Brought my wife, kids, and their friends here after a soccer game. Ordered 3 small pizzas. Best pizza in Kingman. The Philly Cheesesteak pizza is awesome.

No complaints. After a 3 night Havasupai backpack Vito's easily took care of our groups appetites. Great Pizza, wings and salads with good prompt service. A few reasonably priced delicious chocolate chip cookies finished the meal. Worth the stop.

Famished after another long day hiking in the area, my weary and disheveled group decided on Italian food to feed our hunger. We shared the fried mushrooms, zucchini, and ravioli apps. They were all good, but the ravioli was the winner of the three. A dinner salad is also included in the meal with the dressing served in a small plastic container. The blue cheese dressing was good. The main course was a huge portion of Mostaccioli with about 2 pounds of cheese baked on top. It had a good amount of meat as well. Even as hungry as I was, I could not finish it. Splitting the bill 4 ways took about 15 minutes to square away, which was a little annoying. The server was nice and helpful with dinner suggestions. It's definitely "American" style Italian, but I'd much prefer to give a local restaurant the business as opposed to the chains that line the streets of smaller towns. For the price, it's a very good value.

No longer butt hurt that there isn't an Olive Garden in town! Much better quality food. Pasta is made fresh daily. And the bread passes my test! Delicious.

There is no way this place gets anything beyond 3 stars!!!! The staff was not happy to see us at 8 pm Sunday night but geez, we had driven 8 hours and saw that the reviews were good. Don't even bother ordering beer or wine. When I asked what kind of white wine there was I was told "Chablis" then she pointed to it on the menu like I hadn't heard it fly out of her mouth. It really just says Chablis, no name brand or anything. We sat down with an open mind. The restaurant could use a good cleaning, including the wall next to our table which had food splashed on it. The spaghetti with meat sauce was ok. Too much rosemary for my liking but I believe the pasta itself was quite good. The salad, eh....the bread, forget it. The photos and reviews of the pizza were appealing and if I had it to do over that's what I would have gotten. I'm sensitive to hardworking chefs trying to keep their restaurants running during tough economic times. while quality food is extremely important, so is the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.

Hot wings w cajun seasoning was so crispy and juicy! My shrimp alfredo was so nicely done with fresh and plump shrimp. My husband ordered mac n cheese with meatball and we found out all of their pasta was hand made!! He loved the chunky meatballs too. Our waitress Amanda was so attentive, informative, and friendly. Also we were super happy about the price of beer and wine!! It's easily about half price of what we usually pay in LA.... We totally enjoyed our dinner in the last day of our trip to the grand canyon! Thank you!!

We were really hungry and this place was the only one besides fast food that our GPS found. The restaurant was off the main streets and we were actually a bit scared when we saw the building. But it smelled really good inside so we decided to eat. The waitress was really friendly and attentive. All the dinners include a salad with a choice of dressing and a garlic bread, which is not even mentioned in the menu. The pasta I had was amazingly good! I believe the pasta itself is housemade and so is the sauce. Also our appetizer (cheese-garlic bread with tomato dip) was really yummy! Portions are big! If you come by Kingman definitely eat at this restaurant! So good and such a great price.

A nice meal stop between Grand Canyon and California. Home made Italian food in a mom and pa shop in the middle of nowhere. Super yummy food. Most of the diners are local. The price is reasonable. A typical dish is about $10. Good option if you are tired of fast food on a road trip. The Pizza is fresh. Pasta is home made. Salad is fresh- I ate my entire salad and I don't even like salad! The garlic bread doesn't look super yummy, but don't let the look fools you. Whatever butter they put on top made it super delicious. If you are around the area it is a nice meal option. But I would not be able to find it without GPS because it is really in the middle of no where.

Basing this off a one time review since we we're traveling. My husband and daughter got sick, mild food poisoning. She had pizza and my husband had lasagna. He said it tasted great, we used delivery which was great timing. Their pizza tasted... Over seasoned? The Italian seasoning (generic/dry brand was very visible. I only ate one slice and my boys were not that into it either. A BIG con is that they will not sell regular garlic bread... You can only have it with cheese. I said I would pay the price if they would take the cheese off. They said that wasn't possible. So, I guess they do not make it fresh and use frozen stuff which would explain the odd taste. What kind if pizza place doesn't make garlic bread???? Very annoying.

