This was a pleasant surprise. First off, a warning: If you're using your GPS to get here, it's probably a bit off. Ours was, at least, and it looks like Google and Yelp have some confusion over the actual address. Just keep driving, and you'll see it - there's not a lot else around. Like I said, this was a pleasant surprise. The place is a little odd - it looks like it was originally a home, and it was converted. The area behind the place serves as a patio and storage area for a bunch of derelict furniture. I'm not sure what the deal is with that, but even so, it's pretty nice when there's a breeze. They have plenty of shade, and some crazy decorations that are interesting if nothing else. The food itself was pretty great - not overly exceptional, but good, and if you consider you're in the middle of nowhere, it's pretty awesome. The ingredients seem to be of high quality, and the menu options are significantly diverse. The people are friendly and the service was good. I suspect it gets slow when an unexpected influx of tourists come in, but if you're in this area of the world, you probably don't have a tight schedule to adhere to, so settle down.

We like this place. It is a hole in the wall restaurant but those are the best kind usually. We stopped by one morning for breakfast and really enjoyed the food and the service. It was your typical small town restaurant where the locals stop in regularily. The service was good too.

We were in town visiting family and went here for lunch. It doesn't look like much on the outside but DO NOT pass this place up if you're in town. It looks like a hole-in-the-wall and it may be, but it is amazing! The back patio is beautiful and peaceful with the water feature. We had the filet mignon chili, thai peanut chicken salad, and ham & brie sandwich. The meat in the chili was delicious! The salad was huge and one of the best I've had. And the sandwich was cheesy and hammy and caramalized oniony and delicious! I even liked the coffee and I never say that. I normally only drink it only for the caffeine and add cream to it. I didn't feel like it needed cream this time. Service was spectacular. We had a great conversation with our waiter and I'm sorry we forgot to ask for his name. He was amazing and I would love to give him credit for it. The only con: We couldn't get the wifi signal on the back patio. But if you need that, just go into the lounge where it worked great!

Gluten Free, organic, homemade pies, lattés! All delicious!! Really a nice little place in Oracle. Sit outside by the waterfall. Very relaxing and peaceful. Customer service is always an awesome experience.

Little lunch place in the middle of, well, nowhere. They have this meatloaf panini ... you should try it. Worth driving some distance for.

We came across the Patio Cafe by accident while we were exploring a nearby section of the Arizona Trail. What a great discovery! The back patio is a nicely landscaped and decorated with eclectic artwork, the food is exceptional and the waiters are friendly and helpful. We'll go out of our way to eat here again.

Food was delicious--I had the meatloaf panini with homemade pickle and a side salad. The service was slow and I received the wrong kind of salad, but it was very tasty anyway, and I was not in a huge rush. I also really appreciated the free wifi since my cell phone service was iffy in Oracle. I was really grateful for a nice place like the Oracle Cafe while I was in town.

This place is absolutely amazing. We were out here in Oracle camped out for a javelina hunt and decided to venture into town. This place is an absolute gem. Very quaint, we sat in the back patio. I ordered the chicken piadini, and I added kalamata olives, my boyfriend got the cafe breakfast. I also got mine gluten free. A gluten free piadina , and they made the dough theirselves!!! It was absolutely to die for. And the boyfriends breakfast was amazing, big portions, beautiful biscuit with fresh honey and 3 slices of huge meaty bacon. The coffee was so delicious also. The chef came and asked us how everything was. It was an almost perfect experience, besides needing to hunt down our waitress a few times who seemed to want to play on her phone. I wish I lived near this place!!!!! This is a must visit when near Oracle. We will definitely be back!!!

Was in Oracle visiting family and went here on the way back home. We didn't realize it at the time, but they were 30 minutes before closing, but you would never know it. All menu items were available, and the service was top notch. The food was amazing, the menu varied, and they easily accommodated my vegan diet, pointing out items on the menu that were vegan or could be modified. We sat out on the patio in the best October weather. We ended the meal with the best tart cherry almond pie I've ever had. (Not vegan, but I'm only 90% vegan :) I even bought a pair of really cool earrings there - they have a case of jewelry there made by a local artist. Bottom line, you have to go here.

Yum and great service. I had the chicken, pesto, artichoke and mushroom frittata and it was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. My mom had the chicken sandwich which she said was great. We shared a piece of warm peach pie which really hit the spot. The customer service was excellent and our poor service ran outside to give me back my scarf I had left behind...so sweet considering it was pouring rain. Next I'm in town I will be back to try a panini

Went up to Oracle to look around at the antique shops, etc., as we just moved near the area. The whole town takes a good 50-60 seconds to see! But it was lunch time and we figured, "what the heck", we will give it a try. Since we left our cash at home, we were relieved to find they took credit cards. We sit down and the nice waitress brings over 4 small coconut donuts (home made, of course) with the menu! They were beyond delicious! So much so that I met the owner and he insisted I take some home, no charge! Anyway, the menu was far. More interesting and extensive than I would imagine. I ordered one of the specials, tuna on croissant with lettuce, tomato +. Really good, but the waffle fries that come with it were fresh, hot and CRISPY! Not to mention a large portion. My girlfriend got the quiche, which came out at the same time as mine. Hot and tasty. We were pleasantly surprised that this little hole-in-the-wall place was this terrific. We will return!

