Nice restaurant with good quality food and a nice ambiance. Little pricy but its a tourist location. The Dam chips are awesome and service was great. Little wait time to be seated but the service makes up for it. Besides our server knew the menu really well, a thumb up.

We visit Lake Powell twice a year and have tried most restaurants in Page, none are great but the Dam Bar & Grill is our favorite. They have good food, good beer and decent prices (for Page). We also like playing the Buzz Time trivia game.

Amazing!! After a long day of driving and hotel hunting this place served us well. We had to wait to be seated and it only took about 10 minutes when the hostess guessed 15. We were greeted by our server Anthony who was friendly, personable, and very knowledgable about the menu. The menu was varied and everything looked good. We split a few of our entrees as the portions were very large. Anthony got us water and some bread right away and our salads came out shortly after. The bread was delicious and the salad was great. I had the prickly pear dressing, yum! It was perfect, as we were starving when we came in! The entrees,as I mentioned earlier, were a good size and the perfect portion to split after our salad and bread. My mom and I split the linguini pasta with chicken. Delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly and everything was warm when it came out. Good flavors all around. Overall a wonderful experience after a long day, thanks Dam Bar and Grille.

Good food, good staff, good location. Only a bit noise because off a match. But typical without any doubt.

Just a few things to say. Consistant, food and service have always been very consistant. not five stars but i would say a slim four. If your in town and want a clean place to eat with pretty good service, then this is a great choice. Pub fair is pretty good, beer is cold.

Oh my gosh! Thanks to the previous positive Yelps I drug my co-workers here for dinner. The place was four for four ... we ALL hated it. My Prime Rib was a horrible cut (fatty and chewy) and poorly cooked (it looked like shoe leather). No one else liked their food either and I had to apologize profusely to them all for bringing them here. Oh yeah ... and it wasn't cheap either! I'm not sure where else to eat here in Page ... but this aint the place!

Went back another night I was in Page. Got the Chicken Parm. Pretty good. The pear dressing for the salad wasn't to bad. Coworker got the steak with chowder, which he said was really good!

  • Mengdi W.

the roasted chicken was so salty and terrible

  • Alex L.

Came there with low expectations which weren't low enough apparently. Ordered the steak which was the worst I had in my life. My friend was still eating and the waitress already cleaned the table presented the dessert menu (only to me of course!!) and the invoice. We felt slightly pushed. Stay away is my suggestion.

Worst service and food in Page. Staff was slow, food arrived very late and was cold. When we complained, the manager tried to blame us. Go eat somewhere else. This place sucks ! Better to go to Fiesta Mexicana

  • Kathrin K.

The food was good, but the service was horrible. The interior design of the place is quite funny... in a good way.

  • Meriel W.

It took forever for them to seat us. We waited for 30 minutes as other people with parties the same size were seated before us despite them coming in after us. The service was mediocre and took forever. They also had several tables open while we were waiting to be seated.

I stopped by a quick bite before heading out to Antelope Canyon. I was running late, and ordered fish tacos to go. I paid for them. It was taking too long, and I had to leave without them. When I returned after my trip to Canyon, which btw was awesome, they gave me a hot order of fish tacos. They were spectacular. They didn't have an attitude about the fact that I had to leave and returned. They even comped me a drink. Great service!

  • Ed B.

Not bad, but not great food. Moderately expensive for what you get. Beer selection good. Recently stopped in and they were out of wings! And wings are one of their tastier items. Service hit and miss as far as friendliness and timeliness go.

  • Barry S.

I really dug this place ... sooo much better than a chain ... with good variety and a cool vibe. I'd go back and would eat there a few more times if it was closer to me!

We had lunch here on the way back from antelope canyon. They have tasty burgers. I had the southwest burger, spicy and delicious. Nice service as well as cool ambient.

  • John W.

SUPER SLOW!!!! The receptionists walked back and forth lost for 30 minutes, our pager never went off, and people mysteriously were seated before us... Then we sat at the table for 7 minutes before getting water. Waitress was rude...