The food was really really tasty. One of the greatest hole in the walls I've been to.. Perfect place to stop in on the way home from AZ. Yelp reviews is to be thanked for why we visited. Place was packed.. We had abt a 15min wait time. I had the Shrimp Alfredo which was abso delish.. Wife had the spaghetti and meatballs which was also good. Customer service was good. My only criticism (as a germaphobe) would be the bathrooms which could have been kept up a little better . All in all I give this place a strong four stars!

We've been here several times and the food is always fresh & delicious! Had pizza, spinach artichoke lasagna (best I've ever had!), shrimp tortellini...and their salads are ALWAYS fresh & crisp. I love their ranch dressing and their mozzarella cheese is some of the best I've ever had too. I was so happy to find such a great Italian restaurant when I moved here last year and the service is always very friendly.

Nice Italian meal on the border of nowhere. Ate here on our way to the Grand Canyon and it was an culinary oasis for the location. Full sit down meal with great service. I always had a full cup of water. Group was very happy with the meal. The decor feels cheap, as far as the tables and plate ware, bit it makes it feel cozy like a family dinner outdoors and enjoyed the paintings inside. Great quality food art an affordable price on your way to/from Havasupai

I happened to be in Kingman for a few days since the weather back east was rough and not for traveling. I wanted to eat some spaghetti. I fell for another Italian restaurant the day before. I decided to give Vito's a try. The spaghetti was good and had a lot of meat and also included a side salad and bread. I got my salad and one piece of bread with it. I could have skipped the bread, which had seen better days. It was good, but not nearly as tasty as the previous day from another restaurant. I would rely on Vito's as a backup and that would be all. Maybe their pizza is what people go there for.

Don't eat anywhere else in Kingman!! I mean it. This food was absolutely fantastic. We were traveling and stopped in a hotel. I was too tired to go out so I asked the desk clerk what a good place that delivered. Spouse got the Vito's special pizza and I got chicken Parmesan. When I ordered I thought "yay another dry chicken". but I was TOTALLY shocked, you could cut the chicken with the plastic fork. It was delicious!! And came with spaghetti and a HUGE salad. Spouse kept saying " I am so full! I am so full I'm not going to eat anymore" but POOF that pizza was gone! I am jealous of the citizens of Kingman. I would eat here every week!!

Me and my husband stopped to eat at Vito's. We had the Vito special pizza. It was soo good and the young lady helping us with our order was soo nice. We are definitely coming back.

Kingman is one of the larger towns in this part of Arizona. On a recent cross-country road trip, we stopped here around 8pm, when just about all the other places not counting the burger chains were all closing up. Enter Vito's. The interior of this place is full of funky kitsch, which adds to the small town charm. It is tacky, but if a way that is endearing. Consider it like visiting your long-lost Italian grandmother's home. Yea, it is like that. There's vinyl table clothes, the chairs are black plastic and grey metal and the carpet is stained. Yea, it aint' winning any awards for the decor. What was winning, however, was the service and food. Our waitress was a really cheerful lady who was very quick at taking our order, plus stopped in several times to ensure we were doing just fine. The parking lot was packed full of cars when we drove up, but she worked multiple tables very effectively. The girl at the register was also very quick in pulling up our tab. As for the eats, I ordered the Shrimp Tortelini which was a fairly small serving, but very tasty. As with most of the dinner options, they are right around $10 except for the pizzas. The price is right. There was a small house salad that was paired with the pasta dish. I was disappointed by the Italian dressing that tasted more or less like it came from a Kraft bottle. From an "Italian" place, I expected a better offering. My road mate ordered the Mama's pizza, which was the highlight of what they offered. Seriously, read the ingredients on the menu. If you like those components, you'll love this pizza. It was served baked to perfection, not too doughy, not too crispy. As with the story of the three bears and the young lady named Goldilocks, it was "just right".