Phenomenal food and a fun, funky atmosphere. I want to go back and have a few more items from the menu--we had brunch, so were able to order off the breakfast or lunch menus. Two of us drank the house iced tea, which was unlike any tea I've had before (and you're reading the post of someone who has an entire shelf in her pantry dedicated to tea, as well as digital thermometers and special pots for heating water). The third person had coffee and reported it to be AWFUL. I had a chicken caesar piadini, which was a flatbread with yummy fresh-roasted garlic, topped with a fresh chicken caesar salad. The dressing tasted homemade, and it was the perfect size. Someone else with me had the quiche of the day, which was delicious. I can't remember the third person's order, but he was happy with it. For dessert, we shared a piece of homemade strawberry rhubarb pie with homemade whipped cream and I have to say that it was just about the best pie I've had. 4/5 for three reasons: 1. Service was inordinately slow. It's a small-town restaurant, I know. But still. 2. They had a lot of really cool local artwork on the walls, which I loved, and also a library, which is a really cool idea. However, if you have a library in a restaurant, you need to dust in there daily. It was pretty gross. 3. Parking SUCKS! Beware! I'd recommend it to you if you're not starving (all the portions were smaller than what you'd see at a typical American restaurant), and if you're not in a super rush. It also might be a cool place to find that funky gift for your one friend who's impossible to shop for, but who loves weird art.

Boy was I surprised by how much I loved this place. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. We were out in the middle of nowhere (Biosphere 2). Instead of going to the city to eat, we decided we were just too hungry after spending an hour and a half talking about plants, so we decided to eat here. I feel so lucky I did. I decided to order the salmon with bacon and onions. It sounds pretty typical. But when I ate it I was in heaven. Rarely when you eat fish at a restaurant does it melt in your mouth. This did. They can cook a mean fish. Impressed. I was totally full by that point but everyone on Yelp mentioned that you have to order dessert. Thank you Yelpers for the advice because if I didn't know this, I would have passed by the best cake/pie I have ever eaten. Yes, you heard right. Their gluten free / dairy free coconut cake was maybe the best cake I have eaten in my 28 years of being. (I'm not sure if I would rank it #1 or #2). I don't care if something is gluten free or dairy free. I just care if it's yummy. And yes it was. I could barely keep myself together that first bite, it was so good. I don't want to over hype anything (because part of the awesomeness of this spot is no expectations). But, I do encourage you to try this place out if you're in the area (maybe if you're also not in the area).

Came here on a whim- ended up coming here on the weekend of The Oaks Festival and needed to eat... Low and behold we happened on a local stalwart, nationally known for corned beef hash and pie! And it lived up to every bit of amazing press it received! Great atmosphere, excellent food, perfect portions... 6 stars!

Sensational!! 5 of us went there for breakfast last Wednesday. We were greeted by Liz and Letica as we walked in. And I don't mean "Hi welcome to "...." I mean big welcome smiles, bubbly personalities and clearly people who cared about our experience. We enjoyed a small dining room in the back where we talk, laugh and enjoy ourselves. Who thought it would get BETTER? Food offerings were vast and diverse. Almost eclectic-american if there is such a thing. Liz was more like a 'food guidance counselor' helping us through our ordering. Every person at our table raved about their meal and how we felt like THIS was true home cooking. DO NOT BYPASS THE PIES..............YUM!! - It's a bit far from Phoenix for a quick breakfast or lunch. But, I know at least 5 people who will go out of their way to make it to Oracle for a meal.

This dusty jewel in the high desert gives one an excuse to drive to Oracle. You won't find your typical greasy ham and fried eggs here buster. Every item on their eclectic menu is home-made and will make your taste buds wake up and say "Howdy!". Curry for breakfast? Sure, why not. Mushroom and chicken quiche so wonderful it raises the bar on anything else with that name. Design-ur-own frittata with every fresh ingredient imaginable. Flat bread and salads. Killer Filet Mignon chili. But...you must save room for homemade pie with crust better than my grandma used to make. We decided that this little hole in the wall was worth the drive from Phoenix any day!

Great food and great service. The specials change often and are always creative. I doubt you will be disappointed, its worth the drive if you do not live nearby.

Great little spot in Oracle. If you're in Oracle, check out Biosphere2, stay at the Triangle L Ranch and check this cafe out. The scone was amazing - and I hate scones.

What a jewel. The menu had many interesting and tasty items. We even took a piece of blueberry pie to go. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

Stopped here after a day trip to Biosphere. (about 15 minutes away) Quaint lil place with a cozy patio and AWESOME fresh food! I had the Mediterranean salad and a smoothie. My boyfriend had the special which was a "black & bleu salad". Breakfast is served all day and they have a delicious variety of desserts. It also seems they have a great selection of specials every day, too. Reasonably priced and service was good. We'll definitely be back next time we're in this area.
