Second visit to this location. Great service again this visit. Ordered a cake and couldn't be happier! Will definitely be back to this BR for my future cake order!
Always a great treat Baskin-Robbins has always been a lot time favorite of mine. Quality confections, quickly prepared and reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly and service is always fast. The hardest part of my visit is making a selection with so many flavors to choose from. Once you make a selection you will have your ice cream in hand within minutes, reguardless of how busy the store is. So if your looking for geeat icecream head to Baskin-Robbins for a mouth-watering experience.
Note to owner/management, the two kids working on 12/17/13 should be commended! The tasty treats we all love at Baskin Robbins are always the same regardless of the store you go to. There are three things that will continually bring me back to this location: *strip mall! I always have a good feeling coming to this store. There is another store three miles south of this one that makes you feel you are "slumming it" for ice cream. You have plenty of parking without the worry of your car leaving without you. There are two outdoor tables that you want to sit at because the area is so nice. *customer service! Excellent customer service is doled out on every visit to my family and I at this store. These kids honestly appear to enjoy their jobs which is always refreshing. The pride these employees exhibit makes you want to buy something. *store appearance! On top of the over the top customer service, these kids keep the store clean. I have never seen this store dirty or unorganized. The clientele here always pickup after themselves which contributes to the cleanliness. Why settle for a mediocre product or treatment? This area has plenty of choices to get frozen treats from. I hope my message of this store makes it to my fellow Yelper! If you do come out to this store and are given great customer service, be sure to drop a little something in these kids tip jar. You know you've been to other establishments with rude/unfocused kids manning the counters. Take care of them!

My go to place for pizza. never disapoints. Barros special is always good. Plain cheese yummy.
Pizza is good, not spectacular. I do like that they have the buffalo wing pizza, which I think is great. Basic salad bar with your traditional toppings, most if which can be found on one of their pizza offerings. Sometimes the lettuce has seen better days so I pick around it. They have ample space to accommodate a larger party which is nice. The girls working the counter are always friendly and energetic. I've mostly been here during lunch hours and I have to say that they have the system down because this place can get really busy. They have great luch specials which is what seems to draw the crowd. The place always seems clean and they do a standard job when it comes to keeping the salad bar stocked and clean. Sometimes there is a bottleneck to get drink re-fills because the fountain is next to the silverware, napkins and salad bar but this is a minor inconvinience. I have had their italian sub which I wouldn't order again, it just wasn't that great. I would recommend the pizza to a friend and return to eat again.
Really enjoy this particular location. Food is always good and delivery time is what I would expect.

I'm new to the West Valley and this is the 4th or 5th Chinese place I have tried. It is by far the best of the small handful I've sampled. The key to this place is the fact that they make your dish fresh when you order. It is piping hot and fresh every time. The best dish I've had is the spicy orange chicken!!! I've also had the general, sweet and sour, and sesame. The general was a touch on the bland side. The other 2 dishes were spot on. You can't beat the lunch prices, around 6 dollars for a generous serving of your entree, rice, soup, an egg roll, and a crab puff.
Been here several times and the food is consistently good. Staff is friendly and my order is always right. Orange chicken is good and low mein excellent. Don't think they have alcohol and it's more take out than dine in, but servings are generous and good. Support a local business.
Another fast delivery and my two friends of asian descent said it was good-not great or craveable but having delivery makes it desirable. 3 1/2 stars, rice could be better.

Small Japanese restaurant. Quite hip and clean. Price was a bit steep for what you get.
Blu is my new favorite sushi restaraunt. The fish is always superb. I will concede that the service can be very spotty, even during times when they're not very busy. If you sit at the sushi bar you shouldn't have any trouble, though. Ask the sushi chef for recommendations and he'll prepare sushi based on your personal tastes. Chances are you won't be disappointed.
Don't bother sitting in the general dining area. You will wait too long to get your drink refilled and order taken. Sit at the sushi bar and let Richard spoil you. That is all.

