We shared fajitas. They were adequate but nothing to write home about. The service was good, they kept the chips and salsa full! , but it took quite a while to get our food. Nonetheless a good option in Page.

delicious food and margaritas. giving you only 4 starts because of a stupid waiter who first refused to put rice and bean on a separate plate (was supposed to be in burrito), then he called another waiter who gave me the weirdest look. after 5 min. conversation why i want rice and bean on another plate he said ok.

This place is really friendly and the food is authentic. I ordered the enchilada mole and it was HUGE. It came with rice and beans and the plate was the size of my torso. The enchilada was good, but it was a little weird that they put carrots and celery in their chicken. The service was really quick and they always refilled our salsa and chips and water. If you are thirsty, get the margarita because it was GINORMOUS and had great reviews from my friends. The nachos also looked good.

How many Mexican restaurant review do you see on my yelp? 1? May be 2... so I'm obviously not crazy about Mexican food but this place... it wowed me. First... the chips are so fresh... try not to keep refilling 20 times because they will love to do so. Second, for someone that doesn't drink much... the margarita is very good... I like the blended one cause it's not as strong. Then comes entrée... I order something called something La Diabla... it's shrimp and skirt steak with spicy sauce... and goodness... that was good Mexican food I never had in civilization of the bay area. However, I should have listened to other reviewers to try the fajita... they pour some stuff on it and made flame go like 4 ft high... it's quite a scene and it smells hack of good... Must try!

If I wanted horse meat, I would have asked for horse meat. Don't let the $$ fool you. $14.95 for a horse meat "Fiesta" burrito hardly stuffed with meat, rice, no beans, runny sauce, wilted shredded lettuce as a garnish and where the hell was my flag on the tooth pick like in the photo? Service was only adequate for a slow evening and the "over"staffed place needs to understand, you've got time to lean, you've got time to clean. The place was fairly empty and the 7 of us got sat in a corner away from everybody when they could have sat us in the bar.

Autherntic Mexican with menu offeringsbthat go WAY beyond tacos and enchiladas. The salsa and Guacamole alone are worth a return trip. I highly reccomed this place and will be back. I had arroz con camerone. It was to die for. The atmoshoere and service were fantastic, but the food was absolutely, hands down, the best Mexican I have ever had in a restaraunt north of the border.

Massive, massive portions. And they give you free salsa and chips (they'll keep bringing it so don't worry about asking for more!) There were 3 of us, were ordered 2 dishes and it was still wayyyyy too much food to finish. Fantastic food, fantastic drinks. Guacamole was especially fresh. I had to knock down a star because the steak in our dish was really tough, still edible, but just not great. Great service. If you're in Page, check this place out!

Waiting our food coming out from kitchen for over 45 mins. Margarita was made from margarita mix. Not fresh. Salsa was very spicy. Not only us but all other tables around us were waiting for loooong time. If you can wait sipping your drinks with tortilla chips, this place is o.k for you.

Great Place! Greeted with a friendly hostess and sat a table for two right away. Soon as we sat down our server asked what kind of drinks and returned within a few mins with chips and salsa. We ordered the Beef fajitas, Colorado Burrito, and a Coronita. The wait for the food took a while. Our chips and salsa were refilled about three times before we received our food. The plates are super hot and the fajita skillet was still sizzling(so be careful). Besides the food and the drinks the only problem is the wait.

I thought this place was just okay. It's probably one of the better restaurants compared to what's available but in my opinion it wasn't that great as everyone else said. I got the raspberry margarita and it wasn't sweet at all, just sour and barely had any alcohol in it. For dinner I tried the steak fajitas and they were extremely underseasoned so I had to add alot of salt and pepper to taste anything. Kinda pricy for what you get. Overall it was just mehhhh

Pretty good mexican food. Service was fast and chips and salsa were endless. I had the taco platter. Chicken was great.

Stopped here after checking out some of the reviews here on Yelp during a super long road trip across the country. Apparently, at least in some parts of Arizona, there's a law against having dogs in outdoor seating areas of restaurants. Which seems a little ridiculous considering leaving a dog in a vehicle is like certain death for them most of the year in this state. However, Fiesta Mexicana allowed us to have our two dachshunds with us on their patio for lunch! Service was quick and friendly and the food was quite delicious. We may have to stop here again next time we are in the area!