    (1)
  • John T.

Its a nice looking place, but a tad expensive. I had a southwestern cobb salad ($9) and a diet pepsi ($2.5). It was good, but nothing to write home about. I would eat here again.

The dam bar and grille is decent. They have a fair beer selection and good happy hour specials. We stopped in for a late lunch and each went for a salad. Their salad selection was diverse and had something for everyone. I went for the mediterranean salad, although I'm not really sure what was mediterranean about it. It had mixed greens, candied walnuts, gorgonzola crumbles, plum tomatoes, and diced onions. I, being a green chile freak and unable to get them at home, requested green chiles be added to my salad. The bartender gave me a weird look but agreed to do it; it was a $0.75 upcharge, but I happily paid it. It was delicious with a prickly pear vinaigrette. Craig had a cilantro lime chicken salad. It had grilled chicken, mixed greens, roasted corn, cheese, tomatoes, and black beans. He said it was alright but didn't taste much like cilantro or lime. It could have used a little more flavor. There were televisions around the bar playing the Olympics and buzztime trivia; always a favorite during an idle lunch for us. Drinks were fairly priced; shots of Jaeger were $5 ($3.50 during happy hour) and Jameson was only $4. Not the hugest pours, but hey. They have some really cool photos of the construction of Glen Canyon Dam as well as a wall that is designed to look like the Dam. From our seats at the bar, we could sorta see the dam and the lake. Although we only had salads, the other lunch entrees looked good and were reasonably priced. It's Page, so you can't hold your expectations too high. I'll go back.

Could be much better with that service thing in order. We were overcharged. We were told 75 cents per extra topping on our burgers, but got charged $1.50 per topping. The manager offered to make one of the toppings 75 cents, but the rest would remain the wrong price. Really? We fixed the reciept with our own pen and left cash, that shit just happens too much these days (I highly recommend doing this). Decent food outside of the hassles.

  • Mark W.

The food was average and service was horrible. After waiting at least 45 min for food, I had to track down one of the few servers to pay the bill. Very bad experience

  • Sheila L.

Friendly bar staff. Was able to sneak in right at closing time and enjoyed cold beverages and two tasty appetizers...the coconut sirloin steak fingers and blackened shrimp mushroom cream cheese caps. I sat at the bar surrounded by European tourists all eating elaborate steak dinners so I imagine this place is quite crowded. Be prepared to wait a bit for your order as I did.

    (2)
  • Shang-Lin C.

This was probably the best meal we had on our vacation so far. The cream of mushroom soup was excellent, and the baby back ribs were tender and tangy, although the sauce was slightly on the strong side. The Dam Bar & Grille is large and spacious with Western-themed decor and large booths. It's located in a building with a saloon and a sushi lounge, I think all under the same ownership. Service was pretty good, but this was in mid-October, during the off-season.

  • Rebecca S.

holy kizow! these be some cheap drinks - $11 for 3 beers and 2 vodka tonics! the place has a kitschy "dam" theme that may be a bit overdone, but i wonder if they did it on purpose. the food looked good - i wished we had eaten here rather than the crappy mexican place up the road. service was quick and kind, just the way i like it. you can tell the owners are trying hard to make something of this place - there's a live music venue next door (which is connected to the restaurant) where they showcase local bands (the night we were there a metal band performed). prices were more than fair for alcohol and the menu didn't look overpriced either. if we're in page again we'll definitely hit up the dam bar and grille again only this time we'll eat AND drink.

Actually, I am one of the the non-residents of Page that have eaten regularly at the Dam Bar and Grill; and I have to disagree with one thing that our friendly first reviewer said: something about summer service being hopeful that a table opens up - there is a way to navigate it - go into the bar. There is nothing fancy about the the Dam Bar, just quality food and a reasonable price. The bar staff is friendly and helpful and you get a good quality meal quickly and you can usually find some tourist sitting at the bar with you which always sparks interesting conversation. The last time I was there (August), I met four Italian men, spoke little-to-no-English. It was good to be me...