Came to Park Cafe with my hubby and mom-in-law for breakfast during our Arizona visit and had an awesome experience! Food was so delicious!!! The place was cute and cozy. Servers were nice and friendly. Oh, and they make you drink your mochas in these gigantic cups. You'll feel like you're never running out of mocha. Haha. We'll definitely come back when we visit AZ again.
So this place is kinda neighborhood grunge vibe and I like it. It is an old brick building that lends itself to charm. Also a couple of cool stained glass windows The servers all seem pretty cool and they have beer, wine, and liquor. They can also do full coffee espeesso, cappuccino etc. The menu is small but has enough variety. Omelets, paninis, burritos, and traditional breakfast. They also gave sandwhiches, and burgers for lunch. I got a south of the border omelet with potatoes and rye toast. My favorite thing they have is the options for toast 5 options or English muffin. If I lived here this is the kind of spot I would frequent. It reminds me of Jonathans in Dallas which is one of my fav in my home area. The only negative is the odd hostess station/waiting upon arrival. They have a station outside with a sign that says wait to be seeted. No one was there so I went inside and no one appeared to be the hostess so I waved down the bartender and he grabbed her. It was just kind of akward. The whole time I was there the hostess did not stay outside at the stand. I understand it is hot but maybe stand inside next to the door to watch. I gave them 5 stars based on service alone. I sat at the bar and was asked about 3 times if I needed anything and was continually given refills etc. All servers seem to be working together well and the food is spot on.
I googled breakfast after being tired of everything around me and this place came up. It's a cute small quaint place. The menu is small but offers a variety of choices. Today I ordered the special of the day raspberry mango pancakes with bacon and chilaquiles plate it was awesome! After seeing the plates with breakfast potatoes on then I decided to order those too it's an assortment of different colored potatoes. Pricing is pretty good and service was good as well :) I'll definitely come back

Very friendly reception and service. The four of us had different selections and everyone made comments on the perfect preparation. The rack of lamb was the best I have ever had. Very comfortable dining room. Every staff member had a smile...a great experience!
Ok, my previous review was based on the dish I picked which was the pork chops. (not the best thing on the menu). But this update is to talk about what others at my table really liked, one was the trout, which was really good and the other was the New York steak strip which was tender and also good. I still believe this place is on the expensive side. But to be fair I thought i'd update my review concerning what others at my table thought. Just be cognizant that this place is pricey and at least some dishes aren't worth it.
The food was hit-n-miss but on the whole good. The service was nice but she seemed distracted most of the time. The noise and lack of privacy were unacceptable. The prosciutto with dates appetizer was good but there was nothing to it. It was exactly just the ingredients, a little bit of prosciutto and 3 dates. There's no reason to order it again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone because you could easily make it at home. The warm beet salad was excellent. The farmers salad however did not fit the meal or the season. It was light and citrusy, it would be excellent for a warm summer evening, or light spring lunch at a cafe, not a cold February evening at a steakhouse The lamb was good, just good. The filet was excellent but did not need the sauce added. It was very tender for grass-fed beef. The beef was served with some melt in your mouth baby potatoes that were excellent. We ordered mushrooms as a side and they were not good. This was especially noticable because the mushrooms at Red's (Litchfield's predecessor) were simply amazing. The creme brule and creme with berries deserts were just ok. The creme brule was over powered by the marmalade on it. The creme with berries had some sort of cake or bread at the bottom that was supposed to be soaked in grand marnier but only half of it was, the other half was hard and not good. We did not enjoy the proximity of other tables and the amount of noise from all the close tables packed into the dining room. Adding to the din was the kitchen, located in the dining room with all the banging and clattering, it was hard to enjoy a quiet conversation. It's the best we'll find in the SW valley but no one should drive out just for this restaurant. In the end the quality of the main courses and the salads saved the restaurant. so A-Ok.

Fast service, really good food for the price, and super friendly staff. Hot Southwestern burrito with Carne Asada = YUM
An old favorite La Loma Mexican Grill is tucked away in a small strip mall and has been there for as long as I have been in Arizona. The atmosphere at La Loma has nice causual vibe and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. As you walk into La Loma you make your way to the front counter, view the menu, place your order, take a seat, and wait for your entrée to be delivered to your table. La Loma offers a good varied menu at reasonable prices. The only drawback is the plastic silverware and plates that your entrée is served on. However, I didn't mind the styrofoam plates and plastic utensils after all its the food on the plate that matters not the plate it self. The food at La Loma is fresh and tasty and my lunch companion and I enjoyed are meals. Looking forward to our next visit.
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Love the carnitas!! My wife loves the cheese enchiladas. The beans are outstanding! Great family restaurant!