We got there late during our epic seat of our pants road trip with the kiddies. The table was dirty, and but no biggie. I went to the car and grabbed my Clorox wipes and did a job better than they would have anyway. No big deal, we were in vacation mode, "everyting was gonna be alright mon..." The chips and salsa came right away. They were 'Ok'. I like mine hot, thin and greasy, and these weren't any of the above...just "meh". It took forever for them to take our drink order. Fresh out of Shirley Temples, I settled on a coke. It took another forever to get our food ordered. Once the food arrived, again, "meh", until my son (8 years old) started tearing up a bit because his child taquitos had severely burnt edges (the shredded beef was pitch black on both ends) and they had piled it high with guacamole, sour cream, tomatoes and all the mushy stuff "kids" don't like. Listen, every parent knows when kids order taquitos, they want a crunchy tortilla with meat and maybe cheese and that's it! We tried to "fix" it for our son, but he wasn't having it, it was already too mushy, so we politely asked the waiter's assistant to return it and get him another one, but he said the kitchen was closed. Ok, fine, we asked for it to be removed from our bill and we'd all share our food with him. When our actual waiter came back it was clear that he was furioso. He bailed to our table in his authentic white cotton mariachi blouse and huge black bow and stared at us. He immediately asked us what the problem was. We told him the taquitos had quacamole and sour cream and our son didn't like it, and the edges were burnt. He told us "You ordered a taquito and this is how it comes! It comes with guacamole and it says so in the menu"! He went on and on so I stopped him and said, Ok, let's leave the guacamole issue alone...it's still BURNT. He paused for a bit then said, No, it's NOT burnt. I said calmly, yes, it is and we don't want it. He repeated himself even more aggressively, then hubby chimed in and said "Enough, we don't want it, remove it from the bill and that's IT". The waiter stormed off without a word. I wanted him to cool off, so after a few minutes, I went to find him. (NOTE: See, we are not from around these parts, and we handle issues like this quite differently, but with respect to this town, we digressed.) I found him inside speaking Spanish to another employee. I grabbed a menu and showed him that the KIDS taquito did NOT say anything about any toppings. He looked at it, and didn't have a leg to stand on (it was obvious by then, that he accidentally ordered the adult taquito, but I didn't say anything lol). I then told him I didn't appreciate how MEAN he was when he approached us. I even told him it wasn't HIS fault that the item had guacamole and was burnt unless he also is the CHEF [so no need to get his pantalones in a bunch!] Dude, you can't pay some folks to get a clue on customer service these days. We paid our bill and left. Maybe it was an "off night", but they won't see us again and will probably not want to!

Large portions, friendly service, inexpensive, typical tex mex.

Stopped here with my family for lunch. This time I ordered the Burrito Supreme. My wife had a "pick two" combo with a taco and chimi. My daughter had a hamburger. I won't speak on the burger because it's a typical burger. My wife enjoyed her combo meal and ate the majority of it. The food was definitely plentiful. I also must say that her plate looked more appetizing than mine and mine looked good. My burrito supreme looked good as I said. However I would have to rate it as mediocre. The shredded beef was bland. It was juicy, but bland. The tortilla tasted soggy as if it had been microwaved or frozen and then thawed. The red sauce on it unfortunately tasted like an overly peppered (black pepper) ketchup. The beans were the star of my plate along with the guacamole. Previously I had come here and ordered the burrito verde, which I do admit was quite good, but also shared the tortilla issue. Overall, it was good though. I can't say this is near the top of my favorite Mexican food places, but it is also far from the bottom. I'm sure I'll be back at some point in the future.

Went here twice during our 3-night stay in Page, AZ. We planned to try other places in town, however they were either closed for the season (Bonkers) or did not open for the night (DC's Backyard BBQ). It's on the main street in downtown Page and the parking lot can be a little bit crowed during dinner hours. The food portion here is huge, my wife and I shared the pork carnitas during our first visit and it was very tasty. I liked the burnt, crunchy and chewiness of the carnitas, and the jalapenos sauce adds the right kick to the dish. During our second visit, I ordered the fish taco (Taco de Pescado). It was the best fish taco I've had in a while. Instead of frying the fish, they lightly grilled it and it was very tender and soft. The decor is a little bit outdated but the overall atmosphere was very good, and the waiters are very nice. Oh, it also has WIFI, which is a plus.

  • Megan N.

What?! The margaritas are so strong that maybe my review isn't objective. Because I'm sloshed on 1.5 margaritas. The fajitas plate for two was immense and delicious. Not enough tortillas, but there never are with fajita platters. I'm from a town 3 miles north of the border in Texas, and I know my Mexican food. The rice was not very authentic, but the refried beans were good, and the skirt steak for the fajitas well marinated. I did have to ask for a bowl of fresh jalepenos to kick up my tacos, which was provided by staff with only the slightest puzzled look. The service was fantastic and if I lived in Page, I would be a regular, and apparently regularly drunk of my butt.

Great Mexican food. Cool outdoor porch seating. Nachos were huge. Also got the fajita salad which was good.

  • Tom M.

Attentative service, stiff, very sweet margaritas, large portions and good food sums up the only Mexican place worth trying in Page. Our food did take quite some time to come out, but the tables outside made up for it - nice setting. There's no doubt the drinks are stiff. We both found them to be quite sweet too - both the Caddilac, and i forgot the name of their marg w/ the mini Corona suspended in it. Chips and salsa are absolutely average.

  • Cynthia M.

Festive restaurant with okay food. Nothing great, but I don't think there are many options in this area, so it is acceptable enough. We had the beef tamal, prawn fajitas and pork tacos. The meat in the tamal was flavorful but the corn tamal itself was a bit dry. The prawn fajitas should have been described as mushroom fajitas with a few prawn thrown in since the dish was taken over by all the mushrooms in Arizona. The pork tacos were decent but would have fared better with a bit of lime for freshness. Rice and beans were satisfactory, but overall a pretty forgettable meal. If I ever happened to back in the area, I would give somewhere else a try instead.