    (5)
  • Gary R.

i eat here every time i'm in town. The food is good but the servers are very friendly and the place is clean. Burgers are really good and the steak is good as well. Easy and simple.

  • Sam S.

The place was very cool with boats on the top of the ceiling but when I got to the table everything changed. First off, we waited ten minutes for the waiter to actually get to the table, strike 1. Then when she came, it took forever to get the food and drinks, strike 2. I ordered a hamburger with lettuce, tomato and bacon and when the food finally arrived, it tasted like a compost pile. It was dry, the bun was soaked in something unknown, very flavourless, bacon tasted hard and way to much lettuce on the burger, strike 3. I knew someone was slacking in the kitchen or didn't know how to cook. It was microwaved I'm pretty sure and frozen. My mom said her salad looked like a bunch of iceberg lettuce with small amount of wilted greens and the meat on the salad was like shoe leather. My dad says the fish taco he ate was very uneventful, and he says, "it wasn't a real fish taco". My sister says: "it looked good at first but then the first bite that I took, I regretted". After all, they need to revaluate the effort that they're putting into the food. Thank you, Kid Food critic, Sam Schaffer

If i were to revisit Page, AZ, i would not come back to this place. Food was really sub par for me and we had to wait FOREVER for our food to come out. Service was nice, but doesnt make up for the food quality. Additionally, they have these blinking lights that could give an epileptic person real troubles.

  • Anhers M.

Pretty much the only restaurant open in their off season. On the tab Fish tacos Steak Salad Clam chowder (way too salty) Overall, nice & fast service for a typical bar & grill

  • Amy W.

Located in a strip mall but the place is pretty roomy. It has s big bar and lots of televisions atriums it . Then a glass wall separated family dining . It has some nice history about the GlenCanyon Dam. A little pricey but for what is available in town it's worth it. Night 1 we had rib eye it had good flavor and was cooked well . Tonight are burgers . Was the only place we could find in town that served drinks and had people in it , several other restraints didn't seem to have the people. Staff is friendly . Bathrooms are clean . Good place family and adult friendly

Had a lovely meal. Friendly, local bar. Would recommend a visit. Helpful, polite staff. Good value for money. Although showing sport on TV, not too loud or intrusive - could still talk but enjoy glancing up at the game.

I was anxious to try the DAM BURGER, came in, we where hosted, sat down for 10 minutes watching waiters go by, no one came to greet us.... We left... But thank you, since we got to eat at Big Johns BBQ, and had an incredible meal. Maybe next time.

Hotel recommended it. Nice patio but couldn't get anyone to wait on us. Finally had to ask who our server was. They then asked us to move a table to accommodate a larger group, and server then waited on us. Food was ok, wifes fish tacos were good. Took awhile to get check. Table next to us had ordered appetizers which never came out. Two couples walked out after waiting several minutes without getting waited on. Not going back.

I don't think enough can be said about Lisa and her team here at the Dam Bar. After going through a recent remodel, I was blown away in the change with the restaurant. Yeah have live music on the weekends, and while there are a lot of tour groups it's a fun place to hang out. We always order steak, and my only advice would be that if you like them under done, like I do, order it rare.

Their homemade apple cobbler was outstanding... The rest of the food that we've had was just fine. Considering it was Sunday night after 8 and there wasn't much of a choice, it was a good enough. Will go back for that desert tonight :-)

30 min in and still waiting for wings and chicken parm. Finally came out. Waitress apologized for the wait and said the kitchen was backed up, but we overheard that our order wasn't put in by the bartender. No apologies, nothing from him at all. I give the 1 star to the waitress who was sincere and checked up on us during our meal. Food wasn't great.