Red’s Bar & Grill

The Wigwam,451 N Old Litchfield Rd
Litchfield Park, 85340
Reviews:
I have been to this place when it was Red Allen's Steak House and reviewed it under that name. However, it has undergone a drastic renovation from its previous iteration. They have done a phenomenal job. Gone is the subdued carpet, black and white clad wait staff and claustrophobic bar. They removed the wall separating the dining room from the bar area, essentially created one large open space. The floor is now done in a wood motif and the staff is wearing cute (if maybe a tad on the nose) Pendleton shirts with jeans. Now there are lots of TVs to relax and enjoy, but it isn't the loud sort of atmosphere your find at BWW, just a smidge more mature and refined than that. There is an accordion door that leads out onto the patio which overlooks a putting green and has views of the 18th green. The menu for lunch/dinner has also undergone a massive change. The Redwings are seriously delicious and the Bacon-IPA cheese dip is a hit. They also offer Korean Crispy wings which looked super yummy, though we didn't try them last week when we went, we may well try that tonight. There is also now a decent selection of local (San Tan and Four Peaks) draught brews as well as some smart major brewery choices. Other Items range from burgers and fish tacos to steak frites. The only "negative" comments and the reason for the lack of the star is two fold. The chicken drummettes came out the first time, ever so slightly under cooked. Since this is chicken, it matters. When they came out again, the fat ones were just over the threshold to be eaten, thank goodness. The flat portions were fine, which explains the problem. Pieces of chicken which are that different in size (the drummettes are generous) can't be cooked for the same amount of time. I was told they double fry these, which is awesome, but they need to cook the drums separately on the first go and add a couple of minutes to their cooking time. They can then be combined and fried the second time together. (Not like they are going to read this, but my .02 anyway). The second "issue" if you will was just an inexperienced wait staff. This is understandable given the new format. In short, a long overdue local bar and grill with a good selection of freshly made, quality foods, paired with tasty beers and cocktails. Headed there again this afternoon for happy hour!!!
Great beer selection on tap. That was the highlight. The hot wings were lousy because they were loaded with salt. My girlfriend and I know wings and she stopped at her first wing. I ate a few more because I'm a guy but couldn't get over the salt and left half. I always eat all My wings. When the bartender ask how the wings were, I let him know. There wasn't an interest or any kind of response from him and just assumed no one really wants the feedback. Nice guy but not sure the wigwam really cares to listen. They did a nice job on the re-model though. We also had fish tacos. She liked them, I was unimpressed. You get three deep fried frozen fish strips and some corn on a corn tortilla. All in all, I will not be returning. Good luck.
I wish I could have given this place 3 1/2 stars because I feel 3 is a little harsh, but I just can't do 4. In the end I'm paying for a meal and the food has to meet the mark. Nestled into the huge campus of the Wigwam Resort, this place inside is cool indeed. The layout inside is conducive to small groups hanging out and having a few drinks. The bar and patio were substantial. The view from the patio is great as it is right off the golf course. My party and I went for breakfast and sat outside. We were passed by several servers for about 5 to 10 minutes before one of them approached us and decided to be our server. (Maybe we looked like bad tippers?) They had a breakfast buffet which looked good but didn't seem worth it to me for the $15 price tag. I ordered the monte cristo sandwich. It came open faced which was interesting. The turkey was dry and the cheese was bland. I must admit, I prefer the monte cristo battered and deep fried with the raspberry preserves and powdered sugar. (Like at Disneyland!) I was turned off when they scoffed at an order for a simple ham and cheese omelet from a child in our party. They suggested we pay for a child's buffet and order one at the omelet bar. It was undercooked. The menu was limited and they didn't entertain any type of variations/substitutions to the items listed. We all know this type of place. They rely heavily on the view, location and the resort business to carry them along. The prices are high and the food mediocre at best. I would rather spend my money at a dive and receive awesome food I can't get anywhere else. I guess I just convinced myself....they deserve the 3 stars.