  • Elizabeth S.

Not bad. Huge portions. But they are definitely stretching the word "authentic" here. Was expecting my veggie burrito to have peppers, onions, beans, cheese, maybe mushrooms, perhaps corn but inside was like the mixed frozen veggies you get at the grocery store. It had carrots, corn, green beans, peas, and edamame. Also had onions and ONE slice of bell pepper. They forgot to put the beans inside so the served them on the side. That was probably the best part and closest to "authentic".

  • Derek W.

Food is nothing special and portions were small. Garbage stacked outside in the parking area.

  • Gustavo S.

Awesome Mexican food, margaritas are killer, watch out and don't have more than 2 or you'll be on the floor. Order the flaming fiesta combo, with shrimp, steak and chicken. They light it up in front of your table and everyone turns and stares.

  • Priyank S.

Awesome cheesy Quesadilla, fiesta burrito and do order drinks they are too good

We really enjoyed our dinner here!! Good chips and salsa options, warm decor and comfy booths. Good, friendly service and quick too. We enjoyed the fajitas for 2-yummy!! Our dd got the Kid's cheeseburger which was huge, and tasty, our other dd got the kid's bean burrito which she also enjoyed. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Page!

  • Peg P.

This is a nice sit-down restaurant with pretty good food. I ordered a combo dish that, while tasty, arrived only lukewarm. Is there anything worse than lukewarm food meant to be hot? I mentioned it to our server and he apologized. This, plus the fact our food took a while to arrive, makes me give them only 3 stars. Perhaps on another visit things will be better. My partner enjoyed a veggie burrito that she gives a 4 star rating. The chips were warm and plentiful and the salsa was good.

    (3)
  • Anand S.

A little pricey for the town it is in, but some of the food tasted good. It definitely is one of the better eating options in Page.

  • Lucy M.

Good food, friendly service -- a great place to relax after a day on Lake Powell.

We had the flaming fiesta, which iis combination fajitas and they were very good. I was also very happy with my trip to Margaritaville.

  • Kate G.

No good. Don't go. Page is a small town but has better restaurants. The nachos came out soggy and the meal was bland and dry. The complementary chips and salsa tasted burnt, they were probably going for smoky but missed the mark.

  • Diana K.

NO service. The hostess sat us, and we waited for over 30 minutes for the waitress to take our order. Each time she walked by the table we tried to ask her to take the order, and she kept sticking her finger up to say "wait". Have no idea how the food is, but since the place wasn't busy we didn't wait any longer. RUDE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT.

  • Shattered T.

The service was okay, prices aren't too bad, but the food is mediocre at best.

Good family owned mexican restaurant. If you are in page this is worth a try. decent sized meal with a fair price for a tourist location. Place could use a interior update but if you come for food only this is ur place.

  • Ed W.

I live in Tucson where you can't swing a gato muerto without hitting a Mexican restaurant. I'm very well versed in various types. This is excellent standard Mexican food. There are even some imaginative specials which we didn't try, but sounded great. We sampled chicken tacos, chimi, and enchiladas. The chicken was nicely seasoned rather than the bare cooked chicken you get in most. Refried beans were good, chips and salsa great. Salsa has a slightly smokey flavor. Service couldn't be more attentive...good people , good food. Best restaurant we tried in Page.

  • Alex H.

great place to eat in page and open until 10pm. the portions are huge and the food was yummy! the shrimp was pretty good along with everything else. the food was cooked nicely. service was good, and the chips and salsa were very good.

  • M. V.

Everything was good! Except there were so many customers on the day we went, we had to wait for some time, but worth the waiting. plus the manager gave us discount for that! very nice!

  • Kathryn O.

Loved this place - the service was prompt but not pushy, and our waiter made some helpful recommendations. The steak and shrimp special and the burrito verde were awesome, and if we weren't moving on in our travels, we would totally head back there again tonight!

  • Kristie W.

Was here last year & it was good. This year not so much. Service was terrible. Starting from the hostess, all the way to the end of the meal. Food was just ok. Not sure we'd go back.

If you'd have talked to me about 10 years ago, I would have given this place 5 stars. When they opened their doors, they put all the Mexican Restaurants in Page to shame, and even put 1 out of business (remember Dos Amigos anybody?). Their food was good and plentiful (and even featured some unusual items, that you didn't normally see in Arizona), their prices were reasonable and the service was great. Now, I think they've become victims of their own overconfidence. They're pretty much the only game in town when it comes to sit-down Mexican restaurants so they're definitely not putting forth the effort they used to. When we visited back in April, the food took a long time to get served, when it arrived it was too salty, my husband's fajitas were way too smoky and they omitted the bell peppers. The waiters and busboys were their usual courteous and attentive selves (many of them are long-time employees, which is nice to see), but even their smiling faces could not mask the fact that the quality of their food has gone way downhill. If we hadn't been starving from the 7 hour drive from Evanston WY to Page, we might have walked out. As ol' BB King likes to say, "the thrill is gone."