Be sure to add "E" or "East" when dropping the address into google maps. It is in the general vicinity of the airport. Food was excellent, homemade pasta and bread, very reasonable prices.

Travelin Shoes doesn't usually eat Italian food unless it's pizza. But I took a shot and had the shrimp tortellini. I want more! It was sooooo good that I sponged the remaining sauce up with my one slice of garlic bread. I want more. The food was great, service awesome, decor...I don't know. Hey did you know everyone eats at 4:00 pm? Yea, by 5:30 pm the streets in Kingman were empty.

Based on Yelp reviews we ate here on a recent trip to Kingman, AZ and what a treat it was!!! Now, I have to warn you that the appearance is a bit off-putting with an old building and dated decor. (Actually, it reminded me of some of my favorite family-owned type of restaurants so I found it to be kind of homey). However, the delicious food, friendly service and excellent value more than make up for any deficiencies in appearance. (But then again, I'd much rather have great food in such a location than mediocre slop in a fancy, over-priced chain restaurant). We ate here on a Tuesday night about 7:30 and upon entry were tantalized by the delicious aroma of pizza! They seemed to be doing quite a take-out business. We were greeted and seated immediately and the nice waitress was very helpful. Based on Yelp recommendations, we decided to try two appetizers - fried ravioli and the garlic cheese bread. The plump ravioli were stuffed with a tasty ricotta cheese mixture. The garlic cheese bread was laden with plenty of yellow cheese (I would have expected parmesan and herbs, but it was quite good as it was). Both appetizers were cooked to perfection, substantial and served with generous sides of savory marinara sauce. We ordered a 14-inch pizza of half pepperoni and half Hawaiian with mushrooms. The toppings were abundant, the sauce was tasty and and the crust was just the right mix of medium thickness, slight chewiness, and crisp exterior reminiscent of those cooked in a wood-burning pizza oven. (Maybe it was? I forgot to ask). The combination of bread, sauce, meat and cheese was quite delightful. The meal was so delicious that we opted to try dessert. We decided upon the honey almond bee which, the waitress explained, was a new recipe and was a home-baked sweet bread sliced horizontally, filled with home-made custard and topped with a honey glaze and toasted almonds. Yum. It was perfect. The taste and texture of the bread was very similar to that of a special bread that my Italian grandmother would make each Easter. We ordered a cannoli to go. It was alright, but I preferred the almond bee. We had a lovely experience at Vito's and would highly recommend the restaurant. The prices were very reasonable and we had plenty left over for dinner the next day. In fact, I was enjoying the second round while typing this review!

So worth it! Had the eggplant with pasta. Wow! The breaking on the eggplant was perfect! The marinara was the best I've ever had outside of my house. A great find! Thanks Yelp!

Great place in the middle of nowhere. We stopped on our way back from Las Vegas, NV delicious Italian food. We got the spaghetti with meat sauce and lassagna, both were wonderful. Excellent service, very friendly staff. Don't let the outside appearance fool you, inside is funny/cute like a house in Italy. :)

Great great place we got the fried ravioli and the spinach dip to start then we got the Vitos special pizza it was very very good. I will definitely be back when I go to Vegas again our meal totaled $25 for a 12in pizza and the 2 appetizers. The staff was awesome as well always had full drinks and they checked on us often. Great family atmosphere and great food

We chose this place based on the reviews, so I am hoping that we were there on a bad night. The food was so-so, we had to ask for water (several times) and our garlic cheese bread, (which we finally gave up on and never received) I ordered the eggplant parm and was told that they were out of it. My 2nd choice was the "meatball" parm, a plate of spaghetti and meatballs topped with cheese. Hmm. The decor is very dated. The wine selection was very limited. I am a chardonnay drinker, which they don't have, so I went with a half carafe of Chianti, which was so bad, I couldn't drink it. I won't return.