I love the Dam Bar. It's so Dam clever. There's even a replica of a Dam inside. We arrived at 11:20 am to locked doors, even though it said it opened at 11:00 (Dam time - it was an hour earlier due to Arizona time). But we came back and were the first in. We had a party of 8 that came in and out for a few hours. Our server never missed a beat. He kept the drinks coming. He gave us tips on what to see in the area before we got on our houseboat, and he was pleasant, despite being very busy toward the middle of the afternoon. The cocktails here are interesting. I had a Horseshoe Bender (vodka, tequila, and curacao). It was good, but only one was needed. I had the fried chicken sandwich, and of course, had to make some modifications. I took off the cheese and sauce and asked to sub honey mustard. It came out perfectly, and was a delicious 'wich. I paired it with onion rings. They were quite tasty. Someone at our table had a pizza (it was huge). My husband had a french dip that he found flavorful. We moved to the bar when the rest of our party went to shop (there are tons of shops in this plaza - tourist traps). I'd rather spend my money on libations and local culture than souveniers. Our bartenders were a bit busy, but we managed to get our drinks. They were also gracious about turning the TVs to different football games for us. Overall, this is a fun place to hang out and enjoy food and adult beverages.

Service was not bad, it was awful! We were chastised for wanting a table instead of the bar. Waitress was nice, however, it took her 20 minutes to acknowledge us. Food was average at best. Decent beer selection.

  • Mercy D.

Food and service were very good. I had the Bullfrog BLT w/fries. My son had the pepperoni and sausage pizza which he said was very good. My daughter had the Cobb salad which was served in a taco shell. She thought the dressing that came with it was a little too spicy. Finally my husband had the grilled chicken sandwich which he said was on the plain side. He ordered the dam fries with his sandwich and he thought those fries were too spicy as well. Our server was Tiffany and she was very good. Ambiance was so, so but it was Thursday afternoon and maybe the place is rocking on other days and the decor was just so, so.

Good and consistent food. Every time we visit Page we always end up here for a meal. Alway good service and low wait times. Great beer selection and I love staring at the decor. The gift lobby is a little strange.

Environment was nice. Salad seemed like a bust. Big dam burger was huge and good. Steak was cooked perfectly. Wish the outdoor seating wasn't reserved for smokers. Total bummer.

Good place for lunch or dinner. Stakes and salads are solid, soup was delicious, wine was good too. Reasonably priced.

We stopped in for lunch on our way through town and were not disappointed. We ordered a burger and fish tacos, and both were Dam Good!

First time at Dam Bar and Grill. Went for dinner after Slot Canyon tour to get the grit out of our mouths. We were told it would be a half-hour wait but there were empty tables in the bar. After waiting 10 mins, we asked about those tables and the hostess said: "Go right in". Not a very bright hostess. We were greeted very quickly by our server/bartender and offered menus and drinks. Once drinks arrived, my wife ordered a hamburger with a lettuce 'bun' and fries and I ordered the black and bleu burger with soup. Our meal arrived in about 10 mins and my soft drink was refilled. Both burgers were cooked medium well (we weren't asked) but were still juicy. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions on the side and ketchup plus mustard were offered. The black and bleu burger didn't really get the blackened treatment or was just overwhelmed by the 1/4 pound of bleu cheese. Not sure which. I like bleu but it was piled high and I had to scrape some off. The soup was very good. Overall the food was good but the hostess service and overworked bartender (our server) could have been much better.

Cool place to stop and eat. Good atmosphere and food, the service was okay and the prices were high.

Good. Portions were large. Service was good. Good for family. Nothing notable good or bad.

  • Jim T.

Decent bar and grille type place. We ate here twice while in Page. The cheese fondue appetizer is awesome. The pizza was great. The breadsticks were great. Burgers not bad. Fish tacos good. The soup of the day was good too. The salads and wings, not so much!! The waitstaff is friendly. However, waitstaff seems understaffed and food takes a LONG time to come out. We waited probably 40-45 mins both times. I don't like wasting that much time in a restaurant when I have better things to do on vacation! We missed a sunset because of the wait. I want that sunset back!