  • Dre R.

Every hotel recommends this place. Why?!? The greeter was hot enough, but the food (as mentioned by Peg P. below) was not. It's like they line up all the plates, put beans and rice on them, and then add the rest later. I sent the first iteration back, and the second one was also only lukewarm. Attempt #3, a side order enchilada, took about an hour to receive. The waiter really did try hard, and for that, this place gets 2 instead of 1 star (and for him a decent tip). I won't be going back, and I advise you to skip it, too.

    (2)
  • KAB C.

The food was pretty good and the margaritas better. The service was prompt and friendly but the prices are a little high which is what holds it to 3 stars.

    (3)
  • Cindy N.

Omg!!! This place is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to! Margaritas were strong, salsa was just spicy enough, beans and rice were awesome and the steak and shrimp and chili verde was amazing!!! Love love love it! No parking, that sucks, but otherwise perfecto!

    (5)
  • Marco K.

Very nice. Great interior, real fiesta feeling. The waiter was excellent and friendly. The food was outstanding and the plates were packed. Best Mexican restaurant in town!

  • Kirsten D.

Went to this place twice during business trip last week and I'm giving a loose 3 stars. The first visit was excellent, the second visit was horrible (hence the middle of the road rating) First visit I had prawn fajitas and a cadillac margarita. Both were great. The fajita serving had 6 large prawn, tons of onions/peppers, and a side of rice, beans, etc. The margarita was very good and very strong. The wait staff was friendly and fairly attentive (by Page AZ standards). The chips and salsa were great. I like very hot salsa so I also got the habenero salsa, the flavor was meh, but it brought the heat I was looking for. The second visit I ordered a lunch combo of shredded beef taco and cheese enchilada. The taco came drenched in meat grease coupled with enchilda sauce. It was so soggy, it just drooped out of my hand...IICCKKK!!!! The cheese enchilada was cold and the cheese was coagulated...even IICCKKIER!!!! The service was horrible and I finally had to get up to find a waiter to get my check. It was painful to have to pay for such a crummy meal. So, maybe when I'm there next month for work, I'll see if the 3rd time is a charm....the salsa and marg's are pretty darn good and I don't think there's a lot of choices in the small town!

    (3)
  • Maura K.

Great tasting food, beautiful, colorful patio, and entertaining servers playfully pushing tequila at noon made for a nice lunchtime visit. Dined there several years ago and it was also good. (that's why i returned) Only problem for me is that the portions are TOO BIG!

  • Red Tail H.

Taste amplification: it's what happens after you've been outdoors all day, hiking or driving or being whipped around by the vicious local sandstorms. Taste amplification typically takes a mediocre place, and makes it seem so much better. It's also the reason why this place seemed for a few moment better than the mediocre, run of the mill, Mexican place this is. The pricing was reasonable, but the food was just ok. The beans were too salty, the rice was bland, the salsa was slightly too spicy, the enchilada sauce just was... My bright spot of the meal was my virgin pina colada, which was heavy on the coconut - just the way I like it. The service started out slow, and was never more than acceptable. They were quite busy - and I took that into account - but it still took quite a long time for us to have a waiter come and talk with us. I feel no need to ever come back.

    (2)
  • Scott B.

Pretty good. Nice lunch menu. Perfect size portion for lunch. Got the shredded beef burrito it was good. Came with rice and re fried beans.

    (4)
  • Bill G.

Fiesta Mexicana offers a huge menu full of all the Mexican-American standards. Flavors were only so-so. The meat and enchiladas were a bit dry. Rice and beans weren't worth eating, not that they're anything more than cheap filler at most Mexican restaurants anyway. The restaurant is large and clean, making it family friendly. The front patio is a great place to knock back a few drinks on a warm evening.

    (3)
  • Jeri X.

Fiesta Mexicana isn't bad, but isn't fantastic either. For a small town, it's alright. On a Sunday night, and the restaurant was packed. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated, and as we waited again for our food, they brought us fresh tortilla chips and very spicy salsa. It took so long for our food to arrive, but that's probably just because they were busy. I tried both the Carne Asada and the Fiesta Especial. The latter was average -- it's supposed to come with beef, chicken, and shrimp but there were 3 shrimp and hardly any trace of beef or chicken. It was mostly sauce and bell peppers, and lots of beans and rice. I definitely don't recommend this entree, which by itself gets 1.5 stars. The Carne Asada was slightly better. Again, lots of beans and rice came with it, plus guacamole. There was a good amount of skirt steak, but it was overcooked, and lukewarm, while the beans were scalding hot. The servers were very nice and attentive, but the food was lacking in quality.

after hiking the GRAND CANYON We hit this great place we shared the Fiesta Fajita Platter - (Steak, Shtimp & Chicken) and also had some Chicken Taquitos. THEY WERE PERFECT CHIPS AND SALSA WERE GOOD AND THE MARGARITAS WERE PERFECT ENJOY!