This is a good Kingman restaurant. Out on the edge of town on Northern Ave. The interior is better than the exterior. Been here a few times. Pizzas are always good, I think the best in Kingman. Pastas are large portions and good. Not the best you'll ever have but respectable. Spaghetti with meatballs, veal parmesan and lasagna all not bad. One major plus for this place is they deliver and it is always hot. Always happy with their hot delivery. Their salads are so so. And they do seem to run out of things, which isn't all that bad. Looking forward to the next time.

We ordered a pepperoni, mushroom and olive pizza that was good and the cajun wings which were excellent! We also tried their chocolate chip cookies which were dipped in chocolate... YUUMMMMY!

Five stars all the way! I was craving a supreme pizza. Typically, I would have gone to Papa John's. But saw them on Yelp and was instantly drawn into this place from the reviews. This is probably my go to pizza place now. All the prices were very reasonable for everything. Love it here. Will definitely be coming back!!

  • Adam B.

Love this place, THE BEST lasagna in town! The Pizza is awesome, ask about their specials. With that said, this is a really popular place for locals... so be prepared to wait 10 or 15 minutes if they are busy.. it is totally worth it.

My family enjoyed this quaint little place very much. I highly recommend the gourmet mac-n-cheese. My two kids split a small pizza. My hubby had the lasagna. We were overall pleased and left feeling well fed.

An oasis in the desert! Do not let the single $, poor curb appeal, and tacky Italian decor scare you off! The food here was $$ - $$$ quality, and the service was fast and friendly. We ordered cheesy bread as the appetizer, which was a full loaf of FRESH Italian bread, with very tasty (not too sweet) marinara sauce for dipping. Our entrees were baked mastaccioli and chicken linguini Alfredo. Both came with a FRESH side garden salad, were generously portioned, had FRESH pasta cooked al dente, and very tasty sauces. The only "negative" was that the chicken was...well...chicken. It actually took away from the flavor of the dish, and was picked out. The entire meal, with beverages, totaled $31! If you're ever in/around Kingman, it is definitely worth going the extra mile to avoid eating fast food!

Driving towards the Grand Canyon, we hunted yelp and found Vito's. Seems to be a quiet popular local place for take out pizza. We had a calzone and the veal parmigiana. Veal came with a side of spaghetti and a salad. Spaghetti and salad were good. Veal had a good flavor, but be warned that it's a ground veal breaded patty, most likely frozen. It was covered with a decent sauce and a good layer of melted cheese. Calzone was very good also. Wouldn't be a four stars in a bigger city, but it's pretty good for a place like Kingman.

  • John A.

Very good Italian food and lots of it. My wife had lasagna, with a salad to start and a soda. I had shrimp alfredo with salad. Our bill including tax was 25.18. The staff (I think owners) were very friendly. It doesn't get any better than this. It doesn't look like much from the street but its definitely worth the stop.

    (5)
  • Pam P.

Be warned: there's only one person serving. Unsure if she's the manager or owner but she doesn't know how to delegate staff. She is personable and friendly but our patience ran thin. She told us "I'll be right there" 14 times from arrival to end. It got annoying. When customers are there waiting to pay, take their money... Yelpers say food is worth the wait. The service ruined it for us.

Nothing special. Decent food. If you live in kingman, then maybe this is a place to go to. We traveled between Las Vegas and Grand Canyon, this is definitely not worth the time.

  • Jaclynn W.

After all day on the road, Vito's was just the treat we needed. Decent pizza and a fresh house salad delivered right to our hotel room. There was a slight mixup in our order (wanted onions, got olives instead), but we weren't all that disappointed. The pizza was still well-made and delivered quickly.

If you use the Apple map program you might get lost we did. It is very easy to find if you have good directions. We were the last and only customers so our service was excellent. My wife had spaghetti with meat sauce and sausage. She wait it was very good. My Lasagna was one of the best I have eaten. We recommended Vito's to our hotel. They claimed not to be aware of them. We will return when in the area

I love Vito's and I haven't tried many other things on the menu as I struck gold and absolutely love the Vito's special pizza and their wings. Vito's special---supreme pizza packed with tons of topping. Big pizza on a thinner crust. Love the fresh ingredients. Hot/BBQ wings---their wings are fabulous and we always get the sauce that is a mixture of Hot and BBQ. It is tangy with a little bit of fire and taste great with blue cheese dipping sauce. The wings are super saucy, which is just the way I like them.