Went for lunch today with a friend. Took the so-called hostess about 5 minutes to notice we were waiting to be seated when we did get seated she told us that we would have to wait for a menu? 5 minutes passed and the young man that was bussing tables found menus 10 minutes later we ask the same young man for water and asked him if he could find our waitress. We should have went some where else but I had read reviews about how great their fish tacos were and really wanted to try them what a mistake ! I asked the waitress for no cheese extra limes and Baja sauce on the side well I got coleslaw instead of cabbage lots of cheese and no limes we had already been there 45 minutes so I just ate them but I won't be back to eat again!!! My friend got the chicken taco salad she did enjoy after she picked out the can of black olives that had been dumped in the center! It was about noon when we arrived and 1 30 when we left. There were a few tables maybe 10 to 12 there were at least 4 waitresses on duty and one bartender and one busser. My husband and I have been in there a couple of times and every time the service gets worse and worse its really sad because it is a nice place and being a local I don't understand I wonder if it's because this is a tourist town and no one seems to put their heart and soul into the service they give.

What a terrible place! No greetings from Any of the staff. We sat ourselves down. The sign stated for us to do so. Our server was Awful. He looked pissed off, no warmth, he's cold as the weather outside. Ordered our food, food came and he left. You would think he notice we had no utensils. We had to wait for him to pass by again to ask for utensils. The fried Zucchini was horrible. Thinly sliced coated with bread crumbs full on grease. The Cobb salad had no dressing, had to ask for that too. Soup of the day broccoli cheese yuk! Salty, runny. Clam chowder soup also salty we didn't eat it after 2 bites. We had two other dishes couldn't recall the name let just say it was dry and hard. My daughter didnt even touch it after one taste. Our bill came to $98 and still my husband tip him 15%. Not the normal 20% like we usually do. why tip him at all? My husband responded he did bring us food. Uuggh! He's lucky you paid the bill I would of wrote him a novel on customer service and 0%! Tip.

Not too shabby! They get a lot of mileage out of the "dam" puns. We ordered the nachos. They are a mountain of nachos. They're the type of delicious southwest style nachos with all the colored chips and jalapeños and whatnot. Tasty though it could have come out hotter. The chip-to-condiment ratio was impressive! The place is indeed spacious. Bar with a fortress of tvs so that's good, if you're into that. I'm not- but hey, it's America! Open the whole year it seems. Head to this dam place for festive times.

  • Rodney D.

I had the cheesesteak and it was really good! I wasn't expecting it from this place but it was very tasty. We also had the spinach artichoke dip that was really good also. I will definitely be coming back here the next time I make it out to Page AZ!

    (4)
  • Stephanie O.

The food was good but took a long time to get. Portions were either overpriced or too small. For Mother's Day you'd think there might be a little extra effort. I think this place is better in the off season. I had the special Lobster salad. Seemed to be about the size of a dinner salad. Also had the Asparagus fries $9 for 7 stalks of asparagus seems pretty pricey. Our family of 5 spent $90 only drank water and left still a little hungry. Not likely to eat there again.

Had to try this place out, if for no other reason, the name. Also, not a lot to choose from in Page. Stopped in for lunch after a tour of Lower Antelope Canyon on a Friday around noon. Fairly busy, but not crowded. The place is spacious. Seat yourself set up, so we found a booth for our party of 6 in the bar area. I liked the ambiance. Kind of like a sports bar, but definitely a dam theme. Service is slow, but friendly, and we weren' t in a hurry. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The fish tacos very good as was the quesadilla. The dam fries were particularly tasty. Cut thin with some cajun seasoning to spice them up. Had a couple decent beers on tap. One was called Damber, which actually turned out to be an IPA and was excellent. I believe it was a Lumberyard brew. Overall a nice place to eat, if you aren't in a hurry.

    (4)
  • Jesse N.

A nice stop for lunch, the decor is pretty neat with a replica of the Dam inside and some nice large murals. Ordered a pizza which was good besides being really greasy. Bar staff were friendly and quick to bring our drinks. Would stop in here again.