  • Jill M.

After a long day of driving we looked on Yelp and found Fiesta Mexicana. It was a delight! We ate outside in the cool, bright evening. The service was super attentive and we five all enjoyed our dinners. we Great chips and salsa and the margaritas were exceptional. We had a lot of fun and were rejuvenated by the experience!

  • Sarah L.

I am giving this restaurant 5 stars purely on service alone. There is nothing like getting off the lake, tired and hungry and being greeted by friendly wait staff. I wish there were more places like this in Page. I am a connoisseur of Mexican food so I won't rave that the food is unique and out of this world, buy they do serve a great meal. The chips and salsa are yummy and the prices are very affordable for what you get. I usually get combination platters and mix it up each time - tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, tamales - you name it! They definately don't skimp on the portions. I also love that it's casual enough to sit out on the patio in a sundress and flip flops during the summer. Just don't forget the margarita!

    (5)
  • C L.

Great food, friendly staff, festive decor! Highly recommend. We were looking for a place to have a quick dinner and found ourselves at Fiesta. We liked it so much that we came back the next night! The food was authentic Mexican and was delicious--we tried various enchiladas, as well as this 'dinner for two' that included beef, chicken, and shrimp--they light it on fire when they bring it to you (a fun show, and we took pictures of course!). The guacamole was delicious. Very large portion sizes--we had leftovers both nights--so the prices are reasonable for what you get. The staff was very happy and friendly, joked around, and were very relaxed. A great place for everyone!

    (5)
  • Chukki S.

Average Mexican food. The service was turtle slow and when we finally did get our food it wasn't worth the wait. It would have been cool to sit out on their patio as it looked nice, but they didn't give us the option for some reason. Never again.

    (2)
  • Liang W.

Surprised on how good the food and service were. Large serving size / fresh & tasty food. If you're in Page for nearby tours, this is a great place for dinner!

  • Joe H.

Good luck finding a place to eat in Page. I looked for another Mexican restaurant that was reviewed on Yelp and could not find it (out of business?) so we settled for this one. My wife could not finish her enchilada and the cheese on the quesadilla was bad. We should have stopped after the chips, salsa and margarita. Was glad to move on to Austin, Texas and some good Mexican food.

    (2)
  • Rebecca S.

the staff is friendly and competent. the busboy deserves special mention ... he was happy to get drinks and refill the (free) chips and salsa, which was hella spicy. the food sucks. yes, i am from phoenix, and yes, i prefer authentic mexican food, but i'm really not that picky when i'm in page. and seriously, the food here sucked. the bar doesn't stock tonic water. the prices are crazy high. oh and the next day we were completely regretting eating here after a vicious form of stomach distress plagued g before we hiked wire pass.

  • Emmanuel B.

Let's face it: Page,AZ is not known for its food and probably never will. I think i tried every single restaurant in town and Fiesta Mexicana was the only one OK (not very good, but at that point OK was great!)

    (3)
  • Darin B.

Good food Good service a tad pricey, salsa was a little warm for the kids. Resrooms smell bad. For Page, food was above average.

    (3)
  • Joseph C.

Service was fantastic. Portions large. Food was very good, although nothing particularly unusual. Like many who have written here, complimentary chips and salsa were excellent. One turn-off was that extra-thick margarita glasses made drinks look larger than they actually were. Parking is also horrible.

    (4)
  • Jeff F.

Chips and Salsa were Good. That was it.... Flys watched every move you made My daughters Shrimp Burrito stunk when it came out, and the shrimp weren't cleaned. How 'bout a poop vein for ya?!?!?!? Manager said " that is the way we prepare all our shrimp" GROSS! Enchiladas were like out of a frozen dinner, rice was like eating instant white rice with some red color in it. As a annual visitor to Page, this place used to be decent many years, but I will no longer visit.

    (1)
  • Carolyn B.

This is a great family restaurant with a very friendly atmosphere. The service is awesome, the food is wonderful, and the margaritas are the best I've ever had! We make an annual trip to Lake Powell each August and Fiesta Mexicana is always part of our dinner plans. For folks who complain about a long wait...that's only when it's extremely crowded during high tourist season, and the reason it's crowded is because it is excellent!

    (5)
  • Chad S.

Friendly service, ok food, some of our tables food wasn't very hot. Super long wait time. Close to one hour from the time we ordered before food came.

    (3)
  • Jen C.

We stopped here with our kids on a quiet Saturday night in the off season. The menu has plenty of choices, the wait staff was helpful, courteous and attentive, which is not always the case when you dine with children! The food was good and we will be back as we pass through town.

    (4)
  • Bob K.

Went back to the restaurant and as usual, food was great! My friend had the burrito verde and I had the burrito colorado. Salsa is still delicious and the waiters there were friendly. Definitely go back again when I stay in Page, Arizona for some flyfishing in the Colorado River (Lees Ferry).