Really great chicken wings and pizza. We ordered the Cajun wings....DA BOMB we requested thin crust pizza. It was excellent ....kidz ordered pepperoni and I ordered veg with garlic DELISH!!!!! Hole in the wall with great Italian Food!

By far the absolute best food in Kingman! All locals need to try this place out. Love that the menu is small with some amazing tasty Italian food that is constantly consistent! The spinach artichoke lasagna is delicious!!! So much better than all the chain restaurants and steak houses here in Kingman.

This used to be one of our favorite places in town, but after the last few visits it will be awhile before I come back. This current visit we had to wait 15 min for a table (not usually a big deal) however at least five to ten of those minutes had two empty tables that needed to be cleared. Once again the waitress was busy so usually this wouldn't bother me, except the other woman who works there and eventually cleared the table was talking and socializing the whole time. We then ordered our food, it took 45 mins to get to us. A meatball sub and wings should not take anywhere near this long. To top it off we went 15 min needing refills after our food came. So the food tasted fine but the service was horrible. Don't waste your time!

Stayed at the best western and had a long day driving. Opened the folder in the hotel and found a menu for Vito's. What luck. They delivered a very good pizza and salad to our room in about a half hour. Everything was very good. Very pleased!

  • Albert D.

Quaint and unassuming, yet wonderful in its own way. Homemade pasta was excellent. I had Lasagna and it wasn't one pound of noodles, but a wonderful balance of all ingredients. Very nice and friendly staff- attentive but not overbearing. Pizza was definitely popular here. Gonna give it try next time around. Lost one star because the decor is awfully long in the tooth. Worth a try nonetheless.

  • JC W.

We got the Mama's pizza, spinach /artichoke sauce with chicken and cheese. It was ok. The sauce was fairly good and the crust was the way I like it. The chicken was low quality though and it didn't settle well with the wife. Not bad for Kingman,AZ. Not likely that we'll eat here again unless we're hungry the next time we go through Kingman. I'd be willing to try something different.

Ate here tonight on our way through Kingman. We wanted something new and a place to sit down. Servers were incredibly friendly. A+ for hospitality. Food was not incredible. tasted like Italian food I can cook at home. Pasta may have been fresh but it was heavy and chewy. I ordered a standard chicken Alfredo. I could tell chicken was pre packaged frozen slices. my friend ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs were tasty but salty. Meals came with Iceberg salads with cheese and diced tomatoes. Decor was pretty random. Bathrooms not very nice.

After reading the reviews and in need o some good spaghetti, we decided to give the place a try. I'm sure glad we did!! The spaghetti was spot on perfect, the bread was awesome! One of our guys had the pizza, and man did it look good!! This will definitely be a weekly stop while we are in town working!!

  • Brian Z.

Been back for the pizza and that gets them the coveted fifth star. Yes, it is more expensive than Pizza Hut, but you get what you pay for. Having the Vito's Special, the one with "everything", it is fresh and not greasy. The large will feed two teenagers or a family of four. I'm out of delivery range but will gladly drive for take out because it gets so crowded at peak dining times. Emphasis on pasta and pizza, not the traditional Italian entrees.

We drove right past Flagstaff without realizing it and Kingman seemed the only logical place to stop. Once again, we trusted other Yelpers. You all seemed to agree that this place was worth going a few miles off I 40. Having dined at many Italian restaurants, I will say this....don't let the sign scare you away! It doesn't reflect what this place is about. It isn't a bad sign, but in quickly glancing at it there is no way I would have tried this place if I was driving rough town. We were seated immediately, got salads which were crisp and fresh, Italian dressing simple and tasty. Garlic bread, which was available in either a full order or by the slice was very good, and the pizza, ordered with light cheese, was extraordinary. Made perfectly, and all three elements of the pie would get a 5 star rating....crust, cheese and sauce. Very pleased with the experience. Treat yourself!