Stopped by during a road trip. They mixed up our order and we ended up waiting almost 30 mins for our food. As we were about to leave, the manager brings us our food and apologizes for the delay, offering us a free dessert. All our anger dissipates and we're happy. Good job dude. Try the Damber beer. I love ambers and this one was excellent. Food was tasty. Slightly overpriced but that seems on par for decent sit-down restaurants in this area.

  • Rob E.

Great Service! they have nice people working here. and the place is rather nice, it's a good impression all around when you see this place. we ordered the artichoke spinach dip, a salad, the skinny dip sandwich, and the pizza rolls. salad - fresh and good Spinach dip - was not that great, very bland, needs some garlic or somthin skinny dip - was average, not worth 14 bucks pizza rolls - looked like generic hot pockets, and were disgusting it's mainly and watering hole for drinkers, and a social spot. not much for the food, but the place is great to visit and drink:)

Great for beer and watching football. Not so crazy about the nachos. I believe the greatest food here is by far the "dam chips"-Delicious! And super awesome onion rings! Looking for healthy, fresh, made to order???Not Here!!! However, great service at the bar and fun for sports fans.

What a great restaurant! Was here for the Lake Powell 1/2 marathon! Had Anthony as our server, and he was fantastic! He made great recommendations! I had the steak stroganoff and my son had the ribs! Both were delicious! Tried the prickly pear salad dressing and it was delicious!

We went to page for antelope canyon and the driver recommend this place for lunch. We came at 11:30, and this place is quite empty. We sit by the bar and met the waitress, a very nice pregnant lady, she said she it due in a week, good luck to her! I order this special: Dam Big Burger, a very nice freshly made burger which weighs one pound, it is huge!!! The fries that comes with it are thin cut and freshly fried, which is crispy. My Gf has a salad, she likes it. Generally speaking, nice an reasonably priced place to go if you are traveling here in Page AZ.

  • Hieu H.

Great service and good drinks! Got the wings, pizza rolls, and the chicken sandwich. The pizza rolls is a must and the dough used is light and soft! The prickly pear margarita is a nice refreshing drink after a long hike as well.

This was a great place to end a long day of sightseeing. They have a cool bar and good food at reasonable prices. Classic rock and friendly service set the mood. If you order salad, try their prickly pear balsamic salad dressing which is made in-house. Delicious!

Let me preface this by saying that there are truly few decent restaurants in Page at all. Mostly fast food and greasy local spots. ....but places like the Dam take advantage of this fact as an excuse to serve mediocre food at high prices. The atmosphere here is pretty cool, they have a sports bar vibe in the front and a decent booth area (with large aluminum boat indoors!), but our dinner was spoiled sitting next to the kitchen exit. Apparently this is the happening spot for the wait staff to hang out and gossip (and insult each other loudly). My girlfriend was really put off by this... The food was edible. Not great, but not worth the price either. It was just under $40 for a couple of burgers, one beer and a soft drink. Don't set expectations high for "fine dining" and you'll be alright. Next time I'd skip the meal, pre-run at a burger joint, and just grab drinks here. Again, not many options in Page..

Struggling to find some place to go in the off season...first time visit. Figured generic bar grill was good bet. We had the fajita special and french dip sandwich -- both good. Enjoyed clam chowder and salad too. Beer selection was good too. Pleasant surprise. Happy with our choice. We would come back.

a lot of the places in Page were closed, but we found the Dam Bar and Grill to be a wonderful dinner location. Our server was helpful and the food was good. we arrive before they started serving dinner, so we had drinks in the bar first. the hostess came and got us when the restaurant opened, an unexpected pleasure. We had no problem transferring our bar drinks to our dinner tab. my husband had both the soup of the day (BBQ chicken soup) and the pasta dish of the day (shrimp fettecine) and he loved both of them. I had the beef stroganoff and it was nicely done.