On vacation in Page, 5 of us went here. 2 of us insisted we were eating Mexican food in AZ, the other 3 swore they don't like Mexican food and went begrudgingly. - 4 out of 5 wanted to go back for lunch the next day. - 2 of the 3 that don't like Mexican, have agreed to go to another Mexican restaurant on this trip. - 5 out of 5 tried really hard to finish because it was so good, but we just couldn't... the portions were huge. The fajitas were excellent. The service was so good it was almost annoying. I don't like rice but I wanted more. Can't say enough great things - the only negative was the collage of Laura Bush visits the restaurant pictures on the wall. Just block your eyes when you walk in and you'll have a great meal.

You know you've hit a good restaurant when you're full after the main course, order from the dessert menu, and still manage to kill that. That was my experience at Fiesta Mexicana Family. We had split a Fiesta Mexicana combo which was a savory experience of grilled shrimp, chicken breast, carne asada, and mushrooms. That hit the spot after a full day of exploring the Colorado River. Paired with a pitcher of their house margarita and finishing off with flan and churros, you can't go wrong at this place in the middle of Page, AZ. Graced by their excellent service , we left with to-go-boxes and happy stomachs... Highly recommend.

The service here was really great and they will accommodate any dietary specifications you have. Over the course of a week we ate there three times because it was recommended as the best Mexican food in Page and found many hearty vegetarian choices. The place was filled each night and there are unlimited refills on all drinks.

This is really good authentic mexican place. We went there for the dinner. the service was really fast and efficient. I liked the chips and salsa which comes free. Salsa is more towards the spicy side but its really tasty. In the main course i had the chicken fajita and they were well cooked. The veggies were less then expected but still there and tasted well. My friend tried the house magrita and it was good. Veggie dish was also good which my wife ate. If you are staying @ page this is surely a place to check and eat :).

Food is very tasty, very nice out door seating. I ordered the saute mushroom and grilled shrimp dish $13ish, it was the best Mexican dish I've ever have.

Boating & playing in the waters of Lake Powell for 6 hours can really work up an appetite! Not knowing where to go, we drive along the short strip & spot the local "Authentic Mexican" sign. It must be good since their parking lot was full! It was peak time & it was busy . They had a nice little patio for dining, but the kids wanted to eat inside. You can't help but notice the many 8x10 framed pics as you enter of Laura Bush. With 4 adults & 6kids, they only set out 3 mini bowls that must of held a hand-full of chips in each, along with some fresh & somewhat hot salsa. So now our mouths are on fire & our beverage order is taking forever. The Margaritas were really good & had enough tequila in it, to make us forget for only a moment that our food was also taking forever! The kids waited so patiently & it would've been nice if there were coloring pages for them. The kids meals were huge & could've easily been split between 2 lil ones. The carnitas were dry & the taquitos burnt, we ended up canceling that order 'cause it was taking too long for the replacement. The shrimp w/garlic sauce & tons on grilled mushrooms were absolutely delicious & the Steak fajitas were equally good. For the wait we were given a complimentary fried ice cream w/ coconut...YUM! Overall, we'd return because the food was flavorful, big portions & the service was due to the dinner rush & two other tables right next to us were tables of 10-14. We love Mexican food, so we'd come back... next time we'll just order 2 margaritas at once & extra chips when we see it's peak time!

We are on vacation and passing through the area. The entrees are decent with large portions. However, I was disappointed with their margaritas. They were ok at best. I've had better margaritas from an Italian restaurant. The servers were friendly. I would give them 3 stars, but my fiancé got sick immediately after eating here.

5 stars! Huge food critic and I could tell you that this is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants u could eat at. Margaritas, Food and Customer Service was a A+.

  • Emmy M.

Very disappointed. 1. Food took very long. 2. Server not friendly. 3. He never came to our table to ask if everything is ok. 4. Thus we had empty glasses and no more chips when waiting for the good for long.

Were you born under a rock? If not, then you know that Globe-Miami Mexican food is regarded as a genre all its own. A genre, I might add, at the top of the heap when it comes to beans and tortillas. Fiesta Mexicana tastes just like Globe-Miami gems Irene's, La Casita, El Rey and for that she receives 4 stars. If you still don't know what I'm talking about think red chili sauce covering a beef/beans burrito and big, happy, smiling bellies. As an added bonus you can sit on patio and enjoy some Banda music and look out at the red rocks of Lake Powell. If your in Page stop, find Fiesta Mexicana, and dig in.

Dry. Just like the desert it's in. I ordered the carne asada dinner that came with beans and rice. My steak was medium rare just as I had ordered but the rest of it was super dry. I also ordered myself the house margarita which was a lot of pre-mix that made my dry mouth pucker. The table salsa was particularly delicious with a mild kick. Not the best food I've ever had, but our server was super friendly and entertaining. The host staff was accommodating. The place had a semi divey vibe to it. There's a large outdoor dining area in the front that's a plus. It can be a bit of a battle for parking but we parked across the street after hours of the businesses there.