  • Ray S.

We were pleasantly surprised with this place. We arrived in Kingman and were unsure where to eat Italian food. We are from the SF Bay Area and have dined at the best of restaurants. We discovered the comments on Yelp regarding Vito's and saw that most were favorable.. First I might say ..the appearance from the outside you will think twice. The sign and exterior are outdated. We entered and were immediately taken care of. My wife had the shrimp tortellini and I took a chance on the Veal Parmigiana. The portions of food were substantial and very well prepared. Our dinners came with salads. Anyway, I would highly recommend this place.

On a recent road trip from Chicago to Las Vegas, we were tired of eating fast food along the interstate. I was craving a bowl of pasta. As we were approaching Kingman, AZ, I used Yelp to find a restaurant. I chose Vito's based on its star ratings and reviews and it did not disappoint! A fresh, crisp garden salad to start with homemade bleu cheese dressing followed by a big plate of spaghetti (also homemade--the pasta for the day is made fresh every morning) with four meatballs that rivaled my mother's. Nearly every table was taken during the Wednesday lunch rush. Vito's is about 2 miles off I-40, but a worthwhile detour.

The food was great and the service was very good. They seem to have a large following of locals and know them by name. This is a hole in the wall spot soooo there are a few things that you may have to look past. There is a whole lot of decorator misc. stuff ALL over the place. It also could use a good cleaning and re-touch of paint and such in the dining room and libby area. It is also has the strangest configuration of tables and sizes for the very small dining area. Overall good experience.

So we're driving the long drive from Flagstaff to Los Angeles, the kids and wife are hungry, and I really don't want to go to some fast food joint, there has to be something off the beaten track here in Kingman, Hmmm, if only there was some way I could search for all the restaurants in a city as I drive in.....Hey, Yelp! And voila, there's VIto's. It's definitely a little old school, with the heavy sauced pastas and pizzas, but it has salads, and it looks pretty good. What do you know, the stuff is good tasting, the prices are cheap, and the portions are large. What else could one want? We did have a very unimpressive artichoke dip - my advice, skip it in the future. But, the pizzas were fair sized and very tasty, not too thick a crust, but sold enough that it didn't fall apart. The kids had some wings (good, not great) and a Philly cheesesteak (the small was plenty large). It was tasty, nothing terrific, but a great find in what seemed to be the middle of nowhere. Very pleasant staff, really what else can you ask for in Kingman AZ? I was thrilled, it was a 10 min drive from the freeway (in contrast to those typical fast food places that are right off the freeway), and had a bunch of local flair. Next time I'm eating in Kingman, I'm there.

I used to live in Kingman back in the 90's and ate here a lot. My Mom still lives here . Vito 's is one of our go to places when I'm in town visiting. We love the food but it's more about the service. They are so accommodating to older, physically challenged guests. No matter how busy the place is, one is always made to feel special. Oh, the food is always fresh , hot and tasty. Portions are HUGE and great value .

Friendly little joint, and probably as good as it gets in Kingman. If you're driving through and want something off the beaten traveler track, give Vito's a try. They make a lot of their own pasts and clearly take pride in their pies. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce. Technically I'd say the sauce was a little too sweet, but a little salt and red pepper went a long way to fixing that its probably sweet because they cook it forever. Better that than popping open can of something. My wife had the baked rigatoni and that was just fine. She also ordered a glass of wine - they offer Chablis or chianti - she ordered the chianti. It was the only real miss. Some people like wine that sweet, it wasn't my bag. (Literally I think it came out of a bag). I'm going back, the next time I drive through to try a pizza. I. Sure the locals are happy to have tasty non-chain restaurant in town.

The outside looks scary but take a chance and go on in. The inside is lovely. And the food was great. Homemade pasta, homemade bleu cheese dressing (really good) and really hearty pizza. Shockingly good for a small city like Kingman. We all enjoyed their food very much!!

Bathroom was scary but other than that it was great! I got 2 smalls to share, with my little sister it was perfect. We each ate 3-4 pieces and now are full. We got a Hawaiian pizza and a half cheese half pepperoni. I would get the Hawaiian pizza again but not the pepperoni. Great experience.