Solid if not unusual offerings. I was not expecting much and the results were better than I expected. Due to town being very crowded and me being late, I ended up eating here two nights in a row. First night I had the fish taco's which were certainly good and enough to eat, just not very tasty for some reason although the produce was fresh. On the second night I had the special which was a mixed Fajita platter which had beef, chicken and shrimp along with re-fried beans. Again plenty of food and not bad, just not especially tasty, I have had better for sure. Good selection of beers on tap. Service was excellent on the first night, a little slower the second night but they were much busier so it was to be expected. Note the menu has pasta's, burgers, pizza and some Mexican. I happened to go Mexican both nights because I had been on the road for a number of days and could not face another burger and not in the mood for pasta. Did not offer smaller pizza sizes so that was out as well.

I was very impressed with this place. The interior decor is beautiful and modern. For $13, I had one of the best burgers I have had in my life. The dam Philly burger was absolutely amazing. The service is a bit slow though. It took a whole for my waitress to take my order but it was a pleasant dinner. I was very surprised especially since we're in the middle of no where Arizona.

We'd never been to the Lake Powell area before, and after getting JACKED on price and selection in the casual-dining restaurant at Lake Powell Resort, we sought out a good, yummy deal in Page. We drove/walked around, looking in windows and at menus, and chose the Dam Bar & Grille. We were very pleased with our experience. First, we got very tasty and affordable cocktails in the bar--with great service. Next, we met our very excellent waiter, Chris--such a good server I remember his name five days later! I had the lobster pasta. A half order was still pretty large, and the dish was very good--reasonable amount of lobster for the price. Can't recall what hubby ate, but he was happy. Little girls shared very good Chicken Alfredo. Eleven year-old son tried--on a bet!--to finish the Dam Big Burger. The DBB was DELICIOUS, but DAM GIGANTIC! Poor little guy almost finished the thing (which weighs TWO LBS., fully dressed). I begged him to stop! He was able to eat about 90% of that monster burger, but gave up when he remembered that the "prize" for winning the bet was MORE FOOD! (Chris had offered to buy him dessert.) We would recommend the Dam Bar & Grille to anyone visiting the Lake Powell area. It's every bit as good as similar joints in big cities. The prices are reasonable for a tourist area. The food was, in fact, yummy, and the service was topnotch.

I'm in town with a group working at the power plant for a few weeks. They have taken me here twice this week. I didn't like it either time, but the options a pretty limited in Page! For starters, the service is really slow! The next thing I noticed is that the iced tea tastes awful. When I ordered it, I said NO LEMON - as I always do. When it arrived, I didn't see a lemon, but I could taste it. Then I saw a big, fat lemon seed sinking slowly to the bottom of the glass. Thanks for listening!! I'm SURE that when they remembered that I didn't want lemon in my tea that they didn't just stick their dirty fingers in the glass and take it out. Maybe that's why it tasted so bad. I had fish and dam chips the first time. Frozen fish swimming in oil. Tasted bad and left me with an upset stomach. On my next visit I had the special which was fajitas. Fajitas suck because you have to assemble them yourself. I knew that and was prepared to do the work. The waitress did not provide a plate to assemble the fajitas on and never came by to check on me. So I tried to hold the tortilla on one hand and fill it with the other. Didn't work so well. The beef was leathery and the vegetables didn't taste fresh. VERY disappointing. I only ate about half of it. I just wasn't good at all. Bad fajitas, horrible tea and lousy service. $24 and they expect a tip? Not happening. On our second visit the other guys also expressed their disgust with this place. So that's six of us that won't be back.

if you want good food and great service visit the restaurant during the winter time!!! no joke because page is busy with tourist season from april till october-ish. you have been warned. we dropped in for a lunch on 3/3/12 for a group of 5 adults. our service was great and even got hooked up with free fried pickles. lol. there were 3 other tables being occupied and 2 people in the sports bar. i ordered the ribeye and it was not bad. when i ate my steak i thought to myself "i've had better." you know what i mean. it came with fried potato chips. i ordered an arnold palmer and the lemonade was pink lemonade. it was interesting. kinda pricey for a 4 star type of meal.