First and foremost, most of the food was good. There was good flavor to our meals. Do not get the queso, it is just melted jack cheese in a large bowl, and some of it wasn't even melted. However, the salsa was great. Now, I am pleading with you, DO NOT EAT here! The service is incomparably horrible. Every table near us was complaining about wait times, even for a refill. I read the reviews and thought they may have been a little dramatic, trust me, they weren't.... I spoke to who I thought was the manager about the wait times, and she said, "Yeah, everyone complains about that," and then turned and left! Save yourself a few hours and stress, and go somewhere else.

We were in Page for the night, and we asked the hotel front desk for a restaurant recommendation. She said all the locals go to Fiesta Mexicana, so we decided to check out this local Mexican joint. We came on a weekday night in late December, and there was a 10 minute wait. It's a popular place with a lot of tables and customers. We asked the waiter for a recommendation, and he said the flaming fiesta combo. All right, onward we go with grilled skirt steak and chicken breast, jumbo shrimp (about 8), sauteed veggies (peppers, mushrooms, onions), Mexican rice, refried beans, flour tortillas, toppings of cheese, guacamole, and sour cream. Huge portions for around $32. It was more than enough for 2 people. We saved leftovers for the next day. Lots of meat and veggies. When they bring it out, they pour water on the cast iron plate, causing flames to temporarily erupt. Makes for a good show. We were hungry, so the food tasted even better. Also, they offer complimentary chips and salsa. The service is fair. Loud, friendly atmosphere that's good for groups. I would come again if I was in Page, given there seems to be limited food options in this area.

Wow! Words can not express how bad this place is. Went here on 9/6/2016. Waited with my wife and 2 small children for over an hour. Was told our food would be right out and then was told minutes later that they were closing and that they could maybe get us our food in an hour.... On Labor Day weekend no less! The worst managed restaurant I have ever seen.

We loved this place. After a long day of photography in the Antelope Canyon, we were starved. The flaming fajitas were great. The service was prompt and friendly. You will love it!

Great Mariettas and the food is generally what you would expect in Page. We go there every time we are getting on our house boat. I think their fajitas are very good and I personally like their mole which you can get on a chicken Brest or I prefer it on their a chicken enchiladas typical Mexican food at fair prices

It was between Fiesta Mexicana and El Tapatío and for dinner. Philip T had suggested we go to the latter, but my friend wanted to come here. First thing that happens when we walk in is my friend gets bit on the ankle by something. We didn't see anything, so we figured it was some kinda small bug. That's karma for her making me come here. So we were started out with chips & salsa and some guac. The guac was room temp. We saw the table next to us with enormous margaritas, so we thought that might make our experience better. I ordered mine with like juice only and Herradura (I usually get hassled when asking for it this way, I don't like artificial liquor and crap) surprisingly this was pretty decent. My taco salad was also pleasantly good. For places to eat in Page, I'm afraid this is as good as it's gonna get.

Well this restaurant obviously does NOT care if they serve a minors alcohol!!! My cousin ordered a Virgin Piña Colada and the the waiter/server came back with the alcoholic beverage. He did not mention that there was alcohol in the drink nor did he ask for I.D. like one is suppose to do when serving alcohol. My cousin not knowing there was alcohol in her drink, drank it and noticed it was not right. She then asked her sister (who also is a minor) to taste it and she too noticed it tasted funny. Then my sister (who is of the legal drinking age) confirmed that there was alcohol in the drink. My mother then asked for the manager and told the another server about the alcoholic drink. The server told us that the manager had left for the day. My mother knew he was lying, because she got up and found the manager of the restaurant. At this point they had not even apologized about their mistake until they got the right drink. While we had order our food, we contacted the police to report the restaurant for serving alcohol to a minor, and waited till the police showed up. The police showed up, of course the restaurant employees were surprised, and all followed the officer to our table. From that point, we gave our true statement of what really happened and the employees started blaming me for ordering the drink. I (under the legal drinking age too) can not believe that these employees had the audacity to lie to us and to the police. I'm mean really what are they thinking? By this point my cousin was already buzzed and the officer knew that there was something wrong with their false statements. We continued to proceed with finishing our food and paid for this awful service. We then confronted a couple of the employees and told them that it was wrong for them to serve alcohol to minors. One of them said "I don't know what happened" and stated "Well don't come back then". We did not leave a tip for obvious reasons. Other than that, the food was ok and the employees were starring us down throughout this whole process.

A good find in Page, a city that doesn't have too much to offer in terms of food. Margaritas are huge and not bad at all.

We were in town to visit the Antelope Canyons and the Horse Shoe Bend. We were promptly seated upon arrival, the place was crowded already. The restaurant was very colorfully decorated. We got the chile relleno and the pollo barracho. The food was decent and came in huge portions. Their salsa was great. The waiter got us a house made hot sauce when we asked for hot sauce. It was made of habanero peppers and he never told us that. Our mouths were on fire simply by tasting it and he smiled at us, when we told him that. A little heads up would have been good.