Vito's has the best pizza in Kingman, bar none. I throw them a curve by ordering the vegetarian pizza "but throw some sausage on there." They get it right every time.

On our way to grand canyon and wanted pizza. Down side - a ways off the freeway. Veggie pizza was good medium perfect for 2 people. Antipasta salad was just grated cheese deli meat on iceberg. Service was very friendly but food service was slow. We wouldn't not go back but will most likely try another place next time through.

Found this place coming back from the Grand Canyon. It was a good meal at a reasonable price. The portions were very large so if you don't have a big appetite then you might be able to split something. I had the pizza, which was very good considering it was in the middle of Arizona. The pizza was not too greasy but still had good flavor. Overall this place has good food for the location and if you are heading back to Vegas from the Grand Canyon and you get hungry I would definitely give it a try.

Take the Stock Hill Rd exit off of I-40. I'm a corky kind of road trip guy. Took the family on a christmas vacation road trip to vegas-hoover dam-grand canyon. on the way home (palo alto, ca) from williams, az, we stopped by this city (or town?) and went to the Kingman Army Airfield Museum (see review there). After the museum it was about 12 pm so we drove to this place after finding it on yelp days before. We were pleasantly surprised at the food even though it sits in kind of middle of no where. I had the chicken marsala and wife had italian sausage sandwich, kid had kids' pizza and spaghetti. All were done well. Chiclen Marsala came with two chicken breasts grilled nicely and linguini in alfredo sauce - for $10.xx! Can't beat that. Total for lunch was only $26 before tip. And we were FULL. Service was friendly, too. Will definitely come back if we ever travel on I-40 through this town.

Vito's was one of the highlights of a two-night stay in Kingman. We ate at the restaurant the first night and enjoyed our meal so much that we ordered pizza delivered from there to our hotel room the second night.

We stopped here on our way back to Las Vegas after visiting the Grand Canyon. We had read the reviews so we knew it wasn't going to look like much and it didn't disappoint. It is just an old restaurant with kind of Italian decor. Truly funky. We ordered the Special 16" Pizza so we could take some home and my daughter had the Chicken pasta. The Pizza was great. Fresh with lots of toppings. My daughters Pasta dish was also excellent and it came with a salad (very good) and a large slice of Texas Toast. She was happy. Total bill to feed three hungry people was $30 and we took enough food home for lunch. I would stop here again if we are ever passing through Kingman again.

After much disappointment at that other Italian place in town, I was hesitant. This place came recommended by the guy at the take & bake pizza place. Wow! I am so happy to have found such a great restaurant in this tiny, fast food town! All the pastas, salad dressings, sauces and desserts are home made! I had spaghetti with meat sauce and meat balls and my husband had the special, tri-colored pasta with chicken and artichoke cream sauce. Delicious. My husband has a healthy appetite and even though he was quite satisfied with his portion, he couldn't resist helping me with the delicious meatballs and spoon fulls of my sauce. Dinner came with salad and garlic bread to make sure you get every drop. Dessert was canoli with chocolate chips or chocolate chip cookies. Only two to choose from because they were home made. Well worth the limited choice. We took an order of lasagna and canoli home for our daughter and can't wait to get back. Service was phenomenal and friendly and fast. Don't waste time or money trying that other place. You will not be disappointed with Vito's!

  • Martin A.

Thank you!!

No complaints. After a 3 night Havasupai backpack Vito's easily took care of our groups appetites. Great Pizza, wings and salads with good prompt service. A few reasonably priced delicious chocolate chip cookies finished the meal. Worth the stop.

Love this place, THE BEST lasagna in town! The Pizza is awesome, ask about their specials. With that said, this is a really popular place for locals... so be prepared to wait 10 or 15 minutes if they are busy.. it is totally worth it.

Stayed at the best western and had a long day driving. Opened the folder in the hotel and found a menu for Vito's. What luck. They delivered a very good pizza and salad to our room in about a half hour. Everything was very good. Very pleased!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