We dined here in February 2013 on a trip to Arizona to pick up our newest Jeep. We saw this place and decided to grab a bite to eat. To start things off they have this strange super annoying Transformer Deck that serves no purpose. It's ugly, loud and I'm shocked the light strobes have not caused a customer to have a seizure. While the food was good the wait staff was SO slow! We waited 20 minutes after dinner was cleared with empty water glasses and drink glasses. I think one of the bartenders noticed our annoyance so she decided to whistle loudly at us and shout to us to ask if we wanted dessert. We said no we would like to leave. She said well then come up to the bar to pay your tab.....WOW talk about a classy joint. We would never dine here again, slow, rude, thoughtless staff. Terrible ambiance!

If you come to Page, you have to go to the Dam Bar and get a beer. The whole place is decked out with a fake dam and a boat in the restaurant. The atmosphere is awesome, the food is great. Just a little pricey but who cares when you are on vacation.

This place does not deserve the rating it has as of now. My experience was anything but ordinary. The hostess was not serious about her job and talked to her co workers relentlessly while we were being seated and didn't pay any attention to us. This was a the first sign of what we were going to go through. A waiter didn't show to greet us or ask us what we will have to drink. It wasn't until I personally went back to the hostess, the one yapping away again, to address the issue. Her response,"the waiter should be there." Well that info was VERY helpful. She took no initiative whatsoever. Then a waitress finally took our orders after a bit more time passed. The weird thing was that the restaurant was out of fries! Quite rare to see this phenomenon at a restaurant like this! Then after we ordered from a rather pricey menu overall, the waitress came back after 5 min to tell us what we ordered was not available. So apparently the highlighted "most popular" section of the menu was all not available. Then after a while more of just pure poor service and retarted pacing we took up our things and left. So I have no experience with the food but the service alone made us turn back away from the place.

I went to this place although I was warned that it might not be a place I'd like because of horrible service and mediocre food. I was pleasantly surprised that was not the case at all. It was not busy at all during lunch and my waitress was extremely attentive. I ordered the "berni" sandwich. (she suggested I do half because of size, so I went with that) It was huge!! And so good. Also got the onion rings and I was glad I did. I would def recommend this place and will go back next time I'm in town!!!

Enthusiastic service, great manager, fun decor, and good food. Recommend the steak, onion straws, and the lemon pepper chicken!

-Ordered the Nachos (with the works). They really would not have been all that awful if a little more microwave attention was given. Cheese was still completely intact. Could tell how sharp the blade was that graded it. -Sampled my roommates plate and als

My wife and I stopped here for lunch after a day of local sight- seeing. Like most of the restaurants in Page, we (erroneously) weren't expecting much but we became pleasantly surprised once the food arrived. I ordered a salad topped with chicken breast and my wife had a very tasty turkey sandwich w/ guac called the Surfer (which. Helped her finish). Both entrees had a home style presentation and taste which one rarely sees in mid-level eateries these days. I was very surprised to see real chicken breast on my salad; not the typical processed fare you see at places like Applebee's. The veggies were crisp and fresh and everything one would expect from a fine restaurant. I'd you're a beer person, I highly recommend their Dam Beer. Like a cross between Sierra Nevada and Anchor Steam, this refreshing ale was the perfect compliment to our meal. The server was friendly and attentive. It appears that the place is all or mostly run by Navajos and they are doing a fine job. This is one of those places that we tourists always hope to find: the spot where the locals eat b/c they know the food is great and which will provide a memorable dining experience for those of us who may only ever get to eat here once.

I have to say their own amber beer was pretty good. We ordered Tacos, BBQ sandwich - both were great. Service was phenomenal and our server was a DAM good one!!

I stayed in Page for 3 nights and went over there each night. I had a great time. Met new people, enjoyed their drinks, had awesome food. The chef does really good job and is very creative. Bar tenders were very polite and place looks good and clean.
