eat right on the river! I will definitely go back again the next time I'm in Parker.

I am finding a common thread amongst the other reviewers of this place which seems to be that visits here are a blur. All I know is that I had not one, but TWO freaking Road Rapers and remember most of which occured only through unfortunate photographic evidence. A few highlights: 1. I flashed my boobs or at least the photos tell me that I did. God knows how many people are running around with my boobies on their camera phones. And I'm pretty sure there was some total WEIRDO with a video camera there who claimed it was "off" so I may or may not be appearing on an upcoming Girls Gone Wild video. Yay Me! 2. I was randomly licking people. To the guy with the Eagle tattoo, I am so very sorry. I don't know your name, but licking you seemed like a good idea at the time. 3. I climbed in some random guy's boat to take a look at a painting on the side of it that he claimed looked "just like me". Yes, she was blond, but what was depicted on that boat was pretty much the skankiest skank in skanktown. Thank you sir, I am flattered. 4. My fabulous friend took a digger off the dock and was rescued by Natalie L. and two random guys. Thank God her large breasts acted as some sort of flotation device and propelled her arms skyward where they were promptly grabbed by the heroic Natalie. Friendy friend had some amazing bruises. Happy Birthday to her!!! 5. I was too busy to rescue said friend because I was making out with some poor bastard I decided to make my bitch. Ladies and Gentlemen, that is only a random sampling. No river trip could ever be truly considered epic unless you get yourself to this establishment and make an ass out of yourself off of Road Rapers.

low quality of food such as cold fries, not a spot for nonsmokers, hole in the wall place. the only great thing is the friendly blonde bartender. they should send the chef or the owner to an upscale restaurants and teach them how food should look and taste like.

pull up your water vessel and enjoy a large plastic mug of this concoction called the road raper... brilliant. a 190 proof everclear shot and 3 or 4 other alcohols. how the hell could u go wrong with that. put a long island or long beach iced tea to shame... played hick music on the jukebox which was surprisingly a newer version. there was a john oats caterpillar stache, jaromir jagger hockey hair, perm mullet having, addidas sweatpants wearing creeper petting the sh_t out of his dog staring at everyone else that didnt have a perm mullet. in his own world but provided much material to end this review. good job tom selleck stache, tears for fears hair... guy was walking around sketched out on something... thats someone u really wanna have a good talk with... yah no.