On a Friday night, without reservations there was a 15minute wait time. Complimentary chips and salsa were served as soon as we got seated and they did a great job with replenishing them. I wanted to get a Margarita, but the size of the cup was huge and wasn't sure whether I could finish it all by myself, hence had to pass. My husband and I split a chicken fajitas. It came with rice, beans, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, chicken and tortillas. Lots of food! I'm glad I didn't order a separate dish for myself. The entree was bland for me, especially the chicken! Sprinkled some salt, but didn't help. Wound up the meal with a fried ice cream. Huge with caramel and chocolate syrup drizzling over the ice cream. Soooo yummy! Service is great! Overall it is 4 stars.

Apparently we'd come into Page during low tourist season. Not too many places open. We came here for lunch before leaving Page. The portions were nicely sized, not small, but not so big that you're afraid of overeating if you finish everything. I got one of the steak dishes - it was thinly sliced, but cooked ever just so right and tender, not like many of the other Mexican places that brings out your steak like a piece of charcoal. The sauteed mushroom appetizer is to die for!!! Oh my goodness, the richness that melts in your mouth. The decor was interesting. Our tabletop (under the glass) had this painting of a very nicely muscled man carrying a voluptuous woman. I guess there's a story behind the picture, but I surely didn't know it. It was interesting eating my lunch over their bodies. On the way out I noticed the same picture but done up in a metal embossed artwork. Overall, good experience here. Will visit again if we swing through Page again.

We unfortunately did not have a great experience at Fiesta Mexicana. It took at least 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged by our waiter. We had to go to the hostess to ask for everything, including water! The only time we saw our waiter was when he took our order, never again. The food was decent but nothing to write home about. I can't say I would recommend this restaurant.

We had to wait over an hour for our food, after we were seated. The manager only said that they had 4 cooks in the kitchen. When the food finally came it was cold. Bad experience.

Disclaimer - this review is for drinks from the bar only. Did not eat here - only drank. The sign out front says "The best Margaritas in town" - if this is a true statement, then I do not wish to ever drink another margarita anywhere in Page, AZ. The bar setting is a nice cozy little area in the back of the place tat features two or three big screens. The bar tender was a friendly guy who was constantly making drinks for the people seated at tables. This lead to us being ignored while at the bar area. It took nearly 5 mins to get a drink menu and another 5 before our order was placed. After placing the order it was another 5 mins before our margaritas came due to some argument the bar tender was having with a server. On to the drinks themselves - we both ordered one of the specialty margaritas (don't remember names now) The menu made these sound like they would be the best, highest quality drink you could imagine. To our dismay, the drinks were about 3/4 ice and very little actual drink. The tequila used had a bad aftertaste and was so overpowering that it didn't really taste like anything other than cheap tequila. I can hardly even call what I had a margarita. I will give the place two stars based on atmosphere, variety of drinks and relatively low drink prices. As for quality of the drinks, I'm hoping we just caught a bad bar tender on a bad night - there is no way that what I had can be considered the best margarita anywhere.

Had the carne asada again. This time the meat was tough, stringy and tasteless. What happened to their carne asada? Used to be pretty good before. Maybe using a cheaper cut of meat? Better to try something else if you come here. Service was fine though.

The restaurants in Page are limited so I YELP'd....help where to go. The food is good. The service was awesome! It was a Monday night and a party of 10...no reservations just walked in and the staff was exceptional. I loved they gave us enough time to visit had waters right away and wanted to know our drink orders way before they even thought to ask about what we wanted to eat. Great Service!!! We finally ordered our food and oh yes.....we had a birthday celebration in our party. That is all they needed to know. It was awesome! They surprised our birthday boy with a dessert, a singing and a sombrero! We had so much fun taking pictures and singing. It really was a fun touch. Again, the food was good. I did ask for a hotter salsa which they did bring and it was good. Large portions which is great everyone enjoyed their dinner selections so we were all happy. Would I go here again next time I am in Page, AZ- Yes!

Man on up there haas! Think you like some spicy salsa feel free to order some of the green atomic salsa. It will grow some hair on that chest of yours. They have really good regular salsa as well. The food here was as good as you can get in the western desert. Large portions so feel free to order one dish and share with your travel buddy. They cut their beef Mexican style so order the skirt steak as it will be some of the best you can find.

It was lunch time. I was hungry. They were open. That is the story of how we came to eat at Fiesta Mexicana. The food was good, standard mexican fare, and I would go back again if I lived in the area. Not much else to say, really.

The food was okay. Not terrible but not great. My wife had a house Margarita which she said was awesome. Had it not been for the cocktail, I would have given 3 stars.

If you are not accustomed to really really good mexican food, this place is pretty darn good. The service is impeccable. Margaritas are cold and chips are hot. I like the tacos El Pastor. Everything here is huge so consider sharing!

Ok food. BUT NOT a family friendly restaurant. We sat next to a group that was very intoxicated and loud. We also felt that the server catered to the intoxicated group for extra tip!!

Tried this place for the second time after a poor first experience with take-out a few months prior. Our server said a total of, 4 words to us, "ready to order?" & "ok" when we asked for the bill. The portions were large but the food was terrible. Food was lukewarm at best & we had to ask for water 3 times. On the contrary our busser was great and kept the salsa & chips flowing. Too bad that was better than our meals.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
